    1. Washing a Barn

      I am walking around outside an old wooden barn with a hose, washing mud and debris off the walls and windows. There are a bunch of kids running around, asking questions about the barn. A bird comes out of a hole at the top of the barn and is being chased by an animal that looks sort of like a combination between a red fox and a baby llama with wings.

      I'm in a checkout line, trying to pay for my purchases, which consist of a bottle of expensive perfume, 3 packages of menthol cigarettes that I impulsively pick up, - Strange as I don't smoke, in fact I am very anti smoking - and something else of importance that I can't remember - I wish I could remember what this item was, I have a feeling it was important -. I have to split the tender, some cash and some on debit card. The man behind me is obviously irritated that it's taking so long for me to get it over with. After I am through the check out, the cashier pulls me aside and tells me in hushed tones that I should be wary of that man who was waiting to pay. She says that he was looking at my purchases in a certain way and she's fairly sure he will try to steal them.

      My man is waiting for me at the other side of the checkout and we leave, walking out of the store into this kind of desolate landscape. The only thing visible is an old barn up ahead. We look back and that man is following us. We try to hurry without looking like we're afraid. The man reaches the barn before us and comes out armed with some sort of weapon, a pitch fork I think. He demands we give him the items I bought. I hand them over, feeling very irritated.

      Dream 1: Chased by zombies in timesplitters-esque mansion. I was with a group, but me and an old friend matt mueller found a tower room behind the large wall door that whipped open as zombies came through the door and caused several people in the group to shrink into to fear and not realize me and my friend found a door. me and matt went up to the tower room that had a staircase that curved rightwards, the building had large grey bricks for the build of it all. once we got into the room that had old arcade games, green cushion seats and a light of some sort. Matt talked about sharing a graduation party with me and Pat Frankenthal.

      Dream 2: Mortal kombat between mileena and kung lao, i cant remember for sure if it was mileena though. They fought on stage that looked like hell from earthworm jim. then I became more involved in the dream, becoming semi-lucid as well. I was under them above shed, it seemed like I was teleported there. I then froze half the top of the partially red shed. Then I also used a low lying sheet of fire that quickly melted the ice(but there was no steam?)I then became more lucid than before and hopped down of the shed next to a large barn on a steep elevated hill. I swung both my arms around to try to gain energy from the atmosphere to create a windy ice energy ball, but my dream denied me and yielded no activity.... soon after I awoke.

      real quick. this was pretty vivid.

      Grandpa's New Barn (non-lucid)

      M, BroY, and I were driving down the gravel road to grandpa's house. I seen a huge, new, and nice barn behind the house.

      "He is going to rent the place out to students." M says.

      It is a real nice barn.

      We exit the car and proceed into the house. We see young girls playing with those toy cars they can drive around in.

      The girls stare at me and I don't recognize them.

      Inside the house, it is extremely nice. A lot of money went into that place. It is not like while awake.

      We never do encounter grandpa.

    5. Horses and the Barn Hotel

      My family and I were going on some sort of road trip, and it was in the afternoon. The first thing I recall about this dream is that we were pulled over to the side of a long highway with no other cars in sight. There was, however, a farm-like setting along the side of the road. There was a tall white wooden fence surrounding the massive property our van was parked in front of, as well as a couple different barns inside the property. They had the average wooden walls with red and white colors, but flat roofs instead of the rounded ones, which were also made of wood. I could infer this without actually seeing the roofs.

      I didn't look back at the van, but my mother, sister, and I simply walked a few feet and got to the farm property. The stakes in the white fence were extremely far apart, so it was easy to enter. There was an upside down L-shaped post with a hanging wooden sign, painted yellow. It read "welcome" in white letters. When we passed the sign, there was a sharp turn to the left, and a narrow path leading directly into a very large barn. On either side of us was the same type of fence, wide stakes, except it was the height of my waist now.

      We passed a few people on the other side of the fence; one was a girl wearing a cowboy hat, and she was probably around twelve years old. She was also holding a small horse under her arm, as if carrying a pillow. The horse's legs were pretty short, and it probably weighed only seven or eight pounds.

      We arrived at the large barn. The tall rectangular-shaped door was open, so we walked inside. It was big inside; I'd estimate it was at least one hundred feet long and at least fifty feet wide. At the entrance that we came in, along both sides of the barn were stalls; inside them stood horses. I saw hay piled in a few of them as we walked down the barn, and once we got around halfway there were no more stalls against the walls. At the end of the barn, there were three square-shaped holes in the top of the wall, around four by four feet. There were long rectangular planks of wood, placed parallel to each other, going upwards to make stairs.

      That was where we'd be sleeping tonight, and I knew it was getting dark. I was the last person to crawl up the stairs and into the small attic-like room. It was tiny, probably half the size of a kid's bedroom. There was one king-sized mattress on the floor in there, and there was only a bit of actual floorspace left to put our belongings. "I'm not sleeping in here if this is how small a room it is," I whined.

    6. Cobra in the Hayloft

      This is probably one of my first more precisely documented dreams over time. It was recurring and lucid in some versions. One might think this would be a nightmare, but not even close, just a sense of childlike awe and wonder and likely my first tulpa-creating attempt within a dream state.

      My dream usually starts at the Concordia Ballroom (at 1129 La Crosse Street) where my father often performed in real life. It is fairly late at night. I danced there in reality at the time, but in my dream, things are quite different. The Concordia building seems to be oriented perpendicular to actuality. There are also a lot of cars that seem more of a late 1940s style than the 1960s.

      Not only that, I end up wandering off into the darkness, yet seeing that a large barn…yes…a barn - exists just down the street a short distance from the Concordia Ballroom.

      In the barn it is semi-dark. Cobras are certainly not to be found in Wisconsin (in the wild, anyway), but there is a cobra in the hayloft (and only ever one). It is mostly black with a bit of yellowish orange. In some versions (even later on, as it got colder in real life), I wait expectantly, but wake up before it appears (almost as if it had to appear before I could leave my dream with “better confidence” - hard to explain). Sometimes it seems to be a long time for me to be standing there. No drama happens. No one comes looking for me. I do not think of climbing up to the hayloft at all. The cobra is high above in the hayloft, upright, around the middle area, and is no real threat. There seems to be a mystical atmosphere over the whole time period with similar dreams.
