Spring Competition 2024 - Night 14

I’m in the backseat of a car, leaning over the center console. I wonder when I’ll get lucid again...this is a dream! I see a bunch of lights illuminated on the center of the dashboard. I may as well use some electronics. I lean forward, hit a few buttons, and see lights glow. Nothing directly happens. I should interact with these guys. I place my hand on the driver’s shoulder.
“How’s it going man!”
He doesn’t quite respond. I look up and notice that we seem to be heading out of a neighborhood in Meadow. I decide to just fly out of the car. I phase through the door to my right and fly upward. The car continues on it’s way down the road in a wooded area that looks like the entrance to a development in Meadow. I fly upward and decide to ground. I look at my right and breathe slowly as I float slowly forward. I see the car turn around and head back toward me quickly, passing me and heading into the development. I stick my arm out and go for hook shot. I hear the chains clanking and I’m pulled rapidly and directly toward the front of the car. Sweet! I disconnect as we reach one of the first houses at the entryway. As I walk, I tune closely into gravity, studying the sensations. I notice that the sense of gravity is quite heavy as I walk. I begin thinking about dream goals. I notice a large building diagonal and across the street and another immediately to my right. I head toward the one on the right and notice a massive glass wall, raising two stories tall with a piano player seated to the right in a massive, white room. I phase through the glass and see the male piano player in a tuxedo at a black grand piano and another half-grand piano in front of that one. I’ll get something to eat for the competition.
“Do you have any chocolate?” The piano player looks at me, yet doesn’t respond. I begin digging in a large plastic container at the base of the half-grand piano, I expect to find a bag of chocolate underneath some of the contents. I don’t find any at first, yet soon find a bag underneath. I take it out, expecting chocolate inside of aluminum foil. I quickly find it and begin eating as I walk back over to the piano player who’s now eating a thin piece of dark chocolate. I turn to the half-grand piano. Time for mass TK. Look at it and notice it suddenly move to about three feet off the ground. I quickly raise it to the ceiling, then lower and raise it once again. I then use TK to throw the entire piano across the huge room, roughly twenty meters to the ride and it crashes into a massive grand piano without a sound, embedding itself into the top. I begin exploring down in that direction. I think more about dream control and consider time manipulation. I begin raising up my watch to go for it, then see some type of machine against the wall that looks like a gray ATM and decide to play around with advanced summoning instead. I go for portal, yet it doesn’t work and follow it up with fireball which doesn’t work. I revert to trying portal a couple times as I continue my way down the hall. I soon enter an area with shops on both sides that resembles a cross between a mall and the shop section of an airport. I see several teddy bears on a display in the center of the hall and try to both multiple then advanced banish, yet neither works. I continue to walk, taking in the sights, and checking out the shop entrances. I go to cast my dream catcher into a wall to make a portal, yet it doesn’t appear. I see a a guy who appears to be a father with some kids and I pass the group. I begin to hear a song play and I enter into a large black room that appears to be a large restaurant area with a section for music playing. I wake up.

Before WBTB

The Deal:
I'm in a haunted house, a sort of Scooby-Doo scenario with a group of people my age.
We’re in a room with fake doors, foam blocks cut up and filled into chasms. I start trying to feel out the walls, looking for fakes.
I'm out in front leading the group because this type of thing doesn't really bother me.
We get to the end of a hallway and there is a pantry. We all fill into the small room and I end up behind a woman.
I understand that this woman can see smell. I engage with some NSFW stuff with this woman.
Later, somebody says “things aren't so different after all”.
…
We’re in the front yard of the mansion and we are trying out keys to several gates.
I try one and clearly the key is wrong, but the door can be forced open. The group decides we shouldn't win this way.
My coworker L is here and he has made a deal with a friend. The friend eventually shows up from inside the mansion but L is asleep on a bench now.
The group moves away, not wanting to deal with the rough looking guy, but I stay.
The guy starts going through L's jean pocket back looking for money. I keep watch.
L wakes and catches him. L gets mad and starts threatening to kick his ass, but it seems like the deal was OK.

After WBTB:

Chase:
I’m in a destroyed house, similar to the inn at Westfall from WoW but smaller.
I’m chasing an animated character from a show I'm watching.
Eventually I catch her and we start some NSFW stuff.
I wake up pretty turned on.

Fragment:
Something about being in a gas station store.

The Body Snatcher:
I’m at work and there is a horror movie scenario going in.
There is a body snatcher or imitator alien infecting my coworkers. Similar to gameplay I’ve been watching recently.
J from my old work group is upstairs in my current building.
He is acting off. I suspect him of being the body snatcher or affected by it.

Fragment:
I'm outside and there is an army invasion.
I have a vague understanding that the attackers are from the government, in other words, betraying the people.
It’s dark and scary. The army men look fit and uniformed in dark. Helmets cover their faces.

Fragment:
My dad is being investigated by a stereotypical gumshoes style detective.

Champion of Farore:
I’m in a volcano area. Similar to Death Mountain Crater from Ocarina of Time.
There is a game mechanic where you must choose one of the three goddesses to support. I’ve chosen Farore.
She has a large wizardly looking hat. This outfit that has the best stats, but there is another more simple one with tan cloth.
There is a menu screen similar to Final Fantasy. I’m using an item called token and it teaches a move with very high special attack called Prometheus. But it won't be active until tomorrow. I understand this to mean tomorrow, real world time (not game time).
To progress, you have to equip and unequip specific gear to show support to your goddess and then talk to npcs by doors leading deeper into the mountain.
My point of view is similar to Pokemon now, where there are trainers that must be defeated with the gear equipped.
Din’s trainer is a bulky looking bald guy, and he is the last one I need to defeat.
The doors have opened pre-emptively but I go to defeat the last trainer anyway for the experience points.

I’m in a park area, and there is a bulletin board in front of me. There is a war happening. Chaotic scene.

I am invited (more like kidnapped) by a Russian criminal whom I have a history with. I think I am an hacker, I did some work for him once and he fell in love with me, but now I'm not sure if he is trying to help me for old time sake or using me as a scapegoat for his dirty work.
He says he'll release a virus in the world that will wreak havoc on all systems and asks me if I have any old PC with a floppy disk drive and I say I do. So he hands me a floppy disk which he says contains the antivirus. He tells me to use it on my computer and then I'll be safe. I find it really suspicious, because it will make no damn difference to have a working computer if the whole society collapses. There might not even be electricity if his plan works. But I'm scared for my life and I just wanna leave and go home.
I know my face will be everywhere on CIA screens for being here, so he is probably setting me up or using me as a decoy. I hide the disk the best I can, so that any camera that might film me outside doesn't see it. When I reach my flat, I turn on the news and chaos starts unraveling in the world. Banks crash and other services start failing, people flock to the roads trying to go somewhere safe. I just wanna go meet my parents and ensure they're fine, but it's still a bit far and there is almost no way to get through the traffic jams. I wait a bit and go out by foot to get some stuff and prepare my trip. When I return my house has been searched. They tried to be discreet as not to denounce themselves, but I can tell that a lot of things are misplaced. I still have the disk with me and don't know what to do with it. I manage to go out of town through a road that most people are taking in the opposite direction. I fear I might not have enough fuel, but I manage most of the way, then need to walk the final bit. My dad is worried with the chaos and showing me how they reinforced the front door and windows of the house, but when I go into the backyard to hang something to dry I notice there is one door from the outside to the corridor / garage leading to the yard that doesn't have any lock. We have our dogs there, who are like different incarnations of my RL dogs Hachi and Bernardo, and are also kept separate because they also don't like each other here (my parents here also look like my RL parents, but we are totally different people and live in a totally different world). I rush to tell my dad that door needs to have a lock asap as outside people are starting to loot.

To get into the event I went through a door which opened into the front of the truck. Being made from a plane, it still had the door separating the cockpit from the back which would be like the trailer of a truck. Pilot was driving and I could hear the loud hum of the engine as they drove the truck. I told them about wanting to see something new and challenging in this icy part of the world, so they showed me the radar and other equipment in the co-pilot’s seat. The radar showed me the surrounding area along with the living things in it. It was possible to tell how large the creature was based on how powerful its signal was.

All of the signals were weak, so I went to the back of the truck to explore the interior. There were several types of games so I ended up getting distracted with those, and once I was done Pilot asked me to come to the front. I started steering the truck and they explained that since there were no creatures to fight against, this time could be used for training or learning new abilities. I told them of all I have done including elemental control and body transformation. I also told them that I used to use weapons, but I brought none into the plane. After hearing me out and asking more about my abilities, Pilot went to the back and came to the front again with one of their screwdrivers.

They told me to open my hand as if I was going to give it to them, and it shot out of their hand and into mine. They told me to think about giving it back while keeping my hand still, and it flew back into their hand. They explained how they added this function to all of their tools, and it's how they were able to work on their own so quickly both when they lived on their own and when I was busy hunting. They then showed how it was just a little device attached to each tool, and it was possible to even send a tool with two devices to connect one and make the new object able to go back and forth as well.

I was able to try out bringing more tools in and out, even having several hover near me rather than having them go straight to my hand. Realizing that this was like the telekinesis I used on earth and water, I started doing the same with large chunks of rock and ice outside. Pilot showed me their tools so that they could attach the device to a sword or spear whenever I got one, but we threw around the idea of using the earth control on tools by attaching earth to them. We eventually reached a point where the path was covered in snow and boulders, clearly from an avalanche/rockslide. At first I picked up pieces with my control to throw them to the side, then Pilot gave another great suggestion. I instead controlled the earth to go down, and snow was thrown in the air like a mist. Clearing the huge cloud away with water control, we could see that it really was left as perfectly flat ground.

Using my elemental control in more unique ways, I could make structures either appear or disappear into the ground, and tools can be sent wherever I want. We drove a small distance afterwards, but heard a loud animal call from the direction of the flattened rockslide. Checking the radar first, Pilot saw that it gave off a larger signal than anything else we have run into. Before I could even get out, the entire truck was shaken around. It had already begun attacking us. Getting out, I could finally see that it was something like a yeti, but it had large antlers and was both wider and taller than our truck (not lengthwise lol). Seeing its size, I felt confident in going straight to transforming into my bigger form to fight it.

It threw me to the side with its antlers and would have stabbed through me with its hand if I did not create scales on the spot. I formed scales over my hand to hit it back, but I could feel my hand freezing over when doing that. Although the scales were good for defense, taking a cold-blooded animal’s traits in a frozen land was a terrible idea. Pilot pulled out a sword from the back of the plane, telling me it was going to be a surprise for later. I saw how they were holding it and knew to pull it in like the tools from earlier. I continued to fight the yeti but with the sword now, and blocking with the sword allowed me to not even rely on scales for defense.

After getting enough cuts in, the yeti started backing off more in the fight and became less aggressive. Seeing that it was likely defending its territory and was not willing to fight to the death. I walked away from the fight. Going back to normal, the cuts and bruises I got from the fight were more obvious but they were very menial injuries for a fight against a creature like that. We continued in the truck and were able to get all the way out of the mountains. Knowing we only had a few days left, I wanted to head towards a fight before ending back in the city. We then stopped the truck so Pilot could improve the radar to sense creatures at a much farther range. We relaxed and talked as they worked on it, and the dream ended there.

Spring Competition 2024 - Night 13

1. Water (LD)
I’m in a dim room, drinking water from a red solo cup. This would be a few points in competition. My awareness raises – I’m lucid. I look at the drink in my hand and take a sip. It’s simply water. I put the cup down on the square counter and look around the dim room. I realize that the area looks somewhat like the kitchen in Meadow main house. I begin to think of dream control. I look around and see several items on a counter nearby, but don't want to do TK and I don't see anything nearby for super strength. I want to get out of the area and explore a bit more. I drop to the floor and begin rubbing to stabilize as the dream feels a bit fuzzy. I turn toward the sink to my right and head toward it. I go to fly, but gravity resists a few times, yanking me down. I finally fly toward the window and phase through it. I end up in the backyard, continuing flight. It's a bit dark, so I figure I'll just phase back in and explore. I begin flying back to phase I wake up.

2. Dire Wolf Form (LD)
I’m in the kitchen in Syrano main house. It’s competition time…when will I get lucid again. I look around. I’m lucid.
I look toward the counter and see a pile of food to the right. I’ll do some telekinesis. I begin focusing on the pile of dishes and food to the right, imagining it moving to the sink. I see a few items flicker, then suddenly see them in the sink, with water running over them. Let’s see if I can move them do the drying board. I focus on TK and soon see a few items in the drying board. I see a pile of what appears to be bread loaves or croissants on the back counter. I go for a mass TK, waving my arms to move the entire stack. They don’t quite lift off. I decide to focus on exploring and other control. I drop to the floor and rub a bit to stabilize and rise back up quickly. I see a Himalayan lamp, but don’t bother with it as I realize it’s not an electronic device. I decide to go for levitation. Meditation. I sit in meditation posture and raise up a bit. At first, I bob up and down but finally get it to a steady levitation. I set my mind to zazen and maintain awareness steadily. I begin to float down the hallway in zazen. I hold awareness for a bit, and begin floating back down the hallway. I soon head toward the back sliding glass window which has the blind drawn. I phase through and notice what appears to be a long black walkway leading to a chasm. I run across it and finally jump over the chasm, going into flight. I fly to the other side and notice a dream plot beginning: three woman seem to antagonizing another, seemingly ready to start a fight. Time to transform. I begin to shrink down, think of quadrupeds and the thought of a rat crosses my mind. I’ll do wolf form. I rapidly transform into a wolf as I run forward. I feel front legs come out in front of me as I run and a feral energy runs though me. I charge toward one of the attackers and slash down with my paws. I turn to the one on the left and do the same. I approach the center one and tell her to leave the area. She begins speaking back to me and drop to the floor and I step on top of her. Enough of this plot…I’m going to explore. I revert to humanoid form and head into the large building ahead. I soon find myself in the central area of what appears to be a Syrano mall. I look around the area which has several different stores and white walls around the area. I begin to wake up.

Just open your eyes WILD
I'm in the void as I enter the dream, I start flying upwards and let myself drop and begin falling, I decide that I'm just going to open my eyes.
Like the last time I tried opening my eyes in the void I see that I'm in bed unable to move, but instead of closing my eyes and trying to wake up I imagine moving, it works. I begin rubbing my hands together to gain some stability but fail. I'm now stumbling through a dark distorted version of my room again there are lots of burst of ringing, I attempt the nose pinch RC and I have no hands, good enough. I see some rags or paper on the ground and remember my first three step task and banish them. They just blink away revealing the floor.

I wake up

Note: I'm not sure if this is me turning SP into a dream, a false awaking, or something else.

It was my birthday and I snuck into neighbors house to takea usb. left and met her daughter who was sneaking out of the house. Her namy was Emy. Invited her over to have some cake.

I don't remember much. I was playing Tibia. My character was in eastern undergrounds near to Thais city

NLD #1

I was in my old home. My father called me so I went to him. He said that I have a guest. It was my chief mate from my vessel (By the way - he is fictional and doesn't exist in real life). I explained my parents that he is my co-worker and we started to talk. I don't remember the details but something was weird to me. Sometimes he was talking in english sometimes in polish. When I payed more attention he started using only polish language. That was even more weird for me because he is not from poland. Also when I looked at him he was really tall - about 2 meters

LD

I was using my computer when I stand up to get some chocolate bar. I went to shelf in my room and I saw there is no my chocolate.
-Did I ate it? I was sure I didn't... - I thought - Wait. What is that?
I saw small plastic box with some old opened chocolates. It was weird because I cannot recognize them. I made RC and it was positive.
-So this is a dream! Yes, now remember. I'm napping right now!
I started to think what to do because I didn't prepare a plan. I reminded that I have meditation on my to do list so went to dayroom of mine. I sit on chair with crossed legs. The chair was comfy but somehow unnatural also I started to meditate but nothing happened.
I felt that my dream soon will be end and few moments later I woke up...
Or maybe not because I made another RC and I was still in LD. But not for long because alarm clock woke me up.

* [04:12 am] basketball, playing vs. <my uni> team, they're all black and super tall, I think how I'll play against them. Coming on to the court someone says "you realize the basket is higher [in college ball] than normal? I look at it and it seems higher, I decide to impress them with my layup abilities and try a reverse layup and miss quite badly. Later in a room with a (coach?) who's very fat and I get a strong whiff of body odor [first time in a dream]. There is a long line of store-processed turkeys leading off into the distance and there is something about this being a refrigerator room. On the court an older guy is lying on the ground, passed out and barfed, I say/think he over exerted
* [???] a team of us is doing industrial espionage [?] I realize I've left some of my things with my name <my name> written on them, including my backpack, they may be able to find me out from this. We leave through a major door and I look back at it and it is multi-part including a swinging metal frame, and someone says something like "Suz Hash [grad] is pregnant".

* [LD #297] It was after I had been riding around in the park in my childhood home's neighborhood TVP on an electric motorbike, I was trying to figure out how to flip on the engine, eventually I did, when I had flicked the right switch I saw a battery level indicator light up, then I started up the engine and revved the throttle and rode up to the street level , I get to the top and I see a car that is like my old car parked in front of me with the rear end facing me I see the license plate it is standard CA blue background and gold lettering and even "recognize" it (6SUB...?) . I know I need to get my motorbike into the back of this car but I'm not sure it will fit, I go up to the trunk and look in and there is a small person (child?) hunched there in the back storage area on the left, which is I can see far too small for my bike because the back seat of the car is right there practically against the window. And I get the strong impression this is my old (first) car. I go around the left side and I see there are some pretty girls in the back seat. As I walk around I notice some curly strands of black pit hair hanging out the sleeves. So I lean through the window, and kiss the girl seated there. I see her face and eyes briefly and kiss her again. I realize I'm dreaming and I decide not to get pulled in to "girl stuff" and want to go about some dream goals, so I decide to declare out loud "I'm dreaming!" and stand up and go somewhere else and do some things for the current dreamviews LD competition, and instead I find that I've half-sat up in bed and said "I'm dreaming" out loud! Oops. I felt sort of dreamy after that and only later realized I had not done a state test to see if it wasn't a false awakening/transition. It was instant and not a fade, so it may have been a FA!

April 10th, 2024

Fragment 1

Soap or candle in bathroom. At my grandparent’s (on my Dad’s side) house, I think? In a bathroom, I think. Someone wants me to fill a bucket with water for class or something.

Dream 1: Pirates, Buffet, and Lucidity

Robert Newton (“Bob” Newton, I call him in the dream) or someone like him giving me advice. I think it’s advice on being a pirate. This includes not eating too much or too much seafood because it can make one chubby. It’s a temptation for pirates, apparently, and he himself is kind of chubby. He leaves, and I walk out to his car (?) with him. It feels kind of emotional, as though we had become friends. I walk back in to the building where we were, and go to the buffet table. I realize that he had warned about not eating too much, but I feel like he wouldn’t mind me eating some of this free food. I become lucid spontaneously, apparently. I realize that I should eat something for points. I pick up a piece of cake or a frosted brownie and eat a bite of it. Then I do a reality check to be sure that I’m lucid (in case I had some doubt, I guess). I look at my left hand. Counting the fingers is difficult, and as I look I see that my fingers are kind of dark colored and sparkly, as though they were made of night and stars. Somewhere around here I lose the dream.

Dream 2: Camping and Post Office

I’m camping outside. I have a sort of a shelter beneath a leaning tree trunk, and am using a tent or a tarp (or maybe just a blanket) to try to shelter myself from the rain. There is also a cat girl walking around. She looks a lot like a cat, but also somehow seems human. She might be a human cosplaying as a cat, or something. She walks near me and I pet her. I try to make room for her to join me under my shelter. She says something about not coming out here as often as she did when she was younger.

I go into a post office to pick up something that is supposed to have been mailed to me. The post office looks like something out of an old western movie on the inside. I stand in a line with some other people, but it seems like the line isn’t moving. After a while, I realize that I’m in the wrong line. I go to the proper line. While I’m at the counter, someone working there says something about being in St. Augustine. A bunch of people in the room all correct him at the same time telling him he is in C--.

Up early, and took some diphenhydramine to help me sleep. That seems to either repress REM or make it harder for me to remember my dreams the next morning. Anyway, I just remember one fragment.

Fragment 1

Something about my Dad's leftover food in the refrigerator.

First night:

Just a flash of a sex dream. Couldn't really tell who it was with.

Second night before bed, Talked with Raven about a dream Raven had about visiting Jamie. Apparently Jamie was digging a hole in her dream house basement in order to let a "friend," in. I found that suspicious, so I suggested to Raven that we help Jamie dig the hole and find out who her friend is.

Wandering

A dream of wandering around a big and fancy apartment building or hotel. I had to go to the bathroom so I kept going up and down stairs. In my memories of this place I remembered where one might be. I went there but the toilet was gone and in its place: there was a homeless man humping someone under him. I wandered off and kept searching but my memory fades.

Funny

Brief sex dream. Me and Jamie are in Canmore, she's driving a brown SUV or an older station wagon. We park on a street and use the back. I notice it's common for her to be on top.

Oh no

I'm in Jamie's house in the addic room. It's really messy and disorganized. An angry and stressed out Jamie walks in through a door. She has a small piece of paper in her hand and says, " Jesus said that you have to message me and ask me out!" And she throws the paper violently on the table and storms off. I look at the table she threw it on and see a bunch of papers strewn and torn up all over the table.

Now, I did pray about false Jesus' not being able to enter our dreams. Probably why she had to dig a hole to see her "friend." That must be some weird dream - logic loophole.

On the note subject matter: I've already made myself pretty clear on here and still stand on what I said. I'm left on read, for 6 years now. Pretty clear indication that Jamie wants nothing to do with me, and I'm treating it as such. That's a clear boundary for her and me. If she has a change of heart and reaches out - that's a different story. I'm not going to force or manipulate anyone into anything. A month ago I had some dreams of Jamie wanting to apologize, and also that I should wait and be patient with her while she figures out what to say. I'll stick with that.

Laptop

Back in the same room and Jamie is going through my laptop. She's looking for dating sites i used to go on or something. That's all I remember.

Nope, I deleted all my profiles, and removed all apps.

Spring Competition 2024 - Night 12

Floating Into The Dark (LD)
I’m floating down a hallway with brown walls and a tile floor. When will I just get lucid already…oh…this is a dream! I’m lucid. I realize it’s competition time and I should do some control. The dream begins to dim quickly. I begin to fly upward and the scene becomes very dark. Soon, it’s near pitch black and I go to phase through a side wall. I head to the right, but lose visual of where the wall is and continue to head in that direction. I soon wake up.
