      Normal Dream: My Friend...the Anti-Christ?
Series: The End of Days, Episode 1
      around 11:00am

      Category - WTF/Action

It was World War 3 and I had just entered our safe house. I can't remember what had just happened, but I was shocked and felt weird. I walked up to my friend cliff and slammed him against the wall and said, "WTF was that! Who are you!?!" He smiled and knocked me back to the ground without doing anything. He smiled as I tried to recover and said in a sarcastic tone, "Me? I'm your friend..." There was an uneasy pause and he spoke again, "Just your friend...the Anti-Christ!" I could see fire burning in his eyes. I felt some very odd mixed feelings. I just found out my best friend through my life was the anti-christ and christianity had been confirmed all at once. My mind started racing and I pushed the thoughts out and said, "No, no. That is impossible." Then then lifted his hand and slammed me onto a table without touching me. A blanket wrapped so tightly around me that I couldn't move. He then shot a stream of fire from his eyes and lit the blanket on fire. I was too shocked by the whole situation to do anything. I noticed that they flames weren't burning me at all. I let out a fake howl of pain and acted dead.

Once cliff turned his back, I wiggled my arms until a small space formed. I squeezed my arms in tight and then slammed them outward, throwing off the burning blanket and jumping to my feet. Cliff looked at me and said, "So, how did you like the pain?" I smiled and said, "I couldn't feel a thing." Cliff muttered, "God must be watching over you after all." I then began asking him questions about things that I no longer remember. I looked around the safe house and there were tons of people I knew in there, friends and family. Cliff was trying to get me to join him. I laughed and said, "You told all of these people before me? All that time we spent and you never told me?" I'm sorry, but you haven't chosen a path that I cannot follow. Several people, Jess and Diddy, tried to convince me that the world would be ours. We could have it all. Diddy said, "You could own the Dallas Cowboys. You could be the next Jerry Jones!" I thought about how cool that would be for a moment and then shook my head. I replied, "And destroy the world in the process? Then burn in hell for eternity once I'm dead....Sorry, thats not going to happen. I will not be a slave to anyone...anti-christ or not." I looked at Cliff and said, "Honestly, all those years of friendship." I looked around at all my other friends in the room as well. "All those years...what do I mean to you?" Cliff looked at me with a carefree expression shrugged his shoulders and proceed to mimic stomping a bug." I felt emotion slowly building within. A tear rolled down my face and I looked around and said, "I loved all you guys. So many good memories, gone!" Cliff said, "Then join us." I replied, "I'm leaving. If you have to kill me then do it." Cliff shrugged and said, "If thats what you want. We thought it may come to this."

Cliff then pulled out a butter knife. I reached in my pocket and also pulled out a butter knife. We began an epic butter knife duel. I was running along walls and performing jump stab moves and all kinds of crazy maneuvers. Cliff was also skilled with his butter knife, but it was easy to tell that my butter knife skills were superior. Suddenly, other people in the room jumped in against me. I was fighting in a 30-on-1 butter knife battle. Only a few fought at once though. The others sat in the background and waited their turn (until I knocked somebody down, or through a window, etc.). They stood around us with menacing looks and jabbed their butter knives into the air while growling. Like an old karate movie. I awoke during this epic battle.

It took a few moments for me to comprehend what the f*** all that was. My heart was pumping as I performed a RC (confirmed I was awake), looked in the mirror and said, "What the f***?"

I was in a room planning strategy with several people from the anime, Blood+. We were discussing ways to kill Diva (a queen chiropteran from the anime). Saya was in the room with us, as well as Haji, David, Kai, and Lewis. Suddenly, the door burst open and James "Ironsides" walked in. He stated that he wasn't there for blood, but there to give a warning. He said, "If you pursue Diva, you will all die. However, if you turn Saya over now...your names will be forgotten." I laughed and began making fun of James. I was trying to provoke the evil within him. He also wanted to acquire a large dresser that was in the room with us. It was a vanishing cabinet (like the ones from Harry Potter). He walked up and knocked on it to see if it was hollow. I laughed again and started talking shit. His eyes glowed red with fury, and he stormed out claiming we made a fatal decision. We got back to strategy talks. I was getting bored so I started molding balloons. I was slowly forming faces out of the balloon with my hands. I made a few and then started making a Mega Man face. I looked away at one point and when I looked back, the Mega Man face had changed into a Washington Redskins helmet. I performed a RC and became lucid.

I stood up, turned, and dove headfirst out of the window, taking flight in the process. I was flying over a city. It was dark outside and I heard voices from behind telling me to wait. Saya and a few of the others had apparently became lucid as well. I landed and we all began free-running (parkour). The city was dark and there weren't many street lights. I noticed there were many owls flying around in the city and a lot of homeless people. Several times I performed tricks/stunts over sleeping homeless people. After running around the city for a while, I spotted a chiropteran (human/bat monster hyrid). Me and Saya began battling chiropterans in throughout the city. I cut several of their heads off and Saya finished them off with her blood (her blood is lethal to them). We entered a building and began exploring a crawl space/ventilation duct. I came upon an alternate vent and entered it. The others told me I was going the wrong way, but I ignored them. There was sunlight coming through the vent up ahead. I came to the end of the vent and it opened up onto a beach. I stood on the sand and felt the wind blowing across my face. I could smell the saltwater and even heard/saw several seagulls flying above me. It was a beautiful site indeed. I felt myself waking up, so I immediately prepared to DEILD...

      "Oneironaut vs. the Dream World"

(Wow. This is the longest entry I have made in a long time. Lol. It's been a while since I have taken melatonin, and I ended up taking 6mg last night, before bed. I also took a batch of multi-vitamins late, which might have played a part in this. I had a ridiculously long lucid, filled with some of the most incredible action I've experienced in a long time. Unfortunately, this dream was so long that I was not able to retain a lot of the detail - even though I stopped myself and tried to remind myself of the past events, along the way. Oh well. I was able to recall all of the encounters I had (I think), but the details of each fight (and the timeline of which fights happened when) are either hazy, or completely gone.)

I was back at my High School. (I had gone to a friend's memorial service, on Saturday, and it was at our old High School. I hadn't been on campus in over 10 years, and we actually got to go inside and take a look around, which was pretty surreal.) I was either in the gym or the cafeteria, and there was something strange going on - though I can't remember what it was. A kid near me was trying to help figure out exactly what was causing these strange occurrences, and he looked up behind me and pointed his finger toward the ceiling, yelling out "Look!!" When I looked up, I saw someone's arm, high upon a window sill, drawing itself back, as if trying to stay out of sight, the rest of the body hidden because of my lower position. This was all too familiar, though, because not only did I recall the last time I saw a mysterious arm tuck itself away from my sight, high above the floor, but the arm was decked out in that same tell-tale green and red sweater. I both became lucid and recognized this recurring character, at the same time. "Come on out here, Kruger!" I called up to him, from below, now fully aware that I was dreaming.

Freddy showed up. Unfortunately, I don't remember much of our conversation or fight. I do remember that at one point, he charged at me, and I did something of an aikido-type of counter, sidestepping and grabbing his arms - using his own momentum to turn him into a front flip and land on his back on a cafeteria table. After a while of fighting, he'd ended up giving up. (That makes twice he's given up against me, so far. Ha!) and I continued on around the school.

I remember even less about the next encounter, but I somehow ended up getting into a brawl with SSj Gohan, from Dragonball Z, still in the school. (I would almost think of this as completely random, but I did have a dream that SSJ Gohan was stalking me, some time ago. I was not lucid at that time, and ended up spending the whole dream running from him.) I remember vague images of this live-action kid with bright blond - almost platinum - hair standing up on his head, and wearing that purple gi he'd gotten from Piccolo. Unfortunately, I don't remember much of the actual fight, but I remember that it had ended up back in the gymnasium. I walked toward the closed gym doors, where Gohan was about to make his final stand. When I stepped toward the doors, prepared for anything, I remembered the Kaiyo-Ken attack, which is one of my favorite things to do while lucid. I flexed my upper body and imagined the energy pushing outward from my center. The dream was very vivid, and I could feel the energy surging through me, small flickers of red waves of light radiating around the edges of my peripheral vision. I could tell that my body was ablaze, but - in retrospect - I wish I would have looked at myself or something, to see how awesome it must have looked. Lol. The last thing I remember about this part was pushing open the doors and walking into the gym to finish the fight. Don't remember how it went, though.

      The school scenario continued.
Sometime after my fight with Gohan, though, I had lost lucidity. A couple of friends and I were walking on the top floor of the school, and ended up in a wide open hall that felt somewhat like our old school library. (In real life, the school was only two stories tall. In the dream, it was much, much taller.) There was a long row of windows, set over a wall that was probably about 3 ft high, to our immediate right. Seemingly out of nowhere, a Harrier jet hovered into view, its nose slowly waving from one side to the other while pivoting along the hallway. (I was playing CoD before bed, which heavily features Harriers.) It was scoping for us - one of us, at the very least. The moment it zeroed in on us, the fighter jet opened fire. High-caliber bullets came streaming in through the glass, and my group scattered. Being that I was the closest to the wall, I hit the floor and rolled toward it, positioning myself to a seated crouch in a corner, below the window - just this short, thick stone wall between myself and the flying jet outside. I figured that, if I wasn't directly in front of the window, the jet would no longer be able to see and target me. I was wrong, though. Even through the explosive shower of glass particles, I could see the tracer rounds blazing into the building over me, my friends ducking and diving behind any cover they could find for themselves. Then, the train of supersonic shells began to descend toward me. The plane was now gunning for me, even though I thought I was out of harm's way. I lay down on my back, the bullets cutting down through the glass, and then into the top of the stone wall I was hiding behind, busting through the stone barrier as if it wasn't there. All I could do was watch the tracers break apart my hiding spot and rocket across my body, inches above my chest. A feeling of dread washed over me, and all I just hoped to God that the onslaught stopped - that the pilot would become convinced that I wasn't actually behind this disintegrating wall anymore, and cease fire before his bullets cut through me.

I don't know if it was my subconscious will what made it happen, but the line of fire settled on a height just mere inches over my chest. Even though he kept firing, he wasn't cutting down through the wall anymore. His aim just loomed over me like a limbo bar. With these few passing seconds, I had enough time to process my disbelief at what was happening. I realized that I was still dreaming. Immediately, I jumped up to my feet, completely ignoring the machine gun fire, which I must have simply phased through, because I didn't feel a thing. Itching for revenge, I remember jumping out of the shattered window and landing on the plane itself. I'm not sure exactly what I did to it, but the next thing I remember is levitating in the spot where the jet was once hovering, and looking down below me as the jet fell toward the earth, already engulfed in flames. It hit the side of the building once and exploded, the wreckage crashing down to the courtyard floor.

More time passed, and I was now walking through another section of the school, still lucid. I was in an outside, upstairs hallway, walking with some teenage kid (as a visual aid, here is an actual picture of an upstairs hallway that I took, when we visited the school). He was leading me somewhere, but at the time, I didn't know where. The longer we walked down this hallway, the more it seemed to morph. It was changing from the school to something of a dark, medieval castle, the stair-well area that we were coming to turning out to be a catwalk-connected castle tower. We stepped into the dark tower, and guess who showed up to greet us...Ol' Freddy Kruger. Again. He thanked the kid for leading me to him. Apparently, the unknown kid was just sent out to fetch me. Kruger wasn't the least bit happy about our earlier encounter, and he wanted another go-round. This time (as I had done in a previous dream against him), I matched him nail-for-nail, flicking my fingers so that matching razors came out of my fingertips. We had a short clash in the tower, but again, I don't really remember the details of the hand-to-hand combat. The one image I do still have is of stabbing at his face with my fingers/nails, and him bringing up his own hand, threading his fingers between mine and stopping my hand right in front of his face. We fought for a while, though, and it actually ended up spilling off campus. I remember running out to the parking lot with some girl, and we both jumped into an old muscle car. There was a high speed chase where we were either chasing or being chased by a 'ghost car' that was being 'driven' by Freddy (by that I mean he was just controlling the car, but no one was in it). Unfortunately, I don't remember much more about this part than just weaving through traffic with the girl in the passenger seat.
I believe that it was sometime around here, that I lost lucidity.

(It's possible that this next part was a separate dream, but I honestly don't know, so I will count it as the same one.)

I was back in the High School. There was a girl walking in front of me, and I remember looking at her back, lost in thought. (I don't know if it was the same girl from before.) For a moment, I had completely forgotten about all of the previous events, but the girl looked back at me and said something to jog my memory. (I wish I could remember what it was.) Whatever it was this girl said, she tipped me off that I might be dreaming. A bit surprised at the possibility, I looked at the wall to my right, where a clock was supposed to be. There was no clock, but there was some kind of schedule which showed times that marked certain events. Using that as my clock, I remembered one specific time on the list; 9:59. I turned away from the schedule and when I looked back, there was no 9:59 anywhere on the list. I had to look carefully, because there were times close to it, but there was no 9:59. I was still dreaming! By this time, I was completely amazed that I had not woken up yet. I ignored the girl and tried to recount all of the events of the dream(s) I had been having - thinking back through my fights with Freddy, Gohan and the Harrier. Even by this time, I didn't remember all the details, but I remembered the basics. The girl stopped and asked me something about why I seemed so distant. I told her that I was in the middle of the most incredible lucid dream, and started exclaiming about all the battles I'd won.

We walked through the 'multi-purpose room' (which was the main room that we entered/exited, when I revisited the school in real life, on Saturday), and out the side doors of the school, toward the parking lot. There was someone walking out behind me, but I didn't notice at first. He was talking shit to me, but I wasn't paying him the least bit attention. Eventually, he said something about the boy that had led me to Freddy Kruger, some time ago. I heard him imply that I had kicked the kid's ass (though I don't remember doing so), and that the kid was his brother. Apparently, this DC wanted to fight me, in his brother's name, but I really wasn't interested. I had half a mind to just keep on walking, and let the guy keep on running his mouth. But then he said something about my ex, MJ. I can't remember exactly what it was he said, but it was something like "Or maybe you'd like to hear about what I did to your girlfriend, 'the Virgo." (MJ is the only Virgo I've dated.) I stopped in my tracks and turned around. I recognized the guy. He was B.S., one of the 'tough dudes' back in HS, that you just didn't fuck with. J.S. was his brother (in waking life, but I didn't recognize the kid from before as J.S.). He chuckled at the fact that I had turned around at MJ's name. He said something like "Ohh....why so defensive? She's not really still your girlfriend, is she?" As he said this, two other guys walked up beside him, putting down their bags as if they were all about to kick my ass. Still completely lucid, I said something like "No...but I'm just getting tired of hearing you talk." I stepped up to him, staring him dead in the eye. I said something like "Well? You are apparently looking for a fight. Go ahead. Come on. Do something." This obviously threw him off his game. He stammered a little bit, looking at his friends. I just egged him on. "Come on," I said, looking down at my wrist, as if there was a watch on it. I warned him that "you're running out of time," knowing that I would be waking up soon. If this guy was going to make a move, I wanted him to do it now.

He did. He and his goons all attacked me at once, and I basically just tore them apart, punching and kicking from person to person, not worrying in the least about their attacks. It was like Jackie Chan taking on a bunch of punks. They didn't stand a chance. I just completely took them apart, criss-crossing between them - moving as fast as I could to attack whomever came in range. By this time, there was a crowd gathering, and one guy came close to me yelling "Yeah! Alright! ...." and I punched him in the mouth, thinking he was one of the attackers. The guy stumbled back, holding his face, and said "WTF?! I was rooting for you!!" Quite comically (and in somewhat traditional Jackie Chan fashion), I apologized to the guy and kept on fighting against the small gang of schoolyard bullies.

(I woke up during the fight. From the way things progressed, I was already amazed at how long the dream had lasted. I knew that I'd taken a lot of melatonin, and was expecting that I had slept most of the day away. But when I looked at the clock, it was only around 7:30am - and I didn't go to sleep until around 4:30am. I had only been asleep for 3 hours! I was absolutely blown away by this, and I jumped out of bed and went over to the computer to jot down my notes. Looking for a chance to induce another lucid dream by WBTB, I then went back to bed and tried to fall back asleep, before I stayed up too long to do so. Thanks to the melatonin, I had no trouble drifting back off.)

      Dream Two:
      "Fight and Flight"

I don't remember anything about this dream, before becoming lucid. I was with Todd and, having already known I was dreaming, I was flying over the landscape with him right behind me. Since I had a lot of room to work with (and no real plot to pay attention to) I was really pushing my speed, digging in and trying to go faster than I had, the last time I was flying as fast as possible. I had amazing control, and I would dip down toward the patches of water beneath us, changing directions close to the water and having it spray up around me in my wake. I remember just trying to go faster and faster. Every time I would settle on a speed, I would try to push it even further. Flying over what was either an ocean or a marshland, I came toward a patch of trees. The patch was at least 100 yards wide, maybe slightly longer from front to back. For just a moment, I wondered about trying to fly around these trees, but since I was going so fast, I wanted to try something else.

When I came to the watery forest, I imagined myself phasing from left to right, zig-zagging so fast that I became nothing more than a non-local blur moving through the trees. I have never really done this before in a dream, but it worked perfectly. I didn't lose speed at all. I simply came in contact with the forest, and 'whisked' my way through the trees, shifting myself around so fast that it practically felt that I was in more than one position at once. Still flying at a breakneck pace, I exited the forest, looking back behind me and seeing that Todd was still right there on my heels. There was no trouble with gravity; no 'sinking' feeling, when thinking about the fact that I was trying to fly. I was just in total control of my flight, at a level that was very rare for me.

The last thing I remember about this dream was that we had landed on some far-off jungle island. Night had fallen, and there was a bit of a scenario about a voodoo-type tribe treating us like monsters and plotting our demise. We found ourselves in a torch-lit courtyard, standing before a set of enormous doors made of logs. The doors flew open, and an enormous beast charged out at us. It looked almost human, but had elongated arms like a gorilla, and it was very pissed off. Once again (and this is becoming an unfortunate habit), I can't actually remember much of the actual fight. I do know that we ended up winning, because there was a part afterward, when we were talking to some of the indigenous about our victory.

(Even though this dream seemed much shorter, I woke up almost 6 hours afterward, which I would suppose accounts for most of the details of the fight scenario being lost. All in all, though, the entire night's worth of dreams was absolutely amazing.)

"You're leaving? How the hell are you planning to get out of the city?"

      "By bus."

"That route's run by the gangs. Do you know what they could do to you?"

"I'd kill them if they tried."

"You'd try to kill them, you mean."

      "Well, yes."

An image forms in my mind. The bus I'm on, forced to the side of the road. The leader grabs me by the arm, hauls me to my feet. Keeping center of balance low, I take a quick step past him. Use his grip against him, grab, throw, dislocate his shoulder. Follow through to the next man, punch to the solar plexus. Disarm the knife, strike to the throat.

Unrealistic? Depends on reaction time of second man. Don't underestimate.

"Fine," she says, with the look of a person with too many stubborn people in her life. "I'm coming with you."

      WILD

I had a few uninteresting normal dreams last night. I decided to attempt a WILD during a nap and this is what happened...

I began to feel the body buzz and soon SP fully set in. There were flashes of a beach and ice cream and some other random stuff I can no longer remember. A dream scene started to slowly come into focus. It was blurry, but I could see a man hovering over me. A narrator began to speak as the man started raining hay-makers, rocking my head against the ground in the process. Narrator, "Everyone has those moments...where they feel like all is lost...like their down and out...your life flashes before your eyes and you think about all the choices you have made to this point...wondering where you went wrong...many accept defeat...killing themselves from the inside out...me...I do things differently..." The dream had seemed to have stabilized.

Since I was absolutely getting my ass kicked the entire time the narrator was speaking, I thought it would be silly to just stand up like nothing was wrong. I slowly rolled up to one knee and the guy (who appeared to be a gang member) kicked me in the face, knocking me flat one my back. I spit out a mouth full of blood and rolled over to my side. I spotted a good size shard of glass laying on the ground next to me. I stealthily snatched it and began to laugh at my attacker. He up beside me, hovered over my face and said, "What the f*** is so funny b*tch? You haven't had enough?" I immediately spit in his face and sank the glass shard into the back of his foot. I then ripped it through his achilles tendon, causing him to topple over in agony. I scrambled to my feet and scanned the area. I pulled a nearby road sign out of the concrete and beat the guys head to mush. I took his gun and began performing some stabilization techniques. Everything seemed very clear and vivid. My friend Ryano came running up to me and asked if I was ok. I told him that the guy had pistol whipped me before I could get any information from him. Ryano looked at the dead guy and muttered, "Damn!" I then took off down the street and soon the dream scene changed.

I was in a building with white walls that were lined with a zebra-like black stripe pattern. I came upon a section of the building that had many mirrors set up. I heard someone approaching, so I ducked down behind a structure and located the person using the mirrors. It was Ryano. He was talking on a radio to someone. Ryano, "Russell couldn't get the job done...No, he is dead...I don't know, his brains are splattered along the f***ing sidewalk...Don't worry I handle it myself..."
Somewhere around here I lost lucidity. I snuck around behind Ryano and put a gun to the back of his head. I whispered in his ear, "Traitors burn in hell." I then pulled the trigger before he could get a word out. He dropped dead, face first. There wasn't any actual gunfire, noise, or a wound, but he was dead. I grabbed his pistol and took off running toward the front of the building. 5 well dressed agents closed in on my position and we engaged in an intense gunfight. Again, no actually shots were fired, but people dropped whenever I hit them. After taking care of the agents I hauled ass toward the front of the building. I suddenly fell fast first, because I had been shot in the back of the leg. As I hit the ground, I turned a shot the agent who had popped me. I scrambled to my feet and began limp/running to the front of the building where I heard, "Aaaannnndddd CUT!" There was a film crew and the front and we all had been acting out a movie the entire time. The director spoke for a few moments, but I don't remember what it was about.

The next thing I remember, I am at a very fancy movie theater. I'm with Cort who was wearing a white dress, white gloves, a diamond necklace, and a diamond tiara. She looked absolutely stunning. I was wearing a suit. We were watching a movie scene that contained myself, Denzel Washington, and Ian Mckellen. We were in a office that looked like it belonged to a very wealthy man. Mckellen was sitting behind a desk, me and Denzel were standing in front of the desk. My character was watching the door and Denzel began to speak. (I don't remember all of the dialogue, but here is some of it)...Denzel looked pissed as he spoke, "Did you really think you could just ship me off and the past would never catch up to you?" Mckellen replied, "It was to protect you. We..." Denzel interrupted with an angered voice, "Protect me from what? You weren't protecting me. You were protecting yourself!" Mckellen was now raising his voice. He slammed his fist on the table and stood up, "We raised you like you were our own. Gave you everything you could ever want! Loved you like any parent would!" Denzel smiled and replied, "What about Teressa...Jermaine...little Michael? You left them to die. Never even mentioned they were my family." Mckellen sighed and calmly said, "It couldn't be helped." Denzel then pulled his gun and pointed it at Mckellen's face. Mckellen gave a faint smile and spoke, "Are you going to shoot your own father?" "You aren't my father." replied Denzel as he pulled the trigger. Mckellen fell face down onto the desk. My character spoke, "We need to go...NOW!" There were some action scenes next with some gunfights and whatnot. The movie abruptly stopped during the action scenes.

Some people in the theater began screaming and pointing at the ceiling. There was a massive crack in the roof and it was slowly growing. We exited the theater immediately, and I met up with Chris R, Sardaddy, and Just H. We took a smoke break and talked about the movie (which was the premier of my first big supporting role). The movie was called "Warranted Revenge." I awoke during the conversation.

I thought I had posted this one in my old DJ, because it was written down in my notebook for May 2010. I must have already left the site then. Anyway, time for the world exclusive (lol)...
I remember drifting off at my Grandpa's house while watching westerns with him. As I began to doze off, my body slipped in and out of SP several times before I was able to hold on to it. I can't remember the HI/HH I experienced, but entered the dream and found myself in the same place I had fallen asleep. I looked around the living room and something was different. There were five random people in western attire (cowboy hats, boots with spurs, etc) sleeping on the floor around me. I kicked the nearest one in the ribs and woke him up. I asked why he was sleeping in my floor and he seemed confused. He looked around and then looked back at me and said, "No I wasn't." I then picked him up off the ground and launched him through the window. He scrambled to his feet and pulled out a revolver. I slowly walked toward him as he fired shot after shot into my chest. I was bleeding pretty profusely, but the bullets felt like small pillows. I dove head first out the window and grabbed the guy in the process. Never touching the ground, I took flight and flew a couple hundred feet into the sky. I hovered for a moment and then dropped the cowboy. He plummeted to the ground and in a comedic turn of events, put a deep, cartoon-style, outlined indention into the ground. I landed back down below and noticed the sky started to get dark.

After a few moments a large cloud rolled in and I noticed it looked a lot like Darkside (large black boss from Kingdom Hearts 1). Suddenly, the cloud spread apart in the center, forming an open circular. It was as if a giant vacuum had sucked the center of the cloud out from above it. The circular hole swirled and formed a heart shape. I could see, what appeared to be, black snow falling from the hole. As the snow got closer to me I realized it wasn't snow at all. I threw out my hand violently, spread my fingers wide, and imagined my keyblade. I felt cold steel touch my fingertips just as the heartless landed in front of me. My keyblade (crown-like handle, with razor sharp pot leaves, and vines curling up the shaft. The key notches is a large gold pot leaf). I began slaying them one after another. After battling for a good while, I looked up and saw endless amounts of black specs floating down toward me. I knew I had to attack the source or they would never stop. I took flight, battling heartless in mid-air as I ascended to the large heart-shaped recess in the clouds. The moment I entered the recess, the clouds slammed all around me, pitting me in complete darkness.

I looked around, but I couldn't see anything. The air was frigid and I began to feel little frightened. Something flashed in the corner of my eye. I wheeled around to see what it was, but there was nothing but black. The exact moment I turned back around, there was a hooded ghost (looked like a dementor from Harry Potter) a few feet in front of me. Before I could react it launched itself toward me and penetrated my body (through my chest/abdomen). For a moment, I could feel it swirling around inside of me. It was rather creepy, but then I felt an enormous sense of power. I raised my keyblade in front of me and it was now glowing a bright gold color. The vines that were wrapped around the shaft had turned into green snakes. I watched them for a moment as they continuously curled around the body of the key. Every now and then they would let out a hiss and snap at the air. I swung my keyblade and blew away the dark clouds that surrounded me. I could see several heartless flying around the area, so I took off toward them. I had let my excitement grow too strong and the dream began to fade. I'm pretty sure I managed to stay in the dream, but I lost lucidity soon after...

I was on vacation in some Spanish-speaking country. I was in a large group that was walking through a forest area. There was an extremely attractive girl walking in front of me, so I decided to become friendly with her. The group had came to a stop, but I purposely was looking away and bumped/walked into her. She turned around and looked a bit startled, I quickly said, "Oh shit, I'm so sorry about that." She didn't seem upset when she replied (I don't remember how the conversation went exactly, but this is pretty close), "Well, you should probably pay attention to what you are doing." I apologized again and said, "I'm pretty sure I saw an ocelot walk by over there (my excuse for bumping into her ). She got excited and said, "Ooh really?" I said, "Yeah, I'm pretty sure...though I am a little high at the moment." She smiled and said, "Yeah, I can tell...your eyes are really red." I smiled back and said, "Anyway, you want to go check it out (I pointed in the direction of the non-existent ocelot?)" She looked a little hesitant so I finished out my scheme, "I need to lag behind anyway, so I can smoke this blunt. You can tag along...might see something cool in the process..." She agreed and we snuck away from the group. We sat down and began smoking the blunt. She looked at me and said, "An ocelot huh? You must think your pretty clever." I laughed and said, "Nah, I'm just pretty high." After a bit we began kissing and she moved on to blowing me.

I can't remember how we got back or what happened during this time, but the next thing I remember we were back with the group. Me and her were talking and she said something about lucid dreaming. As soon as she said it, I looked around and thought, "Where the f*** am I?" I did a quick nose pinch and realized I was dreaming. I already knew what I wanted to do, so I grabbed the girl by the hand and took flight. We flew above the forest and I began singing a whole new world (I do this a lot, lol)..."I can show you the world...shining shimmering splendors..." After singing for a bit, we touched down and I told her, "Watch this!" I threw out my hand and summoned my keyblade. As soon as I summoned it, one of the snakes stretched out and bit her arm. She toppled over to the ground and began twitching as white foamed poured from her mouth. "Shit. I think I killed her." I looked at her and she was definitely dead. I thought, "Damn, I should have sang...'I can show you the Underworld." My snakes covered her and quickly devoured her body. My keyblade began to glow and I could tell it had just increased in power. I then set off to find more people for it to devour when I was attacked by heartless (mostly neo shadows). With my newly found power, my keyblade devoured heartless after heartless until it was glowing so bright, it hurt my eyes to look at. I then swung it around and shouted "super-duper crazy attack!" (lol). A huge golden flash, boomed out of the keyblade and completely annihilated the surrounding area. All the trees were cut in half and heartless remains were scattered all over the placed. I had black heartless goo all over myself. I wiped some on my hand and smelled it. It smelled like black licorice. I picked up an arm and squeezed the goo into my mouth. It tasted like unflavored pudding (if there ever was such a thing). After milking the arm dry, I took off running through my newly formed path of destruction. Before I could reach the other side of the woods I woke up.
I have since renamed my attack "Souler Flare." I thought it was a bit cooler than super-duper crazy attack.

....and now for the dream in which I first summoned my own unique keyblade, "The Cannabis Key"....

      An excerpt from the dream...
...We were in a large field and it was very dark outside. I looked out to the horizon and made the sun rise. As soon as the sun rose completely a large dark, misty cloud moved in and blocked off the sun. A pitch black shadow was cast all around us. Suddenly black figures began to form within the shadow. The shadow had grown to an enormous size making the ground pitch black as far as the eyes could see. The sky began to swirl with dark purple and deep orange. The figures began to rise out of the ground and I noticed they had an all too familiar symbol on their chests. They were heartless! The demonic looking heartless began to surround me and Cliff (the heartless were much more sinister than the heartless from the Kingdom Hearts games). I looked over toward Cliff and gave a quick nod. We then held out our arms and summoned keyblades out of thin air.

My keyblade was awesome (I plan on drawing it and posting the picture in my DJ...eventually ). The shaft and handle of the ketyblade was extremely shiny and appeared to be solid gold. A green, twisting vine with razor sharp pot leaves curled up the keyblade Note: In my later dreams, green snakes twisted up the shaft of the keyblade instead of vines. The ridges for the end of the key was a large razor sharp pot leaf. The handle had large emeralds and diamonds encrusted in the gold. The handle was a (king's) crown shape that folded over my hand as I held it (like a protector/shield for the "sword" hand. It felt light as a feather and I began attacking the heartless. My buddy Cliff's keyblade was pretty cool as well. It was flaming on the end and there was a white spiraling metal that curled all the way up the shaft of the keyblade. The ridges on his keyblade looked like a normal key, but I couldn't really tell because they were engulfed in flames. The spiral made the keyblade look similar to a joint. He also had some razor sharp pot leafs here and there.

We fought the heartless for a while, but they just kept multiplying. Cliff looked at me and said, "Shit! There are too many of them." I looked at him and said, "Try this!" I backed up a few steps and felt energy growing inside me. I then unleashed and allowed the energy to burst out of every square inch of my body. My clothes turned black and blue as did my keyblade. I saw a strange nearly invisible veil fall over me. I had turned into the wisdom form (from KH2). I began shooting white balls of fire (as wells as stars, beams, and other shapes of a white hot flames). After battling the heatless by flying around and shooting and also performing some crazy acrobatics and shooting, I awoke from my dream.

      "Penrose"

This dream had something to do with Inception, but I can't remember exactly how it tied in. (I had been watching the movie, when I went to bed.) There was a gunfight going on, in and around some multi-tiered structure, at night. There were some snipers around the facility, and my group and I spent most of our time on the run. I don't remember much, but there was a certain high pillar or something, that I kept falling off of. Before I hit the ground, I would realize that this was all a dream, and my first instinct would be to try to wake myself up, before impact. But instead of waking up, I would simply restart the dream from the beginning, having lost lucidity. I would then get back to that same pillar, fall off again, realize I was dreaming and instinctually try to wake myself up, before I hit the ground. And then I would just start the dream over again. I don't know how many times I did this, but it was quite a few. Some time later, my friends and I had gotten back into the area where the pillar was. Something had changed this time, though, and we ended up taking a different trail, slipping down into a trap door in the floor, away from our attackers. We ended up in a house that was somehow "under" the facility that we'd been fighting in.

The next day came. We were still in the house, but the whole facility above us - along with the whole gunfight scenario - was gone. We were partying a bit. My friend Sam was there, and her and the others were passing around some liquor. I kept trying to get some, but every time I would get close to the bottle, it would get passed over to somebody else, and out of my reach.

The only thing I really remember is that I was driving around the Lake Mary area with my dad and a few other people. It seemed like the city, but there were a few differences in the geography. Later, we were in a park, smoking bud. Afterward, we were driving back down Lake Emma, and I was only wearing my underwear. Someone in the car wanted some cigarettes, so we headed toward a convenience store, and passed by a bunch of cops, along the way. They were doing some kind of driving drills, on the road, and had caused a huge accident. The last thing I remember is trying to maneuver around the wreck.

The only thing I remember is some chase sequence where I'm trying to catch this ninja girl (though I don't think it was the same girl that I was in my "Ninja Girl" dream, a while back). We were running around a dock/harbor area, and I had pyrokinesis. I remember throwing some fireballs at her, but she was just too quick and nimble; dashing and dodging around pretty much everything I threw at her, before taking off again and making me continue to chase her through the night.

I'm abroad. I go to a building, then to a store and then to another store. Then I go back to the building to take a written test. After I finish Nr warns me not to complain about the test while I grab some ice-cream. Then I'm in a flat where two girls like pot. Their mother rang the bell and I had to go down to meet her.

Time to eat some veggies (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was a customer in a fast food joint and because the staff thought I was very nice I was the favourite customer. I also had some fighting thing organized where other customers could challenge me to a fight and I would defeat them. I did some stuff and upgraded the security to the maximum level available.

After a while some angry customer came in. He was an unshaven blonde man and he challenged me to a fight. I think I defeated him and he decided to run away. I was offered a table and the place soon morphed into a fancy restaurant.

I was eating there with some other people. Clockwise from my seat: A girl from the fast food staff, a girl from this restaurant (directly across me), my friend J and my friend Jv. We all had vegetables and I had some ham set aside for later. Someone next to me also had some delicious looking oranges in their food. I tried my food and it wasn't half bad.

After having some fun talking the owner of the restaurant came to our table and accused us of damaging the wall. I was seated facing the damaged part and I saw that the white wall was cracked. The owner said that this restaurant was really important because some new railroads were being made and this town was an important place where lots of people would stop by on their way to wherever the train was headed. He then warned up that this was going to cost us a lot of money.

I asked him if he had any proof (we really hadn't done it) and he said he didn't need any. I got a little annoyed and I told him: "So basically we're going to have to pay just because you say so?"

I demanded that he call the police so that they could see that our fingerprints were not on the wall and he did it with a white phone on a corner. (Not a cell phone, it was just sort of there for no reason)

The security from the fast food place came out and since I had upgraded it to maximum level they got there really fast. Once in the restaurant they just took away the owner without searching for clues or understanding the situation. I was somewhat shocked, but I said: "Oh well, as long as it works"

I remember a scene that involved some millipedes crawling after me. I sat up on the car, and they kept crawling, so I cut them in half with a butter knife. Almost immediately a ants were eating them.

I also remember jogging with a classmate, and we were talking about how the new army PT uniforms were going to get improved. We headed to to a subburb and I headed my own way to hang out with A. The fair was at his school that day, and there was all types of events.

I needed to pee, and when I finally came up to a stall, some huge 6'5 guy came up talking trash about me. I looked around cause I couldn't believe he was talking to me. He said some more junk to me, and once I finished up, and walked right over there, and punched him in the face. He shrugged it off, and tried to punch me. I blocked it, and punched him again, and again, and again, and again and again until the dream faded.

(Still been playing a lot of Modern Warfare 2, so I've been having quite a few dreams involving firefights, but my recall has been pretty shoddy and I haven't been remembering very much lately.)

      "Blades and Bullets"

This dream was like a massive round of Team Deathmatch, and it was absolute chaos. It was night out, and the match was soldiers vs. ninjas. Everywhere, people were just running around, taking each other out. The ninjas were using every nook and cranny that could, to launch surprise attacks, whenever possible. We were on some sort of compound, that really didn't have very many walls, but had lets of wooden beams and banisters. It kind of looked like it might have been a Japanese compound, but I can't be sure. The battle was just fast and intense, there wasn't much time to seek cover or anything, just run and gun, whether down on the ground or running over the conjoined rooftops of the compound. Sometimes, either time would get intel on enemy meetings, waiting for large numbers to show up in one place before launching an ambush and taking out as many people as possible.

The last thing I remember is a huge swinging log trap coming down at me. When I dove out of the way, it flew passed and smashed into the base of another enormous tree, causing it to topple over...right toward me. I got up and ran like hell just as the tree crashed to the ground.

      Fragment

Another Call of Duty type of dream. I was in the city street at night, fighting waves and waves and waves of opposing soldiers, which were coming in from all angles. It was a lot like the "Body Count" Spec Ops mission on Modern Warfare 2. I took a lot of bullets, and this dream was actually very painful (though I believe I was wearing armor, so I was able to keep fighting). I also had a partner in this dream (I had played this mission with Todd, recently.), but I'm not exactly sure who it was.

Darth Vader is quite literally on ice, lying frozen in the bathtub. All part of your regular Wednesday morning kidnapping attempt. The plan is to free Vader from the control of the Emporer, and to take our chances with a renegade Sith Lord. (Large-scale mayhem is the most likely outcome, but to Parker, that might just be the most interesting one.)

I'm stripping the Stormtrooper uniform off of some poor, dead bastard when a man in a black flight suit rounds the corner. He freezes for a moment, processing me, half dressed as a Stormtrooper and the body half undressed... I shoot him in the head with a blaster pistol.

"Everything okay in there, Nate?" says a voice crackling through the earpiece.

"Everything's fine, Eliot." I reply, putting a hand to my ear. I scowl at the second, inconvenient body for a moment before a new plan starts to form in my mind.

"Parker, are you in position?" I say, pulling on the gloves of my uniform.

"Nate?" says Sophie, concern in her transmitted voice, "What are you thinking?"

I smile as I slip the Stormtrooper helmet over my head. "We're going to steal a Death Star."

      01/09/11

I just found a Star Wars game for my phone. I decide to try it out, so I'm tilting it left and right, figuring out the controls. Spacebar is jump.

I'm in the game. My surroundings are a dank green, covered in vines and rot. This was a school once. I try out the jump command, disappointed when I realize I have only first-level force jump. It doesn't matter; I'll be able to get around just fine.

Obi-Wan's shade appears beside me to explain my mission. This is strange, because I'm pretty sure I'm a past version of him. The force ghost fizzles out and disappears, exploding into four green blobs of goo. They reform and immediately begin to scuttle about, taking shape as Gravelings, mischievous reptilian creatures that arrange the accidental deaths of the people around them.

I strike with my single lightsaber, v-stepping in and twisting away after I cut through the torso of one of the gravelings. The creature goes still in shock, before it disintegrates in a flash of red sparks. With a sweep of my lightsaber, the others are scuttling away. I finish them off with force lightening.

Later, alone in an empty room, I suddenly realize that I'm dreaming. It feels like waking up. I try to remember my goals, but I come up blank. Fine - I'll run. I love to run in dreams. I take a running start and leap from a four-foot ledge.

In one reality, I can feel myself flying.
I drift away, into the blue, blue sky, heedless of the ceiling that used to be there. Simultaneously I'm falling, landing. I can feel the remnants of the other reality until all four of my limbs slowly reach the floor. I lay my forehead onto the cold cement and just breathe.

I see Zoe, walking away into a crowd of faceless people. I call out to her, chase after her. Her blonde hair swishes as she half turns, keeps walking.

We're sitting side by side, looking at the massive crowd milling about through the mall. She's counting the cash in a till.

"There's something you want to tell me," she says, flipping through a pile of five dollar bills.

      "Yep."

She scowls, but doesn't turn to look at me. "Well?" she asks, "What is it?"

"You could say," I smile faintly, "That I have slightly more than platonic feelings for you."

      Her hands go still. "Oh."

"But that doesn't matter," I say, leaning back.

      "And why is that?"

"Because," I say, and I stretch my hands out in front of my face, "None of this is real."

And the dream dissolves into static.
