Three hours of sleep before work, immediately went back to sleep after work. I never plan to, it's just a bad habit and an unfortunate effect from being overworked. If all goes to plan, I'd have a month of 40 hours/week left, hopefully!

Also, I drank more apple juice, two bottles!

I dreamed that we had a school project about New York, and were paired up to do an assignment about New York in Utrecht. This girl was grinding her back against me the entire time the teacher explained the assignment while another teacher tried offering me Disneyland tickets which half of the class had except for me because I was broke. This girl I paired up with briefly looked like my colleague from my job, before looking like this girl from 4th grade that I was constantly beefing with (it was one-sided and I'm very embarrassed about how I behaved towards her) she randomly brought up that I should visit my dad with her and watch his surprise seeing me with her.

We briefly stop at a McDonalds with a terrace looking exactly like this open air club I was at the other day, because she wanted to return food she ordered or something. Meanwhile I'm taking a nap on the backseat of a car I borrowed, but didn't lock. I wake up and noticed that, although no damaged windows, the car was broken into and things beneath the chairs were taken.

I also notice that the car barely starts up and look for a gas station nearby, after my brain errors in my dream and refusing to let me look at my phone screen property with Google maps glitching and zooming in and out too extremely, I finally see a gas station nearby at the end of the park road I was parked in. However a conflict comes up which I have had multiple recurring dreams about: I am left alone with my parent's car at a random place and need to move it, but I don't have a driver's license as I don't know how to drive! I keep thinking about whether I should take the risk and just attempt to drive that last bit of the car and hope I don't get caught if I drive correctly.

I call my mom to explain the situation of me having to move the car. I leave the car behind on the park while another car in the background ironically gets towed, I go to my family home andy mom made a plan which includes a living Golden Retriever dog hidden in a statue made out of apples as a distraction decoy, while a fictional old antisocial neighbour I have gets in the car and drives it away. The neighbour dislikes going outside and this whole detailed plan was made for him to get into the car while avoiding any form of social interaction. My mom then tells me to bring a college essay, I quickly print one before leaving the house.

I for whatever reason had this small model of office buildings in my home office in my apartment where I kept my work supplies, which was a visual I briefly saw moments before realising I was dreaming and didn't have to go through with the extremely detailed plan.

      Dream was in Dutch.
    2. New dream about my grandads old Reliant

      by , 01-14-2020 at 02:44 AM
Last night I had a new dream that involved my grandads old 1983 Plymouth Reliant. This is the same car where all the dreams took place where I was riding in the middle of the front seat between my mom and my sister and my mom couldn't get the car to start.

I think this also took place in spring of 1994 when I was 15 and had my learners permit and the car was parked in our driveway.

In this dream, I decided I would go out and start the Reliant and drive it up and down my parents long driveway some to give the battery a charge.

I first went and grabbed the keys out of the drawer in the chest by our back door where my parents kept all of our keys. I then went outside and unlocked the drivers side door to the tan reliant and then sat down on the tan vinyl bench seat. When I put the key in the ignition, it made the same buzzing sound that I always hear in the recurring dream I keep having. I go ahead and close the drivers side door to make sure I do not have anything unnecessary draining batter power incase the batter has gotten weak. I then turn the key and the car starts right up without any trouble. I see all of the red lights on the dash illuminated and hear the buzzing sound. The lights quickly go out and the buzzing stops when I put on my seatbelt.

I then turn the radio to my favorite station, and then put the car in reverse and back it up until I am almost to the street at the end of our driveway. When I get to the end, I put it back in drive and drive it to the other end of the driveway near our house. For the next 15-20 minutes, I am driving the Reliant from one end of the driveway to the other while listening to the radio. I feel a certain sense of freedom know that in a few months I will have my drivers license and can drive myself where I want when I want.

I eventually park the car back by our house, turn it off, lock the door, and then go back into the house.

In this dream, I do not see anyone else unlike the other dream I keep having where my mom and sister are both in it.
    3. Party with my friend - fragment

      by , 10-27-2015 at 05:16 PM (Snehk's Dreamlands)
I was driving a car late in the night. I was driving to home, but I saw that my neighbors made a huge party. I stopped to check what was going on, and met with my friend. We talked for a while. Looking around I saw that all the people disappeared, so we talked some more.
    4. Zombie swarm, shack at an island

      by , 09-01-2015 at 03:06 PM (Snehk's Dreamlands)
I was in an office inside a skyscraper. It was on a really high floor. In my office, I had a desk, a wooden shelf loaded with books, two file cabinets and a flower pot with strange tall plant. Through a window, I could see people wandering the corridor.

Suddenly the skyscraper trembled and something on the corridor exploded. I quickly hidden behind a desk, just before glass shards flewn through my office. I heard screams - people were hurt, and some of the dead started to move.

When zombies started to run into my office, I decided to jump through the window - I was falling down at high velocity, with no chance to survive. Suddenly I found myself inside a car, and decided to drive through the city. For some reason I had problems with driving. After a while I left the car and entered a building - it was a school of hand-to-hand battle. After a while of talking, I went back to the city, found another car and drove away.

Finally I have reached my destination - a seaside cliffs. Watching the sundown, I moved closer to the edge, and jumped down into the water. Next I swam to a nearby island and entered a shack. I met a zombie there, this one was carrying a tower shield and a battle axe.

I took a stick lying on the ground, and avoiding the his hacks with battle axe, I beat him into a bloody pulp. I took his shield and the battle axe, and went outside. I saw a huge swarm of zombies, jumping down the cliff to reach me.

I went to driver training center, to start training for driver's license. I went inside a car, and started the engine. I drove slowly through the roads leading nowhere. I couldn't drive straight at first, but I managed to driver properly later on.
    6. Cold Funeral, Driving the Fury, and Throwing out a Toad

      by , 05-07-2014 at 11:07 AM
Morning of May 7, 2014. Wednesday.

Dream #: 17,306-02. Reading time (optimized): 2 min.

I was at a funeral at the La Crosse Civil War Memorial (Campbell Cemetery) in winter during blasts of wind and snow. Two others in black 1940s formal apparel are near me. (They may be older versions of Zsuzsanna and me.) We are standing on the wayside, opposite the railroad tracks, not the woods where the funeral was. (I do not think of the unlikelihood of public graves between trees.)

There are two cars parked along the road, the one that crashed in “Fear No Evil” (1969 TV movie) and my red 1922 Lincoln Phaeton (recurring dream car only).

The old couple faces the woods as the wind blows snow across their backs. They do not move even after being covered in a light layer of snow. Another man approaches from our right. He acknowledges me but ignores the other two. He wants me to drive him somewhere, but not in either of the vehicles present.

I become liminally aware I am dreaming without recall of what a dream is, only that my thoughts shape my world. I summon the red 1958 Plymouth Fury from “Christine” (1983 movie). The other man is happy with the car and our forthcoming road trip.

I drive fast (not recklessly) over backroads in hilly areas. The car ends up on the carport of the Cubitis house. (I would have had to drive from Wisconsin to Florida in less than fifteen minutes). I am parked facing the orange grove, perpendicular to the driveway (which would be problematic as it would block both entrances to the front of the house).

I am unsure where the man (preconscious simulacrum) is. I may have dropped him off somewhere. Looking down, I see a toad to the right of my right foot. It is about half the size of a cane toad. I pick it up and throw it out the window to my left. I consider that other toads may be in the car, but I do not worry about it and looking around, I see no evidence of others. At this point, my dream loses cohesion.

      Notes:

The toad in the car may have been an association with “Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride” from “The Wind in the Willows” (both the book and the Disney attractions). It is similar, in some illustrations, to the car from “Fear No Evil”.

My dream begins with the presence of sleep simulacrums (the old couple that becomes lightly covered with snow), the association with a cemetery as analogous to sleeping and being separated from waking life and my identity.

The unknown man is this dream’s vestibular system simulacrum (a personification of the preconscious) as we ride in the car, which is an imaginary extension of my physical body while in the dream state. His original approach from my right stems from the waking process as I sleep on my left side with my right more exposed to my environment.

A carport is a rendering of liminal space (the ambiguous awareness between dreaming and waking).
