Close call with ghost leviathan area I am at the mountain island in Subnautica, and for some reason falling down into the water at the side like a rock. I am a bit scared of the reaper, but then I notice a hole, which I go in, but I notice the water color suddenly gets really dark and I am afraid a ghost leviathan might spawn so I quickly retreat. Command and Conquer with Angela Merkel I am on a sort of flat, circular island which is in its entirety surrounded by very spiky and cartoon-ish mountains, which also nearly split the island save for a ~10 meter gap. There is apparently a battle. It also seems to be a recurring dream, where last time there was an intense battle with mammoth tanks and artillery walkers, now it is that in my fraction the leader is Angela Merkel and apparently this time, after a short battle, for some reason they apparently realize they need to nuke each other, and so they do. Yeah, idk what that second dream was.
Went back to a half sleep after waking in the morning. Had a small moment of lucidity, the first one for quite some time. Made note of as much as I could before I had to get up to help with something. Dream Fragment: The only dream I can vaguely remember before my first awakening. Something about a character that walks around some snowy place, finds something and goes back to the past in a pretty stereotypical UFO. Lands at the same place and stumbles on the snow and becomes sort of blue? I expect him to meet himself again but he doesn't, instead meeting an old man. They talk. They have a discussion about time travel and the past. The man is skeptical but then the other character says something that convinces him and the man states "it's 1976" and the other one says "I came from 2070" or a similar year. He tells the man about how in the future the knowledge of the past, after a certain point, is just unknown. He tries to convince the old man of this by stating facts about history, going back, up to the point where he simply didn't know anything else. Dream: As I fell back asleep slowly, the dream seemed to progress quickly. I was half aware of my real body at a few points and the clarity of the visuals varied quite a bit. I was with H somewhere. There was this guy and his dad, they weren't very happy with each other. The son was dating a teacher, a woman, at his school. Then she found out that his dad was married and that mattered for some reason. I remember walking outside, near these people. They sort of became part of the background of what was going on and I notice the area is by a large river, or sea. There are quays and the area looks like a port or dock. It's sunny and there are a few large white clouds in the distance. Me and H, we walk towards a building closer to the dock area. I don't remember walking in, but we're inside. It's a large room, much darker than being outside but there are bits of sunlight here and there, but I don't notice where they come through. There are quite a few people here, this feels like a lobby, or waiting room, for departures? On the right-hand wall, there's a massive hole and strange rocky formation. I approach it and notice how smooth it is. I look inside, it looks perfectly smooth and the rock is a yellowed off-white but there are tinges of green here and there. There are smaller but perfectly smooth and rounded holes on the rock. It reminds me of pumice and it made me think that lava made this hole. I visualise that happening? Not sure. I walk outside, as there is a door or passageway next to the hole. This wall of the building was actually some sort of dark tinted glass, and I could already see from inside that this side was some sort of canyon. There are paths along either side, but there are no connections between these paths except for the lobby place. The rock is all the same as the one from the "volcanic hole". I remember looking at the cliff tops higher than us and noticing the sky looks green-ish. But as I walk here, I realise, wait, how was that hole there? It just wasn't right. I half realise I'm dreaming and at this point I feel my real body more, but in the dream I check my hands. Although they appear normal, there seems to be little detail and I realise I'm dreaming. The realisation is quickly overpowered by a bunch of random actions, my level of lucidity actually being very low. As if it were a game, I start placing a prop over and over again, along the canyon path I'm on. The prop is a study desk with drawers, with a chair too. H then tells me we don't need them for some reason. My dream awareness starts to go again at this point. I start smashing the chairs against the edge of the cliff and throwing the stuff down the ravine. It all hits the ground too quickly for how deep this place looks and I complain out loud to H "this is a dream, that's a deep canyon, the chairs shouldn't be dropping a metre and then smashing, that's too quick!", half with the expectation that something would change about it, but nothing did. We keep smashing and throwing the furniture for a while, after which I've lost any amount of awareness I had left and we return to the dream plot. At the end of the path is a similar building. We go in, and it's dark. Again it also had an entrance on the other side of the canyon where the second path was. Inside it looks like someone's private office. Well decorated and tidy, the walls had a mix of plasterwork and floral motif patterned wallpaper. The wall at the other end of the room, behind a desk and so on, seemed solid, but as we approached, it smashed or crumbled. On the other side is a lobby full of people, at a lower height, but not much. I talk to H, but don't remember what we said exactly, except that I expressed some concerns about dealing with these people. They were university students. There were a bunch of signs and notices in the room, mostly about events? I decide that we can proceed and I step over the rubble and walk down a small ramp made by the rubble. A girl, not much younger than me, sees me and when I comment something to H she says "well we don't want you here anyway, you look like a scary punk!". I feel complimented and somehow her comment made me feel more confident. I approach her and put my hands on her shoulders and smile, in a half attempt to scare her a bit more and in a half attempt to thank her. I then walk away towards a corridor that took a right turn on the opposite side of the room, but I don't remember any more details. No notes for now, quite tired.
-1(L)-I drove the car down the wrong road after a wrong turn. I wanted to turn around at the earliest opportunity. However, the brake pedal was stiff as it was when the car was off, and it didn't work. I became slightly lucid and forcefully turned the car around. No problem. I continued on back to the correct road. After a few moments of considering whether to continue in the car or not, I chose to stop and maximize lucidity. I made the car instantly blink out of existence, leaving me on the road. I started the Procedure, and stabilized at the same time by looking at everything including the sun, but I woke up. (did not check for a FA) Time: 20-30 seconds -2-I was frustrated with the OS of a PC I was using, as nothing was very clear. I tried to play a space combat game, but I don't remember playing it. -3-I had gone to a family camp, where I saw relatives. I had to accomplish something here. I don't remember what. Later, I noticed a big hole in the ground filled with water and boulders. (Dimensions of the hole: 6ft-w / 6ft-l / 3ft-h) I kicked a small piece of wood in a small area with a bare foot. The wood hit a current and was forcefully ejected underground and out of sight. Same thing happened with another piece at a different location. I wasn't about to stick my foot in one.
Ritual: Went to bed around 2am. Woke at 5:45 and fed the cat. Returned to bed and set vibrating alarm, attached to wrist. Interval was 30 minutes, set at 5:55am. Last time I used this device I completely slept through several vibration cycles (it was at the lowest setting), so I turned the intensity up slightly. The first time it went off I remembered to lay still, but could feel that I had already lost dreamstate. The second time it went off, my mind felt fully awake but I felt like I might still be integrated with my dream body. I tested movement cautiously and sure enough, I could swing my arms freely, unconstrained by the covers that I knew lay over them in WL. There were still a few moments when I couldn't quite be sure if I was engaging dream muscles or real ones, so in order to avoid sending the wrong signals, I started spinning and sliding my whole body until I felt like I was lying the wrong way in the bed. I didn't feel like I could safely engage my legs yet, so remaining on my back (though in WL I was sleeping on my left side), I slid across the bed and off the other side until I dropped gently to the floor. The cat was lying on me in WL (confirmed when I woke up afterward) and the sensation of warmth and weight bled through into the dreamstate, so it felt very odd and amusing to have this remain constant even while my self-perception of where I was in relation to the room and the bed was changing. I took care to note this WL sensation cautiously and with a certain mental distance, lest it startle me awake. The sensation faded naturally as I now "stood up" and walked through the house. EILD: I walk straight into the living room, which was dark, and stop to figure out what I should do. Although I have been trying to remember a few personal tasks, somehow it is easier to recall the TOTYs, so I figure I'll attempt another of those to start with. Most of them seem better suited to the outdoors, so I exit the kitchen patio door. My initial thought is to look for a circle of fairy mushrooms. My cement back patio is unusually life-like this time, so I cross it until I reach the fence that borders the property. In WL this is a low wall of beige-painted cinderblocks; in the dream it is a chain-link fence several feet taller than I am. With the lightness and agility of my dream body, I easily climb over it and drop down. In WL the ground slopes steeply downward here; for some reason in dreams, it is typically a steep hill going up. I start looking for fairy mushrooms among the trees, but notice a large area where the soil looks loose and disturbed, as if recently planted with the flowers that cover the expanse at regular intervals. The blossoms are very simple in structure, a small disk encircled by six delicate purple petals. I realize that I am unlikely to find a fairy circle in ground so recently landscaped, so I decide to pursue the gnome task instead. There are trees all around, but most look young, their trunks only a few inches in diameter. I look around for the biggest tree I can find, and approach one that is over two feet in diameter, conjoined with two similarly-sized trunks to make a row of three. I can't tell if they are three trunks from the same tree, or multiple trees that grew up in close proximity. The earth is still bare and loose here, recently tilled, so it is easy to dig my arms in and start casting it aside. I alternately cast the soil I'm displacing to the left and right and back between my legs. It is much easier to dig than it would be in WL, but it is still too slow and tedious to form a hole of the depth and dimensions I need, so I decide that I need a new strategy. If there are tunnels down there, there shouldn't be any need to displace the soil outside the hole—I should be able to drill straight through. I leave my hands in the earth and focus on pushing the soil inward. As a hole begins to form, I step in and will it to widen, so that I won't feel claustrophobic. When it is a few inches wider than my shoulders on either side, I take the plunge, willing the earth beneath my feet to drop into the tunnels and carry me along with it. I find myself in a network of spacious square hallways, about seven feet tall and wide. They are dimly lit by what seems to be electric light, though I don't investigate the source. There is nothing natural or even rustic about these tunnels—they might easily be the basement corridors of some ordinary building. I look around for evidence that they are the gnome tunnels that I am seeking, and find that the most distinctive thing about the space is the graffiti scrawled here and there on the walls. It is not high-end arty spray-painted graffiti, just ordinary lettering written in what looks like thick black marker. I step closer to one example and find it at once legible and unexpectedly funny: "Hobbits are HUGE!" It does sound like the sort of thing a gnome might write, so it gives me confidence that I've landed in the right place after all. I continue down the corridor, looking for more memorable examples of graffiti. The next piece that catches my attention says "SpiritLA." Something about the way it is written makes me think that this is a Los Angeles-based sports team that the gnomes apparently favor. A few steps further on, and I finally encounter the gnomes themselves, about six of them congregating in a junction where several corridors meet. There is also a sort of wire gate that appears to lead into a larger open space, though it is too dark to discern any details. Despite what the graffiti said about hobbits, these figures are pretty huge themselves, coming up almost to my shoulder, so I peer closely at their faces for evidence that they are in fact the gnomes that I seek. I am reassured by their features, which have distinctively rounded, gnomish features. "Hello," I say, curious how they will respond to my intrusion. "Hello!" they reply cheerfully, completely at ease. I have been voicing my observations (like the examples of graffiti) aloud in order to assist my recall later, so as I take note of the appearance of the gnomes nearest me, I make a vocal shorthand description of their characteristics. "Blonde, bangs, white dojo," I comment about the first gnome to approach me. She is a female wearing a gi (the garment used in karate practice), and though I know perfectly well what a gi is called in waking life, dream logic substitutes "dojo" instead. Her hair is long and straight, of a golden blonde color. Her gi is bound with a plain white belt. She smiles amiably. Another female gnome is standing to my right, so I note her appearance in turn, remembering that the task specifies interacting with two of them. "Pink padded blouse and white skirt, knee-length" I say, but even at the time I realize "padded" might not be the right word. "Quilted" would probably be more accurate, since it looks like there is only a very thin layer of batting under the decorative overstitching, done with curving and intersecting lines spaced about half an inch apart. I note that the skirt has the same kind of decorative stitching over thicker cloth, with no apparent batting inside, as the stitches lay flat. "Light hair, long—no, shoulder-length," I continue, noting that her hair is exceptionally pale, almost white, and delicately textured. The way it falls reminds me of how hair was "feathered" in late '70s/early '80s hairstyles. The faces of both females look ageless, neither young nor old. Neither seems disconcerted by my weird mutterings, they both just look at me with calm curiosity. Although I was able to make very detailed observations on the appearance of both, at this point I felt myself begin waking up and could not reverse the process. The EILD allowed me to time the dream precisely: it went off at 6:55 and I awoke at 7:04, so it only lasted nine minutes in all. Subjectively, it also felt very brief.

I miss the wbtb alarm but end up thinking about lucidity and how nice it would be to have one just after pressing the final snooze. In the neighborhood where I see a family friend talking about something, then someone calls another DC and we head back home. As I get out of the car I look around, my awareness goes up and I realize this is a dream. I can relate the place I am at to a previous dream (near where I was standing when examining the plates possibly after that) and wonder about my awareness then. After giving it some thought, I become convinced I had a lucid moment at some point in the dreams before. A nearby DC tells me it was indeed a lucid dream. That makes me feel even worse that I wasted a lucid moment and didn't do anything. "If you have a lucid dream, then do a task rather than just lose lucidity" I think angrily to myself. Ok, time to do that right now. I remember the hole task and hastily put my hand in my pocket, trying to get hold of something. I feel a small round object and concentrate on the floor ahead as I throw it forward. This time (compared to couple of days ago) it produces a nicely sized somewhat transparent dark hole. I stare at it for a bit longer and then cautiously jump in. I end up on the ground laying on my side in shallow waters at approximately the same dream scene. The water has some strange properties - it's in partial existence and feels different. I get up and look around. The snooze wakes me up.
I am in a dark house with old dusty furniture. I am in the living room I think and I fall into a hole in the floor to the basement. It is dark beyond where the light from the level above comes through the hole but I can see rows of pillars or something. At the back there is something moving. I can hear it and barely see, but it is definately not human. It suddenly produces a small light source like a tiny pen light or something. I can see the light searching the walls and floors like it is looking for something. I get very scared and climb a thin water pipe back up into the living room. I am terrified of being found by anyone, especially by that thing in the basement.

I worked in a very fancy pastry shop. The walls were sort of a pastel red and there was lots of gold trim. Lots of sunlight streamed through the large front windows. The shop was owned by a guy I know. He had a big hole in his forehead, about the size of a lemon. It went all the way down to his brain. There was a Wes Anderson museum a few doors down to the left of the shop, and I was excited about getting off work and visiting it.
17.11.2014Finding treasures and selling Real Estate by accident (Non-lucid) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID I was going into some sort of treasure hunt, but this was indoors. At some point in the dream, someone dug a whole on the ground and there was a treasure chest, it was buried and full of dirt, but looked something like this: We were about to pull it up, but someone came so we placed a huge iron lid on top of the hole. A while after, I went back to the room and I saw that the hole was much bigger. I figured my friend was in there and said: "Dude... don't be obvious." Now, instead of just dirt, I saw light and some pathways, so I jumped inside the hole and I could saw long aisles with a lot of doors and rooms, all of them fully furnished. Most of these rooms where furnished with very old school furniture, mainly made out of wood and iron and I believe there were no electronics at all, even the lights were touches. I somehow got out and I was in front of a huge state and some people was there interested on seeing the house. I figured I could not show them the house in that state, but I explained features about the house. I wondered why I got into this since I do not even work on Real Estate, but they appeared very happy and we went to a picnic table to talk about the house. I made very good friends with them and I figured someone would be proud because I sold the house, as they wanted to move in immediately. I wondered if I could also get someone to rent the house uphill from my own house. I got inside what it is my house, but now it was a bar loaded with clients and I had a boss, who was a bartender but also a Real Estate manager, telling him about the house and that the clients were on their way. I was kind of thrilled and wondered if I was going to get paid or something. I also had a lot of thoughts, very inspiring thoughts, some personal, some I cannot recall and despite I was not lucid, I was in a state of bliss and hapiness for some reason. I got into the bathrooms and I wanted to shower, but I could not find my things and I was wondering where was my own bathroom and not public restrooms that is what I found. Also, I was now naked and worried my "clients" would see me but naked and get upset and not buy the house.
Traversing a rocky landscape with a friend, we descend a slope, scramble past some boulders and find a massive hole. Hundreds of feet wide, it has no apparent bottom. My friend urges me to taka closer look to see how deep it is. Nearly slipping on the steep rocks in the dark, I amble my way closer until I am right near the edge. With a flashlight, I attempt to light it up to get a sense of its size, but this doesn't work. I step even closer, dangerously close to the edge, and risk my life to look forward inside. Far down below, what seems like a mile, I see Buddha Avalokiteshvara run past, glowing with radiant white light. Wishing to be closer to Buddha, I jump into the massive hole. Landing on the bottom, it is a labyrinth of cave tunnels, filled with demon beasts. Most of them are asleep, but those immediately next to me are awakened by my mere presence. I run before they fully awake, but the caves are thick with demons, hardly even a gap to step my foot. I know Avalokiteshvara is in here somewhere so I call out his name continually as I run, waking up a massive horde of beasts, just at my heels now. I reach a large chamber and am spontaneously armed with a gun. I shoot many of these demons and free up some space, but countless more keep coming. I shoot to keep them at bay rather than to kill, partly out of compassion, and partly to save ammo and time. Even so, my situation starts to look hopeless as I am losing ground against them, even as I run and shoot like the best gunman who ever lived. My meditation teacher appears around the corner where I expected to find Avalokiteshvara, and at the same time as daylight quickly dawns. He is operating a flying robot, built by google, using facial recognition software, motion sensors, and laser cannons. This machine easily obliterates all the hostile creatures in an instant. I only notice it now mopping up the few stragglers who run at us from around the corners. Really confused by all this, I notice that I feel more peaceful now that I'm not running for my life. But those demons... Were they living beings or just personifications of something abstract?

Trying to go to hell, I manage to find myself in an old, abandoned mental hospital. There are a few zombies around, so I lock myself in an old dorm room so they can't distract me. There is a medium sized hole in a wall, with a metal cover blocking access to it. If I can get through there, surely hell will be on the other side. I have exactly the tools I need to take the cover off, and begin working the screws loose. There are 7 hex screws, with one torque screw in the corner. I notice a food elevator in the corner. I peek inside and along a series of mirrors is a person looking back at me! I duck and try to hide from view, but she saw me. Some non-zombie people come in, and tell me it's not safe here because of the zombies outside. They try to convince me to join them and move to a safer place. Also, they are serving dinner right now, and I'd be just in time for it. They start to help me pack up my stuff into bags that they have with them. Really preferring to check out hell instead, I tell them that I'd rather eat in a few hours, and to just lock me in here until then. I'll be safe. They aren't thrilled, but agree to do this, and leave me in the dimly lit, damply cold dorm room again, with its stone walls, and tile floor. With the cover now off, the hole is too small to fit through. I decide to just fall asleep, and then I can fit through any size hole because I'm dreaming. I have a few hours so this should be easy. I lay down on a wooden plank used for beds to fall asleep and wake up.
I was in a house full of bunnies. They were filling up the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth floors. They started escaping. I ended up in an ocean in a pirate ship, with bigger pirate ships around us. We were in battle. Once we escaped the other ships, somebody yelled that there was a black hole. I looked ahead, and saw a huge hole in the water that we were spinning into. Right before we got sucked in, I woke up.
Original journal entry dated Dec. 15th, 2002: First I had a dream that I lived in this weird old house and there were two trees in the back yard - a pine and a birch. I decided they weren't enough because we needed a good shade-tree and planned on planting on oak or an ash, but the hole I dug was way too big. I also ran a boating company with my uncle, but in my dream my uncle was some big fat redneck (none of my uncles are fat). this one guy wanted to rent a boat but he was half-blind and stupid and drove his car into the hole I dug for the tree. Then I went to get him a boat. But the boats weren't in a real river, they were in a fake one where we could control the currents with switches and stuff, but I messed up and hit the wrong switches. I could also, incidentally, breathe underwater, so I did a lot of lever pulling and such in these complex underwater tunnels beneath the river. Then I went inside to watch TV, creating a nice seque between dreams... ... in this dream I was watching the news when all of the sudden the picture started to change. The guys from "Megatokyo" had decided to interrupt the feed from the news network and take over the TV channel. They managed to keep it up for about 3 hours before the channel wrested control of the channel back. In the meantime I was very entertained by their antics.
Most vivid dream I have had for quite a while! I was part of a group of divers, the group was a mix of my friends and family members. We were on an island that looked Mediterranean, with beautiful blue water. The island was made up mostly of sand, with some rock and hardy vegetation here and there. I remember exploring it, but I can't really remember what I did or if it was before or after we were diving. I do remember a great staircase, winding its way to some peak in the middle of the island, and some kind of park. We jumped into the water, our goal was to salvage an old ship that was on the bottom. But actually it was on the lower bottom: First we dived down to the bottom and down there was a hole that lead us down even further into an underground sea. And on the bottom of that sea I saw her: Half embedded in the mud was a old world war one steam powered ship. A real beauty even in her condition. Something happened down there, I can't remember what, but we got in a real hurry. Three of us picked up the ship, which was actually quite light, and began lifting it towards the hole. Only when we reached the hole did we realise that it didn't fit, actually it was barely enough space for the three of us. We decided that, since we were in such a hurry to get to the surface, to leave the ship behind to make another try later. We crammed together into that hole because we all had to go in the same time, it was like an elevator. And eventually we reached to higher ocean. On our way to the surface one of my friends were attacked by a jellyfish, and started complaining that he was in pain. We laughed at him, how could he be hurt by such a small thing? But an older person that was with us told us not to laugh, they might be small but they hurt like hell.
Dream - Lucid I was in a room with many other people. There were tables and chairs. I was trying to get all these teenage girls who were addicted to drugs to go to rehab. I was one of many people doing this. We would grab the teenage girls, accuse them of being addicted to cocaine or some other hard drug, and drag them off to a rehab center. We took them in and into a big, spacious room. Many would sneakily escape, so we'd have to go back out and find them again. There was one girl I found sitting at a table in the room from the beginning of the dream. She had light brown skin. I accused her of doing "blow", then I took her with me. She was not happy about it, and was resisting quite a bit. Then, as I was leading her, we came across a hole in the ground. The bottom was lit up with artificial light, so it must have been some sort of tunnel. There were some stairs that led down, and the drop wasn't too bad. The girl then fell into the hole, and out of my sight as she hit the bottom. At first, I thought she may be dead, and I was panicking. I then heard her moaning in pain, so I ran down the stairs and to her side. She couldn't get up; I think her hip may have been broken. I looked up and saw a woman standing next to us. I shouted "Call 911!!" even though I had my own phone to do so. She got out her phone and dialed 911. I don't really remember any more of that dream.
Minecraft addiction I was mining in a cave (In the game, of course) when I came across something odd. There was this hole, and in it I saw The End. I saw the obsidian towers as well as the Ender Dragon flying around. This was not an end portal. It was something different. I couldn't go into it, I couldn't mine it, and there was no frame. I mined around this hole, and found it was no hole at all. It was actually a few blocks that had videos of The End on them, which made it look like a hole. I wanted to go in there. At this point, the dream goes from fairly vivid to a complete blur. I tried a few things to get in, but they all failed. For some reason, this dream makes me feel some type of emotion I can't put my finger on. I think it's nostalgia, but why would that be? I've had Minecraft since 1.0.0, which was not long ago at all. If this dream reminds me of something that brings out nostalgia in me, I have no idea what it is. I'm quite confused because of that.
