1/11/06 - 3rd Visit from Dad : Lucid

Before this I had 2 profound lucids / visits from my Deceased Father. One was a couple days after he died and another one a couple of years later. Last night I had another. I've had many lucids where I call for him and he doesnt show up, it has to be his own doing. Also I've seen him as regular dream characters where he doesnt ever directly address me. These 3 are different, and they have a major impact on me throughout the days and my life. I was awake at 5:00 and had to get up at 5:45 so it happened in that short time frame. Like the last lucid it took place infront of our old house. I pulled up in a car in front of our old house. My dad came out smiling. I knew I was dreaming; I usually get really excited but I didnt want to pop awake so I remained calm although he could tell I was glad to see him. I asked where has he been, hows he doing?
He said he's fine. He walked down the driveway and was walking towards another car, a car I didnt recognize but it was an older car probably from the 50's. I'll have to look at old pictures to see if it was an old car he drove. I asked him how is the other side? He said "it's great" but then looked up and said "it's not always easy to reach the highest star!" Then my alarm went off and I woke up. I think he delivered this message because I'm going through a hard time in my life. He's trying to give me words of encouragement!

12/7/06 -- Lucid Moment

I was dreaming I was looking out a window. The colors were so vibrant I instantly realized I was dreaming. I jumped out the window and started flying. I did this for a while. Then I had a false awakening and I was pivoting on my stomach on barstool when I woke up. This was my brain trying to explain why I was dreaming about flying. Interesting!

11/12/06 - Audio File Triggers a Lucid

I was playing one of my lucid files, with repeating statements, this is a dream, you are dreaming..ect from about 3AM until I woke up. I was dreaming that I was sitting in the classroom, I'm not in school currently so that seemed odd. I heard the voice in the dream telling me that I was dreaming, so I decided to make my desk slowly rise up and hover then I spun it for about one rotation 360degrees. I dropped the desk down and the other students were looking at me like I was a Houdini or something.

My dream started where it left off with the Scooby gang except now Daphne, Fred and Shaggy +me are on the same side of the door as Velma &Scooby in the basement/cellar of the grocery store. I joked to Daphne about the danger-prone business. I said: "Daphne with all these danger-prone incidents in these dreams of mine, I could easily qualify for a honurary member of the Blake family." Daphne (and the others, and I ) just laughed then Daphne said "We will do that after the 'Mystery, Inc' gang finds the monster for today." I than asked them what monster they were after this time. They had forgotten. Than I started to talk about what I knew about Scooby-Doo shows (mostly about how Daphne's role had some development over the years). Somehow when I was talking I got up and sat on a pinic table. I noticed when I was half-done talking when I notice the Scooby gang were in their "frightened" poses.

The "dream camera" than switched perspectives so I could see what the gang was seeing (except through nobody's eyes) and there was Frankstien's monster coming out of nowhere behind the pinic table which I am on.

So I took a remote out of my back pocket (I have no idea how the remote got there) and pressed "pause" on it so I could finish talking.

I just finished talking and was just about to press "play' when two things happen:

1) a voice over saying "What will happen next time in Anne's Dream?"
2) Next Time Contuined............. on the "dream screen".

09/19/06 - Pull Friend into Dream/Game

I had a dream that I crashed at an old friend of mines house. But what was odd in the dream I fell asleep and went lucid. I noticed I was in really dark hallways but they had large celings like a castle because it was like medival bricks. It looked like a video game. So I was lucid and I told my friend we can do anything we want that we were dreaming. It's funny I was talking to him but I never saw him. There was a huge screen playing movies and they were showing Star Wars. I told him we can create lightsabers and fight the opponents this way. Funny thing I didnt remember seeing any challengers. I remember really taking in the scene and view and I remember sort of flying/hovering through the hallways.

09/16/06 - RollerCoaster and ICE

Well I first noticed I was on the ride like the alpine sleigh ride at astroworld (I knew I was dreaming and Lucid). It's a rollercoaster that goes thorugh the alps and dark tunnels. Well I was in the last car and this thing was really coming off the track. I remebmer trying to use my power in the dream to stablize the car so I wouldnt fall out or loose control. The ride was really fun and felt so real. After that I got off, I was surrounded by ice and snow and allot of people. It was dark with some light. The people were in a line so I was following them, I was rubbing my hands to keep the lucidity and it was working. After a long corridor of passages I get to this theater type place. I remember the scene was getting hard to focus, so I tried harder. At that point I popped back into conciousness.

So, I didn't remember any dreams last night, which really kind of sucked. I'm going to go ahead and copy some of my workbook into here again, for continuity's sake. I'm also going to be sure to keep a notebook by my bed tonight.

I probably should have expected that I couldn't have two good dream-nights in a row. Ah, well, here's how it went. I went to bed at 11:00, which was a little later than I was hoping for, anyways. I then had the same problem I had the previous night: I couldn't get myself to fall asleep.

I'm beginning to think this is a common problem between sleeping in general for me and my, as of yet, failed attempts to WILD. Basically, whenever I think about 'wanting' to fall asleep, I can't. On a normal night, especially when I don't have to do anything the next day, this isn't a problem, because I just lay down and don't worry about it. However, I've noticed that, for example the night before school starts each year, I have trouble falling asleep. It's that feeling of lying there, not exactly tense, or thinking about a ton, but being just the slightest bit anxious about falling asleep that seems to make it impossible. Last night, and the night before during my actual WILD attempt, was the same way. I'm not exactly sure what to do about this one.

So, anyways, it's a little before 11:00, and I can't fall asleep. I lay there until a little after twelve, when I decide to read a chapter or two of a book to get my mind off of it. (This is what I do to relax every night before bed, anyways.) I do this, and it seems to help, because within 15 minutes or so, I fall asleep. At 3:30, I'm going to guess the alarm went off, but just didn't wake me up. Any way around it, I don't remember a thing, so I'm guessing I was pretty well asleep at this point. Anticipating this, I had set an alarm for 6:00. This was a regular alarm, not one that stopped after 1 ring like the CAN-WILD one I had set for 3:30. As a result, it did manage to wake me up. I think I tried to WILD at this point, but I wasn't very motivated, so it failed as well. I laid there waking up on and off until 9:00, when I finally got up. I did have one dream during this time, but I didn't have my DJ by my bed, so I didn't write it down.

One last thing: sometime in the night, I'm pretty sure I started to enter SP, which is a first for me as well. Funny enough, it wasn't when I was trying to WILD, even. I felt vibrations over my whole body, but I think I must have gotten too excited, because they faded away fairly quickly and weren't accompanied by any HH. I laid still a little longer, to see if they would come back, but when they didn't, I did a RC or two. They all passed, so I must not have managed to fall asleep. Kind of interesting though.

09/01/06 - Flying with Kids

Well the dream started of on a very high place. Somehow these two kids were stuck at the top a sort of ferris wheel. The funny thing was, I was on a higher building looking down on them. Exagerated heights usually tell me this is a dream which is was and I was lucid automatically. So I told them look I'm going to jump down and it will be okay we cannot get hurt this is a dream. So I took the plunge, it was a long but very fun fall, when I hit the ground I just laughed because I knew I couldnt get hurt. So both of the kids jumped and they were amazed how nothing happen to them. I tried to explain that this whole world was a dream. So I started to teach them to fly and levitate. We didnt go very far just about 20 feet or so, but it felt like we were weightless and in slow motion, it was quite fun. So after this I went to see a friend who has been sick from work (in real life) to see how she was doing. The kids followed me of course; so I asked my friend whats up, how come she hasnt called etc. She said something like Greg would be so mad! I'm thinking well I was just being friendly and didnt mean anything more than that. I was sitting there with the kids I told them to rub there hands together (I did it) to keep lucid or they will fall asleep back into the dream and forget they are dreaming. I said you have nerves in your hands and those nerves sends messages to the brain so somehow it keeps you grounded. Shortly after I lost the dream, dont remember if it was a scene changed or I woke up.

08/29/06 - Flying Above the Ocean (Lucid)

I can't remember why but I some people that I was with were underwater searching for something. I didnt have any breathing apparatus so I thought it was odd that I could breath underwater with no problems. I'm sure that keyd me that I was dreaming. Once I lifted above the water I felt like I was hold on to some bar like a hang glider. So I started flying really fast above the water. It was really excellerating, fast speed and I could feel the wind blowing on me and everything. After that the scene somehow changed and I was outside in a neighborhood, it was nightime. I was still lucid, so I decided to try to run and fly again but I couldnt, the dream started to fade. I was playing my latest lucid induction file, not sure if this triggered the lucid or not.

08/28/06 - Quick Lucid Moment

I was in a oval room with red carpet, like a hotel with tall celings or something. I didn't recognize the place so immediately thought this was a dream. For some reason that instant I wanted to float to the top of the celing so I did, I started drifting upward but once I got to the top I dont remember the dream ending or changing etc. Defintely a brief moment of lucidty!

Audio file trigger Lucid 2:00 AM 08/15/06

Well I tried doing something different. I wanted to have my mp3 alarm trigger early in the night (2:00 AM). I had it play a script mp3 file with the usual statements. I remember seeing images when I heard the trigger but not exacty sure what I saw at the time. I opened my eyes for just a minute then attempted to WILD back into a dream. I didnt go lucid at first but I was seeing incredible HI's and almost entered the dream. I think there was some time between this but shortly after I was seeing this huge building that I saw earlier, looked like a castle. I thought this has to be a dream, why am I seeing this. So the file I could hear was telling to rub my hands to stay lucid which I did, it did stable the dream image. I was trying to jump to the top of the castle/building so I could fly to the top. To my surprise I couldnt, strange because I can usually fly without out thought in my lucids. After that I lost the lucidity and dream.

Went to sleep for the first time listening to 'binural beats". The track also contained some ambient noise (birds, ocean shore) so it was easier to fall asleep to.

I was at a giant event and I wasn't sure what exactly to make of it. It looked like a circus or midway of sorts. It quickly changed locations to a clothing store in a huge closed location. Like when a bunch of clothing stores and sales booth are set up in an exhibition hall. It was ridiculously over priced and the clothes looked plain and very average. I remember glancing at the pricetag of a pair of pants; it read 120$. I then circled around the store, came back to the pants, and they were now only 20$. I looked at the DC who I figured was a salesperson and complained why were these pants less expensive than a particular pair of shorts, there's more material in the pants.

I quickly left the store because it was closing, and ended up at the top of a building that was overlooking a massive amount of people..presumably I was back outside, at this giant event. I remember specifically being on the outside of the building high up on the side, as if I were on a catwalk or fire escape of some sort. There was a door on the right. I turned the corner of the catwalk and there were a bunch of celebrities sitting down. I don't remember who. Only about 3-4. They were complaining that the Africans weren't coming out of the building. I turned around, went around the corner and knocked on the door. After a moment of silence, I turned to face the celebrities now by my side, shrugged, and was startled as the door burst open and three men had grabbed me incredibly enraged, and one attempted to slit my throat, but I grabbed his hand and he ended up deeply slicing into mine.

The dream faded. I reappeared at some sort of campus of a college or university. I don't remember as many specifics. I was being followed by a incredibly obese man and his brother. The man was in some sort of powerchair or hoverchair, he couldn't support his own weight. They reffered to themselves as douchebags. They kept following me around, found me in a stairwell and I found out the man wanted to date me. I told him I had a girlfriend, and he apologized for not knowing.

I woke up shortly afterwards.

Missed Dream Signs:

-Clearly, glancing at the price of the pants.

-If the textual price wasn't enough, I argued with a Dream Character over the change.

Waking Journal for Aug. 5:

Woke up very briefly at 7AM. Remember walking to the bathroom and being caught offguard by the sunlight coming in from east. Checked my hands to see if I was dreaming. Went back to bed and attempted to WILD, but did not keep my conciousness continuously. Woke up around noon, ate, took B12 and C pills. Ate breakfast, watched an hour of TV, smoked a bowl of ganja, and sat down to do my DJ. No further plans for the night. probably playing Castlevania. Really wishing my fall course started earlier.

08/04/06 Double Lucid first part of the Night!

Well, I have to say this is a first in a while. I had a nice long lucid at the beginning of the night. This never happens due to I'm really tired and sleep hard the first couple of REM periods. Well currently in the real world my sisters are fueding and not getting along. In this Lucid it was night time and me and my two sisters were outside. This seemed strange for some reason and I knew it was a dream. I told them this is lucid dreaming and we can fly. I wanted for them to experience true freedom, let all their feeling go and just enjoy this. I actually for a second thought we could be dream sharing, I'll have to see if they had anydreams about me last night. So we started flying around the city, it was wonderful and they seemed to have a good time. After the journey, at one point they somehow got stuck under a bridge, and my daughter was with them. I helped them out and everything was okay but the dream started to fade and everything went black. I started using the rubbing hands technique and images started to come back. I was in an auditorium, (what I could see so far). People were translucent or blurry, but I kept rubbing my hands to stabilize the dream and suddenly, everyone was in focus. So everyone was looking at me, so I decided to sit down and try my yogi flying. This is where I sit crossed leg (indian style) and float. Well when I did they were all amazed and came up close to me to study what I was doing. After that I lost the dream and woke up.

So this was my first dream: I was in my dad's truck with my dad and we were just driving around town. It was really dark out and it looked like we were driving on the highway, because we kept going under a bunch of overpasses..Out of nowhere, I noticed that there was a thunderstorm and it seemed like everything around us was getting zapped. My dad tells me to take out my camera and take some pictures (I love photography and always carry my camera with me). I guess that was the whole purpose of driving around in those dangerous conditions...just for me to take pictures lol and that was about it for that dream.

My next dream also had a couple of natural disasters in it. (maybe one of my dream signs?) I was back in Hawaii with my friend and her family (I had been there earlier this summer for vacation). And we were just lounging around at the condo they rented. I decided to go sit on the balcony and look at my surroundings. Out in the distance I see a tornado coming down the road towards where we are. Everyone starts panicking and running to their cars to escape it since we didn't have a basement to take shelter in. Also, my boyfriend appears out of nowhere to help me get to their car. We all drive in the car even though there couldn't possibly be room for all of us to fit. As we are driving, we aren't escaping fast enough, so my friend suggests that my boyfriend and I get kicked out of the car. (Actually, that sounds like something she would do since she hates my boyfriend and is a lousy friend sometimes). So we are thrown out onto the road and have nowhere to go, so we stand there and face the tornado. We are swallowed by it and hold onto each other so we aren't separated. As we are flying about, I notice an inflatable pool and direct ourselves onto it so it could possibly break the impact of our fall. It works, but we land in the ocean and I cannot swim. He guides me to shore and we rest there, exhausted, on the beach.
After all that, a tsunami comes and we are surrounded by water. We manage to climb to safety on top of a hill and wait there for a while. I get a sudden urge of panic, because I remember that my dad is somewhere out there. (though he wasn't there at the beginning of the dream). In the end, we board a ship and are taken home. I find my dad there and feel greatly relieved to know that he is alive..I don't seem to notice that my friend isn't there, however I don't think I cared..

So, I started off in my room, then I just so randomly became lucid. Odd. I guess I really am mastering the difference of waking and dreaming life. This is the fourth time this has happened. Anyway...so I went outside and wasted all my time testing new ways to summon things. What a waste. I awoke, knowing what a waste of lucidity that was. Ugh.
