    1. LD: Flying, Free Falling, Kissing, Flying over the Ocean at Night

      5-14-10

      Lucid Dream:

I was at what was supposed to be Emily's house. I was just leaving and saying goodbye when I noticed that the mountains by her house seemed all wrong. It occured to me that I might be dreaming. I felt a little disappointed at first because I felt that the dream was almost over. But then I thought, "Why do I think that? Just because I am leaving Emily's house?"

So I took off flying. I flew between some rocky hills/cliffs. I tried to fly higher than them, but seemed to stay the same height. Then the ground dropped below me. I could see it sloping down toward the ocean. I flew out and over the water. I then remembered the Task of the Month where we are supposed to skydive off a sky scraper. I didn't have a skyscraper nearby, so I just decided to free fall into the ocean. I was up a good ways, so this felt like a big deal to do this. I could feel the wind rush by as I prepared myself for the cold wet water.

I hit the surface and sank all the way to the bottom, which was actually maybe only 12 feet or so down at the place where I landed. To my surprise the water felt neither cold or wet. It just felt "thicker".

The next thing I remember I was back on the land. I saw a very good looking guy. He had light brown hair, blue eyes, and a little stubble. I went to him and started to kiss him. The kisses felt very real. I then took his hand and started flying with him. We flew back out over the ocean. It was dark now. I could see the very last bit of light at the very edge of the horizon. So I could just barely make out where the ocean and sky met.

We flew out a ways. I suddenly had this little chill come over me as I remembered how creepy I find the ocean at night, and here I was flying out over it so far that I couldn't see anything on the land behind me. I even asked the guy, "Isn't this creepy to be way out here over the ocean in the dark?" I think he agreed. Finally I saw some lights of some ships ahead of us. They looked like cruise ships. I flew up to one and landed on it.

The guy and I stated making out again.

      And that's all I remember.

I was having camera troubles, and I decided that I had to be dreaming. I took off flying. I remember reaching out and trying to touch things as I flew so I would feel more part of the dream.

Then things got kind of weird and kind of became a sex dream. I realize I wasn't fully lucid in parts. Like I thought Sam from Supernaturals was my boyfriend. But I do remember I kept saying, "This is my deam...we're going to do it my way." I really don't remember a whole lot.

Lucid Dream (maybe this is several dreams):

I had gone on this trip with a group of girls. We were staying in this awful motel room that was decorated in burgandy and pink. I took out my camera and tried to take pictures but the battery was wrong. I took it out, and it wasn't the right one. I was mad because I couldn't take any more pictures on this trip.

I didn't go lucid at that point.

Later we were in an airport watching these huge jets take off. Then I was on a plane. Seems like something happened, like we almost hit a building. But I don't really remember that.

Then I was back at home in my childhood house. I was in the backyard. I don't remember what triggered lucidity. But I suddenly knew I was dreaming and flew up in the air a bit. I felt a bit unstable in the dream, so I rubbed my hands together. I realized that it had been forever since I had done this in a dream. I noticed that it really did bring me back in to the dream. I felt more physically there.

I looked over the fence into the neighbor's yard. They had their sprinklers on. I knew I wanted to go through the sprinklers. I thought that it was either a Task of the Month from the past...or something that I had decided at one point I wanted to do. So I swooped down until the water was sprinkling on me. The water felt very real.

I flew back up. I then remembered reading on of my LDs from a long time ago where I had used my five senses...and how that had made the dream way more meaningful. So I flew over to my roof and rubbed, my hand all along the brown asphalt shingles. It was satisfying to feel the roughness under my fingertips.

I then remember one of the other Tasks that I had been wanted to try for a while now was to meet a fictional character. The one that popped into my head was a character from a story that I had started writing myself a while ago. I flew back up and looked into the neighbors yard again and saw a wheelchair. I thought it was empty at first. But as I got closer I saw a child sitting in it. I wondered if this was my character as a child. He started talking to me. What he said didn't make sense. But I thougth it was cool that he was interacting with me.
    4. Task of the Month: Standing on my Head--both versions

      by , 07-06-2013 at 04:24 PM
      4-2-10

I read about the Lucid Tasks yesterday and told myself the next time I was lucid I would do those. Apparently it's good for me to set goals like that becasue I got lucid last night and completed both tasks.

      Lucid Tasks Dream:

I was having camera problems and was feeling very frustrated. There was something I really wanted to take a picture of (though I can't remember what it was).

Something in my mind reminded me that this meant that there was a chance I was dreaming. I didn't want to think about that possibility because that meant that whatever it was that I was taking a picture of was not real, and I really wanted it to be real.

But I decided to try to fly anyway, and wasn't too surprised when I took off gliding and knew that this was a dream.

I then remembered the Tasks that I wanted to try.

I landed on the ground again. I was on the side of a nearly empty city street. I could see no cars and very few people.

I decided to try the basic task first--the simple headstand. So I bent over with my hands down, just like I would do a hand stand in a pool. I put my head on the pavement and tried to balance my legs in the air. At first I was having trouble maintaining balance. I had to tel myellf, "Oh come on... this is a dream. I should be able to do this with no problems." And at that I steadied myself and held a headstand.

Pleased with myself, I decided to try the more advanced version of a headstand. I wasn't sure how this one would work. I had never separated body parts on a dream before. I had no idea if they would come off easily or not. Would it hurt at all?

I grabbed my head in my hands and started giving a sideways pull. I wasn't sure if anything was happening. Then I noticed my shadow on the ground in front of me and I realized that that would be a great help.

I then watched as I slid my head off my shoulders (no pain or discomfort at all) and lowered it to the ground. I also didn't noticed any change with the way I was viewing things. My vision remained focused on the shadow.

I placed my head on the ground next to my feet. I felt no sensation on my head at all as I carefully stepped up on my head. My feet, however, were bare, and I could feel my head and hair under my feet. I stood there for a moment.

And then must have lost lucidity because I remember nothing else.
    5. LD: Flying over Ocean

      by , 07-06-2013 at 04:20 PM
      3-22-10

I was at the beach and seeing all kinds of cool sea life along the shore. I pulled out my camera to take some pictures. But when I pushed the button to take a picture nothing happened. Plus the battery was almost dead.

I said to myself, "Dang....why does this always happen to me?"

Then I thought, "Doesn't this always happen to me in dreams? Too bad this isn't a dream. This is way too real."

And then I thought, "Well, maybe I should just make sure....."

And I took off running for the water and jumped...and I started soaring over the water.

And I thought....."Well...what do you know....it's a dream after all."

I flew over the ocean for a moment then dropped into the water.

      And then....my alarm went off.

I had about 15 seconds of lucidity.

    6. LD: Flying with Friend

      by , 07-06-2013 at 04:17 PM
      2-17-10

I did had a lucid dream a few weeks ago where I became lucid and started flying, and felt lonely and wanted someone to fly with. I thought of a friend that I had recently gotten back in touch with. As soon as I decided that it was him that I wanted to fly with, I swooped down to the ground and saw him. I took his hand and we started flying. But for some reason he didn't fly as well as most of the people I take flying with me, and I ended up having to put my arms around him and carry him under me as we flew.

      12-24-09

      Lucid Dream(WBTB):

I was at my mom's house. The dream was involved, but I no longer remember what we were doing. But I do remember it started getting freaky. I remember passing these human skeletons. Some even had some flesh still onthe bones. One of them was from a murder that had happened not long ago. I thought it was awful that the bones of the lady were still there. (I think these were all outside the house.)

Then I was in my mom's bedroom when the house started to shake. Something about it seemed way worse than just a normal earthquake which wouldn't have bothered me. I started panicking. I started screaming for my mom.

Then I realized that it was just a dream. But I was still freaking out as the house continued to shake. The "just a dream" wasn't sinking in fully. I then realized that I had the power to wake up and not have to deal with this any loger. So for the next few moments I was trying with all my might to wake myself up, but getting really frustrated because I didn't seem able to.

      Then lucidity hit me fully.

I ran to the window and flew out. The shaking slowly stopped. I flew around over buildings and I was suddenly happy again.

[There is a part here that I feel the need to skip. ]

Then eventually I must have lost lucidity. I was with Jeff and Jim in this building and we were fixing it up. Jeff was taping the drywall and Jim started painting. I noticed that Jim was painting this really neat mural. I noticed the details and started raving to him about how cool it was.

Later when we were done and leaving, Jim told me to call him at 7:30 am.

    8. LD: Flying, Pain, Kissing

      by , 07-06-2013 at 04:11 PM
      12-21-09

I had a super long LD this morning.

I was driving a truck and having problems controlling it (typical dream sign) I finally was coming up to another truck that had some either surf boards or snow boards sticking out the back. I started slamming on the brake, but the truck kept going at a slow roll until it ran into and broke the "boards" on the back of the other truck. I was horrified. But the feeling and situation caused me to become lucid.

I don't remember all the details. I remember flying around a lot. I ended up at my grandparents. I saw that the neighbors had Christmas decorations out front that was 8 reindeer pulling an RV. As I watched it took off flying. I had the momentary thought that they spent way too much money on something that fancy. I flew around some more. I flew across the valley to the mountains on the other side.

At that point I remembered that TOM to find Santa's sleigh. But as I looked around none appeared.

I flew some more (and I really think I was doing things that I have now forgotten)

I do remember feeling pain in my finger and looking down saw it was covered with these little burrs. I tried to pull them out, but they had these really sharp little barbs and they just stuck to my other fingers. I tired to just make them disappear, because I knew this was a dream and that I had the power to do so. But they wanted to stay. So I did the next best thing. I landed on the ground next to a group of ladies and said, I know you all have tweezers with you. Can you pull these out?" They then all pulled out tweezers and quickly pulled them out. I felt pretty good about taking care of that problem so easily and quickly.

I was about to leave when I noticed I had one burr left on my finger. I saw a teenage guy. He had sandy brown hair that curled a bit over his eyes and over his ears. He had blue green eyes and a light sprinkling of freckes across his nose. I went to him and asked him to get it out. He did. I then sudden had this desire to kiss him. So I went to him and started to make out with him. He kissed me back. It was one of those odd kisses and felt "slimey". So I then flew away.

Later I noticed that slimey feeling in my mouth still, and I started spitting out all this green slime. I remember thinking "Oh sick, that is so nasty. Why did my mind have to do that??"

      Lucid Dream 522: Bar King
Series: Land of Dreams, Episode 15
      DILD
      Technique: FA

I can remember pretty much nothing prior to having a FA (false awakening). I awoke in a strange apartment that I didn't recognize. I thought to myself, "Where the f*** am I?" It only took a couple more moments for me to recognize that this situation wasn't right. I couldn't remember how I got there, so I performed a nose pinch RC. As expected, I was actually dreaming.

I turned toward the nearby sliding glass door and attempted to melt through it. I was successful, but there was another layer of glass in front of me. I melted through it and there was, again, another layer of glass in front of me. I thought, "Oh c'mon now!" I had to phase/melt through 3 more layers of glass before finally making it outside on the balcony. I noticed glass was slowly forming in front of me again so I thought, "Ok, I've got to get the hell out of here." I took flight and quickly flew away from that house.

I decided to try and have an "Attack on Titan" dream. I flew into a town and a building caught my eye. I landed in front of it and entered. It was a bar. I walked up to the counter and said, "Give me a bottle of your finest dream vodka." She looked skeptical and said, "The whole bottle?" I gave her a, "I'm not going to ask twice" look and she handed me a bottle of gold flakes vodka. It was glowing a brilliant gold color. She held out her hand as if to take money and I said, "I own this place. I'm the master of dreams." She was taken aback and began apologizing saying she didn't know. I just ignored her and walked back to a table.

I started chugging the the bottle and I then slammed it on the ground. It shattered. The DCs looked at me strangely. It seemed they weren't sure what to do, so I shouted, "Its ok. If you want to slam your glasses on the ground, go ahead." Everyone looked timid and nervous. One guy held up a mug and, with much hesitation, let it slip out of his fingers. It fell to the ground and smashed. I cheered, "There you go! Its fun isn't it?" I grabbed a nearby mug and slammed it on the ground. The DCs all cheered and everyone started slamming bottles and mugs all over the bar. I forgot to mention, I felt the effects of the alcohol immediately after chugging the bottle.

After my glass breaking party, I walked outside and was in a fairly primitive town. I knew I was where I wanted to be. I walked up to the nearest DC and asked, "What is the fastest way to wall Maria?" The DC pointed and I took off flying in that direction. I got excited upon seeing the wall and the dream began to fade. I landed on top of the wall and immediately prepared to DEILD.

      Lucid Dream 523: Titan Slayer
Series: Meiseki na Yume, Episode 5
      DEILD

I smoothly transitioned back into the dream. I could tell I was now outside the walls. I was on a large, square, wooden platform in the middle of a thick forest. I could tell the trees were tall, but they only reached to the same level as my platform. I looked out into the sea of green treetops. A patch of trees to my right began shaking violently. Suddenly, battle music began playing in the background and I knew what was about to happen. A huge titan emerged from the shaking trees. It was about 20 feet taller than the treetops and the platform. I held out my arms as if I was holding two blades like the ones from AoT (Attack on Titan - A currently airing anime that is awesome. The japanese name is Shingeki no Kyojin). The blades didn't appear, but I acted like I was holding them anyway. The Titian swung its arm in an attempt to grab me. Its arms were abnormally long and stretchy. I performed a dive-roll over the arm and siced the Titans arm with my invisible blades. Its cut a bloody gash into his arm. I dodged a few more attacks and the blades were now visible and solid in my hands. I dodged an attack and then leapt behind the Titans head. I sliced through the Titan's weak spot (back of the neck) with both of my blades. It let out a monstrous groan and fell to the ground, disappearing in the sea of trees.

Suddenly, Titans began popping up all around and I cut them down one after another. The dream went into a 3rd person view as I continued to battle Titans. I noticed that I also had now become a Titan, but I was still the same height as a normal human. I was just jacked like a body builder and had the face of the Armored Titan (from the show). The dream switched in and out of third and first person as I fought a fat Titan that just wouldn't die. I finally managed to kill him and no more Titans came. I decided to head back inside the walls. I could see the wall off in the distance as I began to wake up. Again, I prepared to DEILD.

Note: This dream was sometimes animated like the show, but also was fully 3D/real world graphics at times.

Lucid Dream 524: Time to Alter Time
Series: Land of Dreams, Episode 16
      DEILD

I transitioned smoothly and was back within the inner walls of the city. I decided to just explore the area. It was night time, but there were many lights and neon lights scattered throughout the city, so it was very lit up. I made my way to a boardwalk with many shops and buildings. None of the buildings here had doors and the boardwalk traveled through many of them. It was like a big, open, outdoor mall. There were people partying and setting off fireworks all around.

I entered one of the shops and saw a fortune teller-like woman seated on a fancy blanket. I had remembered something I wanted to try, just moments before. I asked the lady, "Where can I find the time dilation machine?" She pointed to a nearby door, so I proceeded through the door. I was now in a bathroom. There was an ancient metal computer-like device on the wall. It looked like a mix between a breaker box and an old apple computer. I attempted to type in 3 hours. The numbers were not being cooperative. I repeatedly typed up a jumbled mess until it finally showed "3 Hours." Of course, there were some jumbled characters on each side of the "3 Hours," but I didn't pay them any mind, I clicked the "start" button and exited the bathroom.

I went back to exploring. There were so many random shops and objects scattered across the huge boardwalk that I couldn't remember everything. There were canoe shops, fishing shops, clothing stores, fireworks venders, beach balls randomly bouncing around, tumble weed, balloons, stuffed animals, etc. There was way more shit, but that is all I remember (had wrote down). There were also open houses along the boardwalk. The boardwalk was like a huge, winding, pier on a huge lake. Anyway, I entered one of the houses and there was a pool. There was a hot, naked chick sitting on the side of the pool. There was a long line of men in front of her waiting their turn to have sex with her. I watch for a moment and pondered cutting the line and having a go. I fought off the temptation and went back to exploring.

I saw some speed boats and jet skis out on the lake, so I took off flying after them. I began chasing the speed boats around through the air, playing freeze tag with them. I was skimming the top of the water as I flew. I was "it" and soon "froze" all of the speed boats and jet skis. When I touched them, they literally froze in time. After winning the game of freeze tag, I landed back on the boardwalk. I walked into another house and there was a party going on. I saw a huge kite and attempted to fly while riding on it. I kept crashing into piles of random objects/toys/gear/etc. I could get the kite elevated, but it was out of control and crashed moments later. Always crashing into random piles of things. The dream soon began fading, so I, once again, prepared to DEILD.

Note, the dream only lasted about 30-45 mins (dream time) after I typed in 3 hours, so it didn't exactly work out .

      Lucid Dream 525: Jet Gunner
Series: The Mind of a Gamer, Episode 7
      DEILD

This DEILD transition took longer than usual. I got some HI of the moon and space. I could hear "My Song" playing on my computer as I transitioned into the dream (the song from the anime, Angel Beats!). I had left my iTunes up as I had been sleeping this whole time.

Anyway, I transitioned into the dream. I was in a fighter jet and was going through a video game-like stage. I couldn't control the speed or the jets direction of travel. I could strafe left and right with great maneuverability. I controlled the jet's guns with my mind. The environment went from realistic to PS3-like game graphics. I pummeled enemy jets as they approached from the background. It felt a lot like I was playing StarFox in a more realistic setting and great graphics. After a bit of this, the dream began to fade and I allowed myself to wake up in order to not forget too much of the previous dreams.

    10. LD: Three Tasks (gibberish, mirror, getting naked)

      by , 06-25-2013 at 07:18 PM
I finally got lucid and got three tasks done.

I got up at 5:00 to exercise, but then changed my mind and decided to have a lucid dream. So I laid back down in bed with my head slightly propped up on pillows and willed myself into a dream. It wasn't really a WILD since I don't remember the transition. But I do know that as soon as the dream started I was already lucid.

I was in an apartment with Jeff. I decided to get started on the tasks right away. I walked up to him and started to speak gibberish. He squinted a little as if trying to figure out what I was doing. I stopped for a second, but he still didn't really react, so I stared right back up with the gibberish. Finally he pulled me to him and started kissing me.

Nice....speaking gibberish gets me a kiss.

After the kiss I ran to the bathroom to find a mirror. As I got close to the bathroom I could see in, and I already saw an image of myself in a mirror. I knew I shouldn't have been able to see myself yet since the angle was all wrong. So I went all the way in the bathroom and faced the mirror. As I entered I could see what looked like my true reflection follow me in. The other image was still three doing its own thing. I moved around, and the new reflection did what I did. In both reflections my face was somewhat in the shadows, I was wearing a light orange t-shirt, and my skin was very tan. Often my reflection in dreams is very distorted. But this one was pretty normal (except for the addition of the second reflection).

At that point I was satisfied that I had done enough to complete that task. So I decided to move on to the next task which was to get naked in front of people. I went to the window. I saw that I was at least 10 stories high. Without hesitating I flew out. Below me I could see people in a large open courtyard area. I flew down and landed next to some older ladies that were sitting on a bench. I briefly told them that I was going to complete a lucid task to get naked and get a reaction from people. I then took off my shirt. One of the ladies had an amused look on her face and said, "Well that should make people smile."

I then tried to take off my shorts. I got them down over my hips and down my legs, but had trouble getting my feet out of them. I struggled for a minute, then realized that I didn't need to worry anymore about it. I moved on to find more people to get a reaction from (and the shorts were just gone). I saw some men working to move some furniture out of a truck. They glanced up at me and sure enough, they smiled, and then went right back to work. I went up to several more people who were walking by and each of them smiled and then went about their business.

Hmmm....speaking gibberish get me kissed. Getting naked gets me a glance and a smile.

I got tired of doing that so I flew back up into the air. I flew up the side of the building that supposedly my apartment was in. The outside was brick with Boston Ivy growing on it. It was very pretty. I got up to about the 9th floor and I suddenly was slowing down. I knew I wouldn't be able to fly any higher. Before I started floating back down to the ground, I saw that the building at the point had metal bars that I could grab ahold of. I knew that my mind had put these here so I could continue to go higher. I started climbing up these bars like a ladder using only my arms. I climbed to where my window was and then jumped out and started flying again. The flying felt really good. I paid a lot of attention to the way the wind felt on my face and the sound of it rushing by my ears. After a minute or so of this I started to get dizzy. I knew the dream was fading, and I figured it was okay since I had accomplished so much.
    11. From examining shrubberies to flying.

      by , 06-25-2013 at 12:56 PM
I don’t really remember how the dream started out since it was such a long dream. What I do remember is that in the beginning of the dream we had to make a task for mathematics as homework.
Me and my other classmates are looking out of a window at a shrubbery. The shrubbery had something to do with the exercises we had to make by tomorrow. I made my notes about the shrubbery and attempted to make the exercise. The exercise wasn't too hard so I completed it in a reasonable amount of time. I heard another classmate (Sam) complain about the exercise, he said he made it all wrong because he was thought the small bush on the side of the shrubbery was part of the exercise as well. “He should have looked better before he begun the exercise” I thought to myself.

At a certain point after this I realise I’m dreaming.
“I’m dreaming, so now I can fly”. I wanted to test that by jumping out of the top window of our house. At this point I am standing in front of the window and I look down through the window into the garden below. “Better be sure I’m dreaming before jumping out” I think to myself, because all of this sure looks realistic. I do the test by imagining there is a horse in our garden, I look down and sure enough all of a sudden there are two horses grazing, a brown one and a white one. I decide to take it one step further and imagine that there are now cows grazing in the garden, the horses morph into cows.
“I am dreaming for sure”. I get ready for the jump by crawling outside of the small window. Now my feet are the only thing holding me in place while my body is floating horizontally in the air with my arms down the side of my body. One of the horses, the brown one, launches towards me and when he is nearly at my height tries to bite my hands off. “That horse sure can jump high” I think to myself. He launches again but fails to reach me and falls back towards earth. I prepare myself mentally to make the jump and fly. I hope I don’t plummet towards the ground, since this is the first time trying to fly in my dreams. I push off and for a moment I’m dive-flying towards the ground, but I manage to gain control over my flight and navigate myself upwards. “I’m really doing it, I’m flying”.
I fly through the street that is positioned next to my house with my arms stretched in front of me like superman. Beneath me I see my best friend (Lieven) and his dad walking. “Hey Lieven, I’m dreaming, I can fly”. I land next to him and tell him again, “Isn't this great, I can fly.” “Ah, I wish I could do that” he said. “But you can, just do it” I replied. I’m still walking besides him and am looking at the forest besides the road (the forest that is positioned behind my garden). “Look Lieven, look at the castle that’s hidden in the forest”. I try to imagine a castle but that thought doesn't manifest itself in my dream so I just leave it alone. At this point a realize I ought to stabilize my dream, I rub my hands together and see what happens, but there is no noticeable difference in clarity so I yell “become brighter” but still no effect. Must be because the dream is already very clear I think to myself.
I leave Lieven behind and walk up the bank besides the channel. I want to fight a monster, like I read on the internet. So I imagine there being a monster on the top of the slope in climbing. And sure enough there is a giant armoured troll awaiting me. “I’ll bring him down with my guns” I think to myself. I start shooting at the beast with the gun that has now appeared inside my arms, but the gun doesn’t seem to affect him in any way. Besides me there is a bucked filled with a various array of weapons and I take another one but to no avail, so I decide just to kick the monster with my boot and that seems to do the job as the monster falls into the channel on the side of the road.
I continue walking down the road and on the left side of the road I spot a little digital clock. I walk towards it and see that it notes the amount of time I have left in this dream, which is not much according to the clock.
I just want to do one more thing before I leave, I want to have sex with Linde (a good looking girl from my class). I am now in a room by myself, “let’s try to summon Linde” I think to myself. I read that you can do that by drawing the outlines of the person you want to create in the air with your hands, but it doesn't quite work out for me and nothing happens.
At this point I think about the TOTM that I read about on Dream views. Being naked in front of an audience isn't going to work since I don’t have much time left and there is nobody here, so I should do the task where you look in the mirror. I leave the room and walk towards the bathroom. As I enter the bathroom I think to myself “I hope there aren't holes where my eyes ought to be like I read on Dream views the other day”. I bring my courage together and walk in front of the mirror. I am relieved to see that my eyes are still as they should be, in fact I look quite normal, but then I see the distortion in my refection. There is a strip of the mirror that is bend like a mirror in the mirror palace. Because of this, my head looks quite funny as I move around.

I begin to lose grip over my dream and stray into a non-lucid dream.
I tell my best friend Lieven about the wonderful lucid dream I just had, he is sort of jealous since he hasn't been able to have a lucid. “I didn't learn for my test I have from mathematics, but so what, I had an amazing dream instead.”
      I wake up for real.

    12. Another lucid dream last night!

      by , 06-24-2013 at 08:04 PM (TheSpiderSilva's Dream Journal)
It's apparent to me that I'm getting A LOT better at realizing when I'm in a dream.

I had several dreams before I became lucid, most of which involved me and my friends doing shit.

When I realize I was lucid, I was in my yard, naked, and drinking a drink from a Parker's gas station. Before I realized I was lucid, I was trying to think about how I would sneak in my house without my family noticing that I'm naked.

Suddenly, I don't know what it was, I realized I was dreaming. When I first became lucid, I was very tired for some reason, so I just kept rubbing my hands together furiously and yelling "Increase lucidity!".

The feeling of sleepiness went away pretty quickly. I didn't do what someone else told me to do in a lucid dream though, I didn't touch things around me or get acclimated to the dream, and I wish I would have.

I did look at my backyard and notice that everything was bunched together in one spot.

I asked my subconscious if this dream could feel like it was 6 hours long, but that didn't happen, lol.

In my front yard, I noticed a big wooden post lying on the ground. That's not usually there. I got the idea to telekinetically throw it into the air, just for fun. It worked, and it went VERY high, and landed in my yard again. I threw it in the air again, but for some reason while it was in the air I tried to pull it apart with my mind and make it transform into Godzilla (made more sense in my dream).

That didn't quite work out the way I wanted it to.

I started flying after that, using my "Up, up, and away!" trick, although at one point I feel on my face (didn't hurt).

Can't remember much else, except the parts where I lost lucidity and some weird stuff happened.
    13. Hot air balloon

      by , 06-23-2013 at 09:23 PM
Dreamed that I found a white plastic bag, which was shaped like it had some papers in it.
From that plastic bag, I pulled out a backpack.
From that backpack, I pulled out a hot air balloon.
Everyone on the beach was mirin' my hot air balloon.
A cute brunette came up and talked to me. Took that bitch for a ride.

      Very lovely dream
    14. LD Patchwork

      by , 06-22-2013 at 10:55 PM
      Pre bed: Gingko, l-arginine

      Total sleep time: 6 hrs

Dream quality and recall: Very vivid, unstable, hard to recall all details and honestly didn’t notice them as much

WBTB: >1/2 latte, insomnia mostly caused by heat, dehydration and discomfort due to heavy junk food consumed at dinner

Technique: In the approx. 2 hours of insomnia, I faithfully did all possible techs I could think of, including mantras, SSILD, WILD, noticing dreamlets, initially to induce an ld, but mostly just trying to get back to sleep. As I was dehydrated had to drink some water then go to restroom several times, which made insomnia worse.

Dreamlet: some kind of palm tree as it is being painted

Pre WBTB dream impressions: high vividness, flying, friendly dogs in hometown (can't remember anything, just there was some strangeness involved)

Post WBTB LD Pack 1 (DILD+ 2xDEILD): I finally fall asleep, and find myself in a bus in a familiar city. My bf is to my right and there is a woman in front of me with a baby that she is about to feed. To her left is man, just another passenger that reacts to her moving around. I want to remark that there is not enough space for any action but then notice the hand of the man, he is now a woman and on his palm, slightly below the little finger is what looks like an eye.

An eye on his hand? Alarm! This can only be a dream! I am more excited than usual, possibly because I spotted this eye. I keep looking at it with interest. The eye on the hand is following the movement of the woman with the baby. Soon enough there is a whole face on the palm of that DC. It looks really crazy and cool! I am overjoyed and for some reason decide to shout out loud exactly "Dreamviews", this stabilizes the dream somewhat. Then I begin to ponder about undressing when the dream fades, I quickly pass through the void, and then feel my physical body.

I wait a bit and the dream picks up again. It is as if I am following a dream scenario so my dream self is on the way somewhere. This is very close to where I was previously in the bus. There is a small garden next to the bus station, so I am there, trying to hold on to the dream. I concentrate on the ground and look at the ultra detailed and vivid grass. Reminding me of the movie Gladiator, I have a moment of enjoyment touching and playing with lots of beautifully looking grass ears. They have a slight pinkish hue and are not like any grass type I have seen. As I move my hand from one grass ear to another, the dream slowly fades, I go through the void, and am back in bed.

I wait some more and the dream is back, but this time it is super unstable. If I remember correctly at this point I also get some of my dream paralysis, being unable to move my hand/shoulder (right one this time), but I try to ignore it, adjust my posture and it somehow disappears. I am more or less on the same place, I am trying to make my dream body behave according to a fake dream scenario and pretend that I am going somewhere again. On the street, facing a traffic lights pole, the dream is slipping away. I hug/grasp the pole and try to hold on to it, feel it, etc, then remember all that discussion about making out with the dream. I stretch out my tongue and start licking the pole with all might, but initially don't feel anything. I keep on licking until finally there is a distinct sensation of my tongue and the pole is more solid.
The dream fades and I am back in bed - I have been moving my real tongue as well!

I decide to visit the restroom and continue with my efforts to fall asleep.

Random lucid fragment: I remember looking at the sky and seeing some strange white transparent ghost-like bird. I follow its flight and remember the other lucid where birds were transparent. My thinking is that maybe this is an OBE and real creatures look like that. I try to interact with the bird by calling it, exerting some kind of dream control on it.

Non-ld: Some kind of a FA, in our bedroom, with bf and Angela Merkel comes in. I am very happy that I will finally have the chance to ask her a few questions about her meetings and the state of the world economy. My memory is vague, but we talk about something, the dream fades and I wake up.

      Struggling to fall asleep again.

LD Pack 2 (WILD + 2xDEILD): Because of the going in and out of the void, my memory is really elusive with this one, although it was very vivid and each part lasted a while.

I find myself in what vaguely reminds me of my ex-room. My boyfriend is sleeping in the bed. I notice that it is kind of dark (but not totally dark), so more out of habit than rational thinking, I head to where the light switch is, find a different looking light switch, give it a bit of a thought "What am I doing, expecting the room to become better lit after using a dream switch?", find this absurd, but turn on the light nevertheless. There is a slight change and some more light. It's ok. I am in mischievous mood, so decide to wake up my bf's DC. No way this DC puppet is my bf, it looks like him but I know it's not him. On with my task "assign a lucidity DC", I engage in a long talk with fake bf DC, explaining to him that he should keep on reminding me that this is a dream. He looks kind of dumb and doesn't respond anything and there is something creepy about him as well. I am starting to have regrets about waking this DC up. There is also some aggressive buzzing, some object is pushing me just next my right foot, I can feel it there, and really don't want to have anything to do with it or the fake bf DC. I look down trying to brush the small aggressor away, but there is nothing there, just my clothes and body....the dream destabilizes, passing throughout the void....I remain still.

Back to the same room, but of course it has changed a bit. It is on the ground floor and leads to an inside yard. One other thing that is worth noting is that I also heard some music playing in the background while in the room, it stopped while in the void, and then resumed with the dream. It is bright and sunny outside, autumn hues lit by the sun. My mood reflects the scene and the scene my mood. I am holding a bottle of coke, wonder whether I should leave it, but notice how much better I feel with my hands around an object. I continue walking, there are residential buildings surrounding the yard and it is raining and sunny at the same time. I want to have some fun with the rain, enjoy the scene. I lift up in the air in exhilaration, this lasts a while and as I am midair the dream fades and I am in my bed.

I know what to do, I wait and then wait some more. This time it is harder, but the dream comes back (same place). I feel my head touching the branch of a tree. It is as if I landed on the tree with my forehead. I shortly wonder whether this sensation may come from my physical body, but dismiss the thought. On the ground now, and happy to be back in this nice place. I notice a puddle and sure enough there is my reflection staring back at me. My dream reflection looks great, smiling, and my hair is just perfect. (It rarely looks that well styled irl) Naturally, I am impressed by this and especially by the flawless hairstyle.

Then it dawns on me that this was TOTM and I remember CL's comment that it seems like I always try to do all TOTM in one dream. At that moment, I am super confident that I will be able to do all the tasks even if the dream interrupts. The problem is I never memorized all 5 because of my task flexibility goal this month, so I try very hard to remember what they all were. I remember that with the dinosaur egg and look around. The yard is merging into an open room with all kinds of junk objects on the floor. I am looking for an egg. There are two balls, and one changes to have the hard surface of an egg and elongates slightly and there we have it - a perfect red egg the size of an ostrich's egg. (Finally some positive side effect of dream instability). I put the egg under my butt and start hatching it, holding it with one hand. It cracks and I expect something to come out and then of course the dream destabilizes and I am in the void in a strange position and feeling my body as well.
I wait and wait but nothing happens this time, so I wake up and try to remember as much as possible before it fades.

Counted as 2 Lds (official) and 1 micro ld (info only).

PS: Writing this whole thing took much longer than dreaming it.
    15. Introduction / Short LD

by , 06-20-2013 at 01:57 AM (Streaming My Utopia)
This is my first DJ entry so I just want to make a couple of introductory notes regarding it. First, this will be a lucidity only journal (unless an extremeely memorable NLD comes up). Second, this is a no holds barred journal meaning that everything from sex to violence and wicked behavior will be (properly) shared here should they cross my playground, god forbid they do.
Third, you are all welcome here if you want to kill a little time!

Okay so to my first lucid dream since my last comeback to dream training and taking some time to exclusively build up decent recall.

      09/06/2013 - DILD

I was at the beach with a group of guys that I know, we were sit down close to the sea just relaxing and chatting, each of us was messing around with some sort of smartphone, waves coming to our legs and then going back as they naturally do. I spotted a small increase in the size of a wave forming and exaggerated it a little bit in my mind thinking it was gonna catch us, it just did and now people's phones were wet and their owners pissed.
The dream skips (or my memory does) and I'm just walking around the beach alone. It now seemed more obviously like the beach of an island with exotic vegetation around and all the pretty sights. I was sort of jumping and leaping in the air and I looked at the view and it was really intense and pretty, I spontaneously became lucid. I got excited, this was my first LD recalled in quite a while but still pretty calm and collected, "good to be back". Like I always do by default (I'm now changing that) I started simply trying to take short flights and big jumps, I took off once and I decided to take a good leap (regardless of my waking life mild fear of heights) and I did but suddenly I was flying close to ground level again, what? I immediately attributed this to my anxiety which has frequently cut my flights short both in height and duration but this time I said "f*** it, I'm gonna go and I'm gonna go high", I did for good this time. I was at the level of the top of a small stone tower (still high by my standards but nowhere near "big city heights") and just as I got there I decided to go on top of it so I put out my hands spiderman style and intended to shout some webs and pull myself there, even though I didn't see any web I got there that way.
While on top of the tower I was feeling a bit like "lion king" in my fairly effortless comeback to my dream world so I decided to shout into the air a big, resounding and powerful "fus ro dah" which would shake the whole dream, it didn't, what it did shook was myself making me slightly afraid of falling down. How ridiculous LOL
So what I did was I crouched like spiderman with the intention of getting my hands stuck to the floor with "my web substance" to ground myself and safely shake the scenario! As I opened my mouth and inhaled for the biggest thunderous shout ever I.....
      woke up.

      More to come xD
