Too Dark

FA, in a strange room, Rc, by checking how light everything feels.The room is too dark I feel like I'm losing the dream. I find a spot on the floor lit by the window moonlight and place my hand there to incorperate more sense and maybe try time dilation. But before I do anything the dream fades. I feel my hand reaching out again before I lose the dream.


Flying

Not lucid but I was walking with a group of people when it's sunny outside. I proppeled myself in the air and started floating down the street instead of walking. was lucid briefly but forget what happens after.

Abstract

I was on a youtube channel about urban exploration. Found myself outside somewhere. I was opening a door into a tunnel for urban explorers to get through??? This dream makes no sense.

Imagery

Long dream about watching a movie about friends i had from highschool. It wasn't very interesting. Something about my friend making a video game map and naming islands after his friends. I had my name by an island.

Cannot remember much but I had 3 lucids and a false awakening, 1 was a DILD, and 2 were DEILDs

The false awakening occurred right after the last dream ended, and threw me into it. I instantly knew it was a dream but my mind kept forcing me to believe it wasn't. (couldn't do abilities)

I was able to go through walls, instantly change clothes with some minor difficulties and glitches, run fast, and spawn people correctly, however, I had to either find them or run into them. sadly I can only remember small snippets but I am still happy to have broken a dry spell.

-Spawned Tifa from final fantasy, looked for her and found her in the pub with her crew. Messed with them and went through a wall and came back to sit on one of them. She saw how fearless I was (I think she drew a picture of a d*** on the table jokingly) and decided to have sex with me. Used some mental technique to clear the pub of people while I was making out and doing the do.

-Another lucid of me spawning one of my favorite characters in a show and found her. She showed me her house and decided to just hang out with her family.

-Highway turned into a falling and collapsing bridge when dream was unstable. I was sliding down and saw FF characters. I grabbed a sword like weapon while hanging onto a railing and it transformed into said weapon. Was thinking of joining whatever battle was about to happen but woke up.

That's what I can remember so far. All the dreams started in my room, 2 of which ended up with me on the floor waking up. My mom was going to work, my dad was watching TV. and each of it was beginning just like that, and I will just go through windows to continue my fun. I guess I kept returning back to that same scenario unknowingly with DEILD. It was fun, I'm Happy. ADA has helped greatly when I decided to apply it yesterday, especially with how clear and almost life-like it was. It wasn't as clear as waking reality but it was damn near close.

Dream

After WBTB from 07:20--->08:49

I find myself in a Dutch style house on a cliff face overlooking the dark green choppy sea.
The weather is gloomy outside and several greyish black clouds lie overhead.
In the room with me is my cousin,Jared.
I sit reading an article in the local newspaper which reports on a visionary artist getting credit for her dance floor decorations at BOOM festival in Portugal.
The picture in the article has many blue-indigo/purple fractal psychedelic backdrops with omnipresent 3rd eyes decorating the the stretchy material that the artist painted on. She stands next to her work smiling proudly.
I recognize a beautiful tall blonde tribal looking girl in the photo standing next to her.(false memory)

"Hey Jared, isn't this Mandy in the photo here?"I ask,as he comes over to check.
"Yep that's her,she's living at my house right now with Kim in the extra bedroom!",he replies excitedly.
"Wow that's awesome, she's such a gorgeous tantric goddess" I say, surprised by his statement,and hiding my streak of envy.

We decide that we want to go for a walk, but can't seem to make up our minds where to.
I suggest we go up to the caves on the cliff face as they are't too far away.
I open the front door and notice the grey clouds have turned black. There's a slight drizzle and looks as though it may turn into a full blown thunderstorm any minute.

"Hey man,it's raining outside...we can't go!"I shout through the door as he is still inside.
"No way!"he bellows back at me.
I feel kind of relieved as i wasn't to keen on the hike anyway.

Upon entering the house I cast my gaze through the glass sliding room door at the back of the house and see something absolutely amazing.

"Look outside! Its some kind of super rainbow!",I exclaim.
We both both gaze with mouths agape in wonder at the mutant rainbow. It looked as though 5 rainbows where alchemically squashed into one.The color spectrum was abnormally pronounced.

And that's when it struck me...Am i dreaming?
For some reason I chose a unorthodox reality check, and one i never use, trying to reaching out and grab the rainbow like Mr Stretch. I was successful and my arm stretched out of the suede green button up jacket that I wore, toward the quintuple rainbow.

The rush of lucid hit me and everything seemed to be fading quickly.
I began to rub my hands frantically and shout "Clarity now",although no enhancement was evident.
I also noticed that I could barely feel my hands, and it was if they where dead.
As all began to fade to black i decided to go for my last resort.I remember reading somewhere that falling backward can transport you to a new dreamscape. I did so, and I immediately plunged into darkness.
It felt as if my astral body was slammed back into my real body and felt as though i was lying in bed.
I kept my eyes closed and soon came to the realization it could be a false awakening.And it was indeed.

I felt as though I was being dragged by my legs while lying on my back and sensed a presence in the room with me.
I kept my eyes shut, fearing I would wake up if I opened them,and maintained a calm awareness on the bodily sensations which now turned from dragging/pulling to a vibration with accompanied loud sound.
The sensations started to fade so i decided to slowly opened my eyes.
Then something weird happened.
It was as if i opened my eyes to a brand new dreamscape,but only caught a small glimpse of it.
I can barely recall what it looked like, just a quick flash.

Then another "set" of eyes opened and i found myself in my bed lying on my left hand side back in my bedroom in waking reality. (I think...forgot to perform another reality check haha )

(This may be a more boring entry, but maybe it gives some newbies an idea of some of the things you can run into)

6/12/14* wake up after about 5.5 hours of sleep needing to go to the bathroom and afterwards I do my SSILD cycles and I start to get HI's but fall asleep. Later I am having a dream where I am on the field after one of my games and the game after ours looks like a forfeit, perhaps not enough players. It seems like I'm very tired and I believe what happened is that I lay down on the field and went into an in-dream WILDing-like session where I immediately start getting strong HI's and vibrations which I start to play with including a woman on the field whose clothes I pull off with telekinesis and some motion based dream entry. I find myself in my bed (possible false awakening) but I can feel that I'm still fully in the dream world. I decide I should take off all my clothes and get into some mischievous activity. It feels like I am struggling with taking off my clothes and I start to worry a little bit about using my real waking life hands and possibly waking up or exposing myself
while sleeping. But I do get it together and take off my clothes and I'm hanging around the bed when I hear my wife coming up the stairs again and it reminds me of the false awakening last time and I remind myself "okay FA FA FA" (in other words don't get fooled by the false awakening-like scenario). My wife comes into the room and she's holding my laptop and it's on my email account and I get sidetracked from my lucidity for a moment concerned of what she might have read...perhaps some of my updates from dreamviews related to some of the crazy dream adventures I have which she may not like...But then I hear a song playing very clearly (later when I actually woke up I could hear music coming from my son's room but it wasn't where I could hear lyrics or anything whereas in the dream I was definitely hearing lyrics and a song that I seemed to recognize, all much more clearly than what I heard when I woke up). Anyway, I closed my laptop and looked out my window for the source of the sound and I could see some of my teammates outside getting ready for a game and my first thought was why am I not there, why are they playing without me but then I realize the scenario is highly unlikely, especially a game right outside my house...oh yeah this is still a dream this was a false awakening like scenario. I specifically remember "J" & "K" being out there and a little scene played where someone was asking J if he had ever been an ex-WAIF (unsure what this means) and a scene of J sitting at his current job with a desk full of papers. I think that I'm forgetting some details throughout this lengthy dream because I specifically remember thinking that this lucid dream is going fairly long. I find myself back in bed and I wonder if this is another false awakening but then I can feel my wife being amorous and I start to wake up for real. My lucidity level was obviously low throughout or I wouldn't have had such a hard time retaining it or remembering so much of it. Because of this I put the dream through Sageous' FLD test of proving lucidity to yourself and came up with the verdict that I was definitely lucid in spots. I tried to go back to sleep and got some HI's or dreamlets of Cameron Diaz leaning over showing off her cleavage (saw her in a movie last night). 160

I already got sleep, so I'm sure this is why this happen. I was reading bout ppl's LDs in bed than decided to sleep a little more without intentions of LDing or anything. I just had SP but like in the dreamworld I guess I'm in a room that looks like mines but not really but i'm stuck in the bed and all I can do is barely toss and turn while like breathing hard. Than I have a FA still in bed with SP I try to move but same barely can only move in bed and something is attacking me. I hear like a roar and it's attacking my thigh, it hurts. It ends and I have another FA/SP I guess, again in what looked like my room but not really but this time I see my covers are brown instead of blue and out the corner of my eye I see someone in a wedding dress which I guess was a mannequin because a mannequin hand slowly stretches towards me, which freaks me out a bit. I try moving but my body and limbs feel so heavy and it's very hard to move. That mannequin hand continues to stretch more and more but very slowly, I eventually managed to get out the bed but my eyes are still glued to that hand while I'm trying to put my feet in my addidas slides lol. Since my body is so heavy and I move slow, I give in by reaching for the mannequin's hand. I grab her hand, expecting to feel a plastic hand but instead I feel as if I'm clenching my covers. Now finally awake in my bed with my eyes close and that same hand I used is in fact clenching my covers lol. That felt so real!

F1) In a group of people their attention is focused on something, something was trying to get in between them from the steps above.

I get wild/wacky/random dreams a lot but this one takes the cake I think:

1) In a huge open field late at night, I'm standing under a tower, I'm concerned that if I climb it I'll be hit by lightning, I start climbing up its stairway, I get blown off the stairs by wind, I'm barely hanging on by one hand to the railing over the edge, I imagine if I fall someone will come across my dead body. I get back up and climb to the top, I step on a certain place and the entire tower collapses and falls to the ground, I'm falling with the tower, I'm trying to find temporary footholds to lessen my fall on the parts of the structure that are still together, there's a brief vision (1/2 a second) of Dwight Schrute from the Office's face looking up at me from below with a scared expression, shouting "NOOO!"
When I reach the ground I start running for my house. Still on giant wide open farmland. I have to reach my home before something reaches me. A voice says the mushroom bloodhounds are going to come from miles around. They're drawn to whatever happened. I'm running, I have a set of keys in my hand, there's a number written there, ("9988?"), I look around, during flashes of lightning I see that the entire horizon is filled with little creatures running towards me. The creatures are at my ankles, I reach a door with a number matching the key, I rush inside, some of these creatures (like cabbage-sized mushrooms with big bulging Mr. Potatohead huge bulging white eyes with big black pupils, the creatures are are squishy and juicy) are coming in through the door I try to pull the door closed, and get in through another door (the first door was to an internal porch).

There's a woman there who's coming to visit, she's the one bringing all these creatures. I tell her I don't want these things, she says they're a gift, I say I don't want them get them out of here (I don't like their juiciness), she says ok she's taking them back. I look at her and she's absolutely beautiful young woman, shining and beaming and smiling at me. Very bummed to have missed lucidity that moment, she was a right proper "dream girl."

2) in a group outside, a restaurant there's a big surprise coming. (famous actor?) coming up from behind he comes up behind the guy at the head fo the table and squeezes his shoulders, it's a big shock. There's a procession (DO), there's one very odd character / thing which has empty eye sockets the eyes are bobbing around outside of the face fo the thing, which is some kind of construct, built from wires/sticks. Its attention is moving around, kind of spooky.

F2) Getting in to some kind of office, a woman says: "Will it be Asian, or Asian delight?"

3) Wake up in my old bedroom in my parent's house, I'm in bed with my wife. Something's not right here, something about the sound (in WL there's a fan on in the room), I suspect a LD, nose pinch, I can breathe, YES, I am dreaming, this is a FA! I see a few things from my childhood room, it's dark, a Snoopy spelling trophy, went out into the hallway (always lit), down the stairs, as I pass the front door I think I should perhaps go outside and change to daytime. Instead I go into the living room, it's dark, just can barely see the outlines of the room, there is no furniture there! Did another nose pinch, I can breathe, my nose feels flimsy, like it's not even connected to my breathing apparatus. "OK," I think, "time to get down to business." I say "BE LIGHT!" to lighten the room. A weak light hovers around my face. I will it to be more light, and the room becomes about half-lit. I think nough of this 'no female entaglements stuff,' so I summon my first highschool girlfriend, I say, "K.S., BE *THERE*!" and point at the couch (which appeared at some point). And she is there! I move on the couch with her, straddling her, now the couch has reoriented so that it's back faces the room, and I can see the stairs. I think to myself, "this is a solid lucid dream, and it is going to last a long time" (WL intent). I felt like I could stay in for a long time. I initiate sex, the feeling is more like ND sex, kind of flimsy and things don't quite fit. My wife comes down stairs, I pull KS down lengthwise across the couch, kind of squishing her against the back of the couch, trying to hide her under me, cover her with a blanket. Wife comes right up to the back of the couch and looks down at me, "what are you doing here?" I say, "sleeping..." she moves away, back to the bottom of the stairs, then she turns towards me, and annoyed, says "I don't have time for this! I have to do (all kinds of things...)" I get mad, and command her to go upstairs: "BE UP THERE!" and I point upstairs, and ZOOM she disappears becomes a brown blur zipping up the stairs, like the cartoon character The Flash. I start kissing KS, but her face is dark, I say, "K, why can't I see you?", then she is lit well again. I see her, study her face, it's not a perfect version of K.S. but she is *totally realistic*, the color and pattern of her shirt, her hair, her face, all very life like. We kiss a few more times. I feel the beginnings of a climax, I will it to happen now, and I fade to awake in bed with a fast heartbeat. Try to DEILD back in but too awake.

I think this was my longest LD to date, 3-4 minutes. Lucidity about the same as my other LDs, not very high, but succesful summon and environment control (half lit room), and DC control.

Having no earplugs in may have helped: I think I noticed the difference in sound between the fan in my room in WL and in the dream room.

4) battle with a guy on a bed it has grates with water in them, he's trying to lure me close to the grates to that his weapons will work, I'm trying to get him close to the grates and squirt water down into the grate because that will cause his weapons to explode onto him. Water grenades of some sort with different effects. There is an explosion.

5) in an internal room, with lots of little sub-rooms off to the side with poles in them, it's like a porn store, there are little cone shaped (like trumpet mutes) devices which you're supposed to roll around with on the ground especially in a special powder which will greatly enhance the pleasure. I see big sweaty black guys pumping away with prostitutes in these little side rooms, really going at it, I think I don't want to go into these rooms, there's sweat and other stuff all over the floor and they're disgusting.

F3) MR, childhood friend. Something about owing him money or getting money from him

F4) Finding a teacher so that my kids will learn how to get into medical shcool.

6) (earlier awakening). In a room below ground level in a house (I think my old house in CP). I open up a ground level window, it's painted white, there's a wooden set of bars/lattice on the window, in the lower left hand corner there's a white/pink sponge jammed into the lattice, at first I think this is a motion detector but then I think it's to prevent the rats from coming in. Look past the right side of the lattice at ground level in the backyard, there's a small wooden grating just past the window, in between this grating and the lattice hidden in some plants is a rat's nest with 3 or so rats jumping around, a mama and some babies.

At the other end of the house. Standing right outside a window, looking down to the ground, there is a fairly large and deep hole that goes under the house, there is a family of ground owls (I see them, about 3) that live there. I'm showing this to a bunch of Chinese people. A teenage girl shrieks in fear at something up in a tree, I'm annoyed because it's just a white flower. There's an attractive woman and an annoying guy, the guy says "let's go off (somewhere),", I say "yeah, let's do that!" and he goes off and we ditch him, I"m pleased with myself. I take her hand and lead her behind me to show her the rats nest I found earlier. Her hand is a bit sweaty. The nest has been cleaned up it's not there any more. We're back in the room where I saw the nest to begin with, there's a big party going on, lots of tables are set all throughout the different rooms, all the tables have glasses of champagne and wine on them. I ask if she'd like a drink, she says yes, so I sit her down at a table and go off to find 2 fresh glasses of champagne. I find one but can't find another where the glass hasn't been used (I see lipstick markings), I'm walking all around to find a glass, I eventually enter a large area where a caterer is working preparing food, I ask the caterer for a clean glass, they say "no there are no clean glasses left." I think about getting a bowl and pouring a drink into the bowl, but I think "nooo, she doesn't want to drink from a bowl." I think about pouring a drink from one glass to another one, fooling her. I don't make it back to her.

One of my worst sleep nights ever, probably was awake at least half the time from 00:00 to 11:00, but I don't care since I had a fun LD (first FA!), and lots of interesting NDs.

10/27/13*+ 1145 505 WBTB SSILD. I am in my home office doing one of my typical functions closing out. The computer software is freezing up. I hear the sound aluminum blinds rustling and I realize I'm dreaming. Perhaps because I do not have blinds here. But I wake up. I deild I feel the vibrations and I see my ceiling up close this is the second or third time recently I have entered a dream this way. I look at patterns on the ceiling and realize that they are probably nothing like patterns of my actual ceiling and they start to form very consistent pattern. I think about how I want to proceed from here and I feel I'm back in bed and vibrations start up again this time decide picture a beautiful view of the ocean. I end up in the ocean start swimming putting both hands in front of me and paddling outwards to move forward. I remember suggestions to just keep going, moving forward, to stabilize a dream and I do this. I also think about rubbing my hands together but then I realize I start to sink and I resume swimming. I
remember my goal and I start to visualize an island after swimming what seemed like a decent while. A small island appears with a single palm tree and I crawl myself on the shore and the dream fades into a false awakening where I write down my previous dreams not wanting to forget but then I noticed that my son is here and and we dropped him off already IWL so I realize I'm dreaming again. I talked to him about dreaming and I say that we are dreaming right now and he says yeah I guess we are...or something like that. Then I tell my wife the same thing and say look we even have visitors sleeping over that we weren't expecting a lady over there and a baby. My wife says nah like she doesn't believe me that we're dreaming. I lean over lady I think she looks kind of like G's friend from last night. My elbow and forearm accidentally touches her down in her private area and I feel awkward wondering if I should pretend like I didn't notice... she looks at me
funny and seems to get upset this makes me lose my already dwindling lucidity it seems...thinking I am awake now I get & hide my DJ before wife starts tying it together with my mistake. The lady notices what I'm doing and says something about what I'm doing being wrong or something and she begins to prepare something with another lady. They put two dabs of something wet on the space between my foot and my shin but closer to the foot in the front of my lower leg or upper foot. I start to think this is weird and she has some occult website up on her laptop that she has and is following along like she's going to chant some spell and I start to say no no no you're not going to do this. She says it makes you feel good. I say yeah the evil can make you feel good but then you start doing things that you don't want to or should not do. Odd!!! This should have brought me back to lucidity. I guess I was so wrapped up in the attempt to make sure I stop them from proceeding. I wake up and write down
the dream for real this time. I can see in my dream journal this morning where as the first part was not obviously. My next dream there's an announcement for all police officers to stay clear of a particular intersection. I even remembered one of the streets maybe both of them but do not recall them at this time and I don't think they are street names that mean anything to me. It seems but that they are tracking someone near that intersection and they don't want any police presence to scare them off. I'm in a room and I hear a knock on the door, open the door or someone else opens the door and someone pops out from out of sight and it startles me and I wake up. It feels like I realized it was a dream right before I woke up but I'm not sure if it was as I was waking up so I'm definitely I'm not counting it. Fragment where someone says salad with spicy chicken chunks is the only choice to eat at this time. I wake up and write it down. I have a number of advanced
dreamlets with with short action and dialogue and I try to grab onto a few of them. When that doesn't work I just observe them as passively as I can. My last dream was not lucid unfortunately but I'm in line at McDonalds or a fast food place like it, and I see a little girl go behind the counter and grab a piece of food. I then notice that what appears to be her father is also behind the counter in plain clothes(not a uniform) and it seems like they're family of one of the workers. He is putting miscellaneous food items in his pocket to eat later I assume. I do wonder how cleanly that is and whether I should order food here. Then another girl probably another daughter is getting food as well and putting it in one of the containers they use sitting on the counter. I wake up and write down the dream. I close my eyes and see if I have any random odd thoughts or images come up indicating that I might still be able to dream but I think it is too late in the morning and I decide to get up.
