Synopsis: After helping two lost kids I become lucid and meet "dreamers". I chase down dannon, dive into a mucky river, and visit a Moroccan like city

Note: I had just woken up from a night of random nonsense dreams. So at 7:30 am I refocus on dreamsharing and on the pyramids.

Lost Children
I'm walking to work and I pass by two children who looked so sad. Wait a minute, I turn around and realize these two young kids, a boy and a girl no older than eight were walking without their parents in the warehouse district.

I asked them if their mom was nearby and they told me they were running away. They looked like they had been walking for days. So I took them with me to work and hid them behind the receptionist desk. I'm starting to get this weird feeling. Like I'm dreaming.

I ignore the feeling and focus on the kids. Boss is already giving me work but instead I look for food and water to give the kids. I had a giant subway sandwich *what I hate subway* and found water under the boss' desk. Damn, I've got to be dreaming!

My vision is blurring in and out, this only happens in dreams and in dreams where Im close to waking up. I bang on the wall and scream "VISION!" My right eye clears up. I bang on the wall a couple of more times just to feel the pounding sensation and solidify the dream. "LEFT VISION!" My left eye clears up. Well no one is looking at me like I'm a freak so I've go to be dreaming. I levitate just to double check.

Yay! Lucid, I still give the kids their water and hoggie and then I run out of work - free!

Part Two: Dreamers Friends and Freaks
There's so many people downtown! And they all looked like dreamers to me. I realized I didn't know anyone in iosdp well enough to even know who I was looking for. So I remained curious and skeptical that maybe these dreamers were just DCs trying to fool me.

A large group wanted to go out to eat. But one tall slightly heavy blond says "I don't want to waste my time eating in a dream when I could be doing something more exciting!"

"Yeah you're right!" So I grow bat wings and start to fly around town, over the park and light-posts. And then I see Dannon down below. I land and talk to him. "Are you the real Dannon?" He tells me something but I don't remember it. Suddenly he transforms into a golden colored lion and makes a mad dash across the city. I was scared he was going to pounce me so I flew away again.

I fly over a river. Except you can't tell its a river because its so mucky. There's a thick film of slimy green stuff, you can't even see the water below. I float for a second or two debating it but I cant fight my dream instinct. When I see water I've got to jump in. I dive into the mucky water head first.

I first I regret it, it was scary down here. The water is black, I see something floating, is that a dead body? Then I see something swimming towards me, a dolphin! I pet its large forehead and then I fly out of the nasty water.

My vision is blurring again. So much I can't really tell where I'm going or who I just walked past. It lasted for several minutes.

I find a courtyard where a man was teaching something to a group of kids. I don't remember what but it seamed relative to dreaming. I turn into a bat creature again, scare the kids and fly away.

I find the dreamers and Dannon one more time downtown. The dreamers finally decided they would eat at Pei Wei. Dannon says "I love pei wei!" but he wasn't hungry so he turns into a lion and runs off again

After a while I enter a desert city with beautiful arabic like buildings. My vision cleared up and I wanted to remember the architectural details so I start shouting "BROWN, RED, OCHRE!" The colors of the details, the doors, the windows. But this city was empty.

I keep flying but now I don't remember what it was I was looking for. I fly through someones house and out the other end was a beautiful grassy plush field surrounded by forest. But the husband of the house, an old black man, thought I was the spawn of satan with my bat wings and hurled harpoons at me. His aim was horrible so he gets his son out and yells "Get'er!". Scared I flew into the forest, my vision blurs and blurs and blurs until the dream dissolves and I wake up.

I was at a theater or opera house where costumes used in past plays were being sold. One item I recognized as a gown from the opera Turandot - I tried it on with the mask from The Fall and posed dramatically.



Around this time I became lucid. I immediately started to fly and felt the dream fade away. To counter this, I came back to the ground and started by spinning in place, since the dream was starting to fade. This stabilized everything succesfully.

Then, I wanted to practice what I'd read in the DV forums - that getting control over a dream is about assuming you can do something rather than questioning whether or not you had the ability. I practiced by making fire shoot out of my fingers. The first two times I struggled, but then practiced assuming it would happen. Then I was able to do it. I went from lighting my finger on fire to lighting my hand on fire, with mostly success.

Satisfied with the fire experiment, I wondered what I should do now that I was lucid. Sex came to mind, and I looked around at the people around me. Lots were beautiful women, so I chose one and started to caress her. But, I wasn't really feeling it. I should have sex with someone I actually know, I thought. I saw a friend in the distance, approached him, and kissed him. He reminded me of another time we'd done this, in RL rather than a dream, and I was mortified by the embarrassing memory (note: false memory, I'd never been with this person in RL).

Not feeling into the whole sex thing, and started to wonder what I should do next. Hey, I should go to Chichen Itza, just like the IOSDP mentions. I don't believe in shared dreaming, but trying their challenge sounded like a good next step. I visualized Chichen Itza, and a few seconds later I was at its base, gazing up at it. The sides were too curvy, so I stared at them until they were straight. I noticed a fence around the pyramid and noted how strange it was my subconcsious put it there. Now I'm at Chichen Itza, I thought, so I should probably meet the people here and try to remember them when I wake. There were about 10-15 people standing with me, so I went around to them to ask their names and remember their faces. There were four blonde women of varying bodytypes, and I remember one man with brown hair, a green barret, and a slightly pudgy figure. Another male was tall and had tousled brown hair - he looked only 17 or 18, and I thought he seemed like a student. I tried hard to remember names - even asked people to put nametags on - but the names kept changing and I had trouble remembering. One person was named Enzo or Anzo, I think. Another was Cho. I woke up shortly after.

Note: Haven't written here lately due to travel and holiday busyness. The night of the above LD I was exhausted from travel - tried sleeping on my back with eyes closed for 30 seconds, then gave up and rested on my stomach and was asleep in seconds.

Pirates of the carribean Dream
Starts with me hanging out with Jwhitley and friends at a party at a restaraunt. Decide to go outside and find a pirae ship docked at the restaraunt.* We all decide to take the ship for a day and go on an adventure.* We get onboard and there is captain jack sparrow and will turner saying they are ready to go too.

* I notice the ship is clean and meantion that the ship has all new glasses and plates to Jack.* I then say to Jack so this is what you spent your money on from*all that treasure you found and he laughs.* We get on and then Mr. Gibbs gets on and we set sail.*
We get to an island not that far off for supplies and mr gibbs gives an eyepatch to a black lady in our crew and talks to her aboit why pirates wear them.* When everyone goes on ahead, i talk with mr gibbs about the girl asking if she is worth taking with is. Just about that moment,*the black girl starts rolling down the hill and she is a skeleton with no meat.

* I was shocked and wondered what happened and notice some ants.* I go on ahead and see swarms of ants coming for me so i begin to run and shake and freak out like you do when you got ants on you and then my arms start stinging.* I check them and there are ants covering my arm with almost no skin showing.* I panic and swim off the island and see ants in the water swarming to me.* I run onto another island and roll around and run for help and they start leaving me.* Turns out they won't kill you if you have a will to survive and you will fight to survive.
That's what Mr. Gibbs said after I was attacked. I then woke up confused and checking my arms.

Joshdamighty's Dream

So I attempted a w.i.l.d but had a hard time getting back to sleep after waking up at 6:00am (went to bed at 12:00am).

I was telling myself when I see the colors and I know I'm going through sleep paralysis, I will immediately wake up and reality check. I guess I waited too long... I ended up dreaming of getting up thinking it didn't work and I did a reality check with my hands and they looked normal! That's odd that they were normal.

So now I'm thinking its real. I go outside and want to see if the weather is windy and cooler here in Texas cause we have been waiting forever for this. I see the wind and then see my brother standing about 100 yards away from the house and he's watching it too. Then, the sky changes to a bright white. I see snow way off in the distance. I was really confused now but then heard a loud roar. I could tell from my years of playing monster hunter that it was a BLANGONGA.


Blangonga is the big one, blangos are the small ones.

I freaked out and yelled at my brother to get inside and he just stood there (why is it my brother always gets in these situations in my dreams). It starts snowing heavy and I see Blangos and then see a big shadow in the distance. Now I don't normally lose my cool in dreams but this time I went crazy.

I ran inside to grab a sword or battleaxe and woke up.

It started on a train and I was with all the people from the Harry Potter series. I was Harry Potter and I acted like I was him. My wand was a short sword with a wooden blade sticking out of the handle. When we arrived at the station I learned I was in a tournament and had won the last tournament. Drako was at the station with his dad and started mocking me about how he had kicked me in the face in the past and how he was better than me. I then replied how I've beat him in every wizard dual tournament and won the previous one.
I left to find my friends. We sat in a restaurant and the Malfoys sat right next to us. Drako was arguing with his dad and suddenly he dropped his wand and it rolled under our table. We tried to get it for him and then Jenny dropped her wand under the table and Drako complained to his father about how the wand was useless anyway. We were about to leave when I heard Voltemorts voice say someone will try to shoot Harry Potter. In this moment I floated out of Harry Potter and was like a spectator on a fps video game.
Jenny got up and left for no reason and Harry decided to leave too but found Jenny's wand. He said he needs to find her and as he was leaving I heard Drako's dad say to Drako here son you can use my wand and Drako replied "It's about time." Harry Potter was leaving and I saw Jenny coming back and she had like an odd glare in her eyes and I saw her carrying a small pistol and I knew she was cursed. I hurried to get to Harry Potter and when I did he was going up some big stairway that led to the upper level of the train station that kinda looked like airport.
Then, Jenny came through the hall way and had the gun. She pointed it at Harry and he tried to talk some to her and tell her not to do this but she wasn't replying. He pointed his wand at her and disarmed her pistol. She laughed and said I can just ask for another one. She looked up and held her hand up and said some stuff I didn't understand and black and red swirls of light started circling her and a gun appeared in her hand. She pointed it at him and laughed. He disarmed her again and started saying that she can resist him and needs to come back.
She said Harry I was testing you. See? The gun was actually a black and red T.V remote control. They hugged and I thought maybe I could control him again and when he got to the upper floor, Harry and his friends sat at a table and I floated into him and I wad in control again. Nobody noticed...
I gave Jenny her wand back and I looked at mine and was wondering what the blade on the side was for. I found out that it moved and there was a button on the handle. I turned the blade around and around and then pressed the button and it spun around like a fan and everyone at the table was amazed. I bragged, cool my wand is a wand, a sword, and a toy! A few people laughed but most were not and looked a little jealous. Then Hermione whispered "Harry, it would be better not to brag in front of your friends." Then there was some talking and then I woke up.

Burke's Dream

(Didn't get lucid last night but i did have an interesting dream, though i was on vacation and forgot to bring a DJ so i forgot like the first hald )

I was driving in a valley surrounded by two mountains but the grass was cut short and clean all the way to the bottom of the hills. I noticed the town i was driving through seemed deserted, no people, no animals, nothing. I pulled into a moderate sized house and looked inside. There was nobody there, and on the door was a note saying something about snakes. I noticed that there were signs about snakes everywhere. Apparently most, if not, all, of the town has been wiped out by these venemous snakes.

I continued down the road and pulled into yet another house. I walked around the back and entered through the back door. I saw a man and what looked like his daughter sitting at the table. I walked up to him and asked him to tach me about forensics (lol?). He said yes, but only if i killed the snakes. So i agreed.

I walked out and drove down to another neighborhood, but this one was extremely nice. I stopped on a slight hill and pulled up on the side of the road and noticed two skinny little things crawling on the ground which i figured were the snakes. I got out and grabbed a stick to try and catch the snake with. When i got close to them they seemed more like worms than snakes. They were very skinny (no more than a quarter of an inch thick) and only like a foot long.

I walked up behind on and attempted to push it down with the stick, but i missed it by like 5 feet . Then the snakes turned at me and started chasing me! I back up as quick as i could toward the road but it seemed to always catch up to me. It was only like 1 foot long but i seemed to think it could reach like 5 feet. Once the snake was like 2 feet away from me it launched itself at me and I woke up .

I was lying in bed on top of Chichen Itza. A glowing, yellow orb floated in the sky above me. Instantly, I recognized where I was. I was dreaming! I climbed out of bed and walked over to the edge of the top platform. From my height, I could see a number of shadow figures walking around at the base of the pyramid. Some of them looked up at me, but most were oblivious to my presence. Something woke me up immediately after.
