    1. Blue Lion

      by , 04-01-2011 at 01:44 AM
Well it was a weird dream I had the other night. Not sure what kind of dream it was. And it was only a glimpse. It was a drawing of a lion's head with blue pen. The minute I woke up I quickly went to write it down in sloppy hand writing because I was still all sleepy and got up quickly that my room was spinning around me. Then I just began to draw the lion from what I remember and sure enough it was the lion I saw in my dream. So any comment on what this means?? Or just nothing to worry about??

    2. Lucid Dream #29

by , 03-29-2011 at 09:59 AM (Warbenifit156's Lucid Dreaming Adventures)
      Lucidity: 6/10
      Vividness: 7/10
      Length: ~5 min.

I woke up in a lucid dream car. Then I tried to fall asleep again, and I did. Then I was just walking around and just enjoying the feeling of the lucid dream. I did try to emagine Tania having sex with me a couple of times just because she's perfect!
    3. preparing for a zombie infested world

      by , 03-24-2011 at 06:38 PM
Me and kevin (brother) were over at almas (lady lives next door) after some type of zombie outbreak (only knew about it) and we had to scrounge for parts before it made it's way to where we were, the place looked weird. the ceiling was really high and shiny un-dyed wood, but for the most part everything was in the right place, I went through some drawers and found some matches and a variety of hand-held tools we talked about spending the night and I think we agreed that we would and we also said that we would destroy the place or do something to disable it so no one would inhabit the place. ( I have no idea why ) just bits and pieces from here but I remember seeing something like the front porch roof had fallen down or been destroyed and kevin did it from the roof... not sure exactly, but that's pretty much it.

    4. 2 Demons

      by , 03-21-2011 at 09:57 PM
So I woke up from my afternoon nap and... this is what I remember from my dream.
I was in a room with some people 2 of them I had my attention on (these 2 were evil) , everyone else I couldn't really see their faces..
I just knew there were lots of people around... One of the characters in my dream his face took shape of a demon ,
His face floated in fire and then got a bunch of holes in it, his eyes were hollow and black... his smile was really sinister..
For some reason I felt attraction to this "creature" and I got close to him trying to touch him...
This other Demon got angry at me , I got really scared by his presence... his energy alone was very powerful.
I looked at him a Demon dressed in black robes... He was very tall, veryyyyyyy huge... kind of like a juggernaut.
He was upset with me for paying attention to his minion who I was trying to show compassion to...
He thought I was trying to change him from evil to good, which made him want to punish me for that.
I remember him shoving me into a pool in the shape of a square that was filled with lard, I was isolated in the corner of this pool...
I started freaking out, but I don't remember ever crying....
All of a sudden I'm back with this minion , talking to him asking him, "Why?" But it's like we were having a conversation
with out moving our mouths... telepathically. I don't remember his response to the question, I think my dream ended or I just don't recall the rest...,
I then...woke up (in real life)
      That's all I remember.

    5. Outlaw!

      by , 03-19-2011 at 04:44 AM
So, it's been a while since I've bothered to post on here. I just don't have that many interesting dreams.

OUTLAW! - Me and a small band of friends were apparently fugitives, wanted for possibly robbing a bank. I wasn't quite sure. Anywho, we were being chased by another band friends, who were the cops. Me and my gang ended up hiding out in my shed, which was completely revamped, larger, clean, and stockpiled with weapons. Suddenly the cops found us, and were trying to coax us out of the shed. All of a sudden, the background changed and we were in what seemed like the 1880's, with cowboy hats. The cops now had simple one shot rifles, but we had modern technology! After talking with them, I got sick of it and grabbed several hack saws and an RPG. My gang threw open the doors of the shed and I aimed and fired - Striking the center of the group. As the explosion boomed, we bolted out of there and down the street - After grabbing a few hacksaws and what I think was a box of grenades.

We decided we would leave by train, and hopped on. We thought we were safe, but the viewpoint shifted and I saw the cops, banged and bruised but still alive, on the train cart behind us, trying to follow us.

    6. Early Childhood Dreams(1-8yrs)/Reoccurring Dream Fragments

      by , 03-13-2011 at 04:32 AM
*These will be grouped together, as I do not wish to flood and update them separately, and as several of them are fragments.

      Age 5, August:

I was in the apartment I shared with my elder sister(whom adopted me after our mothers death and my fathers abandonment). I knew it was late at night, and dark outside, but someone had covered our window with a childs drawing of a bright, sunny day. My dream self knew that the picture was fake, but my sister (I will refer to her as mom from here on out, as thats what I call her) did not seem to realize the picture was false, and continuously insisted that I go outside and play. She became so insistent that my dream-child-self could no longer resist, and so, full of suspicion, I left the house. Upon seeing that it was indeed dark and late, I turned to bang on the door, but she did not answer. I desperately looked through the window, my terror mounting, and saw that she was sitting and watching TV. I screamed, called out to her, and pounded on the door, but she could not hear me. In real life, she would have been able to hear me, and the fact that she couldn't scared me even more. I began to wander around. I was in the alley-way between apartment complexes, and the night was unnaturally dark; I could see the buildings clearly, but it was as though someone had colored all else with charcoal. I began to wander towards the main street, and as I did so, yellow eyes came towards me from the darkness, and I felt the panther pass me. I knew it was a panther because they're black, and all I could see were the eyes, so obviously it was blending in to the night.
I finally came upon the street, where one yellow street light illuminated the dumpster and a row of parked cars. By the dumpster was a zombie and a robot (at that age, I had no idea what a zombie or robot was. I wasn't allowed to watch anything beyond G, my TV was moderated, and the only thing the computer was good for was MS Paint. I went to a nice little all-white preppy-school, and I was actually the MOST cultured of my classmates, who were stupid enough not to know what the Fox and the Hound was. I recognize the monsters as a zombie and robot, NOW, but I am at a loss for how I knew what they might look like, THEN). I was terrified of the zombie and robot, even though I had a sense that they were not threatening. Called to my terror, a witch came down from the sky on her broom and swooped me away to her home, where she puttered about in the kitchen while I sat uncomfortably in the dining room. She continued to say how grateful I should be for her rescuing me, and how lucky I was, but I was quite uneasy. When she finished in the kitchen she brought out a sheet of cookies, and I KNEW that they were blood-cookies, and that she was evil and the zombie and robot actually good. I stole her broom and ran outside as she followed, screeching, and jumped off the cliff, managing to make the broom work inches before I hit the ground.
I came home, and finally found my way in, only to see my mom on her exercise bike. I tried to tell her what had happened to me, but she again couldn't hear me. As I began to scream at her, a T-Rex burst through the window. My mom didn't notice it, and then it roared and I woke up--somehow sensing that the roar was a sound both in real life and the dream. Turns out my mom was snoring REALLY loudly on the couch.

      Age 8, December:
I was at the YMCA, my daycare, late at night. Everyone else was there as well, but it was far past the time when the daycare closed. My friend Chrystal was showing me her haircut (In fact, two days after this dream, Chrystal got a haircut and I had deja vu when she showed it to me) at one of those fold-down white tables with the long, attached benches. She had cut her hair VERY short. I was admiring it when I great bright light illuminated the windows behind Chrystal, and her and I jumped under the table, knowing it was aliens. (Yes, by this age I knew what those were, although the only form they ever took in my imagination was green, pointy chin, big head, and big black eyes. No antenna though) The aliens were soon chasing us through a LARGE McDonalds play-place suddenly inside the YMCA gym, only it was larger than the gym, and it was terrifying. Then at one point the aliens chasing us turned into Jesus, and I thought 'oh, he's supposed to be cool, we should go to him', before I thought 'it's a trick!' and continued to run away. Chrystal ran to Jesus for help, and he turned back into the alien and ate her, whereas I had continued running, and made it to a safe point. (ALSO, I wasn't allowed to have or play or watch people play video games until I was 13. And, while my larger family identified as Christian, my mom never forced any kind of religion on me, or had any views on the subject, herself, so Jesus was kinda a vague concept I was rather suspicious of) So basically, this dream baffles me by basic rights of 'where the hell did I get this'.

Unknown Ages, Reoccurring: I continuously had dreams where I KNEW that, if I ran fast enough, I would run right off the ground and into the air, and be able to fly. I would have to keep my legs running, in order to keep myself up, but I could do it, and I did do it, quite frequently. The only other flying dreams I had besides these were back before I was 7, I would be able to sit on my blankey and it could fly me around.

Note: I have nightmares very infrequently, and after having two in a row when I was 7, I taught myself how to go back and 'erase' them, by imagining that my dreams were in a file-system in a computer, and that if I took the nightmares and 'deleted' them, they would no longer bother me. To this day, I still use this system in order to 'delete' nightmares immediately after I have them, so that while I can remember the nightmare, I don't remember the fear or pain, and can thus go immediately back to sleep, and not have the nightmare reoccur.
    7. Story of Apheri and Path to Understanding

by , 03-07-2011 at 04:30 PM (Nocturn Core (Abridged))
I was told to record this as I would any typical dream, so I will – but I must note that it took place on the boundary between falling asleep and standard “dreams,” so I’m not sure exactly when I fell asleep during this or if I did at all. Rather than making a judgment, I’ll just categorize it as a threshold experience for the time being.

As I went to sleep, I spoke telepathically to the dream itself – the core from which dreams arise – and asked it to help me better understand myself and my intentions. The dream replied; it said that it would show me again as it had the night before, but I would probably forget. It implied that we had this conversation several times in the past, and I always forgot it. That’s a little embarrassing given how well my dream recall usually works, but I confessed that I rarely remembered much of the threshold experience. Even now, I’m sure I forgot some of it, but I remember the parts that were emphasized (I think). Before continuing, the voice explained that I would learn much of what I wished to discover through dreams. I felt that this would begin immediately.

The speaking dream showed me various scenes of shadowy versions of myself holding swords. Like mine, the voice explained, these were false swords. None of us could understand Apheri because none of us had truly attempted to. I tried to draw Apheri to get a close look at her, but the hilt came up by itself. What the…? I asked why, and the voice said I wasn’t fit to hold her. I had ignored Tegatus and Phaedra’s request, it said, by treating Apheri like a normal sword. It took me back to the room in which I defeated Lusark Decidies recently in another dream. I saw my body move on its own, cutting through zombie-like people with brightly colored hair. It seemed only natural to me that I was using Apheri in this dream.

“Are you cutting with Apheri?” the voice asked, getting right to the heart of my thoughts. I replied with a general feeling of agreement. I was using the sword I always carried, wasn’t it? What else could it be? “You miss the point. Any sword can cut. In this world, you can also cut. These are empty cuts. When Apheri cuts, she understands. She feels the cut and acknowledges it. You just cut for the sake of cutting.” These words, if you’ll pardon the pun, cut me to the core – at least, what I perceived as me. I was beginning to sense that “me” was just another version of something more important… I tried drawing Apheri again. The scene became a cavern with sinewy bones in the walls. I pulled up the bladeless hilt again. Cripes.

“What do I have to do?” I asked.

“Understand her. First of all, she is not just a sword. Would you like to hear Apheri’s story?” The voice repeated its question when I didn’t answer right away. I thought I knew the story. She was created by Tegatus, wasn’t she? I agreed to hear it and was whisked away to a small planet. “Small enough that a thousand people would exhaust its resources,” the voice observed, commenting on my thoughts. The vegetation was lush, the oceans were an unmarred blue, and the night sky was alive with starlight. I saw Apheri floating in the air above a hill nearby. I tried to run to her, but a hand stopped me. When I looked at the man guiding me, I saw that he glowed intensely. I couldn’t discern what he looked like, but it wasn’t important. I watched Apheri as he told me of her talent at channeling the life energy of everything around her – not stealing it, but thriving on it. She began to spin, and then she glowed with the same white light as my storyteller’s dream body. She transformed into a long, black staff. I’ll just draw it and put a picture in… Basically, the Golden Hexagram is circumscribed within a circle at the top of the staff, and there are two handles jutting out below the base of the circle for a handhold. The bottom portion removes to reveal the blade. When I say long, I mean it – this blade was much longer than I ever imagined Apheri could be, and yet, I could sense that this form was more familiar. This was my Apheri! And yet, the voice laughed and called me a fool for going so long without realizing I knew nothing about her. I would forget again anyway, it laughed. Embarrassed again, I resolutely announced that I would not forget!

“You said that last night,” it said. I felt a little less confident, but I refocused my attention and listened. Apheri was always intended to be the life-bringer’s sword, the voice told me. I was justly accused of forgetting the deep meaning of my own name and the language from which it comes. A bunch of symbols appeared in the air as the scene faded to darkness. They were like Daedric letters, but different… I recognized them faintly. The voice told me I would have to obtain Apheri both in dreams and waking. I might have to craft her myself, the voice said. Obviously, I doubted my ability to do so – I’m an electrical engineering student, not a blacksmith. It suggested that I make arrangements with someone more talented. I wouldn’t regret the cost, it promised. Linking the two realities was extremely important. I thought of something Reece Jones said in a video a while ago about a similar concept. Then, too, I knew I had to find Apheri, but I didn’t pursue it very far. My eyes began to tear up as I wrote this in my pencil and paper dream journal. What I feel when I picture my sword now is incredible. I can’t imagine using such a long sword… How would I even hold that if not for dream physics? The voice spoke again, warning me to focus. I felt Nicole stir in bed beside me, and I woke up most of the way. The voice urged me to focus again as I closed my eyes. Sadly, I don’t remember anything after that.
    8. My first lucid dream.

      by , 02-26-2011 at 05:30 PM
So I've been trying to lucid dream ever since I saw the movie inception, which was about a month ago. I'm too lazy to write in a dream journal everyday so I just thought about my dreams after I woke up, and later I drew an A on my hand which stood for awake.
Two weeks later I was having a dream that was particularly unrealistic and I was falling off of a cliff. I realized that I was dreaming and before I hit the ground I woke up. That motivated me even more to start thinking about lucid dreaming right before I went to bed. So last night I went to bed thinking about being lucid dreaming. In my dream which was very vivid I was in a bright red room with some of my friends. I was talking with a friend saying that we should hang out again when I realized that I was dreaming. I was so stoked that I started jumping up and down exclaiming 'I'm lucid, I'm lucid!". My friends didn't know what I was talking about so I demonstrated that walk around freely. They were still skeptical, but I was too excited to care. I immediately flew right through the ceiling and the roof by doing an upward breastroke sort of thing. I looked down and continued to fly, I was very high up and thats when I think the adrenaline woke me up.

    9. First Lucid Dream

      by , 02-11-2011 at 03:15 AM
This was the first lucid dream I've ever had:

So I was in another dream, and I awoke into my bed and remembered to think "next time I'm dreaming, I'll realize I'm dreaming." Then I was floating in pure whiteness and said that thought out loud to myself. Instantly upon doing so I was hit with a full body rush similar to intense shivers and tingling throughout all my extremities and I burst through the clouds and began my descent down towards the ground, fully lucid. Not having any previous flying experience I decided to experiment how exactly flying is done. I would describe the sensation to swimming, where treading with your arms will direct you in the path you want to go. This was the happiest I have ever been as i felt the wind whipping through my hair and could see the ground rushing underneath me.

Then I saw a large pack of wild animals, some wolfs, deer, moose, and others all charging in a heard below me. I stuck both hand out in front of my face and directed the momentum and path of the herd to my exact liking and laughed out loud while doing so (I've never felt so empowered and free in my life). I continued to fly after the herd had disappeared out of sight and flew up just about a tree line. There I saw a random telephone pole and perched right on top, out of breath. I remember thinking to myself, "gee, I've never free fallen before.." and then I put my arms straight out to the side and fell backwards off the telephone pole all the way down to my bed where I awoke THRILLED at what I had just achieved. I would classify this as a life changing dream/event.

    10. Almost Had It....

      by , 02-09-2011 at 01:32 AM
I went to bed early the other night. I was trying to do the technique where you lie still and trick your mind that you're asleep. I began to hear deep noises, like bass drums, and saw flashing lights on my eyelids. I got excited and my eyes began to open. I tried calming down, but it was like my breath was coming faster. It scared me a little, but I eventually saw Ronald Reagan telling me to "Tear down that wall!" It was OK, but then I woke up. Tried again, but failed. I nearly was in the dream. Almost....

    11. Dream on a bus (another horrible husband dream)

      by , 02-06-2011 at 03:44 AM
I dreamt I was on a bus with my husband. Everytime I dream of that man, he's mean to me. In real life he is not. I sat on a bus with no shoes, no phone, no money, and no idea of where we were going. I was totally confused and out of my element. Suddenly, he decided to get off the bus for just a moment. Well, of course, he was gone for the rest of the trip. I was terribly upset and worried. I had no idea of how I was going to get home or back to him.

Later, in the end, I met up with him after a whole bunch of emotional stuff happened on the bus. He kept walking too fast for me, leaving me behind. I suddenly realized in the dream that he was doing it on purpose to lose me. I realized that he left me on the bus on purpose.

Oddly, he is a faithful guy who I have been with for 15 years. He is totally opposite of this person he looks like in the dream. It is so weird how I am always getting my "Horrible husband" dreams. I will continue to post them as they come. There are so many details but if I write them all, I will bore anyone who is reading this. LOL
    12. "WTF" January 28th, 2011

      by , 01-31-2011 at 11:04 PM
Last night I dreamt that my aunt and grandmother were sick. They both had to go to the hospital so MCR and some other band came to my house and played at a party. My house was huge. Completely different from the house I currently live in. Obviously, I had a lot of money in this dream.

Later, I had a dream that I was driving or riding something down the street. I cannot recall what it was because it was something that my mind made up. It looked like a big twinkie, honestly. I cam across some guy who told me this youth group was meeting at this building. (Which is weird because I am atheist) I went there and saw who I think was Katherine ( One of my random friends ). Later we were driving and Will my other friend was on his scooter the whole time behind me. Lucia ( my gf ) was also in a car but she was very young ( maybe freshman or highschool ). Later we were on the interstate and a burning semi-truck was about to lose control and explode.

      Weird dreams
      Non-Lucid..

      Still working on lucidity
      And advice helps
    13. Odd dream leaves horrible sensations

      by , 01-31-2011 at 09:01 AM
I had a terrible dream. The gist of it, last night, was that I had the illusion of being incredibly tall and yet no one else could see that I was tall. In the entire dream, I was unable to walk properly, things were so unbalanced, and I could barely even sit in a chair. It got progressively worse toward the end of my dream where I started falling on the floor and could not seem to stand. My balance was so terrible and it felt like I was almost coming out of my skin.

Then, my husband woke me in real life. I got out of bed feeling terribly weak and unable to think straight. I felt like my body wasn't proportioned correctly. The rest of the day, until I took a nap, I was completely miserable and uncomfortable. It is hard to explain but it was as if my body was a suit and I had it on wrong. Gosh! That sounds weird, I know. It was such a weird day.
    14. Dream of starving creatures

      by , 01-30-2011 at 02:32 AM
I was in a large open place, indoors but very big. It had people there and on one side as I walked, there were small creatures, starving. I didn't recognize most of them as children. They looked like animals around the size of dogs or cats, some were bigger, some smaller. They were all suffering. They were dying. Somehow, they were starving and could no longer move because of weakness, just on the edge of death. I kept wondering, "Can I help them in time?" In my hand I carried a bit of food, just a bit. It was some sort of meat. I begin to tear it into pieces. I came to the first creature and gave it a piece. It got stronger. I kept going to each creature in turn. They were stronger and begin to leave. Then, I got to the last 3 creatures. I recognized them. They were human babies. They could not eat meat. I knew this. I could only take one under my arm and had to leave. I found myself wondering about this large place. I think I was lost. Suddenly, I realized I had lost the infant. It had slipped away. I was frantic, retracing my steps. That ended the dream.
    15. Nonlucid dream about a giant cat

      by , 01-27-2011 at 09:05 AM
Last night, I was dreaming about seeing a cat. It was a very large cat, pretty colors, kinda like caramel, white, and almost strawberry colors. It was left out from someone's home who no longer wanted the cat. I felt sorry for it and layed next to it. I realized that this was a mama cat and she had milk. I wondered where the kittens were or whether they were dead. I took the cat into my house alone with my 3 cats that lived with me. (In reality, I have only 1 cat). I bathed the giant cat, soaped her up, rinsed her, gave her food, led her to the litter box which was terribly tiny for a creature as large as she. She was a very gentle and relaxed cat who did not want to leave my side.

Anyway, I also dreamed that I was trying to have a lucid dream. This wasn't a lucid dream but I wanted to have a lucid dream in the dream. Well, I must be closer.
