      Well, last night was fairly typical.

      8:30 - OJ, Apple Juice, milk. GO shoot hoops
      10:00 - Come back in and get ready for bed
      10:30 - Vitamins with glass of water
      11:15 - Go to sleep with binaural beats
      2:30 - Wake up first time and begin second sleep cycle
      5:00 - Wake up after second sleep cycle and start alarm
      5:15 - Wake up to alarm and go back to sleep
      7:00 - Get up

      I am not really sure what happened to the second alarm. I was having a dream that I could of re-entered for a WILD had it woken me up but for some reason I only remember it going off once. I think I must of rolled over and my earbds came out. Oh well, tonight I shal have another lucid dream!!!!

      Well, last night nothing really interesting happened. We had some guests over so I missed out on my nightly routine and got to bed about 11:30.

      10:30 - Get ready for bed
      11:00 Vitamins with glass of water
      11:30 - Go to bed with binaural beats.
      7:00 - Get up

      So last night I guess my earbdus fell out because I never woke up once. The first thing I remember is getting up in the morning and my mp3 player was laying on the floor. lol.
      Well, at least tonight I will have another lucid hopefully/

      Well, if you read "Two Layers Down and One Hell of a Nightmare" you should already have an idea of how last night went. So what happened is that my mom found an old can of Dr. Pepper in the pantry and it was about 10:30 at night. I was just about ready to go to bed and she said she was going to throw it out if no one drank it. Not being one to let a Dr. Pepper go to waste, I took her up on the offer. Once I was donw drinking it I was thinking, "Oh great, I just messed up my whole night, didn't I?" Well, sure enough that is what happend. I had trouble falling asleep and never really had any good deep sleep, aside from that nightmare, although it wasn't exactly pleasant. Anyways, here is the time chart...


      8:30 - OJ, Apple Juice, Milk, Shoot hoops
      10:00 - Come back in and get ready for bed
      10:30 - I accept the lethal offer and have a Dr. Pepper *facepalm*
      11:00 - Try and fall asleep with binaural beats, but pop keeps me awake
      About 12:00 - Finally fall asleep
      Between 12:00 and 4:30 - Have nightmare
      4:30 - Wake up and start alarm
      5:00 - Shut alarm off and just go back to sleep
      6:30 - Get up and make recording of dream, determined to get a better nights rest.

      Well today I ought to have some time to record my dreams from the trip Went wakeboarding yesterday so I didn't really have any time to make entries.

      7:00 - Got back from wakeboarding and went to a movie with a friend
      7:15 - Missed the movie so I drove over to Village Inn and ate a bunch of unhealthy food (probably messed up my dreams)
      8:30 - Got back and cleaned the boat
      9:30 - Had to go make a campfire for my sister and her friend so they could make s'mores (I had 4 s'mores, further adding to a terrible day of eating)
      10:30 - Got ready for bed
      11:00 - Went to bed with binaural beats
      9:00 - Got up after a night where I can't remember anything

      Well, yesterday was pretty bad in terms of dreams. For one thing I was exhausted and another thing I ate really unhealthy.
      My intake that day pretty much consisted of this...
      -Beef jerkey
      -Donuts
      -Vanilla Coke
      -More beef jerkey
      -Chips
      -Sour Patch Kids
      -Double Cheesburger / onion rings and lemon pie
      -S'mores

      But fear not! That doesn't happen very often. Now I am off to finally record all those dreams.

      Well, once again another day where I didn't have any time to record my dreams. I was busy making the house look nice cause we had guests coming over.

      From the night before...

      8:30 - OJ, Apple, Apple Juice, Milk - Shoot Hoops
      10:00 - Come back in and get ready fo bed
      10:30 - Vitamins with glass of water
      11:00 - Go to bed with binaural beats
      2:30 - Woke up and got a drink but went back to bed and forgot to restart binaural beats so I didn't wake up again
      Got up at 6:30

      Well, I was planning on writing down all the dreams I had on my trip today but I was really busy and pretty much got done with work at about 7:00, then had to go make dinner. By that time I was ready to begin my sleep routine so I didn't write anything down and just got on to write notes.

      So last night I got back into my regular routine...
      8:30 - OJ, Apple juice, milk, Apple - Go shoot hoops
      10:00 - Come back in and get ready for bed
      10:43 - Vitamins with glass of water
      11:00 - Go to sleep with binaural beats
      2:00 - Wake up and begin next sleep cycle
      5:00 - Wake up and start alarm
      First Alarm - Wake up and have a dream fresh in my mind
      Go back to sleep and recognize when I have re-entered the dream, becoming lucid
      Wake up randomly for some reason and accidentally shut off alarm
      7:00 - Get up

      Well, I am very happy right now because it seems that as long as I give myself adequate sleep, I can have a lucid every night!!! I just need to work on staying calm during them so I quit waking up so soon. It is kind of strange but I think my first one is still the best. Just can't wait to accomplish my goals in a lucid dream!!

      Well I just got back from a trip across the state and man was it awesome! Turns out my dad is actually real good friends with one of the founders of Sega of America. This same guy was also the CEO for 8 years! The funny thing is, my dad thought nothing of it until he mentioned it to me one day and I practically had a heart attack. I mean, SEGA, and he is pals with the former CEO?!?!?!?! So anyways, I got to meet him and it was awesome. Now when I go to get a job there, I have the ultimate reference to add to my portfolio.

      So how was this vacation in terms of dreams? JUST AS AWESOME!

      Ok, so I finally had some more lucid dreams during this trip. I really don't know what was different but man. Now it's like I can just have a lucid dream whenever I want!
      Here is how the trip went...

      Night one - I get my own room at the hotel so I can focus on dreaming. I go to bed with binaural beats and wake up at 2:00. Decide to go for another cycle before starting the alarm. Wake up again at 4:30 and am able to recall a dream very clearly. I decide to just focus intently on remembering to notive when I am back in this setting and then I will know I am dreaming. It worked perfectly! (will explain the dream in separate entry) The alarm goes off waking me up. I go back to sleep and try and re-enter the dream. Instead however, I have a false awakening and notice that my room is wierd. I notice this and become lucid for a short time.

      Night two - Didn't have my own room so I just went to bed

      Night three - Same

      Night four - Same

      Night five - We are now back at the first hotel and I am super excited to try the same thing out again. I go to bed with binaural beats. Wake up at 2:30 and go for another cycle. Wake back up at 5:00 and focus on noticing when I am back in the same dream setting. It works again!!!!!!!!!!!! By this time I am so excited that I seemed to of found a reliable method of lucid dreaming I wake up very quickly from the dream.
      I will make separte entries for all the dreams tomorrow.

      Well, now that I seem to be able to have a lucid dream when I want to I can finally get along with my tasks for lucid dreaming.

      1. Remember to stabalize the dream as soon as I become lucid so that I can actually carry on with my goals.
      2. There is someone I have been wanting to meet now in a lucid dream, which is actually kind of why I got into it in the first place. My goal is to find them and finally achieve this goal.

      SO EXCITED!!!!!!

      Ok so last night was REALLY bad in terms of my sleep schedule. It is kind of embarassing to say but this is what happened...

      So it is about 8:30 and I am just about to go have my nightly milk, OJ, apple juice,a dn banana. Right when I go to turn off the monitor though, a Steam notification pops up. One of my friends just got on and wanted to talk. So I get on Steam and start talking to him. In my head I keep thinking.. Ok, just one more message and then I am going to go start my nightly routine. Well, basically this 'one more message' ended up going on for 3 more hours! So ya, it was about midnight by the time I finally went to bed. *major facepalm*

      In terms of sleep, I was really tired and went to sleep fast. For some reason whenever I am super tired no amount of binaural beats can wake me up so I just slept right through the whole night and didn't wake up and start the alarm or anything. So ya... bad night last night.

      So TONIGHT however... I am back in the swing of things and getting ready to head off to dreamland. SO EXCITED FOR THE NEXT LUCID!

      11:00 - Go to bed with binaural beats
      3:30 - Woke up, recorded dreams, and started the alarm
      Had a false awakening during this time
      8:00 - Get up

      False awakening...
      Well, I am really excited about this because the alarm gave me another false awakening. The only upsetting part is that I didn't do the reality check despite training myself to do so. The false awakening didn't go exactly as planned so I kind of missed my cue to do the RC. Besides that though, I am really happy that this alarm is giving me more false awakenings. I truly belive this alarm is going to get me having a lot of lucid's once I start realizing when I am in a false awakening, and when I am actually awake.

      Well, last night was one of those nights where nothing good really happened. But, here's how it went...

      8:45 - OJ, Apple juice, milk, apple (ran out of bananas)
      9:00 - Shot hoops and went for run
      10:00 - HUGE THUNDERSTORM starts up so the whole house is still up watching the weather
      11:00 - Storm still raging, takin gout the power and stuff
      11:30 - Ya, still going
      11:45 - Vitamins and glass of water
      12:00 Storm finally stops and the power comes back on. I update my dream journal and go to bed with binaural beats
      8:00 Wake up

      Well, last night I can't really recall many dreams. I think it is because my earbuds fell out early on and the beats weren't on. Those help me tremendously. I also didn't wake up last night and turn the alarm on for the same reason. And, I have been told that at about 3:00 the storm came back with some thunder. not enough to wake me up apparently, but enough to disturb any deep sleep w/ dreams. So ya, last night wasn't too great but I am DETERMINED to get this alarm working and have some more lucids.

      Well, unfortunately I was out of town AGAIN yesterday, and just got back a little bit ago, hence the late entry. I keep having to go on all these little trips that are really screwing up my sleep schedule and I am not able to consistently expirement with the alarm or work on any techniques. I think I may have gone backwards a little bit in terms of how close I am coming to success with having another lucid dream. Man, I am so excited for the next one cause now I have it worked out what I'm going to do. Just need a good solid week where I can get in my normal routine again.

      Right now I am working on reality checks at key points of the day. The main ones I am working on are whenever I wake up, there is a big scenery shift (going outside / inside), or I go through a doorway. Also I am working on using this alarm. So far I have been able to wake up and turn it on each night I have had a chance to use it except for once. It has also been really good about actually waking me up each time like it is supposed to. The first couple of nights I used it, i had false awakenings like crazy. As soon as I had trained myself to do an RC whenever I wake up though, it seems like my brain is just playing a mean trick on me and the alarm hasn't given me a false awakening since. So that is pretty much all I am waiting on at this point. i think though that if I don't have another lucid soon I am going to look into some other techniques but right now I am really hoping to get this alarm working.

      Well, I am really tired so I'm going to bed. Really hope this timer gives me another false awakening because I think i am trained now to take that and turn it into a lucid dream!! Wish me luck.

      Wel I guess thig goes to show that the binaural beats really are helpful in making sure I wake up after a REM cycle. I forgot to turn 'em on last night and didn't wake up once. Wel, that I can remember anyways. This means that I also didn't get to use the alarm last night. Overall though, I had some vivid dreams but man... I am so excited for another lucid!!!!!!!

      So we had some guests over last night and they stayed until this morning so I basically forgot all of my dreams from last night.

      Anyways...

      9:30 - Shot some hoops and went for a bike ride. ( I think I am going to make this a habit. It's nice exercising at night when it isn't hot)
      10:00 - Banana, OJ, Apple juice, milk
      11:00 - Vitamins with big glass of water
      11:30 - Fell asleep with binaural beats
      4:00 - Woke up and started alarm
      Got up at 7:30

      Dreams...
      Last night I know I had a ton of really vivid dreams. I'm just really hoping that I didn't have a lucid and forget it. I got up this morning but didn't have time to record anything so I forgot it all. The alarm also worked quite well again. I was woken up from it each time. I don't think it gave me a false awakening though. For some reason now that I trained myself to do an RC when I wake, now the alarm isn't giving me false awakenings. Grrr.... Oh well, it's bound to start happening soon. So ya... just hope the alarm thing starts giving me false awakenings again. I am sooooooo close to having lucids consistently as long as this alarm keeps giving me false awakenings.

      It was a really beautiful night with a full moon that I just couldn't waste. I went outside and shot some hoops. Didn't even need to turn on the lights! Then I went for a bike ride for a couple of miles.

      11:00
      Came back in and got ready for bed.

      11:30
      Vitamins with big glass of water.

      11:45
      Fell asleep to binaural beats.

      2:30
      Woke up after a bunch of fantastic dreams.
      Started the alarm.

      Got up at 8:00

      Alarm...
      Last night I successfully was woken up by the alarm each time. Also, I did a reality check each time too! I didn't have a lucid last night though because I never had a false awakening from the alarm to do a reality check. I did have two dreams however where I became lucid for a second but then woke up. Doesn't count though. Boy am I excited about this alarm thing though. I am really good about RC's now whenever I get out of bed so as long as this alarm gives me some more false awakenings... I am set and ready to roll!!!!
