    1. Terrific night!

      Non-dream | Dream | Becoming aware

For the first time in a few months, I've tried lucid dreaming, using Puffin's DILD tutorial. And it worked! I had a lucid dream the very first time I tried this technique. Haven't had one for a long time.

Furthermore I recalled four dreams. Wow!

I'm looking through the window of an apartment; not mine. I see a crossroads, which is about one block down my real house. I see two buses: one is the bus from the line 21 and the other was 15. On the 21 bus, my friends are standing at the top of the roof and they're partying like mad. A few seconds later, I'm inside the 15 bus with some friends and we're going to the pharmacy one block above. We must somehow secure it. The dream then fades away.

I'm spawning in a little village through a teleporter. There's a house near me and one person outside. I'm with a friend. The landscape is quite MMORPG-alike, so there's a small road passing through a grass field. So we start walking down the road and there's an old sorcerer who starts talking to us, she's giving us a quest or something like that. We continue on and we get killed by two dragons (I could see name tags below them... just as in Guild Wars) and their troops. We respawn at the village and I'm with my brother. We see a plane doing aerobatics on the other side of the village. It then comes to our side, and all of a sudden night appears. The plane crashes down my feet... but in water! And I'm falling down as well in the water. It can "surf" on water. By the time day has appeared, we've retaken the road and we get to an alley. Transition to the second part of this dream!

So we walk down this alley. It's leading us to a luxurious 17th or 18th century hotel, high of a few storeys. There's the hotel courtyard just in front of it, about the size of my small high-school courtyard IRL. Suddendly, all my friends appear as well as a homeless and jobless dude. He's drinking some wine. Anyway, I'm now sitting with my friends on the benches. The sorcerer comes back and gives us a potion for the homeless guy. She says: "Give him this to drink! It'll make him get a job!" So one of my friends pours almost all the potion in the dude's wine glass, who's thoroughly enjoying it, and I tell him to stop. "Come on, I've only poured five drops..." he says. Another friend confirms this. And the dream ends here.

      The interesting part now!

I'm a school with a blonde, small guy friend I'd never seen before. Now I'm recalling the dream, he looks like a mix of two friends who left the school a few years back. We laugh at some girls and walk our way to the exit of the school for lunch time. At the door of the school, he says he's gonna wait for someone, so I leave him and I get out. I turn left, and then there's a fly annoying me. So, weirdly, I'm starting to rap terribly against it... A few steps away from my house, I look down. I'm wearing a sports jacket and Adidas white shorts. I never dress up like that. I enter in my apartment and I see that the caretaker is now a Pakistanese-looking guy. I suddendly stop and ask myself: "Am I dreaming?" I pinch my nose and feel my breath flowing normally. I'm dreaming! So I look at my surroundings and try NOT to think about me in my bed. Unfortunately I'm so excited I wake up.

Could have been better but hey! Still happy I was lucid the first time I was trying for months, and I recalled a lot of dreams. I had already been lucid but there's always the same problem: excitement. I'll try to control myself next time.

    3. Notes

by , 10-27-2011 at 11:10 PM (The Stories of my Dreaming Mind)
I found it interesting how that first WILD came to be. I think it must've been the universe giving me a perfect fool-proof opportunity and me taking it: I wake up from a vivid dream that I need to write down. Writing it takes about 10 minutes, and I am awake just the right amount, then try to WILD, get there in just 5 minutes, and have the most amazing, most vivid dream, let alone a lucid dream, I have ever had EVER.

I also found it very interesting that the imaginations I had in this vivid dream actually weren't as vivid as the physical reality of the dream as most other dreams are. Meaning I need to fix my theory:
The theory now is that depending on how vivid and conscious you are in the dream, your imagination's vividness will stay the same but feel like it varies because you compare it to the vividness of the dream reality. Otherwise, your mind works relatively similar to how it works in waking life. You translate the things around you. Waking physical life is just collections of vibrations and frequencies that your senses process in order for the mind to understand it, just as in dream reality where you translate the vibrations and frequencies around you. The realities are relatively the same, only that in dream reality you function at a higher level because you know you can do anything.

Another Observation: Everyone in that lucid dream was watching me in awe throughout the whole thing, unless they had a specific function in the dream, such as driving or teaching, etc. They would react to things the way I would best want them to react to things. They love it when I talk about my theories and things I am excited about, because I love talking about my theories and things I am excited about. They do not act on their own, unless I subconsciously expect or want them to. The WILD really revealed to me how everything and everyone really is just a projection, and how I am the real being there in control.

If I were to compare that with something for better understanding, it's almost just like from Tron, where the programs have specific functions and can't think and plan, and where the users that come in can create, control, and do everything they please in this reality. The projections are lower than the user, and they know it. It's as if they look at me as a God, The dreamer of the dream they are involved in. You get what I'm saying? Very interesting. I would rant more, but that would take up this whole page because I'm just so ecstatic right now.
    4. 09/15/2011 - Fragments, "Friends 'til the End...and Then Some", "The Undead of Winter"

      Dream Fragment One
All I remember was that I was in a house that I thought was my own. I walked outside, and it was night time. Looking to one side, I noticed that the outside of the house was definitely not my house. For one brief moment, I realized that I had no idea where I was, and that this had to be a dream. Unfortunately, I woke up immediately after this realization.

      Dream Fragment Two
I was driving around, downtown somewhere, with MJ. We were just hanging out for a while, but I don't really remember too much that went on.

      Dream Three
"Friends 'til the End...and Then Some."

This was a really strange dream, and I'm not sure if I can remember the exact details, because it was kind of confusing. I was not actually a participant in this dream. I just seemed to be watching it. Apparently, there were two middle-aged women, who were extremely close friends. One of them - a brunette - really reminded of Rosanne Arnold. The other woman - blonde - was being abused by some deadbeat dude, and ended up getting critically injured by him. (I don't believe she died, though.) Later, her friend had done something to the man, in order to get revenge. I can't remember what it was, but she definitely put him in his place. She might have killed him. I'm not sure.

However, the twist came when the brunette woman was sitting in her home one night, and she picked up the phone to call her friend. My disembodied perspective came in on the conversation, as she was sitting on her bed and explaining to her friend about how she avenged her friend and 'got the bastard' that critically injured her. Suddenly, I could hear her friend on the phone. Her voice was filled with sorry, and it seemed so much more like she was talking to herself, rather than talking to the friend who was telling her about how she's gotten the man back for what he'd done. I could hear the blonde's muffled voice through the phone, sobbing to herself about how much she misses her friend (the brunette), how she wishes she was still alive, and how she hated the man that killed her beloved friend.

The brunette was visibly shocked by this. She called into the phone "hello?? hello??!", trying to get clarification, but it seemed that her blonde friend couldn't hear her. It was if the phone call was not actually happening, and she was just somehow listening to her blonde friend talking to herself. Then, the brunette began to piece together what was going on, and my perspective followed her recollection as if it were a movie flashback. It showed that the brunette was actually the one who was attacked by the man in question. I saw a quick flash of her getting struck down by him, and then another flash of a funeral service. The brunette woman was in an open casket, and her blonde friend was standing nearby. My perspective then switched back to the brunette, in her room, still clutching the phone. The realization came to her (and me, of course), that she was the one who had been killed, and that everything that had happened after her death (killing the man, talking on the phone to her friend) was all just fabrications of the afterlife that came with her apparent inability to accept the fact that she had died. My recollection of the dream faded as the woman was just sitting on the bed with the look of complete shock on her face, trying to make sense of just what the hell happened to her.

      Dream Fragment Four
I was laying on a couch. On the couch with me was the brunette from the previous dream. The blonde was sitting on a nearby loveseat. Having no idea that I was still dreaming, I was explaining the previous dream to the two of them, as if they were my waking world friends. They listened intently, while I recounted all the details.

      Dream Five
      "The Undead of Winter"

(Another crazy one, and I have the feeling I'm missing a lot that went on, before my initial recollection of the dream begins.)

I was in an enormous mansion, along with some friends. The first thing I remember is that we had done something we weren't supposed to do, and ended up unleashing a horde of zombies from deep within the mansion. Once they were unleashed, they just began streaming out of every door and hallway, in absolutely insane numbers. We all ran for our lives, trying not to get lost in the building. I remember the final stretch of hallway, leading toward the exit, and ducking and dodging all of the flailing, undead arms that were reaching out for us as we passed.

When we finally made it outside, we found ourselves in a snow-white clearing. It looked like this mansion was secluded out in the Alps, or something, with the tundra-like setting all around us. The zombies continued to flood out of the mansion by the thousands, and we had something of a stand-off, out here, because it seemed like all directions were blocked by impassable landscape. I remember having some sort of contraption in my pocket that helped point me out to where any potential weapons were. However, with the zombies beginning to box us in, there was no way that I could get to any of them. They eventually closed in on us, and I remember dying at least once.

Before I knew it, I was back inside the mansion. We had just accidentally set the zombies free (again), and they were filling the mansion again, while we made our second escape. With some awareness of what had happened, the first time, I pulled out my 'weapon-finder' much earlier, on this second run. As soon as I exited the mansion, I took a sharp right and dashed toward a crowbar that the gadget had directed me to. I picked it up and began bludgeoning the creatures back, as best I could. There were far too many of them, though, and they just kept on coming. We continued to be pushed back to the rough terrain, as we had before, but we somehow figured out that these zombies only advanced on us when we were looking at them, and whenever we would turn our eyes from them, they would either freeze up, or wander about aimlessly. (I also remember something about music being involved, and how music being played also caught them to wonder around at random, instead of toward us. It all felt like a zombie-apocalypse game I tried out the other day on the PC, where the zombies wouldn't come close to you, unless you were moving around and drawing attention to yourself, but a little different. Can't remember the name of the game, though.)

Using this knowledge of how to stun them to our advantage, the last thing I remember is our group working together to stun them and toss grenades into the fray, when there were enough of them in a single spot to maximize damage to the horde. However, we knew that we just did not have enough resources to take them out, and they continued to stream out of the mansion in numbers that didn't seem to show any signs of dwindling.
    5. Possible Dream Guide acting as Lain.

      by , 09-23-2011 at 05:19 PM
For a long time I've stopped having LD's, or at least not big enough for me to remember or write them down. But yesterday and today I had one of the most exciting LD's in my Journal, resulting from the A.D.A practice that I decided to try. All of them occurred between 11h00am and 12h00pm after waking up for a bit and then going back to sleep. All I did was just concentrating that I would have an LD and would remember it, then it all went smooth with non violent vibrations or hipnogogic hallucinations. Inside the dream I was constantly touching and feeling things to help me focus (just like A.D.A), and also demande more focus to my conscious mind. This is the (very) resumed version of what happened:

      1st LD | 22 September | Between 11h00 am -12h00pm

Almost immediately after entering the LD, I see a girl just looking like Lain Iwakura staring at me. She offered herself to help me out around the oniric world, and so we started to walk between dreams talking. She was going to take me somewhere, but we had to be careful, because my unconscious knew that she and her friends were trying to help me. So, each time we stopped for a moment, we sealed shut all the doors with bricks or new walls, just by concentrating on that idea. But it wouldn't las long, as DC's would transform them to doors again, exposing us.

At one time, we got separated and the dream caught me, re-creating another scenario completely different. I just started to practice A.D.A inside the dream to force myself not to wake up. The action occurred with friends and family doing something I can't remember and all I was trying to do was find Lain. I've managed to comunicate with her and she texted me, saying someone would come for me. And so they did.

A girl grabbed me and took me away from that scenario, immediatly we crossed a door and were in a corridor. I touched her hands and hair to continue the A.D.A because I was feeling I would wake up soon. We entered a room and there she was, sitting on a table, next to the girl who went back for me and another guy. Finally we got time to talk:

      - Lain, what's the oniric world?!
      - It's the same as a woman going shopping or riding a car.
      - Are you saying it's the same as the physical world?
      - Both realities walk side by side, but in the end only one prevails.
      - What do you mean by that? They affect each other mutually?
      - The oniric reality is an output.

      and then I woke up.
      2nd LD | 23 September | Between 11h00 am -12h00pm [actually it was a sequence of 3 mini-LD's]

As I entered the dream, I saw Lain in a living room. I tried to talk to her but she avoided me... something was wrong. She didn't want me close and she was shapeshifting into different versions of her. All of them were semi-transparent. I had to figure out what was happening, I really wanted her to continue the conversation from the previous LD.

The dream swapped to a big hotel hall, with big windows showing a complex metropolis at night. She was standing with a small group. I've watched as I understood what was happening. They all been captured by security guards dressed in suits and were preparing to take them somewhere. Suddenly I was surprised by one of the guards, and got caught also.

I don't remember how, but we managed to escape. We scattered through the streets and corridors, trying to not be caught again. Not knowing where everybody was, I enter a shopping mall taking refuge between the crowd that is watching the premiere in a big screen, of a new anime movie. The show is violent as hell, and even a lady goes away protecting the eyes of her baby son. I decide to continue since the guards are getting near.

I'm in my bed, a TV set is showing some static and in the middle of it I see Lain's face staring at me. Everything feels as real as it could get. I doubt for a minute if I'm inside a dream. I'm afraid of just being groggy and hurt myself trying to do something stupid like jumping out of the balcony. I go to the kitchen, where everything is normal, but something is wrong on the living room - "Lain?" - I ask as I see a girl looking through the window. It isn't her. It's another girl, with glasses, and she looks mad at me - "Just because your dream guide has the shape of Lain, it doesn't mean that it is always her! It can transform into everything! Stop looking for her! It's enough!" - she pushes me into the wall, I fall on the ground while she runs away. I let myself stay on the ground for a while. Once again things feel wrong. I sit and try to meditate a bit, even pronouncing the Om mantra. I got carried away as I notice that the mantra sound actually is affecting the objects around me. I decide to catch the girl and talk to her. Stopping for a minute at the window, concentrating in transforming my clothes since I was still in pajamas, I jump from it and start running around the corner for the girl that attacked me.

I run into an underground passage between buildings that I start to recognize. Some techno music far in front tells me I'm arriving at the right place. I open a big metal door and enter a loud dark noisy disco, with just dim blue lights illuminating the place. I immediately spotted the girl that attacked me walking near Lain - "You've come! I knew you would!" - she seems happy and relieved to finally meet me again without any interruptions - "Welcome back!" - she holds a drink and I take one from the waitress. I sit nervously, since I start to feel that I will wake up soon. I insist on the same questions I asked her in the first LD were we met, but she smiles and says - "That's not what you want to know... you really want to know how many of you are here and..." - I start to feel that I'm loosing control from the dream and I'm waking up. I drink the full glass - "Hey! That's to drink slowly!" - she says surprised - "I can't, I have to prevent myself to wake up!" - "To late" - the waitress says - "That's not how it works..." - and I wake up.

    6. My first lucid dream

      by , 09-16-2011 at 05:59 PM
I just had a lucid dream about an hour ago. And it was from RCing with my watch. I woke up at 5:00 or 5:30 and remembered just 2 dreams, did not try very hard. They could have been the same.. Anyways, went to the bathroom and wrote them down. The did MILD as I was falling back asleep:
I said to myself that I will have a lucid dream and I will remember it and I will be aware in my dream and know its a dream over and over and over
Then thought of one of my dreams that I just woke up from and looked for the dream signs in it. And if I thought of any other scene I would think "this is a dream" and slowing go back to just telling myself I will have a lucid dream.
It took awhile, but finally fell back asleep. I'm hoping that this all might help out another newbie searching around on the forums. In the dream I saw my brother and thought "I see him in my dreams a lot, maybe I could RC everytime I see him". So I RCed and the seconds were messed up, I thought "no way". Everything was so real, I saw the sunlight on my arm and watch, and then I looked back at my watch and saw all the numbers were messed up. During the day, whenever I RC I try to truly and honestly consider whether I am dreaming and kinda imagine my watch messing up. Which I think really helped. Anyways, I thought "Now Isaac(my name), cool it, don't get too excited" and remembered to stabilize the dream its good to spin and go to a new scene. So I started spinning and closed my eyes and thought of my bathroom. Then I thought if I open them I might wake up in my bed, and I was not sure what to do, and kept spinning, then I smacked my hands on the counter in the bathroom just before opening my eyes and found myself in the bathroom. I looked in the mirror, did not see my reflection, did not want to try for fear of waking up and I saw the window was more square as apposed to rectangular in real life. I opened the door and looked out in to the hall way and thought of how real it looked. I walked out and into the dining room and thought "I gotta try flying and get outside!". So I went out the door, ignoring that it opened in the opposite direction its suppose to. I tried flying and thought "well wow this is dull and boring and not near as fun as I thought it would be" then I noticed I was still on the ground. So I ran around to the front yard and heard a radio and thought I was starting to wake up. Then my dad was walking towards me and I had a false awakening and thought I had slept walked to the front yard. As my dad was talking to me, I saw a black dot above a mound of hay or something and and wondered if it was a kittin, it was and it meowed and walked to me and it looked and sounded real. Another one and Miles(one of the older cats) came. Then I woke up for real.

Well hope I helped someone and thanks again guys for your replies. And I agree with Arch that WILD is not a good idea for, I think, newbies like me. Every time I tried, it did not work and I tried so many times.

    7. The First

      by , 09-14-2011 at 06:13 PM
It seems when I dream, the different dreams just come and go, so I'll skip to the one that contained lucidity.
I was in a hotel in a large, busy looking city (or at least that's what I saw from the window) along with my girlfriend, and a women who appeared to be a nurse, from maybe a 1940's era.No one was injured, so I still don't quite understand her presence in this. I had come to the conclusion that we had traveled back in time, and I was trying to figure out a way for me and my girlfriend to get back to our time. When i opened the door that was in the hotel room, it led to an identical room, and for some reason, I came to the conclusion that it would be possible to get back to "our time" if we back into this door. We did this, through many hotel doors, all of them taking us to identical rooms, but not taking us home. Eventually we stopped and took a break. We sat down, and I told the nurse that maybe if we went to sleep, me and my girlfriend would wake up in our own time. She then brought us milk and chocolate chip cookies and we began to slowly eat them at a small table in the hotel room. The setting of the hotel room was of a gorgeous Victorian era, that completely contradicting the setting of the polluted city outside the window. I had finished my cookies, stood up, and started walking to the window, and then I though to myself "How could we have traveled through so many hotel rooms, and seemingly end up where we were in the first place? How did we even time travel in the first place? Time travel isn't possible, I must be dreaming!" It was then that the floor beneath me began shaking, almost crumbling (Inception-like?). I remembered the things I had read online of how to stop myself from waking up from a dream, and I had rubbed my hands together and focused on the feeling of it. After everything re-stabilized, I ran to my girlfriend and told her of my realization. I guided her to the window with me, and as we walked past the bed, I noticed a crimson red comforter sprawled about on the bed. I thought to myself "That comforter is green" and then watched in amazement as, from the center of it to the edges, turned a dark green. We arrived at the window and I looked about at all the buildings that were a little tall, but not quite as tall as the one we were in, as we could easily see over them. We then noticed a car heading towards us, or rather the building we were in, with a speed that clearly said the driver had no intentions of stopping. They planned on crashing into the building. With a wave of my right hand, I had easily picked the car up and sent it flying into a distant part of the city, diagonally to the right. A man had then some how jumped from the ground level up the window seal and stood there starring into the room. He was wearing a leather jacket, with a black matching hat, and ripped up denim jeans. His face had cuts, all that was in his eyes were whites, and as he smiled grimly, it was easy to see he was missing teeth. He was easily comparable to a zombie. When he attempted to climb into the window, I waved my right hand and sent him flying in the same direction as the car was sent. My girlfriend had went back to the table to sit down, the nurse was straightening the bed up, and I had moved a few feet to the right of the window and was leaning against the wall. Some how a hog and climbed onto our window seal and had sneezed violently. I watched, in slow motion, as the snot traveled through the air, and hit the nurse in her back. I waved my hand, but nothing happened. I tried maybe two more times, but it wouldn't go away. I then closed my eyes and thought to myself "This is a dream. That isn't a hog, it's a small bunny." I opened my eyes to see that the hog had transformed into a small kitten, with a slightly large head, white fur with patches of black, and big green cat eyes. I picked it up, took it to my girlfriend and she said "it's so cute" in the voice she does whenever she see's something adorable. From there, I believe* I woke up, quite eagerly at the fact that I had had a lucid dream.

      * I say I "believe" I woke up, because I don't remember how the dream ended, or even exiting the dream.
    8. Lucid Dream #51

by , 09-12-2011 at 01:12 PM (Warbenifit156's Lucid Dreaming Adventures)
      Lucidity: 8/10
      Vividness: 8/10
      Length: ~3 Min.

I was staring at my door when I felt my body go numb, it felt like my body was moving on its own. Then I saw one of my friends walk across the door, there was lava behind her also, so I went through the door and followed her. There was a long passage way and I went outside, the sun was out. It was very bright, I remember doing something but I don't know what it was.
    9. Flying Through Paris

      by , 09-12-2011 at 06:23 AM
My dream begins with me feeling incredible emotions of jealousy because it is my birthday I think my boyfriend is expressing his attraction to one of my roommates. I become angry and leave everyone behind and find myself with another girl I've never seen before. At first I have negative feelings for her and I want to leave, but before I do she grabs me by the ankles and asks me not to go but to help her fly. So I take off, and this is when I become lucid, and I begin flying with her flying behind me holding onto my feet. At some point she detaches and I am only aware of my own flight. I'm going over a sunny outdoor cafe with bright green trees before me, and then I am flying over a river or large canal. I know in my mind that this is Paris, and after a while longer of flying I lose my lucidity. Strangely I did not awaken with any sense of euphoria, nor did I experience elation the past few times I had lucid dreams.
    10. First lucid dream!! Weird induction + dream share

      by , 09-03-2011 at 09:43 PM
It was unbelievable this morning when I realized I had successfully had my first Lucid Dream. I was ecstatic! I remember getting out of bed and just going 'YES!' Great moment indeed So How I got into the lucid dream was quite peculiar. I remember going to a house of some sort but not much of any details. I'm talking to a very spiritual person with my brother and he tells me he's going to help me lucid dream, right from inside that dream(but I didn't know THAT was a dream, it was confusing but I didn't check anything etc) so my brother and I lay down and next thing I know I'm in my very first lucid dream. I've known I was getting close lately because my dreams have been becoming more and more vivid and I was extremely excited when it finally happened in the dream, but not too excited, I knew I'd wake myself up if I got too excited. It was curiously stable. The reason I call this an odd induction is because whenever I think of going lucid I think reality checks, noticing weird details, etc. But this time I went directly from inside another dream to lucidity. So anyway in my lucid dream I was in a very nice, old looking circular room filled with people and furniture but really I didn't pay any attention to the details of the room, I wanted to do something great. I started remember a book I'd read on lucid dreaming, where people made familiar items appear in their hand, so I thought "I can do that" and thought really hard about this medium sized ball I'd gotten a long time ago and just recently found, and I pictured it in my pocket, I imagined details, weight, and next thing I knew I felt a bulge in my pocket and taking it out I found it to be my green ball! I experimented with the ball, making it appear and disappear at will. Eventually I decided to make the ball appear while I'm looking at it so I make 2 from my pocket and stare at my hand imagining a third and sure enough a third ball appeared in my hand! At this point I'm excited, almost too much so, because I think I woke up afterwards happy as ever. No flying, but not a bad first lucid dream.

Now, I also put dream share in the title because when I woke up, my twin brother told me how in his dream he was talking with me and a spiritual character that eventually put him into a lucid dream! A dream share, if you ask me. But he forgot what happened after that so there's no way to confirm it... so that's it, my first lucid dream.

      (DEILD)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Dream Fragment 1 - I was playing basketball at my old high school gym. I think it was also a high school reunion. I also remember talking to some people.

Dream Fragment 2 - I at my college. I remember walking around and going into a health clinic. It changes to a reunion with my old classmates from HS. One trying to arouse me by squeezing her boobs together while she was following me to the bathroom. I do a RC and it fails.
I get lucid for a while but the dream ends when i try to leave.

Full Dream 1 - I start off driving in a car at on a street near where i live. People on bicycles start to ride on my side of the road making them susceptible to getting hit by me. My car transforms into a motorcycle but i don't notice it. So I ride past these weird people on bicycles going past me. I ride home and go into my dad's store (i live in a apartment on top of the store). I go inside and see a old friend of mine. We talk and i say something that angers him a bit so he starts to pull my legs(literally). Some people pull him off me, he lets go and i go down the basement to my bike away. When i go back there's this old guy telling me that he had a bomb in his head and told me to save my brothers in the apartment upstairs. I run ouside with my keys in hand. The door to go in the apartment IRL has moved to back of the building. When i got to the door i had trouble putting the key in the key hole, I kept missing it for a few seconds. I run upstairs but it takes me to the roof. When i get their i see alot of doors with large sized room numbers on top of them. I look around but I can't seem to find. This seemed odd to me
then i suddenly got lucid. I Still try to find the door but I can't find the right one. After much struggle i hear a explosion. It's not as loud as i thought it would be but i still feel bad that i didn't make it time (I have very little skills with dream control, so I couldn't teleport or make a portal) but i knew it wasn't real. I walk up to the edge of the roof and see a very detailed view of city night life across a river. There was a bridge that looked like the george washington bridge to the left of me. I try to fly so i jump off the roof but my feet gets caught on the ledge so I fall off the roof. Good news is that I float to the bottom, but the bad news is that the dream ends.

DEILD - I wake up in my room but there are a lot of different things about it. There is a huge painting of a sunset, a tank poster and a picture of my brothers on the walls. I try to leave but the dreams ends immediately without anytime for stabilization.

NOTE: My recall takes off once again where I became lucid. I've had to sleep with only one blanket recently. It's one of the ones where the design makes it have holes on the whole thing. So I've been sleeping uncomfortably and my recall is shot.

I was outside my apartment right after becoming lucid. I have no clue how I did though. I saw a car and decided to drive it. I noticed I was to big for it though. Hm. Weird. So, I squeeze myself in, and I start the car. I drive all the way down to the end of the development. I was coming up towards three cars at the three-way intersection. So, I slam on the brakes. I ram into the first car. Oh damn it all. So, I now get out, and take the right turn. I run up the street until I reach a streetlight. I see Steve Perry on a stage in the middle of the street. He's singing to everyone(INCLUDING ME TOTM!). I notice he's all alone up there singing "Wheel in the Sky." I jump up and grab a guitar, and stet playing(Yes, I know this song on guitar). The guitar solo now kicks in, and I play it. Soon I see someone who's terrorizing everyone. Really?! Oh well, at least I did TOTM. I go back to the car crash, and I see one of the mechs from Avatar(the movie, not the anime). I get in it, and I pull out my weapon. Really?! It's a bunch of different colored missiles on a pistol. I fly up from the mech and see the guy. I fires the missiles at him, but they don't do jack shit. Oh damn it all. I noe get back in the mech, and sit down. I close the cockpit and go back to the missiles. I pull out a big shotgun. I shoot the missiles, and a shitty foot radius explosion happens. Dammit! I notice the guy got away now. Fuck! I see him flying away. I get out, and hold onto the mech. I try ki speed flying, but I can't. What?! Oh it's the mech, but I wanna take it with me! I can't seem to get away with it, to I go and sit upon a tree until I awake.

    13. First Lucid Dream

      by , 08-11-2011 at 11:42 PM (Just a Collection)
First off... I woke up this morning really pumped because not only did I remember my dream but it was lucid and really interesting (aren't they all?). Below is as much of the dream as I remember it.

I was in a mall for a banquet (not really sure what for) and I was dressed up and heading toward the bathroom with a few friends. In the bathroom I looked into the mirror and realized that I missed a spot during my shave and it looked really terrible. I had a razor on me but had no shaving gel. Luckily the mall came fully equipped with a high tech shaving gel store.

I walked into the store and was approached by a very forward shaving gel sales representative. He quickly took me on a tour of the shop which was filled with plasma TVs and hidden shelves. He showed me a ridiculously priced tube of shaving gel and for some reason this triggered me to realize that I was dreaming. Go figure. I remember stating that I was dreaming out loud. When I said this all the people in the store stopped what they were doing and just stared at me. I said "leave" out loud and they all seemed to go away. Then I started rearranging the mall's stores and making more people appear and disappear. Then after a few minutes I wanted to go somewhere else. I have been wanting to visit a Buddhist zendo and decided what a better time but during the dream. I spun around and thought of a typical zendo layout and decor. Lo and behold as I spun around the mall went away and the zendo began to take shape. As I was exploring it seemed like I got too excited and kicked myself out of the dream and I woke up.

Really quite interesting and fun. I am looking forward to my next one.

    14. Lucid Dream #48

by , 08-08-2011 at 11:00 AM (Warbenifit156's Lucid Dreaming Adventures)
      Lucidity: 6/10
      Vividness: 8/10
      Length: ~10 Min.

I came out of this door and was greeted by some people. The scene was all dark and scary, with many creepy things along the way. Such as spiders. My dad, my brother, and some other people were there as well. This one guy said that I was in someone else's dream and was having a shared dream about regrets, so I went along with it and asked him "how often do you have these dreams?" He looked at me and said "all the time." I replied "Well, I'm not going into that door very often, then." Then I remember that we were in a flying car and I was waving at some people that I know and then I was at the beach, lying down. We traveled a little more until we came across the door that would get us out, I went through that door so fast, it would make your head spin.
    15. Lucid Dream #47

      Lucidity: 7/10
      Vividness: 8/10
      Length: ~4 Min.

I was in a gigantic factory building with my brother. Almost all of the lights were out in the building. After looking at the scene, I could easily tell that I was dreaming, I said to myself "I know I'm dreaming." So I kept saying things like "lights, on!" and stuff like that. After about 6 or so attempts, only about half of them worked, then I basically lost lucidity.
