I was at my old house in blacks land, and my Mum was across the road at Janette's house. Mum wasn't doing too well, I think she was terminally ill. There was mattresses set up on the ground with blankets. There was a few people on them, including Mum. I wanted to spend as much precious time I could with her, and try and make her feel comfortable. I must have left and came back shortly after, and I could hear her talking to the person next to her. She said ''I was her favourite son''. I think Mum was now Kayley, and her problem had to do with her eyes. I wanted to start a charity/fund for the illness that was going to maybe take Kayley and Mum away from me.
Non-dream Dream Dream 1: I am house-sitting for my parents in their old house on Pam Ln. My wife is with me and we are sleeping in the master bedroom downstairs. The bedroom looks very similar to what I remember as a child except in addition to the sliding door out to the spa there is another very large window behind the bed. My wife wakes me up. It must be morning because we can see clearly out of the windows. She is very concerned because we see a coyote walking across the window by the spa and our cats our outside somewhere. I try banging on the window to scare it away but this doesn’t work. After this attempt I resort to tormenting the coyote. I am laughing at it, scratching on the walls, yelling at it, and talking shit on it because it can’t get inside. Suddenly it gets dark outside as if it were nighttime again and the coyote grows bigger. More coyotes are outside now and they are trying to get in. I regret my previous actions and I am now frightened. The coyotes are very intelligent and one of them is talking to me – it called me stupid. My wife and I move upstairs to my old bedroom, closing two doors behind us. We are almost certain that the coyotes will get inside of the house but we feel safe in this room. We realize that we will eventually have to face them when we leave the room and we are scared. Wake up. Dream 2: I am in a huge crossfit gym getting coached by coach D. There is some kind of tournament going on. I haven’t been to the gym in a very long time so coach D is designing a special workout for me. I begin with box jumps and he brings out a 12” box. I pride myself in being a great jumper so I tell him that for this exercise I want to use the same box everyone else is using. He brings out a 30” box and I am having a lot of trouble with it. It seems to be as tall as me and I have to use my hands to pull myself up onto the box. Embarrassed that I can’t do it, I call coach D over and ask for the shorter box. Then I move on to a 225lb deadlift and a few other exercises. Coach D and some other people are recruiting me for their football team but I decline. They want me to play the occasional cornerback by I say that in order for me to play I have to be one of their main options for quarterback and wide receiver because that’s what I’m used to. Soon after my workout I discover that there are hundreds of pigs lying around the gym. They are all dead, hairless and they appear to have been infected with something. I am completely grossed out. We all get white trash bags and go around throwing all of the pigs in the bags. I am now standing in a disgusting pool picking up the pigs. Coach D apologizes and explains that his pigs are breeding out of control and he can’t handle taking care of all of them – that’s why they died. The horrible pool of water that I am standing in contains a bunch of broken needles. Me and some other guy step on the needles and one goes very deep into my foot. I announce that I have been stabbed in the lymph node and it is very deep. The guy next to me says it will be fine and I reply “you don’t know as much about science as I do.” I have a strong feeling that it will give me cancer. I am not in the gym anymore and it looks like I am at someone’s apartment. I go through some weird scenes explaining what lymph nodes do. Basically if you leave stuff open then bad things like pollen and other irritants will get into the lymph nodes (?!?). Bill Murray is acting it all out. Bad things are attracted to me now and are trying to get me sick. Dream 3: I am in the parking lot at a golf course. Some guy comes up to me and begs me to play. He tells me that nobody is playing this course because there is some crazy guy roaming the course. He offers to pay for everything: green fees, golf balls, etc. I accept. We go into the pro shop and he purchases a couple of golf balls. I tell him that I’m not very good so I will probably need more than that. We head out to the course and the guy changes into my dad. The course is very difficult and the balls are cheap. They look and feel like balls of mud. I manage to birdie the first hole. On the second hole I out-drive my dad off the tee but he ends up winning. I got stuck in a sand trap that was impossible to get out of. One time I managed to hit the ball from the sand trap and hit the flag stick, but the ball just rolled back into the sand. I eventually realized that there were other holes IN the sand trap that were eligible. I go back to his house and he administers some strange medicine that makes me very sick but I get better later on.
Non-dream Dream I was able to recall two fairly vivid dreams today. Dream 1: I see my boss and he looks horrible. He describes how his son kicked him in the chest and somehow I know he will die soon. He dies soon after. I catch the heart attack (or whatever illness he had) from him and head to the hospital. The nurses are not taking me seriously even when I begin coughing up blood. I keep yelling "help me" but they do nothing. The doctor finally comes in and gives me antibiotics. I start feeling better and a little groggy. I ask him if I am dying or if the medication is putting me to sleep. I think I died. My hospital bed is suddenly transported to my backyard where my mom is by my bedside. I look over under our oak tree to find my cat Vito has killed a giant rabbit. Note - The following day I had to go to urgent care due to terrible stomach / chest pains. Dream 2: I am at a barber in Westwood, CA getting a crappy haircut. The only reason I am there (or so I think) is to kill some time (not sure what I had planned later). My dad happens to be there and he said we were supposed to meet at the barber. After my haircut I go visit my fiance's parents and this is where the devil comes in. The devil appears to me as a cat who is possessed and can see dead people (only briefly, then the devil appears human). I meet with the devil in a really nice hotel or club in a room behind a very skinny door. There are tons of hot chicks and someone needs to bang them in order for the devil to be released. Giant bubbles containing the chicks fall to the ocean and how they fall / pop determine life or death (?!?). i am able to turn something into a gold cup. Somehow this action makes me realize that I am dead and it is my entry to see the devil (I think). Next I am in the kitchen of my childhood home (Pam Ln). The room turns dark red (extremely scary) when the cat is threatened (the devil is now a cat again and I'm not sure what was threatening it). Other dream snippet: -I am in a place with a huge chain linked fence (maybe a parking lot?)
I tried 1800mcg of vitamin B-12 before bed last night. However, I did not get to sleep until late, and I had to take other medication for a cough that I have. I only remember one dream, which was kind of vivid but my recall is poor. Bleeding disease I am watching some people doing something. One guy has a terrible disease, which is contageous. Still, he spends time with his wife, and other people. He and his wife are sitting at a table in a restaraunt, and the "camera" focuses on the wife. There is something significant about the way that she scratches her leg, and I realize that she is getting the disease. I then see the guy, who is bleeding from his mouth. His mouth is filling with blood, and I know that this is part of the disease. The disease causes people to bleed everywhere, until they dissolve and die. Where the woman is itching, I know that she will start bleeding. In another scene, the man has gone to visit Sherlock Holmes. They are talking, and I think the man is now bleeding from his eyes. Holmes finds out what is going on, but is he able to stop it before he himself is killed? His fingers begin to itch, and soon he is bleeding from his fingertips.
First, was a short dream in which I was in a small room with a computer. The room was very dark and messy with books and things strewn about. It looked as if it was a room belonging to an absent-minded mad genius. On the computer I was live chatting with Ashley and Kayla. The picture on the computer was very strange. I'm sure there's a word for what it looked like, but I don't know it. Ashley's face looked very shiny, but like if you were looking at your reflection in a steamy mirror. For some reason, the topic of clear skin came up, and because of the picture, we all looked like we had perfect skin. I said that if you just don't touch your face, you are less likely to get zits, but I don't think she heard me. Then, Kayla started talking. She was in the room with Ashley, but off-screen. She didn't really say anything, but it was DE that she did. Then, I think I went through the computer screen to get to the room where Ashley was, and I think I had a huge bucket of water that I brought with me. I remember seeing Kayla. Next, I was in math class, but it was only math class as far as the title went. What we were doing the whole time was this mystery lesson, where hints were given in the textbook about what the culprit looked like, and someone in the class would fit the description. The classroom looked normal, except for an extra room in the back. The teacher, who kept morphing between Mrs. Enders, Mrs. Bell, and Mrs. Murphy, went first. After each description, she got closer to who the "culprit" was. The first person was Kyle. Then he would read the description. The next person was Dasha. When she was reading the description, I didn't want the culprit to be me. I remember that almost everyone in class was wearing a green shirt, and that was one of the biggest things in the descriptions. Unfortunately, I was chosen next. I don't remember what happened immediately next, but I remember after that, everyone was on this giant stage of some sort, and we were cutting logs with dynamite. They would place one stick of dynamite next to the top of the log (it was laying down), one next to the middle, and one next to the other end. Then, they would place another stick on the other side of the log wherever they already placed one. When the sticks exploded, they would create 3 smaller logs (although it should have been 4). I suggested cutting two logs at once. So we would be using 9 sticks of dynamite for two logs, instead of 12 for two. I had to explain to them (I don't know who) that the sticks of dynamite would be in the same spots they are going now, but with the addition of 3 sticks placed in the crease that two logs made when they were next to each other. We tried this out, and we got 8 smaller logs when they exploded. The last dream was pretty long, and it branched off from the log/math class dream because the room was the same. It started out in the extra room from the math class dream. There was nothing in this room except walls, and a door leading outside. But anyway, we were under attack by aliens, and I was with Ephraim, Kyle, Stan, and Kenny (from South Park). I headed outside, and I realised that I wasn't wearing any shoes, and neither was anyone else. The place we were at looked like a futuristic alien society. There were tons of skyscraper-like structure built out of pink stone, and there were cobblestones everywhere. The path we emerged on led forward for as far as we could see, but there were right turns and left turns we could take if we wanted to. Since I wasn't wearing any shoes, the ground was rough on my feet. Even though this was an urgent situation, I turned to Stan and said, "Let me go inside and get my shoes real quick." For the longest time, I couldn't find my shoes. When I finally did find them, there were spike traps inside them, set by the aliens. It was DE that we did something similar to them, and they were returning the favor. The spike traps in question looked like half a sphere with spiky needles emerging all around it, except for on the flat bottom. That's what they looked like when they weren't set. When the traps were set, they were just folded inside out (the flat bottom was folded up), so that they looked like spherical bowls with needles inside them. These traps were placed in my shoes so that my heels would get messed up.The first shoe I tried to put on stuck my foot in the very center. I was worried that maybe the aliens poisoned the tips or something. But anyway, I took the trap out, and took the trap out of the other shoe. I tried to put them on, but I was having trouble. For some reason, I couldn't figure out which way they went on, and I finally realised that they were backwards, with the tip of the shoe being the entrance, and the back housing my toes. I fixed them, and I put them on properly. Then I suddenly had a third leg, and I had to put on another shoe. This particular shoe looked...medical. It looked like it was on a crutch or something, and it was very old and brown and ragged, and also looked almost like an old rugby shoe. When I put it on, I headed back outside, and my third leg disappeared. When I got back I said, "Sorry I took so long, I couldn't-" Stan interrupted me, "Where were you? Kenny is dead and Ephraim has a disease!" I remember that when he told me that Kenny was dead, I thought to myself that he always dies, so it wasn't a big deal, but I didn't say this to Stan. We headed back inside. Now, the room had a very jungle/rainforest-like atmosphere, with cracked stone walls and overgrown vines everywhere. I went over to Ephraim, who looked very sick, but was still in high spirits, and he pulled up his shirt, and on his back were all of the symptoms of what he had, listed in blue ink (because of the disease). Apparently he had the "triple worm virus", or the "sudden awareness virus". Out of the LONG list of symptoms, I remember: Extra pain sense (every sense comes with a little pain, like touching a soft surface, or hearing something), sudden awareness (suddenly coming to. exhibited later), extra, or misplaced consciousness (because of the worm becoming part of you), and one just said "organ" (because of the worm becoming part of you). Ephraim and I thought the organ one was pretty funny because it was so vague. Suddenly the four of us were walking along a path in a Wal-Mart/jungle-like place. It was DE that Ephraim's condition was getting really bad, and he was pretty much a walking zombie. But for a little while, he was exhibiting no symptoms. We walked along this path, and there were crates of water and bananas all along the side. Since Ephraim was fine, he picked up some crates for us to bring along on the adventure we were on. He took a big drink from one of the crates, emphasizing that he was feeling great now. As we walked further, the path slowly morphed into a Wal-Mart isle. We all knew that Ephraim, if he was really better, would want to eat as well. We passed a bunch of food and cereal to our right, with Ephraim not even saying anything, much less getting something to eat. We passed Life cereal, and it was supposed to be this big thing that he passed up Life cereal. Anyway, Ephraim was walking in front of us, and when he didn't get any Life cereal, we realised something was wrong. Since he was in front of us, we couldn't see his face. I walked around him to look at him, and he looked like a zombie. His eyes were white, his skin was ragged with sores, and his expression was lifeless. We realised that he just exhibited the "sudden awareness" symptom. The symptom was that he would have points where he would suddenly feel better, as if nothing was wrong. Next thing I know, we are walking through Wal-Mart looking for a doctor. We all kept our distance from Ephraim, who I kept looking back at. Every two seconds, he would give a "UUUUUuhhhhGGgghhu," and it was very eerie. Eventually, after a long search, we found doctor, who had to walk with us, who we explained our situation to. As we discussed Ephraim's condition, the doctor asked us when he usually becomes aware. Ephraim, being suddenly aware, answered, "it usually happens right after a Zelda game comes out." The doctor then asked, "Did you perform any rituals when you found out about his condition?" It was then DE that we did, even though we originally didn't. The doctor's suggestion was to go back and undo the ritual. I thought that this wasn't going to be enough to save Ephraim, but then the doctor mentioned something about the letter "G". It was DE that part of the ritual had something to do with a word that ended in a "G". We didn't find the last "G", so we had to go undo the ritual, then find the letter, and then that would supposedly do that trick. I woke up at 11:30. I would have went back to sleep, but I got to bed late this night, and this was only my first round of detailed dreams (I usually have 2-3). If I went back to sleep, I would have gotten out of bed at like 2 or 3 PM.
11-07-11 I was lying in bed trying to remeber any dream. Couldn't recall anything, could the severe headaches and illness be the cause of this?
04-07-11 Fragments. I remember being involved with Kiersti from my study, started out with just saying Hi to her as she was sat on a sofa. Then progrssed to a kiss and after that we had a walk where we agreed that we needed to talk. We ended up doing some major petting in her hallway, but nothing more than that. I remember the various ways I tried to kiss her all felt a little different and I was trying to get the right balance of tounge. Duki wanted to know how it went with her the day after that (note: he has played an awful big part in a lot of my dreams recently). … Something about watching a football match at a mates house. We are watching on the small telly at first, but decide to switch it over to the big one. However the owner of the TVs is being a cock and make the image roll up behind the screen as we are watching. For some reason I actually find this football match interesting although normally I wouldn't. … Something about kaiser on the phone talking to me that we should meet up at our destination and I should try to bring beers, or maybe he was going to try bringing beers. … I am in a house with a lot of funny angles and shapes and for some reason I have keys to all the rooms so I walk around opening pretty much any door I come across. At one point I bump into Daniel's little brother fully dressed in the shower. He asks me what I think of the house and I tell him that it is a bit weird with all the funny angles, he said that he likes that and was struggling for words and I finished the sentence “it is what gives it it's charm” for him.
Awake, Non-lucid, [Commentary made while awake] I'm at House #1, and for some reason, I have to sleep lying across the foot of my parents' bed. I wake up there from a dream [that I don't remember now]. My dad is walking through the master bedroom and complaining that my sneezing has been keeping him awake. I sit up on one side of the bed and say aloud to both of my parents, “Yes, as a matter of fact, I have been sneezing! Here in the real world!” Meaning, as opposed to the dream I've just been having. I then think, but don't say, If this turns out not to be the real world, I'll be embarrassed. [ I completely forgot that there's this thing called a reality check...] Across from the bed, a wooden frame mounted on top of the dresser houses a small movie screen. [That frame exists in real life, but it holds a mirror.] The screen is showing the end credits of an animated movie made by the same animation studio that produced The Point. Yeah. I was kind of embarrassed when I woke up for real.
Awake, Non-lucid, Semi-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake] The first thing I remember is thinking, I should really do an RC. [I have no idea why I thought that, but I did.] I do, and discover that I can breathe through my nose while holding it shut. Strangely, though, I find I can't do anything more than that, besides lie there. I can't even see anything around me. I try to get up, but I can't. I think, "I have no mouth, and I must scream," but I don't really mean it; I'm not afraid or even really concerned, just slightly puzzled, and I'm just observing that my situation is comparable to the one for which the short story is named. [Later, I had a really, really cool non-lucid.] My mom, P., and I get into the open, upholstered back seat of a tiny little wooden propeller plane, big enough for the three of us and a pilot, who sits in a seat in front of ours. The plane takes off from the airport in the city of Louisville, which I know [in the dream] is the greenest city in America. [It looks nothing like the real Louisville.] We fly over the city in our plane, admiring the view. There is a big building with cascades of water gushing through big, rectangular openings on one side. I think, I hope that's a power plant. It obviously is, powering the entire city. The city is very beautiful from the air. It is on a very flat, sandy plain, next to the ocean. [Wait, what?! Real!Louisville is landlocked! It's by a river, but it's not the same thing.] The little plane flies low over the ocean, so that we can dip our rubber-thong-sandal-clad feet in the water as we fly along. Then, suddenly, I find myself in the ocean water, holding on to a dark purple foam mat that floats in the water. I'm wearing my favorite swimsuit [that I have in real life]. I see the plane, floating with most of the plane below the surface of the water, the pilot still in his seat. I hang on tightly to the foam mat to keep myself afloat, knowing that I can't swim. [Strange; I could swim back on February 2.] There are other swimmers in the water besides me and my family. A young man grabs hold of my mat and flips it up and pushes it over onto me, trying to use it to playfully push me under the water. I pretend to go along with it, but manage to keep my head above water. [Now that I think of it, I was much more buoyant in the water in this dream than I am in reality, and could keep an arbitrary amount of my body above water, just like in my dream on February 2; I just wasn't aware that I could do that this time.] My family and I get back onto the plane, which is getting ready to take off from the water. I have a conversation with the pilot about how there have to be at least two feet of distance between the surface of the water and the wings of the plane in order for it to take off. It takes off with the help of a wave that gives it a push from behind, then climbs back into the sky. The pilot says something about how he's heading back to the airport, since it's so close by that there will be practically no weather at all there. The plane returns to the airport and lands there. [Later in the night, after a very brief WBTB.] I'm talking about being a lucid dreamer [whether to myself or to someone else, I'm not sure]. I ramble on about the mental discipline I have to have for a bit, not really paying attention to what I'm saying. Suddenly, I realize that for the last several sentences, I haven't been talking about lucid dreaming at all; I've been talking about being kind and behaving well toward other people. At some point, without realizing it, I shifted from talking about being a lucid dreamer to talking about being a Christian. I say to myself, “That's a good sign. It means my subconscious has its priorities in order.” I'm in House #1, and am now definitely lucid. Everything around me is vague and blurry. I try to focus my attention on some of the scenery to make it clearer, and it works a little bit, but the house looks as if I'm looking at it through dark, spot-and-fingerprint-covered sunglasses. I'm walking back and forth in the master bedroom, which is much more spacious than it was in the real House #1. I remember that my dreaming goal for tonight was to practice delivering my 30-second commercial, so I start practicing. "Hello, my name is (Emiko)," I say. "I'm a computer technician... networking technician... I'm a computer technician who specializes in networking." I go on to say the same thing I've been saying almost every time I've practiced this, about saving money for my previous employer. I can't think of anything new and creative to add to my 30-second commercial. I'm rather surprised. I had expected the words and thoughts to flow more easily here, but it's actually a little bit harder to deliver a good 30-second commercial in a lucid dream than it is in reality. [So much for using all of your brain's potential while you're dreaming. Not for that purpose, anyway. I suppose my brain was also busy generating the scenery around me. Or maybe I just need to gain more dreaming experience. I don't know.] There's another reason why I'm having difficulty practicing my 30-second commercial: I'm distracted by my stuffy nose, which is now running. I wipe it with a black paper napkin with white polka dots on it, remarking, “I didn't think dream bodies could get sick like this!” As I continue pacing the master bedroom, I think, I could try walking through that wall there if I wanted to, but I decide not to, because I have something more important to work on while I'm here. I step forward far enough to see around the corner into the bathroom, to the left. I see the DC version of my mom there. She's wearing a light yellow T-shirt and is crouched down, apparently looking for something under the sink. I say, “Oh. Hi, Mom. I have this cold right now. I don't know why I'm telling you this. Just to let you know.” She says something along the lines of, “Well, don't get it on me.” I turn away, looking back into the master bedroom, and discover that I can now see everything with perfect clarity. “Oh, now I can see!” I exclaim, slightly annoyed. I walk toward the other end of the room, aiming to explore beyond another doorway into another part of the house. [Stupidly,] I close my eyes, and then open my real eyes. I'm disappointed in myself when I realize that I've lost the dream by doing something that I know better than to do.

Last night I took 150mg of Ginkgo Biloba, followed by a brief period of exercise (50 pushups). In the past, this has greatly increased the amount of dreams that I either experience, recall, or both. I also attempted to incubate a dream in which I would be in the computer game Myst Uru. Myst Party I am at the church that I went to when I was little. My parents are with me, as are a couple of other people. My mother is eating a cookie, or a cupcake, or something like that. She tells me she got it downstairs. I ask someone else about it, and this other lady tells me that she got it "in the room beneath the rooms" or something cryptic like that. I know that by that she means that the cookie came from a room down in the basement near the boiler room, in an interesting set of stairwells and hallways that always fascinated me when I was little. We sit down in a pew, either towards the back of the sanctuary or up in the balcony. I look over to the end of the pew and see a big sign that has been hand written. It is advertizing a "Myst" party, as in the computer game. According to the sign I am either too late for the party or will not be able to make it. At the Mall I get a new job, working as a security gaurd at the mall. I am at home with my family, and we decide to go shopping. When we get to the grocery store we were originally going to go to, it turns out to be the mall. I decide that since I am a security gaurd, I can walk along with them and shop, and still be able to do my job at the same time. We split up. The rest of my family goes one direction, and I go another direction with a girl that I knew in college. We go into a couple of shops and look around, and somehow I loose my socks. I go into a gift shop where they are selling a pair of socks for $3. I debate for a while whether to get one pair or another. Then I check to make sure they are all $3. I see a sign on the box of socks that says $3, so I am informed of the price. I go out of the back of this store, and keep on going. The girl is still in the mall, but I walk on down the street until I come to a grocery store. I go in and walk around, and then get a cup of coffee. Then I think maybe my family and the girl will wonder where I went, so I go back. Back in the mall I meet up with everybody. They aren't too concerned about where I went. Blue Blotch I have some kind of a welt on my forehead, and next to this a big blue blotch. I am worried that this blue blotch may be the sign of some disease, so I look it up online. I know that looking up symptoms online is a bad idea, but I go to WebMD anyway and check it out. When I type in "Blue Blotch", I get a page with a terrible illness. It shows a deformed and barely recognizable person who is being killed by a disease that started with a blue blotch. I decide not to trust WebMD. The Fair In my old job, I often went to fairs to talk to people. In this dream, I am back at one of the fairs. It is cold and cloudy, and my mother is with me. We set out looking for a certain barn (I think it had model trains in it, but I'm not sure). We walk out to what appears to be the end of the fairgrounds, but I can see that beyond us is more buildings. My mother does not seem interested in looking anymore, so we go back to wherever we started. Old Mr. cedward1 I'm an old man in this dream. However, I am a powerful old man. I seem to be very skilled at my job (I think I am a lawyer). I am well known and well respected. Some people probably fear me. However, I am all alone. I never wanted to marry anyone or have a family of my own, and now in my sunset years I begin to regret it. I wonder if it is too late to find a wife, but then I think that even now I might not want to give up my freedom. For a brief period, the dream is about a queen somewhere who is in the same predicament. Then it is back to me as an old man. I am eating steak and a baked potato. I pur butter on the potato, along with a bit of white cheddar cheese and steak sauce. I mash the potato up and eat. It tastes pretty good for being dream food... ... The dream changes quite a bit. I am no longer an old man, and am walking through the woods. It is late fall or winter, and all the leaves are off the trees. My job is to see if people have been logging near a creek that runs through the woods. I inspect a while, and then my mother's beagle runs away. She can't get it back, so I call it. The beagle come trotting out from behind a tree. Another Shopping Dream I am at my Granparents' house. Everyone goes shopping, which is referred to by an odd name like "simple country" shopping, supposedly because they are going bargain hunting. I decide to stay behind, but as they are leaving I change my mind. We all go in to town. Some things happen that I can't quite remember.
