    1. 17-11-10 Back to School, Nuclear Blast & Nightmare, Pulling the Plug on Dream

      by , 11-15-2017 at 05:47 PM
The first dream started innocently enough, with yet another return to that bloody school. I was running late. I entered the classroom where everybody else was already assembled. They weren't just the guys from my own class, but also from the other class from that same year. I sheepishly greeted them and sat down. They cheered and mocked me as I did so. I made brief eye contact with my former friends, realizing fully well they hate me. As it turned out, I was there to complete my third year of my bachelor in electromechanics.

The second dream started out as a kind of franchise trailer for Call of Duty. I saw footage of modern military stuff like jets and tanks. Then, the view switched to Nazi World War II tanks driving up a hill towards the US capitol. Then, the capitol exploded in a massive nuclear blast. I was physically present in the scene now, and knew I was about to die. I saw the "wave" of debris and other fiery fuck you heading my way, and realized I would soon be vaporized. But when it hit me, I was thrown into the air by the air pressure. High into the air. Like, a mile. I saw the land the capitol was on, a wide river, and a town on the other side. For a second I was happy, thinking I'd survived, but then I realized I'd fall to my death. Just my luck. Fortunately, I ended up floating and eventually flying. I flew around a little bit, quite low to the ground, through a park. There were people walking around, but then I noticed a woman I'd seen before. She was there "twice". And where ever I looked, there she was. It was like she was replicating outside my field of vision, and everybody was turning into her. Until there were at least ten "clones" of her in that park, and no one else. I felt this was becoming a nightmare, as this is a plot I've seen before in dreams. That's right, despite not being lucid, I still "knew" this was a dream. I talked to the "woman", whom I knew was not a woman but a monster. She *looked* like a woman, but I knew my own growing fear and unease could make her morph into a monster at any time (as dreams usually do). She had a name, which I forgot. I realized flying away was pointless. The monsters my dreams spawn can teleport, and always know where you are. Always. You can't hide or flee from them. I knew the only way out, was to terminate the dream by waking up - as this would instantly terminate 'her' and the whole dream world. I could 'feel' my real body at this point, but I was still in the dream. I told her what I was going to do. I asked her if she had any last words before I erased her from existence. Then I chose to wake up.

I think that's the first time I've ever voluntarily ended a dream despite not knowing it's a dream. It sure caught the nightmare creatures off-guard.
    2. 17-11-11 Back in Time (School), Fighting Lizard Demons

      by , 11-15-2017 at 05:43 AM
In the first dream, I was (for the umpteenth time) in my old school, but a good ten years back in time. Oddly students were seated in the hallways instead of classrooms. I left the building and flew off to look for girls (subconscious awareness this wasn't real and I could do with my DC's whatever I want). But suddenly I remembered doing a certain thing to a certain person would accidentally prevent another thing (that's supposed to happen) from happening. I was in the past, after all.

Long, and complicated dream, can't be bothered to write it all down. I'm half human cop, half lizard/demon. I'm in the police station, and walk over to the coffee machine to get some coffee. I get weird looks from the other officers who are seeing me for the first time (the first half-demon cop on the squad). I notice they made the buttons of the coffee machine bigger so I could still use it (I had very big mutant hands).

In a later scene, I'm still the demon-lizard-guy from before. I'm in Hell, fighting off big demons attacking the "base camp" of the good guys. I'm having to solo several big demons, wrestling them by their horns. The humans were reluctant to join in the fight because I looked rather demonic myself. I couldn't get hurt but was still getting thrashed pretty hard by the demons, who were a lot bigger than I was. Luckily, Thor (from the MCU) suddenly appeared and joined in the fight. He knocked out a few demons with his hammer.
    3. 17-11-14 Supernatural Horrors

      by , 11-14-2017 at 03:40 PM
Pretty cool nightmare. I'd entered some kind of 'other dimension' populated entirely by supernatural killers, one of which was Pennywise the Dancing Clown. It began innocently enough, with me strolling through what looked like a library, though it also sold candy and reminded me of the candy shop in my local movie theater. Suddenly I heard a disembodied voice mock me, and the scene turned dark and scary instantly. There was a scene where I saw a man walking, and every time he appeared again (he walked behind objects sometimes) his face turned gruesome, looked straight at me and screamed loudly in a very demonic manner. There were way more scenes, most of which I forgot. In the end, I found the exit. It was guarded by Pennywise himself. I managed to convince the beast it was best to let me leave, but it was a very tense moment. Pennywise constantly vanished and then reappeared somewhere else right outside my field of vision, right when I was slowly advancing towards the exit gate while trying to convince It. I got out of the gate and found myself back in the "normal" dream world. I immediately flew away as fast as I could. Somehow, as I was escaping, I felt like I *was* one of the monsters.

    4. 17-11-12 Highway Incident

      by , 11-14-2017 at 04:59 AM
There was a car accident on the highway below (multi-level highway, I was on an elevated road, looking down on the 'main' highway below). I ran towards the edge and jumped down, knowing fully well I would float down safely. I think I wanted to help? Anyway, cops were there, and I get very nervous they might see my taser and tactical equipment... which is all illegal where I live... so I decided to fly off when they weren't looking. However, as I reached the altitude of nearby rooftops, I scared some birds and they caught the lady cop's attention. She saw me, but couldn't do anything to stop me anyway.

    5. 17-10-30 Flight to Mediterranean City

      by , 11-02-2017 at 01:48 AM
I was walking through the back of a garden (monastery?), and to get to the house I had to traverse a field inhabited by a bunch of animals. I somehow knew these animals were "nice" and would not attack humans, but there were wolves and even a bear so I did not feet at ease. I think the bear and two wolves were fighting, giving me a chance to slip by. Suddenly I decided to fly, as this was safer. I flew, and found myself over an old Mediterranean-style city. My mind struggled to draw enough scenery so part of the city was repeated over and over. I struggled to find a place to land because the "replication" effect was so strong. I made a loud and messy landing and I'm pretty sure everybody saw me, but I didn't care. Navigating the city, I think I was looking for a man called Arthur. He was supposed to be the real-life King Arthur, except he had a different last name. I think I saw him from a distance, on the first floor terrace of an inn (?).

Dream notes of dream I've entirely forgotten... Recognize brother, but older. Soundtrack with piano and synths, live "happily ever after". I do recall the soundtrack and how cool it was. I still heard it while I was waking up.

    6. Some Notes on Flight

      by , 10-24-2017 at 01:24 PM
      Techniques

I'm listing some techniques I've tried throughout the years, what has worked and what hasn't.

      Thruster hands

Basically, you imagine you're Iron Man, and your hands are jet or rocket engines. This involves holding your hands down by your sides, like Iron Man, or it won't work. That's an unfortunate limitation. It's worked for me once or twice, but it's not instinctive as I like having my arms in front of me in the Superman-pose.

      Verbal commands

Much like how some LD'ers shout "increase clarity" to improve the stability of their dreams, I've found other dream abilities are equally susceptible to verbal commands. While flying, I shout "faster!", and I actually feel a burst of acceleration propelling me faster. And it works almost every time, up to ludicrous speeds.

      'Reaching' forward

Pretty such the Superman pose. I find that by "reaching out" in front of you, it's kind of like a mental cue that you want to head towards this thing you're reaching out to, helping "mental propulsion".

      Problems

      Gaining altitude/transitioning

After all this time, I still have trouble gaining altitude vertically, maintaining altitude when flying horizontally, and especially transitioning from vertical flight (straight up) to horizontal flight forwards.

Perhaps I could try verbal commands to make it easier? Like "higher!" to climb, "forwards!" to go from vertical to horizontal.

Or avoid this problem entirely by not going straight up, but by taking a running start and climbing gradually. It's a lot easier.

      Maneuvering in the air

I find it hard to make maneuvers, for example to dodge a building or other obstacle, while flying horizontally at speed. It's almost like real-life laws like inertia and aerodynamics apply to me. Turning feels hard, and I have to really physically turn my body and then apply intense concentration to make my body actually fly in that new direction (or inertia would just make me continue drifting in the previous direction).

      Other

Speed. My flight speed feels very variable, and changes from dream to dream. Sometimes I reach speeds that feel like barely 200 mp/h. Sometimes closer a 800 mp/h, or even speeds that are completely impossible to real-world standards, like Europe-USA in 10 seconds. Not sure what causes these variations. Sometimes I just can't go beyond a certain speed, no matter how hard I try.

    7. 17-10-19 Sweden School Escape, Left on Island by Gaff, Flying From Gym to Zeebrugge

      by , 10-22-2017 at 02:52 AM
I was in a classroom in northern Sweden. A few more people (all adults) were there with me. They had locked us up for being residents of a hostile nation. They started unlocking the door, and I knew they'll execute us all. I told the others to get ready to fight, and went to the door to open it as soon as it was unlocked. I felt like we were all going to die. The situation was so desperate, we might as well put up a fight. I opened the door, and the others rushed outside. We fought, and most of us were shot dead on the spot or otherwise killed or restrained (to be shot later). I was retrained as well, by a man I remembered from a previous job (in real life), a Dutchman called Michel. I practically begged him to let me go, and much to my surprise he did (out of view of the others). Grateful for the favor of my former colleague, I made my way out of the building, across the courtyard of the school, toward the large gate. It was snowing. When I got to the gate, the police arrived. If they found out I was with the other prisoners, they'd arrest me and I'd get killed after all. I pretended everything was normal and I was just going home after a day at work. It worked, and I got past them, onto the streets. It was very cold, snowing heavily, and it was very dark and gloomy even though it was midday. I was wearing my old Sergio Tacchini coat, something I used to wear when I went to high school myself (graduated 2008). I briefly thought to myself it's no surprise Scandinavian people got so depressed living there, with all the gloominess. I could hear the soundtrack of the dream in the background, a very fitting tune my subconscious made up on the spot. As I started waking up, I wondered how to proceed from there. I had to get out of Sweden somehow, and head south.

I was left behind on a tiny island (just 30 feet across, maybe) by a villain - Gaff from Blade Runner. The island was in a very (extremely) wide river, relatively close to the southern shore. There was a lot of fog, and a chill in the air. Gaff could fly, and he flew off towards an extremely large (width and height) skyscraper on the opposite shore, basically Wallace HQ from Blade Runner 2049. The building was so tall, I thought to myself that even if I could fly, I'd be too scared of heights to go there. Suddenly I was with another person on the island. Gaff. And he was a friend suddenly, also left behind on that island. And I could fly. He held onto me (on my back) and I had to fly us to the shore. But he was so damn heavy! I don't know if I managed to keep from plunging into the water. I knew one thing: we had to destroy that building.

I was in a large open room, maybe a gym. I could fly, and realized doing circus tricks would indeed be a good way to make money and get famous. I did some tricks for an audience, like backflips and stuff. Some guy suspected I was on an invisible support, or hanging by a thread, so I invited him to come and feel. They remained unconvinced (I could feel a wire suddenly, as if I *really* was hanging from a wire, except I wasn't). I got really furious at the guy (not really, I think I was just acting and wanted to do a good villain speech to terrify the DC's). I cut the scene to the next one, somehow, as this is what would happen in movies (I could be director and character of my dream at the same time). It was night now, and I exited the gym through the back exit. I saw the people who were watching earlier at their cars, ready to leave. They were talking some more. I looked at one of them with some regret for my earlier behavior, then flew away. Higher, higher and then away over the city. It was day all of a sudden, and I didn't notice this transition. I was now aware I was dreaming, but it wasn't a sudden "!!!" moment, but more as if I'd known all along (I did not). I had to dodge some kind of windmill on a rooftop, and I think the blade hit me (I felt it). No injuries, though. I flew along the coastline now, approaching the harbor of what looked like Zeebrugge (Belgium). The waters were fierce and I could see a large cargo ship smashing violently into the waves. I wanted to fly home, to Brasschaat where I live. I realized that was far, but trying to teleport was too hard (dream felt real) and too risky (to avoid waking up). Just a moment later, the image froze and I lost the dream. I knew I could maybe "restart" the dream but that would take too much effort so I opened my eyes.
    8. 17-10-06 German Resistance, Flight

      by , 10-08-2017 at 03:48 AM
I'm in a room with a bunch of other people. We're the German resistance, rebelling against the current German government (present day). Much to my surprise, my grandmother (deceased since 2009, she was a Nazi and fled Germany when the Soviet army invaded from the east) was also a part of the resistance. But then, the government (presumably) sent in a T-1000 (Terminator 2) to hunt us down. We scattered and ran in various directions. We were now in an industrial area, resembling the kind of chemical plant I used to work at. I sprinted as fast as I could which admittedly wasn't fast. Then, I suddenly "remembered" I could fly. I just felt I could. I took off, and flew away from the industrial area, over the river where it was located. I was afraid I might lose altitude and fall in the water, as I hated getting wet, feared drowning and knew I could never take off again from the water. I reached the opposite shore, where there was a city. I was at the waterfront, and saw a man and a woman at a bench. The man was doing magic tricks, though I saw no audience. I was just hovering two feet above the ground instead of walking, and showed it to him saying "I can do magic too!". He did not look impressed, and waved his hand underneath me, thinking there would be a wire or some kind of other object supporting me. But when he saw there was nothing, he realized I was hovering for real. They both looked flabbergasted no. I said I could fly, too. I found it hard to take off from a level surface, so I jumped off the waterfront path (into the water). I flew, and gained some altitude. People were watching now, and to be honest I was being vain and I enjoyed the attention. I did some more stuff like fly up and walk across a building' walls horizontally (briefly).

In a later scene, I was in a supermarket. I met a former colleague (Gaspard). I greeted him and we chatted a bit.
    9. 17-05-03 Loser Guardians OTG, Flying in Santa Monica, 12:14

      by , 05-05-2017 at 03:32 AM
I wrote down, but don't recall what it means: "no fate but what we make" (I watched Terminator earlier that day) and Ian McKellen. I think Ian said the famous Terminator line as part of a speech to 'us'. Us probably refers to several characters I met in the dreams I'll now summarize (they're all related, same 'continuity').

I was doing some kind of basketball challenge. I had to dribble my way through a kind of trench (?), maneuvering my way past several opponents. Not willing to give up, I somehow outdid myself, and made it to the end. That would never work in real life.

I remember being in a hotel, and getting into a dumbwaiter in the kitchen. It went up, and I ended up between the corpses in a morgue...

Notes mention Rick Moranis, don't recall the scene.

Throughout the previous dreams (of which I forgot key scenes), a team had been assembled of random people I met in those dreams. Like the "Guardians of the Galaxy", but even bigger losers. One of them was a waiter from that hotel, perhaps Moranis was another. And me, of course - the basketball guy. We all traveled in a cool-looking spaceship. We flew through a kind of wormhole, into a dark planet's atmosphere.

      --

First dream completely unrelated to the first bunch. I was at Santa Monica Beach, and I was wearing absolutely ridiculous clothing. A bloody skirt? Pink, no less? I was understandably embarrassed. I didn't want to be seen. I started flying to stay out of sight. I was having fun, so the clothes thing kind of vanished (if you don't focus on it, the dream makes it vanish) as it ceased to be relevant. Flying low through a street, a guy suddenly turned to me and asked something really weird. I think he asked me to record something on tape...? I kept flying, but everywhere I looked, there he was... asking the same question over and over again, in exactly the same tone. I flew higher to get away, but when I looked back (down), there he was! Somehow right behind me in mid-air, asking that question again! I was seriously freaked out at this point. I violently threw him off of me, and he fell down. I somehow had an injury in my side all of a sudden? I woke up, and for some reason immediately checked my body for the injury. Not sure why I did that.

Right before I opened my eyes, I had a vision of a number. 12:14 (in green numerals). I finally woke up, and checked the time. It was 12:14...
    10. 17-05-01 Too Many Dreams

      by , 05-05-2017 at 02:22 AM
Boatload of dreams this night, a lot of it XXX-rated so expect to see a lot of "redacted". We start with a fully redacted sex dream featuring REDACTED.

I'm held captive in a room up high in a skyscraper. I remember seeing a painting (?) and thinking the bad guys are the developers of the game "Hitman". Random, I know... The jail had bars that somehow "rotate" (hard to explain) which makes it impossible to break out. A jail guard sees me move and assumes I wanted to escape, so he comes in and installs an additional neck restraint which secures my neck to the wall. At some point I escape anyway, and jump through a window and fall down. But I somehow knew I'd be fine. The skyscraper looks quite futuristic.

In this dream I was flying outdoors, using a poncho I was wearing as a cape that helped me fly (it generated lift, somehow). I landed, and continue a previous plot by talking to a Spanish girl (something about her high-heeled shoes?).

Zombies attacked our old house. I was in the garden with my mom. I tried to fight, but my guns would not fire (I couldn't pull the trigger, typical in scary dreams), so I had to resort to using an improvised melee weapon.

I remember REDACTED & a T-Rex, and I saw in first person from her perspective how it bit her, holding her in its maw (still on the ground). Her sight went black, and I saw her body on the ground with a bite taken out of it.

I was watching TV, watching REDACTED by dinosaurs and giant wurms (like the ones from 2005's King Kong). REDACTED, thinking my dad and his wife Debby (who were in front of me, also watching the movie) wouldn't notice. I asked them what these wurm-things were. My dad simply said (in that typical tone): "Could you stop that, please". I knew he knew REDACTED." I simply replied "I'm not doing anything".

I remember a scene in which I recalled I'd forgotten my bicycle somewhere in southern France... I figured I should leave it there, as the cost of retrieving it would be higher than the price of the actual bike.

Dream that started in a gym and has way too many small random details, I will not bother to even *try* writing this all down. REDACTED on catwalks above the ground, waiting for them to start fighting (and REDACTED), but it doesn't happen.
    11. 17-04-21 Bus Driver Rams People, Running & Flying

      by , 05-05-2017 at 01:11 AM
It was night and I was on a bus, right behind the driver. The driver was completely nuts, and rammed several cars off the road. After a bridge, I got off the bus, and realized I should flee, as I heard the police coming. I sneaked away and started running as fast as I could. I could feel gravity decreasing, so I naturally took to the sky and started flying. The whole world felt like it took place on a circular artificial floating island. I was running on the outer "edge" of the platform. Beyond that were more buildings, and then the ocean.

    12. 17-02-08 Brussels Nuked, Monster Chase, More Nightmares, Driving

      by , 02-09-2017 at 07:01 AM
I was in a large high-rise with several others. Among them my former friends (Fenn & Barra). There was a large window overlooking the city, which was definitely Brussels. The atmosphere was tense. Something was happening, something "global". I said "they" would never go as far as nuking a certain military target (some 20 miles from the city). But then, a nuclear explosion occurred right in the center of the city. In that split second, I came to the horrible realization how wrong I was. The explosion was blinding and the fireball spread quickly, and I knew we were fucked. In that moment, I realized I was going to die. There was not enough time to think about it, not even enough time to get properly scared (only the onset of fear with a little bit of denial). I felt the intense heat from the blast almost scorching my face, and everything got really bright as the fireball arrived. But suddenly, it was gone. No fireball, no other people, nothing. I was still terrified, ran the other direction and jumped out of the window on the other side of the building (a smaller window). Not sure if it broke, or if I phased through it. I effortlessly flew away, and got out of there. After a while, I was flying over a wide road that no longer looked like Brussels. The weather was a lot sunnier than before, also. I made another stylish landing, and remembered what I'd seen. I had obviously been thrown back in time, somehow. I thought to myself that I should probably do something about it, and stop it from happening. After all, I had knowledge of the events, and I had this cool set of powers which kind of made me responsible. I think I suddenly 'knew' about all my other abilities, ones I had used in previous dreams but not in this one yet.

Nightmare time. I recall being in a building (just on floor, ground level) full of poorly-lit (and confusing) corridors with doors that all looked the same. Some kind of monster was loose. I could never get a proper look at it, but it was the stuff of nightmares. It didn't really have a shape of its own. It can best be compared with "The Thing", as it could also body-snatch victims. In one scene, it got very close as it attacked me and another person (or several). At this point, it was more or less an amorphous mass of grey "matter", but definitely biological (a bit like the Molded from Resident Evil 7). It made a leap for me, but I ducked away and it missed. It undoubtedly killed the other guy as I ran away through the corridors - terrified of course. I went through doors without knowing where they'd lead me. They all looked the same. I closed doors behind me, and locked them. It could bust through doors without a problem. I entered a bathroom, and for a moment I thought I'd run into a dead end. It would catch me for sure. But then I noticed a door I hadn't seen before... on the opposite side of the entrance. It lead to another wing of the building. I kept running, and came to the docks (!!). There was a person in the last room before I got outside (I think). I also found a box full of things I could use as weapon. Including a rusty Katana in a plain wooden sheath. I shrugged at the shitty quality of the blade, and took it anyway. I ran across the docks, an reached a ship. It looked like an old fishing boat. I managed to convince the crew and owner that we needed to leave right away. As they prepared to cast off, I kept an eye on the building. I *knew* the beast wasn't going to give up, and it was after me.

This nightmare took place on an island, I think. There was some kind of "infection" spreading. Not a simple disease, but something monstrous. I knew this dream was "the sequel" to the previous one. The whole atmosphere was terrifying. In the end, we'd made it to an airport, and had boarded a plane to escape. I looked out of the window as we were taxiing. The tarmac was covered in a kind of fleshy "red weed", which was taking over the whole island. But only we (me and the others from the group) could see it... no one else. It was playing mind tricks on us... In another scene, someone had died. One of my companions, an alien (humanoid, but not quite human), was angry at me because I hadn't paid my proper respects at his funeral. I was too shocked at the time, because his body was full of (and overgrown with) the horrific red weed. It was a repulsive sight. In the end, we had to do something to end the infection. It happened in a relatively small basement, and involved a bizarre puzzle on the wall involving foods (linking food to a certain category, also some math)...

I was driving car through city at night. But something just felt "wrong". Like, something evil was in the air. A general sense of dread that also filled the previous dream. Suddenly, my car didn't want to accelerate properly anymore, and it took effort on my part just to make it move. I pulled over. At some point I pull a cover off my car (like a sail people put over their cars to protect them from the winter cold). I drove off again, and noticed I'd forgotten to turn my lights on again. At a junction, I looked to my right and recognized a former classmate (Tim Botte) on the sidewalk. I think I was distracted and didn't realize the light had gone green. I made a right turn at the light (depite not being in the right section for that maneuver). What a boring ending!
    13. 17-01-30 Video Game World, Flight, Rooftop Whorehouse

      by , 02-01-2017 at 12:48 AM
I was in some kind of video game world. I flew up, but went way faster than I expected. I went so high, I could see beyond the borders of "programmed space", like when you go out of bounds or "no-clip" out of the map in a game. From that altitude, the world looked very artificial and gamey indeed.

I came down again and came in for a landing near a big building. My approach was fast, and at very low altitude, so I skidded on the gravely ground for several dozen meters before coming to a stop. There were some people and some stuff I don't remember probably happened, but after that, I took off again (which was a challenge from ground level, flight is easier if you jump off stuff) and flew up to land on the roof of the big building.

The building resembled a huge supermarket, not high but very big. On the roof, I encountered a few kids, many aged between 8 and 12. I asked them if they were planning to jump. Apparently, flight was common enough in this dream universe for that question to make sense! Now that I think of it, I recall jumping off a building (no fear whatsoever) and flying effortlessly, but don't remember when this happened in the narrative of the dream. Anyway, the kids laughed at my suggestion and said they were there for another reason.

I followed them into some kind of "bar". It was some shady dude's apartment (on the roof of the supermarket!), but retrofitted to act as a bar. There were some minimally dressed young women laying around, one on a couch, a few more standing around elsewhere. I didn't think they were too attractive. I found the guy who ran the place in the kitchen. I bought a drink, and I think he offered me "other services" as well (okay, he was a pimp). I wasn't into the idea at first, but in the end I was like "what the hell, okay" and said I wanted the chick laying on the sofa, because she was the hottest of the bunch. Sue me.

Awesome sequence of dreams, very memorable. I had orders to assassinate a military officer (using a sniper rifle) at a military base. But I had trouble identifying him, and there were far too many other soldiers around to get a closer look. I think I temporarily gave up.

Another scene. I'm in a big city, at night, and it looks like it's the 1920's. It's raining. I'm in a parking lot (lots of old timers, that's how I know I was in the past), and I wanted to steal car to get out of there. My motivating for this criminal behavior is a mystery to me. The door opened, as door locks didn't exist yet in this dream version of 1920. The car alarm went off, and it was loud. A voice told me (or my own inner voice?) that I needed keys to start the car, so it was pointless to even try. But it was too late... between two buildings, I could see a man, a cop, approaching - investigating the alarm. I tried to casually walk away from the vehicle, but knew he'd seen me and was following me. He would arrest me soon, I thought. But then, something happened. I "felt" like I could fly. I could sense gravity "tugging" at me, almost begging me to take off - it's hard to describe. I realized it was the ultimate way to escape arrest. Here begins the "pseudo-lucid" part of the dream. I have all the abilities I'd have if I was lucid, and have some subconscious idea that I am in control and this isn't real, but at the same time not really... once again, very hard to describe. I still blindly follow the "plot" of the dream as if I wasn't lucid. I take off, and look back at the cop in mid-air. He stands there, looking at me, bummed out he couldn't arrest me. I give him the finger, and fly away. The flying, despite the rain and the darkness, felt exhilarating as hell. I looked down, or saw my shadow on a building, and saw I was wearing my long black trench coat. I was also wearing a black leather cowboy hat. I flew through the city, fast. So fast, I flew straight towards a building and knew I'd hit it if I didn't make evasive maneuvers pronto. But as usual, I knew such high speed maneuvers would be difficult, and I was too lazy. I decided to simply fly right through the building instead. I expected to violently burst through the windows and through the whole building, but instead I just kind of "no-clipped" through it, as if it was a fake video game object. This felt dissatisfying.

I flew into the next scene. Near the base from the beginning of the dream sequence was the Hollywood sign, which I flew past. It was sunset. I decided to finish my mission. Here things get violent. Continue reading at your own peril. I landed in the middle of the base, and smashed my way into the largest building. I fought soldiers, and defeated them easily using super-strength. I smashed them into walls, through walls, into each other, and worse. If doors were closed, I casually smashed them down, or just walked through the wall (physically breaking it down, not phasing through). At one point, to get to the floor above me, I just super-jumped up, smashed through the ceiling, and ended up on the floor above! In combat, I used a form of super-speed (the same mental power that propels me in flight) to bash into soldiers, to get a bit of extra punch. Anyway, I couldn't find my target. I grabbed a soldier, and forced him to tell me where his commander was. The soldier told me he was in the small building across from the big one I was in. I walked over to it, and casually bashed in the massive steel door. There he was, the target. Suddenly, I was attacked by several soldiers that came running at me from the courtyard. They stabbed me with their knives (in the chest and abdomen), but my skin was as solid as Superman's and they did not penetrate. It felt very uncomfortable, though. I easily "defeated" the soldiers. Again, very violent moment coming up. I turned to the surviving soldiers, as I was holding another one in my iron grip. I told them I would rip their buddy's head off. The commander mockingly said he doubted I could do that. The soldiers, on the other hand, said he should not doubt my words. They'd seen me in action before. Eager to prove my power, I started violently jerking my prey's head to the back. I used my mental "lucid powers" to imagine it being easy, but it still gave a lot of resistance. In the end, I could see a red "line" in his neck where the skin started tearing from the pressure... That's where the dream ended. It was ludicrously violent, but it felt so good. I was an absolute terror, the "anti-Superman". It felt... liberating! The entire dream had a pretty cool pop-rock soundtrack, and I think I may have heard the song in real life before.

In a later dream, I was an "escort dude", or gigolo. People were standing by a black board, and had to "grade me". Disturbingly, my mother was there too, and also graded me (gross!).

I was in a classroom, among teenagers, but I was an adult myself. I lost my temper, as the other managed to say things that got under my skin and made me relive the horror of my own high school years (and history with bullying). I was desperate to affirm my superiority over them ("I'm an adult, you can't bully me anymore!") but felt utterly powerless. Guess that's why I enjoy ripping DC's heads off...

I was carrying trash bags while riding on a motorcycle through my hometown. One bag in each hand... Cool 80's synth music played in the background.

Futuristic military scene, videogame-like, healing gel (that you had to squirt all over you), I'm hurt so I fall behind. We rush to the medivac/extraction chopper/VTOL. Someone (a female squad member) comes back for me and helps me onto the chopper/VTOL (she yelled at me to hurry, I tell her to heal me so I can run properly). The craft flies away in third person.

Futuristic world, a lot of metal. Some kind of airport? Flying cars (a Fiat, no wheels) and others vehicles with AG drives. It was still a military installation, I think. I learn I can hover and possibly fly. Someone (still a woman) sees, and informs me non-vehicular flight is not allowed here. I see a sign, indicating human flight is indeed illegal here.

Vision resembling scene from "Another Earth"? Other Earth in the sky.
