Fell asleep at: 2:00 AM Woke up at: 5:00 AM Fell asleep again at: 6:00 AM Woke up AGAIN at: 10:00 AM Old Macdonald Had A Farm I remember I'm on the farm in my backyard. I'm sitting inside the fence that blocks the outside perimeter of the farm, yet in the waking world there's no fence to speak of. I think I remember taunting and messing with some of my friends and acquaintances inside the farm who, again, aren't even farmers and don't correlate to my real world understanding of them. I think I remember talking to a couple of my friends in the farm, but I'm drawing a blank. Then someone I know (Let's call her Carla) comes up to me and...sits on me. Uh huh. She's trying to sit down it seems, but she's really clumsy at doing so. I see up her shirt, and she's oddly chubby compared to real life. I scoot over so that she may sit down, and two more friends (An effeminate male named David and someone else I forgot) sit down with her. I don't bother talking with them, as I was... Well, too "flustered" to have a normal conversation after that. Damn Dirty Apes This dream I don't remember that well. It turns out I own a whole bunch of little monster things and I had to raise them akin to a pet. I hurriedly run around the house looking for something for them to eat, and I eventually find a book that covers just that. I open the book, it's a yellow hardcover book with instructions on how to raise those little cretins. As I read find the 'Creatures' Diet' page. Turns out they eat glitter. In disbelief, I read on, not fully convinced anything can eat glitter. As I do so however, one of the gorilla-like monsters escapes. I cower in fear, scared of the possibility of the ape coming back to, I don't know, kill me or something. I go to one of the windows and find an orangutan just chilling there. Suddenly it gets pulled away by a large black ape, and my panicked state increases ever more. I hide behind a couch by another set of windows. Suddenly the ape escapes the premises, and I read the cookbook again. The ingredients for monster food are as such: Bananas Lemons Flour Water Mix these up and cook em' like a pancake and BAM! Monster food. Probably doesn't taste very good though. SIDE NOTES 1. I had watched a lucid dreaming subliminal video not long before I went to sleep. So that might've had an effect on the vividness of these dreams or their premises in general. 2. This is the first time I've been able to recall a dream in days, so progress i definitely being made.

((Again very fuzzy dream. I'll just put down what I have in my dream journal)) Traveling sea with some guys, ran into a girl who crashed her helicopter into the sea. I found her playing with a shark.
I was at my dad's and it was sunny outside. I was in my room and had just woken up, I rolled over to check my laptop and noticed the time was "100:3", so I looked away, then looked back and it was now "100:4", I kept doing so and it kept going up one digit. I knew I was dreaming. Everything turned dark and fuzzy, I got up and couldn't stand up properly, it was like I was drunk. I started rubbing my hands together and the dream started to stabilize. I walked through the corridor and could hear my sister in the shower; I started talking to my dad but can't remember what either of us said. -End-

I woke up this morning very early accidentally and for no reason, I switched position to sleeping on the back and after a while, I tried to move and I was in sleep paralysis. I wasn't terrified by the idea of falling into a coma as usual but I heard my dad's voice calling me, and at first I ignored it but then I thought it might be something important, so I woke up from sleep paralysis intentionally, reality checked and realised that the voice I heard was a hallucination. So I fell back to sleep on my side. Sleep paralysis again after a while, so I sat there this time trying not to mess everything up and waited for a dream to form. Suddenly, a dream scene forms. It was a big meeting room with a large table, with students from my class sitting around. For no apparent reason, I was not that rational and awake in that dream, though I was completely lucid with no doubts. Anyway, due to my fuzzy brain at this moment, I started forcing blowjobs to some girls from there. I think some of them weren't in the mood but there were some which had no problem. I think though I didn't get a blowjob at the end but it was fun. As I didn't instantly write down this dream, I think maybe I got one but can't remember it that well. Anyway, then some moment, the dream faded at phases, Once it was all black and then a scene was there with people and things everywhere. This time I was thinking about what I was thinking when I was awake about doing in my dreams, like eating, flying and other, but due to the fuzzy dream, I couldn't. Sometime, I woke up, and that's all!
So I'm not doing football this year in real life, but one day in my dream, I decided to go to just check it out. I got there at around 10 AM, although practice starts at 8 or so. It wasn't any regular practice, though. There were these coaches I hadn't known, hadn't been familiar with, nor were real football coaches I believe. The point of the practice at first were to complete 2 three point basketball shots, then afterwards, place two flags in the opponents flag holders, and last was to post a banner of your team, showcasing there name. My team was red, and we were facing the blue team. So first was the 3 point shots. I got both the shots in. I do not know or very much recognize many of the dream characters, besides very few coaches or others later on. So I do not know who got there shots in. Next was the flags. The opposing team had to try and stop us from getting the flags in, by any means, but it was relatively casual. The only odd thing about it was, that at first, the real coach had created fire traps on the floor that created a relatively high wall of fire that had to be jumped over. There were also bleachers, and other things we could climb on in order to jump over the fire. I believe that I got the first flag in. They had gotten there flag in as well. Then afterwards, the craziness stopped, and it was relatively casual. People were talking, and everything, but the games were still on. I abandoned the second flag unintentionally, and then the enemy team took it and hid it. They apparently had gotten there second flag in, and then they quickly already hung there banner in a large hangar, like area. After that, we had to run a small lap around the field and meet back at the coach. He told us to meet him by the hangars, ( which he used a different name for) and when we got there, we just watched videos, and kind of interacted with the coaches, in social games, I think. The blue team was watching videos in a different place that was near there second flag. I sort of sneaked away to place the flag, but they saw me, and allowed me to proceed, because they told me they don't care. I went back and they were just watching videos, and I allowed myself to, although I do not remember looking at any screen at all... That was weird for me. After a while, We were about done and allowed to go home. At this point it was about 2 AM. We began to leave, and for some odd reason, when I left the school I was in, I was in my bedroom, with my friend Jagger. I asked if he wanted to stay the night, and he said yeah and then just crashed in my room, because it was reaaaaaally late. I then realized that I forgot my phone and clothes in my locker at the school. I began to leave my house, and my phone was right there, and so was the rest of my stuff. I LITERALLY thought to myself "Good thing this is a dream, or else I wouldn't be able to get my stuff back." but I totally ignored it and didn't think about that for the remainder of the dream. Not too long after, I was too meet back for practice, and we were on a big bus, with the only coach with us being of my favorites, Coach Harris. At first we were in a HUGE arcade, where everybody was just playing games and having fun, even people I knew weren't a part of football or anything like that. I received some kind of message from my mom, that I was in danger, not to go anywhere else, not to stop for anyone else, just to go home with her. After the arcade, we were in what appeared to be an office building, but we were leaving to go back to the bus. My uncle called me and told me that something was wrong and in danger, but I couldn't fully understand what was going on, and he tried to tell me to go the Palms hotel roof, and meet him for a drink. My phone died during the call and I just thought that I definitely wasn't going there. As we left the office building, we went onto the freeway, and then rounded into another buildings lot. We were only dropping one person off there, and I saw my mom's car. I told the coach that I have to go here too, but he wouldn't let me off the bus. So, as we were slowly moving, I threw my gear off the bus and began to climb out the door and onto the sidewalk. I began walking towards my moms car only to find that she wasn't in it. Only two chubby white women, one being way younger than the other. I told them to tell me where my mother was, and she was in the trunk, freezing in some snow. (which is weird, I live in Las Vegas, and this is during the summer) My mom climbed out and forced us to be pushed down a hill into snow. We were stuck in a dish, and then a ton of water started to fly down the hill after us. We were to hold our breath, but I could still breathe fine. We began to try and get out of there and that's where it ended...
((I wouldn't call this a fragment, cause I remember it as a full dream, just most of it is VERY fuzzy and hard to re-call.)) So... I was in this school... which looked like a mix between my middle school, and my high school. Most of what happened is very fuzzy... however, I remember me feeling very excluded, and all these kids thinking I was weird. I remember one part of the dream where we were walking home, it was dark out. The kids I was walking with also thought I was weird, and kind of excluded me, or downed me when I gave my opinion on a conversation they were having.
I attained lucidity only for a brief moment before losing my awareness. I attempted at making the dream more vivid by using a technique on the DreamViews forum, simply closing you eyes. I'll start from the beginning. I was in an old, broken-down, haunted-looking house. We were filming a movie there using some cheap special effects and all of us (actors, camera-man and director alike) were teenagers, it just looked like we were having a bit of fun with a video-camera. Then it came to me, I'm lucid! I think my sub-concious may have tried to throw me off because the next thing I know the director is telling me to do something and I immediately followed the order. Before I could be lost into the dream again I realized that no, I'm lucid and I can do anything I like. The dream was a little fuzzy so I attempted to make it more vivid by closing my eyes and telling myself I wanted this dream to be more vivid. This had the reverse effect and I ended up becoming part of the dream once again, so now I know that method is not something I should be using again, or something to only come back to in a long time/with enough experience.

This is my first good, long lucid dream in a while, and it was awesome! So, this is gonna be a long retelling. You've been warned. My dream recall picks up at my old high school. I am in the auditorium, with a teacher and another student. I don't remember this bit very clearly, but I think the teacher is my college professor, K. and the other student is Silver. I remember being afraid to leave the auditorium because K specifically wanted us to stay behind, and had something to talk to us about. Nonetheless, I slip through the auditorium door, promising to come back. I have a Brita filter in my hand at that time, and it's implied I'm going to fill it up real quick and come back. Out in the hallway, I start pouring the water that's in the filter all over the floor. In my head I envision a chase scene, and I feel like this will help, somehow. Not just in making them slip and fall, but it was supposed to do something else, like turn into smoke. This part is another fuzzy bit. At some point while I'm doing and thinking all this, I realize the absurdity of what's going on, and realize that I'm dreaming. At this point I head back down the hall towards the cafeteria. I don't know where the filter disappeared to, but I don't have it anymore, nor do I care. I end up passing through the empty cafeteria and heading outside, where, like so many prior lucid dreams, I get sucked into practicing flying. Why this draws me in so much is a mystery... in any case, only moments later my vision gets all fuzzy and it's hard to see much of anything. Over the next 5 minutes, I try to restore my vision, while still trying to fly and slowly making my way around to the front of the school. I don't have a ton of techniques at my disposal for this dream... I keep trying to blink to get my sight back, even as I worry that it would wake me up. Thankfully it doesn't, but it isn't doing anything productive either. As I round the corner, I come up with a new idea. I try removing my glasses, which has no effect. Putting them back on doesn't either. But at this point I take them back off and mimic cleaning the dust off of them, even though at this point my dream clarity is so bad that it doesn't actually feel like I'm holding anything. Amazingly, this one actually works, and I can see everything again. A lot of work for what some of you can fix in just a couple seconds! Ah, well, I'm learning. At this point I'm out in front of the school again, and see a college friend, A. I feel like showing off to him that this is a dream, and I try to fly in front of him. What I'd accomplished for flying so far in this dream amounted to hovering, or maybe short glides, but I don't even manage this much. I jump extra high, but that's about it. He comes up to me and says, "Hey, are you actively trying to fly? This isn't a lucid dream." At which point he becomes the antagonist of the dream. I'm laying on the ground when he says this for some reason, and for a split-second, I feel the effects. A small bit of doubt creeps in, and for a moment I'm paralyzed, and can't move. But then I somehow recover, and get up, and start trying to logically prove that this is a dream. I tell him that I've graduated, among other things. At some point he's wearing a football helmet and asking me why I have one in my hand, as if this would somehow prove it's reality. I retort that this must be a dream because I didn't have the thing 5 minutes ago (really, I didn't have it until he asked about it). Eventually I realize logic isn't going to work, so I kind of tackle him, yelling, "I KNOW this is a dream! Stop trying to trick me!" A small bit of memory is lost here, but A. certainly gives up on trying to convince me I'm not dreaming... instead he tries to convince me that I don't deserve this lucid dream, or something along those lines. To which I succinctly say, "Screw you! I deserve every goddamn lucid dream that I get!" And at this point I roll away from him. I don't feel angry anymore... I feel triumphant, like it was incredibly important that I make my opinion known, and now that I have I'm satisfied. I have no regrets for shouting at him either, because at this point I know he's not real. Unfortunately, while trying to contemplate what to do next, I wake up.
March 11, 2011 Lucid Dream 192: Instability Reigns Series: The Land of Dreams, Episode 5 around 7:00am WILD Category - WTF I woke up briefly and as I returned to sleep I felt SP trying to kick in. I went with it and soon SP had fully set in. There seemed to be no HI of any kind. There was a lot of noise...a familiar buzzing with a lot of muffle conversation. Several times the conversation volume grew to shouting levels, but I couldn't understand any words that were said. I soon felt my self rolling around my room. Once the rolling stopped, I stood up with quite a bit of difficulty. The dream was quite blurry and everything seemed to be moving slightly (as if I were dizzy). I attempted to stabilize, but had considerable trouble clearing things up. I managed to get the dream decently stable and I walked to my front door and exited onto the porch. Upon exiting the house, the dream was fuzzy once again. I tried to stabilize, but nothing seemed to be working. I jumped off the porch and when I landed the the entire environment shook violently. I got the dizzy feeling and everything was blurry and mixing together. I stumbled my way down to the truck sitting in the driveway. I started rubbing the truck and smelling the air. I couldn't smell anything. I could hear a slight buzzing in my ear and I took a deep inhale and tasted the air. I couldn't taste anything either. After applying all 5 senses with a little focus, the dream cleared up a little bit. It was still relatively fuzzy as I attempted to walk forward and immediately began spinning in circles. I couldn't stop it on my own, so I grabbed hold of the truck once again and I stopped spinning. I kept thinking, "WTF is going on here? Haven't had a dream this unstable in a while." The dream was once again so blurry that I could barely make out the environment. I jumped into the air and attempted to take flight, but just kind of hung in mid-air for a bit. The dream immediately became crystal clear as I was hanging in the air. I could move my body, but I couldn't move in any direction. I flailed around in the air for a while and attempted to force myself forward. This struggle lead to me waking up in bed. Series Details In the dream series, "The Land of Dreams," I explore the depths of my subconscious. With no real goals in mind, I explore the creative lands and characters that come before me. Who will I meet? Where will I go? What exactly does it mean to be KingYoshi? To find out, stay tuned for more entries to the series!
