    1. Dream Wheel Day 2 - Foreign Territory

by , 06-18-2010 at 04:43 PM (A World In My Head!!)
      February 2, 2010

Synopsis: Dream Wheel dream. Exploring different 'territories'. Pool bringing lucidity. Epic storms! Strange green symbols of doom!

      Foreign Territory
I was exploring different 'territories'. It was sort of like a touristy field trip for me to visit these different territories.

Now some tourists were using a map to guide them. I wasn't! I just ran around the place with no direction! The first territory that I explored was a giant suburbia. According to the tourist guide, it's the backyards that are a real point of interest. So I invaded every back yard I could. Well at least in this territory, it's perfectly legal to do so! From suburbia I can see two other territories, one is a forest and the other is a giant building. I enter the giant building. It's mostly just architecture. There isn't much in the building except for a tiny pool hiding in the corner.

I take a dip in the pool and swim around for a bit. The tourist family watches me in envy, they were obese and were too self conscious to take a dip.

Coming out of the pool I become lucid
. I quickly fly out of the large windows of the building. Two massive storm systems in territories far and away catch my attention. One was just an overgrown rain cloud that covered the entire horizon. The other was a tornado system, with twisters going towards the sky instead of towards the ground.

There was also a rollercoaster, and being lucid I achieve an old goal of riding a rollercoaster in a dream.

I forgot about the dream wheel, and decided to visit the two other territories safely above their storms. But that's when my dream characters pointed my attention towards the ground. On the ground were three green glowing symbols. In my minds eye, it spontaneously meant two things. One was 'summoning'. That these glowing symbols had the power to summon/bring...something here. And/or at least a targeting system for something to land here! I didn't know what that something was! Which made the experience frightening, almost alien!

But I did feel there weren't enough green symbols yet.
(note: the dream wheel has five points for it's five members!)

Having completely forgotten the wheel, I imagined the next best thing. That these symbols meant the wrath (the storms) of God were coming here!!..........Well this was when I lost my lucidity completely. This whole place is going to blow! It's the end of the world!!

I told the rest of the dream character to run for it, the wrath of the storms were coming!! Panic ensues! We were too afraid to run in the streets, we imagined that this some how would leave us wide open to lightning strikes. Instead, we climbed from one backyard to the next, slowly making our way to the next safest territory. It was actually physically exhausting for me to climb those fences, and the ground had already turned to mud. The kind that just sucks up your feet. I imagined if worse comes worse, I could just transform into a cat and hide in a hole until the storm passes!! I woke up shortly after.

    2. The tower and first lucid moment

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

The dream tool place in a forest and there was a tall tower of wood that you could climb. The tower was like 30 m tall. There was a large amount of people gathered around the tower for some reason. One guy climbed the tower (for a reason I cant remember) and when he was halfways up I started to climb too. When I got up we were on different sides of the tower and all of a sudden he jumped.
Everybody started screaming and I were terrified because I felt that the tower was starting to fall over. The crowd gathered around the other mans (dead?) body while I was falling still hanging on to the top of the tower. The fall took an awful long time and when I landed I felt no pain at all but I could not move for some time and I was numb.
When I had been lying on the ground for a while a girl saw me and started yelling and everybody came towards me and started celebrating. My wife
(Im 17, dont have a wife, girlfriend irl whatsoever) came to me and started kissing me and she was so happy.
The whole crowd started walking away from the forest and split up along the way. When we came out from the forest I saw my friends
(irl friend) sister with some and her friends. I thought "she is so annoying" and then I took my hands and put them in a chokehold around her neck. I realised that I had a lucid dream and suddenly it felt like I was holding air and everything was slipping away and I woke up.

My first lucid moment ever! It felt so real. The funny thing is that I had not intended to have a lucid dream before I fell asleep. I think thats why I became excited when I realised that I became lucid and woke up
      Peace!

I DID IT!! I finally was able to WILD from a fully awakened state!

I went to bed last night at about 11:30pm. Woke up (due to awesome dreams about being in love with this incredible girl) at 5:47am and decided to try a WBTB and WILD so I could visit that girl again. I stayed up for about 10 minutes, fully awake. I even splashed water on my face. But at the same time, I stayed away from things that would make falling back asleep a difficult thing to do (i.e. screens).

After that, I lay down on my back on the floor with a t-shirt wrapped around my eyes and ears to encompass myself in total blackness and silence. I was very alert at this point, and concentration was easy. I consciously relaxed everything, starting from my toes and moving up to my head, and then counted down from 10, telling myself that I would be very close to lucid dreaming by the time I hit 1.

It almost worked. I felt that beginning sensation of disconnection with the conscious mind, and knew I was close. But I still needed some help. So I visualized a hand reaching down out of the blackness and pulling at the center of my brain. That went far better than expected. Instantly, the hand drew back, but the difference was, now I was moving along with it! My eyes started to move rapidly; I was entering REM, the place of lucid dreaming. Unfortunately, my heart rate increased very dramatically at the shocking success of the visualization, and it was like I fell from the height the hand was holding me back into my real body, and my eyes stopped moving so fast.

I tried to just go back through everything again right there, but somehow I just couldn't. The hand wouldn't pull me back with it anymore, my eyes would never move very fast...I didn't even see HI anymore.

So then I got up (or at least I attempted to; one of my legs had lost its circulation, so it was like rubber and I couldn't stand on it, so I had to pull myself into bed with just one usable leg ) and tried the same thing in my bed. By now it was 6:30. Time was running out. I thought the change of location might be enough to get me in. But after a couple minutes of no luck with that, I just thought: "How often do I fall asleep on my back? Almost never!" And then I just got into the most comfortable position I could, re-relaxed (which was a bit more difficult to concentrate on this time, but I did it) and then watched the oncoming HI and waited.

In a very short time, things started to shake, I felt myself slipping away, and next thing I knew...

I was sitting up in bed. I didn't really need to RC; I knew where I was. But I didn't want to take any chances, so I did a check and found myself to be dreaming. I jumped down from bed and started going around the room slowly. I felt the walls, I looked out the window, I looked down and could see myself standing there...it was all incredibly realistic. I ran all over the house, then calling out for this girl, hoping to find her around a corner. But I never did.

      BLACKNESS!

I was back in bed, wondering if I had woken up. Did a reality check, and tested to still be dreaming. This time I flew outside, doing a corkscrew simply to see if the dream world would continue to function realistically if I were upside down. To my amazement, it did. Once outside, and with my orientation corrected, I hovered in the air, looking around me. I laughed with pleasure when I saw how realistic everything was...there was even a road construction crew out in the distance, just like in real life. I was going to fly off to the girl's house, then, but...

      BLACKNESS!

I was back in bed, and wanted to get back to work, so I did an RC as I threw myself over the edge of the bed and on to the floor. I remember thinking: "The people on DV are going to have a fit when I tell them my reality check was throwing myself on the floor to see if I fell through!" I did fall through, however, and attempted to teleport as my body passed through.

Where I ended up was not at all what I had intended. It was some kind of restaurant with old-looking wooden rooms. Many of my friends were there, and even some family members. One of them was asking me to go fill up three drinks. For some reason, this temporarily caused me to lose lucidity. I tried to get the drinks for them, but the soda fountain was made from obsolete equipment, the cups were difficult to find, and the method of payment was so strange I never did figure it out. It was something like this: you'd put a couple coins into a slot on the desk, and then there was this tube with rings around it. You'd slide all the tubes to the right to correspond with how much money you paid, even though it wasn't sufficient to cover the cost of the drinks. Everyone around me said that was all I had to do; they never compensated for the extra cost. I got annoyed with them for not understanding my point that it was a bad system, and for their annoyance with me for not being able to figure it out.

      BLACKNESS!

Back in bed, lucid once again. Threw myself on the ground as a reality check. This time I ended up teleporting to some farm where two pirates were standing in front of me. They were threatening in graphic terms to tear me apart and kill me. I just smiled at them the whole time, and then used descriptive commands to transform them into girls about my age. "Shorter. Skinnier. A bit younger." With each command, they would automatically be transformed. (This is, by the way, a method of dream control I've used ever since I was 4, when I had my first lucid dream) It took a couple minutes to get them both looking right, but the results looked like they'd be good.

      BLACKNESS!

Now I was getting a bit ticked off at my frequent blackouts and false awakenings. I did one solid reality check and then tried once again to stop all the nonsense and find the girl I'd come into the dream to find. I looked all over the house, tried to call her on a phone, but I just couldn't get her to show up anywhere! So again, I tried teleporting.

This time was very different, though. Rather than be presented with a new, weird location, all I saw in front of me was a panel of buttons. There was one for each location I'd been so far. I pushed the button for the farm and was dropped there immediately. The pirates were still girls, now also in normal clothes instead of the pirate stuff they had had before. And for some reason, one of them had aged about ten years, while the other remained exactly the same. I invited them to come to the restaurant with me. I'm not sure why, but I just had this feeling that they'd help me find this girl that I was looking for.

"No thanks." The younger one said. "I kind of like it here. So peaceful and quiet. Especially at the lake! I think I'll go there right now. See you later!"

The older one was fine with coming, though. "Good enough," I thought. I put a hand on her back and prepared to teleport...

      BLACKNESS!

There was the restaurant...we were there.

      BLACKNESS!

There was a static image of several dream characters.

      BLACKNESS!

I was in bed, I did a reality check. I could still breath through my nose, but it was partially blocked now.

      BLACKNESS!

Then I sat up in bed for real. It was 7:30am now...I'd been in a dream for nearly an hour.

The blackouts sure were annoying, but I'm really glad I've found a way that I can WILD from being fully awake! This could even work in the afternoons...which would be really awesome indeed! Then I'd have a couple chances for LDs every day!

I'd say WILD has now become my focus once again. Wish me luck! I'll keep you guys posted on what happens

    4. Bodyswap, Alton Towers and a SPACESHIP :D

by , 06-18-2010 at 02:26 PM (My Own Personal Inspiration Bank)
      [Dream in blue.]
      [Lucid in red.]
      [Nightmare in pink.]
      [Non-dream in normal.]

      Dream #1: Bodyswap.

I don’t remember much, because it was my first dream of the night and I had a fraught morning, but, what I do remember, is that Jen (who lives 300~ miles away) and I bodyswapped. I’m not sure why, exactly, though, because we bodyswapped into dolls, but continued to be human-like.

      I do, however, remember this:

I’m on MSN with her, with a bodyswap device in my hand, ready to swap back into my body (which she’s sporting) and give her hers back (which I’m sporting). I tell her I’m just setting it up to go and she asks why. I say because we were meant to be sleeping together tonight and I was hoping to have sex with her [but even if she’s down there in my body, and I’m up here in hers... it doesn’t really count.]

She says she’s happy in my body for the night and we should swap back and my parents should come fetch her tomorrow. I say but I really wanted to sleep with her and I say I’m going to do it. So I turn to my dad and I say that I’m going to swap back now and he needs to go fetch me in a minute. He says I can’t do that tonight and to stick with the body I’ve got.

I’m about to start having a go at him
      , when I wake up.

      Dream #2: Alton Towers

I’m at Alton Towers for some really strange reason. I think I’m there with college. And then, because I’m not enjoying myself anymore, I get on the coach to go home, even though it about five hours too early. The coach driver says he’ll go around in circles because he can’t stay at Alton Towers. I say okay.

Next thing I know, Luke’s on the coach with me, on the seat next to me. The ventilation is open overhead and there’s a nice breeze coming in. I ask what he’s doing here and he says he was bored. I say okay. He asks where the coach is going and I tell him it’s going round in circles. He says he wants to go back to Alton Towers and I say I don’t know whether it’ll go back there, but it doesn’t matter, because we live next door to each other [we do] and if the coach takes us home, he’ll get home too.

I get a response much like, “Fair dues.” and we carry on sitting next to each other in comfortable silence. Then I wake up.

      Dream #3: Spaceship.

This was the best dream I’ve had in a while.

I’m on a spaceship, with a pregnant Amy Pond [from Doctor Who] and two other men [who we’ll call Man #1 and Man #2 to avoid utter confusion on my part]. I’m in the ventilation shafts [like Jeffrey’s Tubes from Star Trek], which are shining blue and are a little bit too small.

The floor is gridded, but it doesn’t hurt to be sat on or crawl across and it’s pretty light, so I can see where I am.

I’m on a pillow, so I think I’ve been sleeping here, and Amy is near me. We talk about something, but I’m not sure what, and I notice there’s a book or two nearby, but I don’t take note of the titles. I’ve been there a while, but I’m not sure why. I’m part of the crew, though.

I crawl through the tunnels until I reach the main area, where I find out from Man #1 that the transport pod, used to navigate through the tunnels, has been ejected, leaving us with a gaping hole with no air.

I decide to test this, so I grab a remote, crawl through the tunnels and emerge into an enormous glass area. I can see space through the glass, but I can’t see how high the glass is. I point the remote upwards and press the button, knowing I’m going to die if it goes wrong.

This object illuminates high up; it’s shaped like a bauble
but made of golden lights. I grin and shout to the others that it’s safe to come out.

Question! I have not seen this on any of the threads!-homebase-bauble.jpg

They shout at me, because I was an idiot. I shrug because I don’t care.

Next thing I know, I’m at the top of this pillar thing in the middle of the gigantic room, about 60ft or so in the air. It’s tall and thin, branching out four ways at the top and I’m sat on one of the four, straddling it and pulling plastic covers off the main spike in front of me, revealing information inside. I find out that the captain (deceased) didn’t like books, excluding about five. Because of his fondness for these five books, he allowed them on board. They were listed, and I thought they were boring.

The next plastic cover reveals, in the captain’s voice, that he had taken the bauble pod thing to get away. I don’t know why.

Suddenly, the spoke I’m sat on gives way and I start to fall, but I grab on to the main bit and shout for help. Man #2 reaches out and helps me clamber onto the second spoke. Man #1, far below, is flicking through some manuals and commenting on them. He’s boring me, so I start looking through the plastic things again, while Man #1 talks to me. I don’t remember the conversation.

After I’ve been through the second plastic things, that spoke gives way, but I manage to clutch on to the top of the colemn and stop myself from falling, but my legs are dangling and I start screaming for help, but the two men ignore me.

I reckon they would have caught me eventually, but I’ll never know because I woke up.

All in all, I missed a bunch of dream signs; bodyswapping, Alton Towers, spaceships, Jen, Amy Pond, Doctor Who, Star Trek, claustrophobia... But oh whatever. I'll do better next time. Although that spaceship dream would have been EPIC lucid.
    5. A Lot of WTF Moments

      by , 06-18-2010 at 01:51 PM (Hazel's Boiler Room)
All day yesterday I felt sort of drained. Even when I was doing active things, such as Karate, I felt like it was a struggle to keep my eyes open. Not sure what that was all about, but it made recall throughout the night a bit difficult.

      1- Fading to Nothingness
The first part of the dream is indecipherable. Something to do with... karate, maybe. The vague feeling of failure. A convenience store? Or some place with a lot of shelves...

Later, I am lucid, but everything has gone weird. I am watching the dream from above; it looks more like a map than a scene. There is a circle of colored squares; each square represents a dreamer. The big blue square beside me is WakingNomad. He is giving us all instructions of some kind, possibly about shared dreaming. ((If I hadn't had my sun sound mp3 playing in my ears, I wouldn't have even realized that I had woken up a few seconds after this.))

      2- The WTF Ghost Race
In school, but class is a video game. Our eventual goal is to dispel some nasty ghost pirates, but first we have to do a lot of random tasks. There is a map in the top right corner of my vision that has our goal markers on it. First, we are in a hallway that forks off into three other hallways. They all loop back around to the central one. Our goal is to run through these hallways in the right order for quite a good number of times. If we get the order screwed up, we have to start over. Our instructor tells us that the pattern is center, left, right. We run around for ages until we have achieved our first goal.

Next we have to meet up at the pirate king's gravestone. I am no longer paying much attention, because I have a major problem. For some reason, I accidentally brought a pocket knife with me, and I am worried that the teachers will find it and I'll get expelled.

      3- Poor Undead Kitty
We are riding our bikes along the interstate, of all places. I am going faster than some of the cars, which surprises me. Am I really going 60 miles per hour on my bicycle? I abruptly lose balance and topple over, sprawling out face first in the emergency lane. Uninjured, I leap to my feet and move my bike from the middle of the road. Wow, I'm glad that didn't kill me.

My dad and brother have stopped to make sure I am okay. Hey, look! A cat! I walk over to the edge of the woods where a pitiful looking cat is standing, mewing helplessly. I notice that she is missing all her fur... Her skin is pink and purple like the Cheshire cat. "Aww, we can't just leave her here! Let's take her home with us!"

My dad looks at me skeptically. "I'm not taking care of any cat."

"You don't have to! I know Chris can't turn down a stray, so we'll be able to keep it."

My brother picks it up. It now has white, fluffy fur, but I don't notice the difference. We start walking home ((what happened to our bikes?)) when suddenly Steven freaks out. "Uh... we have a problem." Concerned, I go over to him to see what he's talking about. He holds the cat up, showing me it's underside.

Holy crap! The cat has a huge slash going all the way from it's chest to it's belly... AND IT HAS NO ORGANS! It's completely hollow! "How can she still be alive!?"

      4- Hospitality and Time Warps
I am not myself; I am a guy who is aspiring to be a magician. Something terrible happens, and I end up staying with a kind old woman and her husband until I can fix what ever went wrong.

I think I just end up making it worse. I get stuck in some kind of time warp, and now I am apparently a famous hero. People who were supposed to be my companions now have no clue who I am, and they seem to worship me from a distance. A man named Fable, who I had gone to magic school with and who had beaten me numerous times is now a member of some sort of gang. He tells me that he's always admired my strength and wishes that he could become like me.
    6. Last task of the year, completed!!! ^_^

      by , 06-18-2010 at 01:37 PM (LUCIDMAX's max lucids!)
      Finally got over my dry-spell.

      So wheels WERE used.

      Rating : ★★★★☆ (back to normal 5-star ratings. )

      Date : 10th of June, 2010

I had this lucid dream after a bit of MILD and WBTB combined. I threw in a little FILD, too. Worked great.
This dream occurred after I had slipped into sleep. My WILD failed, but I got lucid nevertheless.

I was an archeologist. I was researching the Tomb of Tutankhamen. They said that whoever touched a certain stone on the grave died instantly. As this was a life threatening situation, we officials were sent by the FBI to research it for it's potential killing power, so that it could be used in weaponry. We arrived, with big, hunky men patrolling ahead of us as bodyguards. There were a few people with me. I remember seeing my friends dad, but the rest were all unfamiliar.
We walked towards the pyramid. Though it was bare desert all around us, it was extremely cold. We were all wearing fur coats. Something about earth's reversing polarity.
We went inside the pyramid. A group of paparazzi were following us, along with irritating media reporters. I think, "Damn paparazzi. Why are they spoiling my dream? Oh well." And I wave my hand. They disappear into nothingness. I did NOT become lucid. It's just that I have become so much used to LDing that this stuff happens.
I continued my way inside. A foul stench greeted me, something like badly maintained public toilets. I went along a dark passageway that was lit by only flaming torches. I went inside a a stone door. There it was. THE tomb.
The smell was unbelievable. It reeked of death and decay. It was toxic. No shit! We had forgotten oxygen masks! I go outside to get them, but now, I was actually in that period of time. I could see a dozen more pyramids and sculptures. There were people bustling here and there, all wearing nothing but a short cloth around their loins, and the women were wearing those.......things....you see in movies. White, old fashioned gowns with red necklaces.
It was a little weird, but I justified it as movie props. I asked a DC, "Excuse me, but, have you seen my car?"
"Sure. It's round the corner from here." "Thanks."
I went to his directed path. When I arrived, there were just an ice cream stand. Good. I was feeling hot from the running anyways. I ordered an ice cream. The attendant there told me that there was no electricity here in this past world, and that I would need to "contact the authorities". Bummer. :/
I saw a bunch of people walking by. They were talking excitedly, in a language I could not comprehend. Now I began to doubt reality. No way this could be real!

I became lucid. I did an RC, just to be sure. I was dreaming! Awesome! I calmed down. It's good to have a lucid dream after a dry spell, but I can't end it soon. I watched around a bit. There were many pyramids, but most were of sphinxes and Pharaohs. I saw a DC wearing a suit and went up to him.
"Excuse me, but where are the construction grounds?"
      "93 Berthingale Street."
      "Okay, thanks."
God, my DCs suck at directions. :/
I ripped open the fabric of time and space, creating a portal. It was my first time actually creating one. I jumped inside it, expecting myself to be at the place where pyramids were being built.
I succeeded. I was in a large, open area. There were many pyramids under constructions, and there were numerous slaves going at it. The typical thing you see in movies, you know. There were some leaders that were cracking whips at the slaves, forcing them to do the work. I saw a cart pulling up gold statues pass by me. Wait. I thought Egyptians didn't have the wheel? I ask the DC that, and she replies, "Well, that's the big deception. We use the wheel, but don't tell anyone about it. Insolent little brats."
And she walks away. I laughed to myself, and started to grow wings to fly. I was in the middle of the transformation, when I woke up because of falling from the bed.

Short lucid, but it's not my fault. -_-

I dreamed dreamt that I was with TW in Sweden (!) It was really weird/cool actually. I got there and there was this escalator thingy I had to go through. Damn and then I wrote - "eurgh I cbf typing it all out"

Another dream I had last night, I had this bag of mushrooms and I was delivering them to some place or person. I took one out and ate one, and was like "shit this is a magic mushroom", even though nothing actually really happened, I just suddenly knew that they were magic mushrooms xD Then because I was carrying them, I was afraid of getting caught and ran away or something. It was like an adventure actually, it was fun.

BUT I WANT TO LUCID DREAM >: (

      xD

    8. The dream of the Dwarf and the Killer Box

      by , 06-18-2010 at 07:29 AM (Folqueraine's Oniric List)
Weird fragments of dream, although I woke up during it due to a power cut...

A crime had been committed in my grandparents' house. Sherlock Holmes was investigating.
There was a weird happening every night in the conservatory. Everyone would sit in the dark, and everyone would feel like someone slapped them across the face, but when the light was turned on there was nothing.
In fact the guilty party was a dwarf. His weapon was a box which released a killer insect when you pressed the bottom in a special manner.
    9. Late entry

I apologize. This one actually happened a few days ago. I remembered it clearly when I woke up, told my friends about it, and then forgot about it until just now. Copypasted from my dream journal on my computer.

      Date unknown
There is a lot before now, but I can’t remember it.
Now: I’m driving on the highway. Speeding. Taking care of two little children, about 8-10 years old. They’re clinging to the top of the SUV (Don’t ask me why). Somebody is shooting missiles or something at us. It’s like a stupid action movie.
I open the sunroof and scream for the kids to get in. One of them does. I ask where the other is. “Oh, he fell off about an hour ago.” I freak out and stop the car. I get out and the boy is clinging to the side of the SUV, naked, freezing, and crying. I pull him off and look for a towel.
We’re on a bridge. I probably forgot to mention that. There is an oil pipe perpendicular to the bridge, and a dangerous looking access stairway on it. The boy scurries down and I chase after him. As I get lower and lower down the stairway, the steps get more and more narrow and I wonder how we haven’t fallen off. When I reach the bottom, It’s a mix between a Spanish mesa village and something out of Killzone 2 (Minus the gas mask space Nazis). I start chasing the kid around. At some point during this ordeal, the kid suddenly is no longer 8-10, but now 5-6, and the environment brightens and changes until it’s more like a regular mall. I run into a bookstore, constantly screaming the kid’s name. I run past Rebekah and some guy she’s with (probably her boyfriend, but for some reason it’s not Steve). I wonder about this for a split second, then continue looking for the kid.
I never find him. After that point, it’s all fragments. Little flashes of thoughts, or tiny observations of the layout of the mall, etc. Last I remember is standing in the middle of a parking lot outside, very depressed, not being able to find the kid.

    10. Captain Aint in the House

by , 06-18-2010 at 07:22 AM (A World In My Head!!)
      January 31, 2010

Synopsis: Psycho with gun, turning into a fairy, Spanish school, lucid, trying to dream-share with Captain Sleepalot. Pre Dreamwheel dream. (wheelers, I forgot to share this one )

Night Time Note: I think it's pretty clear now that all of my lucid dreaming happens only in those two hours before waking. I probably woke up around 6am remembering nothing. I told myself to have a lucid dream, but my mind went completely random. I woke up again around 7:30, and I tried again. I told myself to have a lucid dream, and this time I had a much more stable dream. I don't remember the first half much.

      Captain Aint in the House
We have all gathered in someones backyard. It was supposed to be a pleasant afternoon. When someone from the group turns out to be a psycho, pulls out a gun and threatens to kill a woman. The woman is frightened and takes a step back.

Then a man yells "Put the gun down!". So the psycho shoots him instead. Everyone shouts as he falls to the floor with his chest pooling blood. Another, much larger man approaches the psycho. The psycho holds the gun directly to his head. For some strange reason he doesn't shoot. Even though the larger man was yelling angrily, be aggressive and hostile. Was the psycho actually frightened even though he has a gun? The larger man grabs the psychos hand and apprehends the gun.

Later on we are inside. Everyone is whispering and acting as if the psycho is controlling us. So I'm supposed to wait here and die? I grab this weird item on the table which represented the psycho. Voodoo?? Me and my sister run out of the place. I tell the item in my hand "We just want to go home!". I toss it into a swampy run off, and me and my sister kept running. We can have a head start at least.

My sister who was running ahead of me suddenly disappears. I figured, she woke up. I started to fly instead. I flew over a gate and an area of town that was seriously ghetto, and everyone here was Mexican. Where am I? I didn't trust these men, so I quickly fly past them. I fly past a busy street crowd of giants. Or, I'm just the size of a fairy. I think I even remember people saying "hada". I guess I really am in Mexico because I enter a spanish speaking school. Maybe even a catholic one. Because that is one seriously strict teacher. She wouldn't start the class until everyone was seated where they were supposed to be.

Well uh, there's one extra student, me. I try to hide behind the other students so the teacher doesn't notice that I am of a peculiar size. Plus other students thought that since I was hiding in the back, they can too. I'm starting to get annoyed. I grow larger and larger and larger. Now I'm bigger than a regular person. I fly past the classroom, past the teacher, and merge out of the door. I continue flying around in the campus for a bit, with no destination what so ever. And every time I came to a door I simply flew right through it.

Wait a minute. As I come flying towards a sunny door I realize I'm dreaming. I'm dreaming! Yes I'm finally lucid! Outside was a gorgeous courtyard in the school. I perch on an old and thick tree. Looking at the sky I holler "I now bring awareness and clarity to my dream!". Satisfied, I look at the patchy ground. I want to see my dream wheel. Since my dream did not provide it for me, I jump down and start doodling in the dirt.

I couldn't remember how to draw the start, but I at least remembered all the points. So that my mind isn't boggled with too many letters, and we all know how terrible that can go in dreams, I represented each person with only the first letter of their name. I clearly remembered that I was supposed to go visit Captain Sleepalot. Which is great for me, I have such terrible dream memory. I've attracted a crowd of students whose faces were disgusted at my hethen symbol. "Piss off!"

I stand up, again looking at the sky I focus on Captain Sleepalot. "I now enter Captain Sleepalot's dream". I close my dream eyes and I can feel myself shifting. That thick watery feeling. When I open my eyes I am some where new, but it's not exactly what I expected. It's a very dark dark dark room. My eyes have trouble adjusting. I think I'm on top of boxes. There are people sleeping in this room. I ask them where is Captain Sleepalot. And they answer "He's not here. He's offline.". What's that supposed to mean? He's awake?

My lucidity fades away and my dream descends into nonsense. I'm in a locker room that all of the Wheelers share. Larther was off in his own world humming as he organized his locker. Portalboat walked in, said hello, and left. Nemo was no where. And finally Captain Sleepalot walks in. Again, I'm not lucid so I think I'm awake. So I tell the Captain my strange dream. And as he fiddles with his locker he explains "Yeah, I was awake". Then I wake up for real.

      Random Highway Dream
I have one other dream for the morning. I'm driving on the highway, when all of the traffic stops. What's wrong? Then I see a man continue walking on the hallway, with all of the traffic behind him (at this time, we are all carless). That's when I noticed why the traffic stop! The highway bridge was separating itself! It could collapse any moment! So I yell at the man "Stop walking! The bridge is collapsing!". He seems shocked that he didn't notice, and thanks me for saving his life.

We all turn back. On my way back theres a table resting spot. Though it's right on the highway bridge. It overlooks the beautiful ocean, and it's complete with it's own red umbrella. I put my stuff down to have a seat. The wind is so strong here! If it wasn't for the chair my stuff would have blown away already. A man informs me I have no underwear on, or pants. So I wrap myself with my wind blown blanket, and take a seat. We are served the tiniest cups of soda. More like shots. Even the dressing was served in these tiny cups. The funnest thing in this dream was the realistic powerful wind. I woke up shortly after.

    11. Adventure I can't Reach

by , 06-18-2010 at 07:08 AM (A World In My Head!!)
      January 28, 2010

      Synopsis:
I dreamed of a magical landscape I couldn't reach. Then I had a realistic dream of work that fooled me.

Night Time Note: I went to sleep at least an hour earlier than usual. I made the intention to enter Captain Sleepalots dream. I focused on the image of the dream wheel. But for what? My neighbors and sis wouldn't let me sleep. And even though I implanted in my head dream wheel before sleeping, it was miserable hours later before I actually could fall asleep. Maybe some where after 4am.

      Adventure I Can't Reach
My first dream of the night was pleasant and weird. I was in a sun lit house, a beautiful old mansion. The kind of dream house where just right outside my door was an adventurous land. But I was struggling to be a part of this adventurous land. I remember flying around for a bit. But I always had to return home. Not to mention I really needed to use the restroom. Which was true in real life. I had a false awakening where I double check that I didn't use the bed, and then I wake up for real - nice and dry.

I had a dream again with some guys, but I can't remember who or what is taking place. It doesn't feel like much happened. Maybe we just spoke.

      Realistic Work Dream
My morning dream was yet again another work dream. This time it was all too real. Real enough to fool me. Sure it got to the point where I wondered if this could be a dream. But I never did a reality check to prove it to myself, instead I took it for reality. Which really sucked to think that this could all be real!

It was sunday, it was almost 5pm. We were crowded with costumers, some didn't even know what they wanted, others had lists. When the time got close, I locked the door, thought technically it was only about 4:58 pm. What ever. I probably turned the lights on and off at least two times to grab everyone's attention that, yes, we are closing. It felt so real though. Maybe some of the imagery was mixed with this last sunday, which was in real life very busy around this time?

We finally kick everyone out after what feels like a stressful ordeal. And I wake up shortly after. It takes me a while to recall the dream that I almost took for reality.

    12. Adventure in Old Country

by , 06-18-2010 at 07:01 AM (A World In My Head!!)
      January 24, 2010

Synopsis: First dream, strange circular mansion with dark entity. Second dream, we are thieves being chased in the old country by officials. Dream Characters can fly like me!

      A Familiar Mansion

The first dream that I can remember involved me and my entire family moving into a giant mansion. This house had at least four floors, and each floor was something different. Of course, on the lower floor you had the living room(s) and the oddly tiny kitchen for such a large home. My sisters were hanging out most of the time in the living room watching TV. There were all sorts of odds and ends furniture spots in this home, like mirco-living rooms and studies here and there. And I think the staircase was actually the center of the home, making the home kind of circular.

But this place was huge! Me and my sisters take a quick tour together. The third level was reserved for the bedrooms. There wasn't any real definition between one bedroom or the next. And this place was starting to look fun. Well, that was until my sisters went back downstairs. I continued to investigate by myself. I get that same old weird creepy feeling. This place is haunted! It doesn't help that all the furniture create shadows and shadows everywhere. Or that once the lights were off for an entire level, you have to walk in a huge circle of darkness to find some switch.

I needed to use the restroom, so I tried the restroom in the bedroom level. But it was just too creepy. The bathroom has two entrances, and the second entrance led to a seriously dark room. Is there a figure in that room? I sensed there was. Forget this!

I head back downstairs, but now I can't find a restroom. The kitchen had some type of urinal, and that was awkward for a lady to use. I woke up shortly after.

      Adventure in Old Country
My second dream was kind of fun, or vivid, but not lucid. Typical government official men are after me again, and my friends. My friends fly up ahead, flying up and above train tracks. There's a bag in their hands. I guess were thieves! The officials chase down my friends, who are open targets flying way up there. I instead slink into a man made river, run softly underneath the bridge, and I sly beneath the elevated train tracks, keeping a steady pace with my targeted friends.

I was a lot safer down here. The elevated tracks created deep shadows. And I'd run from one shadow to the next. But I'm still an easy target for the law men. Surrounding the tracks were giant stone walls. Eventually, if I want out of this ditch, I'd have to fly!

I fly up to meet my friends and together we fly off into unknown country. Were not out of the woods yet. While the rest of the officials can't keep up with us, there's one old general hot on our trail. What a pest! I tried to find a nice forest for us to hide in. But the countryside here were mostly open fields and sparse groupings of tree. Nothing sufficient enough for us to hide in. But we did find a country cottage home.

We sneak into the home. It's seriously old fashioned complete with slave quarters. Some of my friends get easily distracted by the country delights, and start openly exploring the home. I don't know what everyone is up to or where they are now! They just seem scattered about, which was really annoying because it's obvious were invaders in this home.

I stayed hiding in a ladies dressing room. When a tall man knocks on my door. And I say in a sheepish voice "yes, can I help you?" I realize this is a slaves dressing room. And the man asks me to clean up such and such mess. But he also thought I was a child, because of my tiny voice. When I looked puzzled and confused, he gave me a demonstration of what I was to do. "Okay!" The man leaves, completely ignorant that I'm just a thief!

I immediately try to find my friends, when the old general comes marching down the hallway! I duck behind some dusty furniture. What's he doing here? Then I notice he's not the only official here. Wait a minute! Ah, were such idiots. This isn't a country home, this is some old fashioned city office. The place is crawling with officials. I manage to find one friend, grab him by the arm and force him out of the home. The others, well, I'll try to find them later.

We fly into the open field, until were such a far distance, the government house is just a little blur. We were safe out here, underneath the shade of this old tree. I remember some random animal people as well, who were our friends. It seemed almost an entire day passes before I finally decide to go back to find the rest of my friends.

This time, the government isn't a cute little cottage. No. It's swollen into a giant corporate office. It had giant concrete walls, of massive proportions. Many of which jut out of the building as if to say how powerful the men in this building are. Me and my friend hide at the base of one of these thick walls. We can see the guards just up ahead. Thankfully they can't see us. Getting back inside was tricky, its like a video game, waiting for the guards to turn away.

Inside there were no lights on. The building instead utilized it's massive windows and the flooding of the sunlight. I did easily meet up with all of my friends, who were all fine. But were in a real pickle. There's so many officials crawling here, the only real way out was out the massive window. But it led to a courtyard. And the ugly general (who looks like the sith lord now) was holding some sort of meeting outside. Damn, this is going to be tricky. Lucky for us, Dumbledore, was an official on our side. He saw us peering out through the window and kept the rest of the officials distracted with one of his long winded speeches.

We all jump softly out the window, and sly ever so quietly across the stony courtyard. We reach the next door just in time. The general heard something, and looks where we just were moments ago. But damn! Talk about not having a plan. Why did we sneak in this direction? This door just leads to another part of the building. We had to find our way up to the third floor again. This time were just gonna make a fly for it. We fly across the courtyard and just keep flying! The general of course sees us and hes hot on our trail again!

Were much faster fliers than he can, I dunno, then he is on horseback? But where should we go? We fly over a city, over the fields, we even flew through the train tracks, over a river. But I still couldn't find anywhere that felt safe enough for us to hide in. And I wake up shortly after.

    13. First VILD of the year

by , 06-18-2010 at 06:51 AM (A World In My Head!!)
      January 22, 2010

Synopsis: I transform the hypnagogic imagery of work into a VILD

Night Time Note: I went to sleep at 3am. My abstract dream of the night involved a funny slot machine that had a built in chat room and forum. It was in the back room of work, and I remember 'H' was also using it. I played one of the slot machine games and won $20. When the machine spat out my $20, it got all dirty with mashed potatoes. The telephone then wakes me up around 7am.

I try to go back to sleep, this time to VILD. My biggest problem was everyone was ruining my morning! Sis kept making noises, kitty kept wanting to go in and out of my room. It wouldn't be until almost 9am until theres enough peace and quiet
      .

      My half VILD
Well maybe being up for almost two hours helped me this time around. Because after nearly two years, I was finally able for the first time to focus on my HI. Rather than deciding to take charge and create my own dream scenery, because that hasn't worked lately, I just let what ever my mind imagined surface. And now I can see why imagining my own dream scene hasn't worked! All of my HI, all of it, was work (art supplies) related! At first there were simple things. A pencil. A sharpener. Every time the image would surface I would say in my head "pencil" or "sharpener". This kept me awake, and allowed the HI to develop more.

I started to see more and more and more of work. And I tried to interact with the HI. Like holding the art supplies in my hands. Yes, it was boring work. But I actually welcomed it. I've been down this route before so I know transforming the work-HI into a dream is actually pretty easy. I welcomed it! I imagined costumers with baskets. Then I tossed the baskets, and tossed all the items of the basket, and put the basket back on top of the costumers head - and sent them on their merry way.

BEEP! I heard my first HI noise! It's the sound of items being rung. Ugh..not pleasant, but it's something. Then I heard the crumbling of paper. It sounded so real I almost lost my HI completely. Focusing back on work I was able to repeat the sound of crumbling paper. Soon I heard familiar voices, the gruntings of my boss 'J'. Really, I'm excited! It's been so long since I've been able to hold onto an HI like this!

I'm able to sort of move around in my environment, check out the aisles a bit. Now that I've gone through the images of work, my HI begins to change. I can imagine my own bedroom now. I can even go up to a mirror, and examine myself. Hoping that staring at my own reflection can somehow induce the dream state. My body is starting to feel heavy, though I wish the sensations of my body would completely go away. There are random dream characters now. I can talk to them.

I go outside to a parking lot, and I can see some trees in the distance. But I can't fly yet. I can still barely move around and keep this whole thing stable. So I try to feel the asphalt, but I still have no sensation of touch. Unable to do much outside, I go back inside to my bedroom, to stare at the mirror again. The image of a strange girl flashes in front of me. "Are you my subconscious?". The mirror responds with coloring itself with random splotches of paint. I ask another dream character if she was my subconscious. She smiles and says something I can't remember. And just when I think I'm about to enter the dream state, I wake up.

It's 10am now. I think my REM period is over . If only I hadn't lost those two hours just tossing and turning I might have taken my VILD attempt much farther!

    14. a lucid.

by , 06-18-2010 at 05:04 AM (MoSh's DJ: The Best Dream Journal in The Universe.)
      ★★★★

I have tunnels written down... but no recollection of it. That and four other fragments flashed to mind also with no real memory.

      Lucid in a trashed house.

All i remember is the sensation I was dreaming at first. Then I sat up in bed in a dark room. i looked at my left hand and had five fingers, pulled it away and back and now i had seven fingers but smaller. I pulled away once more and back again. I had a large finger on one side and about ten others which gradually decreased in size across the spectrum of my hand. I flexed my hand and made a fist. Physically, I felt only five fingers flex, but watched the other fingers flex. It's as if the image i saw of my hand was super imposed over my dream body's physical five fingers. interesting.

I looked around the room a bit. It was dark, but there were many interesting glow in the dark thingies on the wall. All shining with a bright green. It looked rather cool. The glow in the dark effect was much better than waking life glow in the dark stuff. Anyway, I get out of bed and leave the bedroom. when I open the door all I can see is rubble. From the bottom half of the wall and up is entirely gone... leaving a few scraps. what was a hallway is now a path. I see a door frame that leads to the entrance to the house. I walk towards it but find i am blocked by a wire mesh rubble pile.

I think. "no way this is my inner world... better get to my real inner world." I turn around and head back to the bedroom door (only the bedroom seemed to stand). but then I have a FA somewhere else.

      FA

FA in the middle of the street. I am talking to my dad who's driving by in a car.

      Grandma WTF

I am talking to my grandma and she says "Robert it's time for you to move to edmonton and live with my niece."

      Stupid cat

i'm back at the rubble house sitting in what was a hallway. A black cat comes and sits on my lap. I am about to pet it when it arches it's back like it's going to take a crap. Well not on my lap.. so I pull it up and throw it back to the floor. It gets on my lap again and tries the same thing. I hold it and try to put it somewhere where it can't get to me. it threatens to scratch if I throw it again. so i just hold it to the floor while it does it's thing.

      Synth WTF?!?!?!?

i'm outside on the same street with the smashed house. some kids are hanging out by some truck. they say they have awesome new instruments for sale. All i see is a bag of liquefied reece's pieces. I depress a part of the bag and suddenly I hear a vivid sound of a synth keyboard. I think it's cool. I tap the bag again and figure out some notes. So i start playing some synth vivaldi. Then the bag breaks and the liquid crap starts leaking everywhere.

      That 70's show

i'm watching TV. I can see all the actors from That 70's show. Red is sitting in a chair reading a newspaper. He says "these kids and their damn birds" The camera zooms out and the living room is filled with all these bird cages filled with all sorts of birds. The mother's head is severed and is up on a stick that stands by itself. But the head of the mother starts talking and joking with red. I think "this is the only good episode of 'That 70's Show' I have ever seen."
    15. I'm a ghost and can't find my body

by , 06-18-2010 at 05:00 AM (Visions in the Dark)
It is late in the night and their is no moon. I am wandering through some abandoned warehouses that have the floors ripped up. It lookes as if their is an excavation going on because there are deep pits and excavation tools laying around, but the building is dark and there is no one around. I wanter outside and come to a platform beside some train tracks. I don't know if the tracks are in use because they look old and are over grown with grass and stuff but a small train does arrive and I get on one of the passenger cars. All of the cars of the train are open to the outside or are roofless, more like tram cars or something.

The train doesn't go very far and stops in front of what looks like a college or university. I get off and wander around the building and note that despite it being the middle of the night, there are many students and people around. I find my way inside and realize that no one can see me. I look down at myself and I am transparent like a ghost. I suddenly realize that I am dead and remember that I was murdered not long ago and I want someone to find my body so I can be at peace.

There is a commotion with several of the students and they rush inside of the building. I follow them to the expansive library where many people have gathered and are watching a news report about the bodies of hundreds of murdered students being found in mass graves in a swampy area not far away. The police are unable to explain how so many students could go missing and be murdered without any evidence of who is behind it. Everyone on campus fears that a serial killer is on the loose and many people are afraid to leave the school grounds.

While I do not become aware that I am in a dream and am able to consciously control my actions and I start to fly. I move through the walls of the college and high up into the air. I come to a beach along a river where there is a pink radio station with a large antena a top of it. Anong the beach are power line towers that are oversized and take up much of the space along the beach. There is a helicopter circling the radio tower while trying to dodge the over sized electrical towers. The copter is using its search light to scan the beach and the people who have gathered on it as well as the radio building itself. I can hear people on the beach saying that they think the killer is nearby or something.

I follow the river and come to a lake where there are many coast guard boats transporting bodies found in the swamp on the other side of the lake. There are many police officers and heavy earth moving equipment. There are many hole in the ground and open graves where bodies have been found. Some of the bodies have been loaded into the back of trucks or onto boats for transport to the police station (or morgue or whatever).

I cannot see nor sense my body anywhere so I fly back to the college and it has changed shape. It now looks like an old medieval castle with two circular towers on the outside and a courtyard in the middle, though it is still being used as a school. I fly inside on of the towers and find a young man sitting alone trying to meditate. I try to get his attention by moving things around the room like pushing a chair and blowing papers off a desk, but the young man is so deep in concentration that he does not notice. I fly through the walls of the building to the other tower on the other side. It is a conference room of sorts and many people have gathered to discuss the murders and watch updates on a tv.

Again I try to get people's attention by moving stuff around and while people notice the unusual happenings, still no one can see me. A few people do acknowledge that there is a ghost in the room but someone points out that is obvious because off the mass murders taking place.
I try to get people's attention some more but the dream eventually fades and I never find my body.
