    1. HTML v1.0 and more Philippines.

      I had a nice dream last night involving TW and computers, lol. I'm not sure exactly what we were doing, but I was asleeep in bed and TW came into the room and he was like "hey I've figured out why it's not working! The guy that I am living with in student housing showed me. And it was something to do with the fact that it was html v1.0".
      He was trying to show me where "html v1.0" was written on a pencil, which was connected to a firelighter through a keychain. I was barely awake and was at that stage when I couldn't really focus on anything, and he was trying to show me the text which was really small so I was like "okay, wait a sec, my eyes are still adjusting to the light and I can't focus properly".
      I was also thinking "WTH this is kind of a cool surprise visit but this is kinda funny that he is showing me this at this time. Surely he'd show me once I've already woken up?" But I wasn't annoyed or anything, just slightly amused.

      There was more to the computery side of things than this. I have a feeling that it involved being connected to Pallkars using SSH, and stuff like that haha.

      Then there was another bit relevant to the fact that TW had lighters on his keychain; mum was asking for my advice about lighters because we were in Philippines, and asked if the one she was getting was expensive. It was $20.50, I think, and I was like "hell yeah that's really expensive!". She was like "oh, okay" lol.

      And thern there was another part where I was in the Philippines with Shaun and it was early morning, around 7.30 so I took the train to this random place and stayed there because it was slightly exciting. It was also raining pretty hard, and I had my umbrealla.

      I missed the first train there, and the people watching me as I missed it were like "oh.." and had that expression of half-sympathy half-amusement on their face as you do when someone JUST missses a train. One of them was an indian woman in traditional dress.

      The destination was at the top of a hill or something. I think it was some sort of campus and there was lots of student housing there. It may have led to the place where I was sleeping when TW came and saw me.

      (funny. Before, I have never had any dream in which I used a computer. At least none that I can recall. I always thought that is weird because I use the computer a lot. Now this is the second computer dream in two days.)

      I was using my computer somewhere where there was other persons as well. I had just succeeded in setting up the irc client so that I could have it as an overlay on top of a game that I was playing. Chatting + gaming at the same time, yay!

      Someone in the irc said that it was something strange going on with the server. That someone might be cracking it. He saw it by looking at an amount of /whois commands that someone had made on the server. I can't remember his nick (the guy who told me this) but I remember that it was a new one and I said to him that I had forgotten who he was. He seemed to think that was fun and said something I don't remember. Somehow I figured it was Viktor and he was there irl. I was taking a look at his old computer, trying to fix it. I fiddled with it quite violently and accidentally broke his gfx card. I apologised and he said it was all right.

    3. Very vague computer fragments

      Suddenly I remember that I had another dream this night as well. I only recall that it was something about me sitting at the computer. I am writing it down now because before I have thought that it is kinda weird that I have never dreamed about sitting at the computer before (afaik). It is weird because I spend a lot of time at the computer irl.

    4. Command Prompt.

      As soon as I woke up I grabbed my laptop, hoping to record everything I could remember from my dream. Unfortunately I couldn't remember much at all

      There was a part with some girl in some room. Hmm.

      And then I was with a group of people. I cannot remember what happened.

      Something happened to my command prompt and then TW sent me this piece of code (actually, three different versions of it that I could choose from) and was like "I fixed it up for you, I just put this piece of code in". Before I could ask him how one would go about doing that, I woke up. But I recall that it was something to do with the system32 folder. Lol.

    5. dreams from the other night.

      I remember walking around in a place where there were dead musicians. vivaldi was there. I remember seeing johnny cash as well. he was wearing blue jeans with a red rose woven into the side leg.



      Random

      In this dream I was walking around my house. I kept coming to a piano and wanting to play a chopin tune... i think the one in my head was a c minor nocturne.



      I kept walking around and Asuka was behind me. She kept pointing me to video cassettes of star trek DS9. i kept saying "no, I don't have a VCR just a DVD player"

      * I have "job" written down but I don't remember the dream.

      Computer

      I followed Asuka into a basement room. There was a computer there with an old monitor jacket covering on it. Asuka went and lied down on the bed... she was smiling. I asked her if I could use the computer. I remember pulling the cover off but I don't remember anything after that.

      Crickets documentary

      someone says I have to watch a documentary about crickets. They put on a DVD and I begin watching it. It's two old people sitting in a living room. I find myself in the room with me. They give me a glass of milk or something. I pill it all over their carpet. Then the old man does the same thing. he then pulls the chair back to get at the stain at the carpet. I forget what happened after.
    6. First Lucid of the Journal and a Fragment

      1. I'm walking on the halls of the research station, and I see V coming back from a lover's tryst. As she climbs the stairs, her low-cut shirt reveals her cleavage, and I am overcome with jealousy. I then catch a glimpse of MB, living in a different room, and my vision zooms in on her computer, where she's texting a new interest.

      2. V and I are playing D&D on the overpass of a local highway. Each of us pulls out a D20 and rolls, heedless of the cars streaking past us. I'm low to the ground, and as the dice stops, I notice the cursive 11 on its side slowly morphing into a 7. I PASS this reality check, and realizing I'm lucid, I manage to resolve the scene around me into waking-like focus and feeling. The pavement feels grainy and coarse, the sun is mildly hot, and I feel in perfect control of my arms and legs. Suddenly, she tells me to run for a football pass, and as she does I feel the ground beneath my legs and run. I feel the impact of the ball in my hands, and somewhat inspired by this, I do the turn-summon to place her in a cheerleader's outfit. It's blue and gold (colors with no particular importance) and very revealing. Confidently I stride up to her, and we engage in a passionate kiss. It feels just like waking life but when I try to turn things towards actual intercourse, I lose lucidity and fall out of the dream.
    7. Barnes and Noble

      I was going to Barnes and Noble with my friend for school.

      "I used to go a Roman Catholic church, but now I go to a Christian church," she said.

      "Ok," I said. "So what church do you go to?"

      "St. Joe's," she replied. She then handed me something. It was a piece of platic grid about the size of the palm of my hand, with fake flowers woven into it. On one of the bottom corners, there was a small balloon, about a quarter of the size of the grid, maybe larger. It was a happy face balloon.

      "Remember when you made this at my party last year?" she asked.

      I didn't remember, but I thought it was cool. "Oh yeah." I pretended I did. "Thanks."

      We walked over to a long table amid the large bookcases. There were several laptop computers on it, and we both sat down and got to work. After awhile, I wandered off to the end of the table, where there was a turning rack filled with various things. There were a couple of strange looking notebooks, labeled "miniature notebooks". It was a square with about two inch sides. The covers of the notebook were wooden, and you pulled them apart pulling one up and the other down. The paper in the middle opened like a post-it stack. I checked the price. It was five dollars. I thought that was a bit too expensive, so I set it back down. My eye caught something else, though. It was a balloon on a stick.

      It was small, the stick being maybe eight inches tall. The balloon was very tiny, smaller than a baseball. It was a yellow happy face. I immediately wanted this, but the price was $9.08. I thought that was way too expensive, so I set it down sadly and went to look at some books.

      I saw a search computer that you could use to find books in the store. I searched first for a book on lucid dreaming but I found it had bad reviews, so I searched for another book on it. This one looked good, so I went and found it. It seemed way too short, though, and not something I wanted to buy, so I put it back. Then I remembered that I had wanted to read Ender's Game. I searched for it and didn't find anything. I saw this guy I know also looking at books, and then I went back to the table.

      By this time, other people were there, and I had to squeeze in. The computer that I had been looking at before had been closed, and the top of it looked like a Nintendo DS. I thought this was a bit strange - why would there be a large DS on the table? But then somebody flipped it open and I saw that it was a computer.

      A few of the people at the table and I went back to my house, because I was going to have a party. I grabbed my sweatshirt.

      My other friend, Michelle, came up to me. "Only you would wear that sweater," she said.

      I thought about it. Maybe I shouldn't wear my sweater after all. I set it back down and went home. We went up to my room where this other girl, Jessica, and I sat down. She put down her bag, and I put down mine. I was a bit jealous of her bag, because it was prettier.

      Several other things happened, and I'm not sure what they all are.

      However, after that I was sitting down, thinking that my party that was supposed to be so fun was a complete failure. I was upset, and then I woke up.
    8. Futuristic Gaming

      I'm waiting for my brother to pick me up at home and take me to the mall. He's running late, so I go downstairs and fire up my computer. It has a projected user interface, as in Jarvis from the Iron Man movie, and a very large high-def monitor. I start to browse Wikipedia (text, so failed RC), looking up Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and from there link to an obscure Japanese game that takes place in the Kingdom Hearts universe. It download it and proceed to play.
      The only relationship to Kingdom Hearts is the use of the Gummi Ship. This vehicle is presented in top-down perspective, scrolling in a traditional manner as in Galaga or Galaxian. The enemies follow colored tracks along with a soundtrack, as in Audiosurf, and special flight maneuvers are also order with the music as in DJ Hero. The interface is intuitive and the gameplay frantic enough to keep me engaged for several rounds, and I start to reconsider going to the mall at all.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

      I had a DEILD where I was on my computer on my bed, and was intently watching gold-coloured dust of some magical origin swirling around my laptop screen. I was concerned about not being completely "in" the dream, even though I was indeed lucid, which led me to choose not to attempt the Task of the Year like I'd wanted to. Thus, my time in the dream was spent doing nothing more than watching that gold dust floating about before the dream faded.

    10. Five dreams.

      Wow I had a dream about the World Cup instead of watching it.
      It was hilarious though, I tuned in at around the 60 minute mark and Australia was winning 2-0. I was pretty happy. And then Cahill got up there and scored another. And then almost scored another. But we won, lol.
      Whatever hours later, I wake up and we've lost 4-0 to Germany xD

      I also dreamed that I'd dreamed that my brother did something funny. Oh yes, something to do with categorising, he did quite terribly. There were two words with two parts. But he did not split the words correctly.
      Well I told him about this as he'd gotten back from Outward Bound, surprisingly, as it finishes next Friday
      We were at some shop getting something and there was a concert on and then Lisa Mitchell came on and played her songs (it is very surprising how clearly music plays in dreams). My brother went and looked and he said he'd never seen her before and I told him who it was and how some people don't really like her voice but I think it's nice. And we said how she looked a lot like x (don't remember who), but then we decided that she looked more like a girl from The Veronicas.

      I was with mum and we went to some wedding. Maybe it was in Philippines. I was taking a couuple of photos from the back, and asked her if I could go and grab my camera from ther other place (can't remember where) and get right in/up there to take photos. She thought that this was a ridiculous idea, like why the hell would anyone do that? And the camera isn't even built for that (or something). I told her that is what I did at AK's wedding shoot. The idea was turned down a second time.
      Funnily enough, it was just a compact digital camera. Also, I peeled some sticker off it and it said it ran on Windows 7 (or Vista!?) 64-bit. And either it also said on the camera, or someone was there that said it, that it couldn't be trusted because of it xD

      TW was there chatting to me over msn and telling me about programming and stuff. There was a guy that e-mailed me asking for something, I cannot remember what, but TW looked him up and said "Well his background is in computing, so -somethingIcan'tremember-". It was as opposed to biology though, as if he'd learnt computing before biology.

      There was some nursery rhyme thing for children in English about counting and there was a Swedish version too so I went and did that and I didn't even get all the numbers right

    11. Drugs and a Movie

      My parents. I tend to have dreams where I'm at their houses, or when I'm at one we used to live in. This was the situation in this dream; my dad used to live in an apartment.

      The apartment had all beige walls. When you walked in, you'd be in a little area where you could take your shoes off and put them in a closet with wooden sliding doors, which was right in front of you. You turn to the right, and there's an ottoman. Keep going, two or three feet, and there's the open space of the living room, the dining room, and the study area. The dining room comes first; it's a basic round maple wood table with four chairs spaced evenly around it. Behind that, there's the study, with an L-shaped desk. Then, turn to the left, and there's a little 'movie area', with a flat screen TV and two couches. One is at a 90 degree angle to the TV, while the other one is directly in front. The couches are dark brown leather.

      This is where the dream began. It was night time; my dad was on the couch in front of the TV, I was standing beside him, and we were about to watch a movie. He hands me a movie and I look at it.

      "The Illusionist? I just watched this a few days ago! But I'll watch it anyways."

      I sat down beside him on the couch.

      That was true; I had actually watched the movie in real life less than a week ago. When I woke up, I was surprised a real movie was be in my dreams. Anyways, that's beside the point.

      He put the DVD in, and the disc menu looked almost exactly like the real thing. Although I cannot remember exactly what was in it, my father handed me a navy, rectangular box. It may have been some form of candy, or chocolate. I also remember opening it and exclaiming that I liked this "type" of food.

      The dream skipped, and I was now at the computer desk on a balcony. The floor of the balcony was tan marble tile, which actually looked very pretty, and the walls were all large square glass panels, separated by thin lines of silver structure. The desk faced out towards the window, which was looking out at a next-door apartment building. I was making graphics on the computer; game sprites, to be exact. I was making a character for an upcoming video game I was creating, which looked very intricate and detailed, even though I could never really have designed something like it. The sprite was around 50x50 pixels, was salmon-colored, and had yellow stripes. It looked almost like a fluffy hedgehog, of some sort. That's when I heard my dad coming; whenever I hear my parents coming, I always seem to close what I'm doing on the computer, no matter how innocent it may be (not like I do anything else). My dad walked in and I was just able to close the computer window with the sprite on it.

      He looked at me and asked "what are you doing?" fairly suspiciously.

      I was surprised by his reaction.

      I told him that I was creating sprites, but this only made him more suspicious. He asked me what sprites were, and before I could reply, he asked if they're a type of drug. I replied that they aren't, it's a type of computer graphic, but he began yelling and saying to never do that again.

      I'm gonna be sure to keep lucid moments in the present tense from now on, and non-lucid stuff in the past tense, since I feel that is more interesting, makes for a better read, and gives more importance to the lucid parts.

      So, I'm in the final stretch. I have a bit of a break so I figured I'll spend some time on my DJ. Here's a short lucid I had last night that was kinda fun.

      The lead up to lucidity was somewhat interesting. Typical dream family life continued as per usual. I played the lives of two family members and did everything I could to keep it a secret from everybody. Characters from Family Guy were also there. There was some kind of event going on that nobody wanted to attend, so Chris had a fat girl fill in for him, hoping no one would notice.

      Not being an idiot like the rest of the family, I did notice, and confronted her about it, asking her how much he was going to pay her, and alternatively if she would get paid if her cover was blown. She said she would get 50 bucks either way since Chris isn't really that smart. My chance to extort a little money from her backfired so I made my way out of the house, to my court. I made it all the way down to the end of my driveway when I saw five teenagers approach me. One whispered to the other something about sticking to the plan as they started to circle me. Well, if it's a fight they want, then it's a fight they'll get.

      Good thing this is all a dream, I think, as I reach both hands down to my left side, otherwise I wouldn't be able to do this. I feel the scabbard in my left hand and the fabric wrapping the hard sturdy hilt of my Katana in my right. I start to unsheathe it. It doesn't make a sound as I pull, so I provide my own (even though it's not supposed to make a sound if you do it right). I also put the sheath and blade out, horizontally, in front of me so I can see it as I pull it out. The steel blade is dark and cold, ignoring the searing sunlight above and refusing to shine as I finish my draw and bring it into a basic stance.

      The teenagers back up a step. A look of surprise on their faces. Still, one of them had already managed to get behind me. I watch his shadow on the ground and listen for any sign of attack. He rushes at me. Smirking, I let him get a little bit closer before I flip my stance and flick my blade around, thrusting it into his abdomen, so quickly all he can do is gasp and stand there, shocked by my speed and form. I twist and tear the blade out through his side. There's no blood, and his skin is unusually hard to cut. This should be interesting.

      A few others come at me, a look of anger on their faces. I attack them fiercely, but my slashes only cut so deep as their rock hard skin stops my blade from proceeding any further into their bodies. Another one tries to surprise me from behind. I do the same trick I did with the other guy and he jumps back in surprise, and fear, to avoid the thrust, throwing his arms up comically as he does so.

      The leader tries to take advantage of my move and jumps at me from the side. I whip my sword around and slice off his arm. Suddenly, the dream glitches out and everything seems to split and slide in differing directions at the point where I cut through his arm. Woah, what's going on? I focus for a second, and everything comes back together in a snap. Unfortunately, he still has his arm.

      I take a relaxed stance as the teens around me stop their assault. "Okay, I think that's enough." Their leader, the guy I just cut, says. "We were wondering if you wanted to join our group."

      "What group?" I ask.

      "Oh, we're part of an organization that sets up fun battles, kinda like this. See, we're Ninjas, but we needed some people to be Pirates, and we were hoping you could be a Pirate for us."

      "Huh?"

      "We have a website if you want to check it out: it's piratesvsninjas.com. There's a bunch of servers set up where we can play games with each other online from the PC or the Xbox, and can use a glitch to sometimes transfer those games over to dreams."

      "You mean, like, shared dreams?"

      "Yeah! We can have 2 on 2 fights, 4 on 4's, and 8 on 8's! It's a lot of fun."

      "This is just silly."

      "No, it's really cool! Here! I'll show you the website!"

      He whipped out a laptop. By this point I was no longer lucid. I took the computer from him and opened up my DJ for some reason. I told him to give me a sec and that I had to check something. I noticed an entry about a dream in which I wrote, in my Dream Journal, about a dream that happened inside the dream. It had a character in it named IceIceIceDawg.

      Then a loud noise woke me up.

      *non lucid about a perverted yeti and shooting it with a Barret .50 Cal. goes here*

      *realization that I'm dreaming after worrying about opening and closing a door and having the yeti reappear goes here*

      How vivid! Thus the apple juice has proven its worth, three nights in a row. Now, to the air! As I fly off my front porch and skim the grass, the girl from before rushes out, still angry at me for not trying to take out the yeti any sooner, keeping up with my speed. "Wonderful dream we're having." I comment, smiling widely. She smiles back, anger disappearing, and rushes ahead. Goodbye, character of my mind, I will never see you again.

      Oh, what to do? I think to myself, rising slowly into the air. Oh, yes, I need to speak with my Dream Guide. This won't be too hard, I think. "When I turn around, my Dream Guide will be in the court below me." The sun shines off the sleek black roof before me. I can see the reflection of everything behind me, but I ignore it verily. TURN! Aha, what is that figure dressed in green lying on the asphalt so far below? Surely, it is my Dream Guide!

      I fly toward the female, dropping to the ground as I get closer. I reach out my hand and pull her up. Oh, I'd recognize that face and this strange feeling of, what, connection(?), anywhere. But, alas, something is amiss. She is so young and petite. It is her face, her hair, her presence, but much younger than I've ever seen. We greet each other with a smile. And I go right into why I've called for her. "I have some questions for you, about Ice."

      "I know, but first you have to do something for me."

      "What is it?"

      "Take me to Narnia Castle."

      "Okay, let's go."

      *change in tense and style because I'm getting lazy*

      We head off. She runs ahead of me, taking my hand and pulling me along. My hands are dry, so I wet them and rub them together. She tries to take my hand again, but I don't want her to have to grab my wet hand, so I let the sleeves of my green Trench Coat fall past my hands.

      I have no idea where we're going, or why she'd want to go to a place like that, whatever it may be. "Narnia Castle will be right up there when we pass those houses." I see buildings past the houses on the left street from my court. And straight ahead a strange could formation is being created at building level. "Or, if not, it'll form from those weird clouds right there."

      We make it all the way to the end, but there's no obvious castle or building which we should enter. Suddenly a person calls out to us, pointing out the building behind them as the entrance to where we wanted to go. We head inside. She lets go of my hand and I start to feel myself slipping away. I can't hold onto the dream, and sure enough, I wake up.

      Well, looks like I have some time to write this all down. De derp. All done, now to publish it. De derp. Great. I guess I'll check some email before the test. Oh, look my Dream Guide has replied to my journal. I am currently not noticing that I am in some kind of metro eatery style place or something and my DG is right outside the window. Instead I am having this conversation as I'm reading it. Hearing our voices as I go through. "What did that Castle thing have to do with Ice? Oh, you were trying to give me a clue? Is that where I should go to find him?" She gave me a look that, in retrospect, could be taken as either she didn't want to reveal something, but I was on the right track, or that what I was saying was just plain idiotic. I took it for the former. "So, he does hang out there a lot! Okay, so then he's just a DC!"

      "No," she says. "he's a person, like me." I go silent. My Dream Guide has always been nothing more to me than an extension of myself, a way to reach and interact with my subconscious thoughts. I had never payed the connection I felt around her any mind. And at this time, I still wasn't. I felt awkward. Does she not know she's a DC?

      "Well, look, some people are posting comments on my journal. I should attend to that."

      And then I woke up for real.
    14. Morning of November 8th 2009

      Just remembered my dream/couple of dreams.

      I was playing CoD 6 Modern Warfare 2, I must be because I am really exited and I can't wait till it comes out (in two days).

      I had a gun that was shown in one of the trailers, it felt really good. I think I was actually IN the game, rather than just playing it. I was doing really good, I don't think I died at all.


      That is all I remember from that dream, I also remember being on my computer in another dream, I was on DV, and I can't remember what I did any more.

    15. Morning of October 24th 2009

      One of my dreams, I can remember one detail of it.

      I saw mes Tarrant naked.

      This was a dream which I woke up and went back to sleep, and I didn't write it down, so I have now forgotten the rest.

      But I remember more of another dream I had.

      I was at home, but it wasn't the house I live in in real life. I don't recognise the area at all. But I saw it as home nonetheless.
      Me, my mum and this other strange girl went over to some other house, we went round the back and through a door at the back.

      I can't remember what we were doing, but I remember it was something important, and we needed to do it all the time, like go back there and do it again all the time.

      And then that other girl turned against us, but I think we managed to kill her before she killed us. Then we found someone else to help us.


      And that is pretty much all I can remember.

      EDIT:I just remembered another thing
      I was on the computer and I went on DV, I noticed there were a couple of names in red but not bold like the admins. My name was also in red. I was actually confused at that point, I had never seen it before, so I clicked on my name and the other one's name to see if I could find out what it was for.
      And I can't remember what it turned out to be.

      I really need to get back into the habit of writing my dreams down as soon as I can.
