    2. 22 April - Forest changing into a city? I am not having this!

      The last dream of the night.

      I am in beautiful mountains with some other people (at least initially). We are on a freshly mown meadow, it’s sloping and we are going uphill, there is a forest. It is morning and it is still slightly dark and it is also very cold, I can feel the cold. We consider making a fire but we want to find a more sheltered place, closer to the forest.
      I go uphill, I think I am on my own now and there is a road and a crossroad, on the edge of the forest. I can see light through the gap in the forest created by one of the roads. There is a city. But it gets very foggy (as in real foggy weather) and I can’t see much, the trees around disappear in the fog. Then I see a car and I am worried how they can safely drive in this fog. The fog clears a bit and I can see a modern city with skyscrapers and there are houses where the forest was before.
      That annoys me a lot. I was in a beautiful forest, I want my forest back.
      I am not having this. I feel like fuck this,
      let’s go lucid and I say “nope, this is a dream”.
      I hear whoosh and it’s like going under water. Everything gets dark and shaking. I want to stabilize but how? I can’t see anything. Suddenly I find myself squatting or sitting instead of standing and I can feel something solid in my hands, which is good, but I am confused. Is this my real body in this position? If it is, I mustn’t move. But I move my legs anyway and I can see them and they are trembling.

      It starts feeling almost like vibrations and I start to feel my real body, noticing it is relaxed and in a normal position. I try to calm myself and DEILD but I am not successful, I am too awake.

      My alarm was set for 1:15.

      I had a false awakening where I went from under my covers and changed the alarm to 1:30.

      At some point I awaken into the moment where my body is going back to bed but my mind stays awake. I get that amazing high feeling of this in-between. I enjoy it for a second and then decide I'm going to ride this transition into a lucid. I think "okay you are going to try to float up from your body" and then try to do this, but it does not happen. I think that maybe I'm going to float up and imagine a girl that I can be with in my room.

      I'm at Firefly music festival. It's the Wednesday night for the early camping and I'm with a group of my friends. I ask if there's a show, knowing there's a show. A friend tells me "yes" being surprised, and then says that it's a rock band and most of Firefly will be rock music. We walk down a path as I can see a stage with a rock band performing in the distance. My friend Allyson B. tells me that rock is better because she's done acid and seen a lot of rock, to which I reply that I've done a lot of molly for electric music and it's been great. We walk up to 3 huge guys and the one in the middle smiles at me. He lifts my hat up to check what's under it, and then I wake up.

      The title is self-explanatory. This has inter-species sex. And like with everything else -- don't like it then do not read it~

      I remember walking down Cerulean Cave in similar format to the one in a pixelmon server I was playing last night where I came up next to a small wall and over it I could see a mewtwo. He was the normal color but then his body began switching pallets to match the color of the shiny variant as shown in the above picture. I was ecstatic and wanted to catch the mewtwo but I fear of him defeating my team of pokémon due to them being so under-leveled.

      I could then see the mewtwo turning his face to look towards me and that's when I became frightened as I thought he was going to initiate a battle with me and make me black out. I tried to head back the other way but I ended up finding myself being taken by force by the shiny mewtwo as he began to make out with me. I could feel his mouth prying open mine and his warm tongue entering inside and I couldn't help but engage in the act with him feeling lustful and passionate.

      This is when another mewtwo appeared from behind and started to fuck me err....anally I guess? I honestly couldn't remember. This is where I found myself naked, whether I just became nude or I was nude to begin with. A cycle of sexual positions began within the 3-some and it felt amazing! And the mewtwos were no joke in staying firm with the act and taking lead.

      Once they were done, the two did not want me to go as they began to take me out the other side of the cave. For some reason I could remember hearing my mother call out my name and for that split of a second I can see myself rushing into my living room from my room and spotting my mother sitting on the couch by the kitchen as it appeared she was watching TV. I began asking if she needed anything but my mother stated that she thought I was calling her so I went back to my room and that's when it switched back to the mewtwo scene. Both were standing around waiting for me and once I appeared again in their site the proceeded on dragging me out again into the open world of pokémon. Then I wake up...

      Notes: Paired with the desire of leaving this planet and the coupling of pixelmon gameplay and the conversation with my fiancé on how Pokémon Go will turn out, there is no surprise that I would have a dream like this. Mewtwo being one of my favorite pokémon was indeed a treat to be able to have sex with...not just one but TWO (no pun intended) in a session like this.

      The false awakening in midst of a dream was quite a new one for me. As when I *truly* awoke I began to think if my mother had indeed called me earlier for something and that I went back to sleep afterwords. But I knew that my mother never actually sits on the couch nor was a TV propped up against the window, where she was facing. Though I did do my reality checks just to be sure.

      Interperting this dream is a no brainer. The joy of being part of the pokémon world, going into a cave and such and having sex with pokémon is something I've always wished for but the weird occurrence of being in my room in the middle of it could be a sign of how the waking reality is always wanting to stop me for wanting such freedom and continue to follow the orders of human society, my mother being a major example to this. But even after that and being taken by the two mewtwos out into the pokémon world (presumably) There is that knowlege of hope that I will indeed have that day where all my wishes will come true and no human from Earth will be able to stop them. What a great dream to start off the new month~

    5. Strange and entertianing non-lucids, an unsatisfying lucid, and a false awakening

      Last night, I probably had some of the strangest dreams of my life. I'm not even really sure how to put into words how ridiculous they were, but I'll try.

      Now, while they were weird, they were also probably some of the best non-lucid dreams I've ever had.

      Here's everything I remember (it might get confusing, but bear with me):

      The first thing I remember was being with two of my sisters... and Neve Campbell. See? It's already weird. I don't remember thinking about Neve Campbell or anything before I went to sleep, but it absolutely was her in my dream. This should have been a pretty big clue that I was dreaming, because I seemed to know her pretty well personally.

      Anyway, I guess my dream was creating false memories for me, because we stumbled upon this guy who was apparently a "chef" from Food Network who had a show that me and my family used to watch together. He wasn't REALLY an actual projection of a real-life chef from Food Network, but I was pretty sure that he was in my dream. In fact, I think he was Bill Murray (at least, he looked and sounded like him).

      We hung out with this guy for a while, but when he wasn't around, me and my sisters (and Neve Campbell) saw a news report on TV that said that this man was actually a man who disguises himself as various people from TV and what-not, and that whoever turns him in will get a reward (or something like that). We tried looking for him, but we couldn't find him. A while later though, me and my sisters... and Neve Campbell... went to the old neighborhood that me and my sisters used to live in when we were younger, and saw a man who looked suspiciously like the Food Network impersonator guy (or Bill Murray...), living in a bright pink house with a Dora the explorer themed car (that didn't start)... he was standing in his garage talking to us (don't remember what he was saying though). Now, I know that this bright pink house wasn't really in my old neighborhood, and this man didn't really live there, but in the dream, I was pretty sure that this stuff actually happened (false memories, I guess).

      The next thing I remember, me, my sisters, and Neve Campbell were sitting at a restaurant having dinner. We were all talking to each other (again, don't remember what we were saying), and all of a sudden Neve Campbell puts her hand on my thigh. Her hand felt really warm for some reason, and I remember thinking that I liked it (weird, I know).

      The next dream I had felt like only a few seconds, and I wasn't even a part of it. It was Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslett (still in character from Titanic) riding in a weird train thing (it was kind of like the Mono-rail from Batman Begins, but instead of a train it looked more like a car), and Leonardo DiCaprio was yelling angrily about how the windshield wipers kept spraying lube on the windshield every 7 seconds (weird as hell, I know).

      It's also weird because I couldn't see them, but I knew they were in the train... car... thing. Kate Winslett didn't say anything, but I knew she was there too. So strange.

      These were some of the most entertaining dreams I've had, honestly.

      Towards the morning though, I was actually able to become lucid.

      It wasn't a very good lucid dream though, because I knew I was dreaming, but I felt absolutely EXHAUSTED in the dream (the sleepy kind of exhausted, not the kind of feeling you get after a workout), and I could hardly keep my eyes open, and everything seemed foggy. I was sitting at my kitchen table, rubbing my hands together furiously and I kept yelling out "INCREASE CLARITY!", and I think it helped a little, but not much.

      The next thing I know, I'm waking up in my room. However, I almost immediately know that this is a false awakening, because I look at my alarm clock and notice it says "15:00" (military time isn't an option on my clock). However, I still felt very very tired and couldn't really enjoy the dream. I remember yelling out "Why the fuck am I so tired!?!?!?" in a half joking, half frustrated kind of way. I woke up for real a few seconds later.

      It's weird, but maybe I actually fell asleep in the initial lucid dream because I was so tired, and that was what triggered the false awakening. Not sure, but it's possible.

      I was at my dad's and it was sunny outside.
      I was in my room and had just woken up, I rolled over to check my laptop and noticed the time was "100:3", so I looked away, then looked back and it was now "100:4", I kept doing so and it kept going up one digit.
      I knew I was dreaming.
      Everything turned dark and fuzzy, I got up and couldn't stand up properly, it was like I was drunk.
      I started rubbing my hands together and the dream started to stabilize. I walked through the corridor and could hear my sister in the shower; I started talking to my dad but can't remember what either of us said.

    7. The Computer Thief and the Grocery Store Zombies

      I woke up in my bedroom, but there was no usual light coming from my window. I went into the hallway, and noticed that we had a staircase. This was weird, I lived in a single floor home. I went to my brothers room and found that my cousins were there visiting. My brother was not there. "Wanna play football?" Said one of them. I was transported to a football field. There was a crowd and everything, and I was on a team of people I did not know. I made 3 touchdowns and won the game for my team, whoever they were. After the game I was back in my room. I went outside, where I found my computer and desk in the front yard. There were pine trees all around, and all the nearby houses were gone except for one. I sat at the desk and turned on the computer, which was a blank screen. I then noticed a little boy standing there.
      "Hi there. What is your mom doing over there?" I said, pointing to an old black lady swinging a golf club.
      "Oh, she's just getting ready to rob you." The boy replied. His mother came up to me, holding the club. She told the boy to go home. I looked up at her, and saw her crazed expression on her face.
      "You are being robbed. Give me that computer!" She said.
      I reached for my crowbar that was on my desk. I stood up and smacked it into her face. "No, this is my computer. I paid good money for it and you didn't earn this." I said.
      "Well... I guess you're right. See this? It's my laptop. I hate this old thing, I can't even load a youtube video!" She said, pulling an old Dell laptop from her bag.
      "Too bad. Go get a new one with your own money." I then swung my crowbar into her face again. She didn't seem hurt at all. She just walked away, and went back inside her house. After such a strange ordeal, I decided to test if I was dreaming, as I do every day. I plugged my nose and tried to breathe through it, and for the first time, it worked. All of the sudden, clarity snapped into place. All the things around me became instantly real, in such a way that I cannot even describe. I at first wanted to jump up and scream to the world how amazing it was, but I realized that doing this would wake me up. I calmly went back inside to tell the other fake people, when my brother came out.
      "Austin," he said, "Can I play the computer now?" This poor figure of my imagination was just as addicted to the computer as he is in real life I thought to myself.
      "No, you aren't real. Now go back inside!" I said to him. He simply sighed and said, "Dang it..." and walked away. I was still very excited about being in my first lucid dream. I tried to fly. I jumped into the air, and willed myself forward. It worked. It was like being on a zip-line, but without anything to support you. I was so amazed and happy about it, that I lost my focus, and crashed down into the concrete. The pain I felt was so very real, but did not last long thankfully. I tried many more times, with similar results. I gave up and went inside. My cousin, Josh, came up to me.
      "Congratulations on your first lucid dream. How does it feel?" He said to me. Knowing he was not real, I still played along.
      "It's awesome! I could do this all night." I replied to him. I decided not to get into a fight about who's real and who isn't. I floated upstairs, and passed a bathroom. I covered my eyes as I passed it. I was afraid that by looking in a mirror I would cause a nightmare. I opened my eyes when I was past it. Curious about what dream tests really worked, I tried some. I covered my mouth and nose again, and breathed. That seemed to work just fine. Then I tested the "look at your hands" technique. I looked down at my hands, and noticed that they were so realistic, that if I did not know any better I would think I was awake. The only flaw was that I was missing two fingers. I tried to summon somebody, so I said out loud, "Bring me my best friend," to nobody in particular. Instantly, my best friend from 8th grade appeared. He was just as real as he was in life.
      "Nice weather today isn't it?" He said. I wanted to reply but he disappeared shortly. I flew downstairs and went outside. By then I had been in the dream for a while, almost 15 minutes. I looked at a digital clock, and it made no sense at all. It read "2G:F&Y". I looked away, then back again. This time it said "SCREW YOU". I laughed at this, and with lightning speed, ran down the road heading for a town. I got there in an instant, and entered a Target store. Inside I explored the virtual reality, making short reality checks to ensure I did not lose my lucidity. 5 minutes or so passed and I was growing bored. I decided to try something my cousin Josh would do. I went to the check out, where a bored teen girl was. She obviously was tired of the mundane routine of working at a register. I shouted in her face, "GET EVERYONE OUT OF HERE THERE ARE ZOMBIES ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!".
      "Dude... what is your problem?" She replied in a monotone voice. I looked around, noticing that there really were zombies all around me. Much more than I expected. I used superhuman strength and lasers from my hands to defeat the zombies, but more came. "This is so fun..." I thought to myself. I fought more and more zombies until the dream was over.
    8. Strange accidental WILD...

      I tried an OBE this morning. I tried to have an OBE but instead I had an accidental WILD. In fact, a very, very long one. It went like this:
      I wake up at seven. I did stuff till eight. I get back into bed and try an OBE. Eventually I become deeply relaxed and there is tons of hypnagogic imagery. It starts distant and unclear but it gets very vivid as time goes by. Then, my mind just explodes with hypnogonia. Visuals everywhere! I hear tons of voices. Then I see flashes of my room as if I can see through my eyelids. Then I see my laptop in front of me, and only that. By this time the voices are at their peak. They were completely understandable. I can hear word for word. Only there were so many voices I couldn't listen to them all. Then voices of two people I know started talking to me. They started calling out my name over and over. I get the feeling that their frustrated at me for not replying. At some point I also heard a huge BOOM/BANG! I think, Ahmed has gotten these bang sounds before! After that VIBRATIONS, never ending vibrations. I get two small waves like when I had my first OBE. I have that thought while its happening. But then a third wave comes and it does not end. It keeps going and going. Im thinking, When is this gonna end? All of a sudden I'm in sleep paralysis. I try to separate, but I fail. Then I open my eyes. I see my room and I am lost for words. The first thing I noticed was the color. I won't try to describe the colors. The next thing I noticed was how the door wasn't where it is normally. But then I saw another door where it always was. There were two. There was a huge window across from my bed. It was like a replication of my room on some alien star ship. Everything was sooooo different yet the same. It spooked me a bit, the way it looked; it was dark and alien-ly sinister. Then I thought, shadow beings? There were none. Then I started to get dragged from my bed. I thought, whatever, just go with the flow. I was then pulled into the space between my bed and my bedside table/drawer thing. I felt my body curl up into the space. I then close my eyes. I try to separate but fail. I open my eyes again I see the same room and everything that happened before happens again. Only this time I am pulled into the wall closest to me. All I see is a strange green-grey. I am unable to move or separate. Seeing no progress will be made now, I want to wake up. This way I'll at least be able to remember all this clearly and write it down, or as I am now, typing it. I try so hard to move. I cant, no matter how hard I try. I think back to what Nicholas Newport said. I try breathing fast and hard. It works; I wake up. I sit in bed and start to think about everything that just happened. I suddenly realize that all of this was not a failed OBE. In fact, I had achieved a WILD without realizing it. I was aware the whole time but I thought I was going through a failing OBE. I failed to tell the difference between an OBE and a lucid dream. It was all a dream starting from the vibrations. I was aware make no mistake, but I had treated everything as if I was on the path to an OBE. I get out of bed wondering how much time has passed. I change my shirt because the one I was wearing smelled.( In waking life it really did smell) I take a moment to decide which shirt I will wear. Whether it'll be the one that I had over my eyes or something else. I then walk out of the room. On my way I look out the window and notice it's dark. This confuses me. I wonder, How long have I been here? I walk into the living room and see my mom and my sister on the couch. Nothing new here. I exchange a few words with my mom but didn’t pay attention to what she was saying. My focus was on the leather coffee table next to us. There was something moving inside of it. I go, Oh! That’s where the mice are living. I hope my mom doesn’t notice. She does and I wake up. For real this time. I think back and realize I had experienced a false awakening. But the conclusions I made in my false awakening about the WILD and how I treated it like an OBE remained true.

      Daniel and I are standing on the footpath beside the road that comes past our house. we see first a single flying speed-boat, then another, both had a loud engine roar. Next came an extremely large airship, powered by it's two very large (e.g. 1km wingspan) and powerful red wings. It had a very synchronised and strong down stroke. At this point it became apparent that we were watching a Japanese air-show. Next, a young, anamatronic Japanese girl walks past us, followed by another robot girl who was fatter. It stops and looks at me and tried to lean in to give me a kiss. I use my hands to push her away. As I do this, Melanie appears from behind Daniel, and says to me "did you just...?"
      I find myself climbing up a rope in a place that is called 'hell'. The floor is red and there are flashing lights everywhere. I somehow know that the Japanese are responsible for the transformation of this place.
      I believe I have just woken up from my sleep on the bus. Somehow I suspect that this is a false awakening. I urge myself to reality check, but before I get the chance I become lucid. I start to think about whether I'm going to wake up, and to my surprise I have remained asleep. I wonder what I should do. Because the dream still doesn't feel very realistic, I decide to try touching some objects. All I can think of is touching the glass window, so I lean my head against it - it is cold. I look at the bus driver and the sides of the bus. It still feels very unrealistic. I get the sensation that I am drooling, but I don't do anything about it because I fear a distraction might make me loose my lucidity. The bus stops and I get off. I go inside a shed with some people inside. I'm not sure why. but they are hanging large spiders (the size of dinner plates) up on the ceiling in two rows. At the end of each row are some dead apes, with their arms hanging down. Both men and women are picking out the largest spiders, and taking them down. I watch one lady unhook an ape and hold it's dead body.

      My first attempt to enter a LD/Sleep Paralysis
      I laid down and relaxed, started to meditate, keeping my mind awake but letting my body fall apart from my mind. After about 30-35 minutes, I started hearing weird thumping noises. Then I had an OBE, and my "body" sank a foot into the bed, while my head remained on the pillow. After an excitement awakening, I must have drifted off and woken up 2 hours later. Then sporadic dreams throughout the night that I couldn't recall.

    11. Lucid Adventures: Chair Sorting, Almost Waking and DC Chatting

      My IRL friend, Dean and I were just finished inflitrating some kind of compound. We came out of the vents of the building into the main interior, which was a school. There were students there, packing up the chairs and tables as it was the end of the year. I observe this happening, when suddenly I feel myself begin to wake up - I was beginning to feel my real-life body. I focused extremely hard on maintaining the dream and lo and behold, it worked! The dream resumed, with the exact same scene, except because of the almost awakening I was now lucid.

      I was fairly excited, and turned to Dean to tell him but he wasn't there, so I made him walk through the doorway and told him 'Hey Dean, we're in a lucid dream!' Dean replies 'A history dream!?' and runs off somewhere. I simply looked around the area, and saw a DC who I'm pretty sure was a substitute teacher from my school. She and another student approached me, and we made small talk about dreams, which I can't remember exactly, but the teacher said, 'If you're in a dream, why aren't you doing more crazy things,' to which I replied 'I just feel like relaxing.' And it was relaxing - I observed the surroundings and noticed how real it seemed. Soon after the dream collapsed.


      I'm fairly proud of this; it's been a while since my last lucid. This is the first time I've ever been able to retain the dream when about to awake, which was cool too. I suppose that makes it a DEILD?
    12. Half Forgotten Lucid Dream

      This was from a while back - I hadn't remembered it too well:

      I remember:
      • Took a long thin alcohol bottle smashed it on a benchtop and mashed into a bed. No idea why.
      • I took someone's phone, destroyed it, but then materialised about 10 more.
      • I attemped to hover on my stomach - It was difficult.
      • Checked my hands continously!
      • Had a false awakening, but checked my hands and confirmed it was still a dream.


      And thats it. Sounds like I might have been angry for some reason.. who knows?

      I was a bounty hunter chasing these robots. They looked like droids from Star Wars and come to think of it my team looked like Delta Squad from Star Wars Republic Commando. We were chasing the droid or someone and I was yelling orders. The hallways were red like it was lava or something.


      I had a false awakening but I knew it was a dream I walked downstairs and read a newspaper. I kept thinking about Megan Fox so she would appear butshe didnt appear. When I awoke I wanted to go back so I just went back to sleep and I did.

      I had another false awakening and I was reading a newspaper that had a picture of my sister in it. The picture was upside down.
      I got out of bed or started thinking of Megan Fox again it still didn't work.

      I woke up when my mum called me she came into my room, my friend had just arrived and she told me to wake up. I strangely found myself on the over side of the bed I fell out of bed. I asked what day it was and she said Sunday but I thought it was Friday or some other day but not Sunday.

      Then my mum said I had to go and watch at a race.

      That or I was lying in my bed and it didn't feel right so I did a RC but I think I woke up in real life before I did it.

      I was in the Dumping Ground from Tracy Beaker and all the characters were there. Bouncer came in and he had spots all over his face. There was an AdULTHOOD poster in the kitchen and I think we were all waiting for something.

      Two hours after waking up today, I took a nap, because I was hoping to enter SP and have a WILD. Instead, I fell asleep normally and then entered multiple false awakenings. What happened next was one of the longest and most effed-up dreams I've had. When I woke up, I did a record amount of reality checks. Where in the world did this come from, why is my subconscious so demented, and why did it have to happen when I was attempting a WILD?

      It was afternoon. I was outside, and the sky overhead looked normal for the time of day. I was walking along the right side of my house, sandwiched between the house and a long, straight wooden fence that extended down it. This fence was ashen in colour and seasoned-looking, with uneven, ragged boards that were slightly pointed on top. There was green grass everywhere, and the exterior of the house itself was made of ruddy red bricks with light-coloured cement in between. I was headed to the backyard, where I "knew" the house's garage would be. When I rounded the back corner of the house and reached the yard, it was an extremely strange setup.

      There was the same, tall wooden fence as the one along the side of the house, but this one was much taller, probably twenty feet tall. It fenced in the entire yard on three sides, then connected to the fence I'd just walked along. Because of the yard fence's height, it blocked out the view of everything outside the yard, although I could see tall, normal-looking trees going at least ten feet past the height of the fence. The presence of the ridiculously tall fence and trees caused it to become darker in the yard, since there wasn't as much room for light to get in.

      I looked to the left, at the yard. There was just straight brick on the house; there were no doorways or anything to get in and out. There was just more slightly-overgrown grass, and the garage. This garage was painted white and looked rustic; a few patches of paint here and there were flaking off. The garage door was open, but I didn't see any cars.

      Then, someone from my school's graduating class walked out. I recognized her immediately, and she looked normal - she had long dark brown hair, freckles, and blue eyes. I had invited her over, and now it was time for her to leave. I smiled and waved as she walked past me, leaving through where I'd just come from.

      Then, I saw my dad walk up beside me.

      "Hey [Puffin], can you help me for a sec?" His voice sounded a bit muffled. I didn't think this was odd.

      He led me down the right side of the house, where I had entered the yard from. Once we got past it, the area wasn't the front yard or driveway of a house like you'd expect; instead, it was another backyard. The setup for this part is very hard to explain because of how complex it was. The side of the house we'd just walked down opened up into a square-shaped lot (probably 60x60 feet), completely closed-in by the same tall fence, and on the other side of the fence you could see more trees. A few of these trees even arced over the fence and above the yard a little; their branches and trunks were thick and gnarled. However, they didn't cast any discernible shadows of their own; the whole yard was just in one solid pale shadow, darker than the back yard. The terrain of this yard slanted up five or six feet towards the back of the lot, especially on the left side.

      In the middle of this yard, leaving three or four feet on each side for walkspace, was a big hole. The edges of this hole were smoothed out, and covered in grass, but then it steeply dropped off into blackness; it was very, very deep. Sometime when I was walking along the house, my dad had gone past me and ended up on the other side of the hole, in the far left corner of the yard where the ground was the most raised. Apparently he wanted to return to my side, but now the yard was littered with big, wide boards of slightly-destroyed wood. Most of them were irregularly-shaped, like the random pieces of paper a kid cuts out with scissors. My dad couldn't just walk around this field of wood, because they were filling the yard all the way up to the fence. But in the hole, there was a possible way to cross it. There were two very, very tall grey rocks with flat tops floating in the hole. Connecting the two rocks was a large, flat piece of dry grey wood. There were two other wood planks, and this created a bridge across the whole.

      On the middle plank, there was also a big, triangular-shaped rock that must have been four feet tall. It looked like it weighed a ton. My dad slowly made his way onto the planks (which wobbled a lot, and he held out his arms for balance, but he didn't look concerned). Once he reached the middle plank, he pushed the rock down into the big hole without any effort, and it disappeared. There was no way he'd be able to push it in real life.

      I decided to check in for the day and sleep. I walked away a few steps and looked at the brick wall of the house. Unlike before, when I saw no doors, now there was a basic white door with a gold doorknob. I opened it and walked into blackness. As I walked forward a few steps, I felt slightly numb, losing feeling in my body as I sometimes do when I'm lucid and the dream ends. And I did become slightly lucid at this point! However, the dream scene changed.

      I woke up in bed. But not really; it was a false awakening. I couldn't see anything around me because my eyes were still closed, but I knew the room was spacious and had a high ceiling that was painted beige, as were the walls. I knew the bed was an antique, with polished wood with fine details and rich colouration. I knew the bed had white bedsheets and a thicker white quilt on top of that. I was on top of the covers, lying on my left side.

      Immediately, I "knew" I was awake and resolved to DEILD. I breathed normally and stayed still. Although the third breath was a bit quicker and deeper than the others, which usually stops my DEILD attempts, I managed to get small vibrations rolling up and down my body. In the center of my vision, I saw a light blue square that was blurring in an outwards direction (almost like a tunnel). It expanded, and a blurry, pale scene formed in front of me. There were very abstract, blurry, dark grey shapes of people's heads and some desks. The only colors in this scene were darker, pale blue and greys. The scene then started to fade slowly as I started to fail the DEILD.

      As the scene faded, taking about ten seconds, I saw a very clear image in my mind's eye - it was a shoulders-and-up shot of a beautiful woman holding a baby up against her shoulder, one hand resting on the back of its head. I heard a woman's voice narrating something along the lines of, "most mothers prefer to hold their baby with two hands if they are pregnant." It was nonsensical but I didn't realize it.

      Once that image faded, I was back in bed with my eyes closed. I thought, 'let's try this one more time'.

      I managed to get the blurry square again, but it was darker than before and disappeared quickly, leaving me lying in bed again. I laid there on my left side for a few moments and breathed out normally. But I didn't get any results.

      Then I opened my eyes, giving up. I blinked once and looked up at the ceiling. Then, I suddenly heard an incredibly high-pitched, desperate scream, like something straight of a nightmare. It said, "don't look up!", and the "up" drew itself out into a long scream of its own. In the next instant, I was still looking at the ceiling, the yellow colors and window briefly flashed white like a camera had gone off, and I heard one of those sounds like in a horror film - it's like the sound wind makes when a big truck drives past you on the highway, minus all the mechanical wheel and actual truck noises. When everything was white, I saw the bright green outline of a tall church steeple, leaning over towards the right. This was in the corner of my vision. The 'outline' was most like someone had taken a simple photo and inverted the colors, so the blacks were white and the other stuff was green.

      The flash only lasted a moment, and then as the whiteness and church faded, I felt a momentary 'shift' or acceleration downwards, although I didn't actually move from the bed at all. It was like an invisible force had come into effect and was spiritually trying to pull me down. Then, I felt a hand strongly press me down into the bed, and roll me over onto my stomach, with the left side of my face pressed right against the bed. I couldn't see anything. At some point my vision had stopped working and everything had gone a dark, dark brown. My back was suddenly exposed and uncovered as I laid there, and then I felt a sharp blade slowly going into my back, dragging slowly along my rib. It started about four inches below my right shoulder blade, tracing along that rib. The knife was excruciatingly painful as it slowly cut its way through my skin, which seemed to give too much resistance to be realistic, but that only made it worse. I had never felt this much pain in a dream before. The cut went down along the skin and stopped when it got to the very side of my body. All the while, I was paralyzed, and I screamed like crazy.

      For a second, I became almost semi-lucid, and I broke free of the paralysis, but when I moved it, was like my bones were stiff and gelled together or something. I turned around, a bit more onto my back and looked at what was doing this. It was a hooded figure, with a black robe like the grim reaper, and surrounded in something like grey smoke. There was a thin, lighter brown woven cord loosely coiled three or four times around his neck; this cord was made of long brown hair! I wasted no time and growled at this creature and attempted to kick him away, but I couldn't move my legs anymore. I tried to punch him, but I was totally paralyzed again.

      He turned me over and proceeded to cut another line into me, slightly further down my body along the next rib. It was really painful. This cut lasted about seven seconds, slightly less than the first, but then I felt another one, a bit further down still. The whole time, I screamed, and as the last cut ended, I saw a flash of another brief image: my vision turned a solid yellow, and I saw three abstract curves that were larger on one end and smaller on the other. The three lines gradated from red to dark brown, almost black, and only took up about a tenth of the total area of my vision; they appeared off near the left side.

      For a brief moment during the cuts, I was aware of my sister lying on the bed beside me, and she said something like, "I told you so", but I can't remember the exact words. The words she said were laced with pain as if she was getting cut, too.

      The dream finally ended, and when I woke up, I could feel residual stinging in my back. I didn't get up immediately, nervous that I'd entered another FA. It took a lot of RCs and a few minutes of lying stock-still in bed before I could get up and shake things out.
