The Metamorphosis of Code (May 31)

Well, last night I had a pretty interesting dream. The first thing I remember is that
I was working on my Sonic fan game in our shop we have at our farm. It was wierd though
because instead of typing up code on the computer I was servicing our front end loader! However
for some reason this loader represented my code and I thought nothing of it at the time.
(too bad b/c that would be a good 'wtf?" moment for a lucid)

Anyways, then my programming teacher just randomly walked in and I showed him all the progress I had
made on my game since the last time he saw it. I remember walking him through everything I had
done the day before in real life. (hehe I really DO dream in code sometimes. )

I remember telling him all about how I had gotten acceleration, firction, and deceleration finished
and that I was working on calculating some angular velocities w/ Trig. I also remember telling
him about some code that my friend had written for file saving / reading.

After this I was now randomly in my room watching a video about a guy explaining his game he was making
that was a tower defense game. I think that I was dreaming this because in real life a friend and I are making
one of these as well, once I finish up my Sonic fan game. It was pretty interesting because in this video the guy
was explaining all the cool game elemtns he had implemented, such as being able to take control of one of your units
to fight the bad guys. He also had parallax scrolling and stuff like that, and all of this is stuff that we are going to put
into our game using the engine I have for my Sonic game.

Overall, these dreams weren't exactly thrilling, but it was cool to be able to work on my code while I was alseep.

    See ya
