redisreddish's mess of dreams is still messy

Just a frag, and then a short but fun dream.

~Standing in the back yard, and a strong wind starts blowing. I look up and there's a tornado in the distance, but it's dark blue and there are rainbow flames shooting out of it. Someone had to yell at me to run because I just stood and stared at it.

~I'm a mermaid, swimming through some body of water surrounded by a bunch of houses. Out of nowhere, a flamingo starts chasing me, and I have to get away from it, because flamingos eat mermaids... obviously. I eventually swim around a post thingy enough times so that the flamingo gets dizzy and goes away. I keep swimming and find a merman with a shiny golden tail, and white hair with gold streaks in it. He teaches me different ways to swim. I leave after a while and go into a house that's half underwater. Some little girl (or something else disguised as a little girl... ) then starts trying to catch me. I swim all around the half of the house that's underwater--through doorways, around furniture, all over the place--until the little girl suddenly clutches her throat and swims frantically away, apparently realizing she can't breathe underwater. I notice that my scales are shining dark blue.
