    1. Gate Fixing

      Evening of January 11, 2018. Thursday.



      This is from a shorter nap this evening, which is typically more vivid and with a direct awareness of what my dream is doing symbolically (especially in lucidity).



      I am lucid, though not with the conscious control factor, as I allow myself to comfortably drift in liminal space. I am in the higher liminal space, just on the threshold of vaguely perceiving my real environment, thus the symbolism is inherent to this state, which uses a common liminal space divider as the neural pattern representation, which is a wooden fence. I focus on the gate and notice the top hinge is missing (which symbolizes the event horizon of dream state cessation). I feel like sleeping a few minutes longer to sustain my dream and its vividness, so I find myself with a hammer and start nailing a small stick into the area where a hinge would otherwise go. However, this also implies that the gate might not feasibly open, at least normally. Still, my dream self vividly announces, “It might be all right.“

      Even so, my realization of the symbolism’s meaning causes a simultaneous shift, though without spontaneous muscle response (as is otherwise sometimes the case). I now become aware, in an offset dream, of a section of gate in undefined space. It is floating vertically, not attached to anything. I catch myself saying, “Steve…are you aware of what’s going on?” and wake. (This is me attempting to communicate with RAS - Reticular Activating System, of which I am directly aware I am doing in this case, which is usually passive unless I have been sleeping longer in a normal sleeping period. Calling it Steve is just a randomly retrieved thread, as I had not thought of him recently.)



      Despite symbolism in dreams being directly related to the state of sleep induction, unconsciousness, and the waking transition (which most people in the world bizarrely fail to understand at all, including so-called experts and professionals), it does sometimes incidentally borrow from recent experiences at times (even including the most emotional situation seen on television when it otherwise has no relation or connection to waking life). Yesterday, I went to borrow a wheelie bin from the house next door, which is presently vacant, and found that the gate to the back yard was not feasibly set up. It did not seem to have proper hinges and just sat there in a vertical position, held by the bolt lock. (However, my dream’s gate was only about one-third the size and wooden, not metal like the real one.)



      The name I mention is a classmate’s, who I have not seen since 1976. (I have not even seen him on Facebook.) I do not actually see him in my dream but I do have an awareness of his memory as he was at around fourteen. Still, the main memory of him relates to childhood, where he wanted to quickly borrow a set of Whitman cards I had, which had an animation (on the back of them) when all the cards were flipped, which displayed a rabbit hopping into a hat, the hat moving about, and a dove flying out. He said that if I let him use the cards for a time, he would “like me forever” (and be my friend forever). Not believing a word of what he said, I still cheerfully let him have my cards. He immediately raced to the other side of the playground to show them to a girl. The girl seemed completely unimpressed and even annoyed, and just walked away. I found the scenario very amusing, but I never reminded him of it in all the time we were in school.

    2. Hammering to Activate the Emergent Consciousnesses

      Morning of February 14, 2016. Sunday.



      I climb a ladder through a trapdoor above me and into a small dimly-lit room with a number of gears that are presently not moving. I have a hammer (though I do not recall having climbed the ladder with it). The gears seem possibly jammed as well as rusty. Hammering them seems to not only remove some of the rust, but rather than breaking the gears, it seems to somehow add missing pieces (or teeth) back onto them.

      The gears begin to move, more golden in appearance, the light in the room grows brighter, and I soon wake in mid-swing.



      This is about as obvious as waking symbolism can get (though subliminally self-initiated rather than with biological RAS activation). A ladder symbolizes rising in consciousness (waking). Using the hammer signifies becoming more aware of the nature of the real physical body (and kinetic energy metaphorically equating to neural energy - as something shaking or vibrating also symbolizes the waking state precursor), and of course gears turning relates to waking and more viably thinking. A room growing brighter also relates to dawning consciousness. Yellow and gold are emergent consciousness indicators (570–590 nm) as in being analogous to sunrise, though orange and red, in that order, increase waking priory.

    3. 8/9 & 8/10/14 WILD Ride & Flight From School - Sensei's Competition Nights 13 &14

      Upside: LD 2 nights in a row for final two nights and a memorable WILD, though somewhat short. Downside: not a whole lot of points and the one the next night even shorter.

      8/9/14* something sexual in party setting? / parameters of video recording / rental house white paint maybe painted in here looks nice in day..not bright at night. / guy being dragged behind boat as punishment. Acquaintance calls out for him to be freed. / While experimenting with visualizing and taking control of HH's, I fall into a wild. What I at first only saw as an advanced dreamlet that would likely dematerialize, became more as I interacted with it or already was more. I was apparently standing outside perhaps in front of a restaurant or similar area where people would gather in front of and there's this group of people including this sexy woman in a gorgeous dress. It was skin tight with white and earth tones in it with the different colors in blocks on a solid white base. Most of the earth tone colors were horizonal blocks around the midsection and bottom of the dress and there were two vertical blocks over the thighs that were see through revealing her beautiful thighs. Idecide to take action in what I think is a still a dreamlet. I say something complimentary about her and her dress.<<DC interact>> She takes my hand and urges me towards the town car that she apparently came in. As we both climb in the visuals become more ethereal with only flashes of light here and there as we have sex it feels like we are both in space floating weightless and moving together as one in a wonderful moment of ecstasy! This continues for a while until I wake up. Maybe 3-4 minutes total. Wow!!! 188

      8/10/14* narrator: gruesome scene but also surreal scene. He used a hammer. / keep paperwork? From time we went to hospital to show hardship. False memory. / thank you bro-law E..for picking me up? Giving me a ride? / normal sport not in normal position, not tired at all. Losing my normal position? At half-time go into school see sexy woman and think if dream I would take action (like I was thinking during wbtb visualization), wake / penises on TV, all different, wife sees and giggles, for some reason I worry during dream that wife may be imagining another man during sex. / on phone with MB, us as witness for lawyer for her divorce case / at school for event, auditorium doors open part way by themselves. I peek in and it is dark and ominous. I take off down hall...Should I Fly?!!! this is a dream! Go for Step3 to the TOTY (sleeping beauty who was also was going to be transformed to Scarlett for my personal goal but I didn't get far at all)...Look for exit...doors locked...I bust through like Superman. I fly super fast up toward "fantasyland" as imagined...maybe 25 seconds and I stop, thinking this is far enough. While deciding whether to step out or fall back,to get into fantasyland, I wake. 189 / JD from 90 minutes North of here brings a baby & small girl...just dropping them off can't stay (ex coming?) I carry baby...big! Pantsless so I go to bathroom find swim trunks. More people coming for a party...swim trunks are embarrassing. Day residue or like baby the other night, also big. Use baby for baby new year in parade. Baby teetering...falls but falls well so he's unhurt. I try to break his fall and miss - too late, and pick him up. Cute woman washing dishes and moving butt sexily (visualization residue for girl friday) I say don't do that...implying provocative. Camera. / I slept too long and still try an afternoon nap before end of competition to try to get more points knowing that the last two nights will not add up to a whole lot of points. Was able to get HH's and interact some but eventually just knock out for the nap.
    4. Floodlights

      I'm recovering from an illness so it was a coughing, uncomfortable, rough night. I finally had to take 1.5 mg of melatonin to tip myself into sleep at around 4 am to get this LD (which explains the melatonin reference in the dream.) Given all that, I'm really pleased to have gotten lucid. I just wish I'd gotten more than 4 hours of sleep!

      Lucid #75: Floodlights

      Wife and I are staying in a hotel room and having some disagreement about the use of melatonin in cooking and laundry. She tells me that she will never bake melatonin into bread or use it to wash our towels. Peeved, I hide around the corner out of sight, and sulk about how unreasonable this ban on melatonin baking is.

      Then we're in bed trying to fall asleep. I roll over to my right side and find that there's a hammer in bed with us! I think about how horrible it would be if REM atonia malfunctioned and one of us had some kind of combat dream.
      (I've had a vague but long-standing fear of REM behavior disorder since I was pretty young.) I'm pissed that the hotel staff has left this in our bed and I get up, deciding that I have to get rid of this hammer.

      I slide the hammer flat along the floor and throw it into the hallway through the gap under the door. It spins round and round then clonks into the wall on the opposite end of the hall. It suddenly seems ludicrous to me that the hammer would fit under the door like that and
      I become lucid.

      Vividness looks good, so I'm excited. I head for the window of the hotel room, passing two more double beds on the way out. (It occurs to me that the bed I was just in was crammed into the kitchen nook.) As I approach the window, I notice that a four-foot metallic cube is shoved against the wall. It's vibrating ever-so-slightly and there's a strange voice coming out of it saying something about "Orcs Must Die!"
      (I played this game before going to bed.) I think that the voice is telling me to "insert a coin". I'm really interested in this but I start feeling confused. Worried for my stability, I turn away from the cube and turn my attention back to the window and my goals.

      I want to make my way to Angel Falls for Task of the Year, so I plan to phase through the glass. I halfheartedly try to push through it, but I know that I'm doing it wrong and my hand is stopped at the window. I struggle to remember what I'm supposed to do. Oh right -- the glass isn't even there. Just do what you want. I simply walk outside into the night, paying no attention to the glass, and find myself standing on a ledge looking out over a nighttime city scene, many stories off of the ground.

      I don't feel like I can Hulk-jump from this tiny ledge, so I allow myself to rise up to get a better look at the city. I'm high up now, and I see a distant tower topped by a turning searchlight, clearly visible in the night sky. It intrigues me, but I decide to stick with Task of the Year. After floating upward for a while, I land on the hotel roof. I look to the sky above me and see a strange array of floodlights shining down on me like I'm in the middle of a sports arena. The lights are blindingly bright and my vision first goes completely white, then fades to black.

      For some reason, I don't think of readying myself for DEILD but instead become fixated on asking the dream scene a question. While I'm fiddling around,
      everything collapses around me.

    5. Natural Pool and the Beach

      The dream is very colorful.

      I was traveling with sis in Bacolod. We were looking for mom. The jeep passed by the lagoon area, and I got confused. Was it supposed to pass by here? Sis looked back at me confused as well. I signaled her to just stay put. We continued going south of Bacolod. Then the jeep continues, and we were in Silay.

      I told her how the place seems organized. Then I'm walking alone. The street I'm walking in is a one-way street. There seems to be a parade or carnival in the area recently. I kept walking.

      I ended up in some strange sidewalk. It's sloping at an angle to my left, with low plants and grasses, but after that, there's a cliff of sorts. Who's crazy enough to build this area like that, without at least putting a fence? I kept walking.

      I ended up in a hospital area. I asked the person present if this is the exit. He said yes. But as I go in, the person from the other building told me that's not the right place. He said I should pass by his area. I told him the other guy said it's the right place. He said, yes, but it will take you a lot more walking. The first guy just nodded. I went with the second guy's suggestion.

      I ended up in some area with some sort of pool in the middle. A natural pool, not cemented. Nearby, I can see the beach. I walked around.

      I was pushed by a friend into the pool, but I didn't experience it. It was a memory. I am still on the path around the pool. I told him he's crazy. I would have electricuted the fishes. We were fighting some enemies. I used various magical moves. One was turning a hammer-like weapon into different shapes. Shape of an egg or whatever. I look like Genie. All bubbly and stuff.

      After a while, the enemies started to escape. They ran after the others. I chased after them. For some reason, they don't attack me. So I changed skills and turned into E. Honda, and used the multi-palm technique. They ran.

      I am in a forest with some friends. There's a huge chasm between us. The bridge (land bridge?) broke down.
    6. [Scooby-Doo and The Hammer Clown]

      [Monday, October 8th, 2012]
      Being chased by a muscular clown with a hammer. We were inside a spooky mansion with Alex, Nathan, and Scooby and the Gang. We were
      playing a game (we were being forced to) where the clown would chased us and try to hammer the shit out of us. We take turns- first up is Fred.
      He's terrified, but we all watch as the Clown chases him off. I hold a paper in my hand. It shows a list of everyone in the house. Fred's name is lit
      up. After awhile, it becomes crossed off. Suddenly, another person's name lights up and it starts again. I notice there is a door out of the room I'm
      in and I sneak off with a few other people. There's a tall chain-link fenced backyard here- I climb up to the top to show everyone a way to get out.
      No one is behind me now; I walk back inside and there's Shaggy and Scooby!

      The paper was shining again, this time with Shaggy and Scooby's names lit up. The clown is coming for us- "COME ON GUYS, FOLLOW ME!"
      We all somehow make it up the fence pretty fast and drop down. We sneak to the front yard where Shaggy and Scooby for some apparently
      reason re-enter the house. "They're gonners..." I think to myself. I run to a bush to hide for awhile and I look around. We're in Arizona- the desert.
      The setting reminds me of Congress. Just then the paper goes dark again. But my name isn't lighting up. I walk back to the house, confused, when
      suddenly it lights up again. The front door opens wide and the clown walks out smiling, a sledgehammer on his shoulder. I sprint for the backyard
      fence to try and climb it. I have abnormally high reflexes and speed and can move on the fence faster than humanly possible. I try to trick the
      clown by pretending to drop into the backyard, and instead running back to the front yard but he sees my manuever. He compliments me, "AHH,
      that's a smart move! Too bad though!"

    7. Red-Haired Singers, Troll Hunting, and Books

      I've been awful at writing down my dreams for the past couple of months, so I'm trying to get back into it again. Here are the last three dreams I've recorded:

      Dream #1:

      Really brief dream which I don’t really remember. Something about watching an interview with some singer or something. I think he has red hair. And he talks about how he likes to hang out near dumpsters.

      Dream #2:

      I’m part of a group of kids and we are all troll hunters. We are summoned to a town that has some kind of troll infestation. We have special troll-killing weapons that we always refer to as “troll-floggers.” These weapons are basically just sticks with a spiky ball at the end. So, I guess they’re kind of like flails.

      Anyway, we go into this one house that looks like my grandparents’ house. And then we’re like, “Oh no, we forgot our troll-floggers! … Oh well, we can fight the troll with our bare hands.”

      But then we get to the bottom of the stairs (we’re walking downstairs for some reason … I guess the troll is in the basement or whatever). And the troll there is SUPER GIGANTIC. So we’re all like, “Shiiiiit!”

      Then one girl in the group jumps over the banister holding a hammer and I guess she’s going to use it to kill the troll. But then, the troll turns into a glass measuring cup. And she keeps smashing and smashing it. And then it like … turns into a dog … and she stabs it in the neck. I don’t know, it doesn’t make a lot of sense.

      Dream #3:

      I'm in a room with my sisters. There's bookshelf in the room and we're all discussing books. I see a book I've been meaning to read on the bookshelf and I'm like, “Oh, I didn’t know we owned that book. My mom must have bought it at the used book store.” And then I'm telling my sisters about a series I'm reading. It involves a bear and a dog who are friends, or something. There are four books in the series, but each book is actually made up of several shorter books. I'm trying to convince my sisters that these books are good, but they don't believe me. (It's kind of like trying to make them read books in real life...)
    8. My Subconscious Wants Me to Exercise

      -I walked around my school looking at people and talking to them. One girl complimented me on my looks. She said if I worked out I would look great.

      - I was waiting in line to try to pull Thor's hammer from the stone when some people started to mock me. I was trying to ignore them when suddenly one of them hit me in the back. I proceeded to beat him to the ground.

      I know this was dream control without lucidity because the guy was twice my size and the fight was similar to the ones in my day dreams.

    9. Bank Robbery WILD

      I woke up enough to hit the snooze button, then fell back to sleep while thinking of being bulletproof. I went right into a dream where I was imagining my clothes were bulletproof. Temporarily I went into a 3rd person view and it was like a test scenario where 3 bullets hitting my shirt could not penetrate it. It seemed like my clothes would be effective if I happend to get shot by someone. As I enter first person view, I notice that the dream scenery is a bank setting. The natural instinct is to rob the place of course, why else would I be here? There are several tellers behind their bullet proof glass. I head to the nearest one. He asks "can I help you?" I say "shut up and give me all the money. And don't hit the button." The idiots eyes go wide and he is just standing there just pressing the button, I could tell. He thinks he is safe behind there. Jumping up, I kick the pane of bullet proof glass out of its moorings. It flies over his head and hits the wall behind him. It missed him, so I ended up choking him while telling the next teller who was a woman to not be stupid and just get the money out. She just stands there, while pressing the alarm. Just keep pressing the alarm, it doesn't really matter, I'm thinking. I'd have a few minutes to get ready for any cops who showed up to shoot at me. At this point I'm unarmed, but I start out by imagining I'm wearing a tool belt. Reaching down I grab a hammer from the right side of the belt, and take out the other 2 tellers with it.

      As I was heading into the back room where the vault was, mummys start appearing. Thinking nothing of it, I start killing them with my hammer. There was about 10 dead mummys before I awoke. There seemed to be an unending supply of them, for as I killed one, another would come through the door.
    10. You'll Never be Good Enough to Use Mjolnir!

      Notes:
      This dream was totally badass. And I never use that word. The weight of the hammer, and the force generated by swinging it and flying with it, was unbelievable. The sensations were realistic, not to mention the action was some of the best I've ever had in a lucid. Guys, if you want epic flying, speed and power all in one dream, use Mjolnir!

      At the start of the dream, I was in an area that looked like an abandoned town straight out of a Western film, but it had a slightly spooky vibe to it: there were decrepit wooden buildings in two (very straight, neatly-arranged) rows going down a flat plane of rocky, gravelly land. That was often typical of Western locations in film. An interesting twist was that in this town, there were shiny barbed wire fences connecting the sides of the buildings from one to the next, and the coloration of the dream as a whole was very pale, getting dark but not quite midnight, and blue-gray. There were some pale darker browns here and there, too. I saw a few tattered smoky white-colored flags hanging on a slightly upwards angle from the very top of a couple buildings. These flags were pretty small, probably only a foot long.

      I was walking through the town closer to the buildings on the right, traveling a bit slower than normal. I wasn't creeped out and I didn't have the ominous feeling that the dream could turn into a nightmare, but I was just slightly unsure for some reason, being cautious as I walked through the town. My gaze didn't move and I just looked down towards where the town ended, which as a whole was probably only 300 feet long. At the end, spanning from the last building on the left to the last one on the right and blocking the exit, was a large pile of shiny dark grey mud that was probably taller than it was wide, at around ten feet tall. There were large chunks of dried dark grey mud in it which were also fairly shiny, and I saw a few large black garbage bags buried amongst the gunk too.

      I walked towards this pile for a minute or so, and got within forty feet of it before I saw two men walk up to me from behind the third- or fourth-last building on the right. One of them was dressed in a red RCMP uniform and had shorter black hair, along with a black handlebar mustache. He had a long, completely silver rifle slung over his back; the strap being brown leather. The other man was in a pale green military jacket and jeans; I wasn't looking at him too much so I don't remember other details. The RCMP man looked at me intently while the other guy just started veering off, running over to the left and completely out of the picture. He probably went into a building or something.

      I stared down the man for a mere few instances and, most opportunistically, became lucid.

      It took me a few moments longer than normal to realize the extent of the fact that I was in a dream. I kind of just stood there, wide-eyed, but then I smiled and said out loud while fist pumping, "fuck yeah! Now that's what I'm talking about!"

      I looked around and felt no need to do an RC, but I did rub my hands together and walk over to the right, attempting to look at one of the buildings in detail. When I wasn't lucid the buildings all appeared normal, but upon closer observation they looked kind of funny. The building was made of lighter-colored wood logs, almost like a cabin, and was composed of two stories; the second story had a balcony with two supporting columns underneath it. The columns were not smooth, almost as if two trees had been stripped of their bark and simply placed under the structure. The balcony was not three feet above my head, making the entire building relatively short as well.

      I turned away from the building after less than a minute, and looked around. The entire location had a slight halo to it, like objects get from the mist when it's raining heavily outside. This caused things to be slightly blurry, but I was confident that the dream wouldn't destabilize because it's never happened before, even in intense, high-speed or simply exciting circumstances. The area had also taken on a slightly bluer tone; now most of the pale browns were only in the ground. I didn't notice when the change occurred, but I did notice the difference.

      "Huh! That's so cool," I said to myself, sounding interested as I scanned the area.

      The buildings were also looking a bit more destroyed than before; sort of like the ones in limbo from the film Inception. They were still made of wood, but the wood was very pale blue and broken up into lots of irregular fragments, as if they could've crumbled at any moment. All the buildings were probably only an average of ten feet tall, without more than a two or three feet variation in height.

      I then realized that I should probably do something fun. Being me, I forgot about my dream goals once again (lacking memory - I had tried to remember them but then just thought, bah, never mind, nothing good will come of that). So, instead I decided to summon an object; this object of choice was a super-powerful hammer from the film Thor called "Mjolnir" (mole - neer). I first looked back to where the man in the RCMP outfit used to be; he was gone. This spooked me a little but I shrugged and started to turn around, walking slowly down in the opposite direction. I kept my gaze up, level, and didn't look down at the ground at all, paying as little attention to it as possible. I then stopped, put my weight all on one foot (it felt like there was much more 'weight' on it than there should've been), and leaned over quite a bit. I reached my right hand down towards the ground, propping it on top of the newly-summoned Mjolnir. I felt a slight upwards pressure against my hand, as if the hammer would simply blast away if I took my hand off it. I looked down at the ground on my right-hand side now, and there it was; it was a good twenty inches long, with a slightly more elongated handle than it should've had, but it looked pretty awesome!


      It was sitting on top of a small mound of gravel and rocky ground. Actually, it was halfway stuck into this chunk of earth. I didn't move my head or body, but my eyes darted to the right, as if I was hearing something behind me. With a determined and pretty damn pissed-off look on my face, I pulled up Mjolnir in a sudden motion from my right arm, powered mostly by my shoulder. I proceeded to swing it around to the left which passed it directly in front of my face, and spun the rest of my body around, flinging it into a man I expected to be about ten feet away, but I didn't visualize him beforehand (he was dressed in a large black hoodie, the hood pulled over his face, and had a loose chain around his neck. My arm ended pointing where the hammer flew, in a straight line towards him, and I was leaned over quite a bit, with my feet firmly planted in the ground. During the swing I felt the hammer's weight, which would've been a good 20 pounds in real life - the funny thing is, it felt that heavy when I hurled it, but I didn't get a sore arm and the throw itself was pretty effortless. It was a very strange sensation; usually these two sensations don't go hand-in-hand. I guess tiredness and muscle strength isn't a factor in dreams... But still.

      The hammer whizzed right into the man at breakneck speed, going at least 100 mph if I were to guess, and I didn't see the actual impact; the man just curled backwards as the hammer hit him in the stomach and pushed him through the air at the same speed I originally saw the hammer going. There was no slight slowdown in speed on impact. Mjolnir disappeared, along with him, in an instance.

      I immediately raised my head to look up into the distant sky, off to the right, just above the buildings. Then I looked behind me a bit, turning my neck minutely, then spun around again to catch the speeding hammer that I had expected to have been racing back towards me. I let my arm drop and once again felt its weight; I noticed that the handle was a bit shorter than before when I looked down at it with a contemptuous and vengeful expression - not directed to the hammer, but the group of shady individuals I wanted to summon around me - they were here to exploit Mjolnir and take it for themselves.

      "Piece of cake," I told myself. I looked up to see a big mass of dark clouds in the distance; the sky wasn't entirely dark after all, so shapes were still discernible. The clouds were rather thick and covered a lot of area over the horizon. But my immediate vicinity was to be filled with ten or twenty 'bad guys'. I turned around, facing the same big pile of mud and garbage bags as before (but further away this time as I'd been walking away from it a bit). As I turned, I pictured a mass of people with guns, wearing the same military jacket as the guy I saw when I wasn't lucid - this was a first; usually I don't remember things from before hand.

      I ended up facing about seven or eight men. They were leaning forward a bit and looked intimidating, but their clothing was off; they were wearing regular military camo outfits, and all of them were very dark grey with barely noticeable lighter patches (to make the camo pattern). A few of them were holding tasers, but they all appeared to be frozen and not moving that much.

      "Come on!" I goaded them. "You think you deserve this, but you'll never be good enough to use Mjolnir."

      When I finished my threat, I quickly brought Mjolnir over my left shoulder and, once again, flung my right arm back out towards the group. Instead of simply letting one person get hit, I was going to imagine a burst of light blue and white, semi-transparent energy to explode from it. As soon as I let go of it for the throw, I extended my arm and held my right hand out briefly - jazz hands style - and slightly curled my fingers and thumb inwards, tensing up, and then releasing the tension quickly. A pale blue, fairly transparent curtain of smooth energy burst out in a rather flat disc (not what I'd expected, but oh well...), outwards to the left and right; it reminded me of a miniature spiral galaxy. The men dissolved into thin air, but I wasn't done yet; I wanted to fly.

      "I can hear you behind me!" I called, still facing the same direction. "But you'll never fucking catch me!"

      I maneuvered Mjolnir, again held in my right hand, waving it above my head and bending my elbow so that it was now right on top of my right shoulder. I turned my head around and saw a very dark, hazy person running towards me, in a rather scary fashion - I heard quick, omniscient shuffling noises that were growing louder and louder, even though he wasn't running fast enough to make the sound level grow like that. I scowled and stomped on the ground with my right foot, which caused the hammer to suddenly begin flying upwards at about a sixty-degree angle; it went from being right above my shoulder to a few feet in front of my in a matter of moments. I was almost immediately off the ground. My grip on the handle was firm but I didn't feel all the muscles in my hand working; I just felt the surface of it Mjolnir accelerated fast and I felt the air rush around the front of the hammer, along with some very realistic air resistance, as if it was fighting against the sky a bit. It didn't slow down though; I trailed behind it, but I wasn't really following the hammer after getting off the ground anymore. Initially I did, and I had to hold on, but now it felt like my dream body was pushing more towards the hammer, and the hammer was being pushed forward by me. I expected this force to even out, and it did.

      I flew in the sky, feeling the air and wind circulate, and I could've sworn I also felt slight coldness at one point. I had flown almost straight upright for about ten seconds at first, then I pressed my hand's grip on the handle down so the hammer changed course; I met some resistance because the hammer was set in its course, but it wasn't too bad. I tilted it down and I was now curving back towards the ground. I steered like this and after about twenty seconds I summoned a storm around me: a relatively transparent tunnel of clouds encapsulated me which obstructed my vision a bit, but then I imagined myself creating a burst of invisible energy; this made the clouds in front of me dissipate.


      I woke up when my alarm went off.

    11. Day 8 - The Battle of the Bears

      This one was definitely entertaining. I quite enjoyed it.

      I was in a really small community with people who I referred to as my parents though they really weren't. It was a pretty forest-y area, and quite often came under attack by a family of four bears. The attacks were always non-lethal, and almost playful if the members of the community didn't get so angry about it.

      In one attack, the bears came armed with hammers (the father bear had a gun-hammer), and in a frenzy, I chased them into the forest. I eventually got lost and ended up wandering into their home.

      It was somehow part tree-house, part cave, and they weren't happy I had entered their home. They tried to fight me and get me out, starting with the youngest bear, the son. He appeared to be a stereotypical cartoon bear and wore a small vest and hat. He attacked with a hammer, and I easily incapacitated him. The mother bear, dressed in only a shirt, came next, and she was dispatched relatively easily. The daughter bear was wearing a sort of fur bikini, and had a much more human face and a round black nose. She swung her hammer around, making it hard to get close to her, but I disarmed her by throwing my hammer and knocking hers out of her hands. She fled, and I chased her down, grabbing her around the waist. She fought back (rather playfully, and laughing all the while), and when I brought her back to the room where we started fighting, I set her down and the father bear (who was the most realistic and didn't wear anything) asked "Why are you in our home? Why won't you leave us alone?"

      I replied that it was because they started attacking us, and I just got caught up the moment. We came to some sort of agreement, and they helped me build a rocket ship to leave their home. It was probably the cave segment, being deep underground, and requiring some serious effort to get up from there.

      Flash forward about three months (I actually watched a montage of us building it) and the rocket is done. I launch out of the bears' home and come up in the middle of my little community. It's winter now, and my family is remodeling the house. For some reason, everyone is out and about and looking really sad. I walk up to my dad, and he says to go get ready for a party. I walk up to my house and the front door is partially painted and hung crooked in the door frame. I open it and walk upstairs, accidentally brushing against a wall and getting wet paint on my shirt.Then, I get undressed shower. It's about here that I wake up.

      I've just realized that the construction of the house at the end of the dream is similar to that of my grandfather's condominium. Altogether a quite entertaining dream!
