1- Blood, Gore, and the Dinosaur
The dream begins at a church, where I am attending the funeral of someone I don't know with my family. One of the ladies is supposed to sing a solo in honor of the deceased, but the people in charge of the music accidentally play a really joyful, upbeat song which makes everybody laugh and ruins the melancholy mood.

I find a lot of money in the pew, which leads me to believe I may be dreaming. Although my nose-pinch reality check fails, I still have my suspicions...

Later, I go to the bathroom and start coughing up blood. It's not coming from my lungs, though; it's more like a reverse nose bleed. I'm beginning to fear that I'll drown, because there's just SO MUCH of it. (And let me tell you, it looked, felt, and tasted completely real.) Alarmed, I leave the bathroom to tell my parents... only to discover that I'm completely naked. "Okay, I HAVE to be dreaming," I say to myself and do another RC.
This time it works, and I am officially lucid.

I immediately remember that I MUST speak with Leroy, so I try to summon him. Instead, I am greeted by a Lady who is dressed in White. She tells me that she's wounded, and that I need to kill the creature that's chasing her while she heals herself. I try to explain that I don't have the time, that I'm looking for someone important. Apparently I don't have an option. The creature chooses that moment to burst into the room and start attacking us. Weaponless, I am barely able to defend myself as the Lady bolts from the room, telling me to let her know when it was dead.

This is not an easy beast to slay. Our battle carries over outside, where the Lady is watching. She is "encouraging" me to kill it, asserting that she hasn't much time to waste. Finally, I grow spikes from my shoes and stomp on the creature again and again, grinding my heal and mutilating it beyond repair. It's still making noises, though, which worries me.

"Is it really dead?" I ask the Lady anxiously.

"It doesn't matter, we have to keep going."

"You don't understand. I can't help you anymore, I have to look for Leroy."

"Leroy..." she murmurs vaguely, "I think I know him."

I ask if she can help me find him, but she insists that she has to overcome everything that's after her in order to become immortal. Just then, we encounter one of these "things" and are forced to fight again. This time she's a bit more help, although now I have no real memory of the incident.

Afterwards, I am now armed with a butcher knife (the square-ish kind) as we take shelter in a rotting tree house. The walls are set up to only be high enough to prevent you from falling out, so there's about four feet of space between the walls and the roof. I am about to ask her what we have to fight next, when I see a HUGE T-Rex charging straight towards us.

"You've got to be joking! How the hell do you expect me to fight a dinosaur!?" I obviously have no other choice, however. As the T-Rex (who, according to my "comrade," is named Leo) growls loudly and says something in a deep, angry voice about how us "cave people" took over the world. Resigning myself to the fact that I'd have to fight to live, I quickly rush the dino and slash at him with my knife. His tough hide prevents any damage from being done. Leo slashes my arm open, and I am forced to back up against the opposite wall.

I begin kicking the walls out to secure an escape route if the situation called for it, though I don't plan on retreating. I cannot describe how intense this situation is at the time; it lasts for quite a while, and I am cursing up a storm as I attempt to fight this gargantuan lizard. My companion temporarily dies at one point, leaving me to fend for myself. (Not that she was much help in the first place.)

Somewhere along the line, the dinosaur is replaced by a crazy lady who, of course, is bent on killing me. For the moment, however, she is forcing me to dance with her as she describes in vivid detail how she's going to kill me. (We're in a kitchen, though I don't remember how we got there.) As we dance close to the counter, I attempt to grab a knife behind her back... but miss and get a fork instead. On my second try, I succeed in acquiring the knife, but she notices and throws me backwards. Fed up, I charge toward her and stab her repeatedly (and somewhat psychotically) in the stomach until she dies.

Her blood is really warm, almost hot, and my hands are slick with it. The Lady in White comes back as I am attempting to clean up the crimson mess. "Good job," she tells me. After I get all the blood off my hands, I brandish my knife and manage to transform it into a razor sharp sword. I slash through the air a few times to test it, then turn to the Lady.

"Are we done yet?" I ask her.

"Not quite. First we have to make it through the Zombie Apocalypse."

"WHAT!? How long is THAT going to take?"

      "Only about three hours."

"Three hours! I just fought a dinosaur! Can't I rest first?" That question is answered by the sound of approaching zombies. Cursing, I quickly follow the Lady into a creepy looking abandoned building, but
the dream ends before I can fight anything else.

      1- Gary (fragment)
Somehow a naked picture of Gary from Pokemon has found it's way onto my laptop, and no matter what I do I cannot get rid of it. I am commenting to someone that it's not even a good picture of him. ((Weird, considering that not only has it been ages since I've seen Pokemon, but I never liked Gary in the first place.))

2- The Evil Virus of Doom
I am in Chemistry class with a bunch of raucous, misbehaving students. Our teacher has left the room for some reason. Several of my classmates run out into the hallway, because it is rumored that one of the students in another classroom is suffering from a horrible skin condition (or some similar ailment) and they want to check it out.

When the teacher returns, all of the students have made it back except for one. The teacher yells at him furiously, nearly bringing him to tears.

Later, a deadly computer virus is going around, and I am desperately trying to keep my laptop away from all of the infected computers. The virus is after people as well. One of my friends lays down across a bed in some hotel, and a little mechanical voodoo doll walks out from the headboard and stabs her in the head with a needle, infecting her. Alarmed, I pick up my laptop and keep away from the walls as I hurriedly exit the room to get help.

I become lucid while shooting jets of water out of my fingertips, and immediately remember my task. I MUST speak with Leroy. He's being an @$$ as usual, ignoring me when I call out his name. "I KNOW you can hear me!" I call out in frustration. Still no sign of him. Annoyed, I go outside in hopes of finding those creepy kids again. Maybe they'll be of some help this time, sice I eliminated their penguin problem. When I get to the road, I see that they are no longer in their usual spots. I do, however, spot two figures walking away from me, to the west. Quickly I catch up with them.

The first one is my lab partner from Chemistry. The other, while physically unfamiliar, seems...

"Who's your friend?" I ask my lab partner, though I'm fairly sure...

"I thought you knew him. This is Le----"

"Leroy!" I exclaim, with more delight in my voice than I had intended. "You look different again. Like a street punk." (Still hot as ever, though...)

He greets me in some kind of weird slang, making fun of my observation.

They begin walking quickly, so I latch myself onto Leroy's arm in order to not get left behind. "Wait, I have a lot of questions---" We suddenly make it to the graveyard, and I am startled to see that there are zombies everywhere.

"Welcome to The Dungeon," Leroy tells me with an evil grin. I just know he's going to leave me here to fight the zombies all by myself.

Because I'm clinging to Leroy's arm so tightly, my lab partner assumes that I'm afraid of the zombies. He's partly right; an aura of fear is coming from the zombies, and it radiates from Leroy as well. I'm terrified of them both, but it's easy to ignore. My real fear is that Leroy is going to leave me again. He STILL hasn't answered any of my questions!

I can tell he is about to go, so I act without thinking. I tackle him to the ground, and we begin fighting again. As usual.
This forces me into a false awakening, ending the dream.

      1- My Devilish Dream Guide
I have had more than my fair share, but I grab some more of the treats and sneak them off to my room for later. I notice that it is getting dark, so I flip on my light. There is a brief pause, then the light flickers on for a moment and promptly dies. "Well, it blew." I turn to go find a new bulb when I decide to RC. "It is a dream sign, after all." And it. . . Passes? Wow, I don't even remember going to sleep. I instantly remember my mission to find Anne, so I walk outside. It is early morning; the sun is not yet over the horizon, so i give it a bit of help. (Which works a little too well, the sun flies across to the opposite horizon instead.) Oops.

I begin to call out Anne's name, when I notice some children playing across the street. They give me the creeps, but I approach them anyway. (A horrible sense of dread lurks in the air, but I do my best to ignore it.) "Hey, do you know anyone named Anne?" I ask the nearest child, a boy of about 9 or 10.

      "No," he says.

The children are all really crazy, hiding from the "evil penguins that live in the forest." I hear something running through the woods, but I continue down the road, calling for Anne. "Anne, I know you can hear me! Anne!!!" The children are following, chattering quietly. A bunch of other people are following as well.

I turn around. "Okay, all dream characters leave! Now!!!" Several of them vanish, but the majority stay. I sigh in annoyance and keep walking.

We come to a place with a beautiful lake, sparkling in the sunlight. I put my hand in and it feels like real water. A forest is in front of us, and something is coming. My companions are afraid, and I am getting paranoid (something had apparently been stalking me through the woods the entire dream, starting with the "evil penguins") so we hurry back the way we came. The Strong Man is trying to hold onto me, but I break his grasp and take flight.

Some girl is now chasing me, jumping up and trying to pull me out of the air. She wants me to kill whatever is after us, but I have more important things to do. Somehow we are now in a building, and I have my back pressed to the ceiling to avoid her grasp. (Doorways are a problem, though.)

Eventually, I make it back to my house, a bit frustrated. I see a dog begin to approach me. "Stephanie?" I ask. It comes closer and I begin to pet it. "Speak," I say. The dog makes a few moaning noises. "Speak in ENGLISH. I don't understand dog."

The dog sighs and looks at me resentfully. "Very well." now I can see why it didn't want to talk. It's voice sounds like Alpha from Up.

It begins to recite a poem, which basically says that this dream is cursed because I know who my Dream Guide is and I refuse to accept it. That would explain the sense of dread the entire dream...

"You mean Leroy, don't you?" I ask, annoyed. The dog nods and walks off. After a moment, I sigh. "Wait! Leroy! Leroy!!! I'm sorry!!!"

Suddenly a man appears. He has long red horns coming out of his head and medium-length brown hair. He is dressed in the garments of a Dark King. "Leroy?" I ask, my eyes practically bugging out of my head. He was. . . hot. Incredibly hot.

      "Yep. Miss me?"

      "You look. . . different."

He explains the reason for the change, but I don't really remember it. (I was undoubtedly too busy staring at him.)

My worst fear has come true. And besides that, I think Leroy is the devil... I remember asking, the little mummy from so long ago, "How exactly did you become a charred corpse?" To which he replied, "My parents burned me." But regardless...

We are so connected that we use first person plural pronouns in place of first person singular. The dream begins with the three of us on the side of the road, where we hail a cab. the driver is a man in his middle ages, and his only other passenger is an elderly lady.

I get the lady's atention, and my mother chops her head off with a double bladed axe. I then stab the driver in the neck with a pocketknife again and again, until he dies.

Since the car is now out of control, the police stop us. I dart off into the forest at my mother's command, bloody knife still in hand. I am worried that my family has been captured, but I push all thoughts from my mind except for escaping from the police. I know that an Easter egg hunt is taking place in the forest somewhere nearby, and I think I can hide among the children. Instead, I run into a guy about my age who says he will help me.

We go to my house, where I must retrieve something. Demons have invaded the place, however, so I tell my friend to wait for me outside. After a horrible struggle with the demons, I retrieve what I was searching for and make it out alive. But only just. I am wounded, and my friend has to carry me through the city. My powers allow us to fly over buildings and cover huge distances.

In the lowlands, a swarm of yellow jackets get after us, but we make it to the ocean and hide under the water. It is here that we find my family. Only now, my mother wants to kill my friend. I cannot allow this to happen, because I have fallen in love with him. Thus, we run away yet again and go into hiding.

      1- House of Horror
My parents are fighting, and I suddenly become lucid. I fly over the trees and go to a large city, where I meet a little cat girl who is showing me around. She takes me to an abandoned building where we find some creepy looking anime dolls. Suddenly, something starts banging on one of the doors, and I know that whatever it is means harm. I try to keep it from coming in, but I am not strong enough and it bursts into the room. It is a demon clown with a butcher knife. It chases me through the house, and in each room a new horror appears, each one resembling a horror movie villan. I am not scared, but I am doing my best to get away. I burst through the window and run home.

Later, I learn that the little cat girl was a demon who had purposely put me in danger. I go back t that house in search of her, where I am yet again attacked by some sort of creepy creature. This time I stay to fight, and I kill it with a lawn chair, of all things.

      11/26/09

      1- Prince of Darkness
The village used to bea a peaceful, beautiful place, but then th ePrince of Darkness escaped fromt eh Land Under the Ground and took over. I am th eonly person remaining, forced to be a slave for the Dark Prince. He looks like an overgrown slug, and darkness is his aura.

I sneak out of the village and find a large bird that looks like a tree. It tells me that its name is Multrite, and that it is my only hope. But it is dying, and it leaves a baby bird hidden somewhere in the forest.

I go back to the village, and the Prince is waiting. He is furious that I left without permission, so he sends me out to the railway with the dogs as punishment. As we are walking, I ask Alpha (the doberman from UP) if he had ever heard of Multrite. He tells me that he hasn't.

We go to the tunnel of the railway to speak to a consort of the Prince. This is the only perso n whom the Prince seems to respect. While the dogs confer with him, I decide to talk to The Tiger (my only friend in the village) about Multrite. I am certain he will have information.

      2- Assassin's Lament
I am an assassin, and I have just killed a whole bunch of people. I walk to the edge of a cliff, wishing I could jump off rather than kill more people.

      3- Unholy Sanctity
My mom takes us to a Church service which is being led by my cousin. It is taking place in an old Western town. Everyone cracks an egg into a cauldron full of boiling water, then drop a voodoo doll inside. They start laughing like maniacs. I am completely taken aback by this display, and I wonder what has come over all of them.

I am sent on a quest to collect these special eggs from a laberynth. The maze is huge; there are several cities within it. The whole point is to eventually find a one-of-a-kind egg called the Embryo. ((Shugo Chara reference.)) Helping me on the quest is a biped werewolf who does not seem to have a human form.

As we are collecting the eggs, we realize that they each have a fortune inside of them. These are more important than the eggs themselves, so we just crack the eggs and take the fortunes along with us. One of them says that I will eventually lead the Vampires to victory against the Werewolves. Enraged, my werewolf friend begins to attack me, but I manage to explain that I would never do something like that, because I hate the Vampires as much as he does. I figure that the fortune must be referring to something a bit more cryptic, because I would never betray the 'wolves. He calms down and we continue on our way.

After a while, we pass by some werewolf slayers, and I hide my friend from them and force him to stay in the woods so he will not get killed. I go back and collect some more of the fortunes, and read one that says the werewolf will save me from danger on the road. As I am heading back to find him, I am assaulted by two passersby. At first I think the werewolf will rescue me, but then I become lucid and decide I'd rather take matters into my own hands. I fight with them for a while, and although no damage is dealt I manage to chase them off.

I then lose lucidity and begin to howl. The werewolf howls back and I manage to find him somewhere within the forest. We eventually come upon an old abandoned church and hide out there for a while to read the fortunes we have collected.

I am walking down the road when a loud warning alarm goes off. I think it means that there's going to be a bomb or some type of explosion, so I start to run for shelter. It then occurs to me that something evil must be chasing me. I keep running, and nothing comes. I realize that this is simply because I don't know what's after me, and that I must be dreaming.

I keep running anyway, trying to decide what's chasing me so it will actually appear. I briefly consider wolves, and I see large wolves quickly gaining on me. I then change my mind and they disappear.

I am no longer on the main road, but on a dirt road that has been cleared through a forest. There are a lot of even smaller paths coming off of it, but I decide to keep going straight. I eventually come upon two construction workers who are talking to each other rather than working. "Get outta the way!" I yell, and jump over their heads onto one of the side paths.

The path eventually takes me to a farm, where two men are having a brutal fistfight. I break them up, and as a reward I am shown around the farm. The farmer shows me that he keeps goats and miniature unicorns. He informs me that some of them can talk. One of the unicorns approaches me and I start petting her. Then I suddenly think better of it. "It's okay if I pet you, right?" I ask.

      "Of course," she replies.

I start petting her again. "Wow, your fur is so soft!"

"That's because I take such good care of my mane."

((At this point I somehow poke myself in the eye IRL and wake up.))

      2- I'm Not a Guy
I am a guy rayher than myself, and I need to write down the dream I just had. I locate a talking pencil on my floor which is trying to hide from me. I then write my dream down.

The unicorn come into my room, but she turns into a human girl of about 16. She lays down on my bed beside me and we start to talk, and she precedes to fall in love with me. At first I think I return the feelings, but then I snap out of it and
realize that I'm not a guy. It is extremely difficult to convince her of this fact, however.

      3- Meeting with Madame Trelawny
I start the dream as myself, in a huge library. As I start to look around, I suddenly take on the role of Harry Potter. Madame Trelawny finds me and says she needs to see me in her office about something. I am a bit uncomfortable about this, because apparently she is sexually attracted to me even though I keep trying to allude to her that I'm not interested. ((What the heck!?))

I go into her office, and she points to a door and tells me to go in. "I'll be with you in a minute," she says sweetly, giving me the creeps, when I pass her to go into the room, she smacks me on the butt and runs off. Deeply irritated and EXTREMELY creeped out, I go into the room and plan to tell her to stay the heck away from me as soon as she comes back.

But instead, she gives me some really good information about Voldemort which makes me forget about telling her off.

((The weirdness factor of my dreams has definitely skyrocketed over the past few nights.))

I am standing on the side of the highway talking to my parents during a storm, when I notice a gargantuan black tornado on the horizon, growing closer with each heartbeat. My parents continue to talk as I try to get their attention. Finally my dad cuts himself off and says, "What is that noise? It sounds like a freight train!"

"Hm," I say, pondering sarcastically, "Maybe it's that GIANT TORNADO HEADED RIGHT TOWARDS US!!!" It is now only about half a mile away, and growing closer still. I am about to run when I do a nose-pinch RC just for the heck of it, not really thinking that it's a dream. But I can breathe... What the heck? I do it several more times and conclude
I'm dreaming. I take flight, but my parents warn me against it and I instantly see why. The wind from the tornado throws me around, making a controlled flight impossible. I make it back to the ground and decide to walk until the storm ends.

As I am headed down the road, it gets darker. Whenever a car goes by I can see because of its headlights, but then it gets dark again. Finally I think, "I really need some light or I'm going to lose lucidity." I instantly hve a brilliant idea. I hold out one finger and say, "Lumos," (which is the light spell from Harry Potter) and a bright blue light appears on my fingertip. I laugh in triumph. "Well, that's convienient!"

I continue down the road, using my finger to light the way. Eventually my vision gets weird and the dream fades.

2- Humans, the Energy Source of the Future
I have just come home from somewhere important, and I go off into the woods behind my house. Suddenly I feel a vile prescence and a dementor appears. ((I've been reading too much Harry Potter lately. I want to read the whole series before I see the rest of the movies.)) I instantly hold out my hand and shout, "Expecto Patronum!" It works, but just barely. I only seem to stun the dementor enough to be able to run away.

I go back to my house and my mom tells me to drive to the store to get something. This makes me nervous, because I am a horrible driver, but I comply and go to the car. Somehow, the gas and the brakes are in the margin between the drivers seat and the passenger's seat, so I have to twist my leg at an odd angle to reach them. I make it to the store and back without much of a problem, but I did have several close calls. Especially due to the fact that something evis is after me.

When I get back, I learn that the dementors have eaten the souls of my parents, leaving them as lifeless shells. I am trapped in my room with a dementor, a half-crazed werewolf, and someone who is actually somewhat sane (compared to the others, at least). I am armed with a pencil which I use as a makeshift wand. Whenever the dementor comes near me, I use the Expecto Patronum spell to keep it away. I use this on the werewolf as well, though it is not nearly as effective.

The lady is getting angry that I am puttin up such a resistance. She slowly and maliciously pulls out a sharp knife, coming towards me. I rack my brain for a good spell, then shout out, "Expelliarmus!" The knife goes flying out of her hand across the room. She angrily comes at me again, now with the intent of strangling me. I say the first thing that comes to my mind. "Riddikulus!"

She stops and gives me a sarcastic smile. "What good will that do? Laugh me to death?" I am then taken to a large machine, where they show me what is going on. Apparently, the human souls and all their experiences/memories are inserted into the machine, which will run the world for the alien robots which have apparently invaded. The memories, etc. are divided up into different parts of the machine. For instance, memories of driving a car would be used to transport the aliens from place to place.

They take me back to my house and continue to try to take my soul, but I put up a good fight. They never manage to get my soul, but I never manage to escape, either.

I rebury it, but the patch of dirt doesn't blend in with the rest of the ground, and I don't want my brother digging it back up out of curiosity. Someone I am with (that looks a lot like Simon Baker) points his wand at the ground and yells, "Summersand!" Nothing happens. He sheepishly explains that it was a very complex spell, and that he isn't powerful enough to cast it.

"Maybe I could try?" I ask. He shrugs, so I point my wand at the spot where my heart is burried and say, "Summersand!" Some "sand" starts to form all over the ground, though it looks more like styrofoam. Some styrofoam palm trees also form. I have to continually guide the stuff to spread out with my mind, though, or else it willl start to wither. Finally I can't hold it anymore and it withers away. But the spot where I'd been digging did look like it blended in slightly better.

"Very impressive," the guy said, nodding and giving me a pat on the shoulder.

A bit later Shelby informs me that school is starting up, and that we need to head over there before we're late. What? But I don't even have my schedule yet. I haven't gotten any supplies...
Duh, I'm dreaming. ((Isn't it odd how all that abnormal stuff was happening, yet I become lucid from something much more mundane?))

I inform Shelby that there's no point in going to school, because it is all a dream. She looks doubtful but doesn't argue. I walk up through my back yard with her, and someone who resembles the lady from The Devil Wears Prada says a lot of hurtful things to Shelby, then stalks off to the front yard. I decide to have a little fun, so I sneak to the edge of the house and try to use a levatating spell to send a golf ball flying into her head. It doesn't work, and after a bit of trying I decide it's not going to.

Later I am telling my brother that it is a dream, and I think it would be cool if this were really him and not another DC so that we could say we had a shared dream.

I am about to take flight, but something happens and I wake up.

      2- Competitive
Someone challenges me and another person to see who can collect the most muskadines. The person I am competing against won't even let me pick any, so I travel to all different locations (I can see myself on a map!) to get them. End the end, though, I only get ten, so I lose miserably.

Eventually someone else sees it too, so I know I am not just imagining things. I somehow find out that it is a type of ghost, and I end up absorbing it's energy into my MP3 player.

Later, I am running with my brother late at night along the side of the road when it starts to rain. We take shelter underneath a bridge. It feels really cool being under there with cars speeding past and rain clouding the air. Suddenly some cops show up and jump out of their cars, about to arrest us. Stevie takes off, but I have the feeling that they think we're squatters, and I want to explain that we're just taking shelter from the rain.

Instead, one of them grabs me and says, "You are under arrest for the murder of ((name I cannot remember))." I am about to protest that I haven't murdered anyone, when
I suddenly realize I'm dreaming. Finally, I think, a dream that's not boring. This should be fun.

The cop drags me to the station house, and as soon as we get there I break free and make a run for it. I am doing flying jump kicks into the cops' heads and punching them fiercely, and although they cannot get a grip on me I am doing no damage to them whatsoever
. ((Can't remember what happened after that, but there was more.))

      2- Little Kiza
I am talking to a little kid who happens to be Kiza from the past. He is already on DV with another account, and I am giving him advice on how to seem like he meets the age requirements. He is a short, red-headed 7-8 year old who is missing his two front teeth. ((Awww!))

      3- Trek to Ohio
I am trying to take a shower, but it is not working out very well. It is way too small, and I can barely move.

Later, we have to go to Ohio for some reason, but we can't take any vehicles. My mom is leading my brother and I along the road, asking me to guess which direction we should go in. I point out one road, and she says it's getting too dark to go that way, because it leads to a bad neighborhood. Instead, she takes us to the railroad tracks and tells us we just have to follow them.

As we walk along the tracks, I say, "What if a train comes?"

"It's too late for trains to travel," she says.

Just as she says this, a train is suddenly headed right towards us, and another is coming from a place where the tracks split. "Well that's ironic." I say, doing my best to side step the danger. This seems like something that would happen in a dream," I remark offhandedly.

We make it past the trains and
      ((I remember nothing afterwards.))

      1- Blown Away
I am walking through a city with several people, when tornadoes begin spawning everywhere. I watch in amusement as they come closer, wondering what it would feel like if I actually let them hit me this time. They sweep over me, blowing me around a bit. It is actually a very pleasant feeling.

We keep walking (I'm no longer lucid) and come across the hotel of someone we apparently know. We think he may be dead, but suddenly a man in his late 40's with crazy brown hair steps out of the hotel and sees us. He clearly wishes we weren't there , but we need him to give us a ride.

"Hey, we though you'd been swept away by the tornadoes!" one of my companions says happily.

((I wake up a while later, successfully FILDing.))

      2- Face-off with Count Dooku
I feel myself enter the dream and manage to get my eyes open. It's still really dark, so I turn on a light and look at my hands to stabilize the dream. The first thing that comes to my mind is the advanced challenge on DV, which is to fight one of the sith. First, I need a light saber. It is really cold inside my house, so I consider putting on a jacket. I decide that probably won't help, so I go outside to find something that can be turned into a light saber. Outside, it is really warm.

I find a stick near the edge of my yard while my brother tags along. I think about our dreamshare project, but decide that I'd rather do the task. I get the stick and, after a bit of concentration, manage to turn it into a red light saber. Now for the fun part. "Count Dooku! I summon you!" ((Not sure why I said "I summon you," it just seemed appropriate at the time.)) I see a flash of robes behind me, but when I whirl around, nothing is there. After sesveral moments of looking around, he suddenly appears beside me, laughing evilly. We start fighting, and I barely dodge as he lunges and almost impales me through my stomach.

After a bit of fighting, both of our light sabers suddenly flicker out. "Hey what happened!?" I exclaim.

He looks annoyed. "The batteries died."

"What!? But these things don't run on batteries!"

Apparently they do. We go in and change the batteries, but he grows bored of fighting me and quits.

I was in my friend Jake's car sitting in the back seat. My other friend was sitting in the passenger side seat writing in a journal. I look over and notice he's is writing about lucid dreaming! I told him, "Hey, you in to lucid dreaming now?" He replied, "Not really. Just writing a dream i had where i could control stuff."
"Oh, okay" i replied, a little disappointed. The part that was fail was, I didn't become lucid.
I was so angry with myself when i woke up, and more annoyed when it was the only dream i could remember from that night.

      It was my first LD

I was walking around in a building of some sort and i suddenly realized with no reason whatsoever, that I was dreaming! I tried not to get to excited since I remember I might wake up, but I didn't stabilize it at all. Instead I immediately tried to fly and floated a few feet above the ground until falling back down. (The rest is pretty fuzzy and I'm pretty sure i lost lucidity. I didn't write the rest down (stupid me!) but i still remember that first part)

      5/21/10 - Theatre
      Dream Non-dream Lucid

I was with my friends Hannah and Mary and some huge, expensive-looking theatre. We were waiting in the entrance hall, which was bigger than my house, and from what I could see the entire building was constructed of marble. There was a huge crowd of people waiting with us for a colossal set of doors to open, so that we may be seated for the upcoming performance. Somehow I was lucid. I turned to Mary and informed her of this. "I know that already," she told me. "We planned to meet here, remember?"

Mary and I made numerous reality checks while Hannah just stood around. I really wanted to go off and explore, but I decided to wait with my friends since they'd bothered to meet me in the dream.

Sadly, I woke up before anything interesting could happen.

I should've realized that Mary and Hannah were DC's and gone exploring like I'd wanted.

    14. Learning to fly again (lucid)

by , 02-05-2008 at 06:00 AM (Visions in the Dark)
I cannot remember much from the beginning of the dream and what little I recall is kind of fuzzy. Everything is coloured in shades of dark blue and black. The setting is inside a small village where the buildings are all made of wood and the entire area is surrounded by a stone wall. There is one large building in the cener of the village that looks like a warehouse and has no windows. I am exploring the villiage much like an RPG videogame and everything is in thrid person perspective. The transition from outside to inside (or vice versa) is like the survival horror game Resident Evil where everything turns black, except for the door, which slowly opens and you then advance through in first person perspective before returning to third person perspective on the other side.

I am moving through some wooded gates and doors, heading towards the large building in the center of the villiage. Whenever I see a cabinent or desk in a room or hall, I open it and search for items. I don't recall finding anything of interest before entering the large building. When I pass through the last door that will take me inside, the blue and black colouring of the dream dissapears and normal colours return, though it is still dark inside the building. Directly in front of me I can see metal frame bunk beds scattered about. There are lumps in some of the beds but it is too dark to tell if it is people or just a bunch of pillows and blankets. The bunk beds are scattered in a disorderly fashion across the floor and not in neat rows. There are a few beds that do not have a bunk and seem to have white hand knit woolen blankets on them.

I walk towards the back of the room because I can see a row of cabinets in the dim light. As I approach them the room slowly begins to get brighter, as the row of florescent lights on the ceiling high above seem to slowly turn on. As I pass by the metal bunk beds, more and more of them become single non-bunk beds and their placement on the floor becomes more straight and orderly. It becomes bright enough in the room that I can see some young adults in some of the beds, while others remain empty. All of the beds have the white hand-knit woolen blankets now.

At the row of cabinets on the back wall I find some objects when I search them. In the first I find a little glass vial filled with a clear liquid. There is a white label on the side but absolutely no writing on it. I put it away in my bag and a few cabinets down I find a syringe filled with a translucent redish brown liquid that still has the bright red safety cap over the needle. This item also has a white label on the side and is blank except for a scribble in hand writting in blue ink. The writting is two words and appears to be water damaged and faded. I cannot recall now what it said though I am sure that I could read it in the dream.

I hear people talking behind me and to the left. I turn and see a row of desks with many older teens and young adults sitting at them. To their left is a chalkboard, to their right are the misarranged bunk beds and an elderly man with wild frizzy white hair and in grey clothing is standing in front of the students, pointing to something on the wall in front of them. I put the syringe in the bag and walk over to see what they are doing. As I approach them the lights come fully on and everything is bright and washed in florescent ambience.

The elderly man turns and smiles at me and I think he looks a lot like Albert Einstein. He doesn't say it but I get the feeling that he was expecting me. There is something about him that feels "mystical" to me, though there is nothing about his outward, physical appearence that would suggest there is anything special about him. I do not know how to explain it; he was just giving off these warm, positive vibes that grew stronger the closer I was too him. The students in the desks all looked up at me and seemed to be expecting something. I looked back and forth from them to Albert in confusion, before the elderly man asked me: "Are you ready?"

I have no any idea what he means, but I say yes anyway. Albert asked me to give him my bag, saying that I did not need it anymore. When I did so it felt as a great weight had been lifted from my metaphysical body (if that makes any sense). Albert moved to the chalk board on the left side of the room and said to his students that I could show them how to fly because I used to do it all the time.

I became lucid because I realized what he was talking about (in dreams in childhood I used to fly all the time), but protested that I could not fly anymore and had not done so for years. I cannot remember what he said next but it was something about making the air below me solid like the ground. I closed my eyes and imagined an invisible platform below my feet lifting me into the air. There was a loud "crack" and a dull sensation shot from the top of my skull and down my neck as something hard hit my head. I thought for a moment that Albert had smacked my with his pointer, but when I opened my eyes I realized that I had floated up above the classroom and smacked my head on the ceiling. I was excited but also kind of anxious and scared because I felt stuck and did not know how to come down. Albert told me to do exactly what I had done to lift myself up, except in reverse. I closed my eyes and imagined a ball of light above my head and shoulders that was heavy enough to push me downwards.

When my feet touched the floor and I opened my eyes Albert asked me to hover. He said "It's easy. Use the Force." I imagined what the Force (from Star Wars) was like in my own mind, and "felt" the space between the walls, the floor, the ceiling, everything in the room and myself. When I did so, hovering was damn easy. I wanted to show off and fly across the room above the students heads but...

...the darn telephone rang and woke me up! D'oh!!! Stupid telemarketers! Who was that old guy? A dream guide? Or just a random figment of my subconscious? I really have no idea, but man, what a trip!
    15. Dream house stripped bare (lucid)

by , 01-08-2008 at 06:00 AM (Visions in the Dark)
For many years a particular house has appeared in my dreams. It does not look like any house I know in waking life, yet it looks the same whenever I dream about it, which is approximately every two or three years since childhood. In all dreams previous, the house was full of furniture and appliances and looked as if it has recently been lived in, but empty of people. This dream is slightly different though because, while still abandoned, most of the furniture and appliances were removed, much of the plaster on the walls had been knocked out and the electrical wires, insulation and wooden supports were showing.

The house sits at the bottom of a hill, close to water on a bay on an unnamed lake. The bay is choked with docks and boats and only narrow passages lead to open water. The area around the house is hilly and full of large houses, many of which have wooden stairs and walkways leading down to the dock. My dream house itself consists of three levels and a basement, and a secret staircase and room that connects the first and third floors. The outside is white clapboard and the roof is light grey shingles. Each floor of the house is long and narrow with low ceilings and all of the windows throughout are small and do not let in much light. The first floor consists of the kitchen, living room and a sewing room. The second floor has a large den, a bathroom and two bedrooms. The third floor is an open space, like an attic, and is always a toyroom in the dream. The basement has a bedroom, a bathroom, a large den, a tool room and a laundry room to the rear.

I do not remember the beginning of the dream, or entering the house, but I find myself in the laundry room in the basement, and though it is stripped bare of any living comforts, I immediately recognize the place where I am. Despite just coming to awareness in the basement, I know that I am the only one in the house. Because it is a place I know I only ever see in my dreams, I become lucid. I do not try to force any control over the dream and am content to explore the house because I am curious as to why it seems empty except for the outer walls.

The first thing I notice is that the ceiling seems higher than normal and the windows far out of reach overhead. Actually everything about the laundry room seems oversized. I feel that everything is as a child would see it, though I appear at my current age in the dream. The next thing I notice is that the pipes that once connected to the washer is still pumping out water. The hose from which the water is gushing pours into a bucket on what looks like the burnt out shell of the dryer. The bucket is leaning slightly towards the back wall and is overflowing onto a slanted, beveled concrete trough which directs the water to a drain that carries the water under the house and out to the lake. I also notice at this point that the lights are still on.

I walk into the next room which also seems oversized, though mostly everything but the counters and wooden supports are gone. I walk towards the hall which leads to the den, but the lights are out and I cannot see where the doorway is. I stretch my arm forward and fumble in the dimly lit hall for the light switch but end up almost sticking my finger in an uncovered electrical socket. I eventually find the two switches for the lights for the large den area on the wooded support to my right and flick them on. When I enter the den I look up and it seems that the ceiling is three or four storeys high. It is only when I look towards the eastern wall that I realize why - I can see the secret stairs and room in its entirety. All of the floors up the the third have been completely removed, expect for the secret passage embedded in the eastern wall. There is no indication that there were any floors above, no debris or any indication of demolition whatsoever, except that I recognize the placement of the windows which correspond to the layout of each floor as I remember it.

I can see the ochre coloured furniture in the secret room that has always been there, and except for the wall that usually hides the secret room and stairs being missing, everything else looks the same. The furniture is Victorian era style and there are many black and white photographs pinned to the far wall. There is even the single white candle burning on the small mahogany end table which is the only source of illumination for the narrow, windowless room. I am excited that the secret room is the same, and want to go to it, but the entrance to the lower secret stairs is only accessable by the main floor of the house, which is now missing. I start walking towards the easten wall anyway and trip over a pile of toys and clothing and various household items that I did not see until now. I recognize some of the toys as items that used to be in the toyroom on the third floor and pick up some for a closer look.

I walk over to a black waist high bookcase and find several multicoloured and metallic dinky cars which I recognize from waking life which used to belong to my brother, though in the dream I thought to myself that they belonged to my cousin Keelan. I also found an black and silver flashlight that I used to own years ago and when I switched it on the beam was dim and fading. At the same time an LCD flashlight rolled off of one of the bookshelf ledged and right into my hand. Also at the same time the row of basement lights on the western wall beging to flick on and off seemingly by themselves. I stand up and walk into the middle of the room, trying to see down the north hall in case anyone is there, but I can see no one and both rows of lights on the western and easten wall flicker a few times and go out. It is dark outside so the many windows provide no illumination and it is completely pitch black in the house, save for the small candle in the secret room, though it obviously does not provide much light. I attempt some dream control by saying "lights on" and try to will it to happen, but nothing does. I can hear thumping above me, as if the main floor still exists and someone is walking back and forth across it. I start to feel scared, but the knowledge that I am in a dream does not fade. I also remind myself that I do not believe in ghosts and there really is no reason to be scared because it is only a dream. The thumping continues and though I cannot see anything, I feel the "presence" of something in the hall by the light switches. The terror in me grows, but so does anger and I scream at the invisible presence "TURN THE LIGHTS BACK ON RIGHT NOW!"

There is no answer and I stand in the dark for a short time before the terror overwhelms me and I awake in a cold sweat. Or maybe I willed myself awake? I can't remember now.
