In this dream I was apparently married (and had a child?) with a woman that in real life I never seen before.

Me and my "wife" were walking around our fenced in backyard looking for something. I noticed a large hole under the fence. I panicked because it looked like a large animal had been digging its way into our yard and before I could say anything we were under attack by two coyotes. One went after her and one jumped into the air going for my neck. I grabbed it in mid air by the fur and slammed it to the ground. As soon as it got back to its feet it ran away.

I saw my wife had broke free from her attack and ran to the house. I slowly went in that direction too. I was scared but didn't run because I thought showing fear would provoke another attack.

I finally got to the back porch and could hear more of them closing in on me. I quickly went for the door but it was locked! I pulled out a set of keys and moved as quick as I could to unlock the door then slam it shut behind me.

Once I got inside I vaguely remember a child (mine?) that was concerned about my safety.
