apparently i haven't been on here since Before I Left For College oh boy have things changed a lot of my experiences since i started college have shaped my dream life into something far different than it used to be. more and more often i find myself both dwelling on the past and jumping far into the future. because of a rough first couple of years at university i had long periods of short, sharp nightmares that come back to me sometimes even now. because of a lot of soul-searching and self-reflection many of my dreams deal with fears i have only recently realized i have. because of an abusive relationship my dreams sometimes bring me back to a time and mindset i am still trying hard to overcome. i am so different now, and seeing my posts from so long ago i can't help smiling at who i was before. i'm like, twenty years old. i turn twenty one in two weeks, but sometimes i feel pretty ancient. my dream journey is beginning again, and this time it is with purpose. initially my interest was just that; an interest. now i think i would like to utilize my dreams in order to overcome my fears. i haven't been vigilant about reality checking, or about dream journals, or about anything non-academic, to be honest, but i think that this new dream goal is important and will help in my efforts to begin living a healthier life, mentally, emotionally, and physically. wish me luck.
Three Step Goals: 1.Advanced Flying 2.Element Manipulation 3.Mass Telekinesis Personal Dream goal: Go to the moon All failed but I'll keep posting until I get them done! Today's pts. Non- Full LD: 1 Pt WBTB Fail: 2 Pts Total: 3 points Not as fortunate. I had a dream that I was at this water place, not park. It was like a daycare for kids but not like you'd expect. I was standing in line outside not inside for some reason & people were checking in their kids to be watched by this daycare like crew of random looking people. Sketchy might be a better word. My daughter who is pregnant right now in real life is handing her kids & her new baby which hasn't been born yet over to these people. Here's where it gets weird. They take the little kids & put them in this float like device & push them away from the side & they go zooming out of the water & all of these kids are flying around in these little float like things. I'm arguing with my daughter about how could she do this & how insane this was with all of the sketchy people she was handing her kids off too. Some woman tells me I should let my kids go too! I thought I was alone but now I have a baby. Now I'm furious & I tell her to get the hell away from me & hell no! This is looks so unsafe & I'm freaking out & my daughter is still arguing with me. I finally just wake up which was great because I was exhausted by this insane scenario that seemed to go on forever. Unfortunately I wake & realize I had the perfect tools in this damn dream to complete a plethora of tasks! As much as I'd like to say I was lucid, I was not. I think my studying for tasks helped but my night was kinds of weird to begin with. Our compressor on our brand new A/C unit has been out for a week & our guy can't come until later today or tomorrow. Hence we've been sleeping on a futon in front of a window unit & sleeping like that just isn't good for lucid dreaming for the most part. Even though yesterday I pulled a miracle out with one. I did try to do a WBTB but didn't get very far. I started to go into a dream but the heat just wasn't allowing it to go anywhere interesting. My brain probably woke me up out of boredom, lol. So a great big fail there but at least I tried... Non-Lucid-Green Lucid-Red Side Notes-Purple Astral Projection/AP-Brown Competition Notes-Teal

After the dream began with me seemingly scrolling through some sort of texting timeline, my perspective faded back to the dream world. I looked around and saw some DC's watching TV. The TV screen quickly changed to something else as my perspective switched to it. It was some weird version of The Sims 2 where you select choices from a dropdown menu and the game judges your choices before the Sims do them. I remember a DC directing one in-game boy to tell another in-game boy a secret. The boy just whispered "secret" to the other boy over and over. Then I was woken up by my alarm. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dream Goals Beginner Goals: Remember 3 Dreams in one night. Remember at least 1 dream/night 7 nights in a row. (2/7) Have a Lucid Dream. Intermediate Goals: Meet my dream guide. Advanced Goals: Get a Job In-Dream Make a Meal In-Dream Use a non-physical superpower -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In dreams, I have something called "Dream Perspective". If I'm looking that a picture or screen and I concentrate on it, it will morph to fill my entire field of vision until I want to look at/do something else. So yeah.
1. Connect to Subconscious: Ask questions to learn more about myself and learn how to make a permanent connection with it.
Recall: 35 dreams Lucid 5 times
goal was 45 dreams recalled and 5 lucids. Start date was 1/2, end date was 2/2. results: 31 dreams recalled 3 lucid dreams I need to scale back my recall goal. Things were going really well at the outset of this tracking period, but really came off the rails for the last week or so. I think I have been too uptight and pushy with my practice. I will update goals in the next day or two.
Recall Goal: 45 dreams (this is an 11% improvement over previous month). LD Goal: 5 between 1/2 and 2/2. Activity goal: complete task of the month for January.
My goal deadline is today. My goal was to log 30 dreams and 5 lucid dreams. I gave myself one month to do this. During this month I was able to exceed my recall goal, I logged 40 dreams. However, I did not meet my goal for Lucidity; I was only able to get lucid 3 times. However, the last lucid was easily my best ever, so I'll take the quality improvement over the quantity. I am revisiting my goals and will update them in the next day or so.
Upon recognizing the dream state, I will perform item #1 followed by any of the subsequent items. 1. Look around and repeat "this is a dream" 2. Recite the Vajrasattva mantra. 3. Make offerings to the Buddhas 4. Listen to the grateful dead 5. Explore my surroundings 6. Walk through a mirror
For some reason I want to try to lucid dream again. I thought about it a few days ago. That evening I had a lucid dream! I was pretty excited to have one after months or years of not thinking about lucid dreaming at all. I got to fly, and I kissed someone. Heh! One interesting point is that the evening of my lucid dream, I was woken up at 5am by an Amber Alert on my phone. It was very loud and I woke up very abruptly. My lucid dream came after I fell back asleep. I used this information the next night: I set an alarm for 5 hours after I went to bed. It did not work (I had no lucid dreams), but I will keep experimenting with this idea. I have started my paper dream journal again. My dream recall is improving already. I also read about the All Day Awareness method (ADA)-- basically becoming more aware in my every day life, and thereby becoming more aware when I am dreaming. In this way the entire day becomes one big reality check. As I am a beginner I decided to focus on just one sense at a time--sense of smell, sense of sight, etc. Sense of smell is especially difficult for me because I don't think I have a very good sense of smell. My goals right now are: 1. Lucid dream again. 2. Say hello to someone in that lucid dream. This is a modest goal, but honestly I can't recall ever purposely speaking to someone in a lucid dream. I am naturally a quiet person so this doesn't surprise me. I think just speaking aloud will be a good first step. 3. Increase awareness in my every day life. I am going to start keeping track of how many lucid dreams I've had. I know I've had at least 5 in the past, but because I can't recall exactly how many, I'm just going to start the count over at 1.
Hello everybody! Like a regular bucket list, I've made one specifically for things I want to do in a lucid dream. I will be keeping an update on what I've achieved (in no particular order). I will keep you updated if I achieve any with my DJ in regards to what I did, how it went etc.. Only rule is, is that it has to be lucid and controlled WILLINGLY for it to count Lucid Dream Bucket List: - Fly (with wings) - Use magic (conjure fire, electricity etc..) - Turn into an animal (wolf, bird, deer) - Become some form of animal hybrid (have a tail, animal ears, claws etc...) - Fight a dragon - Ride a dragon - BE a dragon - Go to a fantasy/fictional world - Create a fantasy world filled with creatures and people I want - Meet fictional characters (from shows, movies, books etc..) - Go to Hogwarts (befriend favourite characters) - Try getting to platform 9 3/4 by running at the wall - Travel to Hogwarts via the Hogwarts Express - Train surf the Hogwarts Express - See what Hogwarts house I get sorted into - See what my patronus would be - Talk to my subconscious - Have epic background music as I fight someone - Punch a random DC in the face - Summon someone I dislike and punch them in the face - Gain inspiration (for art, writing etc...) - Meet a celebrity/someone I admire - Convince a dream character that they're dreaming - Get a dream character to convince me I'm dreaming and deny it to see if they become impatient (or me, technically) - Go hunting with Sam and Dean from SPN (SPN = Supernatural) - See what happens between hunts (SPN) - Have a tour of the bunker guided by Sam and Dean (SPN) - Visit Crowley in the dungeon and just chat (SPN) - Run at abnormal speeds - Eat something - Summon monsters and fight them along with my DCs - Create my own creature/monster/animal - Go through a werewolf transformation - Gender swap - see what I'd look like as the opposite sex - Receive an assassination mission from a DC and carry it out - Teach the Macarena to Hogwarts students - Streak through Hogwarts' Great Hall whilst Dumbledore is giving an inspirational speech & see the reactions - Play a bunch of instruments and/or sing effortlessly - See how far I can throw something - Make something out of something impractical (eg; make ice cream out of a rock) - Pick a starter Pokemon from Professor Oak and train it (Charmander preferably) - Enter the world of Attack on Titan and shrink all of the Titans for comedic purposes - Enter the Game of Thrones world, find Jon Snow and follow him saying "You know nothin' Jon Snow" - Resurrect Joffrey, kill him, resurrect, kill him etc.. - Go on an adventure into space with The Doctor (Doctor Who)

Below is a graph depicting the results of my first 3 months of serious dream practice. Organizing the data has boosted my confidence and given me an objective way to evaluate progress. Goals for March: 5 LD 40 Recalled dreams
I am just using this post as some places I would like to explore and enjoy when i finally become more conscious in my LD and get better at changing settings. - A calming forest with a sparkling lake in between - A large mountain to climb - Underneath the Ocean - The world of Avatar: The Last Airbender (lol Lame, I know, but I love that show and some of the places look so cool to actually be) ----That water palace ----Ba Sing Se ----The Spirit World ----Fire bender village -Final Fantasy X maps (Spira - The Final Fantasy Wiki has more Final Fantasy information than Cid could research) ---- Besaid Island ---- Kilika ---- Luca ---- ect. -On a Caribbean type Island -African like safari -Rain Forest -Climbing a giant tree. So big that the higher I climb, the more lost I get until I find a village in the tree with bridges and houses made of branches and lanterns. -Swim through space with no gravity -Explore through an Ice cave. I will add more. hopefully, I will get good enough to start trying some of these. If you can think of some more I would love to hear ideas.
