I was in the living room of my Omi’s old house in Louisiana. Austin was playing old video games. I went into the bathroom to relieve myself. Sometime later, I flushed and realized the toilet was clogged. Not only that, but a massive lump of waste (about the size of my head) had somehow ended up in the bath tub full of water beside me. I fished it out with a plunger, but I kept dropping it back in the water and on the floor of the bathroom. Every time I dropped it, a little chunk fell off. Eventually, it was small enough to fit in the toilet, so I put it in there. I didn’t clean up the mess on the floor. I put the plunger back in the bath tub, and suddenly, I was floating on the surface of the water with a fishing rod. A message appeared at the top of my field of vision, warning me that something was approaching! I tapped a button on a controller several times and pulled a Gyarados out of the water. The traditional Pokemon battle screen appeared. I didn’t have any Pokemon yet, so my health bar appeared. I only had 19 HP. The Gyarados had several hundred. I knew this couldn’t possibly end well, and I couldn’t remember the last time I’d saved my game, so I fled. I got away without any problems. As I swam to the edge of the bath tub to get out, I had another random encounter – this time with a Magikarp. It was much weaker, obviously, but it had some abilities other than splashing around like an idiot. I ran from that fight, too, to save time.

I encountered a Rattata on the tiled floor of the bathroom. I decided I was going to catch it. I punched it in the face when it was my turn, and then it bit my arm. This continued for a couple more turns. After that, my health was getting low, so the game asked me if I wanted to use pills to heal. I started popping pills. The rat did the same thing. It wouldn’t give me the choice to stop taking pills every turn… The Rattata and I both restored ourselves to maximum health. Interestingly, I had seven health bars, and the Rattata had nine of them… When I punched it once, eight of them disappeared. I prepared to throw a Pokeball and capture my first Pokemon…

Dead Space 3: School Zone (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I'm at my school. Only it is now Dead Space themed. The lighting is super low and there are windows and vents everywhere. I know that this was deliberate, as many people were talking about how this was "to scare people." The weird this was that they were trying to basicly scare themselves. I remember that there was this room, it was compact and on each wall there was a poster. These posters were scary as shit, so I kept asking to get out. I see one of my teachers walk in and say, "No, you gotta stay," but I walk out the now open door. She follows me and says, "Tell you what, if I don't see you the rest of school, you don't have to go back in that room." I think that that is resonable enough, and head up the stairs. I sit at the top and hear some people coming. They turn the corner and I see it is a girl and the teacher. I think Oh, shit, just don't do anything too big and she won't notice, and sure enough, she walked right by. I go back down the stairs, when I see that the downstairs is normal (besides the whole Dead Space thing) but now there is a hallway that wasn't there before. I go down it, now with my dad, and try to find something. I know that this hallway was straight from Dead Space 2 as I have never seen it before besides in Dead Space 2. We find who we wanted and turn a corner. The hallway was just a big U, and I'm now back where I started, only now I'm trying to talk to another teacher. Then I woke up.

Well i'm new here so i don't know very much about this place.But i do know that i want to learn about dreams.For some unknown reason 'm able to control mine and never have a nightmare.I want to learn why.Anyone who might know please message me.

I am on a high floor of a hotel which resembles an upscale city hotel room. The room is rather empty,
and just has white walls and creme colored carpet.

I look through the window and see a large, crowded, and high tech city. It has many, many buildings
and I say "Looks almost like New York City...but different". The ground is becoming flooded with water
and buildings are being destroyed. Asides from the crashing buildings, it looks somewhat
beautiful (the water is clear, like a Mexican beach).

Alright guys, I was reading the thing on here about how to lucid dream and doing reality checks and wat not. And it said that during your dreams take note of things happening and if something that would happen in real life, then you'll know it's a dream.But I have a prob. with that like 90% of the time it's not like having a dream, it's like watching a movie. I'm not using my brain I don't see out of my eyes I see myself and my surrounding, again, like I said, a movie. It's I'm retarded or something, I just dont regester things. HELP PLEASE??!!

The only thing I remember is being pregnant. I looked down at my stumic and could see a tiny little baby in my belly botton.

I dreamt last night in black and white, which is a first for me. The set-up of the dream was odd; it was like a game or simulation. An experiment. I was on an old luxury boat, and it was sinking. There were four groups of people staying in different cabins- one was a single mom and her two kids, one was two good friends, one was an African tribe that stayed above deck the entire time, and the other I can't remember. I had to experience each group, as if it were a level in a video game, as they tried to survive. I don't think they made it; the most vivid part of the dream was me dying. I often die in dreams, but I always wake up before I'm legitimately dead. This time, however, I died all the way- I fell backwards, and then there was a rapid progression of black-and-white imagery. Then I woke up.

14th Lucid

I wake up, just got out of a vivid dream. I say to myself, "The next time I go into a dream I will be come lucid."

I go back into a dream being aware right as the dream began. I was in my room. I did three reality checks. The nose plug, hand, and finger through palm. All failed but because I was aware right when the dream started, I still knew I was dreaming. I tried to walk straight out of my window to go outside. That failed to. I opened up my door and walked to the front door. The dream started to go away so I stood still. It started to come back. Once it came back I tried to walk straight through the front door too but that failed. I just opened it up.

I fly into the sky and see that my sister is by my side. There is a huge tree in from of my house that is not suppose to be there. I fly to the top of my house finding it difficult because there was a lot of wind outside. A lot of houses were also on fire!? It was a beautiful day too.

I look to the next house determined to fly over to it. I jump up into the air but then get knocked back down to roof of my house by the wind. I gave up and flew back down to the ground. There was also a sign on the huge tree giving me instructions on how to fly down. It was like a video game almost. It said, "Kick down to fly down" or something like that.

I was on the ground now with my sister. We started jumping around the backyard because it was too hard to fly. I finally imagined I was wearing the Iron Man suite and to my surprise it worked really well. I was able to fly around my neighborhood but then decided to fly back down to the ground. Me and my sister and my brother (who came along) started running around the neighbor hood jumping on things while I started to have random weapons appear in my hand.

When we got to a corner, me my brother and sister saw someone running towards us saying if we didn't stop he would pull down his pants. I got kinda freaked out and started to imagine a gun. I pointed out the ground say things like, "Gun!" My little brother was able to get a gun but missed the guy who was running towards us. He started taking off his shirt.

I finally put my hands behind my back and thought, "Ok, when I see my hands, there will be a gun." It worked. I shot at the guy that was chasing us and stopped and looked at me kinda confused. I was also confused because he wasn't dying. I look more closely at the gun and turns out it was just a be-be gun.

I finally just picked up my brothers gun who for some reason didn't reload it and as I re-loaded it and pointed at the guy who was now getting closer, my brother kept on getting in the way so I couldn't shoot him. I started saying, "Get out of the way!" and right when I shot him, I woke up.

the dream actually started out lucid i probably did the DEILD but forgot it...

so the dream starts out at a soccer field where i have become lucid, there is a road in front of me with some houses behind it. So i kinda like do a really long jump/fly to the road and follow it. It end up leading me to a house where a bunch of girls are. I go inside and the view switches to a view from a window. So i walk up some stairs to the top floor where this one girl is, she was laying on a bed and i approached her. (all the girls looked like dolls) she got up and started talking to me when i remembered the TOTM I immediately back up to find a bowl of fruit right next to me. As fast as i could i took a miniature watermelon from it and took a bite, then i left the house and the view returned to 1st person

. Then i saw my friend gavin up the road on my Kona Coiler(DH mtn bike) i yelled at him because i wanted to do that jump/fly thing while he was on the bike and while i was holding it. But he rode off =(. Then i walked up to the road to where the dream started, i found 3 kids from my school and i thought i was sharing a dream with them. I approached them and said "you guys are dreaming" but they did not believe me. So to prove it to them i pointed to a car and said "car explode" about 2 secs later the car explode (YEAH!!!!). About 2 of them beilieved me and i told them to use passive control. Then i walked to the back of the soccer field when i remembered something that i wanted to do. I imagined a hot girl from my school in a nearby shack and began to approach it. My gym teacher was in the way and when i passed him the dream ended

Game Related Ideas

1. A game with a kind-of a kingdom hearts feel.
2. You could also go with a sandbox style game.
3. I have some music I wrote up which is still in the works.
4. There would be some evil beings on the dream plane that are invading the waking world and this guy has to learn to lucid dream to stop them.
5. As you progress in the game, you learn new "dream control" abilities...like flying, super sprint, teleportation, etc.
6. You could also face certain obstacles that you have to overcome. Walls, bad guys (or cops ), dark regions and such. You could go different ways (per your sandbox idea), to get away from problems, and call on your abilities as appropriate.
7. You can slowly lose a power like getting heavy while flying...or losing lucidity!
   

Administrative ideas

1. I think we need to recruit more people from this forum to help with the project. Anyone reading this, even if there is nothing you think you can do, trust me there is. Please volunteer.
2. We will also need someone to compile a list of people working on the project and their contributions for the credits.
3. Each team should have some means of contact outside of this thread to communicate on what needs to be done and post a few updates back here.
4. We should get a list of who wants to help and once we have 10+ we should all get into chat and see if we can get the ball rolling.
5. The best way to go about this would be to make a short demo first. Maybe around 20-30 minutes of play time. Then you can release/show off the demo and go with it from there. Making a full game is a huge project and a demo could definitely get you a good start. It would also be wise to go with the xbox live marketplace/playstation network-type game. Many of those games are made by small groups of people. Download-able media is really booming right now, and seems to be going nowhere but up.
6. Create a script from the collective ideas of everyone. Possibly put up some polls and whatnot to make some decisions (like the name of the game, etc.
7. I would suggest anyone involved make a link in their signature to this thread. Called, "The Lucid Video Game Project," or something similar.

So I'm in the dream, and for some reason I remember something about this female chimp, how she is loyal to the male chimp, and just as big (Which is anatomically incorrect).
Suddenly I find myself as a slave to this man (Not sure what he looks like or even if he was a man).
I do these game sort of tests when after awhile I notice my 2 little brothers Co** and Cor** were also slaves.
I have this wave of absolute anger come over me.
After awhile I meet the man again hoping to try and get free. I see him and throw the most vulgar insults I can, all because he enslaved my little brother cor**.
"You mother fucker" "You slimy piece of shit" and things like that.
After awhile I find myself in a position to get free with my brothers. There are these three little car type things outside. We run for them and get in, we get down this hill and take a left in this random persons "driveway". It's on of those drive ways that cut through the front of the house and back into the street.
As we go down it I hear something or see something that tells me we are going to get caught.

Dream was extremely hazy and mostly forgotten, most of the events I told you had jumps in between that I forgot about.

So I am in the dream, when I notice I have this nail in my hand. As I go through the dream, this alien starts chasing after me for the nail. I don't know why but I keep it from the alien. He chases me around town, some times he manages to get the nail, but I manage to get it back.
After awhile I start being creative about how I keep the nail from the alien, one time I hid it among other nails in my hand, other times I dropped the nail just before the alien searches me for it.

Most of the dream is hazy and forgotten, so sorry if none of this makes sense, I know it doesn't make sense to me.
