i havent posted in a while because i havent had any dreams i could remember. today i had two, but could only remember part of the second one. sorry about this being all in lowercase, and for any typing errors... once again im in an ipod. im just too lazy to start my computer up. the first one starts out as me being a pirate. apparantly im an old, retired pirate, and my hobby is collecting coins. im digging around in a shallow swamplike pond, grabbing at the shiny things i can see under the surface, lifting them up to look at them, then puttung them in a basket. the coins are all old ones, varying in size and shape. they dont look like anything ive seen before. im veey excited, because ive "hit the jackpot" and found a puddle with lots of coins in it. a pirate friend comes along, and is jealous that im finding all the good coins. i tell him that ice been looking for years for one certain coin, and i cant find it. in the same dream, im not the pirate anymore, but a servant to a queen. she brought me into her bedroom and is showing me the wood floor, complaining about it always being wet. i notice she has a lot of crap on the floor thats getting wet, so i throw it onto her bed, and look at the floor. one side is completely dry, the other looks like a puddle. i guess she wants me to figure out whats leaking, so i look closely. i then notice that the puddle now looks more like left over mop water, like someone was mopping the floor there and it hadnt completely dried yet. i poinr it out to her. "see those streak marks?" "no, i cant see anything." i grab her and place her in the right light. she gets surprised, and tells me that the ghost of the elderly pirate must be making her floor wet, since he used to be the guy who swabbed the deck. i didnt know that he had died, so she explains to me how he died. the scene turns into a flashback, with the queen talking in the background, explaining what was going on. the old pirate gave up in coin collecting and tried to tame water girrafes (girrafes that lived in water) and teach them tricks. every time he blew a whistle the girrafes would jump out of the water at the same time. for some readon, this was cruel, the girrafes plotted and tried to find a way to kill him. one time, when he blew his whistle, a panther jumped out of nowhere and killed him. just then his old friend came along and pulled a crayfish catchy thing out of the water. inside was the coin the old piratw was looking for his whole life. the friend showed it to the dead pirate, and he somehow smiled. after that, i had a dream about being in the army. all i can remember is that they had to test you to make sure you were capable of being in the army by making you walk across a canyon on a thin beam of wood. i was afraid of falling, so i crawled across. the other army people said i was cheating, but the drill instructor was very impressed and commended me on thinking outside the box. then there was something about playing badminton and hunting impalas, but i dont really remember anything about it.

Army stuff Throwing grenades River and body boarding some weird place where you had to push your body through small places some other stuff... I might just start making small notes like this from now on.
I'm on a bus going to God knows where. It stops and I get off to find myself at an alleyway. There are lots of kids my age and younger. I'm looking for a child and I ask this boy in a battered top hat, “Have you seen a negro kid on a yellow tricicle with red wheels. I get no answer, so I ask another child and she points me in the right direction. I walk where she pointed. Up ahead was some crossroads and beyond that a doorway, no door. As I walk, four of my friends join me. We cross the crossroads and then to my left was a café, it looked like a bus or coach with the front lopped off. We walk up to the door way and I hear clicking noises, like metal on metal. I look up out of the doorway and see one of my teachers, who immediately steps back so I can't see him. A car park is before me, with some cars parked. There are even some burnt out cars which there are trees and plants growing out of them. I look past the one at 2 o'clock to see some more of my teachers hiding away. There's three of them. I look to my friends and tell them something (can't remember what exactly) but I then look out to the car park again and leg it to the pristine car which is dead ahead. I hear the sound of fully automatic fire behind me. We were being shot at. We hid behind the car. It was a Renault Clio. Another teacher comes out with a gun, but fails to do harm since she doesn't know how to use it. I take the weapon off her, and shoot her. I also take down the teacher on the roof. We capture the remaining teacher. I remember talking to one of them and asking, “Why would you do this?” “To rule the world.” “Will you have any friends if you rule the world?” He laughs. “I have all the friends I need.” Then the army appears from no where. Aircraft could be heard flying over head and radios where going off. Me and my friends ran for it. We split at the cross roads, me and one friend, Rhys, go straight ahead. We run the the alley where I started and make a right then left and we come to a church and claim sanctuary. We wait, constantly looking out for the army through the windows. We watch as some guy runs jumps into a nearby lake and swims for his life. After a few minutes we see people making a chain and blocking access to the church. We eventually leave the church, and walk along the bank of the lake and come to a car. The rest of my friends are waiting for us. Me and my motely crew are now in a car travelling through the woods. I do not remember anything significant happening. I am now in a cave (same dream) looking for a hiding place, I exit the cave after being unable to find a suitable one, and go down the woodland path leading from the cave. At the bottom there is a tunnel which has another path leading away from it, the path is on a cliff edge.I hear footsteps coming from the tunnel. I stop walking to listen, thinking it might be the army. It isn't. It's a boy scout, I do not know him and he is running for his life. I go to help him. He makes it up the path on the cliff edge. He is a good way up before I catch up to him, he stumbles and falls to the ground and sprains his ankle. Rhys jumps out of nowhere and helps me carry him up the hill. Below us is a very steep slope, which gradually turns into a cliff face the further you make your way along. At the bottom of which is a river bank. and barbed wire fencing stopping us from just walking into it. The boy 'jumps' without warning and hurtles towards the ground below. He just misses being caught in the barbed wire. Rhys and I continue to run. He jumps just before the river bank ends, missung the barbed wire. I run to the point where there is no river bank and just water and I jump. The dream ends.
Airport - I was being checked at the airport going through some place. Felt like it was an arab place. I was with my mum and someone else? The guy checked me fast and asked the arab behind me to remove his head dress and take out his wallet. Someone called me by Suby and I waved behind me. I then put on my socks. I think there was a kid there, like Faizal maybe. I commented about his hair that a haircut was supposed to cut hair, not put more on. Animals on freeway - There was one part where these creatures were moving down a freeway. They were connected together and there were baby creatures being created along the way. Small turtles or something. They reached a river and bridge and dropped them in fountain lightning - There was a backyard with a fence around. Then lightning started and we had to bend some of the top corners of the fences down to avoid it getting struck by lightning. Then lightning struck very close by about 3 times. I went to the place and it was a pool of water and then there were 2 guys in it, or they feel in or stepped in. They got sucked under some place and then they pushed out again and swam around weirdly. Finally one of them came out but didn't say anything but a few words. I had to carry him away and he curled up like a baby so I dropped him on a chair next to the place. chocolate - I dreamed about a store and there was a chocolate section and I found cadbury chocolate from Germany and some other place I thought. I checked the package and was opening it and there was a store lady there and I told her how I had made mistakes buying chocolate before so I was checking if everything was correct. I then was telling someone else I found chocolate there and they said they didn't believe I found any from Holland and we went back and checked and there wasn't any. There was a part where the scene was like the army grenade range. We had to practice throwing our own shit. The place in front was obviously dirty and stank. We had to walk barefoot too, we were told.
1/25/09 Watching a Scary Movie I'm not in a theater, but I can tell I'm watching a movie because I'm not acting or affecting the action in any way, and I'm not involved as like a third person scenario. There's a man and he kidnapped a kid. I can't remember what was leading up to this or what the scene was, though. Next, there's the kid in a pit with an angry snarling beast of a dog. It's like a german sheppard on steroids. The man comes back and puts some gross looking food in like a trough for the dog to eat. He says that it's human body parts and the only way the dog will eat it is if he mixes in his own food with it. Then somehow, I guess my brain made a connection with food and the next thing I remember is making a wrap with turkey and cheese and tomato and lettuce on a tortilla in like a convenience store. Shoe Shopping I'm at a place like Famous Footwear or DSW and I'm looking at a wall of shoes. (I remember having a couple of shoe shopping dreams before sort of like this.) They're all skate shoes and tennis shoes. They're all on SALE!!! So I start picking out shoes and it's like I can't stop! I find four pairs I like and I think they all have some sort of purple on them. I go up to the cash register to get rung up and there's a huge pile of unsorted socks next to where I'm supposed to be rung up. I start going through and finding matches and they're on sale, too! So I end up with four pairs of shoes and a ton of socks and I'm ready to walk out and I think, Andrea's going to be so mad that I bought all these shoes... maybe I can put them up on ebay. Ha!! Army Video Game I'm in the woods and there's a dirt hill with little spaces cut out into it. It's in a semi-circle shape and all flat on the top. In front of this "hill" are dog crates. They're plastic with a metal grate for a front door. I see that people are getting into them and other people are handing them laptops. It's for a video/reality game. These people in the dog crates will be navigating people in the woods playing an army game. They are set up with laptops and headphones and infrared goggles. When they get into their crates, people push them into these holes into the side of the hill. A guy I used to work with, Scott, goes into his crate and freaks out and says he can't do it, so I get into the crate and put the goggles and headphones on and they push me into the hole. I'm looking at the computer screen and I see tanks and army men shooting at each other. I doesn't seem like the game is really taking place in the woods I was just looking at.
Starcraft 2 + SupCom Mix: I was playing what I thought was Starcraft 2, although, nothing was pointing to that. It seemed a lot like SupCom. I was able to zoom in and out and the terrain in the game was a red color similar to the starting maps in SupCom. I was taking control of two races, zerg and protoss. I am not sure what race the computer was. I had two lines of defense, first was the zerg line and almost behind it was the protoss one. I was thinking along the lines of "they won't be able to break through easily". Due to my dismay, they did. As they attacked, they were overpowering my defenses and breaking through easily using their numbers. I noticed this and decided to send what appeared to be a tank. I was planning to use its special abilites which would be some lighting attack or possibly fire and would do splash damage which would work wonders in destroying some of their units. I got close and activated it but forgot, if you want to call it that, that I have to wait a certain amount of time so that it can be used. As the time neared halfway, it was within the enemy's range and was getting bombarded pretty badly. It's health bar quickly dropped from green to yellow halfway through to red before it possibly exploded. I had more of this unit, so, it wasn't a special one but I didn't use them for some reason. I was almost completely wiped me out. The only remnants left was a couple of zerlings near one of their structures and likely some more units a couple of places over the map. How they managed to miss them, I have no clue. Helping out: All I can recall is asking my mom if she needed any help in the kitchen. Thoughts: That game dream was pretty nice. It would have been nicer if I was in control of it though. Imagine directing 100s or 1000s of units to attack a specific location. That would be something that can't be done in any of those games due to a control limit that is put in place. Would be nice to have more of these dreams with some control of course
I was in a strange place. I looked around to see where I was. I was in a strange city. I looked around and I saw that I was in a space between two buildings. I looked out on the street and saw this city appeared to be populated by orcs. They were moving quickly from building to building, talking to each other only briefly before moving on. I saw that there seemed to be a lot of orcs near one building. I wondered what was happening over there. I wondered how the orcs would react if a human was suddenly found among them. I hesitated for a few minutes due to that, but for some reason I felt ok about going out onto the street, into the open. I felt ok about it, as if doing that would not put me in any danger. I stepped out onto the street and headed for the building where all of the activity seemed to be taking place. As I walked across the street I noticed that the orcs were noticing my presence. They were turning to look, appearing very curious about me. None of them seemed hostile, though. They just seemed curious. I reached the building where all the activity was with no interference. When I got there I saw that the orcs were rushing in and out of the building. None of them were paying much attention to me. I looked into the building. There were orcs in beds everywhere. They looked to be in various stages of injury, They were all being tended to by doctors or healers… When I got in there, one of the orcs came over and quickly ushered me outside. She followed me off to the side of the door. She said the hospital was very busy, so unless I needed medical help, could provide aid, or needed aid, please stay out of the way. I asked what was going on. She smiled, then she turned and walked away. I still wanted to know what was going on. I wondered who could tell me something about what was happening. While I didn't feel any hostility, I did feel an intense sense of urgency. I walked down the street towards someone who looked like they were in charge. Just as I was getting close to him, however, another orc came running up. This one was female. She said there was another attack force approaching. The male orc looked very disturbed by that. He said they didn't have any more warriors to send. He said most of them were too badly injured from the last attack… and those who weren't injured were completely exhausted. There was no way they could handle another attack… This sounded like a possible DDO quest. I would have to find out more. At thinking of it as a DDO quest, I stopped for a moment… DDO? Tigress does RC's when playing DDO… so I would do that, too. I did a RC and found out I was dreaming. But my goal was still the same. Find out what was going on. I asked who was attacking. The woman looked at me strangely. She said the trolls, of course… I asked what she meant. She asked if I had just dropped from the sky… the troll army, they were attacking again. She said I had gotten myself into the wrong place… there was no way their defenses could handle another attack. I asked how many trolls. She said there appeared to be well over a thousand trolls… their biggest assault yet… And then there were the traitors who had fled the city to join with the enemy. She said hope was lost. I said no, it wasn't. I told her I would just have to intercept them. She said there was no way I could do that alone. I told her not to worry, there was an army ready to move in. An army? She asked an army of how many? I thought for a bit… I said definitely 256, I was expecting it would be 512, maybe as many as 1024. She asked if I didn't know how large my own army was. I said it depended on how many they had managed to gather up. She said maybe they should save themselves and run. She said full grown orcs couldn't match strength with a troll… and no offense, but an orc is much stronger than a human. The orc that looked like he was in charge interrupted the woman. He said if the humans wanted to go out and get themselves killed in battle, then that is to be commended. It is much better to be killed in battle than to live in fear. The woman said that it is also foolish to go into a battle when you know you can't win. The leader said it was, in the end, up to the humans what they wanted to do. He said if my army of humans could hold the attacking hoards off just long enough for them to get the injured, the very young, and the very old to safety they would be extremely grateful and would make sure my army and I were well rewarded. He added that if we were in need of supplies… armor, weapons, rations, their resources would be at our disposal. It is well known that orc armor and weapons are among the best, although humans probably would have little use for orc rations… except for the mead… I told him not to worry, we were already well equipped. I asked where the trolls approached from. He said the south. I said perfect, we would have no problems intercepting them. With that I headed for the gate to the city. I took flight, much to the surprise of the orcs around me, and flew over the gate and headed south. There were, indeed, hoards of trolls. I saw some orcs mixed in with them. I landed in front of the hoard. I landed near the one who appeared to be the general. I walked right over to him. I asked him if there was any possibility of them turning around and going home so things wouldn't have to get ugly. He and several others around him laughed. He said this stupid human amused him… so if I wanted to live, he was going to give me to the count of 10 to get out of his sight. "All the way to 10?" I asked mockingly, "I'm impressed. I didn't realize trolls could count that high." The general glared at me and said I was no longer amusing him. I told him if he turned his forces around and left immediately, no one would get hurt. He said I would be wishing no one had been hurt. He took out his sword and tried to run me through. His sword hit my Witchblade armor, which formed instantly. The troll was quite surprised by that. I said if he was surprised by that, wait until he got a load of what was coming up next. I was about to focus on my multiplication spell when I saw there was another human there with me. It was Tigress. She asked what was going on. I motioned towards the army of trolls and orcs. I said if she wanted to help, just go ahead and kill something. In fact, kill lots of somethings. The trolls laughed some more. I guess the idea of Tigress killing lots of them was very amusing to them. Tigress multiplied. There was a paladin version of herself in shining armor with a large glowing sword… a rogue version of herself which was a halfling and had a dagger dripping with poison… and a fighter version of herself which was a warforged and was carrying two nasty looking swords… and that was in addition to her normal self. So now I focused on the song Divide by Disturbed. 2… 4… 8… 16… 32… 64… 128… 256… That's where I normally stop. I saw that all of Tigress had dispersed into the enemy army, killing as she went through them. I thought I saw the pally split into two pallies, so Tigress wasn't done dividing, either. So even as the trolls attacked all of my clones, I continued multiplying… I wanted to push the limit. Another split… 512 of me. Every part of my mind seemed to be consumed by a different part of the fight. Cutting down a troll here, running my Witchblade sword through an orc there… There were still so many more trolls than there were of us… Should I keep dividing? I wasn't sure what would happen… I decided I had better not chance it until I knew for sure 512 would work well… So the fight continued. Having 512 of me was rather disorienting, but since all of us were focused on the same task, that made it easier. All of us were utilizing our Witchblade swords to cut down trolls and orcs wherever we found them. Then I noticed something… one of the orcs had put his sword through one of my clones! His sword had managed to penetrate her Witchblade… I wondered how that was possible. Had dividing the Witchblade that many times made it less effective? My Witchblade spoke to me in my mind, saying the others were not as strong due to the dividing… but the original me still had a fully effective Witchblade. I felt the energy from the clone return to me. Ok… 511 of me… The fight was intense, and disorienting as I tried to direct each of my clones at the same time. A couple more clones went down, but that was nowhere near the number of trolls to fall. Soon the field was littered with dead trolls and also some fallen orc traitors. Only Tigress and I were left… there were 64 Tigresses and 486 of me. Tigress looked around at all of the Ravens standing around her. She asked if I could have made any more of me. I said yeah, I thought I could have, but I stayed with 512 for now. The next step up from 256. Both of us absorbed our clones back into ourselves and surveyed the area. Nothing but death. Tigress started an intense fire. She said many of the bodies would burn, and create fertilizer for the earth… and the ones that don't burn will feed the scavengers of the wilderness. I looked at the burning carcasses and thought that was the first time those trolls and orcs would ever be useful to anyone. I was looking at the flames when I woke.
I am at a public fair of some kind. I don't know the place but there is a large circular Romanesque building in the center and rides and consession stands surrounding it. The circular building in the center is multistoried and I am on an elevator going down to the ground floor. There I meet someone I knew in public school, J.P, though he looks older. He is lost and trying to find his way somewhere. I help him orient himself and he goes on his way. I am there for army training and see the group that I am supposed to be in and start following. The group is led by Lieutenant-General Roméo Dallaire and he is weaving us through thrater seat aisles and pillers around the building and various rides and events outside. After we have completed a circuit we start again but this time jogging. The rest of the group seems fine but one other girl and myself soon start to tire and have difficultly keeping up. After the second circuit is completed Lieutenant-General Dallaire starts the group running. Halfway through the circuit I am too tired to run anymore and fall behind, losing sight of the group. I am outside of the circular building and near a large inflatable male lion that is coloured black. It is laying down but it's mouth open as if amidst a might roar. I feel disheartened already because of failing to keep up with the group and falling behind but also feel equally small and pathetic next to this mighty lion. I sit down on a folded metal seat nearby and mope. Sometime after I have caught my breath the Lieutenant-General and the group rounds and corner and approaches me. I stand up and apologize profusely to Dallaire but he only responds by asking if I am ready to go. I do not understand and he says that he "never leaves a man behind." I protest and say that I am not good enough but he responds that I won't know if I give up trying. I am feeling a bit refreshed after my rest and agree to try again. The group starts off again at a jog and as I follow I look over my shoulder at the inflatable lion and see that it has changed colour to a bright and luminous golden. For some reason this gives me confidence to press on. The group eventually starts to run again and this time I am able to keep up for the whole circuit. The running comes to an end at a clearing on the tarmac outside of the circular building where a small stage with a red curtain backdrop has been set up. Many civilians have gathered around and in the crowd I can see my father. Lieutenant-General Roméo Dallaire gets up on the stage and starts introducing the runners, giving them little medals and declaring that they have completed the recruitment process and are now officially in the army. Everyone else goes first and I am last. When it is my turn the Lieutenant-General gives me a metal, says I have completed my training and then adds that I have a special significance in completing this because I persevered in the end and made my father proud. Dallaire notes that I am now in the army at the same age that my father joined the navy and that our proud family militay history will continue. I am confused by all this and though happy to have completed the training I still don't feel that I am good enough to be in the army. The dream ends there.
I am Rosso the Crimson and I am in some sort of army. For some reason a small group of soldiers including Shelke Rui, Vincent Valentine and I, defect and flee from the main army, which is situated in a sparse and barren, temperate forest. The rest of the soldiers in our group seem to be young adults and children. Vincent and I have the responsibility to lead the children away from that place but our ideas and ways of doing things are often at odds and we fall into verbal conflict, though most of the time I conceed to Vincent's way of doing things. I am kind of annoyed at first, but ultimately trust that he will not lead us astray. As we leave the main camp, and out of the forest, it begins to snow and our first night is tryng to find shelter where we can sleep. There are several large gaps underneath logs or holes in the ground large enough for humans to crawl into, but Vincent says to stay away from them because dangerous wild animals, like bears and foxes, might live there. We crest a hill and come across a children's playground where someone has thrown a blue tarp over some of the equipment, and while we could all easily fit under it, Vincent insists that we are not far enough away from the main army yet and we must continue. At this point in the dream, Vincent suddenly disappears and in his place is my brother Ryan. We do not have to walk far to discover that we are on an island or something and must turn back. We return to the playground and I lay down on the ground to sleep, with Shelke beside me, and hope the man who I still expect to be Vincent to lay down on my other side. Instead the man lays down on the other side of Shelke and I am shocked and angry to see that it is Ryan not Vincent. Despite being very tired I refuse to sleep and insist that Shelke switches spots with me because I am afraid that Ryan is going to sexually molest her. One of the other children soldiers cannot sleep and wanders around and finds a radio which he immediately turns on very loudly. I want the young boy to turn the radio off because I think it will give our position away but Ryan says it is fine and mocks my obvious apprehension. I convince the boy to turn the music down and everyone goes to sleep eventually, except for me. Suddenly I sit up because I have an overwhelming urge to find Vincent, without whom I do not feel secure. I walk around the playground area and see that while it is still cold, most of the snow has disappeared. I turn off the radio as I pass it by. All of the defected soldiers except for Shelke and Ryan follow me. One little girl freaks out because there is a tiny brown snake in the sand. I pick it up and throw it as far away as I can but quickly find another, and another and then many more. There is a reddish brown snake with a yellow rattle on its tail near the playground and the children flee because I positively identify it as a rattlesnake. Suddenly all of the snakes I can see are of the poisionous variety and as I walk back to my sleeping bag I am bitten several times, though I do not seem immediately affected by the poison, which feels hot and firely, almost electrical, coursing through my veins. I cannot wake Shelke and since I refused to leave her there I lay back down on my roll to sleep. More and more snakes appear, each is bigger than the last and they are increasingly a variety of bright colours. Soon there are so many of them that I cannot move without touching several of them and they turn and bite me, again with that fiery, electrical feeling shooting through my body. I feel myself becoming increasingly weak and disoriented, but I do not know if it is because I am exhausted or because of the poison. I sit up and notice that Shelke and Ryan are gone. Still hoping for Vincent to return I cry out to him to save me. When Ryan appears instead I am very upset, still wanting/expecting Vincent, and fall silent in anger and frustration. I sit crosslegged and completely still and the hundreds of snakes surround me and almost bury me in their mass and I find that I would rather be crushed or poisioned to death (though at this point I notice they have stopped biting me) by the snakes than to have Ryan come near me or save me, the very thought of which makes me feel sick. The last image of the dream is looking at the mass of snakes in my lap and taking note of a rather large, bright red one with intricate oriental inspired patterns down its back that are coloured a bright yellow or gold.
The dream starts off in the small gymnasium of my old public school. There are no children, just new recruits for the military. The small gym is the sleeping quarters, whereas the large gym is for training. There are no chairs and the new recruits are forced to sit on their duffle bags and use small fold out card tables, or in some cases, cardboard boxes to eat and write on. I do not know anyone there, but we are assigned to small groups of five or six people to a table/box. I do not remember any of the details about the others in my group, but there is a guy sitting on my left who looks like a stereotypical jarhead. I cannot remember his name but I think it started with an "L." L is a real bully to everybody and no one really likes him. I try to be nice to him, but in return he starts harassing me with rude comments and constantly tries to grab by breasts and buttocks. I am able to fight him off but from then on I have to be on alert at all times because L takes every opportunity to harass me. I try to keep my distance, but that is almost impossible since we are in the same training group within our unit. The dream skips ahead a little and it is months later. Our commanding officer is giving us our orders and assigning every soldier with a "war buddy." I don't have to wait to find out who my partner is. Somehow in the dream, I just know. It is L of course and I couldn't be any less excited about it if I tried. The dream skips ahead some more and L and I have been deployed in a thick tropical rain forest, hunting down the unseen enemy presence. I think that our settings look like scenes I have seen in Vietnam war films, though this though does not bring about lucidity. I tell L that if he tries anything towards me that I will not hesitate to defend myself, and will go so far as to kill him if I have to. L doesn't respond. We travel for quite a while without engaging in any battles, and L concentrates on his soldierly duties and does not harass me. We come across a wide river that is thick with brown silt and is flowing quite rapidly. Crossing it would expose us to possible enemy fire but we have no choice, as our destination is somewhere in the forest on the otherside. As we are crossing someone starts shooting at us. I become afraid and try to go back the way we came, but L grabs me by my munitions belt and forces me across the rest of the way. He is spraying the part of the forest where he thinks the enemies are hiding, but neither of us are actually sure where the bullets are coming from. On the otherside of the river L and I dive under the tree cover and the enemy fire suddenly stops. L begins berating me verbally for trying to run away, and though I am angry and not in the mood for his verbal abuse, I say nothing. From then on L declares himself the leader of our team of two and starts bullying me around. I am indignant at first, but soon realize that he is pushing me hard because he is trying to keep me on my toes and alive in the dangerous situation we are in. At random intervals we are attacked by enemy units but L and I are able to fight them off. I cannot see the details of the enemy fighters as they appear as sillouettes of people dodging in and out of the thickette of trees and ferns. More then once L saves my butt and a few times I save his. We are unable to stop for sleep and rest only a few times to eat, as we are constantly attacked. We reach our destination and it is some sort of military outpost in the edge of the rainforest. On the far side of the camp the flat field dips down into a deep lush valley, where several small villages of the local population exist. We are summoned by our commanding officer and are required to report our experience. It turns out that L and I are the only members of our unit that survived to complete our mission. All of the other soldiers in our unit were killed and the commander wants to know what we did to survive. We report our experience and when we are done I openly admit that it was likely because of L taking charge that we survived. The dream ends with me saying "I think L is an @$$hole, but he's also a damn fine soldier" or something close to that.
This dream starts off in my hometown of London, Ontario. I am on the way from my parent's house to my new apartment on Adelaide Street. For some reason I am in the country side west of the city. An unnumbered city bus comes along and I get on, but I cannot find my transfer. I can find transfers from several days before, but not the one for today. Only after going through ever pocket on my person do I find today's transfer crumpled up in my left hand. The bus driver sighs with impatience as I hurridly take a seat, red faced from embarrassment but relieved. Despite being out in the country side, but bus is packed and everyone on board seems scruffy or rugged, like they have been camping outdoors for a long time. They are all men and seem to be all staring at me and I feel a bit creeped out and threatened. The bus drives into the city, to the edge of downtown then suddenly stops. The driver tells all of the passengers to get off and promplty drives away as soon as we have done so. I walk down the main road, Dundas Street, for a while before deciding to wait at a bus terminal in front of a white multi-storey building that I do not recognize from waking life. I am expecting the Dundas bus to come along, but after a short wait, the Adelaide Street bus shows up instead. Though I am confused as to why it is the Adelaide and not the Dundas, I happily board the bus, hoping it will take me straight to my apartment. The bus pulls away from the terminal and passes a group of asian men standing in the middle of the street, waving various melee weapons around and shouting loudly. I cannot hear what they are saying, but the majority of the noise comes from a man wearing a blue hooded sweater over a white t-shirt. He is waving a hunk of wood around and seems to be directing his anger at random pedestrians on the street. I feel the atmosphere change and everything seems suddenly darker, eeiry and inexplicably desolate. The bus suddenly slows down and stops. A burned out pickup truck, and a pile of damaged cars, is blocking the road and there is no way around. The bus driver manages to turn the bus around and starts heading back to the bus terminal. As we pass the group of angry asian men, the one in the blue sweater, waving the hunk of wood, pulls out a pistol from his waistline and opens fire on a group of people who have gathered by the side of the road to watch the commotion. The first shot hits a woman holding a baby and the crowd panics and scatters as she goes down. As the man begins randomly firing at the running people, the other men in his group start attacking people with their melee weapons. The bus driver floors the gas pedal and tries to drive away from the ensuing chaos, but a large military truck pulls directly infront of us and forces the bus to stop. The doors are opened and the passengers make a run for it. I run towards the white multi-storey building, with the intention of hiding in it or behind it, but asian men in military uniforms start appearing between and around the buildings. At first I mistaken them for London's Area Support Unit, but it becomes apparent very quickly that these military personnel are foriegn and hostile. I run towards central downtown but it seems that the entire area is surrounded by this mysterious invading army of asian origin. Many people are captured, myself included, and forced to sit together in large groups with hands behind heads. People who do not comply, or who try to escape, are shot on sight. When the street is overcrowded with captured prisioners, the armed guards start herding us into the large white multi-storey building by the bus terminal. The inside is decorated in bright red fabrics and paints and seems to be a giant theater of some sort. The ceiling is open for several storeys up and the parameter of each floor seems to be made up of box seats, except for the ground floor, which is bare tile like a gymnasium. The prisoners are forced to sit on the floor and face a large screen on the west wall. The military men start playing some sort of propaganda film about their greatness or their great leader or something, but I cannot follow it because it is not in english and I am being distracted by several fat white male prisioners who insistantly try to stand up and show their private parts to the rest of the captives. Their penises are very small or severely deformed but I am finding great amusement in their last acts of bravado, as it seems to really piss off the armed guards. I suddenly notice an unguarded electrical socket to my right. I descreetly pull the plug and hope that I am shot quickly if I am caught. I have no idea what pulling the pull will do and I am surprised when not only does the propaganda film end, but the electricity to the entire building goes out. The invading asians go into a frenzy trying to maintain control of the prisioners while trying to sort out what is going on. Some captives manage to sneak out in the darkness, while others are caught and executed, but the majority stays put in fear and confusion. Whe the emergency lights come on, the invading army is still a bit frenzied and there is a commotion outside. A man I assume is a commander of the army comes in and motions half of the armed guards to follow him outside. I cannot remember anymore of this dream.
June 27, 2004: I had this dream that I had Bunbun and a cat in cages, and they kept getting out, and I was afraid that the cat was going to eat Bunbun so I put her back in her cage, but every time I turned around she was back out of it. In the end, I had to keep the cat in the cage and give up on keeping Bunbun in her own cage. June 18, 2004: Last night I had a dream that the cast of 8 Bit Theater was driving a jet plane down highway 41. I know there was a plot and stuff but I don't remember it, only that they eventually got the plane stuck in a hotel lobby. June 30, 2004: I had this dream I was fighting the forces of evil in a video game. Or else it was a theme park. But you accessed each room by going through a maze in virtual reality and entering little trap doors. In the end, I had to go to this one area, which had a pretty cool design scheme, and go to the "Jail", which was also technically a portal to Hell. Everything was on fire and the main boss I had to fight was impervious to normal weapons. I realized that in order to kill him, I was going to have to bring a mage with me or else get magical weapons (I was thinking of getting a gun with enchanted bullets). But I realized that enchanted weapons probably wouldn't be enough, nor would one person. So I raised an army and we went and stormed the building and brought that mofo down.
