    1. Mission to Mars, College Chaos

      Fragment: I am eating Pizza. Not trying to feed some zombie mutant form or anything. Just eating pizza. And I am actually eating a sane amount rather than last time.

      I am watching a science fiction movie about the first manned mission to mars. It is a partnership between Nasa, China and the European space agency.
      The first thing that I can recall seeing is the ship. It is huge by 'realistic' standards, perhaps 40m wide by 20m high by 100m long. The European space agencies worked to build the crew housing as well as find the crew members. China was responsible for the 'light speed engines'. I don't think they could go light speed necessarily, but they were engines that made the ship go very fast. Then attached to the outside were the engines that Nasa built designed for landing the ship on Mars. They were not as fast but they worked better when near planets, because supposedly the Chinese engines were affected by planet's gravity and could explode.
      The ship is docked to the ISS, and there are two space shuttles there as well. The movie goes into some characters that are getting ready to board the ship, such as the captain. I think in total, about 10 people will be going to Mars.
      We then see another character. A woman who was chosen to go, but declined as she had the feeling that something would go wrong. She was at home (somewhere in rural England) where there was a strong thunderstorm rolling through. She is with her daughter, who looks a lot like her, though is about two. She is talking on the phone with the people at the space agency saying that there is one last shuttle going up tomorrow and that if she wants to go, she still can. The woman says 'No' that she would rather take care of her daughter than be a part of history.
      Cut back to outer space. Mars is coming in range to go to. But now here is the funny part. Mars comes REALLY close to earth. I mean like the planet was probably only a few thousand miles over the surface at its lowest point. I then carries on past earth. Supposedly the mission was supposed to 'chase' Mars after it passed earth. So the astronauts wait a few days.
      So the big day comes. Time to fire the engines and chase down Mars. Right before the engines fire, we see that the crew checks in with the space agency. We see that something small on the ship has just detached from near the engines. There is a shot of the captain turning on the engines.
      The Chinese engine fires, but only the one on the left. The one on the right seems to be malfunctioning, and spitting out fuel. The ship begins to spin violently. They try to turn on the Nasa engine to bring it into balance, but the Chinese engine is much more powerful. The ship begins to spiral down to earth, then the Chinese engine goes offline because it is too close to the earth's gravity. Using the Nasa engines, they are able to stabilize the ship before it falls into the atmosphere. The space agencies goes into emergency mode to fly up and fix the engine before Mars is out of range.


      IWL, I'm going to college in the fall.

      So I am going to my first day at college. The campus feels much more built up than it is IWL. I meet my roommate who has long curly hair and seems like a nice guy.

      I forget a great deal of what happened, but I recall this part where everyone is drawing with sidewalk chalk. There are some very talented artists present. I try to draw a character but for some reason he continually becomes very small. I scratch him out and try to draw the character huge, like 10 feet high, but I look away then look back and my drawing is tiny again.
    2. Writing For High School

      I had pretty good recall this night and have only slight gaps in my memory. Just another normal dream, the only strange thing about it was it's unusual focus on the test theme, my dreams tend to be less consistent.

      In my dream I was back in high school. I was going to have to take several subject’s final tests that week, and the first was on Monday. I had to present a story for it, with the condition that it should place emphasis on the noises heard during the story.

      As I start to write the story I enter it, and live it as I write it. In this story there was a newlywed couple inside a dark cave. I took them out because of some problems related to ants. When we got out we found that the cave was inside a volcano, and it became active. In my story I wrote that the lava looked real, and not fake like in some movies, but my vision in the dream was that of fake looking lava. It looked sort of like bubbling ketchup, a very bright and shiny red.

      Looking around I saw that we were on a sandy desert. It was a sunny day and we had to make our way across the desert trying to avoid an evil man that was patrolling back and forth.

      A few days later I had to take the test. I was nervous because I couldn't use my story for some reason, and once in the test I got called to the blackboard to make an exercise (This was weird because the exercise was not part of the exam)
      I decided to write the story for my exam about my own experiences on the blackboard once I got back to my seat. Since the story was supposed to put emphasis on sounds I decided to highlight the sound of the chalk. I had to switch blackboards later on. The first one was to the right of the class, while the second one was in the front.

      By the time I changed blackboards my chalk was very worn down and couldn't write on the blackboard. All it did was displace dust on it, making the letters slightly visible because that part was cleaner by comparison. I had to get a new longer one, but even so I was writing in a place I shouldn't because the examiner (a female teacher) said something about having to place the blackboard now.

      Suddenly a male teacher entered the room and said I couldn't take the exam because I had gone over the three day limit of possible absences to the subject. He showed us in the class computer that I had two subjects with "lost evaluations" and two with "reduced evaluations" He told me that if I wanted it to get straightened out I best go see the teacher in charge of it.

      I felt nervous and complained that thanks to being called to the chalkboard I haven't had time to even begin the exam yet and with this I wouldn't have time to finish it, but it was no use.
      I went through the corridor (which was pretty much the same as the corridor of my real high school) and reached another classroom. The male teacher followed me and led me to talk to V, a real teacher in my high school who died a couple of years after I left it in real life.

    3. Cliff Dream Control Class

      This dream took place outside in the daytime, with a light blue sky, unlike most of my other dreams which were inside. The location was a slightly-rounded, clay-coloured cliff wall that I guessed was about thirty feet wide, and this cliff was attached to another wall, a bit taller and much longer in length, but consisting of the same saturated clay tone. The surface of the rounded cliff reminded me of flaky chalk or thin layers of stone (I could see some of the layers coming off and beginning to separate from the rest of the cliff). The other one looked like ordinary rock with a slightly chalk-like appearance to it. There was a rounded entrance, well carved-out, into the face of this long cliff, for students to come and go. The area was like a classroom, and I was the teacher; my job was to teach dream control to enrolled students.

      I was hanging from the top of the rounded cliff, suspended against the side by a rope. The rope was held by a very heavy rock at the top of the cliff, and it was was made of that pale yellow straw-like material, and was probably no thicker than an index finger. I wasn't worried about it snapping, though, because my feet had found purchase on a piece of rock that stuck out a few inches from the rest of the cliff. It took some of my weight off the rope. Although I couldn't see them from my viewpoint, I knew my students were on top of this cliff, listening to what I was saying.

      "The first thing about dream control," I said, "is that you have to be 100% certain. If you aren't, the dream won't act in your favour."

      I then started pulling away at the shedding pieces of rock that the cliff was shedding, breaking them away and letting them fall to the ground below me. I noticed the textures and how much the cliff really looked like hardened chalk; it even had a slight amount of dust over it. I casually looked down briefly during this, however, and the pieces of cliff I'd taken off were nowhere in sight. After all, the cliff was so high up that it simply descended into white, blue-tinged clouds not twenty feet below where I was suspended. I was in absolutely no fear of falling or heights, though.

      After a few moments of pulling a few layers of cliff off, from the outside of my peripheral vision I grabbed a stack of fifteen or so papers. I'm honestly not sure where these papers were from, because before when I was scanning the cliff, I didn't see any papers. Regardless, I looked briefly at them and saw that each one was white printer paper with neat, professional typing on it. In the upper-left region of each paper was a line and a messy scrawl of either a date or a mark (I can't remember which) in thicker-than-normal red pen, almost like marker. It didn't show through the other side of the paper though. I looked up to the top of the cliff, still unable to see my students, and held it up so they could take the papers from me.

      I sat there for maybe a minute before starting to panic slightly. Had they left me here?

      Then I saw a hand reach over and miss the papers, pull back, then get ahold of them. I let go and the student took them. I then looked to the right of where I was, at the longer cliff wall consisting of a more rock-like appearance, and pushed off the cliff I was on, floating over to the flat surface sticking out of the wall (where I could stand). I landed a few feet to the left of the rounded entranceway, and saw students who I could not identify starting to walk out. I was leaving, probably because I wasn't the teacher for this class. However, as I walked towards the exit and ended up in front of it, I saw one student coming out whom I recognized; she was from grade 11 at my school.

      For some reason, I believed that she was leaving this class, even though she was entering the area and not leaving it. I said, "wait," and turned around to look out into the sky. In front of me was a new piece of rock; it was super flat on top but again in the same clay tone as the other cliffs! On the edge of it was a sheet of paper; it belonged to that girl. I must have dropped it.

      The distance between the entrance and the piece of floating rock wasn't more than a foot, so I simply walked onto the rock, and walked back. It didn't sink down when I stepped on it. I handed the paper to the girl and she continued walking over to the rounded cliff, but I didn't look back.
