I don't remember waking up AT ALL last night. 1- Sumo Wrestler This dream takes place several years into the future. What ever endeavor my brother has set out to do didn't work, and he has returned in hopes of moving back in with my parents. They say that they were planning on someone else moving in, and he'd have to compete with the other guy to see who gets the extra room. "Fair enough, who is he?" Suddenly this HUGE sumo wrestler comes into the room and sits down at the table. I burst into laughter. 2- Elephants I am trying to get up a hill for some sort of quest, but there are predators all around, waiting to eat me. The only way I can get to the top is by traveling underneath a herd of elephants. ((What is it with me and elephants lately??? At least these weren't trying to kill me.)) 3- Mortal Mist Dream Games I make a post on MM, describing some dream games I came up with. I say that the games were inspired by The Cusp, because of a post he made about something similar. 4- Serenity Something vague about Serenity. We were talking about something, but I can't remember what. The annoying thing is, I remember having that feeling of excited realization that comes with being lucid, but I can't remember having a lucid dream at all! Maybe something during the day will make me remember.
Note: I fell asleep tonight with a couple of goals. My first goal was that I was going to meet MoSh's guide and talk to him for a bit. I also have the continuing goal of sharing a DDO dream with Tigress. While I did have a DDO dream, I didn't manage to share it with Tigress… I am also wanting to open the locked book I found in the Akashic Records (still haven't even tried) and complete a task of the month and… and… the list goes on and on. Time to get on with the dreams for this night… I was in a place I didn't recognize. It was a nice place. Green grass, trees… I could see houses not far off, so I wasn't sure if I was in someone's yard or not. If it was a yard, it was a very nice one. I started walking around in the yard. There was a pond there with some ducks in it. I wished I had some bread to feed them. There was a little girl watching the pond. She turned to me and smiled. She called me Raven and said if I was looking for MoSh, he was in the house. She headed for the house. I wasn't sure if she wanted me to follow her or not, but she quickly disappeared. I was unable to follow her, so I continued looking at the pond. It was very relaxing. "Raven?" came a voice from behind me. I turned to see who it was. It was MoSh! Right here with me! MoSh! I went over to see him. I told him I couldn't believe I was actually getting a chance to meet him IWL! I said I had met him many times in dreams, but never IWL! But here he was… and this wasn't a dream… or… um… I wasn't fully convinced that it wasn't a dream. I did a RC and found out I was dreaming. "Shit!" I said, "This is a dream!" I stopped and thought about that statement… it being a dream isn't a bad thing, that means I am now lucid in a dream. The only bad part was that I wasn't really meeting MoSh IWL. I told MoSh that it was a dream and asked if he knew it was a dream. I told him to do a RC, get lucid, and remember me! MoSh looked at his hand for a moment… then he said he wanted to talk to Victor. I asked who Victory was. He said it was his guide. I remembered the goal of finding MoSh's guide and talking to him. MoSh called him a couple of times. I wondered if Victor was able to hear MoSh just yelling. I scanned the area for energy signatures… ducks… fish… Asuka… Shawna… someone I didn't recognize! The energy of the person I didn't recognize didn't seem hostile… and it was heading towards MoSh and me, so I just had to wait for a bit. I waited for a bit while MoSh was still calling, and soon a man appeared in front of us. The man had dark hair that was down to about the bottom of his ears, he had a short beard, he had on a pair of glasses at the time and peered at MoSh over the top of those glasses. He told MoSh he didn't have to call so loud, just do it telepathically. He looked over at me. He asked what MoSh needed. MoSh introduced me to the man, who was Victor, MoSh's current guide. MoSh said he wanted to talk to Victor, but he probably wouldn't remember it… Victor just looked at MoSh strangely. MoSh asked Victor what the plan was. Victor asked what plan. MoSh said what did Victor have planned for him. Victor laughed a bit and said he hadn't come here with a plan all laid out and intentions to force MoSh to go one particular way. He said his only goal was to help MoSh as he travels along his path of discovery… but where that path would lead would be entirely MoSh's choosing. MoSh asked why he didn't seem to be able to get lucid lately. Victor said MoSh shouldn't stress so much about becoming lucid. He said that stress alone is enough to hinder MoSh from becoming lucid. MoSh didn't seem to appreciate that answer. He said that was easy for Victor to say not to stress about it, but not so easy to do. Victor said it is worth a try, meditation and relaxation, because stress is a hindrance to lucidity. Victor said if there is something important to be done, MoSh is perfectly capable of doing it in his deep dreaming state, just relax and let the dreams flow to him, and he would begin to recognize the distinct feeling of the dream plane. Victor said if MoSh wanted to be lucid more often, he needs to be more aware of everything around him, but in dreaming and in waking. Subtle clues will always give the dream state away… differences in locations if MoSh was traveling to a parallel world… a different feeling when MoSh wasn't in his physical body but just in his dream body. He said becoming more aware of everything around MoSh would work like a constant reality check, so he would immediately notice any inconsistency that might signal that it is a dream. MoSh shook his head and said reality checks don't work for him. Victor asked if that meant MoSh was refusing to do any RCs. MoSh repeated that RCs don't work for him. Victor said this isn't so much of a RC method as a method of recognizing the distinct feel of the dream plane. He said MoSh should take a short time IWL to just take in everything his senses can receive, see how everything feels… then, once in the habit of taking a moment to just feel what his senses can tell him, MoSh would do that in a dream, and the feeling would be distinctly different. He said MoSh is already doing that sometimes, the times where he finds himself spontaneously lucid without ever having questioned reality. He said that is where MoSh's subconscious recognizes the different feel of the dream. He said it should help for MoSh to use that technique consciously. MoSh looked over at me. He didn't seem too pleased. He said he'd been hoping to get something useful out of his guide… I commented that he should be lucid right now… he said nope, he wasn't. That statement made no sense… how could he realize he was speaking to his guide in a dream and not consider himself lucid? I told him he was dreaming, so become lucid now. Do a RC. He looked at his hand for a bit, then pointed at Victor with his pinky. Victor's appearance changed into a spectral cloud of energy. Blues and whites flashed around inside Victor. MoSh stopped pointing and Victor went back to his normal form. Victor was looking at MoSh strangely. I said now all MoSh needed to do was remember this dream, and maybe take a moment to see how the dream feels. He looked at me and said he wouldn't remember the dream. I asked why not. He said he wouldn't, then he disappeared. D'Oh! Where had he gone? Woken up? I looked at Victor for a bit before I woke.
Note: A few more fragments of dreams from last night… *Government Goons* I was flying around, it seemed like I was continuing the previous dream. I still didn't realize it was a dream. I felt like I had spent quite some time using these powers I had discovered to help everyone. I had averted several disasters, stopped some assholes from releasing a bio-toxin that would have killed every living thing within a 100 mile radius of where it was released, cleaned up some pollution that was harming a group of whales and sunk a whaling boat… basically I had earned myself quite a name (even though they didn't even know my name) as a hero all around that planet. I received a call from help from a building, something about setting off a dirty bomb… so I went to check it out. When I got there, however, there was no bomb, no threat, just a bunch of idiots in suits. Government lackeys. One of them said he hadn't known how else to get me to come. I was annoyed at him for the false alarm. He said he had to talk to me, it was important. I figured I'd listen a bit… He continued talking and basically said he wanted me to work for the government. Um… no. I said I would like for him go over to the window I had broken to get in and jump out, but was that likely to happen? The office was on the 54th floor of a skyscraper… The man said for me to be reasonable, there was a lot of money in it for me. Money? He was pissing me off. I wasn't interested in money! What would I need money for? I told the jerk to go fuck himself. I headed for the broken window. The man was behind me, demanding that I stop. He grabbed my robes (I was dressed as an Assassin) as I was taking flight, lost his balance, and fell out of the window. I realized that when I heard him screaming on his way down. I looked just in time to see him hit the ground with a sickening THUD noise. He was, of course, dead. So he had walked to the broken window and jumped out after all… *Eegee's Pub* I was on the street in a downtown area. It was a normal looking city, could have easily been any city in the US or in multiple places around the world. I was feeling kind of hungry. I wanted something to eat. I went around a corner and I spotted an Eegee's sandwich shop there. A nice sub sandwich sounded good. I looked in my pocket and saw that I had some money in my pocket. I had a twenty dollar bill, so I went into the Eegee's to get some food. Inside the restaurant I looked around at the posted ads on the walls to see what kind of sandwich looked good. I was wondering what drink I wanted with it. I saw a poster for drinks. There were several kids holding various alcoholic drinks. I saw my mother was in the Eegees. I asked her if kids should be used to advertise alcohol? My mom said it was no big deal since the kids were drinking the virgin forms of the drinks. *We All Scream for Ice Cream* I was in a mansion. It was clearly obvious that the people living there had a lot of money. Everything was so fancy. I wondered why I was there. I wasn't lucid, and I was hoping I wouldn't get in trouble for trespassing. A man came downstairs. He looked right at me… then away. Either my presence there was completely acceptable or he didn't see me at all somehow. I followed him. He went into a dining room. He sat down at the end of a large dining table with two children. A boy and a girl. He rang a bell, and a maid brought them ice cream sundaes. Those looked delicious. The man passed one to each child, kept one, then asked the maid what she had brought for herself. She looked confused. The man said in this job, she would have to get used to things. When he asked for food to be prepared, she was automatically invited to join them in eating it. The hired help was always invited to take meals with the family. The more, the merrier, was what he always said. The maid looked a bit uneasy, but she went and brought back a sundae for herself. She sat down with the others to eat it. At first she looked really uneasy, but soon all four of them were talking like a happy family. It was then that I noticed a little girl hiding behind the curtain at the far end of the room. I immediately knew she was an orphan. She was hiding in the walls and attic of the house for shelter, stealing food from the family to eat… but what she really wanted was a family. So she just stood there, looking longingly at the happy family eating ice cream, silently crying. I was also certain that if the man were to see her he would welcome her to the table to share ice cream with them. I found out no one could see me at all… but I could have some effect on things. Just enough to create a draft which blew the curtains away from the little girl, revealing her hiding place. The man spotted her, and she immediately looked terrified. The man took what was left of his sundae with him and slowly approached the girl. He was trying to coax her out. He finally set the dish of ice cream down and backed away, still encouraging the girl to come out.
I try to banish a spirit in the name of God. It works about as well as you'd expect. I'm at a train station, even though I'm sure that just a second ago, I was actually on my train. I shrug it off and try to get on the next one, but the conductor informs me that they don't allow dogs. I crouch down and hug my golden retriever, and we both stare up at him with sad puppy-eyes. The man rolls his eyes and tells me that I'll be able to get on the next train. I thank him and walk back to the platform, where the people I'm travelling with are waiting. Fortunately, they have to wait for the next train as well. We're on the train, but something's wrong. After a bit of investigation, we conclude that the entire train is haunted. Our team of Scooby-Doo-like investigators tracks it to its source - a bathroom in one of the sleeper cars. I'm chanting nonsense Latin, "Omnipitus spiritus, omnipitus draco lux."* I repeat the chant, but it doesn't seem to be working. In fact, the haunting seems to be getting worse, black smoke sneaking in through cracks in the bathroom mirror. The black smoke manifests over the vanity, and I catch a glimpse of a little boy in the mirror. The smoke lashes out at my companions, and distantly, I can sense the utter terror that they're beginning to feel. The girls are frozen, unable to move, and I... I just feel hungry. I've forgotten about the chant, and I fall silent and step toward the smoke. It shies away from me, tendrils retreating where I try to touch. No, that won't do at all. My hands lay at my side, but I'm latching onto the energy with my mind, pulling it toward me, devouring it. The black energy fades into my cloudy black and red aura, but I feel just a tiny wisp escape. The girls are catatonic, and I ignore them, stepping silently through the train cars, looking for my quarry. I see a white rabbit, my childhood pet, hopping through one of the train cars. I pick him up, but he starts squealing and twisting in my arms, trying to get away. He's scratching up my forearms and I wonder, dimly, if he's afraid of the dark presence that's been haunting the train. No, I realize. The last wisp of the ghost has possessed my rabbit. I pull the last bit of dark energy out of the animal, and consume it. The rabbit goes still. I try to resurrect him, but organs start to leak out of his belly, and the stitching is coming apart. *** "Can you help me?" says the boy. I'm possessing a ten-year old. Go me. Apparently, the White Council is after us, probably for something I did. Apparently you're not supposed to kill people in this world? Dresden comes back wearing some sort of ceremonial mask. I'm not paying attention, so the boy freaks out and runs away. He tries to hide in a storage closet, but Dresden catches the door and takes off his mask. "It's just me, kid." I take over and tell him that "I knew that". I'm Dresden, now. I'm inside my office, talking to Murphy. I say something about the White Council. I'm about to do something really stupid, and it'll probably involve explosions. Exorcisms. Scare Factor: 4. *Apparently, this is really close to the actual exorcism I was going for: ""Exorcizamus te, omnis immundus spiritus, omnis satanica potestas, omnis incursio infernalis adversarii, omnis legio, omnis congregatio et secta diabolica..."

In which Dad's driving lands the family in deep water. I think I saw this on Mythbusters once. "Are you ready to go?" "Give me five minutes, Dean - I just got off work." I head inside and pull off my white t-shirt, and get changed into a black t-shirt and jeans. When I come back outside, Dean (and his dad's truck) are gone. I call Sam, because Dean never answers his phone. He's laughing at me. "Did he just ditch you again?" "Apparently. That bitch." *** Uncle Roy and his daughter, Natasha (who appears to be about three, here), are running up backwards escalators that are taking them to our family reunion. I join in, jumping over railings and taking the most efficient route. I'm at the house, looking over the food table for vegetarian stuff. A younger version of myself is standing on the other side of the room. I go over to talk to zir*, but zie's avoiding me. Eventually we have to pose for a picture together, arms thrown across each other's shoulders. Well, the universe didn't explode, so we're doing fine. I think up elaborate reasons as to why there are two of us, but I don't remember what they were. *** I'm in the car with my dad and Roy's three daughters. They're all under ten in this dream. We're driving through a city, maybe Halifax, and I'm giving my dad directions from the back seat. "Okay, now you're in the wrong lane," I tell him. "Turn right here." The road takes us down to the harbour, and I tell my dad to turn left. Instead, he decides to do a powerslide down the dock. Oh god, oh god, we're all going to die. We've almost made it to 180 degrees, and I decide to trust my dad, because he's a better driver than I am, really. I'm still gripping tight onto the seat, watching the world spin around us. The momentum throws the car right off the dock. We land with a splash in the deep water, and I have a moment of disbelief. Seriously, my brother just totalled our last car.** Now this? I'm searching for my bag, knowing that there's something important in there. Found it. I'm holding a flashlight. My dad tells me to aim for the window controls next to me, and smash them with the flashlight. Three of us start pounding away at our respective window-ledges with our respective flashlights. I stop for a second and see pedestrians on the boardwalk, watching us dumbly. The car is half full of water by now, and I hope one of them has the sense to dial 911. I smash through the controls and the important wire. The window disappears. I help the girls out of the car, as the water has almost reached the window. I slide out of the window, and my dad is right behind me. I swim to the dock and pull an unresponsive (but physically unharmed) Natasha from the water. Later, I talk to someone about the reason I didn't panic. I shrug and tell him that I figured someone would rescue us if we couldn't get out. He's doubtful, but I tell him that it didn't have to be true - it was something I told myself so I'd be able to function. Sinking Cars. Scare Factor: 4. *ILU, gender-neutral pronouns. **No, really.
(I'm in college now, and I haven't been back home with my parents for over a year. It's a really long story.) I was back in the room I used to share with my sister until I was 10 and got my own room. I got up out of bed in the middle of the night, went to look in the bathroom mirror, and went downstairs. This one guy I ate lunch with most of last year was there. He was inviting me hiking with the rest of anime club and wanted my parent's permission before he asked me. Then, I was in that bedroom again. I was alternating between laying in bed and packing for hiking. There was no transition between the two. I blinked and switched from lights on and packing to lights off and laying in bed. I also wasn't wearing pants most of the dream for some reason. When I was downstairs was the only time I had pants.

Well I feel stupid for not going lucid last night...I thought about lucid dreaming multiple times, but I never thought about doing a reality check or even just questioning my surroundings' authenticity...even though I was in anything but normal places all night long. Even so, my dream recall is improving once again, as I can remember three different dreams this time. None of them can I remember in full, but it's definitely progress! And actually, as far as detail was concerned, there wasn't a whole lot to remember...strangely enough, all of my dreams last night were very simplistic in colorization and geometry. Buildings were flatly-colored boxes that occasionally took upon a bit of a texture when I got close. Vast fields were flat planes with little shading, never mind individual blades of grass. There wasn't even much of a sky to speak of; just a solid hue that eventually faded into existence somewhere off in the vast expanse of the dreamworld. Anyway, on to the dreams. Dream 1: I found myself to be Peter Petrelli in a city that was in big trouble. Huge mechs with guns were approaching the city boundaries, and it was clear what they intended to do: wipe out anything that got within ten feet of them. I used my various powers to rally up soldiers and pedestrians alike to help in preparing defenses for the place, but the mechs struck before we could finish putting the last reinforcements in place. Rather than let everyone be crushed with fear from the apparent failure, I used Mohinder's power (which false memory told me I had acquired) to jump across rooftops and freerun in impossible ways in order to reach a wall that was hanging in midair by a crane. In one motion, I jumped, pulled out a knife, cut the crane's cord, and then hung on to it as I watched the wall collapse on top of the approaching mechs. That did raise people's spirits for a while, but it didn't exactly change the tide of the war. It took a long while, but eventually everyone had been killed...soldiers and regular people alike. They just couldn't survive without powers like I had. So it was just me and the mechs. I refused to give in, even though it felt as if there was nothing left to fight for. Somehow or another I took out one of the remaining mechs, and eventually I got around to another. Then it was down to just one mech and me. But this last mech was the biggest one of them all. I hid around a corner and tried to peek around to watch its movements. All I got was a bunch of bullets nearly hitting me in the side of the face. Its reactions apparently were incredibly quick, too. I hid for quite some time, always dodging its presence...but sooner or later I got tired of waiting, so I jumped up onto the roof of the building in front of me, ran across the top, and then jumped for the mech, crying a vicious war cry all the way. We collided, and... I honestly have no idea how that dream ended. Seriously, that's all I remember. I know there was more to it; I didn't wake up right then, but what happened is lost on me. Dream 2: Had a false awakening. And a flood of false memories. My brain told me that I had been in a science test lab for a couple days and that they had developed a machine that could record your memories in full audio and video as you went to sleep. When I got out of the test bed and unhooked a bunch of sensory cables from my head, I went to the machine and started to replay the video from the beginning. I could hear my thoughts wandering and see a few minor images fading in and out of the blackness that began the sleep cycle. At first the thoughts made some sense, but then, gradually, they began to make less and less sense, and be less disorganized. Before long, my thoughts were all very scattered. Then things went silent, and the dream began to appear on the monitor. What was really interesting about that one is that the video was accurate to real life. As it 'replayed' everything for me, I honestly did remember thinking some of the things it had recorded. I think I honestly did tap into some deep and hidden memory of what went on as I fell asleep, and was able to bring it back in full detail in the form of a monitor inside another dream. Fascinating, actually. Dream 3: There was a huge family get-together. We went all over the place; restaurants, parks, possibly even a movie theater. And then we decided to go on a joyride in a big plane. Except as it turned out, only my dad and I were on the plane once we got on board. Other than that, it was totally empty. The plane took off and I looked out the window, and suddenly this great frustration grew inside me. "Flying is so much more enjoyable in a lucid dream." I said. "You don't need an airplane to fly, then. You're just free. It just feels frustrating to need an airplane; to be flying, but not out in the open." At first I tried to just enjoy the ride anyway, but I couldn't. I told my dad (who was also the pilot) to land, and I got off, angry at my inability to fly how I would prefer to. Dumbo...if you'd just realized where you were, you could have flown!!! Argh...
I've had a few dreams about rough looking wolves that bare their teeth at me. I've been studying lucid dreams for over 5 years now, and it even astonishes me to say that i still learn new things about it and learn new ideas/things you can do in the unconscious realm. I really want to have another lucid dream but it seems the harder i try, the further it gets from my grasp. A few nights ago i had a dream that i was in the woods somewhere on a cliff, by water. i had a slight sense of lucidity but felt i had to reach a destination via one of these paths through the woods. And there were soo many trees, i remembered they looked thin, stringy and very tall. I was running down a path and there was this sort of cave that seemed to lead to a whole nother set of secret paths. I went into the cave and encountered a wolf, it bared its teeth at me. I thought about how it might hurt to get bit by it, and i felt threatened, i was eating one of those push-up suckers (don't know where that came from, haven't even seen those in a while) and i let the wolf smell it, then i threw it as if to distract it so that i could continue on the path. I did some research [The Illustrated Dream Dictionary by: pamela ball] and it says that 'dreaming of any threat from sinister animals indicates fears and doubts the dreamer has over the ability to cope with the stirrings of the unconscious' wow... that suites because i am a little afraid of what i might learn/ come to face in the unconsciousness.

I was standing on my driveway talking to a group of people. Suddenly, we heard sirens that told us to 'Evacuate the Premises Immediately'. We all run to the fields because apparently there was someone after us? We weren't sure, but those were the reasons given to us. I kept running in the fields and noticed that the snow drifts were getting larger and larger, making it increasingly difficult to run up the hills. Out of breath, I finally stopped. I overheard someone I knew talking...I found her at the edge of the field talking about the evacuation. She said that the reason for it was because apparently the principle had an affair. I do a few back flips then leave (lol?). I decide to still walk the dog out in the fields. I'm sort of running (no snow anymore), and due to low gravity I'm sort of going up in the air. I thought about how this could very possibly be a dream but I couldn't be arsed to do a reality check.
My mom was on a trip to where she used to live. She brought the entire family along. We found ourselves in a strange hot place. In front of me was a large swamp. The swamp looked like vomit. However, it was actually composed of a precise combination of banana oatmeal and vegetable soup. It smelled like vomit nonetheless. In the center of the swamp was a metal slide. There were kids playing on the slide. They were covered in the oatmeal-soup-vomit mixture. At one point, I fell into the swamp. They were trying to force me onto the slide which was seriously disgusting. I fell into the swamp. If the surface of the vomit swamp wasn't bad enough - the bottom of it was worse. The large chunks had accumulated at the bottom and formed a hard, chunky floor. Later, I return to school. It's winter now, and I'm walking to the other campus of the school with B. B says that there is going to be a snowstorm later today. It's already snowing heavily, and I'm watching as all of the freshmens are playing in delight. They are throwing snowballs and having a real good time. It looks like something out of a movie. I look around, and notice that I'm not really 'feeling' the scene. I walk up to a pole where some snow has gathered and I touch it gently with my finger. The icy cold flakes sting my finger. I take off my coat and feel the tinge of the frosty air. Ohh frosty air how I have missed you!
I woke up at (in reality) at around 5am so that i could pay for my bf's gas for work, went back to bed shortly after. I had to be to work for 8am. Then my dream started.. The only thing i really remember is waking up (in the dream) and looking at my phone, and it was like 9am already and i was like #*$! wait no... this is a dream... this has to be a dream, i never heard my alarm go off.. looked at my phone again and it still said it was after 9 am. in my dream i called my boss appologizing, i knew it was really bad that i missed because in reality i risk getting fired if im late one more time.. It just sucks that in my dream i was so certain i was dreaming, and i even double checked my phone and it still clearly showed i was late. I thought it dreams we can't see numbers or clocks clearly, that they should look distorted. I even felt a bit of depression because this dream felt soo real, and was so vivid.. it was like i was in the future in another demension... Thankfully i woke up for real and i still had time to get to work.
Note: I have never actually been to Houston, but the pattern of my dream and what I saw fit pretty close to the paths I have marked on these Google Earth maps. It was a very vivid dream and I remembered it very clearly. I was sitting on the couch watching some kind of documentary on television. I watched it for a few minutes and realized it was about pilots involved in stressful situations such as equipment failure, bad weather landings, etc. They showed an airliner flying toward Houston. The plane was flying over thick clouds. It was a very calm scene, nothing seemed to be wrong there. I got closer to the television and touched the screen. My hand moved through the screen and into the show… uh… well, this should have been good reason for a RC, but instead I thought this was just a new form of interactive television. I pushed my way into the television and the next thing I knew I was flying outside in the air, keeping up with the airliner with no difficulty, and approaching Houston. The clouds below were what represented the dangerous situation for the pilot of the plane. The plane started to slowly descend through the clouds. I followed suit. I slowly descended into the clouds. This dream was so very vivid that I could feel the small beads of moisture that the cloud was made of. They were cool on my face and exposed arms. I was surrounded by fluffy whites and grays. I lost track of the plane in the clouds. As I descended down below the clouds I could feel larger drops of water. Now I was out of the clouds and into the rain. It was raining rather hard in Houston. The rain sprayed my face and arms, and it still felt good. I was thinking I had just come from a baking hot Arizona day into this pleasant rain storm, of course it felt good to me. I was able to pick up following the plane again. It headed in towards the Houston International Airport… which I looked up and found it to be called the George Bush International Airport… The plane circled the airport a few times and then came in for a careful landing. I didn't see any sign of problems at all. I wondered why that should've been stressful… but then again, I hadn't been on the plane. They might have had equipment failure along with the storm. After the plane came to a complete stop at one of the gates, I got bored of watching the planes and flew off in what I felt was north or north west. I flew in and around some small buildings, not sure what they were. I was just flying in the rain and having fun. The rain was beginning to slow down a bit now. My flight path carried me over an intersection where there was a rail road crossing. As I flew down over the intersection I saw a car in the middle of the tracks. Both of the gates were down, and the car wasn't moving. There was a train approaching in the distance. Now if that wasn't just a Murphey's Law moment… I landed near the car and looked over. There was a woman in the car trying in vain to start it. Ok… a cliché moment of a car getting stuck on railroad tracks with a train coming… and now the driver was really going to be too retarded to get out and just abandon the car to save her own life? She finally got out of the car as the train approached. I thought she had finally gotten a brain, but she instead went to the back seat and started struggling with something. What was going on? I went over to her and told her she had better get out of the way… a train was coming… She said she knew, but her baby was stuck in the car. Wtf? I looked in the car. There was a kid in a car seat. The kid was securely strapped into the car seat. The mother was struggling with the belts holding the car seat into the car and the belts holding the child in the seat. None of them wanted to come free. I reached into my pocket and pulled out my knife, popped it out, and cut several of the belts quickly… and then the mom took the child out. We both got out of the path of the train just before it plowed into the car with a loud CRASH! The car was dragged a short distance down the tracks and then tossed aside, a total wreck. The woman didn't seem to be able to stop thanking me over and over again. She wanted to know who I was because she said everyone would know me as a hero… but I don't want to be known by anyone… so I took to flight and left her standing there in the rain with her kid. I flew north, following some kind of a highway, the rain slowed to a stop. The air was still cool and crisp. I flew a good distance. I flew until I saw smoke that was not too far off. I headed in that direction, which involved turning to my left for a while. I flew over a lake, and then there was an area of forest. In the area of forest there was a fire raging. I wondered how the fire had gotten started. A bolt of lightning? I hadn't seen any lightning… a careless camp fire or a carelessly disposed of cigarette butt? Maybe, but with it being so wet I didn't see how the fire could have gotten started. Arson? Maybe, but why? I figured it didn't matter how the fire had gotten started… I was going to check it out and figure out how to help stop it. I flew down to an area not far from the fire. There were animals fleeing the site of the fire. I was hovering over them as they headed away from the fire as quickly as they could go. I could also see the fire approaching. I saw some animals had gotten trapped by the fire… I didn't want them to get burned. I flew in and grabbed a few small animals and got them to safety… but there were animals too big for me to lift. Deer… there were several deer… I flew back and lifted a fawn. It was surprisingly easy to lift. I took the baby deer to safety. I lifted mom… also surprisingly easy… and dad… a sizable buck… also easy to carry… I moved some more animals out, snakes, squirrels, deer… some animals I don't remember what they were, a few of which were rather ugly… but this wasn't helpful… the fire would still catch up soon… getting rid of the fire was the main goal. I wondered how that could be done. I landed near the lake. I could still see the fire from there. If only I could move water as easily as I moved the animals… I tried to lift up a section of water… and it worked. The water lifted in a small sphere. I did only a brief double take (and no RC) before gathering a much larger sphere of water and carrying it to the site of the fire. I dropped the huge sphere of water over the fire. The sphere immediately broke apart and doused the fire in a huge puff of steam. It never occurred to me that I was dreaming… I thought this was easily explained by the fact I had finally developed my telekinetic powers. That was enabling me to fly, enabled me to lift heavy animals, and transport water. I was flying away from the site of the fire when I woke.
15.06.201006.15.2010 (Non-lucid) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Morning When my alarm went off at 4:30am, it was so difficult to keep my eyes open. I remembered the dream I recently had before waking up, but I just couldn't find my notepad and pen. I tried to stay awake for at least ten minutes to attempt a WILD, but I couldn't keep my eyes open, and since they were closed, I eventually fell asleep. Now I know that I should either fall asleep earlier, or set my alarm for later. Before Bed I am about to hop into bed, hopefully I can fall asleep faster. I set my alarm one hour later, and I'm falling asleep one hour earlier. Just need to burn a DVD and then I'll be ready. Not expecting much, this is more of an experimental time thing than an attempt. But we'll see what comes out of it.
Low recall ★★ Yappy dog from hell I'm in one of my old friend's houses. I am suppose to take all the dogs (about 3) out the door and leave them outside. One small little dog doesn't want to go. It bite my hand hard. I spend minutes trying to pry it's teeth from my hand. Now, I like all animals... but this dog was from hell. Like if satan incarnated to earth as a bikini blond woman This would be her dog. I managed to get to the door and slowly pry it off my hand. I then threw it out the door and shut it fast. I walked back down the hallway and there was a guy there with dark skin. He said in a high pitched voice. "haha, that dog is just gonna come in through an open window and attack you again. sure enough i see it running towards me so I try to punch it as it jumps at me. It manages to latch it's teeth right onto my fist. Flying V 3rd person view of seeing some space ships fly in a V formation. The middle ship is evil and is trying to blow up all the other ships. The other ships manage to destroy it. The ship spins out of control. I am expecting to see an epic space explosion. But the base turns into a wounded eagle and two men separate from it and fall to earth. My vision follows them to the ground. Suddenly I am there with them. The two men are like "shit, we're stranded on this god forsaken planet... what shall we do?" They decide to cook up the eagle for food. they sit, talk and munch. I see a blue house nearby and wonder if it's inhabited. Raven's dream I'm reading a dream by raven knight about a dream that happened earlier in the night. It reads something like. "I am with MoSh and we are walking around in a park. I am so excited to meet him in real life. But wait a minute... I actually don't remember meeting him first. How did I get here with him? This causes me to RC, I pinch my nose and become lucid. "MoSh!" I say. "we are dreaming!" Asuka just a flash of being with Asuka. HH A lucid image of looking at my hand.
[Dream in blue.] [Lucid in red.] [Nightmare in pink.] [Non-dream in normal.] I'd love to know why I have to start my dream journal with a friggin' nightmare, but ah, well. Whatever. I'm in my kitchen, angry and upset. My dad and I... we're yelling at each other for something. I've done something he thinks is wrong. Mom's upset too, but I'm barely paying any attention to her, only to my dad and how pissed he is. I'm not sure what we're yelling about, but we're both getting madder and madder and madder... And then my dad lashes out. He grabs my throat with his hand (big, big hands, which is strange because my dad's hands aren't that big) and starts to squeeze. I can still remember feeling his hand closing in around my throat. It was so real. And I was suddenly terrified. He stops yelling now, but he's still squeezing, and I'm choking and I can't breathe. He tells me off, quietly, and angrily. Mom's gone now. I don't know where she went. Next thing, I'm in my bedroom, and my dad comes in. He says he wants to talk to me, but he doesn't look much like he's repenting, more like he wants round two. I tell him sure, and that he should sit on my bed. When he tries to close the door, I ask him not to. I want it left open. He sits down on my bed on the side closest to the window, and we start talking. I barely remember what we're saying. Then, when he gets angry again, he reaches out, puts his hand on my throat and says something about what he's doing. I ask if he's going to strangle me or something, completely terrified at this point and he says, "No. You're lucky I don't just break your neck." This dream has stayed with me so much. It's horrible. I trust him, I'm just having vile flashbacks and when he touched my neck to kiss me on the cheek to say goodnight, I had to try so hard not to move away. Please, let me have better dreams tonight. -.-
