Cities in the Astral

08-03-16 DILD Getting back in to the swing of this. I was in a non-lucid and coming toward Grandma's house. It was clear that the 3 houses next to hers were missing. Could there have been a disaster? No, there is no rubble and the ground has weeds growing. The houses are just gone. I do a general RC (do not know how I got here, must be a dream) and realize this is a dream. It actually is a wonderfully clear and vivid dream, which little darkness. All right! This is more like it. I want to examine this scene as I think this may be some sort of symbolic deeper thing. Instead of going to her house I walk to the next house and see a DC. I asked what happened and the lady just tells me the house is selling for $20K. This gives me the idea that this must be something like the past, possibly long before I was born. I decide to go back in time and see what my family was doing back then.
In Grandmas house a group of men are all working on what looks like capping a well head for plumbing. They do not seem to be able to see me, but I can see myself. I see my grandfather (who has passed) I walk into the next room and it looks as if there is some kind of funeral, but light hearted like a reception after the service. I seem to be visible now, as someone says "how are you doing uncle Rick" So it appears I am in the from of someone who should be there.
I find the young version of my mother and talk with her. We start walking and the scene changes to a waterfront. I tell that I am talking to her from the future using uncle Rick. She seems to believe me and asks If I have come to reassure her about the life I will be leading when she gives me up for adoption tomorrow. I was never adopted. This could be an interesting talk. I ask her if the family are intelligent, see hmmms, and haws. I ask her if they are hard workers with good ethics? She again does not seem positive. We walk and I contemplate if my real life could have gone this route. The dream ends.
