      Fragment: Warriors For Hire

      Warriors are needed for some kind of job or task. I can't help but thinking of Raven, MoSh, Nomad, and the rest of the gang.

      Fragment: The End of the Beginning of the End that Started it All

      On a certain day, at a specific time, in a definite place, good would be pit against evil in a battle for the world's soul, or something like that. It turned out to be much more small scale than that, though.

      Dream: Horsing Around
      ★★★☆☆
      Enjoying a fun game of HvZ, I soon discover three prized horses have been stolen! We put the game on pause and begin tracking them down. I end up finding them in, and I quote, "One of my favorite HvZ hiding places," which turned out to be a broken down silo. Sending out a mass text, I joined the horde as we converged upon the silo, surrounding the thieves and blocking all escape routes.

      Confronting them, I use my TK to pull them and their saddles off the horses and into the water. One is a friend of my girlfriend and thinks my girlfriend is responsible for the TK antics, so I just keep letting them believe that as I screw with them some more.

      Eventually we return the horses and strap permanent saddles on them covered in nails to prevent future theft.

      Dream: New Music
      ★★☆☆☆
      A bunch of "famous" musicians have invited me to join an experimental band they were forming. Accepting their invitation, I got to emulate playing Bass and Drums at the same time using a very odd instrument. The music we ended up producing drew elements from Indie, Metal, and Classic Rock, and actually sounded really good.

      I was in a really big vacant hotel/house (like The Shining) that was filled with ghosts. I saw several of them. Later, I was walking down a creek, with many people, most of which was unfamiliar with.

      There was some strange lady at a podium discussing this new 'rock/circular mechanical device' that you stick into your ear, and you can hear other people's thoughts. I put it into my ear and was able to hear quiet, mysterious whispering.

      I was skateboarding down a street. Someone said something about another someone going to University of Wisconsin. My friend Sam calls me to find out who, but I'm busy Skateboarding. I get onto the Highway ad switch to Rollerblades (Which I DO know how to ride)

    4. We are FLYING: RPG dream

      A bunch of people say let's have an RPG dream.

      I turn into a dream octopus. Every arm is holding a different dream-bubble. The worlds appear different, but they are all the same basic theme:

      I am a flying steed: a dragon, a pterodactyl, a great bird, a bat-creature, a dragonfly. Other dreamers get on my back. We sky battle. We go to a floating island in the sky. We battle the boss.

      The boss is a fat steampunk robot. Inside it's being controlled by a little man, which is me.

    5. Unfortunate Timing

      Notes:
      The thing I hate about lucid dreams is that, sometimes, your brain happens to switch on as soon as the dream's ending. Anyways, I was watching the pilot of this intense show called Lie to Me yesterday, so I guess that's where the dream content came from.

      I was in the basement of my house. The lights were made from steel, and they were modern-looking fat cylinders that hung from the ceiling. But the lighting in the room was dim, as if someone had turned the dimmer switch almost all the way down. That was okay though, because I was sitting in one of two brown suede couches, both reclined, watching my mom put a DVD into the player. The television moniter was already on, and it was flashing white light every few seconds. Flash. Flash.

      As soon as she inserted the player, the movie started, but I wasn't interested in watching anything. Instead, I got up and sat behind the couch I was just on. "Mom," I told her, "since you're the one who chose the movie, we've probably seen it way too many times." I picked up a DVD case with a label sort of like this:


      Of course, it wasn't exact and was probably distorted, because it was a dream. I then realized this and gained lucidity, but two seconds later I felt the dream ending. "Crap".

      My DEILD attempt ended in failure.

    6. First Lucid Dream

      As of right now I am on vacation, very far from home. I had woken up at about 4:00 A.M. After realizing that I am totally awake I listen to music for a little while and go to the bathroom. I'm chilling out there for a little while - about an hour. So now it's a little after 5:00 A.M. and I lay back down because I am slightly tired...

      Now I close my eyes, and soon I get these visions. I saw my mom in a hall way that was non-existant in real life and she told me she is here on vacation with me now. My mom was about a 7 hour drive away, and I know that she wasn't coming. The extra hallway and the fact that it was 5:00 in the morning made me realize that those "visions" weren't real. In this dream state I also tried looking at my phone, but my eyes were stuck shut and extremely hard to open. My concious mind was still there though. I knew this was my chance. I relaxed and let it take me to some place. In almost no time I saw a forest take place in front of me. I look to my right and I'm moving in exess of 100mph+ down a road, just hovering above it. There was no wind resistance and it felt like room temperature. I then noticed that there was a forest on both sides of the road and the road seemed to go on to infinity. Looking back to my left, I drifted to the right side of the road, and I was now moving on a 45 degree angle in to the woods. Normally I would have paniced because going backwards, and blindly into a forest at that speed you would be guarenteed to hit a tree. I knew it was only a dream, so I remained calm. The hovering stopped and I landed firmly on both feet. I could now jump very high and fly, but I noticed the higher I got, the more my testicles hurt. Yeah, my testicles. I thought I was laying down in a bad position and forced myself to wake up. It was hard though, it took at good 10-15 seconds to leave the dream. And that was it.

At this point I knew I could leave this particular dreamscape because everytime I become lucid that does cross my mind but I preferre to see were my own subconscious was planing on taking me so I catch the first currnt and for how small and unnoticable they were, they actully moved me across the surface of thr water pretty quick. As I catch the first one, my friends cheered , claped, hugged each other and one of them actully started making out with another one (there was probably beer involved. me and abunch of friends do go on the boat on the weekends. They are a craziy bunch) Anyway, I made it into a very small, murky grey bit of water surounded by tree's and plants. It was dark but still daylight and I felt as though something was in the water with me. The water under me was very deep and I got off the board to see if I could stand in it. I could but it was up to my neck and what I was standing on felt like it was moving and alive. I quickly jumped out of the water and stopped investigating the water, I could tell I did not want to know what was under the water. A couple of feet away, there was another little tiny bit of shallow water on the forest floor and a small grey allagator was resting in the middle of it. The creature was not your typical gator. It was shorter in lenth but had more bulk. He almost looked like a huge version of what we in the south call a horned lizard



      This creatue sat and look at me, looked up at what looked to bats flying under a small canopy that the lizard sat under. About 5 feet over his head. One bat came down, too close and the beast attacked. A firey whip tounge came from its mouth and touched it's prey in a way that just singed it enough for it to fall strait to mouth. I was still lucid and the fire made me remember one of the challenges! To create and control fire with my mind, I went big this time. I consintrated and could feel my body heating up. It was hot and hurt. I could feel some burning pain. Fire bursted out of me in an Atomic explosion and the entire forest was destroyed. Sand tured to glass beneith my feet. Everything around me was dead and I could see the lake. I walked to the edge of a rocky cliff. looked down and saw that I was high above the lake. I could see my friends in the boat and they were being attacked by what looked like a giant Grouper. I walked away and tryed to manifest myself into a mushroom patch. It did not work and everytime I opened my eyes, I couild see only one mushroom on the ground surounded by grass. The rest of my dream was me playing cards. I do that sometimes because I play the game so much in reality. The lizard in the dream had some aligator features but just looked distorted. Horned lizard was the best desciption.

      I have not been having the best LD's latly due to how much stress I go though on a daily basis but things do change. I'm suprised I was even able to become Lucid with how stressed I am.

      Also, the ppl in the boat were not my typical friends that I go out with. I did not know them.
      I;m going to go look a images of Mushroom patches now.

    9. Bass Comic Fragment and Car Fire Fragment

      1. I'm reading a comic targeted at bass players, in some world where music is much more prevalent than it is here. Tabs are printed in comics like the one I'm reading, and the lessons show different famous groups' interpretations of the same song (Thelonious Monk's ensemble, as an example). The other page of the comic has parody scenes of real world comics, including a Peanuts parody in which Snoopy is preparing for anal sex. There are words printed, so I fail that reality check chance.

      2. I see, in sequence, two car accidents. The first is horrible and flaming, but the only other spectators are a car of punk kids wearing sunglasses at night. They deem the chaos "awesome," and their dad, driving in the front seat, cries behind his own sunglasses. Secondly, I come across another flaming crash. This time, I go to help, but the passengers (all women) are unhurt and manage to walk out easily, disdaining my efforts to help.

    10. LD 6 - Alarm Clocks

      Dream Intent: I first tried to fly, and then went on to try to have my subconscious call up specific dream characters.

      Dream Control: I attempted to fly through a close opaqued window, but it merely turned membranous and repelled me. After that decided to summon dream characters, but none of them were of interest to me, not fitting the requirements of what I was looking for. I should have been more specific or forceful. But I didn't want to control too much of the creation. So no go.

      Dream End: Throughout dream ringing of my alarm clock was going on, I couldn't shut it off. So just ignored it, or suffered through it. But at one point my second alarm clock kicked in, and I woke up immediately. Not 100% awake, but not tired either.

      Dream End: For some reason I stopped doing that and started exploring, and I think that was when lucidity drifted away from my control, and I segued into normal dreams.

      Dream End: I was flying through a multicolored starburst field, and decided to fly outwards into deep, dark space. And as it got darker and darker I guess the dream faded and I awoke in the darkness of my room, 100% awake. In the last flying part of my dream I hadn't thought to do any stabilization techniques.

      Dream End: Things started going dark and transition right into a very wide awake state in my bed, 100% awake in fact.
