      The Cruise

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

      I´m on a cruise in the caribbean sea. All my friends are there, german and american. We´re docking and go shopping in a big mall. I meet a guy I really dislike and beat him up. We return to the cruise ship, which now looks like a pirate ship, wooden and really big. I find out it has 3 floors. The machine room, the living quarters and a restaurant under the blue sky. I ask a guy how deep the water is and he answers: 44m/144ft. I look down and see a book laying on the ground but I forget about it quickly. I find out one of my friends cooperated with the FBI and I´m getting thrown off the ship.
      I wake up on the beach, stand up and decide to go find the ship. I meet two of my american friends, they tell me the hole story and I start swearing in english
      (from that moment on the hole dream is in english). I find my way back to the ship, and go straight to the captain´s room. It´s Chow from "The Hangover" and he does his weird laugh...I wake up.

      Basic Task i - Hunt for wild turkey using 17th century weapons. COMPLETED! (Kind of. I hunted a tofu-turkey.)

      Advanced Task i - Journey to Purgatory and bring back a soul with you (All Soul's Day on November 2nd) Not Completed

      Advanced Task ii - Spell the word November backwards and write it down (R-E-B-M-E-V-O-N) COMPLETED!




      Method: V-WILD

      I was standing on a small beach off the coast of the Caribbean Sea with a Cutlass in my hand. Before I went to bed, I learned that Pirate's used cutlasses in the 17th and 18th century. The water was a vivid, turquoise-blue and I could see several dolphins in the distance. Behind me was a vast area of woodlands. My goal (as a vegetarian) was the find a wild tofu-turkey, hunt it down, and then give it to a Julia Childs to cook for me.

      I started walking through the woods trying to find one. It was completely silent, I couldn't hear anything. I had no idea what a wild tofu-turkey would look like so I was kind of walking around pointlessly. I stepped on something gooey. It was a huge glob of tofu. I went down to pick it up when something landed on my back. It was making high pitched-turkey noises. I tried to grab it off my back but I couldn't feel it! It's claws were hanging on tight! It suddenly let go and fell to the ground, staring at me. It looked exactly like a real turkey, but instead of eyes, they were tofu blocks. It wasn't even moving, just staring at me. It looked possessed. I got my cutlass and tried to hit it. Right before my blade made contact with the tofu-turkey it disappeared into thin air! I walked around trying to find it for another minute when I saw something like this in a tree:



      The owl was holding the tofu-turkey in it's beak! It flew down to me and I killed the tofu-turkey. It flew away.

      I changed the dream scene to the kitchen in my house with the tofu-turkey in my hand. I put it on the counter. I got out my phone and called Julia Childs. She told me she would be there any minute. The doorbell rang and there she was! She asked my what she was cooking for me today. I told her a tofu-turkey and she frowned. She told me she was only going to do it for me because I was her favorite. She had on this huge trench coat and pulled like ten ingredients out in one swipe. She looked up at me and said:

      “The only time to eat diet food is while you're waiting for the steak to cook but your a vegetarian so I guess that won't work out. You disgust me."

      I just smiled and said Okay. All of a sudden a huge plate of tofu-turkey appeared and I took a bite. It tasted like real turkey. She looked at my and started to laugh like a maniac. She told me she tricked me and I was eating real turkey. Then she disappeared. Julia Childs was a bitch.

      I could not remember what the first advanced task was but I did remember to spell November backwards and write it down. It took me several tries but I did it pretty easily. I woke myself up to go see what the first advanced task was but I could fall back asleep! Anyway three tasks down, one to go!

    3. Sing Dirty Nina

      I enter a lucid dream and I'm flying through darkness. I am determined to have an enjoyable experience so as I fly around I begin trying verbal commands like, "sun come up" or "daylight now". But none of them work, so I starting singing. I make up a cute little song and add in phrases involving sunrises and with feeling I sing, "let the sun come up". I'm basically just using verbal phrases in song form. My subconscious likes it. Perhaps he is grateful for my creative attempt, and the fact that I am asking, instead of forcing. Forcing never works with the sub.

      Now I'm flying in bright daylight over an icy ocean of arctic blue glacial waters. I change the song and start singing about warm Caribbean waters, and suddenly the glacier breaks apart and the sea froths and foams and dark debris flies everywhere. This was a scene from some horrible flood. But it was only a changeover. After a few seconds pass, the water is turquoise like the Caribbean and there are beaches formed from the glacial ice. It is so beautiful and amazing just flying through this scene and watching these transitions occur as I sing. My subconscious seems ready to give me anything I ask for. I sing for a beautiful lagoon, and immediately I watch as the sandstone is carved from a cliffside, the debris shooting straight into the air and into nonexistence. The water surges up and over the cliff, and when it recedes there is a beautiful lagoon with waterfalls flowing into it. Plants, trees, and flowers spring up around it. I just float in the air, and watch this amazing site, ready to plunge into the warm waters. But my alarm wakes me up. Snooze.

      I re-enter a lucid dream, but it's different. I'm in some sort of mall, but this mall has the most beautiful interior decorating I've ever seen. Each store has displays set up that are so intricately beautiful. They use color and light to make the customer's eye dance around the store. I had barely a moment to state in awe at this scene, when...again alarm goes off...snooze.

      I wanted so badly to get back to that store in the mall to take a mental picture of the gorgeous display, but instead I'm in a different place. Or a different time. It's a mall...but there's only western stuff...and it looks like the old west. I'm dressed up as a cowboy, my hair is hidden and tucked up under my hat. The people tending the store in this mall don't look too pleased to see me so I say, "I'll see you boys later," then I make a bull sound, and go charging off toward a wooden wall, head first. Apparently I don't make a very good bull, because I just hit the wall hard and fall to the ground.

      My head is aching but I'm alright, I'm more bothered that my boots got all dusty, so I wipe 'em off a bit. Two large men walk over to me, I see they're carrying rifles. The light is behind them so their faces are in shadow but I can see one has long greasy hair and the other is bald. "Howdy," I say, "I'm Dirty Nina." and I take off my hat and let my hair fall down. "You boys are mighty good looking," I say, trying to hide the sarcasm. The bald man walks closer and leans toward me. I can see that he has bandages over his eyes and he's looking really angry..."Well that's just fine little missy, but we got a debt to settle." He smiles, and I see a nasty toothless grin. The dust begins to settle and I need a plan, I see the spurs on my boots glinting out of the corner of my eye...but just then...my alarm goes off. And I have to get up or I'll be late for work.

      Very frustrating, this dream was going to be mighty awesome.
    4. Purse Throwing Contest & Paris

      Dream 1: Paris

      I am riding my bicycle in the area I lived as a kid. It was a boring ride and I thought how I could be doing other things. I saw a vision of being in a part of France. I thought this at least looked promising and chose it and then was there. Me and some DC friends walked around. I walked away from them up to a theater looking place and a guy came out and told me how we could walk around and my friend could be safe. A force-field could be extended from the theater and balled around my friend but he couldn’t go too far like that. The guy was waiting for me to answer him so I looked off in the distance to my right before answering only to look back and see that he had vanished. I realized he was a DC and taking your attention from them they vanish; no prob. I ran off to my buddies who were still there. They were by a wide river like the Seine of Paris looking around and a couple were looking at a map or something. In the distance over some buildings I saw a tower and a little something that looked like the Eiffel tower but a lot shorter.
      We looked around and found a sandwich shop. You made sandwiches yourself like a salad bar. I made an egg omelet sandwich [hey this is actually a great idea]. The guy behind me was a local and was going crazy with all the different condiments he was putting on his huge submarine-like sandwich. He showed me all the things and ways to put is all on a “fixin” like this.

      The dream ended but I refused to wake up and…

      Dream 2: Purse Throwing Contest

      I was in a Caribbean country and the locals were betting on the hotly contested local favorite pocketbook throwing contest! I saw a tall skinny guy throw a purse at this big white painted board and then go pick it up, he had just finished the round. Then they all set their bets again and the pocketbooks started to be thrown one at a time, each guy trying to hit this big white painted piece of plywood with black numbers painted on the top from 100 to 170. The numbers were out of order making the game harder. The guy I was watching threw a big pocketbook that was white with yellow, red, and green floral patterns on it, it looked so out of place in his hands. He hit 120 which was right next to the 170 and he and his supporters all went “OH!” and he slumped down with a smile disappointed, while his opponents and their supporters laughed.

      Notes:
      I seem to be more motivated to record my dreams when I'm in school. Holidays and weekends, less so.
      Last night, I dreamed that I was on a balcony, overlooking some sort of Caribbean-style ocean, and the time appeared to be twilight. The ocean water was mint green and blue, getting darker as it radiated out towards the horizon. I knew the balcony was right where the ocean water hit the beach; if I were to look down, I would see the sand.

      There was a square night table, probably only a foot high at most, which was made out of light wood, like oak. It wasn't polished and the edges were still sharp as if it hadn't been sanded down. It was basically slabs of wood that were shaped like a small table, but in my mind (at the time, anyways) it was normal. There was one large drawer in the front of it with a basic round handle, also made of unpolished wood. I pulled it out and saw a closed laptop. It was black with thin, white rubber grips on the sides, and a silver top. There was no logo on top, so I don't know what brand or type of laptop it was.

      I put it on the short table, ignoring the fact that even though the drawer was still way open, I was sitting right in front of the table as if nothing was there. I didn't close the drawer at all, but instead just sat in front of the table and opened the laptop lid. There was no sliding mechanism; I just pulled it open, and immediately it opened to an iPhoto-like program, which definitely had an Apple-like air to it. The background was dark gray, and there was a cover flow sort of picture arrangement. At that moment, my mother had just appeared beside me, so I nudged over and let her look through them.

      She clicked on one photo which enlarged it, and brought the cover flow to the bottom of the screen, making it smaller. It was a picture of her ex-boyfriend.

      "Look!" she said, somewhat excited.

      "Mom," I told her sternly. My mom's ex-boyfriend was an abusive jerk, and I knew this even in the dream.

      She moved onto the next photograph, this time one with the two of them together, making funny faces.

      "Mom! I don't want you looking through these fucking pictures of him on the computer." The word choice sounded very controlling, but it didn't occur to me in the dream that there was anything wrong with it.

      She clicked on another photo, and I didn't get too good of a look at it; I simply looked at her again and pushed her a bit. "Mom! Did you hear what I fucking said? Delete them!"

      That's all I remember.
