Cities in the Astral

01/18/15 I was trying to WILD and succeeded in getting out of bed and walking down my hall, then was back in my body. I got that far a second time. I realized I could hear the ferrets (5 pets) in the bedroom next door playing, so the noise was likely pulling me back. I decided to incorporate the ferrets into the WILD so my brain would think the noises were inside the dream. This time I got up (dream body) and walked down the hall intending on seeing what the ferrets were up too.

I got down the hall to their door and opened it. There is a baby gate across the door way. Suddenly the dream became fairly vivid, and I see dozens of ferrets running out of my room and up the hall towards me. They are stampeding over the baby gate to get into the ferret room. I step over the gate and see that now cats are coming. I find this all delightful and start laughing. The ferrets were running from the cats, I think, so I toss the cats out into the hall. Then a mid sized boxer dog is coming. I am having fun and take the cute dog and toss him out the window onto the lawn. A voice asks, "that is not nice, what if you hurt him?" I just chuckle knowing this is a dream.

I now leave the ferrets behind and try to think of TOTM. The only one I had planned on doing was fireworks, and I remember it. I go outside and my wife is now with me. I tell her I am going to shoot off fireworks. The neighbor boys are near by and come over to watch. I summon a large cardboard tube into my hands and point it skyward. I plan on it making a sound and jarring my hand a bit. It does not so I pretend that it did and summon a noise "phoof". I am now staring up and expecting an explosion in the air. Nothing happens, and one of the boys says "it is not working." I decide to believe it is working. I say, "No, it is just travelling up really far before going off, it is a huge firework."

Suddenly it goes off, but instead of the normal pattern it makes some psychedelic electrical pattern that branches across the sky. It is intense green and a bit like fractal art. I am very impressed as it covers about 1/4 of the sky. I repeat this and now the tube does make the sound and slightly jar my hand. This time it is faster and the pattern is bigger and bright red. I do this two more times.

I then went off and did other things, but did not pay too much attention after that.
