Fragment of Dreams
Lucid: Nope Dream Aids: Calea Zacatechichi, Melatonin Vividness: Not great Dreamsign Lucidity For dream memories that are just too vague, I think I'll keep them in one entry per night. Fragment 1: I vaguely remember being at work and serving this obnoxious lady. Also one of my roommates was working there with me even though in waking life he works elsewhere. Fragment 2: I was down south at home and found out that Frank Zappa was giving three concerts on the East Coast. I guess apparently he had come back from the dead to play a few shows. I was bummed because I couldn't make it to any of them.
Lucid: Nope Dream Aids: None Vividness: Not very Dreamsign Lucidity Another fragment unfortunately, but I'll take whatever I can get. I was driving up Main Street in my car at night, when all of a sudden after making a wrong turn it was daylight and I was in a completely exotic area. It almost looked like a walking tour of the jungle or something. After reaching the top a bunch of extended family members I haven't seen in a while were there waiting for me. We started chatting about something but I can't remember what exactly, the memory fades after that. It seems that in addition to seeing people I don't see very often in dreams, there are some contextual dreamsigns as well. The first highlight in this dream has to do with sudden and drastic changes in setting. This happens to me fairly often, I'll be in one setting and suddenly after one minor action will find myself in a completely different one. The other one I can think of right now is minor changes in a familiar setting. Last time I became lucid it was because I was in my own apartment, but all of the furniture was mixed up and put together differently. When something gets created from my memory it seems to come out very inverted.
Lucid: No Dream Aids: Not a one Vividness: Not great Dreamsign Lucidity This was a short fragment. It was an overcast day, but not too inclement. Nevertheless, by a rock face we were seeing little white tornadoes break out every so often. Not dangerous or anything, they'd just move around a bit before dissipating. The waves were also very strange. Despite the distinct lack of wind there would be huge waves. But not exclusively. The waves were completely random. Huge ones would be followed by tiny ones, or anything in between. It made for very difficult swimming.

Lucid: Nope Dream Aids: None Vividness: Not great Dreamsign Lucidity I was tossing a tiny football around with two old friends that I haven't seen in probably 10+ years (possible dreamsign? this seems to happen fairly often). My overall form was much better than it would have been in waking life. Then a cousin of mind came over with some people I work with (an odd combination), and asked if I wanted to explore an abandoned building. We walked over to it. The building itself wasn't very exciting at all, and just smelled really bad. This segued into another more interesting dream.

Lucid: Not in the slightest Dream Aids: None Vividness: Pretty faded Dreamsign Lucidity All I remember from this one is being in the middle of fighting a sorcerer. No idea what for, other than the the fact that he was trying to kill me. It was a very intense setting, which reminds me in retrospect of the climax of an action movie. We started off in a large and fancy foyer with a marble artistic motif, perhaps in a mansion. I shot at him with a gun but it had no effect. Someone yelled that the only way to kill him was to stab him in the heart. A difficult task because he was much faster and stronger than I was. It took every ounce of effort I had in that foyer not to get killed, and eventually retreated exhausted. I found my way into a surreal and trippy conveyor belt about 10 meters wide and carrying a bunch of strangely shaped objects to an unknown location. Aside from this windy conveyor belt, everything surrounding me was completely black, infinite space. The sorcerer found me there and the fighting continued again, this time on slowly moving ground. I kept trying to make my way towards the end of this conveyor belt, hopping from object to object while avoiding his attacks. His regular mode of attack involved shooting some form of energy at me which I'd dodge, and then swiftly appearing right next to me to slice me in two with his massive sword. Had he been more offensive he could have killed me in seconds, seems he was just toying with me. At one point during one of his charges he miscalculated and gave me a chance to push him off balance. He fell off the platform we were on and got electrically shocked after falling to the belt itself. He bounced back up completely stunned and immobile. I got a small dagger out and plunged it into his heart, waking up pretty much instantly after that happened. This was an atypical dream for me, usually the content of my non-lucids are much more grounded in the mundane happenings of everyday life. This surreal setting is certainly a welcome change!
