    1. Another Haunted House Dream

      by , 11-11-2013 at 07:36 PM
I dream about a man... he is fairly wealthy, he's a respected lawyer. He's tall, with pale skin, blue eyes and very short blond hair. Something happens - he has a mental breakdown, or something - and he loses his job, and everything he owns, and ends up homeless.

Rather than hang around the city, where people might recognize him, he heads out into a more rural area. He's always looking for somewhere to hide in order to sleep... bushes, thick brush, etc. The landscape is very Midwest. It's harder than you'd think, partly because farmers pay attention to what's going on on their land, and partly because in order to be able to get any of the stuff he needs to survive, he still needs to stay near the highway. He's sleeping in some brush when his ex-wife recognizes him one day, and it's very uncomfortable.

He makes friends with a kid who wanders around the countryside. The kid is a little boy, also blond... he has run away from home. Even so, his family is very poor. The two of them find the dilapidated ruins of an old house. A company started building houses, but never finished them because the economy tanked and they ran out of money. A little girl lives in one of the other half-built, decaying houses.

"Their" house has graying wood siding with peeling blue paint. It has 3 floors. It's mostly unfinished, without a roof or anything, although it does have a trapdoor up to the attic. Naturally, because this is one of my dreams, the house is haunted.

The lawyer guy camps out in the attic for a while. The kid takes one of the downstairs bedrooms... despite being half-built, the house still has broken down looking beds in its bedrooms. Lawyer guy has lots of sheets of paper that he likes to arrange in stacks. After a while, the attic gets too uncomfortable because it's too haunted. The kid feels things pull on his leg all of the time. But it's shelter and sleeping out in the elements is still worse.

The kid's mom eventually shows up. She decides that maybe she'd like to buy the house and fix it up. She realizes that the lawyer guy is camping out there... he's worried about what she'll think about him hanging out with her kid, if she thinks he's dangerous, even though he cares about the kid a lot.

There's another kid, a shitty rich kid, who likes to pick on the poor kid. They have a competition involving bottle rockets, and the mean kid sabotages the poor kid's rocket. The poor kid is distraught, because making his rocket cost him a lot of money (for him).

The kid has a crush on a girl, a mutual friend of theirs... she's a bit chunky, with brown hair that goes past her shoulders. One day she starts flirting with him, kissing him, etc... he figures out she had a fight with her boyfriend (the rich kid) and she's just doing this as "revenge". He gets pissed, and tells her to get lost.

Somehow, he ends up falling down an embankment next to the house. He feels something try to shove him into the highway. He grabs onto a tree, but feels it trying to peel his fingers from around the trunk.

      I wake up.

    2. House Unfolded

      by , 11-10-2013 at 05:32 AM
Original entry dated Feb. 16, 2002:

      Nightmare #1:
I had a nightmare that I was in this deserted ruined city-place, and there was nuclear ash everywhere. The city was quasi-inhabited by the ghosts of children, who told me that I couldn't leave because nobody leaves. I tried to leave anyway, by climbing over a crumbled wall and biking down a deserted and shattered highway. I could bike a LOT faster in my dream than in reality - in fact, I was amazed by the speed at which I was going. There was something nameless and terrifying behind me, and I didn't want to look back because I knew that if I did I'd see nothing there but a tremendous wall of brute evil force... like a visual shock-wave from a bomb blast... and then I opened up my eyes, I was lying in bed in the pitch-black and felt something sitting at the edge of my bed. Something like a man but not a man. It terrified the hell out of me. I could feel it there like... a dead weight... solid as a rock. I was paralyzed with fear, but finally gathered the courage to lunge for the light. When I turned it on - of course nothing was there. Perhaps that was when I really woke up and the nightmare ended, or at least I hope so.

      Nightmare #2:
There was a house that was - how can I put it? - unfolded. It existed in more than three dimensions, so to speak, and was very frightening to experience. There were ghosts living in it. There seem to be a lot of ghosts in my dreams. One of them was a sort of... respectable old gentleman, who would be kindly if he weren't so sinister in a way. The house was a labyrinth, and I kept getting lost and becoming very afraid.

      Nightmare #3:
I had a nightmare that I had died. In it, my mother and brother and I lived in an old Victorian mansion. I couldn't move on, and wanted very badly to communicate with them, but the only time I could was that split second when they hovered between sleep and waking. At night I was chased by hell-hounds, and was sort of held back by things that I thought of in my dream as "death-bones".
    3. Lucid #1 a couple weeks ago

by , 05-16-2013 at 01:58 AM (Leaving the matrix)
(DILD) I was in some weird mansion type place, half scary ride looking and half red-light district looking. Some woman with strawberry blonde hair and tattoos walks up to me singing and I think that my cousin might like her music (then i became lucid for some reason) I realize i am dreaming and when I turn a corner i decide to try to change the scene, I open a door and try to picture something but i couldn't think of a good scene, so i ended up at my grandmas house. it's dark out though. I don't go to see my grandparents or anything though, instead I decide to work on my flying, I'm not very good at it yet. I put my arms in the air like super man and take off fast, but then I start to fall backwards back to earth, the feeling is horrible like the tickle feeling on a roller-coaster. I try again and try to go up and straight instead of straight up then falling back down. As I'm practicing my flying I see things in the dark, such as shadow men and yellowish white rotted skinned men and they're running from behind tree to tree slowly getting closer to me, I think that they're just something i created out of nervousness so I decide to change scenes again, i take off into the air shitfully and the scene changes into some mall filled with a lot of people. I fly to the second story and go into and ice cream parlor (my lucidity fades back into non lucid dreaming) I notice big line at each ice cream flavor and I can't see what flavors there are so I get irritated and smack them all in the back of the head and then they chase me around the shop and each go around i try to get a look at the flavors, i really wanted pistachio ice cream. (i woke up)

    4. -The Gifts and the Horrors-

by , 03-25-2013 at 04:06 AM (Of Distant Lands and Homely Fiction)
      Part I: The Gifts

I was at my dad's small apartment, laying on my bed for some reason, and my father came in with a huge box, wrapped in plain blue paper. From there, he laid it next to me, saying "Here you go, son. I'm giving you this because I'm proud of ya." and I quickly opened the large present.

Inside was a rather old-looking computer, save for the fact that it was the color purple and had a transparent covering to it. He said it was something called "The Chat Messenger" or something. It did two things that I know of--chat and watch movies. I did the first thing, chatting nonsense with others before turning on the movie.

It was a horror flick, which is how the next part begins.

      Part II: The Horrors

I was in this movie for some reason. Much like me real self, I was tall, white and of medium attraction, though I had long blonde hair instead of my short brown hair that I actually have. I was with a group of friends at this vacation spot, each one I didn't recognize very well and all seemed like jerks. It was four guys, including myself, and two girls, one that seemed to have the hots for me. That, or we were just really close friends. We flirted like couples, though passed it off as friendly chit chat. She's the only one I remember interacting with in the dream, a blonde-headed tan girl with big cheeks and a cute face, always wearing a white t-shirt with a rather large bust.

One night, in our hotel room that we all stayed in, I recommended we go try the haunted house across the way, and we looked at it through the window. Lighting and rain poured over it, and nothing else. Skeletons came out of the windows and went back in. It was certainly haunted.

The next morning we went into an elevator, the group of us waiting to get to the haunted house. Through this time, someone was chatting something that I wasn't listening to, arms crossed. My elbow was nudged into one of the blonde chick's breasts, and she looked at me with a sarcastically amused grin, pulling my elbow away and mouthing "Sorry!" so not to interrupt the guy talking. We both seemed rather calm about it, her chuckling a bit afterwards.

We eventually got to the house, stepping inside and going into one of the rooms. It was like an apartment; fair sized and old-looking, clothes and other knick-knacks scattered along the floor. The group was searching around, making jokes about who was the most scared, though out of a closet came a pale-skinned zombie boy dressed like a cowboy, crawling and almost biting on to one of my friends' legs. Someone came up and began smashing his head with his foot, soon the only thing that was left was a battered mesh of red and white. I covered up the body with a chair, though another zombie came in and shot one of my friends, then grabbed another and took them into the floor. One came out of the TV and took another one, and then one grabbed my leg. I didn't feel anything at first, though the longer it went on, the more painful it got. I started screaming, and then I woke up.

      Notes:

My dad would never be this nice.
The pain on my leg was quite intense and felt very real.
Apart from the pain, I wasn't very scared at all.

      Interpretation:

I'm scared of people, or something.
    5. Bike Ghosts

      by , 03-11-2013 at 04:00 PM
Original entry dated Feb. 16, 2002:
Regarding several dreams taking place over a period of time:

I had a dream that D__ and I went to buy a new bike. I was gonna trade in my old one. I wound up with a pink one with this weird little engine-thing attached. Anyway, where we lived was this scary supernatural world. Like, the laundry room - nobody went in after dark. If you opened up three of the washers, you'd find creepy, on the verge of horrifying, things. But if you opened the fourth washer, you saw something so incredibly and awesomely terrible that NOBODY was willing to go anywhere NEAR that washer (much less open it). There was a little girl ghost in a bonnet who would wander around collecting change for my laundry for me, and I always warned her not to go into the laundry room at night, and to go nowhere near the fourth washer. Anyway, back to me. There was this weird... like... demon overlord dude who masqueraded as an eight year old child with ice-blue eyes and white hair. When the kid died through some freak accident, he decided that he was gonna make the world a really shitty place. He specifically tried to hurt my friends and me. There was also a house called "Harriet's House", which was a museum of sorts. It was now a Londonesque sort of home, but used to be an asylum type place with torture chambers. People would go on tours through there, but were warned before they did. The proprietor was a tall African American lady with her hair drawn back in a bun. She wore a brown sort of pilgrim-looking dress. The rest of the dream was pretty blurry.

I also had a dream that I worked for a company that produced video-games. We were in direct competition with another company that an ex-friend of mine worked for. It all sort of sucked. It wasn't so much scary as really depressing, and I can't remember most of it, except that the rival company stole our hit title idea.
    6. Detective/Horror Video Game

by , 02-09-2013 at 12:16 PM (Wicked is back to dreamville baby!)
I was playing a video game through some sort of advanced handheld console with a touch screen (similar to a smartphone, maybe it WAS a smartphone) and intermittently I was actually a character IN the game.

The game was a horror game with a very dark atmosphere, definitely rated 18+ and featuring gruesome murder among other things. My main character and others in his group have moved into a house that appeared to be haunted. By gathering evidence and uncovering puzzles we discovered there was somebody else living with us in the house. We talked to him, and though we didn't trust him he wasn't really an enemy for us, just someone to beware of.

I don't remember much else, except that near the end we managed to discover that this person was driving every night (or every once in a while) from this house to the pier, burning a dead human body he brought with him (from the house?) and disposing of the remains via a sailboat.

The feeling was that he was crazy and dangerous and we shouldn't have trusted him, but he wasn't our main concern, he was doing it for reasons that might be very logical from his point of view and there was MUCH greater evil afoot there.

I don't remember much else, I didn't manage to uncover the big secret, but I had a feeling I was extremely close. Part of our group have followed the man when he was driving to the pier, and after they returned I had to interview them to piece together all what they saw (in the darkness some were unsure what they saw themselves), and each member saw something a bit different. It was an incredible game.

I remember a logo that came up when the game was activated. It was a small wooden fishing boat filled with about four people standing in a row on it. I think that rather than being the symbol of some company, it was an advertising symbol for a revolutionary dynamic character levelling and development system in video games, or something. Or maybe it was both that, and a company logo.

      This dream was awesome.
    7. 01/27/13 Ruins and Spiders

by , 01-28-2013 at 02:15 AM (New Dream Adventures of Raven Knight)
      01/27/13

      Dark Tower Fail
I am in the sky flying over the Nile river in Egypt. I land on a beach near the river and wait for the dream to stabilize. I think I would like to go for a Dark Tower dream. So I focus on opening a portal and I go through it. On the other side I don't recognize where I am as a scene from the Dark Tower. I am in some kind of underground temple ruins that look like something out of a Tomb Raider game.

I wonder if this is some variation of the Dark Tower world or if I have ended up somewhere else entirely. I go with the Tomb Raider game, and I do a couple jumps from one pillar to another in order to keep off of the ground. I see there are people on the ground, they seem to be looking for something. I get the idea I'd rather not be seen by those people. I see an exit passage over a door at the far end of the room. A couple jumps get me to the passage, though I succeed in knocking some debris down as I go. Some of the people down below notice that, though they don't actually see me. One of them says they are not alone in here… another says there is an Assassin here… my thought is there is no one here but Lara Croft. I do a final jump to reach the passage over the door, though I almost miss the jump. I scramble up the edge feeling a bit less graceful than Lara Croft right now. I hear the people behind me talking about finding something before the Assassin. Assassin? Maybe I'm not playing Tomb Raider… I follow the passage over the door and drop down on the other side. There is a long hall that looks like a place that would be perfect for a trap. I think maybe I can avoid setting off any traps by not touching anything. I fly down the hall, being careful to touch nothing. The hall ends at a dead end. I think that is a bit strange. I hear an explosion behind me. Whoever is trying to get here first is behaving like a bull in a china shop. I look closer at the dead end and see there is a keyhole of some kind. It looks about the right size for a hidden blade… which I use to open it. A slab of concrete slides to the side. In the next room there is a treasure chest in the middle of the room. I open the chest and find there is a glowing orb inside it.

I wonder what that is. I hear voices behind me, the people from the other room are almost here. I grab the orb and slide it into a pocket on my robes, which are my usually Assassin's Creed style robes. Now to split. I focus on opening a portal to my intended Dark Tower dream. A door forms, standing on its own in the room. I open it just as the people reach the far door and see me. I hear one of them calling to me to stop right there, but I go through the door and slam it in their faces…

Note: I woke up at this point, but actually succeeded in a WBTB lucid dream that continued the same dream…

      House of Spiders
I am in a strange house, I have just come through a door. The door closes behind me and then disappears. I wonder where I am, I pause to clear my mind. I know I am dreaming, and I know I had been looking for a Dark Tower dream. I feel the weight of something in one of the pockets of my robes. I look at it and find it is a glowing orb about the size of a baseball. I put it back. I look around the house. It looks like some kind of haunted house, and I soon remember that Jake had to pass through such a house in order to join Roland and the others.

I wonder if in this case he will need help or if I'm just here to make sure it's ok. I remember MoSh. I open one of the doors off of the hall I am in with the intent of finding MoSh. The door opens on a library, and I see MoSh in the other room. He is standing near a book case full of old books, he is paging through one of them. I try to get his attention, but he seems quite distracted by the book he is reading. There is someone behind me. I turn around, certain I will see someone there, but there is no one. I go down the hall and reach a landing that overlooks what must be a living room. There are people down there, they are looking around as if confused. One of them says it doesn't matter where they are, find the fucking Assassin and get the artifact back. I recognize the people as Templars. I think they want the orb in my pocket. I am watching them when a big fat spider drops down on the railing right in front of me. Spiders don't normally bother me, but this is a fat reddish one that is the size of a softball… and I am immediately grossed out.

I take an involuntary step back, issue an involuntary "Gah!" as I trip over my own feet and fall on my ass. The Templars down below hear me and one of them points and announces to the others that the Assassin is upstairs. They head for the stairs, I don't want to bother with Templars right now. I go back to the door where I saw MoSh. I get lost. I wonder how I managed to get lost when the hall had seemed so simple before. It's like the whole place has changed itself. I am in a long hall with doors on both sides. There is a Templar right in front of me, he is demanding that I hand the artifact over. Something drops on my shoulder. I practically freak out, it is one of those spiders! The Templar demands again that I hand it over… so I grab the spider and hand it to him, desperate to have it off of me. The spider feels hairy, wiggly, and gross. The surprised Templar takes the spider, then instantly drops it and steps back with a cry of shock and disgust. I don't have time to view his reaction, there are more spiders. I want out of there. I run down the hall, dodging a couple more spiders as they drop from the ceiling. I see Jake at the end of the next hall, groping at a hole in the ground. There is a door at the end of the hall that seems to be glowing. The walls of the house are moving all around me. I see figures emerging from the walls, and a large face at the end of the hall. The face has sharp teeth and it looks hungry. As if to prove that it devours the Templar in one bite. Jake is freaking out, but he has apparently gotten the key. The door at the far end of the hall opens. I head down the hall as hands reach out of the wall, groping for Jake. I use my Witchblade sword to cut the hands off of the walls as Jake finds a wall of solid dirt behind the door. More hands grope for Jake and me. I cut them off as they reach for us. A door has opened in the end of the hall. A large plaster figure is coming from the end of the hall, reaching with huge hands. Something flies in from the door… something invisible… passes by me in a rush of air and collides with the figure with a loud crash. I give Jake a boost forward (up?) through the door. Roland grasps his hands and pulls him through. He reaches back for me, but I don't make it before I wake up.
    8. The Doctor and the Haunted House

      by , 10-12-2012 at 03:27 PM
I'm Donna from Doctor Who and I'm with River and the tenth doctor. He asks us a math problem (I think it was something like "what do you need four of to make twelve?) that I could not answer because I couldn't remember if he'd said "what do you need four of" or "what do you need two of".

We arrived outside of this haunted house that had a maze in the front. I knew in my gut that the maze was insolvable, so I told the doctor (who was suddenly the 9th doctor) that we should just go around the maze to the side door. He argued that it would take too long, so he and River went into the maze while I (and someone else?) went took the long way around. When I finally got to the house, I took a few steps inside before the ghost of a little boy said "hello" or something like that, and I ran out, deciding I'd get the doctor before going inside again because it was scary.

When I finally got back to the hill that the TARDIS was parked on, I called down to the Doctor and River who were still in the maze, saying that I had made it to the house but had come back for them. They didn't believe me and wanted to complete the maze. Frustrated, I went back to the house but could not get inside because the ghosts wouldn't let me.

At some earlier point in the dream, I was on a spaceship.

At some later point, I'm in a van with my parents and my grandparents.
    9. Maggots; Demon House

      by , 09-14-2012 at 02:37 AM (* The Sandman's Dream Journal o/***)
      Maggots

I think I was in my Dad's old house. It had been neglected. IWL I feel this has something to do with my father having passed. That's not based on dream interpretation formula, but my general sense and emotion.

There were some kind of worms and or maggots on a wet floor. I didn't want to think about cleaning it up, but this was disgusting, so I resigned myself to clean the mess, but at that point the dream ended.

      Demon House

I might call this the Haunted house, the house I dreamed of has become a recurring house in my "nightmares." The scariest dream was the first time I dreamed it. There is a big house and inside it's trashed. It makes leaving hard when it comes time to escape the demon. The house is also huge, so you have a long way to go when it's time to run away.

This night I approached a different door, but I knew it went to this demon house. I was trying to explain to a DC that this house really WAS haunted, stressing there was a demon in the house.

I don't mind this kind of nightmare now, but this house is peculiarly scary. As with my childhood monster, the demon never shows himself. He is simply waking up very slowly--but once he sees you, you are (would be) screwed.

    10. 07/08/12, Haunted Mansion

by , 07-08-2012 at 09:07 PM (New Dream Adventures of Raven Knight)
I am in what looks like a huge and luxurious mansion. It is a bit in disrepair, but still looks like it is overall good condition. Just a bit dirty and dusty. The walls are lined with shelves that display collections of various objects. I don't remember a lot of the items on the shelves, just that they struck me as interesting at the time. The items I do remember are collectible toys that are still mint in package, I think to myself that my ex boyfriend James would have loved to take a look around this place. I have the idea I am looking for a very special item, a treasure of some kind. I don't have a clear image of the treasure I am looking for, but I am confident I will know the treasure when I see it.

I meet someone in the house also looking for the same treasure, and I realize I have been seeking the treasure with MoSh helping me. He says he hasn't yet found the treasure. I see something moving out of the corner of my eye. Is it another person helping us? No, it is most certainly a zombie. This old mansion is a perfect place for zombies to be roaming. I lead MoSh to the next room without alarming him about zombies.

This room is filled with old books on more old shelves. It is pretty cool, actually. I would like to look through some of the old books, but I am certain there are still zombies stalking us. MoSh suggests the treasure might be buried in the back yard. I tell him we can go check, glad for a reason to get out of the house full of zombies. We leave the library just as I see movement of something entering the room behind us.

MoSh and I pass through a kitchen and into what I am assuming is the back yard. He has suggested we dig, but I have no shovel. And in addition to that, the back yard is huge. There are many trees, and it is dark outside. I wonder how we are supposed to find anything in all that. I think maybe we should find a shovel first. I see a tool shed not far away, so we both head that way. MoSh is looking around nervously. I also feel like we are being stalked. Are there more zombies out here? Of course there are! They wouldn't stay in the house, they would follow us outside to catch us. I look around for any sign of the zombies I can feel watching us. And since MoSh also seems to notice something, I know for a fact it's not just my imagination.

MoSh and I are heading towards the tool shed when I hear something behind us, between us and the house. We've been cut off from shelter. I hear more things off to the side. Am I being paranoid, or are they real? I look to MoSh for some kind of confirmation, but he says nothing. I'm not sure if he even is aware of my presence any more, he is looking around a lot as if he also knows we are being followed. I tell him we need to defend ourselves. I don't get any response. Has MoSh become a zombie? I don't know what I'll do if he has become a zombie… but I don't need to figure that out since I wake.

      Dream 1

We are outside by a big Market, we are standing by a tunnel. There is a big crowd around us and all the people are pushing past trying to cause mayhem this way 2 men that want to grab my youngest J can grab her without me noticing and take her from me. My hubby and my other Daughters are with me. One man says something, my hubby replies sarcastically "yeah mate" the other man now says something and my hubby says "come on then!!" but the 2 men carry on through the crowd and they go into the tunnel. Me, my hubby and my eldest L need to try and catch the men and other baddies. L is in a room with my hubby and my hubby ties L to a chair as bait for them. I do the same but I have to sit on some sort of stapler and cover it up with flowers. Myself and L are both in seperate rooms but I can see L. I'm feeling really depressed and I'm making flowers up. My hubby tries to talk to me but I don't talk back, he's being really nice to me but I'm feeling so depressed and won't respond. ((Dream Skip))
My hubby takes us somewhere in the car and my Mom & Dad pull up beside us. I get out the car and run to my Dad, I hug him tight & cry. ((Dream Skip))
We are now back in the rooms. L is on the chair in one room and I am in the room next to her. I try and sit on the stapler to hide it ((it's our weapon )) I put flowers over it aswell but the flowers suddenly catch on fire, I move them and they are ok again. I look at where I'm sitting and realise that I'm actually sitting on our big silver bin. I put the flowers back over the stapler again, and again they set on fire, I move them and they are ok again. I think to myself "the metal bin must be too hot for them!" there is lots of smoke about from the fire and I'm trying to waft it away. My hubby comes in and says "where's all this smoke come from?" I'm scared incase he goes mad because I burnt the flowers but he's not angry he's just nice to me. My hubby pouts for a kiss and says something funny and I almost smile.

      Dream 2

I'm in a house and there is a man trying to kill me. Someone now says that the House is Haunted and I think it's his fault. The House now shakes and everything moves, I say "ohh my god look at the floor, it's wrecked!" the floor is all cracked and split. I am now sitting in a car inside the house, the bloke driving rams it into the wall of the House. Everyone gets out of the car but they have to lift me out. I pretend to be dead but a girl says "look, she's alive" so after a few minutes I pretend to come round. I get up and rub my eyes, I see the mans keys hanging from a hook high up on the wall so I fly up to them and hover above him and I tease him with his keys . I now see an opportunity to kill him so I get close behind him and snap his neck. I'm so angry with him that I pick him up ((he's now turned into a small doll)) and I squeeze the dolls head untill his eyes pop out!!! ((Dream Skip))
I am in a hallway and there is water everywhere, it's a market place but in the isles full of water people are paddling and swimming, the water is quite deep. My hubby is in the water next to me, he dives under and I quickly move away from him, I'm scared he might pull me under. I go to the sweet stall and look at all the sweets, I look for the old TCP flavoured bubble gum that I used to love as a child, after a short search I see some. I now see my Mom & Dad in a camper van, my Dad asks what I'm up to but I don't answer and just wander off.

      Haunted House...Again!
My previous dream about this house is here

In neither dream do I convey how real and scary, nasty, dark, and dank the house was, or how real the deamon seemed. The feeling of impending doom was ridiculous.

This particular house is a recurring dream now. There is a "dreamon" in the house, but he is dormant. You wake him up by going in the house. The house is reminiscent of an apartment I lived in that went through a fire. It's more than just a mess. You REALLY don't want to be in the space. It is dark and there is crap everywhere. It is obviously abandoned with objects turned over and such.

I saw my grandfather who has been gone for many years. He was really handy iwl. I thought to myself, "You can check out the haunted house!"

He went with me. He took a large, wrought-iron skeleton key and inserted it into an old lock with ornate design around it. He turned the key.

We never made it in the house because I thought so hard about it being a really bad idea. I thought my grandfather would be a logical, practical man that would not believe in the deamon, but I began to remember that it was real, and so I was too afraid to go in.

      The dream ended.

    13. Slenderman won't let me sleep

      Night of the 28

3:13- I was scared. I was running around with Dustin and Johnothan. I was scared and I kept thinking of random things to keep me from being so, but nothing helped. Pictures flashes before my eyes of things green with slime or rot. It was far from pleasant. Not much beyond this comes to mind.

7:31- There was a dark room like in a haunted house. Slenderman kissed someone- Jay maybe? Anyway, I was there but I can't recall much.

*So yeah not much to say today. I was too scared to think straight mostly. But I'll keep watching the Marble Hornet entries. I say this now when it's light, but I won't sleep well at night. Oh well.*
    14. Escape from a Haunted House Nightmare.

by , 03-02-2012 at 06:25 PM (Second Reality Experiences)
A couple of friends and I are in a haunted house. We are on a balcony area when one of my friends is grabbed by something invisible, and thrown into a small closet that's up there. I open the closet and she is bound by shackles and chains. We are told that the only way we can free her is if we go into the house, find a chainsaw, and saw her feet off. I look closely at what are supposed to be her feet and realize they are made of plastic. So I feel better knowing they are "fake" feet. The other girl and I enter the house. Immediately we are terrorized by spirits. I am dragged down a hallway by a woman who has sharp pointed teeth, and my friend is dragged another direction. I am able to break free and I run into a room and find my friend there as well. Apparently she escaped too. The room resembles the master bedroom at my parents' house. That's when we hear this terrible growling screaming noise that consumes the entire room. A window is open and wind blows into the room tossing papers and anything light up into the air. I grab a small rock I find on the ground and throw it at the window.

"Leave us the f**** alone!" I yell.

Nothing happens. In fact that only angers it even more. Now I am being shoved and tossed around like a rag doll by this invisible entity. I start screaming. It was actually very frightening.

At this point I realize I am dreaming. I call out to anything to help me get rid of this thing. I attempt to summon an angel to combat the evil ghost in my dream, but my attempt fails. Strangely enough though, everything stops for a moment and is calm. This is my chance. I run into the bathroom connected with the bedroom. There is an attic hatch on the ceiling. I try to envision it being a portal to another more friendly realm. I open it, and all I can see is water, hovering in place. I jump up inside and start swimming. Everything is dark and murky at first but gets lighter toward the top. When I surface, I am relieved to find I am in a much more welcoming dream. The landscape looks like a tropical fantasy island. Lots of green, with pieces of pink and purple foliage and plant life. Some areas are a bit pixelated like a video game would be. I try to stabilize it to make them more clear but that doesn't remove the pixelation. I decide to let that slide for now. I see a couple of tiny people swimming in the water near the shoreline. They remind me of realistic versions of anime chibi people - kind of like Kingdom Hearts.

Kind of like this except with bathing suits.

I swim to the shore and when i stand up I see a little black chibi boy with a small sun tattoo in the shape of a heart on his left cheek. Right before I start to introduce myself to him my roommate wakes me up from the hallway with a huge belch. I am thoroughly pissed.

I had a dream similar to this with the same creepy invisible ghost who bellows that god-awful unearthly scream in my room at night - a couple nights ago. It was short so I never actually bothered to record it on here. In that dream I could not escape, even though I had become lucid. I was paralyzed and physically incapable of moving out of my bed (or waking up for that matter). Eventually I did...but I have to wonder where this ghost is coming from in my subconscious. The next time it happens I think it would be interesting to confront it to ask what it represents.

    15. Haunted House

      Haunted House

Other dreams I had of this Haunted House later: Haunted House

I was with one or two friends in a house. I don't know what was going on. Somehow the house was haunted. I left the house and drove away.

A friend was watching us leave as though from the computer. Perhaps I dreamed that part because I was on video conference last night.

I went through the city that this friend lived in, and that I recognized as "The Springs" and then remembered more clearly as "Altamont Springs," an actual place in Florida. I was seeing this in 3rd person perspective.

Then I started going through the down town area. It was like a five-way intersection. There was a festive atmosphere as though it was a tight-knit community.

      Dream Skip

I'm back at the haunted house. I'm with my friend--I think it is MJ. We are going back to get something out of a room that we had locked up.

We had to go into a room, then go up a couple steps to open a small door in the back of that room and unlock a sliding lock.

Neither of us wanted to be the first one to go because it was scary. We were running to get this done as though the sooner we could do what we were doing, the better chance we had that the haunting would not have started, but I was afraid, so I slowed down so MJ could run ahead of me. He slowed down too.

Some how, he ended up going first. I had locked the place down, so he should be the one to open it back up.

We got in the building, and I heard my FC T.M. over an intercom saying that we needed to hurry and put in the alarm code or we would hear the most unpleasant sound we'd ever heard. He said they knew how to make the experience very unpleasant.

I put my fingers in my ears, then I started worrying about a smell that would be horrible and dangerous. It would be part of the haunting.

One of us opened the door to the room we were trying to get into. There was a small refrigerator and something in front of it blocking access. Dream logic made me have to go to the back of the room to open a door and unlock that sliding lock to get what we came back for.

I didn't want to go in there because the evil spirit was in this room. I explained how to unlock it, and I got closer to doing it myself, but I never did, nor do I think he actually did it.

Now we were back to the refrigerator. There as a six-pack of ginger-beer. We had to get them out of the frige and leave quickly.

I was afraid of a green fog that was going to fill the room. It was going to be like an evil gas preceding the spirit that was going to come get us.

My friend finally got the door to the frige opened. He was having trouble getting the sodas. Should he get the whole six pack which would be kind of awkward? Just throw them to me one by one I told him.

He started to, but now we were ready to leave. We ran out and went around a culdesac in the neighborhood. There was a guy with a camera threatening to take pictures of us for doing something illegal. I was afraid, but there was nothing I could do.

We went around the culdesac and he started taking pictures, but as we left, it wasn't such a big deal.

      Lion

A lion trainer let me get near a lioness. We were walking up a flight of stairs and it came up to me. I didn't really feel it, but it rubbed up against me and went all around me. At one point it got on my back.

At that point, I felt extremely vulnerable, as though it could turn not so happy to be near me and kill me. It got down and stayed very close to me.

The night before, I'd been chatting with a DV member about cats and how much we love them rubbing up against us.
