I had a dream last night that I was volunteering at a downtown festival in the city where I live. Unlike the dreams I had the night before, this was not the fall festival that I help to put on. I think this was some type of music festival. I know I was just a volunteer doing what I was asked to do rather than helping to run the event like I do for the fall festival. This dream took place in a time where we were not dealing with COVID and things like masking and social distancing. The time this dream was set in seemed more normal. When the dream started, me and my girlfriend were checking in at volunteer registration. We each got a yellow shirt that we changed into and a drawstring bag with some other goodies. My girlfriend had signed-up to help in the Kid Zone and not long after we had registered, some came to her and offered to give her a ride to the Kid Zone in her golf cart. I told her I would try to stop by and check on her when I had a break later on. She picked up her phone and pointed to it with her other hand which I knew meant for me to stay in touch by texting her periodically. As my girlfriend was being driven away, the girl that had checked us in came up to me and asked if I would be willing to help with getting some sand bags. When I hesitated, she told me they were not that heavy and they just needed someone to ride over to a warehouse and help load them on the truck. When I told her that was fine, she pointed to an old While GMC Half Ton truck parked nearby and told me to go on out to it and that Kim would be there soon and would drive it and tell me what I needed to do. She said when I got back and got the sandbags unloaded to see her at they would probably be ready to have my start checking ID’s then. I thanked her and then walked towards the truck. It was the same truck that I had in my last dream the night before. An old truck the city owns and loans every year during the fall festival. I have both driven and ridden in it may times. When I got to the truck and opened the passenger side door, the interior was just like the truck that they loan us for the fall festival. It had a well worn brown vinyl bench seat and dash with brown carpet on the floor with a stick shift in the middle. I went ahead and got in the passenger seat of the truck and closed the door. Since it was a nice day, I immediately rolled down my window to let some fresh air into the cab. I started looking around to see if I could figure out who Kim was and wondered how much longer until he would get here and we could go to get the sandbags. After a few minutes, a chucky girl with shoulder length dark blonde hair wearing a yellow volunteer shirt showed-up at the window and asked me if I was Kim. I told her I was not but was waiting for him. She asked if I was helping with getting sandbags and when I said yes, she said she had been asked to help too. She then opened the passenger side door and kind of blushed and said she kind of hated to ask, but would I be willing to scoot over. I went ahead and moved on over to the middle and let her have the window since I figured since she may not feel comfortable riding between two older men she didn’t know. While we waiting in the truck for Kim, the girl and I talked. She told me her name was Tiffany and she was 21 and wrapping up her junior year of college. Like me, she had never volunteered at this event before, but needed some community service hours and though this would be a good way to earn some while also getting to enjoy some music. While Tiffany and I continued to carry on a conversation while we waited in the truck for Kim, a big lady with shoulder length bleached blond hair and a blue shirt who I had kept seeing walking around with a clipboard approached the passenger side window to talk to Tiffany and I. She asked us if we were the ones helping with sandbags and we both said yes. She told us she was Kim and thanked us for helping her. She told us she had a few more things she had to get sorted out and then she would be ready to drive us to get the sandbags. I asked her if there was anything I could help her with and she said for us to just both sit tight so we would be ready to go as soon as she got done. As Kim walked away, both Tiffany and I were looking at each other with a WTF type of look. We had both expected Kim to be a fit man, not an out of shape looking lady in her late 40’s or early 50’s. We both thought she seemed a little scatterbrained and we both commented to each other about it was we saw her walking around like a headless chicken. After seeing Kim walk around and talk to different people for a while longer, I saw her coming towards us with some bottled water and granola bars. She reached through the window and handed them to me and Tiffany and then told us she needed to get the truck keys and would be right back out. While I was sipping on the bottle of water, I saw Kim walking in front of the truck and then opening the driver side door and sitting down on my other side. The truck cab was big enough that I had plenty of room and personal space even though Kim was big and Tiffany was a few pounds over wight. After spending a minute or two playing with the key, the accelerator, and the stick shift between my legs Kim and the old truck running and we were on our way to the warehouse. One the drive to the warehouse, Kim would start a conversation with me and Tiffany and then her phone would ring and she would take the call. It was kind of scary riding in the truck because Kim would get distracted while on the phone and would start drifting into other lanes. A few times, other vehicles had to honk at her to get her attention. I was glad when we finally got there. Once Kim had to truck backed up to the loading dock, we all got out and then Kim fished for some keys and opened a bay door to the storage bay where all of the sandbags were. At first, she helped me and Tiffany move them to the truck, but then her phone rang and she walked away to take the call while me and Tiffany moved most of the sandbags to the truck without her help. Eventually, Kim walked over to us and told us we had loaded enough sandbags and for us to get back to the truck. When we got to the passenger side door, I opened it up and stood aside hoping Tiffany would get the hint and ride in the middle going back. Her face blushed again and she asked if I minded. I go ahead and get in the middle and give Tiffany the window seat away from Kim. After she is in and closes her door, she blushes again and says thank you to me. I can see Kim is still pacing around in the parking lot talking on her phone. Tiffany and I are both looking at each other in disbelief of how disorganized and scatterbrained Kim is. We both dread the drive back knowing it could get dicey if she is taking on her phone again. Eventually, Kim stops talking on her phone and closes up the warehouse and then comes back to the truck. After she has climbed into the driver seat, her phone starts ringing again and she looks at it and then asks us to excuse her as she get out of the truck to take the call and pace around the parking lot. Tiffany and I both just look at each other in disbelief when she does this to us. Eventually, Kim gets off the phone and back in the truck. As she is putting the key in the ignition, she tells us we need to run out to the airport so she can pick some things up. As she turns the key to start-up the truck, I am dreading the thought of having to ride on the interstate with Kim driving that truck. I look over at Tiffany and she has the same look of fear on her face. When I look back over at Kim, I notice she is having trouble getting the truck starting. Nothing is happening when she turns the key and pumps the accelerator. The only noise that is happening is an annoying buzzing sound. After a little longer of watching Kim try to get the truck started, I am woken-up from the dream by the buzzing of my alarm clock which I expect was causing the buzzing sound in the dream.
Morning of May 30, 2017. Tuesday. I have had dreams of slide projectors before, though this is another repeat of the water and electricity combination. I am in an unknown residence, though it is possibly implied to be our present home. If so, it seems in or near the kitchen. I have a slide projector (of an older design) that works in an unusual way. Water must be poured into it through the row of buttons. The buttons are similar to the setup of a portable cassette recorder and on the left side (when viewed from the front). Our oldest daughter and youngest son are present. I put some water into the slide projector but perhaps it was not enough. Apparently, this is supposed to make it less hot when plugged in. I hold the electrical cord and hold the plug near the outlet. Bizarrely, the cord quivers in my hand like the tail of a rattlesnake. (Electrical cords and snakes have had ambiguous associations in the past, similar to a scene from the 1950 Bugs Bunny “Rabbit of Seville” cartoon, though the first association as such came before I ever saw this cartoon, giving proof that others have had the same associations.) The prongs vibrate so quickly, the imagery blurs slightly. The plug actually speaks in a human voice, though with electronic effects. “Danger…danger,” it moans slowly. Our children look on curiously. “Dane-cher,” it says at times (rather than the soft g of “danger”), the realism of whether or not it is a human voice coming and going, sometimes becoming too fuzzy to hear as “danger”. I feel the cord vibrate and buzz in my hands. “Danger…danger,” it buzzes several more times, each time I hold it closer to the outlet. I explain to our children that it is actually speaking even though they seem to doubt it at times. Apparently, this is some sort of actual function relating to the slide projector, that is, when the plug is too close to an outlet (without enough water in the projector) it vibrates and “speaks” like this. This is a really bizarre but vivid dream, coming after another recent dream of water and electricity. There have been a number of dreams throughout my life where the water induction factor was illogically linked to waking symbolism. This seems to only happen when I change my sleep cycle. Water is sleep and electricity is wakefulness, though I consider getting an extra hour of sleep (that is, going to sleep an hour earlier) as a good thing, though apparently any change sends messages to the body in a biological sense. Still, the strange inconsistency and wrongness of dreams may actually be related to what I had written a number of times before - that non-lucid dreams are wrong in every way possible to manifest what is actually inherently correct in real life. That is, dreams test everything that is not right so that only that which is right (in reality) results (which of course is the opposite of the nature of precognitive threads). This is yet another reason (of hundreds) why “interpretation” (occultism-based but especially second-hand) is not really feasible, and additionally, in the next paragraph, is also revealed how someone else “interpreting” a dream could not possibly know the environmental factors of the dreamer’s. On another level, these recent dreams could perhaps relate to real electricity and a possible danger relating to water. There was a dream from 2015 involving a snake and at least two events where it was near an electrical cord. In that case, it turned out to be a warning about a frayed extension cord I had not consciously noticed. Also, in a very early set of dreams from 1965, there was a rattlesnake at the peak of a hill, which illogically rose up in the form of a mattress spring (my dream also having a mattress near a bridge in a landfill we were traveling through in a car) and turned out to be a warning (though which I was already somewhat aware of) about a real mattress spring poking through my mattress. In other cases though, snakes symbolize many different things depending on the dream (such as the human intestine regarding stomach problems or even an umbilical cord reference), though sometimes just a waking mechanism (to jolt the dreamer into waking) with no other meaning.
Last night - and this morning had many NL dreams .I did wbtb around 4am - 5 and settled down for WILD ... during the process of falling asleep and as I got closer to wake up time I had various dreams where there was a strong buzzing in the dream and a weird feeling in my face and body - almost like it was morphing or shape shifting - this is something I am coming to recognise now from a few dreams as a sign - I am starting to see it is my self becoming more and more aware of the fact i am dreaming - the buzzing and change of feeling are part of a new intenseness that accompanies the realisation of " I am dreaming " I think - when ones does become lucid. I am hopeful that I am starting to notice this more and more which will result in more Dilds and Wilds
Morning of February 27, 2015. Friday. This is a very vivid dream with a couple atypical features, including the loudest audio I have heard in a dream in years. I am in bed with my wife as in reality. However, the room is different to the left. It is an open area for the most part, but there are unidentifiable yet somehow “familiar” cases of some sort all in a row, front to back, possibly about ten of them. I am not even sure what they are meant to hold (DVDs?) or if they are empty or not. It is possible that they are empty and we may be in the process of cleaning them or letting them dry out from being cleaned or perhaps accidentally having gotten wet. Other than the covers being mostly opaque, they have narrow horizontally rectangular “windows” on the front. I think they are also all partly open, or at least a few of them are. I am not sure if they contain pages with sleeves or if so, how many. Again, they do not directly resemble anything I have seen in real life. My wife remains asleep the whole time I notice a sort of buzzing and shuffling sound which becomes louder over time. At least two of the cases have insects in them, but the type of insect is not fully certain (or there may be more than one type). One may be a large flying cockroach, or some type of beetle (or unnaturally large click beetle or Christmas beetle) or even a dragonfly. I get the impression that the insects have been trapped but are now able to find their way out. I am surprised by how loud their wings are in rubbing together. I get out of bed to see if I can find something to get them with but I end up running, as the sound I had been hearing is so loud, it is one of the loudest sounds I have ever perceived in a dream state. It goes from a seeming insect wing sound to an extraordinarily loud electrical buzzing that is almost like sizzling that I can begin to feel within my head - and it soon dominates the whole environment rather than having a seeming source. Insects do not bother me much in reality, but this one seems to have the potential to cause great harm. It does sound somewhat like a Christmas beetle but greatly amplified and expanded. I wake up fairly quickly but there is nothing that could have triggered the sound within my dream - the room is actually very quiet except for the very low-level white noise of the fans. Rather than being annoyed by my dream, I am actually intrigued - and amused - by how one can perceive something that loudly and clearly in the dream state. I start to wonder how the brain can generate that loud of an imaginary sound - perhaps related to cellular functions or processes. The last time I heard a sound of this particular nature was in a dream which was also involving my attempt to “run away from sizzling” - that had several layers of precognition involving 9-11 (long before it happened) and certain types of computer technology. (See link here.)
Morning of September 13, 2013. Friday. (Wife’s birthday.) I am much younger, perhaps twenty, living in an unfamiliar building. It may be that I share the building and have my own smaller apartment but it does seem like my own home. My main bedroom seems to be to the west of the main area (or largest rooms) of the building. To the north is a larger window, and near it, a desk upon which sits an electronic keyboard. My bed is to the left of the window. To the right of the window, against the east wall, is a large and supposedly ancient “two-storey” cage (the second tier was seemingly added much later as an extra precaution). This cage (big enough for perhaps two or three people to fit in) has two layers of “protection” around it; the thick window-screen-like wire (though a bit more sparse, about one inch by one inch) and outside of that, strong glass. Both “layers” have a sliding door on the left side of it. (I am not sure if the top tier of the hutch opens or has a door of any kind.) The layout and “memory” seems vaguely like our apartment from Gellibrand Street in Clayfield - Brisbane. The top level of the cage is mostly empty, but does have some fresh grass. I do not notice any animals. I look closely at the bottom level, through the glass, and note movement at times. I slide the glass partly open after I think I see some sort of ancient being’s face; somewhat human, but not quite. I am not fully lucid, but it is like I am trying to bring forth an “ancient magic”. With the glass sliding door open, I can now hear wind and a slight buzzing and humming. Time passes, and I notice miniature quetzals, perhaps as many as twenty, fluttering around in spirals, no bigger than a hummingbird. I also notice phosphorescent moths. Looking more closely, I begin to sense an intense “ancient” power, windy and electrical, emanating from the cage. There are various invisible insects of some kind, likely some sort of prehistoric tiny gnat, that form different magnetic “signatures” to set certain things in motion, as a sort of creative power. The hutch seems to hold all the mystery of time and space in one small area. The grass inside that section is like very old straw and there are also stones here and there. I listen to the wind and buzzing and feel the powerful currents of air through the wire section. Rather foolishly I open the wire and wooden sliding door, perhaps for the first time in hundreds of years. It was the only thing keeping in whatever was there for so long. I feel an intense energy and pleasure. I feel like I want to learn more (with some sort of ritual), but I do not have any sort of book and no poetry or incantation comes to mind that I think might be needed under the circumstances. Later, there are two (unknown) girls in a room east of where I had been. I follow what appears to be some of the “creatures” from the cage, especially the beautiful miniature quetzals. The girls look at me and smile. Another girl appears for a short time. I then discover I had a third daughter I had somehow never known about who is between the ages of my second-youngest son and oldest daughter. She is now about or almost fourteen. I am glad to finally meet her. I suppose she had been ill for a long time, or made sick by ordinary humans, so is only now “coming to life” to get out and do more. I do not remember my wife having an additional baby during the supposed “missing time” in my dream, but I feel very thankful. She and my wife are going out to the park, I think, with the rest of the family, and later - shopping. She is very happy to finally meet me. I notice that there are small stones under the skin of her face, on each side of her mouth and going down her chin to her neck, forming a DNA pattern, and do not think it to be unusual. It may be some sort of acne, I reason, or she may have the stones there as a personal tribal belief. Her name, strangely enough, is Mastermind (a game my wife played often at that age), a name that I do not see as too unusual, just a bit different than “average”. She also has two middle names like all our offspring, but I do not fully recall those. “They all got out,” I tell the two other girls, speaking of the birds and the moths. They look at me and then each other as if they are acknowledging a private joke with their facial expressions. I start to take them on a tour of the place. I point to what I first think are the magical birds flying about. I then see the butterflies/moths. However, it turns out to be the intricate attractive design of wallpaper instead. The girls giggle (either at my mistake or at the fact it magically did change before my eyes). I then look around and notice about seven miniature quetzals flying in a linear pattern. I reach out to touch them. I see that they are actually refrigerator magnets. The girls giggle again. I feel rather stupid as if I had seen a “UFO” and it turned out to be a flashlight. This is where they become “ancient trees” and wrap around me in “creaking” spirals, buzzing, and wind, “ancient” powerful humming from the “source”. My dream “resets”. A little later, I am back near the cage. I had been aware of an ancient (thousands of years old) “living face” attempting to make contact with me. After a time, I notice a young male of about twenty, who seems to have emerged from the cage as some sort of “wizard” within the prior twenty minutes of my dream or so. He stands across the room from me, closer to the entryway of the room to the south, looking about as if “new” to the modern world. Two other people show up (unknown or perhaps older classmates from years back). He starts to complain about “all those years” (while in the cage) that he had to listen to me playing the accordion (including when I was a child growing up) and organ (but mostly the accordion seems to give him grief). I then see that he has some sort of “magic wand” which is like an old branch (which I remember seeing in the hutch). The accordion has always been the most beautiful-sounding musical instrument to me, and so I then assume this person must be mentally ill and thus has no powers whatsoever, especially as he seems to be enjoying some badly out-of-tune (“detuned”) modern gated synth music. He raises his magic wand to “zap” me (and even “erase” me from existence - the thanks I get for letting him out I guess) - the loud/soft gating of the detuned synth (from a radio in another room or from one being carried by one of the two new people?) seems to literally be shutting his consciousness off and on for a time so that his mind is “gone” or in no stable, focused, or fixed state - and so I really do not expect anything at all to happen. In fact, I feel sorry for him, and I just stand there gawking in disbelief as this “magician” (now wearing a hospital gown) waves his wand around. It turns out that he was a mental patient from a psychiatric ward who had escaped from a local hospital and somehow crawled into our house from an open window and was still “playing magician” as he had been doing with other patients at the ward. The two newer people lead him away as he mumbles, swaying a bit, heading back to the hospital. I later am near the desk, thinking about putting the electronic keyboard away for a time and playing an accordion again for the first time in years, not even to record, just to enjoy in solitude (I sometimes played the accordion or an organ for hours in complete darkness many years ago - I learned later that, when I played during the day, older people sometimes came out to sit outside and listen during those times - even bringing a living room chair out to sit on). The two girls are “normal” again. I turn around and say, “I thought he came from the cage…at first”. My hands are “warping” into joined “flexible stones” (that seem to be “speaking” softly or humming with various changing tones and dynamics in a musical sense), feathers, multicolored exposed “bones” and “spines”/“quills” (seven or eight fingers on each hand, moving out almost like accordion bellows with a suggestion of being webbed) and DNA-like swirls whereby small comet-shaped glowing “orbs” rapidly “swim” around the DNA “map”/“grid” like a complex “network” of “trains” of light (an effect I have clearly seen on my arms and hands all my life - to the point where I would gaze at my arms and hands in the dark for fifteen or more minutes at a time - often, one would suddenly become brighter and then vanish completely, exactly like a dying ember - since I have never read about anyone else experiencing this - it is just one more puzzle for me). I breathe softly. The girl whispers, “you were in the cage (saying my name lovingly)…you are the source…” I then see that my own face is made of a mix of stone and “buzzing” wind and that there was an ancient mirror (of polished stone?) sitting in one corner of the cage - I had been (seemingly) looking at myself from outside the cage. Ehecatl-Quetzalcoatl seems the main force or character in this dream. Ehecatl is a pre-Columbian deity associated with the wind, who features in Aztec mythology and the mythologies of other cultures from the central Mexico region of Mesoamerica. He is most usually interpreted as the aspect of the Feathered Serpent deity (Quetzalcoatl in Aztec and other Nahua cultures) as a god of wind, and is therefore also known as Ehecatl-Quetzalcoatl. Ehecatl also figures prominently as one of the creator gods and culture heroes in the mythical creation accounts documented for pre-Columbian central Mexican cultures. Mexico inches closer to loan of Moctezuma’s headdress “Ehecatl” is very slightly like “Ethel”, my mother’s name. The two levels of the cage likely represented my conscious self (smaller, top level) over my dream self’s “mind”, while holding the power of the supraconscious (“source”). Wind, however, has been established in my dreams (including precognitive ones) as a reference to the passage of time. The combined failed magician/fool character in this particular dream (a character I have noted in past dreams) is commonly how I really “see” consensus at times and do not consider it a direct aspect or symbol of real mental health. Also, as I was growing up, watching magicians usually annoyed me (especially as I knew most aspects of all the tricks from various older books published in the 1800s as well as the obvious) - so I presently associate magicians with: lying, boredom, pointless actions, con men, and gossip. Another dream relating to the quetzal being associated with the “source”: Soul’s Union of the Quetzal and the Silver Sebright Bantam. This dream was one of the most vivid dreams of my lifetime, as well as being astoundingly multilayered and literally precise in a precognitive sense. This dream is also similar in the sense of mirror/self realization as a much older dream - Beyond the Martian Time Barrier. Other references to aspects of stones, “buzzing”, wind, and birds have been noted in previous entries and I will update them as I get to them. These stones are like “power objects” in the supposed Nahua sense and relative to the belief of objects in the environment influencing human behavior. When these things (usually stones, in one, an owl statue) appear in dreams, they are extremely heavy, create a sort of “buzz” or “hum” and sometimes seem to manifest wind as a magnetic force of some sort, a possible additional play on magnet and magic.

7 Tornados I was looking out of the windows of an office building. I showed someone some strange looking clouds with a circular pattern in them. I knew a storm was brewing. This was a nasty looking cloud. I thought it was a funnel forming. I was getting really nervous--then I saw a funnel--then several. In the end I saw 7 or more. They were basically everywhere. I tried to run to a safe spot, but ended up losing my house (?) and couldn't find a good place to hide out. I decided to take cover in a room in the office building still by a window. I couldn't find a better place. Eventually I ran into a bunch of people going about their business, and the tornados were no longer an issue. One of the boss ladies said she worked in cancer. I said, "Oh, oncology," as though I would impress her by knowing that. Then I went on to tell her about some food synergies that would help fight cancer. She didn't like me trying to school her on her field, so I left, but as I did, I said, "How can you absorb A, D, E, or K without some fat?" (They are fat-soluble vitamins.) Dream Skip I saw some men with low-profile derby style hats. They all looked the same and I thought everyone looked Affected. Then I said, "LUCID DREAMING!" and started laughing. The exclamation and the laughing were both beyond my control, so it was a more genuine laugh than if I were in control. It was very strange, and a good release on both counts. I wanted to get more control, so I looked at my hand. I saw my fingers and didn't even try to count them. I knew I was dreaming. It was a very strange feeling. I ended up waking up, but closed my eyes and went back to sleep. I was very tired, so I focused on sleeping again and immediately was slipping into lucidity. It was like my waking world world was fraying into the dream world. I heard my son talking to me and wondered if it was real or a dream. I eventually figured out I was dreaming. I woke up and relaxed and immediately was going back into lucidity. I didn't really have to try. As soon as I began thinking of falling asleep lucidly, it was already happening. This time I felt my body buzzing. It was awesome. I tried to think of a blonde I fancy, but I couldn't make her materialize. This pattern finally came to an end as I had to wake up for work. I believe this was all induced by a late cup of coffee that wouldn't let me sleep. I tried from 12:25 to 1:40 AM. I then got on the computer until 2:40 AM before going to bed and going through this lucid experience.
By the time my recall picks up, I was already lucid. (My dream recall is worse than my lucidity. ) I was in my family room. The first thing I remember doing was talking with my cat. My cat was actually a portrayal of my cousin. I can't remember most of our dialogue but we were arguing because we were in the same lucid dream and we wanted to know who would get to use their powers of dream control, and who would be a bystander. I eventually said to him that I challenged him to a dream duel. Winner keeps the dream. I punched the ground near him. He ran away and faded. I got up and decided that I would go outside and try to find my guide or practice some dream control, since the opportunity so rarely presents itself. I walked though the kitchen and towards the front door, my parents stood back. They must have realized that I was lucid and wanted to go about it on my own. On my way out the door I said to myself "my shoes are on!". I'm pretty sure it worked but it was kind of unnecessary. The dream world was beautiful. The sky was nearly alien with two morning suns poking though the clouds. I can remember there being alot of flowers in our front garden. But one orchid was particularly beautiful. I began down the walk when something started buzzing in my ear, like a mosquito. I dusted away from my ear. It was persistent no matter how many times that I swatted or dusted the annoyance away from my ear. My ear began to hurt as I began to slap it and dig my finger into it trying to get the buzzing out. I lost focus and forgot about maintaining the lucid experience. I woke up in my frustration.

16.04.2011Partial Astral Separation (Astral) NO DREAM Separation Process Astral I woke up in bed and moved. However, I felt slight vibrations. I got comfortable and emptied my mind completely. The vibrations hit back. I first felt my legs and head shaking, then my whole body. The vibrations rose more and more until they were very intense. I could hear a very strong buzzing on my ears. I felt my astral arms moving. I focused on white light, I surrounded my body with white light and asked for protection. I visualized a cord in front of me. I grabbed it with my Astral arms. I had no Astral Vision. Half of my body was out. I still did not have Astral sight, but my hearing and sensing spiked, I was being switched to my Astral body. My wife suddenly started to move and nullified everything. I snapped back to my body and the vibrations ended abruptly. I considered going to my Astral Travel reclining chair, but I was very tired so I did not feel it was the best idea to attempt to Astral Project that night.

WILD Had the day off from school today, so I was able to sleep in. As I started to get into light sleep, sleeping for around twenty minutes at a time (because I just wasn't tired anymore) I started to hear a fuhfufhfuhfuh sound every once in a while. I stayed still and enjoyed the feeling which facinated me. I decided to roll over and felt my self roll out of my body. I then sank far into my bed-which was an amazing feeling- then to finally roll out of my body one final time. At this point I sat up on my bed an watched my clock for a while, which was on my shelf like always, but this time my shelf was in the middle of my room. The clock had around 8 digits that kept changing. I watched for quite a while taking it all in. At this point, I realized that I had a big hat on my head which I finally took off. The Continuous lack of clarity made me decide to look for a pair of glasses, an idea someone mentioned, which i couldnt seem to find. After that, I headed down stairs to chow down on some food. I entered the kitchen which had a little dog running around, and from there opened the pantry door. I then grabbed a packet of pop tarts (which we don't own ha) and headed over to the livingroom to scope things out. I saw some of my moms friends and decided I wanted to see one of them's breasts. I found this weird, because this isn't really like me, but I asked her what she had on her shirt, and then started unbuttoning it to show her what it was (reality checked about 5 times first). At the point that I saw here breasts, I started waking up around this time, but I decided I wouldn't move and try to deild, which makes me glad that I was lucid and likeminded enough to remember. I woke up, and after 5 minutes or so of not moving a muscle I decided I wasn't tired enough to go back to sleep, so here we are. I've had this same experience happen to me before eventhough I didn't record it; it seems as if uncounciously tring to WILD (especially in the morning) is the best way for me. Next time I'll try to remember to rub my hands, listen, and smell ect. Although this is only my second WILD, it really didn't last long, maybe four minutes. If I could just have a lucid dream earlier in the night! Recall:7 Lucidity: 7 Length:3 Control: didn't alter anything Clarity:3 Likemindedness:6 Dreamscape:4 Overall:7

Morning of January 2, 2007. Tuesday. My family and I are living in our present home on Barolin Street and the whole nature of my dream is extraordinarily vivid with regard to all my senses. There are differences from real life as there often is, such as two couches (perpendicular to each other) being in the north and west areas of our living room. I am aware of my wife and children being in the room. A hummingbird has somehow gotten into our house and I want to make sure it gets back outside, as I do not want it to be injured in any way. I manage to hold it in my hands several times, but the sense of weight is so intense that it is almost like a heavy magnetic force of augmented gravity, with an intense “buzzing” in my hands. Thus, the overall sense of weight, awareness of forces, and my sense of touch is greatly enhanced. It is almost like the powerful force of creation, the heaviness and energy of “everything that exists” compressed into a tiny space. At one point when I close the front door, thinking the hummingbird had gotten out, I fear I crushed it in the top edge of the doorway, but it seems, over time, to be invulnerable, and from this point flies back into our house for a time. Again, the presence of this force is amazingly vivid, yet I do not attain lucidity (even though it becomes as vivid as a typical lucid dream). After a time, it seems to have left our house, yet its presence also seemed very special and even rewarding, emotionally and spiritually. After this, even though we are in Australia, it now seems that when I walk out the front door of our house, that I am in fact walking out the back door of my older sister’s (Marilyn’s) house on Loomis Street. The area seems much different, however, with many smaller random buildings which are half-built. There are larger clusters of taller buildings mostly to the southwest that seem a bit too close for any privacy, comfortable living, or viable personal space. Over time, I realize that the city is still being built, most of the region to the west being unfinished. A few older males dressed as janitors are seemingly working out how to continue with the building. I offer to help but I get the idea that I am the supervisor and they tell me they will be able to do the work on their own and that I am the one in control. Prior to my waking, I am seemingly in our older house on Stadcor Street in Brisbane, near the old shed (which in real life had collapsed and missed falling on me by seconds). A few unknown younger males approach me, seeming to want to closely relate to me - and trying to make me understand - how I am the origin and creator of my dreams - which seemingly relates to a number of the unusual half-finished buildings as if I am trying to recreate the collapsed shed, perhaps, and resolve the world as “complete” and nonthreatening. It is curious being told how you are all-powerful concerning your dream settings and dream scenarios by unfamiliar dream characters, though this has happened before, this time being more vivid than usual. Perhaps on one level, I was “visited” by the essence of Huitzilopochtli. At any rate, my dream was an extraordinarily enriching experience.

Morning of August 17, 1980. Sunday. (Last clarified and resupplemented on Friday, 1 September 2017.) The myth: “You cannot snore and dream at the same time.” This is one of those virtually endless bits of disinformation that one sees in various lists about dreams (and in most cases the entire list is untrue, including those related to “interpretation” by “experts”, as well as the superstitious “black cats crossing a person’s path“ mentality). I do not know who came up with this mindless concept or how it spread, but there have been many times in my life when I was snoring and dreaming at the same time, which includes the following entry. I am doing a news report that includes a celebrity interview (apparently with Rod Stewart, though he never makes an appearance), using a black generic microphone with a long cord (the cord going into the back of a white van), similar to the one I use in real life to record affirmations (though I am not using a cassette tape for any type of scripted dreaming in this case). At times, my microphone is making a sort of buzzing “snoring” sound. A few times, I move and swing the cord around to see if a short is causing the sound. I walk around in the parking lot and it seems to be late morning. I am to ask the singer about the different classic cars he owned. The parking lot is full of his cars, mainly from the 1940s to the present. As I walk near one of the cars, I hear that it had been left running and the engine also makes a sort of unusual snoring sound. I consider asking him when I see him if he is aware that the car had been running. There are several others around at first, all unfamiliar males, but a few are from the radio station I am supposedly working for. Eventually, a black bear comes onto the scene and my team and I need to escape. It also seems to be making a snoring sound, though it is implied to be growling as such. I decide to quickly climb down over a cliff at the edge of the parking lot (to hide from the bear), and, although there is a narrow ledge, I end up hanging on the microphone cord. Someone, I do not know who, is soon pulling me up, though I sense it may be the bear doing this (though I am not sure), but as I begin to climb up, the bear leaps over the cliff with his front paws spread out but misses me and presumably falls to his death. I wake up in the middle of a snore. The parking lot setting, as well as the cliff, is completely unrelated to waking life. Both are specific liminal space indicators of the dream state, the parking lot because it represents a halfway point (between dreaming and waking) as analogous to leaving an area (the dream state) and the potential of returning home (waking life), and the cliff being related to the biologically premonitory nature of waking from sleep (which often produces a natural falling sensation based on inner ear dynamics and coming out of being unconscious and otherwise has no meaning). The bear in this case may also have no meaning other than the preconscious factor (which is sometimes aggressive, depending on incidental dream dynamics, for the sole purpose of waking the dreamer) as it was primarily rendered by way of the sound of my own snoring. Note the progression; microphone buzzing, car engine running, bear growling. This is all sound-based, where my unconscious was simply trying to compensate for the sound of my own snoring yet also slowly alerting me to the waking transition. To validate this, a microphone would not normally get my attention (especially as I am already holding it despite its presumed technical difficulty), a car engine running would not necessarily get my attention either, but a bear certainly would. See how this works? (It should be obvious to a person of reasonable intelligence.) The usual hypnopompic falling dynamic was transferred to the bear so that my waking was softer than it would have been otherwise.
