    1. Flying Means Dreaming

      by , 06-03-2020 at 05:55 AM
      Monday Night, 6/1/20

Finally broke my dry spell and got a lucid! Didn't last long but I'm happy for the change. I recalled a ton of dream plot from last night but I'll skip to right before the lucid section:

I was running down a deserted street in a suburban neighborhood, accompanied by a DC named "Chris", an in-dream boyfriend of a few months according to my dream memories. We'd just finished some schenanigans that ended with me shoving him behind a bush in front of his dwelling so he could finish getting dressed without the neighbors seeing him half naked. Don't ask Anyway we were laughing and running down the street and I started taking some leaps and jumps into the air as I ran because I was feeling quite happy and energized. I found that each jump carried me quite high, and I started to test just how high I could go. Soon I was floating up into the air. "Flying means dreaming." I muttered to myself because that sounded like a familiar phrase somehow. "Wait, I'm flying, so I'm dreaming!" I said. I glided along and spun around a bit.

"Woah, look what you can do!" Chris said from where he was running on the ground.

"You can do it too!" I told him, grabbing his hands and pulling him into the air. I let go and twirled him around in the air by making a circular motion with my hand. Right around then I heard my alarm start beeping. Chris and I stared at each other for a moment then the dream started to fade.

When I opened my eyes I had that heavy, difficult to move feeling that told me I could still go back into the dream if I wanted to, if it weren't for the fact that I had to get up to turn off the alarm. A little annoyed, I broke the connection to the dream by moving and went to turn it off. Tried laying down again but was too awake by then to get back to sleep.

The idea was I was a child of Chris Brown and I was taking an exam. I must've been 3 or 4 years old. In this suburban house was a room on the first floor with a bunch of other kids taking the exam except they were cheating. We were afraid the teacher would come in and catch us. I went to the third floor and went to the back of the room to cheat on the test by using my phone. I remember someone telling me to use quizlet to cheat but I never brought my phone up to look up answers. The test was about 50 questions but I only managed to get through 15 or so. On the top floor Chris and a bunch of other adults came up and a lot was going on.

Dream fragment - Walking around town
I just remember waking up from my first dream cycle and thinking that I had 2 separate dreams. I was walking around my home town, near the roundabout but not really sure what happened. There seemed to be a large gap and then I was in a new dream.

      Dream 1 - Survival
Imagine those crypts in Skyrim that are dome-like with the opening in the top, I jumped into one of those and the interior was really dark. It had a similar atmosphere to something like 'Doom' or 'Quake', and there were there rectangle flesh aliens attached to the ground. Roughly an arms length, maybe 20cm wide and 5cm high, they were everywhere kind of just radiating out from the centre. They attack you by lurching one side up and slamming onto you. Their 'flesh' is like a bundle of red sinew that when attacking, will become fibrous and latch around its victim. When I fell into the room there was so much of it and it was grabbing at me. I don't know how but I seemed to kill a whole bunch of them, the 'don't know how' part was interesting because I seemed to have no memory of how anything works. I watched a video on Youtube by Cracked called 'The Stumbling Dead' which is a joke about how the Walking Dead can all understand each other but they have no idea what the f*ck is going on . I seemed to be in that kind of mindset, my hair was ragged and really long, my skin was dirtied and the only clothing I had was a rag around my waist. I tried getting away from the alien things, there appeared to be a tunnel leading out of the dome room on one side which I felt like I had been down before. At this point it was almost like the dream had a game-like theme to it, where if you failed you could retry which was why I thought I had been down the tunnel...

      Dream 2 - Balloons
I seemed to be dungeon crawling with a few friends, I had been through the dungeon before (was some kind of game world) and was advising them on certain things. It was pretty stereotypical for a dungeon, stone brick walls with high ceilings etc. We turned up in a room which apparently just has a tonne of enemies spawn and the easiest thing to do is just bypass everything by running to the exit. I tell my friends about this but the look in their eyes tells me that they want to grind some experience.. "*sigh*, okay then we'll do that" . We head down the stairs next to the entrance when suddenly I realize there's some stupid event going on. A plethora of freakin' balloons surges up in front of us. 'Ugh god damn it why now?', the aim is to pop as many balloons or a special balloon which gives you heaps of points. I spot the special balloon (which is blue and white) and take a whack at it with some kind of whip-like sword, it smashes against it but the balloon doesn't pop. It seems to be a lot harder to pop than other balloons :/. I chase after it and whack at it a few times but nothing happens. A guy called Chris from my geology class shows up, he's hitting other contenders to earn points. There seems to be a lot of people competing now, in the distance about 20m away I see the announcer of the game narrating the points people are earning. He's wearing a suit and holding a microphone. Chris pokes me in the stomach with a long stick. "1 point to Chris!" the narrator shouts. "God that's cheap" I say, he isn't even trying to get balloons -.-... Chris stabs at me again with his stick which is more like a really long staff. It's pissing me off now, stop it dude. I grab his stick and take it off him, then snap it in half. I know this is against the rules but damn he was annoying. I walk past him and leave, taking the broken stick with me. I notice that he now has a new stick "Ugh what a douche". I enter a passageway leading to another part of the large room the competition is being held in. The place is so colourful now, there's even a colourful playground nearby. I remember thinking about how the whole stick thing was typical behaviour for a friend of mine called Matt. When we'd play Jedi Academy on LAN he would pick the longest lightsabers and then just do flips all over the place that one-hit everyone. And because they were so long you couldn't do anything about it .
    4. City of Mithril

by , 07-16-2013 at 03:01 AM (Chronicles of Ethos)
      City of Mithril

This dream started with Lucidis, Chris, and Claire entering the city they spotted in the previous dream. The city was built on a large oasis with the desert river running through the middle of the city. The city appeared to be mostly medieval in nature. The buildings in the city were made with a silvery-blue metal. It looked beautiful and it seemed magical. Within the city walls, it also felt much cooler than out in the desert.

Having just come out of the desert, they decided to take the day to relax and enjoy themselves. Chris and Claire decided to head to the tavern and rest there. Lucidis however wanted to explore the city. He was more interested in interacting with the people and learning about the city. By this point Lucidis had completely forgotten about the heart stone.

Lucidis wandered the city for a while and talked with a lot of people, but I won't go into too much detail. He learned that the city was built upon a mine that is abundant with a rare mineral known as mithril. Many buildings in the city were created with mithril, which was what gave them the silvery-blue look. I'm not 100% sure, but I think Lucidis also learned that the name of the city was Arinok, or something like that.

Lucidis also heard some stories about people disappearing in the mines and about mithril mysteriously disappearing. There was actually more to it than that, but I can't remember the details. Lucidis interpreted this as a quest and decided he would investigate it the next day.

The sun was beginning to set, so Lucidis went back to the tavern where the group would likely be staying for a few days. There were quite a few people there drinking and having a good time. They were likely there for some sort of fighting tournament that was to take place that night. Lucidis managed to find Claire relaxing at a table drinking what I'm assuming was wine. Surprisingly, Lola was there as well and talking to Claire.

Lucidis ordered a glass of orange juice and sat down next to them. Lucidis asked Lola what she was doing in Arinok. She told him that she and Rick were investigating some of the strange things that have been happening in the city. They were related to the stories that Lucidis heard earlier. It was then decided that both groups would try to complete this quest the next day.

Chris soon came back to the table and he looked pretty drunk. He said something about signing Lucidis and Claire up for the fighting tournament. Chris said he wanted to win the prize, but he was too drunk to participate. I can't remember what the prize was though.

Dream time skipped a bit and a large boxing ring was now present on the far end of the tavern. By this point the semi-final round was being finished by Lucidis. The final round between Lucidis and Claire was about to start. Lucidis was excited for this because it would be his first time fighting Claire with her stasis armor.

I'm having trouble recalling the fight, so I guess I'll just skip that. I do remember that the dream ended in the middle of the fighting.
    5. The Desert Camp

by , 07-15-2013 at 05:01 AM (Chronicles of Ethos)
      The Desert Camp

Lucidis, Chris, and Claire had recently crossed the border into Efile and set out to walk in one direction, which was south. I don't think they really knew where they were going. The map from "The Heart Stone" had no details relating to roads, cities, or geography. I wonder if it's a part of the world that people from outside Efile know little about.

They were traveling through a hot sandy desert. They wore white hooded cloaks to protect them from the heat of the sun. Chris was also carrying a large backpack which likely contained traveling and survival gear. Traveling through the desert wasn't too difficult for them, though it certainly wasn't a walk in the park. It felt kind of like traveling through the desert in Journey (an indie video game).

They didn't talk much and early part journey was pretty uneventful aside from sliding down large sand dunes. Lucidis and Chris found that to be fun. After traveling for a fair amount of time, Claire spotted something from the top of a large sand dune. She activated the visor of her stasis armor and used the binoculars function to get a better look at it. Claire then told Lucidis and Chris that there was a camp and river a few miles to the west.

Initially Chris wanted them to keep traveling in the same direction to avoid getting lost and to get through the desert quickly. After talking it over, it was then decided that going to camp and following the river would be safer. They began to walk west towards the camp and dream time skipped here.

It was now what I think was morning of the next day. Lucidis, Chris, and Claire had apparently stayed the night in that camp. The camp appeared to be the remains of an old abandoned military camp. It was mostly in ruins, but some of the structures were still in tact.

Claire had asked for Chris and Lucidis meet her at a location a short distance south of the camp in the morning. Chris and Lucidis traveled there and what they found was a rather large obstacle/training course. It had what looked to be about a hundred stone platforms elevated above quicksand. The platforms were spaced apart with various obstacles such as rope swings, monkey bars, and balance beams between them.

Claire told Lucidis and Chris to remove their cloaks and to start training. Naturally, Lucidis though training in the middle of a hot desert was ridiculous and protested. Claire told him it that it would help condition their bodies to the desert environment. She also threatened to shoot Lucidis, so he started training on the obstacle course.

After training for some time, Lucidis made it to the far end of the obstacle course and stopped to take a breath. He looked out towards the river and followed the river with his eyes. He looked towards the southwest and saw what appeared to be silvery-blue towers shining far off in the distance. It looked like it was a city to him.

Lucidis called to Chris who was navigating an obstacle a few platforms away. Lucidis pointed in the direction of the city and asked Chris if he could see it too or if it was just a mirage. Chris confirmed that it was real by saying that he could see it too. They worked their way back to Claire and told her about the city. They planned to journey to the city after that, but I think it was around this point that the dream ended.

    6. The Heart Stone

Because I tend to dream from the perspective of other dream characters fairly frequently now, I feel like it would be easier to understand my dreams if they were written in some sort of first person third person mix.

      The Heart Stone

This dream was from about 3 days ago, so I don't remember much of it anymore. I feel like it's important to the story though. Lucidis, Chris, and Claire were walking along a stone bridge above the sea. The bridge connected the mainland and a small island not too far off. On the small island was a stone tower. The tower was a sort of college where various things were studied and researched.

Lucidis was holding and looking at a strange stone as they walked. It was blood red and you could see into it a little. It looked like there was something at the core of the stone, but it was unclear. Lucidis had apparently come acquired this stone on a previous adventure, but I can't seem to recall that moment. Lucidis felt like the stone had some importance to it. Chris had suggested taking it to a geologist so that the stone could be identified.

Lucidis, Chris, and Claire crossed the bridge and entered the tower through an open doorway. They went down a set of stairs into a room below the tower. This was where the geologists did their research. There was only one man there who seemed to be the professor. He was sitting at his desk reading charts and graphs. He didn't notice them walk in until Lucidis placed the red stone in front of him.

Lucidis asked the professor to identify the stone and asked what he should do with the stone. The geologist studied the stone for a moment with a lense. If I remember correctly, he said that it was a heart stone. He then said that it should be taken to Efile. Lucidis had never heard of Efile before, so he asked the professor what Efile was. He layed a map of the world across the desk and simply pointed at a part of the map. Unfortunately the map was somewhat blurry and distorted, but a white country labeled Efile could be found in the south east corner of the continent.

There may have been other things that happened, but I think I woke up after looking at the map.

It was my second lucid in a long time. There was another scenario I was in before this one but I forgot. I remember first spawning in a room with my old friends in high school. Chris, Johnny, and Jerimiah. But all I could is Chris' back. He was wearing the same red sweater he wore in high school.

Already lucid, I followed all three of them. I'd like to mention too, while I was lucid, I tried my best to try and stay in the dream for as long as I could. Our intention was to go in to Pacific High School and knock on a few classrooms. The school is very close. We're in cafeteria right now and it looks a lot like a dream where I saw Varaporn in.

The cafeteria was a really nice one. It gave a Las Vegas buffet kind of feel. Me and my friends walked past a few obstacles such as a boy, a little girl, and a drinking machine. Before we made our way past the drinking machine, there was something very strange. I was no long following anyone, instead, walking up past me were a few kids, similar to all three of my friends. The third kid who was passed me appeared to be a lot like an older version of me. It could of been Jerimiah but I had a strong feeling I was only in this dream to look back at my past.

Now that I was alone, I realized that I did visit this dream before. There were people around eating and talking to one another. At one point, I did meet a few friends I met in the past before, but there was one who caught my eye. Her name was Mylinh Thieu. I never met her in reality, we would only chat on Facebook. She was sitting in front of a door I wanted to pass by. I tried not to stare at her but she stared at me. This got me thinking about her and why we never ended up meeting each other.

After a few more tables I walked by, I finally reached a part where the dream was becoming harder to stabilize. I walked up in front of a girl and told her something. "We're in a dream." She looked a little shocked. I put my left hard on her right shoulder and left the area.

I found a new exit. There was a door. I opened the door and met a few people inside. I don't remember who they were. I quickly walked to them and told them something else. "If you're real, email me. It may be able to help me with my depression, or not depression, but an idea." Maybe the exact words but I do remember saying it could help with my depression. She told me okay, so I proceeded to the next room.

This was the last room I entered. There was no one in it. I began to become more worried about the time in the waking world. I saw a box of chocolate chip cookies on the counter in the room. It was Chip's Ahoy cookies. I walked up in front of it and grabbed it. At the time I grabbed them, the dream was fading away. I stared slowly at the ceiling and forced myself to wake up.

I woke up trying to move my legs and body. At first I wasn't able to but a few seconds later I did and woke up to this world...
    8. Jeep Crash, Recurring Game (March 14, 2012)

      Jeep Crash

There was quite a bit that happened in this dream, but I can only remember the ending. I was in the backseat of a Jeep. Claire was in the driver's seat and Chris was in the passenger side. We were driving pretty fast through a field. There was another Jeep chasing after us. The one behind us had a few shadow men and they were shooting at us. There wasn't really much I could do other than duck and shoot a few tiny fireballs at them. Claire was doing most of the work by driving and swerving away from the bullets.

As the chase went on, the ground started to get very bumpy. Claire started losing control of the vehicle. I could tell that were were about to crash. "Claire! Use the brake!" I yelled to her. She slammed on the brake, but that somehow made as fly and flip through the air. "Damn it!" I yelled as we flew through the air. When we crashed into the ground, I hit my head on something and passed out for a moment. When I came back to myself, my vision was blurry. Claire was pulling me and Chris to a safe spot behind a large tree. Luckily, the bad guys usually suck at shooting and didn't hit Claire. I woke up shortly after reaching the safe spot because it was so blurry.

Note: Don't let Claire ever drive again. It's not fun.

      Recurring Game

I can't remember much of this dream either. I think I purposely chose to block it out of my memory. It was some recurring dream I've had about being inside a video game. It seems fun at first, but then you realize that certain things make it the worst ever. It was night time in the dream and I was walking around some mountain. A level of the game starts when you enter a cave. I entered the cave and fought with some little goblin monster things for about 30 seconds. That part was pretty fun, but I don't remember the details. After 30 seconds though, I was teleported out and told that it was a 9 minute wait until the next session. So I walked around for a few minutes and looked for something to do or someone to talk to. I couldn't find anything to pass the time though.

I became lucid after the 5 minute mark. I realized that I've had this dream a few times before. I would always be bored for 9 minutes and then get kicked out of the dream when it was time to play again. This irritated me and I wanted to destroy this dream. I wanted to stop it from having the same ending. Amazingly, I was mad enough about it to go into a high powered fury mode. I turned into a purple dragon and started charging my fury energy. I spent the last 4 minutes of the dream I had blasting everything to bits with waves of fury energy. Literally everything. I even blew up a mountain with one powerful blast. I was having a lot of fun nuking the dreamscape. Unfortunately, I eventually hit the 9 minute point and woke up.

    9. Searching for Claire (March 5, 2012)

      DreamLucidAwake

      Searching for Claire

Well, when you don't write a dream until 2 months later, things become a little blurry. It started out with me walking along some part of Honey Creek Road in Ohio. Chris was also walking with me. It was rainy and a little foggy. We were looking for something, but I wasn't quite sure what we were looking for at the time. The setting of the dream and the fact that we weren't succeeding made us feel kind of bad. "I'm getting sick of this rain." I said. Right after I said this, I noticed a girl ahead who doesn't seem to be bothered by the rain. I'm pretty sure it was my dream student, Molly.

Some sort of weird dream thing happened where I started seeing the world through her eyes for a moment. Through her eyes, there was no rain, but only sunshine. Everything was just fine and happy. There's something I learned from that about positive thinking, but I don't feel like explaining it. When my vision returned to normal, I felt a lot better. The rain quickly disappeared and the sun started to shine brightly. We walked over to Molly and greeted her. I can't remember what was said, but she agreed to help us.

As we walked along the road I saw a town off in the distance. To the side of the road I also notice a sign with a few things about the town. There were pictures of different things associated with the town. At the bottom right corner of one of the images there was a man reading a newspaper. I saw Claire's picture in the paper.
I finally became lucid due to all of the obvious signs I was dreaming. I realized that Claire is who were looking for. She was missing and was apparently last spotted in this town. I looked away from the sign and said, "I think Claire might be in this town!" "Why do you think that?" Chris asked. "Look at this picture." I told him. When I looked back at the picture, the newspaper showed an article about a car crash instead of Claire.

I got a little annoyed and tried to figure out how I thought I saw Claire. "I could have sworn I saw Claire in that picture." I said. "I remember you told me that sometimes text changes inside dreams. So maybe it works the same for pictures." Molly said. That actually made sense. "Thanks, I think you might be right." I said. I started walking towards the town, but then it felt like I was alone. I turned around and realized they were still standing next to the sign. "Aren't you guys coming?" I asked. I saw that Chris was looking a bit nervous. "Claire scares me sometimes." Chris said. "Alright, you two can stay here, but I'm going to find Claire." I said. I then proceeded to walk towards town.

The dream skipped here and I was now inside an indoor basketball court. Claire was one of the coaches for some reason. I was going to talk to her, but I somehow ended up being put in the middle of a basket ball game. I used my lucid powers to give myself a little bit of an edge in the game. I was doing things like using strength to make power shots, moving very fast, and slowing down time. When one of the kids finally realized what I was doing he became very angry. He started to have some sort of violent anger seizure thing and had to be taken to the hospital. I think I woke up after that.

    10. Training Fury Mode; Taking Out the Trash (March 4, 2012)

by , 04-13-2012 at 05:29 PM (Chronicles of Ethos)
      DreamLucidAwake

      Training Fury Mode

The earliest thing I can remember is walking around an old tomb with Chris. I really don't know what it was. I was inside a man made tunnel with stone walls. I could tell it was made by an ancient civilization because there were hieroglyphics on pretty much everything. Judging by the different shapes and sizes of the stone ruins, I made an assumption that there used to be a city in the tunnel. I tripped over a large stone platform as I was walking through the rubble and hurt my leg.

"What are we even doing here?" I asked Chris.
"These are the Dreamer Base ruins. The tower should be somewhere nearby." He said.

I then remembered that Chris had told me something similar before. We were looking for something that would be inside an ancient tower.
I think I became lucid around this point from hearing "Dreamer Base". It must have triggered me to think about lucid dreaming. I got up off the ground and felt really excited about finding this mystery item. Then a giant green troll monster thing crashed through the wall. Chris pulled out his bow and started shooting at the troll. The arrows were about as effective as tooth picks. For some reason I felt like I was too weak to be able to fight this thing. I decided it would be best to run away from this thing.

It picked up a large brick and threw it towards Chris. I grabbed Chris, opened up a a portal to the void, and jumped in before the brick could hit him. I quickly opened a portal to somewhere near the ruins below us before the troll get in. We both fell through the portal, and as usual I landed on my face. When I got up and looked around, I was in a forest now. Right next to me was Chris and a large stone tower. I knew that whatever I was looking for would be at the top of the tower.

I ran through the entrance and started running up the spiral staircase. Chris followed right behind me. When I reached the top of the stairs, there was a little door on the ceiling. I pushed it open and we climbed onto the roof. The view from up there was pretty amazing. There was a pedestal resting on the center of the roof. I kind of just took a guess on what I needed to do. I pulled a red crystal out of my backpack and placed it on the pedestal. It glowed brightly for a moment and then stopped. Suddenly my energy sense activated and I felt more than just Chris's energy behind me.

I turned around and jumped back, expecting to have to fight something. A large red dragon landed next to Chris and stared at me. I relaxed and dropped my fighting stance because he didn't feel dangerous. He spoke to me, but I can't remember what exactly we talked about at first. I do remember the last half of the conversation though.

"I am here to train you." The dragon said.
"Sorry, but I already know how to use my fire element." I said.
"No, I'm going to teach you about the 'fury mode', as you like to call it."
"Hey! I got an idea! Let's call it the Woosh! Because of the sound it makes when you release it?" Chris said.

Chris left me no choice but to facepalm after hearing that statement. Even the dragon gave Chris a strange look.

      "Okay, never mind." Chris said.
"I thought you could only breathe fire." I said to the dragon.
"Yes, but I know how to gather fury energy to make it more powerful." He said.

The dragon stepped back a few feet, preparing to demonstrate. He became very focused and a red energy started to form around him. He focused the energy to his foot and then stamped his foot down on the ground. Hundreds of large and powerful fireballs rose up out of the floor and flew into the sky. The exploded and lit the sky up with a bright red light. After seeing that, it was obvious that he knew a lot about this technique. I was so amazed and ready to learn from him at that point. I stepped back to the other side of the tower and prepared for my training.

"Think of something that angers you while gathering fury energy." The dragon said.

He didn't speak to anymore, but it sort of felt like he was still guiding me through it passively. I thought of something that made me angry, but I can't remember what it was. The idea was to gather energy from my emotions to make myself more powerful. I focused on making my energy spike while trying to become a little angry. My body started glowing with a purple energy that felt warm. I then transformed into my stage 1 dragon form, which is the black dragon I usually transform into. I powered the energy up some more and it grew into a full aura around me. At this point I was trying reach a stage where my fury mode would become more powerful. When my energy spiked again I transformed into my stage 2 dragon form, which is a more powerful white dragon. The aura didn't grow any larger, but it definitely felt far more intense. Eventually I pushed on through to my final stage 3 dragon form, which is a purple dragon. Once again, the fury energy greatly increased in power and intensity.

"Good job. Try to calm down without losing your energy now." He said.

I put my arms down and allowed all of the muscles in my body to relax. I allowed my mind to calm down while at the same time focusing on the energy around me. When I did this, the fury energy hardly lost power and was still flowing through me. I was able to maintain this energy now without my mind filled with anger. It felt pretty amazing having so much power. I walked over to Chris to show him. He waved his hand through the aura and thought it was pretty cool. As we were playing with the aura, I sensed the energies of a group of below in the forest. The three of us walked over to the edge of the tower to take a look.

When I looked down I saw a group of 10 or more men in red robes. From that it became obvious that they were Draflam soldiers. I wasn't sure why they were coming towards the tower though. I think it may have been because they don't like me and want me dead.

"How would you like to use those Draflams as target practice?" The dragon said smiling.
"Sounds like a good idea to me." I said
"This is going to be fun to watch!" Chris said.

I jumped over the tower wall and spread out my wings. I flew down towards the group of Draflams and prepared for a fight. I breathed out that purple energy on a couple of them like my fire breath. They were covered with a purple fire and were soon vaporized. Most of them quickly ran towards the tower, but one tried running away. I grabbed the fleeing Draflam and flew him right into the tower wall. I then flew right back towards the entrance and fired out a ball of fury energy in front of it. A few Draflams got inside the tower, but I blasted away the rest of them. I flew through a hole in the tower and landed on the staircase in front of them. They shot fireballs at me, but I created a shield around me out of fury energy. I then blasted out a wave of energy in front of me and killed the last of the soldiers.

I flew back up to the top of the tower. I deactivated my fury mode and walked over to Chris and the dragon. The congratulated me for completing my training. I think I woke up after this point though.

      Taking Out the Trash

This was a very short dream. My mother told me to take a bag of garbage out to the field to burn it. So I carried the bag out to the field. I pulled out a lighter to burn the trash, but it wasn't working. I became lucid at this point for some reason. Probably because being in a field is somewhat of a common dream sign for me. I decided the lighter was useless so I just tossed it over my shoulder. I held my hand out towards the garbage and lit in on fire. Magic makes everything so much easier. I think I was hit by a random car shortly after this. Why must my dreams end in stupid ways like that?

      The King Black Dragon

The dream started out with me and my family at my grandmother's house. It was night and we were just sitting around watching tv. I think it might have been something like NCIS on tv. I didn't pay much attention to the tv because something didn't feel right. It felt like there was something in the living room spying on us. My energy sense sort of activated on its own and I used it to try to find this something. Even though I wasn't lucid, I was playing things out as if I was. I at least had enough awareness to know I was dragonborn. I couldn't see it, but I could sense the energy to move towards the bedroom.

I walked away from the living room and into one of the bedrooms. I couldn't really pinpoint the location of the energy or what was creating it. The energy felt evil and I thought it wanted to kill someone. After judging the amount of energy it was giving off, I realized it was a lot more powerful than me. Knowing that it was more powerful than a dragonborn shocked me a little. I threw the blankets off the bed because I thought this thing was hiding under it. There was nothing there however. I started to become a little afraid of the situation. Something extremely powerful was around here, I had no idea what it was, I couldn't see it, and I had no idea if it was after me or my family. My mother saw that I was acting strange and came into the room.

"What's wrong?" She said while picking the blanket back off the floor.
"There's an alien presence here and it's more powerful than a dragonborn." I said.
"What's its energy level?" She asked.
"It's like over 100,000 and I can't even find its exact location!" I said frustrated.

I kicked the bed out of frustration. The energy level spiked to what I thought was around 150,000. I could sense it crawl out from under the bed in a panic. Right at that moment I got an idea and knew I had an opportunity to use it. I focused on my eyes to give myself the dragon sight ability as the thing brushed by me. I was hoping that dragon sight would be powerful enough to see something seemingly invisible. I looked towards the energy intensely as it ran out the door. As it ran towards the kitchen I could see a faint blurry outline of this thing. I saw what looked like a dragon with glowing red eyes. The image disappeared when it stopped moving and its energy went back down.

I kept my eyes fixed on the spot the dragon stopped at and ran into the kitchen. I stopped in front of this spot and I could just barely hear breathing in front of me. I reached out my hand to touch it. I jerked my hand back in pain. It must have clawed me becuase there was a cut in my hand. Right when I pulled back I heard the dragon speak to me.

"Fool, you've fallen right into my trap." He said.

A black hole suddenly opened up between us and I was sucked in. I came back out of it a second later and hit the ground face first. I had been teleported next to a lake in the middle of a forest. It was daytime now. When I got off the ground I felt the dragon's energy somewhere above me.

"I'll be waiting..." He said before flying off.

I sensed the energy fly off towards a big mountain off in the distance. I started questioning what the hell just happened. About 5 minutes ago I was relaxing on the couch and watching tv. Now I'm sensing energies, using dragon sight, and talking to dragons.
Being teleported was the thing that finally convinced me that I was dreaming.

"I should have realized that from the start." I said to myself.

Before I could even come up with a plan, I felt something come at me from behind. It tried to throw a punch at me, but I jumped up, spun around, and kicked it in the face. It was some big muscular guy. He looked as if he was built for fighting. I kicked him hard enough to make him slide back into a tree.

      "Hello." I said.
"Lucky shot. I'll make sure it doesn't happen again." He said wiping blood from his mouth.
"What exactly do you want?" I asked him.
"I was given orders to stop you from passing."

We both got in our fighting stances and stared at each other. I quickly made a move to try and morph into a dragon and he dashed towards me. He appeared in front of me in just a second and I had just barely enough time to grow wings. He punched me in the face and I went flying. He punched me so hard that I landed on the lake and started skidding across the surface on my back. I did a back flip and flapped my wings to stabilize myself. I then flew straight back towards the man.

I threw a punch at him, but he blocked it with his arm and brought me to a dead stop. I hovered a little above the ground to meet his hieght and fought him that way. He threw a punch and I kicked it away. I tried punching him, but he blocked it with his other arm. He aimed a kick at my stomach and I blocked it with my own kick. I threw a punch towards his face, which he blocked with both arms. I then kicked him in the chest and he slid back. He dashed back towards me and I grabbed him. I flew high into the air with him. I dived back towards the ground with him as fast as I could. When we got near the ground, I let go, and kicked him as hard as I could in the stomach. He hit the ground hard enough to make it crack at least.

I assumed he was knocked out, so I decided to continue with my adventure. I flew in the direction that I thought the dragon had flown. The dream created a time illusion that made me think I had been flying for a while. I had only been flying for about 30 seconds before sunset turned to night. I was flying over a city between the lake and the mountains. My wings were feeling tired, so I landed on the roof of an apartment building to rest.

This next part is fragmented. A martial artist, who reminded me of Jackie Chan, appeared behind me and kicked me in the back. I didn't bother saying anything to him, because I knew it would be the same as the last guy. We punched and kicked at each other for a while. I do remember that I defeated him by kicking him off the building.

I decided I would get going again before some other guy showed up. I jumped off of a building and started flying towards the mountain again. The dream skipped here and I was now standing in front of a cave at the base of the mountain. I had a feeling the cave was the way I needed to go, so I ran inside. It was dark at first, but I eventually came to a room that was lit up by an orange light. The light was coming from the magma flowing through the cracks in ground. There were a bunch of Aranians in the room fighting monsters. These monsters were moss and plant covered boulders that were magically connected together. Kind of like how sticks connect together to make a stickman.

I saw Chris standing on top of a tall boulder with a bow. He was helping the Aranians by shooting arrows at the monsters. The boulder that he was standing on then rose up out of the ground. He was actually standing on one of those guys. Chris fell off of the monster as it stood up. I picked up a sword that an Aranian soldier had dropped on the ground and ran towards Crhis. The monster lifted its arms and tried to punch Chris. I flew between them and blocked its arm with my sword. I then thrusted my sword into its grassy stomach. It stumbled back a few feat before an Aranian jumped in and started fighting it.

      "Hi Chris." I said.
"Thanks for that. Earth guardians are tough." He said.
      "Why are the Aranians here?"
"We got reinforcements to make your job easier. Just follow me now."

Chris picked his bow up off the ground and started running towards another opening on the other side of the cave and I followed him. In front of the opening was a tunnel with a river of lava flowing below. Chris lept off of the edge and landed on a rock just above the lava. He then jumped to a far away stalagmite and lept off of it to another rock. He was a lot more agile than I thought. I simply jumped off the edge and started flying above the lava. The river flowed down several different tunnels, but Chris was able to guide me in the right direction. The flight was for only about 20 seconds before we came into a larger room with an elevated circular platform in the center. Chris stopped on a small piece of land below the platform and I landed next to him.

"The king black dragon is in the arena just above us." Chris whispered.
"And I have to fight him?" I asked.
"Don't worry, I've got your back. Claire is up there fighting right now."
      "Alright. Good luck Chris."

I flew up to the arena as Chris climbed to the top of a stone pillar. I saw a very large black dragon and Claire fighting each other. Claire was trying to fight the king black dragon with just a sword and shield. He turned around and hit Claire with his tail, almost knocking her into the lava. I flew in front of the dragon and met him eye to eye.

"I've been expecting you." He said.
"I figured you were." I said
"You have no idea how long I've waited for this moment..."

He then started shooting waves of fire across the ground and fireballs in the air. Claire tried blocking the fire with her shield as I just barely dodged fireballs. Chris shot a few arrows at the dragon to distract him. Claire looked hurt, so I hurled a glowing disc at her that release healing magic. When the dragon became annoyed with Chris, he knocked down the pillar with his tail. Chris still managed to leap to another one though.

The dragon used the same fire attack from before again. This time though, I flew above the fireballs and shot him with as much ice magic as I could. The dragon got mad at me and swatted me to the floor. I got back up right away and saw flames start to form around him. I could tell that he was about to use a very powerful attack. He unleashed a wave of fire that stretched across the entire room. I grabbed Claire and shielded us both with my wings and a some ice magic.

Me and Claire seemed exhausted by this point. He looked like he was about to charge up that same move again. I got an idea and decided I would try something new. I flew up into the air and shot out over 20 balls of light from each side of me. I controlled their movements with my hands like guided missles. For some reason I call them light arrows. I motioned a few of these arrows to strike the king's belly. They exploded in a blast of light and knocked him into the air. I then blasted him from all directions with this spell while summoning more arrows. I kept this up for about 10 seconds before I felt like it was enough. When the light finally faded away he fell down to the ground and collapsed. He was still alive at this point, but badly injured. He summoned a black hole above his head and it sucked him in. I could have jumped in the black hole to chase after him, but I really didn't want to.

I looked around to see where Chris and Claire were. I saw Chris standing on a pillar and he jumped off of it onto the arena. I didn't have to search for Claire because she had already appeared next to me. Behind where the king black dragon was previously standing, we found a treasure chest. Of course, we all rushed over to it and opened it up. Inside the chest was a bunch of gold and crystals of all kinds. I think seeing the treasure made me a little too happy though and I woke up.

      Possessed

This dream is a little fragmented at the beginning. I was lucid and fighting Micheal Myers in a dark place. I probably became lucid because Micheal Myers has been a dream sign for many years. I think I was fighting with him in an old abandoned house in the middle of the night. I can only remember the final moments of the fight. Micheal grabbed by throat and lifted me up into the air. He held me against the wall and tried to strangle me. I used the dragon morph to transform my foot. I swiped him in the eye with my claws and he stumbled back. I clenched my hands together and hit him hard in the face while he was still dazed. He fell to the ground and was still covering his face from the pain. I pulled out my sword and stabbed it through his chest. I then ended it by lighting him on fire with a fireball. His body evaporated into sparks and I saw his angry spirit fly away.

The next thing I know, I'm standing on the side walk of a small neighborhood in the middle of the day. For some reason, I was now a little girl of about 5 years old. There were 2 women talking to each other about something next to a baby carriage. I then started to hear a creepy whispering voice in my head.

      "Kill... Kill them..." It said.
"What? No!" I said in my mind.
"Do it... Do my evil work for me.... Let me live on inside of you!" The voice shouted.

I realized that this was Micheal Myers speaking to me. Suddenly my body and mind became possessed. I walked in a zombie like state towards a kitchen knife lying on the sidewalk. I picked up the knife and walked towards the baby carriage. When I lifted my arm to stab the baby, I regained control of myself again.

"What the hell? I'm not going to kill a baby!" I said in my mind.
      "Do it!" He shouted.
"You can't make me!" I yelled back.
"You will obey me." He said.

I lost control of my body and lifted the knife again. I thrusted the knife down towards the baby. In a fit of rage, I regained control of my left arm and swiped it in front of the knife at the last second. I managed to stop myself from killing the baby by stabbing myself in the arm. After Micheal lost control over me, I pulled the knife back out of my arm and dropped it. The two women then finally took notice to me and the baby. We were safe now that people were aware of the weird stuff happening. The last thing I remember of this dream is Micheal saying goodbye.

"You bastard..." Micheal said before disappearing from my mind.

      Underwater Combat

I'm not 100% sure, but I think I was Claire in this dream. I was in some school building that reminded me a lot of the Lucid Academy. I was following a group of classmates to an indoor pool. On the way there, someone shared half of a cookie with me for reasons I can't remember. It was unbelievably delicious. When we walked into the pool area, everyone excpet me rushed in and jumped in the water. I looked around the room and saw a guy standing against the wall with a large box. Inside the box was powdered donuts for sale. I pulled a small pouch of gold coins out of my pocket and bought the whole box from him. I ate a few donuts and then gave the box to some other guy to "bank" them. Things are a little fragmented from this point until the end of the dream.

I looked at the pool again and saw that everyone disappeared. I then saw a few people come back to the surface for breath and quickly dive back down. There was something down there and I was curious to see what it was. I saw a hole in the floor next to the pool filled with water and a ladder. For some reason I felt like going down that way. I jumped into the water and started to sink.
I became lucid after jumping into the water because it didn't feel right. The water just felt like air. While I was underwater I thought I had to hold my breath even though I was still passively breathing.

As I floated down to the bottom, I finally noticed what was so interesting under the water. I was now floating in the sky above a small village. I could see a bunch of people down there playing around with dream control. They were doing things like flying, super speed, shooting fire, summoning, and a bunch of other things. I can't remember what exactly happened when I reached the bottom, but I know some sort of free for all lucid battle started.

I think I was hiding behind a small shack where a man was trying to sell apples for the first half of the battle. I was too confused about what was happening to get involved. I then remembered that I needed to breathe, so I flew up to towards the surface. This one guy who was dominating the competition noticed me as I flew up. He flew at me from below on his black dragon. I could sense him and the dragon coming towards me, so I dodged to the left. He glared at me as he flew by, which made me think he was taking the game a little too seriously. The dragon then swung its claws at me as I pulled out my sword. It tried to swipe me a few times, but I deflected its claws with my sword. They decided to fly away from me when I got to the surface.

At the surface I saw Chris standing next to the hole. I can't remember what was said, but it was something about helping me out in the fight. He jumped into the water with me and we dived back down to the bottom. The first thing Chris did was charge at some guy who had transformed into an anthropomorphic tiger. I saw a cloud in the sky that resembled a dragon. That reminded me of my ability to summon dragons.

      "Summon dragon!" I shouted.

A dark blue dragon wearing armor came out from behind the cloud. I jumped onto its back as it flew past me. I saw some people standing on a few clouds, shooting fire, lightning, and other spells at the people below. I flew the dragon over the clouds so it could attack. The dragon breathed a blue fire on all of them and knocked them out of the game. I then remembered that I needed more air, so I jumped off the dragon and flew back to the surface.

When I descended back down to the village, I saw Chris standing on top of the apple shack. He was shooting at people with a bow and arrows. He must have been having fun because he was laughing the whole time. Then someone came out from behind a house and shot a hundred of these tiny energy balls at Chris. Chris kind of passed out from that and just layed on top of the apple shack. I climbed on top of the apple shack, grabbed Chris, and started flying towards those clouds again. The man tried shooting that energy pellet spell again, but my dragon flew between us to protect me. When I reached the cloud, I layed Chris down on it and got on my stomach to try hiding. The sound of an energy blast and seeing pellets fly by told me that he found me anyways.

I charged ice magic in the palm of my hand, rolled over, and started shooting bursts of ice magic at him. He took cover behind a stack of a crates. He then shot his energy pellets at me and I took cover behind the cloud, which was surprisingly protective. We continued this for a while and got no where. Eventually I decided to just shoot at him the second he comes back out from behind the crates. He didn't expect that and was soon frozen solid. I stood up and took a good look at the village. It seemed like me and Chris were the only ones left. Then of course, that one guy and his black dragon appeared in front of me.

I noticed that Chris was still holding his bow, so I took that to help me in the fight. The dragon was trying to charge a ball of shadow fire. I pulled the bow string back, created a fireball in the shape of an arrow, and shot it at the dragon. The fire arrow exploded when it hit the dragon and disrupted its spell. I did this a few more times to try and weaken the dragon. My dragon then suddenly flew up from below and finished them off with its blue fire breath. It looked as if we had won the battle. Chris started to wake up a little. I then remembered that we both had been underwater for a while and needed air. I picked him up and swam to the surface. I woke up when I reached the surface this time though.

    13. Draflam War, Teaching Dream Control, Lucid Fragment (February 19, 2012)

      DreamLucidAwake

I should probably mention that I used Daydream Awareness again. I don't feel like going into detail about my daydreams anymore though.

      Draflam War

The dream started off with me standing inside the void with Claire. She was talking about the Aranians and Draflams while I was playing with a little ball of light. I think she mentioned something about being a rouge Draflam and the stupid war between two kingdoms. I was too distracted by the floating light to absorb most of the conversation. She saw that I wasn't paying attention and slapped me in the back of the head. I started paying attention and became lucid after realizing that standing inside the void isn't an everyday thing.

"Hey! Pay attention!" She yelled at me.
      "What?" I asked.
"We need a dragonborn. You're our secret weapon." She said.
"Alright, teleport us to the battlefield." I said.

Claire then took the little ball of light away from me. She focused it between her hands and expanded it until we were both sucked into it. I fell onto my back and was staring at a dark cloudy sky. I got up and looked at my surroundings. I was in the middle of a large grassy field next to a hill in the middle. Far in the distance behind me was an army of medieval style soldiers marching towards the field. They were the Aranians. In front of me I could see several groups of men in red robes getting into defensive positions. They were the Draflams. I saw a few of the red guys run behind the hill.

"I'll go kill them!" I shouted before turning into a dragon.
      "No! Wait!" Claire yelled.

I kind of ignored her and ran behind the hill with fire in my claws. I stopped when I saw a huge mass of red in front of me. There were like 50 Draflams just standing there. I stared at them for a moment and they stared at me. Then they all pulled out these weird short swords and started charging them with magic. I quickly turned around and started running back towards the hill. They chased after me and started shooting some explosive spells at me.

"Holy shit! Claire, kill them!" I screamed.

I looked at the top of the hill and saw that Claire was already shooting lightning bolts at them. I realized that this battle was going to be a bloody mess for us if I didn't use my powers. I then remembered that I can summon dragons and that Claire can ride them. I held my one hand out and pointed it at the hill and I pointed the other at the sky. I started thinking about a fire dragon and an ice dragon.

      "Summon dragons!" I yelled.

A red dragon then jumped over the hill and landed in front of me. He breathed fire on the Draflams that were chasing me and started to attack them. When they were all dead, Claire jumped on the dragon and flew towards the other Draflams. I looked up at the sky to see where the other dragon was. I saw a white dragon dive down from the clouds and land in front of me. She waited for me to give her a command. I saw the Aranian army run by me. They had giant fireballs and flaming arrows flying towards them.

"Go and help the Aranians. Defend them as much as you can."

The dragon nodded and flew above the army. I watched her to see if she would do a good job. A giant fireball flew towards them, but the dragon froze it with her ice breath and smashed it with her tail. To deal with the arrows, she would blow them away by flapping her wings. My attention then switched to a stone fortress on the other side of the hill. I figured that was our main objective. I saw Chris in an Aranian uniform trying to break the door of a tower open. I decided to run over there to help him out.

"Why do we need in here?" I asked him.
"We need to take out those ballistas so Claire can attack." He said.
"Alright, let's do this." I said.

We both charged at the door and busted it open. A Draflam tried to stab Chris from behind, but I swiped him with my tail blade. A couple more ran towards us and Chris pulled out his sword and killed them. We climbed up the spiral staircase together and had to fight many more Draflams. We got hurt a few times on the way up, but I don't feel like going into detail. When we reached the top I saw a lot ballistae at the top of the tower shooting at Claire and the fire dragon. I was sick of killing those Draflams and felt like taking them down with one attack.

      "Chris, duck." I said.
"Oh crap." He said before diving onto the floor.

I charged a huge amount of electricity in me until I felt like I had enough. I then held out my hands and released a wave of lightning in all directions. When they were all dead Claire flew back towards us with the dragon. Me and Chris jumped off just before the dragon shot a fireball at the tower. I grabbed Chris and flew us down to the ground safely. Claire jumped off of the dragon and landed on one of the fortress walls.

      "What now?" I asked Chris.
"I'll go clear out another tower. You should destroy that gun over there." He said.
      "Okay." I said.

I looked across the field to see some huge turret shooting at the Aranians. I saw a row of tanks on the other side of the field past the turret. I knew that if I could just get in that tank I could destroy the turret. I ran across the field and hoped that the gun wouldn't target me. Of course it still started shooting at me anyways. I used that purple energy thing as a shield without thinking about as I ran across. When the gunner realized he couldn't shoot through my shield he just started shooting the tanks. He managed to blow up all but one tank. I got in the tank and started shooting at turret. It blew up after 3 shots. That's the last thing I remember before walking up.

      Teaching Dream Control

I was talking to a girl over AJAX chat about lucid dreaming. I became lucid pretty early in the conversation, but I can't remember many details. The girl I was talking to was the same one from the Lucid Contract dream. From our chat on AJAX I learned that her name is in fact Molly. When I became lucid I got a little excited and told her that we were both dreaming. She denied it at first, but she then said she did a successful reality check. We started talking even more about our lucid dream and about dream control. I remember that we even started reffering to me as a dream guide. She said something about dream control being impossible for her and I started to argue with her on that.

"If it's so easy then why don't you tell me how to do it?" She asked.
"I'm not good at explaining things." I said.
"I bet that means you can't do it either."
"Oh I can do it. Want me to show you?" I asked.
"Go ahead and try to prove it Mr. Dream Guide."

Challenge accepted. I pushed my chair out of the way and stepped back a few feet. I ran foward and jumped into the computer screen. I ended up teleporting outside of Molly's computer just like I wanted. I scared the crap out of her when I came out of the computer and landed on her. I got up off the ground and laughed at how much fun it was to teleport through a computer.

"Is that proof enough for you?" I asked her.
"How did you jump out of my computer???" She asked me.
"It's called teleportation. You should learn it sometime." I said.
"What else can you do?" She asked.
"Well I can fly." I said.

I took a few steps back and then levitated into the air. I flew around the room for a while. I can't really remember the rest of the dream.

      Lucid Fragment

I was in some half destroyed city that was experiencing a war. I was wearing one of those fancy nano suits from Crysis. I had a pistol and I was running towards someone who had their back to me. I was planning on using a sneak attack. When I got close to him he quickly turned around and fired his shotgun at me. I slowed down time and bent backwards, just barely dodging bullets. I became lucid right after doing that. I knocked the shotgun out of his hands and he ran away. I activated my suit's super speed function and chased him down. When I caught up to him, I jumped into the air, and kicked him in the back of the head. I didn't bother doing anything else to him since he was already knocked out.

I ran back to the spot I encountered him and took his shotgun. I saw girl lying under truck with an LMG shooting all of my guys. I got on the ground and started crawling towards her from behind. When I got close enough, I started "firing" my shotgun at her. It must have been out of ammo or something. She noticed me and pulled out a pistol. I jumped on top of her and tried to keep the gun pointed away from me. I eventually got hold of the gun and pointed it at her. I was about to shoot her, but then I decided not to. For some reason it felt too evil to do. She then kicked me in the groin and I woke up.

      DreamLucidAwake

Once again I didn't daydream about anything in particular. I just wanted to become lucid. That may have influenced the last dream. It's also possible that I may have had spiders on my mind at one point.

      Tunnel of Spiders

I'm really not sure how to describe this dreamscape. I guess it was sort of like a Colorado dessert with all of the giant rocks and crap. I was walking around the lower area of a mountain with Claire. We were walking along a set of railroad tracks for some time just talking about something. It was probably something important that I really wanted to know. Somewhere in this I either became lucid because of the conversation or because I remembered Claire is a dream guide.

The tracks led towards a tunnel that was blocked by some really tough spider webs. There was a small cave to our left with a huge brown spider standing in it. Not really huge, but it was like bigger than my foot. It just sat there watching our every move.

Claire pointed her sword at it and said, "Go kill it."
      "What? Why?" I asked.
"Those webs won't disappear unless it dies." She said.
"Why do I have to do it though?" I asked her.
      "Because you're dragonborn!" She yelled.
"There is no way I'm dealing with anymore dream spiders!" I shouted.

As I said this the spider from the cave behind me started running towards me. My danger sense alerted me and I started running from it. I kept running in circles as it kept trying to bite my ass. Claire nearly killed me a few times while trying to slash it with her sword. Eventually the spider did jump on me. I grabbed it and threw it on the ground before it could bite me. Claire then stabbed it with her sword repeatedly until the spider stopped twitching. I crawled onto the ground and curled into a ball.

"I hate spiders, I hate spiders, I hate spiders..." I kept repeating.
"Don't be such a baby." Claire said.
"It tried to eat me!" I screamed.
"Get off the ground already. We have a job to do." She ordered me.

As I got up, I heard a rumbling sound. I looked down the tracks and saw a train coming. The train slowed down until it stopped in front of the tunnel. Chris stuck his head out the window and waved to us. Apparently he was driving the train.

"All aboard!" Chris yelled to us.
"What's with the train?" I asked him.
"You want to make it through the tunnel alive don't you?" He asked me.

Claire climbed the ladder onto the top of the train and I followed her. Once I reached the top, the train blew its whistle and started moving again. As It moved towards the tunnel I saw hundreds and hundreds of those giant brown spiders along the tunnel ways.

"Oh F***..." I said staring at all of them.
"Don't worry, we'll be fine." Claire said trying to build my confidence.
"Nope, I'm out of here." I said walking back towards the caboose.

Claire grabbed my hand and pulled me back. She then forced me into a battle stance as the train went into the tunnel. Claire started charging her lightning magic in her one hand to create a light source. I could now see thousands of spiders swarming around the tunnel. A few of them tried jumping at Claire, but she slashed them with her sword. A few of them jumped at me and I just slapped them away. My heart was racing and I couldn't really think clearly out of fear. 10 or more of them soon surrounded me in my confusion. Claire then jumped between me and them and started defending me. Each time one tried to jump at me she would rush in and slash it with her sword.

"Calm down, I won't let anything bad happen to you." Claire told me.
      "Okay." I said.

Seeing her slash spiders to pieces and saying that to me calmed me down some. I could still only punch and slap spiders though. I wasn't thinking about using any of my powers. Claire did a really awesome move with her lightning. She threw a ball of lightning at some spiders and it exploded into bunch of lightning bolts that killed many spiders.I looked at Claire and saw that she was getting exhausted. An extra big one snuck behind her an jumped at her. She turned around and tried to slash it, but she was too late. It held her down and started clawing at her (these spiders had claws).

This really angered me and I gave myself dragon hands. I gripped the spider's stomach with my claws and lifted it off of Claire. I ripped the spider's stomach open and threw it off of the train. Claires blood seemed to have attracted hundreds of other spiders who were previously docile. I tried to get Claire back up, but she could barely move. As the spiders moved closer I realized it was up to me to protect her this time.

I stood above Claire and created a shield of fire around us. It burned every spider that touched it, but they were starting to overpower it. I was really starting to struggle to keep the shield up. Claire then started to wake up a little.

      "Release your fury..." She said.
      "What?" I asked confused.
"Do it." She said before passing out again.

I really started to get angrier at this point and sort of understood what she meant. My whole body started glowing with a purple energy and my fire shield grew more poweful. I slowly let this power build up inside me. When it was full, I let out a powerful draconic roar and shot the flames out in both directions. I felt much more calm and relaxed after releasing my fury. Unfortunately this was a really long tunnel and there was another wave of spiders coming. I looked down at Claire to see how she was doing. She was more awake now and she took a drink of what looked like a healing potion. Her cuts started to heal and she sat up. She wasn't capable of standing anymore though, so I still had to fight alone.

I suddenly remembered Neji from Naruto using the 16 triagrams 128 palm thing on over a hundred spiders. I decided to mimic this with my fire element. I charged fire magic into my hands and got into the stance. All of the spiders started swarming in towards me. I rappidly hit all of them with my fire hands while circling around Claire. My main goal until we got out of the tunnel was to protect her. A bunch of them then jumped at me from all angles. I spun around and created a wave of fire in all directions to kill them. After all of this the train finally exited the tunnel. After getting a good distance away from the tunnel, Chris stopped the train.

I carried Claire on my back and climbed down the ladder. I walked to the front of the train to see what all of this trouble was worth. In the distance from the mountain I could see a bunch of floating islands. They were hidden in the clouds and had a bunch of dragons flying around them. I got too excited after this and woke up.

      Flying Over Stormreach

A pretty short lucid dream (because I forgot most of it). I had just grown dragon wings and was flying above the ocean. I was flying towards Stormreach's harbor off in the distance. I flew over the city and was amazed by it. Some general guy then started yelling at me something about having to go one a mission with a bunch of other soldiers. I just ignored him and went looking for some friends to quest with instead. I flew over a gate and landed in a street. I saw a horse carriage running full speed down the street at some guy who wasn't paying attention. For some reason I recognized this guy as Colton/Coolb3rt. I jumped in and grabbed Colton. I used my shadow magic to turn both of us into shadows so that we would phase through the carriage. I know a lot more happened in this dream, but I just can't seem to remember.

      A Lucid Contract

I was in a school like place called the "Lucid Academy". I most likely became lucid due to the name of the place. For the most part it looked like a normal highschool, but you would see kids practicing magic, summoning things, and flying all over the place. I was walking down the hall and talking to Chris about something before we bumped into some girl. She looked completely confused about everything that was happening.

"Where am I? What's happening here?" She asked.
      "You're dreaming." I told her.
      "I am?"
"This is the Lucid Academy." Chris told her.
"I don't want to lucid dream!" She yelled.
"What? Why wouldn't you want to lucid dream?" Chris asked.
      "Because it's scary!" She said.
"Okay, let's get this straight. In a lucid dream you can do ANYTHING you want!" I said.
"Yeah, it's really fun." Chris said.

Chris then summoned a large piece of paper. He mentioned something about signing a "lucid contract" and training the girl. Oddly he wasn't going to sign it, but wanted me and the girl to sign it. He handed me the blank paper and a marker to sign. I handed it back to Chris and he examined it as if he was checking to see if it was legitimate. I watched the girl write her name on it. It was hard for me to read, but I think it was either Carly or Molly written on it. She handed it back to Chris and he examined it again.

"Alright, it's official! You will make her become lucid every night from now on." Chris said.
      "Wait what?" I asked confused.
"Oh you didn't know?" Chris asked me.
There was a long pause before I asked the girl, "So are you lucid yet?"

She just sat there motionless wiith a blank expressionless stare. I waved my hand in front of her face to try to get her attention. With no response I could only assume she woke up or something.

"I don't do that everytime I wake up do I?" I asked Chris.

He laughed, but didn't give me a clear response. I spent the last minute of the dream trying to get the girl's attention.

      DreamLucidAwake

I used my daydream awareness technique again before bed. I didn't feel like daydreaming about anything in particular. I just wanted to focus on the idea of becoming lucid.

      Lucid Fragment

I was in Loudonville standing behind my grandmother's house. I'm not sure but I think I was Claire or seeing things through her eyes in this dream. I was trying to hide from an army of little kids who wanted to eat me. They found me and they charged at me. I tried shooting them with an LMG I had been carrying, but it was out of ammo. So I picked up a gold sledge hammer leaning against the house. I swung it around in a circle hitting all of the kids around me. It was quite comical until I woke up.

      Tooth Ache

This dream started out with me in my grandmother's house (Mansfield). It was a flase awakening and I was lying in the bedroom. I got up and put my clothes on for the day. I walked towards the kitchen to get some breakfast. I got a really strange feeling in my one tooth though as I walked to the kitchen. It then started hurting really bad. I poked it and felt it with my tounge. It hurt even more and tasted like bood, so I figured it was about to fall out. I started panicking because I don't think you're supposed to lose adult teeth. I poked at it with my finger and really knocked it lose. My mouth suddenly started to fill with blood. I ran into the bathroom and spit it out into the toilet. I started questioning why I had a bad tooth and how I could fix it. I became lucid after remembering that I had a similar dream a few days ago.

I still wasn't sure how I was going to fix my tooth. After spitting more blood out I decided to call out to my sister for help.

"Miki...Miki...Miki..." I moaned holding my head over the toilet.

I didn't get any response from her. It seemed like she just decided to leave. So I decided to rely on a dream guide.

"Claire!" I shouted to bring her to me.
"What?" She said walking into the bathroom.
I turned around to face her and said, "Look at this tooth ache!"
"So?" She said thinking it was normal.
I then spat out more blood onto the floor and yelled, "This isn't normal! Fix it!"
      "Alright, follow me." She said.

I followed her outside of the house. Even though I had just woken up, it was oddly night time. We walked across the street into a field. We were walking towards a huge statue. I think it was the head of the Statue of Liberty half burried in the ground. I then stopped walking and thought about my real life tooth. I thought the tooth pain in my dream could be related to my real life tooth. If so then it would be a good idea to wake up and check on it. I grabbed the fabric of my dream with my hand (if that makes sense) and started pulling on it. I pulled and twisted it until it ripped open. I let myself fall into the void and woke up.

When I woke up my tooth was completely fine. That made me a little upset that I woke up for no reason. I got up to get a class of water and then sat there for a while using my daydream technique.

      Rope Swinging

Kind of forgot some of this dream because I put off writing it. I was standing on a platform built around the top of a very tall tree. I tried to see how far from the bottom I was, but there was only a thick fog below me. I was standing there with my cat. My cat looked as if he was about to jump off of the platform.

"No kitty! No kitty! No kitty!" I yelled.

He jumped off and I looked down to see had jumped to another platform. As high as it was, it looked like it should have killed him.
I became lucid after thinking about how the fall should have killed him. I saw ropes hanging from the tree branches and decided to play with those. I ran foward, grabbed a rope, and swung towards another platform. To reach the next platform I had to curve around the tree with the rope. Oddly when I did this I had a quick gust of hot air blow at me for a few seconds. After I landed on the next platform there were no others to swing to. I ran and swung on the last rope anways. After I let go of the rope I fell far through the fog until I hit the ground. I did a roll when I landed so I wouldn't break my legs or anything. More happened after this, but I forgot it.

      Improved Teleportation

I can't remember the moment I became lucid. I was standing in my grandmother's living room (Mansfield) in the middle of the night. Oddly everyone us up and walking around even though it was the middle of the night. I decided I would try teleporting somewhere. I don't like walking around the dream world at night or places that seem very normal to me. I had a little bit of a new idea on how I would teleport this time.

I swiped my hand down to create a rift in the wall above the couch. I jumped off the couch and dived into the portal. I fell and crashed into the void like I was expecting. Now that I was in the void and the previous dream scene was erased, it would be easier for me to teleport to a new one. I swung my arms out in a tearing motion to rip a hole in the void while thinking of a place full of snow. A rift opened up and I could see a bunch of snow through it. I stepped through the portal and I was in the middle of a forest covered in snow and ice. I also saw Chris just standing there watching the snow. The place was amazing, but it felt too cold there and I wanted to leave. I waved goodbye to Chris and walked back through the portal into the void.

I did the same thing as before when I was in the void, except I thought about the summer and the beach. I saw sand, water, and the sun materialize as I opened the portal. When the image was complete I walked through the portal. Unfortunately the exit portal was a little high up in the air and I fell out of it. I hit the ground pretty hard, but I at least landed on sand. After groaning in pain and complaining to myself I got up and looked at my surroundings. I was on a beautiful island with a bunch of trees and flowers behind me. I looked back to the beach and saw someone just lying there on the beach. As I walked towards her I realized she was Claire. I wanted to ask her a few questions, but she was sleeping. I poked her belly a few times to try to wake here up. I then decided that waking her up would be like waking an angry bear. I sat next to her and waited for her to wake up, but she never did. I looked around a little bit and admired this new world. One odd thing I saw though was the Statue of Liberty's head burried in the ground again. The dream faded away as I waited.

      In a Painting

It was a false awakening and I was actually in my own room for once. I was packing my bags for yet another road trip. As I was packing I saw a picture on my wall. It was a picture of the Statue of Liberty. I walked over to it and stared at it for a moment. I don't have a picture of the Statue of Liberty on my wall. I became lucid after realizing that the statue was in the previous dreams. It meant that this one was likely a dream too.

For some reason I felt like I should go into the painting. I pushed my hand through the picture. It looked and felt like I had stuck my hand into a bucket of water. After pushing my whole arm into it, I was sucked into the painting. Next thing I know, I'm falling high above the buildings of New York City. I then felt an energy above me and turned towards the sky. Two seperate portals had opened in the sky. Out of one fell Chris, and out of the other fell Claire.

"What the hell are you guys doing?!" I asked them.
"Trying to save you!" Chris said.
"You're doing a pretty bad job at it!" I yelled at him.
"There wasn't much time to plan!" he yelled back.
"Shut up and morph into a dragon already!" Claire yelled.

I transformed into a full dragon real easy and spread out my wings. Claire grabbed onto my back and I grabbed Chris with my four legs. I was about to crash into a skyscraper, but Claire grabbed my horns and steered me to the right. I was about to hit another building, so she steered me to the left just barely missing two buildings. I nearly lost my grip of Chris and was barely holding onto him anymore.

"You guys are too heavy" I yelled.

Claire got mad at me and purposely steered me into the side of a building. That was a painful hit on the head.

I growled at her and asked, "What the hell was that for?"
"Watch what you say." Claire said.
"This too much weight for me to carry!" I yelled back.
"Maybe you just need to build some muscle" She said.
      "Look out!" Chris yelled.

I looked back in front of me and saw the Statue of Liberty. I crashed into the crown thingy on it and gripped it with my claws. I grabbed Chris with my tail and and Claire held onto my shoulders. After some struggling I finally pulled all of us up. All of that craziness destabilized my dream and I woke up like 5 seconds later.
