    1. Backlog, 12/12: WILD #7: "Let it snow!"

      by , 12-20-2014 at 07:44 PM (Threecat's Dreamtime)
WILD at bedtime. Lots of body vibrations (not normal for me) and then transition in NREM. The sensation is similar to diving under water, and all of a sudden the world is quiet. I wait for a bit to see if something will happen. A helicopter appears. We are flying. I imagine that it's snowing, and begin to hear jingle bells in my head. I silence them, though, because this seems like a military dream, and those are out of place. Once the scene sets, it is snowing

I am set down on a watch tower. A man on a tower across from me yells, "Let's move it, rookie!" This seems to me like a Call of Duty dream. I tell him to extend the drawbridge to me. He drops a ladder to the ground. "No, John," I say, "the button underneath." He fumbles for a minute, and seems like he is having trouble. I remain calm. Can't remember what happened, but think he extended the bridge, because I remember being very pleased with my dream control

I somehow make it across; while I am running over, I try to recall the other tasks besides the snowball. On the other tower, inside a room, there are some dogs lying on a bed--two pit bulls, black and white spotted. I recognize this as my "doubles" dream sign, but of course don't RC because this is already a dream. I go down the ladder, looking for snow. It seems it has all dried up, but I think that if I run around the corner of the building, there will be some left. There is. I run over and pack a snowball. Cold! My feet are cold too, but I remind myself that it's a dream and that it isn't real cold. I start climbing the ladder with the big snowball and
      wake up.

    2. The Book, A Principle, Shocked

by , 11-22-2014 at 08:28 PM (One Up Seeker)
      1. It was almost nighttime and the sun was setting. I was wandering on a snowy mountain by myself, and snow was falling pretty heavily. The mountain wasn't to steep, so I didn't have to climb anything, it was just as though I was walking up a really steep hill. As I continued walking, I saw some sort of campsite, some sort of base it seemed where alot of people were sitting around. Around the perimeter of this base there were many armored guards. Their armor was black and it had to be heavy for sure. I took a look at each one of these guards, and they looked as tough as stone. None of them would move unless they had too.
I approached the guards casually, as though I belonged to their camp. As I got closer to them, I looked inside the camp to get a better look and I saw some men inside that looked like they had alot of power. Almost everyone inside the camp was wearing armor of some sort, but the ones that really stood out to me where the ones that had a glowing aurora around them, as if they had some sort of magical power or something. Contrary to what I expected, the guards actually let me inside of the camp without any problems at all. Immediately as I entered the camp I got the vibe that all of these guys were evil. I looked to my right and not too far away was the bonfire that I had seen before I entered, I walked over to it and talked to the guys that were there.
There were about 5 or 6 guys here that were just talking, and one of them had a glowing purple aurora. As I was talking to these guys I noticed that behind the guy with the aurora there was a big book. The book was black and had intricate designs all over it, and it was glowing red. Suddenly my friend Caitlin appeared behind me, and she walked up to my side and started talking to the guys. I asked the powerful guy, "Whats that book for?". "I'll just tell you that its a powerful book, and I'm here to guard it" he replied. Caitlin then whispered in my ear, "Steal it from him".
Somehow the guy with the aurora heard her and said, "Steal it, I dare you." Now all the guys around the bonfire had their eyes on me. Caitlin broke the silence and started talking to all of the guys. She got them all so interested that she made the guy with the aurora get closer to her, leaving his guard post with the book unguarded. I saw he was distracted and I silently but quickly ran and grabbed the book. As I picked up the book a screen popped up in my field of vision, "Press A to pick up" and I did so, but it was real, it didn't even seem like a video game at all, it was odd. Once I had the book in my hands I felt a surge of power rush through me.
Immediately, all of the guys at the bonfire noticed and started running after me. The guy that was glowing started shooting at me with a silver staff that also had intricate designs all over it. When he shot at me with his staff, glowing red streaks of light would come out. As I continued running I could hear those beams of light flying past me, some even as close to me as my ear. I looked back at one point and I saw an entire group of about 50 men break through a wall at the base, and they started fighting the guys that had the black armor.
The men that broke through the wall were wearing animal fur and had torches, swords, and all kind of medieval weapons. I returned my focus to just running away, but I knew it would be a while until that because at the bottom of the mountain there was another camp, much bigger than the one that was behind me, and a battle was going on. Half of the base was engulfed in flames, but that didn't stop the fighting. I had no weapon on me, but once I made it into the camp at the bottom I made my way through it. I found out that the men with animal fur as their armor were on my side.
After some time of fighting, we won. I walked out of the base and found myself on an open plain, covered in snow. It was cold, and the sky was overcast. Suddenly the entire environment around me changed, and I now found myself on a highway that was somehow in the middle of a forest. Of course, I became Lucid now. I looked around me, everything was so crystal clear. The sky was a light blue and partly cloudy. There was a nice breeze flowing around me. I flew up into the air and hovered a few hundred feet up. Not far away from me I spotted a military helicopter flying towards me.
Within seconds it was right on me, I boarded the chopper and sat down in the back where the passenger seats were. Already in the back was a man who looked like he was in the military, and then a blonde lady that was fine. She looked in her late 20's but that was no problem to me(Honestly, I rarely go for sex in my LDs anywhere near as much, I only bang chicks when they show up themselves lol). Now, since it had been a while since I had done anything intimate in a Lucid dream, I decided to break that streak, so I got closer to the blonde.
"Hey, wanna bang?" I asked quite casually. Immediately as I asked this the military guy next to me grabbed me by my shirt and said, "This isn't your Lucid Dream, so you can't do whatever you want!". He then threw me out of the helicopter. I tried flying to soften my landing, but for some reason I had now lost my ability to fly. I hit the ground at full force. I didn't feel any pain, but I did feel alot of pressure as I landed on my right shoulder.
I got up of of the ground, pretty shocked at what had just happened. I started thinking about what the military guy had said. "What does that mean?" I thought to myself. I started walking around on the highway. I noticed one thing though, The closer that that chopper got to me before I got onto it, I could feel myself getting weaker. And whenever the chopper was flying away from me I got stronger and returned to my original state of power.
This is where my memory goes blank, I know for a fact that the dream felt as though as if it were a day long, but I dont remember what happened in the middle. I remember at the end of the dream I was on my street in my neighborhood and the helicopter came back out of no where, next thing I knew It somehow woke me up.

    3. Whale Attack

by , 08-26-2014 at 05:16 PM (Schmaven's Dream Journal of Randomness)
Aboard a large ship, watching as massive wooden platforms raise and lower just above and below the ocean's water level. People are on the platforms, having paid a fee to get up close and personal with some giant whales. With a 30 foot wide mouth full of sharp teeth, I am happy I am not in the water with those beasts.

All of the whales are ignoring the platforms, just bumping up against them as they swim around eating tiny whale food. The platforms are huge, so even though the people are knocked over, they don't fall into the water. The wooden platforms are being kept at just about knee deep in the water, rising only when hit by a passing whale. It is some sort of specialty cafe for people who want that sort of thing.

Then I see one of the whales bite into a platform, and pull it out from under one guy. A few pieces of debris remain floating, and the guy scrambles onto another platform. All at once, the whales have turned hostile and are trying to eat all the platforms. Another guy is standing on some small bit of board, and jumps with it onto a bigger board that is stuck to a whale's back and rides it like a massive whale powered surf board. I don't see anyone getting devoured, but it still seems dangerous.

Now aboard a helicopter sent to rescue the people in the water, we dip low enough so that the bottom of the helicopter is submerged. I am underneath the helicopter, together with about four women who have been recently rescued. All of us hold our breath as we go under. For some reason, the helicopter has to do this in order to rescue more people. It flies higher for a bit, just long enough for us all to catch our breath. Just when we start to dip toward the water again, one girl tries to radio the pilot to let everyone know it's really hard to hold our breath for so long. But before she can say much, we are underwater again. This time, there is a board right under us, and a big air bubble has briefly formed, giving us a small window to breathe again.

Flying out from the sea, we land back on shore in part of a large military building from where the helicopters originated. We clean ourselves up and prepare to go give an interview with reporters. Some workers are cleaning the rooms. One of the rooms is mine. I go in to clean up my mess, and see a few people already at it, so I leave the work to them. I help the pilots secure their helicopters using a small electro-magnetic tool that just has to be pressed lightly against many trigger points. My dad is one of the pilots, and I want to help him out. I hear it doing something mechanical, but don't really know what. Finished with that, I walk down to make an appearance with everyone, but am stopped by a reporter and her daughter. The reporter is talking in Spanish and tells me she specializes in stories like mine. I get her to speak in English, and she writes down her address for me to contact her. With, "Guten Morgen" I wave goodbye to her.
    4. Fedoras and Flatulence

      by , 08-16-2014 at 11:21 PM
      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

      Lucid #231: Fedoras and Flatulence

I wake up feeling disappointed that I didn’t manage to have a lucid dream. Well, too late for that -- Wife and the kids are up and getting ready and my folks are here too. I feel grumpy and sorry for myself, but I get started with the day. Lots of mundane stuff happens and eventually we all wind up sitting at a cafeteria table across from a pedestal.

The pedestal fascinates me. It has the vague outline of a statue on it, which will fade from looking fully physical to almost completely invisible. It’s a statue of Artemis, and I know that nobody can see it but me because I’m the only lucid dreamer in this whole place. As I’m staring at this statue, a brown-haired woman in her early 20s sits down in the chair next to me, a little closer than appropriate. She touches me on the shoulder flirtatiously and leans in. “Hi! What are we looking at?”

I feel uneasy about how close she’s getting but also attracted and flattered. I feel like I don’t know how much information I should reveal about being a lucid dreamer, so my answer is guarded: “That’s supposed to be a statue there.”

“Well, what do you see?” she asks.

The truth: “It’s a statue of Artemis. I can see it because I’m a lucid dreamer.”

“That’s amazing!” she says. She makes a few more comments about lucid dreaming and then stands up. Her inner thigh brushes my left hand as she gets up and I again get that mix of attraction and discomfort. She smiles. “You should call me if you ever want to talk to me about it.”

I think that I’d have no way to call her because I don’t have her phone number. I’m about to ask her what it is but stop when I realize how bad that would sound. This all feels strange to me now. I look to my right and my family isn’t here with me. It’s just me. I take the nose pinch reality check and I blow right through, becoming semi-lucid but just not completely convinced. .This feels so real, am I sure? I hit a second nose pinch and
      now I’m fully lucid.

I get up from the table and move into an adjacent room, remembering my intent to summon Dreamer. My go-to method has been transforming an existing DC into her, so I look around at the few dream characters wandering this scene and confidently grab the nearest one. It’s a short, pudgy Asian male, overall a really abysmal candidate for this transform into Dreamer. I want to be confident though so I go right ahead with trying to transform this dude.

I press my hands along his scalp, spreading Dreamer’s purple hair color along his scalp. He’s smiling and kind of chuckling at this, seeming to find it funny. The purple is coming out but whatever paint is coming out of my hands feels really clump and uneven. The guy’s scalp is kind of sweaty, too, and the purple paint even starts running down his face. His hair isn’t even half purpled before I get frustrated after a long time trying. Okay, maybe he looks too different, try changing the face. I start mashing on his face with my hands, trying to change his look into Dreamer. He seems to be getting kind of pissed at me for this and the whole thing just becomes awkward.

Okay, move on. I leave and walk into another room with a strange, gently wavy floor. I try the behind-the-back summon, narrating that “I feel Dreamer’s hand over here,” but I feel this doubt like I’m not doing things properly. I call out “[Dreamer]!” (using her real name) and vaguely hear a response, and I decide that she must be up ahead in some nearby room. I decide to use my old trick of demanding that the dream show me the way, and now when I call for Dreamer, a doorway glows with bright yellow light.

I continue moving through another series of 3-4 doors this way, demanding to be shown the way and the dream complying. I wind up in a large, cavernous room filled with DCs. There is a group of nuns near one side of the room that are dressed in unusual red habits. A large number of adults wander the room (more women than men) and close to the center of the room there’s a shallow pit where a large group of children are playing together. I ask the dream to show me where Dreamer is, but the glow effect always seems to be slightly out of view, frustrating me. I demand out loud that “Everybody point to where [Dreamer] is in this room.”

Every character in the scene turns toward a young, blond girl that’s playing in the pit. She’s about 6, her hair much shorter and lighter than I would have imagined, but I feel like this is her. I walk up to the child, who looks up at me with a goofy, slightly crooked-toothed smile. I place my hands on the sides of her head and say, “This is you, you’re [Dreamer].” As I say this, she grows to full height and now she looks completely like herself, apart from the fact that she has the little girl’s short, blond hair.

“Thank you for finding me!” she says. Dreamer puts her arms around my neck and we briefly hug. Almost immediately, all of the DCs in the room move toward, all of them smiling at her, greeting her, and wanting to interact with her. Some of them congratulate her. I stand by a few feet to the side, interested and amused. As each of the DCs greet her in turn, at one point a man comes up with a tiny fedora and placed it onto her head as if he’s crowning her.

The happy throng of DCs congregate around Dreamer as they all walk toward one of the room’s exits. I feel sad to see her leave the dream scene so early but all of this feels very natural to me, so I don’t resist it.

Once I find myself alone, I walk through another exit into an office scene with lots of people working at desks. It looks like we’re high up in a skyscraper. I make some mischief in here with telekinesis, throwing a plastic sign, tossing a desk, picking up one poor guy who’s just trying to get his work done. The office workers start seeming uncomfortable with my presence, so I look for an exit.

Off to the side is a platform with a waiting helicopter, so I climb aboard. Another DC tries to get on with us, and there’s a brief argument about who should get to come aboard. The pilot says (referring to me) “He can do whatever he wants,” and we take off. We fly over the city for a good while and I spy a few buildings that look reminiscent from spots in Breaking Bad. Eventually the helicopter hovers over a forest clearing near a building and I jump out. The helicopter flies off and I’m alone again.

I remember that I have a lucid dare from Dreamer that requires me to perform a Super Advanced Fart (one which is “very long, loud, and powerful”). At first I feel like this will be impossible. My body isn’t giving me “the signal” that anything can be conjured up. I know that this is a dream, though, so I convince myself that a bubble of pressure is forming in my stomach. Once that’s there, a good push sends me into a full eruption. The emerging fart is ultra loud and super powerful, lifting me gently into the air. It feels like there’s a hand or a platform under my butt lifting me upward. I wobble around unsteadily in the air, leaning left and right and bobbing a bit. It feels like I have a jet pack on.

I’d hoped to have enough propulsion to reach lower earth orbit, but I never get more than 15-20 feet off the ground. As the “event” ends, I settle back down to the ground. Dare achieved!

I’ve still got some dream left, so I decide to find Dreamer again. I ask the dream to show me where she is, and a door glows on a nearby building. I head for the door but before I reach it,
I have a false awakening at the foot of a bed. Wife is lying on the bed, completely unclothed, writing on a notepad. I feel extreme sexual attraction and I curl up next to her. The moment that I kiss her neck, though, her clothes reappear. Then she shows me that she’s making a list of personality quirks that makes her good at Jeopardy questions. I’m still trying to figure out how to turn things frisky when my dad walks by on the way to the kitchen. The mood is officially ruined, so I get up for the day before waking up for real.
    5. Helicopter, Lucids, Kitten & Bank Robbery

      by , 06-08-2014 at 08:06 PM
So, I haven't been keeping very good track of dreams.

      Helicopter:
About a week ago - had a dream I was in a helicopter with someone. I looked down and there was fog rolling across a field, rolling in waves like an ocean. There was a storm in the distance, I could see it across several farm fields, but it was beautiful. On the edge of the fields there was a forest. The helicopter flew down until it was only a few feet above the ground, and we flew through a forest. I had a vague idea I was dreaming, and I wanted to share this with one of my friends, so I tried to turn the helicopter pilot into one of my friends. I looked away and looked back. When I looked back, her face was blurred out, but she hadn't fully changed. When this stuff happens, you'd think it would be super creepy in a Silent Hill sort of way, but when I am dreaming it's just a "this didn't completely work" sort of thing and doesn't bother me. I woke up.

I've had a few lucid dreams over the past 2 weeks but I've also been bad about recording those, so I'll just record last night:

      Lucid:
Woke up ~8 am. Got up to use the bathroom. Went back to bed with the idea that it would probably be easy to transition to a lucid dream at this point.

Fell asleep, as normal. At some point, I became semi-aware while I was in the grey fog. I am familiar with the fog, by now. I knew that because I didn't "have a body" at the moment, I wouldn't be able to enter a dream (this is something it took a while to figure out, and it's just the way it works for me). I decided to do my technique of "walking" forward until my feet took form I could see my feet. I looked down at where my feet would be and began "walking". After spending a while doing it, suddenly my feet came into being. Once they came into being, I decided to try to bring an environment into being. Suddenly, the world popped into place. It startled me so much that I fell on my butt.

I was now sitting in a yard in front of a house. It was very clear. There was a house behind me that I didn't notice very much, and trees all around me. The grass I was sitting on was vibrantly green and soft. I saw some little flowers growing in it (like little daisies) and thought about picking one. Before I did that, though, I decided to look around. Everything was crystal clear, no "dream fuzziness" at all.

I heard a car in the distance. It stopped at the curb next to me. Curious, I stood up to take a look. I could see the driver inside, his features were quite clear without the "dream fuzzies" that sometimes happen when I see a dream character. He opened the door and stepped out and suddenly everything became fuzzy and gray again.

My body had disappeared again. I began to rub my hands together. After a while of rubbing, they suddenly appeared in front of me. I was pleased and tried to cause the landscape to reappear. Unfortunately, I guess I hadn't stabilized enough because my hands disappeared again and I woke up a little bit.

I settled back down and tried to imagine walking while looking at my feet again, and holding the hand of a friend to try to make them appear with me once I "existed" again, as sort of an anchor (I am holding onto them and they are in the environment that we are both in, so they stabilize me and vice versa). It doesn't really work and I feel like I can feel my feet shuffling in my bed (I'm never completely sure if they actually are or it is an illusion that they are).

It doesn't really work. I give up and drift into deeper sleep.

      Kitten:

I dream I am robbing banks as an accomplice with a dream character (Caucasian guy with dark shaggy hair, thin and generally unhealthy and unreliable looking). At one point we end up in a production room where people are packing up cocaine for distribution. I have a tiny orange tabby kitten and I am worried about its welfare. I carry it with me at all times. We are going to go rob a bank and crash at a motel and my fellow bank-robber tells me to just leave the kitten outside and it will be fine. I start to leave it there but panic and come back and bring it with me. It's a huge inconvenience, but I cannot bring myself to leave my kitten alone outside where something may happen to it.

I see on the news that I am being listed as an accomplice for murders, but I haven't murdered anybody, and I didn't know that my bank-robbing buddy has been killing people. I decide I need to get away now, that even if I'm on the hook for robberies I'm definitely innocent of killing people. I can't leave my kitten behind, though, I am too worried about it. I'm also worried something will happen to it if my bank-robbing accomplice or the police catch up to me. I run through the woods (I don't have the van/car) and come upon a house there. I know that one of my IRL friends, James, lives in it, and that it would be safe to leave the kitten with him because I trust him. He opens the door and is friendly, as if he doesn't know I've been robbing banks (or doesn't care), and happily agrees to take care of my kitten.

I was in an apartment with Desirae and kept arguing with her because she wouldn't clean the guns but instead would microwave the guns to clean them. I told her they probably don't work anymore and I checked the night sights of the P229. They still worked. I got on the computer and there was porn of girls with horse dicks and Desirae asked what it was. I told her I didn't know. I started playing a game where I was out on an island surviving with a group of people. I was exploring and suddenly started getting attacked by a helicopter. I got into a helicopter but as I was lifting off, I got shot down. I ejected and entered another helicopter. Same thing happened with that one so I got into some sort of tank and started shooting at the helicopter. I got mad because my mouse wasn't working and I kept pulling it. The cord was stuck on something. There were a lot of other vehicles driving and flying around. They had a box with their team color hovering above them. They were shooting at each other and the car that was teamed with the helicopter I destroyed tried to ram me into the water. I pushed my brakes and the car ended up in the water himself. This took place on the beach. I sped back to base which was in a sort of forest. My car looked like a camero or mustang and as I approached the gates to my base I remember thinking "They'd better be on their toes and open the gates. Especially since I'm out here" The gates opened as I drove towards them.

In my dream I was in the desert flying a helicopter. I destroyed a tank and then went underground with a friend. Suddenly, I saw people from my high school JROTC enter the building. I was making skeletons that were the size of action figures.
    8. CL and the Beanstalk

      by , 02-26-2014 at 04:30 PM
Very close call on Task of the Year! I'll definitely have to go for this one again.

      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

Lucid #188: CL and the Beanstalk

I WILD into a scene filled with fleeting hypnagogic imagery which quickly fades into the void. I start waving my dream-hands in a repetitive motion, waiting for a scene to form. Nothing happens right away, though, so I start licking my fingers for a while to see if that works.

Nothing’s shaping up yet, though, so I try seeing how far I can stick my tongue out. I can feel it extending outward from my mouth seemingly on and on, and after a few moments I can vaguely see it extending away from my face into the distance. Curious how large I can make it, I will the tongue to expand and it balloons out in a huge, rectangular shape as large as a room. After a couple of seconds, I can see that yes, it actually is a room…

Now I’m standing high up in an office building, looking out over a city skyline through enormous windows. It’s late afternoon. I enjoy the sight of the skyline for a moment, rubbing my hands together.

As I’m doing this, a helicopter rises into view from below my line of sight, turns itself directly toward me, and opens fire with dual-mounted miniguns.

The office windows shatter and I feel myself being pelted with glass and bullets. There’s no pain, but each impact feels like a definitive hit. I know that it’s a dream but I can’t stop myself from shying from the window, crouching down, and nearly cowering. I hold my hand out toward the helicopter then swipe it quickly to the right, flinging it away from the building and out of sight.

The wrecked office is filled with random debris now, and I make my way past it to stand at the edge of the now-empty window. I recall Task of the Year (find and plant some magic beans, climb the beanstalk, and defeat the giant at the top.) My immediate goal is to get back to ground level, so I instinctively point to a lower rooftop perhaps 7 or 8 stories down and will myself to float to it. It works and I’m pulled smoothly down.

Now I’m really enthused about this pointing thing, so I point at the street below, once again pulling myself down. I’m filled with confidence after this, so I just start knocking out Task of the Year steps as quickly as I can.

I need bare earth, so I scoop the roadway aside, leaving a bowl-shaped hollow for my seed. I close and then open my hand, expecting the seed to be there. It is! (Looks like a pine nut.) I stuff the seed in the hole, cover it over with dirt and pat it down. A stalk immediately starts growing out of the ground and I jump onto it as it goes by. The stalk’s growing fast and since I hitched a ride so early, the plant’s doing the climbing for me.

I streak past the nearby buildings and head into the clouds. Immediately a shirtless, ape-like giant with a long beard comes loping toward me, about 100 feet away. I’m preparing to do something violent and decisive to make absolutely certain that I nail Task of the Year, but excitement gets the best of me. The scene collapses
into a false awakening back in my bedroom.

I need to use the bathroom, so I get out of bed, head in there, and start peeing. My aim is terrible and I keep hitting the seat, the floor, the tank, everything but what I’m aiming at. This really frustrates me and I assume that I must be super tired.

Just then I notice a strange, robotic laundry machine sloshing water onto the floor. Its label indicates that it’s some kind of diaper-washing contraption. Our kids barely use any diapers these days so I wonder why we have it and why it’s here flooding our bathroom.

My 2-year-old son R walks into the room, followed soon after by a sleepy-looking Wife. Her hair is standing up in all kinds of crazy directions, including one nearly two-foot spike that’s going straight up. “Your hair is pretty awesome right now,” I tell her. She giggles and checks herself out in the mirror. We have a good laugh about this until
      the dream ends.

      by , 01-29-2014 at 01:36 PM
What I recall in this dream is me waking up in some sort of institutional-type building. However, the setup is very strange to me. The floor beneath me is ceramic tiling, and the walls behind me and to my front and right are solid white. However, to my left the wall seems to actually be made from link fence material, so that I can see through it. Getting up and peering through the 'wall', I notice that the building appears almost like a spiral staircase so that I can see the levels both below me and above me, and I also see that on the other side of my current level is a door, presumably leading to the stairwell. I run over and exit where I'm at through this door.

I'm shocked, however, when I enter to smell something rancid and to see a half-decomposed body resting on the stairwell leading up to the upper level. Upon hearing the noise of the door clambering shut behind me, the corpse actually rouses and groans before attempting to crawl in my direction. I immediately recognize it to be a zombie and sprint down the stairs. I try exiting through a lower door about three or four levels down, but this floor is slam packed full of zombies and I barely manage to bring the door back to a close before they can stick a limb through the opening. It has to be pulled for the door to open, so I appear to be relatively safe.

Still, I can hear moans all throughout the stairwell, so I know I have to get out. Suddenly a pole seems to be directly in the center of the also spiraling staircase (much like a firefighter's pole) so I hop the stair railing and take the metal pole all the way down to the bottom. I pass many zombies along the way, but seem to come out lucky as there aren't any on the bottom floor when I reach it. Now there is actually another door set off to the left that doesn't appear to re-enter the building and I go through it.

Where I appear next seems like the food court setup of a mall, though nothing is running and no people are there. It's also devoid of any tables, chairs, or things of that nature, and is mostly an empty expanse of concrete flooring other than the long-empty food vendors. On the far side I notice a still-running escalator leading down to a bottom floor and I get on it. It takes me to another door, but before I go through I look to my right to see a long, vertical window to the actual outside. It seems the building I've been in is located in a desert-area, as there are many sand dunes and cacti throughout the orange land. There seem to be zombie sparsely located, but not enough to concern me at that moment. So I ignore them and finally go through the door.

When I enter the feel to me to seemed to be set up much like a GameStop (or your typical more high-end gaming store). Instead of having a ton of games on sell, however, they had a bunch of older arcade games set up along the middle of the store, and the edges were actually stands of comics, manga, and other video game or television related items. On my right wall are four highly tinted doors leading to the outside. This time there are actually people inhabiting the store. There are some my age, but mostly some older than me. I actually recognize one of the people my age as my friend, Chris, and we're very happy to see each other. He explains that no one had known where I'd gone when everything went down, but that he and the people there had been living off food from the food court up until that point. However, he said everyone knew they were getting low on resources, so they actually had a plan on the roof of the part of the building they were in (apparently the door was out located near the food court to this machine) so that they could go search for more food.

About that time, everything begins to go even more downhill. Somehow zombies have managed to venture their way into the area I'm in from the outside, and the scene quickly becomes bloody and gruesome. People are being shred apart by the monsters as Chris grabs my hand and takes me back through the door and up the escalators to the food court.

[On a side note here, my dream randomly jumps to these two teenage boys running through a hospital room being chased by zombies. One of them has a sword and stops to start attacking their chasers and ultimately ends up sacrificing himself for the younger boy. Just as he's being overwhelmed, however, he gets to see the other boy open the door leading out and still be consumed by zombies residing just outside. Neither of them live through it.]

Chris and I make it to the building's roof, where it turns out the machine is actually a helicopter, not a plane. Neither of us have driven it before, but Chris designates me to try driving it. We hastily hop inside and I start pressing buttons in an attempt to make it work. Somehow I actually get the thing started and us lifted off, but just as we're leaving the building and screams behind us in exchange for hundreds of sand dunes, a problem quickly surfaces. The helicopter has actually been low on gas and the console urgently starts beeping at me. In my dream it almost immediately shuts down, sending us crashing back down to the ground. It all goes a bit blurry from here as I black out, and the next time I wake up is to Chris screaming. In our landing I managed to rip off the door from his side and crashed so that we were laying sideways with my side at the bottom and his at the top, and zombies are clawing inside and attacking Chris, though not quite able to drag him out. However, I know that they are still tearing at him and dread fills me at the oncoming change of my friend, but this is the point at which I wake up.
    10. Picking Up My Dog

      by , 10-13-2013 at 05:12 AM (CHiLLEN's Dream Journal)
I'm walking with Daryl, to Josh's mums house in Strafford to pick up my dog, that was getting looked after for the weekend.
I walk into the backyard and see that a black male is working on Daryl's boat. The man walks over and greets us. He looks familiar, and has shoulder length hair. I see my dog Rex in the backyard with a boy and a few other dogs. Rex walks up to the kid for some attention and the kid begins to terra rise my dog by barking at it. Rex looks miserable and scared. One of the bigger dogs must sense weakness in Rex and they fight each other for a couple seconds. I walk over to greet Rex and he looks and feels different. He's hair is longer the usual and has lost a lot of weight. I'm furious and sad at this point and feel that he may have been abused or just overpowered by the other dogs when it came to feed time.

I'm at my old house and I'm out in the backyard. I see my Father and I tell him about what I thought happened at Josh's mums house to Rex. I tell him that a young kid was intentionally trying to scare Rex. My Father shakes his head and is certain I'm just making it up. I get fired up, and can't believe that he thinks I would make such a thing up. I continue for some time arguing about what had happened. The dream ends.

      Dream Fragment:
Myself and someone else is running away from a group of people. I see a replay of how I escaped a car park, in a car.
      I run towards a helicopter
and as it hovers a few metres above ground, I struggle to climb up to get into the cabin. I'm hanging onto a chain that is connected to the helicopter and I find it hard to pull myself up. As I reach closer to the cabin, I try to enter the cabin as if I was in a video game, and would enter when I reach close enough by hitting a key binding.
    11. Spec Ops Mission, School, Carnival in Parking Lot

      10/9/2013

      Dream 1:

I was in school, in a parking lot. I was starting a carnival in the parking lot. The parking lot wasn't real, and it was a pretty small one. I was doing it with N. S. There were only shops in the carnival. Three in total. I was very lazy towards the carnival and I completely neglected it. Barely anyone came to it. I then started walking around in a forested area near the parking lot. I then walked to the sidewalk and saw Ms. D., who was walking away from the school. I said hi to her, and walked toward the school. I then walked into the building and got to the third floor. I saw Ms. B and Mr. C, and Mr. Br. They, along with the school principal, Mr. R., were gathering in a room on that floor. I think the room was fictional, too.

      Dream 2:

I was in a helicopter with a spec ops team. I was part of the team. We were sent to do a mission. When we landed, we eventually got to a rocky area with a natural arch. There was a Middle Eastern building next to it. We then went passed the arch, and fought some insurgents for Covenant technology. It was all purple.
    12. The helicopter in the sea

((Again very fuzzy dream. I'll just put down what I have in my dream journal))
Traveling sea with some guys, ran into a girl who crashed her helicopter into the sea. I found her playing with a shark.
    13. I Don't Even Know What to Call This

by , 09-03-2013 at 10:50 AM (My Humble Collection of Somnigraphies)
September 4 2013 - Dream Fragment #1: I was in an extremely technologically advanced city where there was a huge skyscraper with a helipad at the top. I took sort of a train up to it and got in the pilot's seat and put on a mask. I was upset to find that as I was about to take off two guys from my school (who I absolutely hate) got in with me. I was flying and then seeing how crazy I could get with the maneuvers. My recall drifted off from there.

Dream Fragment #2: The next dream that I had was very well-formed. I remember running around in this place that looked like Nuketown from COD:BO1 (I don't even really play COD idk why this happened lol) but I had to leave for some reason. I remember driving to a small store in the city where I parked and went in. It was really busy there and I remember looking around for someone. Suddenly I hear a pop and a guy next to me falls over dead. There seemed to be some kind of attack there, so I hid, looking for who could have done it. I saw a man in a mask come in and luckily he doesn't see me but he goes to the back of the store. I hear another set of footsteps come out and stop. I look up and see this… thing looking at me. I don't remember the details but it was reptilian and much taller than I was. I remember him from a dream a couple of nights ago and from the one before that. Not really a dream sign, but recurring to say the least. The beast called for his troops to kill everyone in the store and said, "You'll see." I saw three wolf-like creatures come flying out and make short work of all the other shop-goers, but I booked it and ran as fast as I could. Somehow I managed to get away but my car was gone. I was still being chased so I jumped into this guys car and screamed at him to go. He did and somehow I made it away. It was one of the most exhilarating feelings ever! I remember being drawn back to a park in the city where my friend was (I instinctively knew he was there) so I had the man drop me off there. As soon as I got out of the car, one of those wolf things jumped out and bit me in the hand. It didn't really hurt, but I guess my sleeping mind pretended it did because it did not feel good. I ended up getting away from it, but suddenly I turn a corner and there is that beast again. He looks at me, and then takes out a gun. I back away, but he ends up shooting me. My dream seems to go black and I wake up. I realize I am sitting on the ground where I was when I "died". The guy is standing there and immediately lucidity hits me like a train. He nods his head and I try to ask him something, but he says "Talk to me later." and walks away. I walk around for a few minutes, trying to add in detail and such, but I end up waking up. Thank god I didn't ruin it by trying to fly or something.
    14. The Path

by , 08-31-2013 at 04:38 PM (My Humble Collection of Somnigraphies)
August 31 2013 - Dream Fragment #1: I remember seeing people that I knew, and then the dream transitioning into an apocalyptic dream ( one of these again) with me running down a path. I got to a sort of old cottage-type place where I saw all of these warriors that tried to kill me. Apparently I was more badass in this dream than in the one last night because I outran them and got to a car at the end of the driveway. I was driving for a long while, and now my memory fades out.

Dream Fragment #2: I remember seeing all of these very nice houses from an aerial viewpoint. Somehow it transitioned back to me sitting at a desk somewhere. I looked over and saw my ex-girlfriend IWL. She put her are around my shoulders and I almost flipped out. "Why are you doing this?" I asked her. She replied in some way but I really don't remember now. My dream's viewpoint shifted out to the sky again and it showed a little place to put your boat next to a very luxurious mansion. I heard here say that if I start going out with her she'd give me a house. I remember refusing it (?) and then I woke up soon.
    15. Robot War

by , 08-26-2013 at 12:19 PM (The Dream Magic Experiment)
Two parallel universes. In one universe, I was single. In another, I was married with kids. Transport.

Student. Koreans. Karaoke. Field. A kid. Parallel word. Hiding food.

Batman. Helicopter. VTOL plane. Building or house. Shield.

I was partially aware that I was dreaming, and I was trying to interpret my dream while I was dreaming. I was telling myself about people who are just looking for someone to apologize to. I was looking at a hallway.

Robot fight. Five humans who are 'embedded' with robot structures. Cyborgs. Like a hull with tentacles. It connects them to this super cool, white-colored robot. I saw one of them, a female, lying dead still attached to her robot. Water world. Animated move-like scene.

I was with a group. We were on a couch. I was lying down. They're beside me, talking. They talked about how only 3 out of 5 survived, and one who died was the daughter of some super rich person.
