Lucidity

I was in another country that was very communistic. Laurie was with me at first while a flood was happening. I had my AR15 and my AK strapped around me and was wearing a battle dress uniform. I saw a lot of people trying out to be cops but they were wearing a student flight tshirt. I went into a castle and did parkour. I was then with some girl telling her about lucid dreaming and she told me to whisper because that stuff was banned. We started going to a party but I still wanted to tell her about lucid dreaming. As I went to the top of the tower by doing parkour, I reached my room and saw a girl going through something in my room. I figured I'd sneak up on her and ask what she was doing, so I crouched down and sneaked towards her. I told myself "Too bad I can't use Blink and suddenly realized that I was in a dream!
I used blink and teleported closer to a counter for concealment. I increased stabilized and increased lucidity before blinking towards the girl again. I got close enough and asked her what she was doing and she turned around, obviously startled. I tried to pull her closer to me with magic but couldn't and slowly started to wake up.

Odd things happen when you're only barely lucid.


I am a wolf, running through the local forest.
I run aimlessly as I have no goal.
I just enjoy the night and the fresh air.



The wind is rushing through my fur, it feels great.
The forest is mine.

I decide to take a small break once I encounter a river.
I help myself to some water. It is cold and fresh.
It feels just right after the long run.

I look up to the stars. They seem much brighter than usual.
I decide this is a good moment to heighten my awareness.
Something doesn't seem right, I better RC.

This proves to be a rather complicated task, because I cannot quite figure out how to plug my nose with a paw.
Wait...

My body starts to morph back into my human form.
I plug my nose and try to breathe which works.
I'm not really sure why I even tried though, I am fully aware that I am dreaming now after all.

I rub my hands and take a look around.
As I turn the scene smoothly changes and I find myself in the city.
Well... that was weird. That doesn't usually happen, does it?

People passing me look at me in an odd way.
I ignore them. DC's sometimes act weird when I become lucid, I don't really care though.
I try to remember if I have set myself any goals.
What is the current Totm?
...
I can't remember.

I notice people are now pointing fingers at me.
What?
I realize that I appear to be fully naked.
Well, I guess that's why.

I concentrate on a hill outside of the city, which is just in range of my view.
I blink towards it, which requires a surprising amount of concentration.
I arrive within a split second.

Aah, much better!
I rub my hands again because I feel like my senses aren't fully there.
I think about calling out to Faye because my dream doesn't seem very stable.
Maybe she can help.

But then I am surprised by a pony jumping by:


Huh? What is Pinkie Pie... wait...

"Faye????"
"Yes?"
"Why are you a pony?"
"Weeeeeeeee"

She keeps bouncing.
I consider that I might actually be full on insane.

"Faye, stop bouncing around and help me!"
"Wat?"
"Oye, you always say you're my dream guide. Do dream guide stuff."
"Hmm, as your dream guide I should probably point something out in this situation."
"Yes?"
"Your penis is visible sir."
"My..."

Yeah, I'm still naked...
Faye finds this very amusing.
I summon myself some clothes, which I am surprised that it works because the dream doesn't seems very stable.
In the meantime Faye has transformed herself into a woman.
I am sure I've seen her before, but I can't seem to figure out who she transformed herself into.

"I can't seem to stabilize the dream."
"There is no need."
"Huh? why not?"

The scene suddenly turns dark... crap.
Fortunately I think about keeping my eyes closed and try to DEILD.
I am convinced I am waking up...

... I can hear something. For some reason I think that someone in the house must have dropped something.
I feel a tingling sensation all over my body and I drift back into the dream...

... I am now lying on... on a cloud?
I sit up, Faye is sitting next to me.
We're indeed sitting on a small cloud hovering maybe 50 meters over the ground.
I realize my DEILD was highly successful and say

"Fuck Yeah!"
"FUUUUUUUUUUCK YEAH!!!"

People below as look up at Faye confused.
I have to laugh out loud.

"Haha, dreams are fun!"
"Weeee"

The cloud makes a comical noise as it moves us along.
The dream somehow feels more stable now.
For some reason I get the sudden urge to fly so I drop off the cloud and start flying forwards.
Faye immediately catches up.
She gives me a rather competitive smile.
Right on!

I summon my dragon wings and accelerate hard.
I immediately break the sound barrier and oh boy it hurts... in a good way though.
My entire body is vibrating under the extreme pressure of going so fast.
The noise is deafening.
Faye keeps catching up and I go faster and faster.
Mountains rush by.

Then I notice something in the distance and slow down.

It's Stonehenge!
I go subsonic and land on the ground, still sliding a good 500 meters before I come to a stop.
I am now directly in front of Stonehenge.

How curious, I seem to get drawn to this place occasionally.
I look around to see if anyone else is here, but it appears empty except for an old man who is...
Wtf... -_-
He is combing the grass... with a comb...

I wake up.

I'm at home, programming for one of my current projects.
I have a bit of trouble getting something to work, that doesn't appear to make much sense.
I quickly realize that what the problem itself is complete nonsense.
Yep, I'm definitely dreaming.

I notice I've also been programming in chrome in stead of visual studio, how weird.
I see the "Dreamviews" tab is still open, so I click on it wondering if there'll be anything special.
Unfortunately I get an error trying to access the page:

"Error 000: You are not awake"

Funny...
I stand up and take a closer look at my room, trying to let the dream settle in and to figure out what to do.
I'll try the advanced Totm again. I'll go to Jupiter! But this time I'll do it right, not like last time...
After I feel that the dream is stable and that I am thinking clearly, I draw my phoenix wings and try to reach out to Jupiter with my mind.
It's pretty easy, and I immediately find the big red spot, great!
I take a step through the fabric of space, teleporting a few 100 meters over the red spot of Jupiter.

I immediately start falling. Yeah... gravity, how did I not think of that?
Jupiter is huge! When I look at the horizon I cannot see any curvature, it's perfectly straight, as if it would be a plane of infinite size.
There is no sound as I fall, but I understand that is because I haven't entered the atmosphere yet.
Obviously I can't hear anything in the void of space.

I know I'll hit the outer atmosphere any second now, I can see the red layer of gas approaching very rapidly.
It looks like an absolutely massive tornado, reaching for possible thousands of kilometers, and I'm falling into the very center of it.
As soon as I hit the first clouds I can hear a massive thunderstorm. It is very loud, and it never stops growling.
I see lightning flashes everywhere, so I draw a protective bubble around myself, which lessens the pressure I feel all over my body and the intensity of the sound.
Although the smell is very faint, it smells a bit like an orange? How weird, I would have expected something more like sulfur.

I descend through many layers of clouds, and the intensity of the storm decreases as I go deeper.
Suddenly, a pocket in the clouds appears. There's a biodome floating in the middle of it!


I realize that I will hit it pretty hard if I don't slow down and instinctively summon my wings in order to do so.
Although I do slow down quickly I won't stop in time, but I know that's not a big issue.
Just before hitting the outer wall of the biodome I simply blink through it and end up on the other side.
I slow down and land on a big greenfield next to a sea.
The air tastes and smells very fresh, you get that sort of salty taste as if you're standing on the beach of a big ocean.

I was hoping to meet the inhabitants of this biodome, but it seems this place has been abandoned a long time ago, how unfortunate.
But I'm quite happy that I managed to do this and that I found something rather interesting.
I want to do the basic task as well, but I'm afraid to loose the dream if I go back to earth.
But then it strikes me, the basic task should be easier than the advanced one... I'll just summon a shipwreck right here.
My back is turned towards the sea, so as I turn around I expect there to be a shipwreck, and there is.
It's right under the water surface on the beach. It's an old wooden pirate ship.

I wonder if I can blink into water? Ah, what the hell, I'll just try.
I look at the ship and blink. OUCH!
Well, the good news is it works. The bad news is it feels like running head on into a brick wall.
I dive into the wreck, searching for a treasure chest.
It gets quite dark which I dislike, I know going into darkness can end dreams.
But then I find a wooden treasure chest... except... it's really really small.
It's maybe 10 by 10 centimeters, but it looks like a royal chest with jewels and everything on it.

I open it up, hoping to find something amazing.
As it opens, a few faint light rays emerge from it... woah!
Inside of the chest I find... well... a wooden Yo-Yo.
What the fuck? Seriously? What kind of treasure is that?
My vision slowly becomes darker and then blacks out.

I decide not to try to stabilize it and wake up instead to take notes.
