Cities in the Astral

08/06/13 So, lately one of my goals has been to learn to travel to the Astral city reliably on my own, with out a guide. As my last couple adventures showed me, I am lacking in language ability. I never realized I would be unable to communicate with some of the sentient life forms.
Last night, 2 dream guides came to me and proceeded to teach me weird stuff about how to communicate. I barely understood most of what they were showing me. I did understand a method they showed of projecting thought in a focused manner. It is new to me and probably only makes a little sense.
The worst part was that like any language lesson, it was all about repition. The dreams this caused were horrible. They were teaching me things so forigen to waking life that almost none of it translates into waking thought. They went on and on about what must be a concept like tenses. They would project at me like they wanted me to, then say something weird like, you can not express such thing as a probable, only use this to state a current fact,,, and so on.
My God, what a long night! Let's hope what ever the hell I spent half the night studying makes sense when I need it there, it surely makes little sense here.
