    1. Beware the floating stick!

      by , 01-02-2012 at 05:44 AM
I dreamed that I was in a crowd of people in a green, grassy valley. We were just standing around, I didn't know any of them. Everyone except for me looked like something out of medieval Europe. Anyway, there was a floating stick in the middle of the crowd. It was about the length and width of a recorder-flute-thingy. The stick could also talk, and it would ask people in the crowd random trivia questions. If the person was wrong or unable to answer, the stick would touch the person and *POOF*, they would vanish in a puff of colored smoke. The stick went from person to person, asking them questions and poofing them into nothingness. The people in the crowd were getting pretty panicky, but for some reason they didn't run away. Weird.

So yeah, it was basically sudden death Jeopardy...with a stick.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

      What a mess. . .

Overturned shipping crates and semi-trailers lay strewn about my dishevelled court. Patches of barely-living, pale-green grass permeate the dead, yellow lawns. Every house sits in disrepair, some are even missing, replaced by strange, red statues and rocks.

A large, armored eighteen-wheeler pulls into the court. It stops, suddenly. Waiting.

Somehow, I understand I need to clear a path for this thing. Sighing at the inconvenience, I use TK to lift the first shipping crate out of the way without difficulty. The truck moves forward, and I use another bit of TK to remove the remaining trailer from the road.

Interesting that I can do that so easily, I catch myself thinking, Oh, right. Must be dreaming.

With my newfound lucidity, I finally take notice of all the red in this scene, and, to my left, there’s a statue that catches my interest. It’s that little imp fellow from a previous dream, and the statue is located exactly where that school used to be. Disgusted with myself more than anything else, I pull from an FPS archetype, toss some C4 onto it, and hit the detonator, leaving only a smoldering stump of a neck where the statue’s head used to be.

Slightly pleased with myself, my mood sours as I’m approached by a weaselly man in a nice grey suit. He starts pestering me with questions and hurried pleasantries; his nasally voice and unplaceable drawl grate at my nerve. I try to walk away, but he follows me as I move towards the old back-woods.

”Tell me,” he insists, struggling to get each word across, “Have you ever experienced. . . recruitment?”

The word choice makes me roll my eyes, as I respond with an indignant question: ”You tell me.”

Of course, he ignores my inquiry, going on to talk about what a great opportunity this is for me, and other nonsense I try to tune out; I’m not at all interested in playing along. . .

      Damned sheep.

Note: I later learned the two sheep I had heard “baa”-ing behind my house all day long were, in fact, go-karts or something.

      NON DREAM DREAM LUCID

I have very faint recollection of this dream...meh, that's what I get for waiting so long to type it up somewhere.

There is an evil man. Like, really evil. He has a gaggle of what appear to be elementary school students following him around, and they are being taught to do evil deeds.

I am not actually there, but I am witnessing this happen from somewhere. The group is in some sort of a museum, maybe? It has an atmosphere that tells me lots of tourists travel here.

There is a small model of a bedroom, complete with a window, a bed, and dresser.

      Oh, and Dumbledore.

Yeah. So, Dumbledore was micro. Like, half a foot tall. This evil man with the group of kids was holding a stapler, hovering it threateningly above Dumbledore's head. Dumbledore desperately tries to hide, crouching behind the door. However, he only tries to hide for a second before he comes out with his hands up.

"Alright. Do what you will. I won't go out of this world a coward." he says. I don't realize what's happening until this point, and by then it's too late. The evil man lets of a laugh, and staples Dumbledore's head. There's no blood or anything, but everyone knows he's dead. The man continues to staple him anyways, and in the end, there are exactly 17 staples in his body.

Everything feels...well, sad. And defeated. Almost like the last hope in this world had just died.

Okay, so, as weird as that sounds, it was actually a really sad dream. Like, seriously.

      NON DREAM DREAM LUCID

First off, I'd just like to say that this is most definitely a catch up entry. I haven't posted any dreams in a long time and I must admit that I'm rather disappointed with myself. I'll try to be more consistent.

On a lighter note, I've noticed that lucid dreams are coming more naturally now. I won't even think about lucid dreaming at all, and I'll have a fantastic lucid that night. This never would have happened before...I usually would have had to concentrate and practice awareness and whatnot to give myself anything close to a lucid.

I'm in my room, and I'm with two girls from my school named 'E' and 'S'. Apparently they are spending the night, even though we have school the next day. Somewhere along the line, although we didn't even sleep at all, E's alarm goes off, signaling that it's time for us to get up and get ready.

I feel rested and relaxed and ready to take on the day, and things just get better when I realize that it's 1:30 in the morning. "This is great," I say, "more time to get ready!"

E and S are casually lounging around my room while I walk around and start to gather school things. Suddenly, E, in a very calm voice says, "Oh, it's not the morning. It's 1:30 in the afternoon."

This sends me into a fit of rage and I turn on her. "You mean to tell me that right now, I'm missing all of my classes?! This is terrible! I can't believe you guys! Why would you let me sleep in this late?!" I yell.

I storm around my room faster now, trying quickly to get all the stuff I need to run out the door and somehow make it to school. Opening my closet, I suddenly become extremely confused...there, sitting on the floor of my closet with her legs curled up to her chest, is my little sister.

"Umm...what are you do--OH!" I start to say before I come to the realization
      that I'm dreaming.

I perform a reality check, and sure enough, I'm right. I immediately stop my frantic search for school supplies and turn back around, ignoring my sister. It's dark outside all of a sudden, but I don't care. E and S are gone, too, but I brush that aside, as well. There's someone I need to find.

Right, well, just so you know, I fangirl pretty hardcore over a sci-fi TV show called Doctor Who. It's simply the best show on this whole planet. The main character of this show is, well, the Doctor.

Okay, now that you have a smidge of background information, you can probably guess that my goal was to find the Doctor. I mean, wouldn't it be cool to travel through all of space and time?

So I walk across my room, trying to formulate a plan to find him. Just then, I turn my attention towards my bed, where I see a heap of blankets. It's pretty much what my bed looks like in real life all the time. I think, 'What if I can make a person appear?'

I walk over to my bed and poke the blankets rather viciously, shouting "DOCTOR! WAKE UP!" To my surprise, this method of summoning works, and BAM, there he is. I'm pretty happy, but I don't think he is. After all, I did just wake him up in quite a rude way. He sits up, looks around, and says "What?"

I get up and sit next to him, extremely happy. Now, at this point, my memory of the dream starts to fade, so links from one event to the next are kinda blurry. Somehow, though, the Doctor and I are both seated across from each other, laughing hysterically about something. He then proceeds to press a button inside his jacket, causing his pinstripe suit to glow green in random spots. Even his eyes glow green. It would have been creepy had he not been waving his hands in the air and going "WOOOOOOOOOOOOO..."

I'm pretty sure I wasn't lucid during this part, but I also vaguely remember trying to take a picture with my iPod of the both of us, but he kept shoving me out of the picture and taking up all the space. Apparently, my subconscious' version of him is quite the camera hog.

This was definitely an interesting dream. I'm sort of upset I didn't remember more...also, I wish I had taken the time to actually travel through time like I originally wanted to.

by , 01-02-2012 at 03:11 AM (International Oneironaut Shared Dreaming Journal)
      Happy New year everyone!

I was watching curious George. I was George, apparently. Me and my chaperone walked into a bowling alley in what seemed to be some sort of square or park in an urban town.

I was now myself. My chaperone turned into some scruffy convict-looking type wearing black and brown. We were sitting at a table inside of the bowling alley. He was looking at screen, it looked like a GPS on an iPad-like device. I was watching a red pulsing dot on the screen, over his shoulder. It was getting increasingly closer to our location.

"Fuckers' trackin' us," My scruffy companion announced. They're tracking us? Seems more like the other way around.

"Come on, we might be able to delay 'em." He says.

I followed him out the door. It was evening now, and there was a man waiting for us on a long motorbike with some sort of cabin, it was like a cross between a mine cart and a motorcycle. He forced us in, and drove off, with a strange respect for the road laws, even though he looked like a gangster.

"Best paying job yet," The driver commented. "CIA paid me six hundred million to get you guys, eh?"

Half way to my house, I was transitioned to a van with my family in it. We were still going the same way.

One long wait at a light later, we arrived at my house, with a government van behind us. We parked in the driveway, and my eyes rose to the sky, full of stars and still red from sunset. There was something weird about it. There seemed to be a giant planet in it. What planet, I wondered. I examined what I could see out of the windshield. It was earth, I noticed. I could just barely make out Mexico.

I considered Earth for a moment. A bit odd, I thought. Is this a dream? No, it cant be... Oh, wit, except it is! I realized, and with the energy of sudden full lucidity, I burst out of the car door and ran around in my family's yard with my brother and father. I came across a mound of dirt that was not there in waking life, under a fully leafed tree, though it was winter.

"Anchor dream," I cheered. My father snickered at this. I looked around the yard. Oh, right, I remembered. IOSDP tonight. I thought about Chichen-Itza, but remembered we weren't doing that any more. So I tried to focus my attention on shared dreaming and the IOSDP and whatnot. After 15 seconds of trying, I came to the conclusion that it was to hard and stopped impulsively.

I decided to run out into the road and talk to some DCs. It was suddenly morning. I saw several friends from my school roaming the streets. They didn't live here. I met a friend near a tree.

      "Hey, guess what?" I said.
      "What?"
"I'm in a dream! But not in your head, my own, so it doesn't matter that I'm telling you this!" I laughed.
      They rolled their eyes.
"Anchor dream!" I yelled at them. I then ran off down the road.

The dream shifted into me standing in a line of students somewhere in the second level of my school. I was still lucid. I threw the assorted objects I had in my hand aside into assorted machinery, nobody cared but the guy behind me, be cause he was trying to steal some of it. I stood in line for a while until I figured something out.

"Oh wait," I said. "Screw this. Anchor dream." I walked out of the line, around some machinery, and into the next room. A teacher had given me papers as I passed, I threw those aside, too. I scattered all over the left side of the next room, which was only storage. I proceeded.

This room had three teachers trying to stop me inside. They were maneuvering around a pile of boxes.

"Is there somebody you need to see?" One of them asked, still trying to get to me.
      "Nope," I pushed past them.

I now came into a similar, but larger room. It had large windows for me to jump through, but before I could reach them I awoke suddenly, too awake to DEILD, but I felt satisfied.

      Thebeastofold's dream

Didnt get lucid..so couldnt look for nightspy2 again...

It started I was in a huge dining hall type place, and everyone was wearing orange....no matter what kind of clothing everyone was wearing they were all colored orange..and there were people wandering all around the room with giant roasts on huge 2 prong forks....and anyone who wanted some they would hold the roasts over the table and everyone would use their own knives to hack off a hunk.....and i kept thinking of the line from the grinch "roast beast" they were carrying them around as if they weighed nothing...i asked a girl with a giant ham on a fork if she could put it inthe trunk of my car..i even tried handing her the keys..but she laughed and danced away.....i went around a corner to the left and came to a very dark, windy and cold dead end with a desk attached to the wall and a huge window cut out of solid rock.....and scrooge mcduck was sitting at the desk writing with a feather pen furuiously, he had a giant stack of the old fashioned library card file drawers stacked haphazardly on the desk to his left...and there was ominous music playing in the background, and it was very windy..every time the wind would pickup he would flop face down across the desk to keep whatever he was writing on from blowing away...the only time i could clearly see him was when lightning flashed..i look out the window while he was face down on the desk and noticed we were on the top or nearly on the top of a huge sheer cliff..and it looked like a huge winter storm was happening outside....i turned to walk away and woke up...
    7. My College Years

by , 01-02-2012 at 01:03 AM (The Absurd Adventures of CWHunt)
Well.. I'm not actually in college yet. I'm just a freshman, but that doesn't stop me from have dreams about it now does it!?
Anyway, I just remembered one dream. It has been awhile since I made an entry, so that would probably explain why.

The dream started in a very odd way. I was placed inside of some sort of virtual reality. I guess it was a video game of sorts, but I can't really be sure. The idea was to collect coins in the world to unlock the next level. I got to the next world and the game turned off. My point of view suddenly ended up being me looking at a television screen running the game. My friend then told me that we had to leave for class.

We got our stuff together and walked out the door. This was apparently our first day actually in college, and we were pretty nervous about it. It was cold outside so we had to walk through the inside of the buildings to reach our destination. We passed through this very tiny library and we started talking to each other. Suddenly this old lady comes up to us, and I remember vividly that she said, "You see that light," and she pointed to a light behind her desk that was beaming red. "When it's on you cannot talk. Is it on? I thought so. Now you better not talk, or next time its a mark."

We just walked away, and there was a line separating the library from everything else. I put one foot in and screamed as the only lady looked at me and screamed, "Mark!"

So we got to class, and I woke up.

    8. LD#11 + 2 OOBs

      by

      , 01-01-2012 at 11:35 PM (Turquoise Dreams)
      Sat. 12/31/2011 Bed 1:30am

I set my goal to OOB or LD. For OOB - look at my sleeping body, my astral hands and cord. Go to the orbit and from there go see my mom in Europe. I’m in US.

      GM+Choline 5:47am

I had 2 OBEs before 8 am and LD between 8:30-11am.

      OBE#1.
Starts as a dream. I’m in a big, bright room with friend of mine and her two kids. It’s a living room and a bedroom. It’s not my place and it’s not my friends place. We are playing.

Then I go to sleep and I try to have an OBE. I feel the telltale tingling in the back of my head. I come to the point, when I decide to try and roll out from my body. I kinda expect to hit the floor. I’m amazed, when what feels like 3 inches from the floor I ‘bounce off’ the ‘antigravity energy field’.

I immediately start walking away from the bed, not wanting to get pulled back. It's not very hard to walk, feel only a slight pull. I don’t stop, until I come to the end of the hallway with some windows on left and door at the end. I want to stop while inside, don’t want to go out yet and split second later I remember I wanted to see my sleeping body.

I struggle to see better/open my eyes. Although I see quite well, I feel like my eyes are closed, but not the feeling as I’m looking through my eyelids. I manage to open one eye just a little bit and I see much better, but I’m not sure, if that’s not my sleeping eye so I don’t continue opening it.

I turn around and look for a cord. I don’t see it, but I know it’s there. I follow it back to the bed. First thing I see is the end of the bed, rest of it is hiding behind the wall. I’m curious to see if the bed is empty and I’m in LD, or if there is a sleeping body.

As I come closer, I’m amazed to see the sheet pushed up by what clearly looks like two feet and legs of a person sleeping on his back. I come closer and again with amazement, I see a sleeping person. She is wearing an orange t-shirt, with sheets reaching half way up the torso. I know it’s me, puffy cheeks and all. The person was not sleeping in the same position, as I was when going to sleep and when waking up (right side).

I exit the place and find myself floating between two 10 story apartment buildings, like you find in central/eastern Europe. I remember my goal to go to the orbit and I want to fly straight up. It’s not working as I wanted, so I approach the building and propel myself with my hands grabbing on to balconies to go higher.

I find myself on the ground behind a corner. I think it’s over, but then I realize I could look at my hands and know for sure. I look at my hands. They look very gentle, light yellow/see-through energy and they quickly fade away. I did look at my hands one more time during this experience, but not sure when.

      OBE#2
I wake up briefly, just long enough to say “lets try this again”. I feel the tingling in back of my head again and will myself to levitate, but it’s not really working. I think I decide to just go to sleep when I realize, I have my ceiling about 6’’ from my face. I immediately say “to the window” and I feel myself in the top left corner of my window, the exact location, where I was practicing to end up. I’m in my apartment.

I again remember I wanted to go to the orbit. I try, but it’s difficult to fly. I try superman style. Then, I’m next to a building, still up in the air. I know I don’t want to go through the wall as this could be a portal. But I fly in anyway. I feel the change. Inside is a bigger space than I would expect from size of the building. It’s warm, filled with semi-liquid, very soft dark grey matter that separates, as I float through it. I feel like I shouldn’t be here and exit through the wall on the left side.

I never felt presence of my helpers. Did I surprise them and got out when they were not expecting it, or this wasn’t an OBE? The more I think about it, I feel that this was a low awareness OOB. But I’m opened to suggestions. I have read about APs for many hours before bed last night.

      LD#11
I wish I got up to write it down, but I didn’t. I kept repeating to myself what it was about, but by the time I got up, it was too late. Actually I feel like I may have written it down, but there is nothing in my DJ.
    9. Lucid Demon Slayer

by , 01-01-2012 at 11:11 PM (Tales from the sun chaser.)
In betwix the start of this dream and the last one, I got some offer to kill nightmares, or demons in lucids. I didn't get much details, and I'm not even sure if I said I would agree to it...maybe I did. I don't even remember who offered me the job. All I knew was it was wbtb time.

The void fades, and I'm in my room, but I'm not sure if the dream has started, or I'm just having super vivid HH. Either way, I get my usual falling through the bed sensation, but visually, it's off the charts. The ceiling gets farther away, it's as if the entire house is getting bigger, or I'm getting smaller. Along my decent, my bed passes through a flock of bats. And finally it stops. At it's peak, the room had to be about 80 feet tall.

The room is about normal size now, but everything around me looks almost black and white. All the items in my room are old and dusted, and it looks like no one has been here for ages. I head out, and I'm in a totally unfamiliar hallway. I travel down it a ways, and see this open room. I call out asking if anyone was there, and these two women, that almost blended in perfectly with the background start moving and talking. One of them greets me, and asks me who I was looking for. I told her my objective, and she said that there was nothing to kill there at all, and everything was peaceful. I got a little confused and told her my orders were to get lucid and they'd be in the first place I'd lock for....and stopped mid sentence.

This woman, who was covered from head to toe in grey and white paint, double checked and asked me if I was sure what I needed to do. I said yes and she stepped back, and the other woman got beside her, and I knew it was going to be go time. They both ran at me, and I was punching and kicking, but it had no effect, when finally the first lady got up close and started chocking me with one hand. (She was going for this move several times during the fight but I was keeping her at bay.) Anyways, she says something to me about how conventional techniques wouldn't work, and something else. Then it felt like my life force was being drained some how. I grabbed hand and got out of the choke hold, and broke her arm in several places. And blood started pouring out of my throat. I covered my throat, but I could feel it gush out between my fingers and cascade down my shirt. I started hurrying away, and told myself, "this isn't real, whenever I remove my hands, the bleeding will be gone". When I did, it was.

(the scene changed on it's own)

I'm in the next door neighbors yard, and there are two huge chests that are moving. They have skulls floating around them, and I'm guessing this is their true form. I pulled out a katana, and slashed at both of them, and something opened up...it looked almost like some sort of worm hole that I would get sucked into if I wasn't too careful. My second guess was they'd probably absorb any magic I'd try to throw at them. I double checked my surroundings and made sure there was nothing else to fight and slowly paced around them. All of a sudden, one of them shot thiis yellowish energy ball at me, and I reflected it with my katan. It flew back at the box into the hole and made some sort of strange noise. I did the same thing with the other one, and they both went dormant. After a few swipes of my blade, they both disappeared.

I was really happy it was over, but I was so anxious about my next mission. Then suddenly, a leafless small tree appeared. There was a box attached to it, and it had all these unread letters. I think I heard the voice of the person who was in the void with me telling me that I could check this tree anytime between missions. I was having a hard time figuring out what they said, but I know one of them were tickets, and I deleted one on accident.

The scene changes and I'm at some huge place surrounded by other lucid dreamers. They all seem very aware, and they all have that look on their faces like they know what I've been up to. I'm walking around and everyone is just so cheerful....I am too naturally, but man....it's just like happyville or something. Anways, I'm thinking I have to meet up with my DG or something to get the rest of the information, when someone asks me about how I got here. I told them, and they were impressed that I already got my first mission. He said everyone there was waiting just to get accepted, or some got in, but didn't go on a mission yet.

I continued on, and group of people (one girl with short black hair, a guy with long brown hair and maybe two others) that had a "been there done that" look on their faces told me to come with them. One guy grabbed me by the back, picked me up and started running really fast. I started asking questions, and talking about what was going on, but I don't remember what was said. I know at one point i was saying "I really want to kill something again", and everyone was laughing. He let me go and they told me they would see me on the bus. I continued walking, and man, I don't know....my swag had to be maxed out. All the girls there were smiling at me...and it seemed like everyone in general knew me. I wanted to ask them who they were and what not, but I wanted to make the trip in time.

I came up to a room that had a guard there dressed in blue. He was making sure everyone who entered had their tickets, and I saw the cool group enter ahead of me. Something was telling me I'd probably be next to them, and when I entered, I saw my nephew there. I told him "man, I knew you'd be here, what have done so far". He told me that he was mainly just sparing against other people. And he asked me about what I did, and I told him, but there was some other guy who started talking like right when I almost finished the story. I finally finished it and told him I needed to find out where I was sitting. I grabbed my ticket and started reading it as the dream faded.
    10. Introduction + First Dream

by , 01-01-2012 at 10:27 PM (Jakro Goes Hardcore Into LDs)
Hi. I'm Jakro. That's it, let's go into the dream... No, really maybe you want to know briefly who the hell is this.

I've been dabbling with lucid dreaming since about 2005, but only started it taking more seriously in 2009. At first my results were encouraging, peaking in July 2009 when I had 8 lucid dreams in a month. I was like "holy shit, this is awesome, and it's only going to get better. Fast forward a couple of years and I'm like "what happened? It was supposed to be awesome!" During the past year my total lucid count was 14. That's pathetic! Worst thing is, that they've all been short and poor in quality. My last quality LD was probably back in 2009. So what did really happen?

Simply put I started coasting more and more and didn't put in as much effort as in the first few months. I was lazy. I've not made concerted effort for lucid dreams in a while. I've kept dream journal and still am keeping, but my recall has been only so-so. The times I've actually put in some effort have been mostly frustrating due to lack of results.

But that's about to stop. This year, I'm going to have my best year of lucid dreams ever. To support that effort I'm starting to write a DJ here as well. I've been lurking in Dreamviews for quite a while, occasionally posting here and there, but not really being active. I have had a DJ in my own forum in Finnish, but I'm going to make a habit of writing here as well every evening to get my minds focused back into lucid dreams in night.

For the most part I'm going to write last night's dream here, but I still have often nights, where I don't remember much. So then I'm going to instead revisit some of my "classic" dreams from over the years put them up on here.

We'll start with one of those right away, as I didn't remember much from last night.

Jakro "Classics" - My First Recorded Lucid
      Date: January 31th, 2009
      Lucid: Yes
      Method: WILD

It's funny that my first lucid was WILD because I've only had three of them over the course of last three years. This is not really that special dream except that it was, you know, the first one. There have been some short ones before that but I've not recorded them, so this is what you get.

What happened prior it was that I was seriously sleep-deprived from staying up over 24 hours. My sleeping rhythm was completely upside down, so I had to stay up for a long stretch to fix it. In the afternoon I tried to watch soccer while tired, but fell asleep. I woke up four hours later and get up to move to bed to get the rest of my sleep in. I had been reading about lucid dreaming a lot and I was aware of WILD technique. I knew that I was so tired, that nothing was going to stop me from falling asleep (and given that it was still kind of early to go in bed, I wouldn't even had minded if I wouldn't), so I tried my hardest to stay conscious through the stages of falling asleep.

Luckily for me they were pretty short and I did indeed fall asleep. The hypnagologic stage was short and I soon found myself in my bed in complete darkness. I had stayed calm, but a bit excited during the experiences in the hypnagologic state, but I didn't know whether I woke up or not. I had felt shaking during the hypnagologic state and then as it ceased I had seen pictures and thought to myself that "I'm totally tripping balls" (that's the exact wording on my journal).

But yeah, I was laying in my bed in dark room. I got up and felt how everything seemed real enough. I tried turning on the light. It didn't work. A-ha! I had just read that often in people's dreams lights don't work. I was becoming increasingly sure that I was indeed dreaming. But I'm always very careful with this, as the stuff you often do in LDs is either illegal or lethal, usually both.

Not this time though. Looking at the clock and away and then seeing the time transform completely confirmed for me that it was a dream, but I wasn't prepared for this. I didn't expect to become lucid so soon after starting seriously trying! I was so in awe of the dreamworld, that I mostly just observed. Not that there's anything bad in that, I've done that often since and it's fun on it's own, just to look at the vast and complicated world and detail that your brain has created.

As for reality checks, I wasn't done though. I did one final test - the nose test. All the doubt faded... Well, almost all. I ventured to our kitchen and everything looked like there someone was amidst of cleaning the room. Everything was stacked up in one place. I went to my parents bedroom, still not 100 % sure that I was indeed dreaming.

I walked into the room. My sister and my mom were there. They were watching television. Both of them had matching camouflage jeans on and I've never seen anything like that on either of them. My sis was also a few years younger than what she really was at the time. 0kay, finally I was sure that I'm dreaming, stuff like that just doesn't happen. Then I woke up.

Nothing spectacular in the end, but an encouraging start to my lucid dreaming journey that stalled a year later and started stagnating. I have some more awesome dreams to share later and hopefully I'll start dreaming ones as well. Anyway, I'll go to sleep now. This post at least put my mind into the right place for sleeping.

    11. Nap Fail

      by , 01-01-2012 at 10:25 PM
      Dear Journal,
The Nap was a total fail. I can't even remember if I had a dream or not but I'll take a real sleep in a few hours so maybe that'll work. See you then.

    12. Jeff is an Ass

by , 01-01-2012 at 10:23 PM (Tales from the sun chaser.)
I'm at my house, my brother K and my pops are there. Jeff shows up and asks for a marker. I have this really nice sharpie that makes bordered lines whenever you write that I was using. I decided to give it to him, if he had something good to trade. He offered me a superman toy, and tried to really sell it like it was good, but there were no moving parts. I told him I didn't like superman that much to begin with. He tucked it away in his backpack and pulled out a card. It was some marvel subscription that had a nice discount to it. I told him yeah, I'll take it, and then he just threw it as hard as he could in my face.

I walked off to the refrigerator to grab something, and calm down, and when I came back there were like 5 injuries on the football game. The Eagles and Dolphins were playing. I caught the last one, it was a pretty brutal hit on a kickoff return.

Something happens here....like the next dream starts, or I'm just in the void and someone tells me about fighting nightmares or dream demons. I can't recall who it was, but they said I'd be doing it in my lucids. I naturally followed this up with a WBTB which requires it's own entry.
    13. External Noises from Waking life turns into Shotgun sounds in dream...

      by , 01-01-2012 at 10:18 PM (Linkzelda's Dream Journal)
      12/31/11

      Dream 1:

I hear sounds from waking life, they were loud sounds from someone popping fireworks. The sounds eventually were associated with the dream where I was watching a backyard through a window at some house. A DC was using a shotgun (a bit oversized) and started shooting the grass!

I couldn't see the DC, only their arms because there was a brown fence surrounding the backyard

I don't know why I would have a dream like that but I woke up eventually and kept my eyes closed and realized I'm back in waking life.

    14. Fire and Failed Ressurection

by , 01-01-2012 at 10:12 PM (Adventuring While Asleep)
The beginning started out non-lucid. I was in this prairie with a big house at the end. My brother was there, so was my mom and quite a few other people I didn't know. At one point, the house caught on fire. All of us got out, that I noticed. Then I saw a friend of mine, which I know from school, didn't make it out. I ran inside to find him on the floor covered in burnt remains of the house. I moved them over, he wasn't moving or breathing. I checked his pulse, he was dead. I dragged him outside and I did a reality check. I could still breathe through a pinched nose, it was a dream. ([Note] While I was out for new years I was doing reality checks every so often. I also went to bed with the intention of doing a reality check in my dream.) I tried to revive him with some special power, but failed. (Yep, I really need to practice passive control. Active control is hard with zero practice. ) Then I went into another dream which is in my next post in my DJ.

I remember being in this weird land area, the sky was all black. There were about four sides, each with their own castle thing. And they all fought. Don't remember much.
