Hide and seek I was running around some old, abandoned farmstead. It was really foggy all around. I was chased by a strange horse that tried to eat me. I was running away from it, avoiding obstacles and climbing up buildings. In several places I saw some glowing shards, picking them up made the surroundings brighter. I jumped down from one of rooftops and the horse immediately attacked. I pointed at it with my thumb and it illuminated the horse like a flashlight. The beast was afraid of light and escaped, but whenever it came back to darkness, it tried to attack me. I ran into a barn and climbed up a wall. The horse turned into an evil clown. I tried to climb higher so it won't get me, but mistakenly collapsed a wall on it and escaped. DILD I was about to leave my house, when I met some girl entering it. . I told and gestured her to leave, but it only made her clothes disappear. She stared at me confusedly. With another gesture, I made her breasts grow bigger, then another one appeared and shouted that she'll make me end the same. I just left my house and got to a road outside, thinking if this is a dream. I made a reality check and moved on. I tried to fly, but couldn't. I couldn't jump too high as well. I recalled one of advanced tasks of the month and looked at the sky. Instead of moon or sun, there was a strange mix of them. I tried to turn the moon blue, but it didn't work. Then I thought about visiting one of my pals. I tried to get there with high jumps or flying, but they weren't working too well. Instead I found a way to traverse far distances with just a few steps. Looking around on my way, I noticed that everything looked like more than ten years ago. I got to my pal's house and met her brother. I asked him where she went - apparently she was with parents on backside of the house. I noticed that she's only like 4 or 5 years old when I got there. I thought that I'm younger like all the DC's I saw, but I wasn't changed at all. I sat on a bench, and the dream ended.
Morning of May 31, 2017. Wednesday. I am sitting on the floor in the lounge room in our present home on W Street (though it is bigger yet with less features). My wife Zsuzsanna and our youngest son are present. He is playing a Skylanders game though is ready to play a new one with a new figure which Zsuzsanna had apparently just bought for seventy dollars. The game is also new. The toy figure that fits onto a joystick-like device is a horse of mostly yellow and brown tones. The figure is rendered into the game. At first, I thought it was going to be a human or at least an anthropomorphic character. Instead, I eventually see that the toy figure and the rendered video game image looks like a horseshoe-shaped horse facing left in profile. (It also reminds me somewhat of an arched Halloween cat.) Our son plays for a short time before the joystick falls apart. There is some sort of small rod from it that goes through the top of the head of the Skylander figure and falls out, causing the rest of the entire game controller and figure to fall apart. He is upset. I think about trying to fix it, but notice tiny screws on the floor mixed in with pieces that I am not sure are even part of the game controller. I think about taking it back for a refund, though this idea quickly fades. I get annoyed and decide to just discard it. I also decide to get rid of the game as well, but this part is unusual in that I start to dismantle the whole works (thus subliminally initiating the biological waking mechanism) like a three-dimensional setup rather than just taking out the cartridge. This dream is a result of my temporary dream self (unstable higher range personified subconscious) not being fully linked to the dream state because of slightly disrupted sleep. It is a metaphor for “not holding the dream together” (and my dream self subliminally wanting to “put the dream back together”). I have had hundreds of dreams of this nature since early childhood, always when my sleep has been slightly disrupted by an environmental factor. The horse represents the essence of physical energy (as in “horsepower”), similar to car symbolism in some states, symbolizing the potential for healing and rejuvenating energies in real time. It is not a real horse here as it is caught within the sleep disruption (and the disruption of a more viable rejuvenating state). On a secondary level, it possibly relates to our youngest son not being an adult in control of his life and still needing us to be in control, though I am certainly not annoyed in any way by that fact, though it does suggest he might need more vitamins (or a stronger immune system). Still, something “falling apart” (or falling in general) is just a very common dream cessation (waking) metaphor I have seen continuously all my life.
First thing I remember, I was sitting on a horse in a quaint town. There was another guy on a horse who was leading the way. He showed me how to speed up and we galloped through the town. He disappeared while we were riding. I stopped when I saw a boy trying to open a big warehouse door for a delivery. I helped him open the door and a man from inside the warehouse took it and secured it open. Then a large box was delivered (a piano?) A woman handed me a money order and said that I could cash it at the local bank and she gave me directions. I asked her about a bookstore in town. She told me there was a new one that would be opening tomorrow. I walked through the town admiring its quaintness and thinking that Peg and I might want to move here. I saw where the new bookstore would be opening. It was to be mostly a used book store. People walking on the street seemed to be pleasantly buzzed. I mentioned to a middle-aged, female, passerby that it was a little bit like the movie, The Stepford Wives. I was not sure if she would get the reference but she did and agreed with me. I went into a diner. I had a bag with clothes in it. I noticed a woman smoking at the table next to me. I asked her to confirm, “We can smoke in here?” At first, she seemed to think I was messing with her and kind of gave me a snarky response. Then I looked and saw that there were ashtrays on all the tables. I thought, “Peg would love this place.” I lit a cigarette and decided that I should take a selfie photo of me smoking a cigarette in a restaurant. By this point there were more people wandering up to nearby tables and chatting, mostly attractive women. I took the selfie and noticed that there was a flirtatious-looking woman in the background. It occurred to me that Peg might not be that happy with me hanging out at this place. I tried to text her the selfie on my phone but I could not find the photo. There were a bunch of photos that I had not seen before, of a wedding that my sister Christine had attended. I struggled with the phone for a minute but had to give up on sending the photo. (tech fail) Then an attractive woman approached me and asked me in a flirtatious manner if I wanted to go downstairs. I asked her what happens downstairs. She said something like, “Generous men buy subscriptions to our magazines.” I thanked her but said maybe another time. Then a young guy approached me and asked me about my refusal to go downstairs with the woman, intimating that I would have a good time. I told that man that I was married and politely refused. An older gentleman sitting nearby said that I should have gone downstairs but not engaged in anything saying that this would make me intriguing to them. I was getting ready to go and I started organizing the clothes I had in my bag. A middle-aged woman took my lunch tray and began walking off with it. I said that I still had to pay and she stopped. I worked out the payment with her. There was also a large pile of change that I had left on the tray. She tried to give it back to me but I told her to keep it as a donation to the women who were selling magazine subscriptions. I walked through a different room, intending to exit the restaurant through a different door. There were some little private boxes that were like free standing closets. I realized that men were meeting women in these boxes to chat privately before going downstairs. I ended up stepping into one of these boxes. It was a particularly small one, about the size of a phone booth. A woman stepped into the box and spoke with me for a minute explaining that the magazines were around $12 per issue. That seemed kind of expensive to me. But I said that I could probably buy a three-month subscription. We left the box and I was presumably going to meet her downstairs. But then I was captured by a group of men and put into a primitive box with sticks going through the top so the box could be carried by several men. I was afraid that they were going to send me to South America to be a slave. They brought me to a darkish room downstairs where there was an auction going on. They were auctioning off men for sexual encounters with men and women. I was not too happy about this. Some people told me that it was not that bad. One gave me a clear plastic glove to make things less messy. By then Peg had showed up and we discussed the pros and cons of the two of us working at a place like this. I guess it paid pretty well. But we would have to have sexual encounters with people of either sex. I think we were leaning against the idea. But then I woke up before we had decided.

I was awake, following a recorded guided meditation. The imagery in my head deviated from the guides narration. The narration took me down a tunnel to a green field. However it did not mention a white horse, who excitedly trotted up to me happy to see me. The narration did not mention that the green pasture was constructed by an earthy set of hands floating in space. The narration then expressed a loss of gravity and floating up. The mare reached up and grabbed me by the pant leg of my jeans, she looked sad and almost scared. In my looking back to basically say that I wanted to continue along with the guided meditation, I saw not only the mare but me standing next to her. The mare let go and as I continued to float up following the narration the me next to the horse grinned almost evily and slit the poor horses throat. This didn't jolt me or frighten me, but it made me sad and has me now worried as to it's meaning. Perhaps this will be a good way for me to keep in touch with my dreams. Maybe someone out there will have some insight.
I recall a dream fragment where I was looking at a GIF on Imgur where there were a number of horses in the picture standing over wet, leaf-covered ground. A horse suddenly plunges into the ground. The other horses wandered around cluelessly before some started digging on another spot in the ground and uncovered a pool which the previous horse comes out of, revealing that the horses were standing on an island of dead leaves.
Tendon problem on my leg from running. Been bogged down with that. Plus my parents and grandparents got in a huge fight (fortunately I haven't been dragged into it but the atmosphere around the house as been tense, further details witheld since its a family matter.) Man something's always gotta mess with my mojo when its lucid dreaming comps. Last time it was KSP, exams and sickness. Now it's ankle injury, family fight (ahem, dreamsign) and inevitably some other third thing to come... Night 6 A dream (more a fragment really) that A college class was taking place in the basement of my house, and something to do with registration. Something do with another piece of a bismuth crystal, one that had to, once again be inserted into some kind of alien machinery. This time I even recognized the crystal. It's the one I keep in my room. I attained some level of lucidity here and decided to question why I was dreaming of the crystal. Night 7 A dream that one of my cats (who has a habit of bringing in animals) brought in many, many animals. The basement was full of frogs, rabbits and mice, and they were all alive. Hijinx insued as my mom and I tried to catch them all with butterfly nets and take them back outside. Actually was a very lengthy dream that involved of us disposing of four of the frogs and three of the rabits, at least that I can remember. But was fairly repetative and the details bore me. Night 9 (last night) I remember I was being attacked by a white horse that was apparently demonic. It was chasing me around some kind of ranch environment. I shot it with arrows and managed to kill it. I remember attaining some level of semi lucidity and thinking that there was a particular way that I had to dispose of the dead demon horse so that it wouldn't come back as a poltergeist. I remember burying it in the ground and putting a circle of salt around it. I then drew a dreamcatcher web in the dirt. That was apparently supposed to capture the evil soul when it would rise from the ground and purify it in the sunlight, just like a functional dreamcatcher, while the salt prevented the evil soul from circumventing the web. ... The dream continued. I was in some desert environment, but it was like a lakebed or a dried up ocean. Had some fallout vibes. I got attacked by a cowboy guy that was supposedly the owner of the demonic horse. He pushed me down and tried to shoot me with his revolver, but I pushed the gun away from him. I messed with his hand and tried to make him waste all the bullets by shooting them off away from us but he pushed my hand away when he had two left. Garnet from SU appeared behind me and I again attained semi lucidity. I thought of the dreamcatcher shield as a personal goal from the comp to block the bullets but I got Steven's shield instead*. There was some fault in my confidence but it worked anyway and I blocked both shots with no cracks in the shield. There was some kind of theme/amusement park that we were supposed to go to, but I didn't want to because I knew I was going to lose the dream and wake up because I hadn't been practicing these past few days. I remember thinking to myself "Tomorrow I'll get back to it." Spoiler for *: To be fair, Steven stole my flying jets for his lucid dream. I haven't RC'd as hard as when I saw this since that guy who looked JUST like my dream character Marcus joined up at my Taekwondo studio... I wasn't properly lucid in any of these though though, my head wasn't in it, so I'm only scoring them as NLDs. Apologies to all my teammates who are competitive and want us to win, but it's too much of a stretch to call myself properly lucid in any of these. Not much time for dreams lately, RL is kicking my ass a bit. Here's a dream about horses, because why not? I'm in a messy house with a lot of clutters and white walls. My mother is bringing something back from somewhere. She parks the care and there's a trailer linked to it. She brought in two horses; a grey one with a spanish built, a lipizzan maybe, with a wavy mane and tail; and a alezan one, with a roughter built, more quarter-horse. The second one is a bit bovine, and do nothing more that grazing a bit. The grey one is something else. As soon as we have him in his pasture, he find a patch of bare dirt and rolls around in it, overing himself with the bright orange soil. I pick up a brush and call him. He trot up to me, head held high, and stop in front of me. I start to brush out the dirt, the sky turning dark but the light not changing. It's a long process but it's not tedious; it's almost meditative, and both the exercise and the body warm of the horse warn off the cold of the night. I lean against it's back to take a breather, tucking my arms under my chin and looking out to the pasture. The smell of horse is strong but pleasant, and his skin is slighting shaking each time my breath touch it, as if it was a fly. I can barely see the other horse; the light around us seem to stop a few paces away.
I'm riding a horse, pushing it to run through an old, decaying city of stones. It's build over water, and we have to jump over water canals to reach my objective. It's a tower of crumbling stones, half covered with wines. I get off my horse and get in. It's not abandonned; in fact, there are people here, a family. They furnished the house with drapes, flowing veils and scattered cushions, all very colorful and standing out again the gray stones. It does little to protect us from the damp, chilly atmosphere, but it's cheerful. I get up some crumbling stairs, ending up in a bedroom with one of the wall destroyed, opening into a breath taking vista of the lake the city is build on. I feel tired, and lay down on some cushions. I wake up from the panicked call of the mother of the house, begging me to take her daughter and flee. I get up and slip on a bright blue t-shirt big enough to dress a lumberjack and pull the girl with me to the fallen wall. She doesn't thing twice and jump in the lake. I take a more safe approch and climb down the wall before getting into the water. My plan is to swim discreetly to the border of the town, where my horse is waiting.
D1 - I find out why I have been falling in love with the same red haired person through time. I meet Matt Smith and Karen Gillan , and here is the synch Anyway best thing is, is the time machine is a train. We travel and tracks through space and time, on outside of train for some reason. Meeting past life red head, earlier red head this life time and later red head this life time. Which are all supposed to be same soul Anyhow was cool. D2 - Brother and ex-wife are in some kind of limbo, with 2 years not knowing what to do or where to live. They visit a warehouse with lots of boxes with special coding on them. I figure out how it works but can see no point for such a system as they have next to no stock. D3 - Horse riding competiton. Our side is very confident but are tricked due to this. Our last hope is a good rider, he jumps and swings himself onto the horses back much as a gymnast onto the parallel bars. But we are still tricked it seems.
I'm laying on my bed, in the dark, feeling warm and relaxed. I feels a slight rocking motion and trying to push my dream body out, but I don't have enough momentun and snap back in, waking up in the process. I manage to stay still and look for the rocking motion again, wainting until I'm confident I can throw myself out. I roll off the bed and go to the window. I go through it and walk in the dark, waiting for the darkness to subside. When I can finally see I'm standing on a road between two hedges and it's the end of the afternoon. Eli is already here, and I take his hand. He wrap me in a tight hug and I get gently pulled on my tiptoes, burying my face against his neck, smelling cologne and his warm skin undernearth. I lose my equilibrium and lean against him, encircled in his arms, and the dream threaten to shatter like glass. He let go of me, reminding me that I have to look for someone. I'm not very lucid but I know he's right, so I climb other the hegde into a tree and use the brach to lauch myself into the sky. I' flying very low, and I use the trees on my way to try to go highter. I fly close to a small group of dream characters; I can't really see their faces, but one of them is familiar. I land next to him and he smiles, recognizing me. It's the handsome man with the patrician features and he is as happy to see me as he was is the first dream I saw him. He takes my hand for a basemain, but the mighty kitty wakes me up. At this point I check the time, and since it's still early, I decide to try to do a WBTB, as I can't chain. I am in a garden, without lucidty. I'm with agroup of girl, we're celebrating something like a engagement. We're all on motocycles, except one, who only has a bike. I get off my ride, telling her to take it, that I will find something else. On cue I hear hooves, and I turn around. A cybernetic horse is coming for me. It's made of a strange, shiny almost black blue material, with a blue shiny outline stylizing its face and body. Its eyes are pupilless and shining too, and its mane is a plate of the same material as the rest of it. There is some kind of plugs on its back, and I use them to secure a saddle made of a simple piece od leather on its back before climbing. I don't need a tack to steer it, but the girls with me find it innerving, so I materialize a bridle around its head. The horse rears up and nickers, very unhappy with that. I really need to stress to myself that I need to find the silvery man and not any pretty thing I find on my way
I'm in the dark, feeling both my real body and my dream body. I roll over and push myself out. For some strange reason I can't move forward and I have to go through my window by walking backward. Once I'm outside, I can move normally. I'm still in the dark, still feeling my closed eyelids, but I keep walking until I start seeing and stop feeling my eyelids. It's sunny but a little chilly; I'm in front of the house, but the car parked here is different that usual and take up most of the allyway, making it difficult for me to leave the garden. My lucidity is very low, and my head feels muddy. Over the top of the car I can see my neighbour's garden, there is a couple of blck horses eating grass next to the house, long tails swishing in the bright light. There is a white and pink mesh on the letterbox, and I start thinking about using it to climb oven the fence and get out when a very tall man walks on the road in from of the house. I recognize Eli and call him. He smiles and picks me up. I wrap my arms and legs around him like a monkey and give him a quick kiss, making him laugh. I crane my neck to see the horses and Eli walks into the neighbour garden. By the time we reach the horses, they have disappear, and there's nothing more that a couple of discared woods on the floor. I grumble and we look for the horses again, my low lucidity plummeting. I get off Eli arms and walk barefooted on the damp grass, single minded in my goal of riding a horse. I find a crudely shaped, wooden toy of one, and put in on the floor, willing it to grow. I hop on his back when it start to inflate, but it stay all crooked and strangely shaped ans I wake up.

This morning I had some of the realest lucids in a long time. I'm at Kings Dominion which is an amusement park and I'm with my friend Ryan under the Anaconda rollercoaster. We're at this sort of food market place where a bunch of people are sitting down and talking. I'm trying to convince Ryan and his girlfriend that we should go on it but they aren't really responding. I start to ride on the Anaconda towards the actual beginning of it thinking it'll just loop and I'll be on it. When I get closer to it, I realize the track is ending and it stops at the end under the place where it normally starts. The dream sort of pauses and I start to get suspicious about this dream. It starts in my room. I'm laying in my bed but perpendicular to how I usually sleep. My view is of my wall. I'm just staring at it when I start to wonder what I'm even doing. Then, I just remember that I'm dreaming and my mind agrees. I sit up from my bed and try a reality check, I start to breathe with my mouth closed. It works. I sort of cough but it works, so I decide I'm going to explore my house. My mind wants to do another reality check so I imagine there's a mirror on my wall next to the door. I look in it to see I'm me but my hair is sort of shaved on one side which isn't right. Then, I look into my bathroom mirror and see that I look like an old man version of me with white spiked hair. I laugh and start going in between the mirrors thinking its funny while chanting this weird song that I can't remember. Then, I go through my door and look down my stairs. I can hear this sort of noise that sounds like "ticka ticka ticka ticka" really fast. I call someone out and a guy dressed in a horse suit appears smiling at the bottom of the steps and we both start laughing like it's okay. I walk down stairs and there's a couple of guys just hanging out in my house, but it's not my roommates. In fact, I don't even know who these guys are. I remember thinking that these are the guys I'd be friends with if I never met my freshman year friends. We talk about something and then I walk towards the door. The dream starts to collapse as I'm starting to not think this is a dream. I panic and think "no no this is a dream come back to it" and then I reset in my bed. I get up and I do the same thing by looking in the mirror back and forth, seeing that I'm an old man in the mirror again. This past week I wrote an "A" on my hand so that I could use it as a reality check in my dreams so I look down at my left hand where it's supposed to be but instead it's this weird symbol that looks kinda like a "G" but different. I start to think that I'm not doing enough and I should challenge myself to more challenging things so I imagine I'm with Drake and sure enough him and I are in this room at our fraternity house with a bunch of random guys and girls. He talks to me about some things and then him and I are in this laundry room that's long and skinny. There's a black portable speaker thing that I'm playing music all of the sudden. The song is a version of one of his songs but it's different. I felt amazed I was playing a song that I had never heard before. Him and I are dancing around the room with a few other people having fun. We go back to the room we were in and there's people having sex everywhere. I go up to this one girl who's laying on her back with her legs up and this guy is giving her drugs so that they'll have sex. He gives her this powder stuff and puts it in her gums. She starts making that "ticka" noise I was talking about earlier. I remember that I almost decided to have sex with that girl but it was just too gross. I look around at other people having sex and think that it would be funny to see the guy in the horse costume in this situation but he never appeared. I climb on a bed in the room alone and decide I'm just going to have someone appear. I think about it for a while and someone sort of appears but nothing actually happens. I turn to some of the guys and tell them "Hey you guys know this is a dream right" and they just kinda laugh and push it off. There was this excited feeling I had like I was accomplishing lucidity. I walk over to this door and say that I'm going to challenge myself. I close the door and then say, this will now be a bathroom. When I opened it again it was a bathroom! Then, I said this will be my bedroom. I close it then open it again but it was still a bathroom. I try harder and finally it works, my bedroom is now through the door. I can see my bed. I get so excited the dream collapses. I'm in this place where there's tickets being sold under a large sort of open building that has a roof and large open doors. There's a ticket place and then a place to turn in your tickets to go into the show. The show is ODESZA, but I don't have my ticket. I remember talking to my friend Madonna and some other person which both had tickets in their hands when I realized I didn't have one. They go in and I freak out because I don't want to pay 40 dollars for a ticket when I already had one at home. Somehow, I end up being let in. The way the show works is you sit down on these circular couch things that move you from room to room. I'm alone on one moving down this hallway where there's other couches in line and in front of me. Before the hallway ends the couch sort of follows the path on the ground which spins the couch. I end up in this giant room where there's a stage at the front. This was apparently the pre-show. People are walking around handing out wristband things that you apparently need a ticket to get and stay. They sort of just throw one to me even though I didn't show them the ticket. I start to look around when I notice the bald man is just staring waiting for me to put mine on. I do so and then he walks away. Suddenly, there's this small stage right in front of us with a rock band playing on it. No one really seems interested. We are moved through another hallway and into another room. Inside, my mind is now playing World of Warcraft. I'm this Tauren Warrior tanking in this boss fight. The boss is some weird Cathulu looking thing and he's throwing all of this fire and shit at us. At some point in the fight my character flies up over these dinosaur things that are running at me. I do a couple more mechanics before it ends. Then, I'm walking up the hill to Ironforge. I'm in 1st person mode now. My friend Moo and someone else are walking with me and they ask me a question about the game that's weird. I say "I don't know I haven't played in 3 years." There's realistic guards outside walking around. We go inside and it's just way different than IRL. The auction house is placed over where the bank is with the bank. I fall down to where I see battleground people are. I don't really remember much else. I'm at a party that is half inside half outside. There's a game where you put a beer can on the ground and then throw a spiked hockey stick onto it. Then, someone jumps on the beer can. This girl jumps on it after a guy throws the stick and then they give it to me to drink. I drink most of it and then my friend Kolby is there next to me. He wants to chug with a few other girls so we do but I end up spilling most of mine because I was leaning over too much. I go to this room and sit down where supposedly the best part of the party is but in reality I look around and everyone is on their phones not saying a word. Fragment: I'm at my house waiting to go to class. I remember hanging out with a bunch of hood guys so I start walking towards their neighborhood which is towards campus. I'm walking up this hill when I see my friend Chappy walk by. She kind of looks at me and then looks away several times and I just think she's really sober and I'm not. I get to the neighborhood which is to the left of the hill and realize I can't just walk around people's houses looking for these certain guys so I change my mind and walk somewhere else. Fragment: Really stressed about a test walking around campus. I see my friend Ryan but I act like a don't since I'm from afar. I see my friend Lauren near the stadium and our moms are there talking too. I think there was a dog. Fragment: Dream where my friend Kolby and I are in this music class though it's taught by my Accounting professor. He's testing us by having us sing by ourselves to the whole class. I start to freak out because my friend Kolby isn't a good singer and I'm afraid for him. Half the class goes and then apparently a couple of days goes by and it's our part of the class' turn. Kolby says that he's sick and doesn't go. The professor asks a random Asian kid to go and he's just really confused. I look over Kolby's shoulder when he's working on some test thing.
I'm throw out of bed by heavy rocking and get back up in the dark. My lucidity is very low, and I get lost in the room. I snap back on the bed and I'on throw out again, and this time I manage to find the window and I get out. I'm on a road in a middle of a neighborhood built on a steep hill. The hill between the house is very green, but the sky is overcast and the light is kind of gloomy and gray. I wander a little, barely lucid, and call out Eli. I don't find him and I don't think of using my usual summoning techniques. I see a friend going into a house and follow her. Inside I'm in a open kitchen in gray and light wood, very clean et gleaming. Il walk throught it and open the door. I don't see what is in this room; I only see Eli, who almost fall out of the room as if he was leaning on the door. It give me a little more lucidity and I hug him. Another man get ou of the room and tells us that he is putting together a horse ride. I drag ELi with me to go for it. We get back on the road at the foot of the hill. Now there's a handful of horses and riders here, waiting. A chestnut horse and a white one are still without riders. I climb on the white one as Eli does the same on the chesnut one. His horse neigh and fuss a little, but he manage get it under control. After that, we're off into the woods we can see at the end of the road. At this moment the little a lucidity I may have is long gone, but horse riding is nice, and it feels life-like. We reach the wood and my horse bolts. I stay on its back and let it burn itself out.
Morning of June 5, 2015. Friday. Haywire (Silas Weir Mitchell as in “Prison Break”) is throwing a lavish party in a small living room, though it does not seem all that crowded. He seems unexpectedly shy at some points, almost as if he regrets having all the people come to his house (the setting of which seems completely unfamiliar to me). There is a clear awareness of motion and laughter of the people who are present, not necessarily any other celebrities that I am aware of. Silas seems to be somewhat of a composite of the “real” Haywire and his “Grimm” persona (Monroe). At one point, there is a dark brown horse in the room and a few people briefly pat it. Almost as if in an accelerated frame rate, Silas is astride the horse and dressed somewhat like a colonial soldier. The horse rapidly gallops through the room and leaps onto a table where the scene instantly freezes at the attempt of the horse to leap into Haywire’s painting (which of course is too small). Both horse and man are “frozen” as if in complete confusion (or a change of mind) at their attempt to go through the “portal” to escape the other people at the party. This is because the horse is too big to fit through the picture frame even if it were a true inter-dimensional portal, something that they (both horse and man) did not seem to realize until they were almost upon it. (The painting is to the right. I see the horse and rider in profile, facing right.) Paintings that include a windmill have sparsely recurred throughout my life and always seem related to “escape” or an implied “better” place. Thus I found the “Prison Break” metaphor as such years after these dreams first began as quite amusing if not vaguely precognitive or of an archetypical association I am not yet aware of, although a windmill may simply represent the dreaming process itself.
