I had a City Builder dream. I've not had one of those in a long time.
My map was of a mostly frozen area with some oceans and large lakes.
But I kept restarting the map because the enemy colonies always got the jump on me and were on the verge of destroying me time and time again.
I couldn't figure out how they built their troops so quickly because I was still struggling with basic resources.

I love those dreams. It's like looking at a world map and then zooming in on areas to work on. You just think about what needs to be built then choose a place to put it. Then you think about what those buildings need to create. "You" aren't there at all.

Also had the Library/Bookstore dream, only the lady wasn't upset when I didn't show up for work.
I don't know why I've had versions of that dream for decades now. I've never worked in a library or bookstore lol.

      I also had 2 FA's.
In one, I was just talking to my hubby.
In another, I looked at my computer and saw it was 2:00 and woke upset thinking I had slept too long

I dreamed of sex... sort of lol

I was going to have sex with a black man in a public restroom stall, but someone came into the restroom and interrupted our plans.
I was giddy in the dream.
I felt like our choice of location was disgusting, but I felt exhilarated because we were sneaking around.

I also dreamed something about a dying planet, space, wars, flying, driving, food. Can't piece it all together though.

I do recall one snippet in which the AC unit of the RV was leaking water on the carpet inside.
I also remember getting stuck in traffic and being concerned because some of the road was crumbling away.

    3. Naiya's Simple MILD Technique

      by , 06-20-2012 at 06:19 PM
      COPIED

      Naiya's MILD Technique

      Introduction

Most of my lucids are MILDs. Even though it is probably one of the less popular methods, in my opinion it is one of the most reliable and versatile things you can do. The great thing about MILD is that you don't need to remember to RC or build up daytime awareness, and it doesn't require you to lose any sleep. All you need is a few minutes before bedtime. MILD is also complimented by WBTB and reality checking, but it can do very well as a stand alone method.

A lot of people who are new to LDing ask what the easiest induction method is. It's hard to answer that question because different methods work for different people. Having said that, I have always thought that MILD is the perfect method for beginners. It is much more forgiving than, say, WILD, because as long as you keep trying, there really is no wrong way to do it and you will eventually succeed.

A word about consistency: one of the biggest pitfalls I see is when a person tries one method for a week or two, then decides it's not working, and switches to another method. They jump from one method to the next and believe that nothing is working for them. It's very important to understand that lucid dreaming is a skill. While some people might start out with a talent for it, the rest of us have to build up from being beginners. So switching methods would be akin to trying to learn piano one week and then trumpet the next. You never give yourself the chance to master any of them. The mind needs time to internalize what you are trying to learn before it can give you good results. With lucid dreaming, even though you may not have lucid for the first few weeks, just affirm to yourself that you ARE making progress.

Practice and consistency are extremely important with MILD. To get the best results, you should be doing it every single night. If you wake up in the morning with no lucids, don't think of it as a failure. If you did the MILD before bed, then consider it a success because you got your practice done. Your lucids will come when your mind has begun internalizing your practice.

      Preparation

Before you begin, it's best to make your environment conducive to MILDing. For starters, you will need to set aside at least 5 minutes just before bedtime for the MILD. If you want the best results, I recommend a little more time, maybe 10-20 minutes total.

It's important to make your attempt when you feel relaxed and your mind is free of daily worries and nagging thoughts. Spend a minute or so (or more if you are a meditator) letting go of any thoughts and worries. Make it an ironclad rule to not worry about your daily life when it's bedtime. If you need to, jot down your worries and thoughts (i.e. "I need to get gas tomorrow") in your dream journal so you can read any reminders or worries in the morning. You might try imagining that you are throwing your troubles and your thoughts away in a well or a box near your bed. If you are still being plagued by worries and thoughts, affirm to yourself that the best thing you can do for yourself and everyone around you at this moment is to get a good night's sleep and be relaxed and happy in the morning.

The next part depends on how easily you fall asleep. If it takes you a long time to fall asleep (10+ minutes), then you may lie down and get comfortable as usual, and do the MILD as you fall asleep. Don't worry about trying to keep it up to the very last moment you fall asleep, because that will keep you awake. But try to make sure you keep your mind on it for at least 5 minutes before letting your mind wander or dropping off.

If you are the type who falls asleep within a few minutes of hitting the pillow, you may not want to lie down for the MILD. Instead, turn off the lights, sit comfortably on your bed, and after at least 5 minutes, go ahead and lie down to sleep, keeping the MILD going as you fall asleep.

      On WBTBs
: If you wake up naturally during the night, it would increase your chances of getting lucid if you repeat the MILD when you go back to sleep. If you have the need or want to, you can set an alarm or two at night to increase your chances. It's not necessary, but it can help a great deal. Don't worry about being consistent in the number of MILD attempts per night--it only matters that you do at least once per night total.

It's very important to keep a dream journal for MILDing, especially if you are coupling it with reality checking. When you keep a dream journal, your recall gets better, and with that, it will be easier to MILD.

      The Method

Once you have settled down your mind and you're comfortable, turn your attention to lucid dreaming. Recall your most recent dream, in as much detail as you possibly can. Imagine yourself exploring the dream as if you had been lucid in it. Believe that you are back in the dream again, only lucid. Believe that, in only a few minutes, you will soon be dreaming again, and imagine yourself knowing it's a dream, doing whatever you want. You can come up with any scenario you wish for this. It may be helpful to imagine yourself completing whatever tasks or goals you have. If you can't recall a recent dream, you can use any other dream you had, as long as it was vivid enough to remember it with a good amount of detail. This can be really helpful if you want to go back to a certain dreamscape.

Another variation of this is to use a movie, video game or book. You can make up a completely imaginary environment, perhaps something from your daydreams. Imagine yourself lucid in the environment, doing whatever you want to do. It helps if you see yourself doing fun or interesting things, because it keeps you motivated.

You don't have to imagine the same thing in every MILD attempt.
If you did, things might get boring and your mind will not be in an active state. So don't be afraid to change it up, use a different dream memory, or imagine new things.

If you have time during the day and you want to give your MILD a boost, you can practice it in the middle of the day. Simply daydream yourself into a lucid daydream. It will help build up your visualization and creative skills, which are useful for not only MILDs, but dream control.

      Using Autosuggestion

Using autosuggestion or mantras, either alone or with the visualization, will help you MILD. Remember that the mind ignores negation when you are coming up with mantras to use.

For example, if you use this mantra:

"I will not fail to lucid dream tonight"

Your mind will perceive it as:

"I will fail to lucid dream tonight."

One of my mantras used to be "I will have a lucid dream tonight." I was confused when I starting having only one lucid per night, when I normally have a few. Then I changed it to "I will have many lucid dreams tonight," and I began having more lucid per night again.

      Some of my favorite mantras:

"I'm dreaming" --> the best for coupling with visualization, really drives it home.
      "This is a dream"
"I will wake up in a dream" --> to promote FA's. Remember to couple with RCs every time you wake!
      "I'll be dreaming soon."
"I will have lucid dreams tonight."

      Conclusion

This method is pretty simple, but it can be powerful once it's mastered. Anyone can master it if they put in the time to practice it. You can do MILD while you're exploring other methods, so that if the other methods don't work well for you, there's always that guarantee of getting lucid eventually from your MILDs. Typically I recommend doing MILD for at least 2 months to give it sufficient time to work, but for some it may take more time. Sooner or later it will work--it's just that for whatever reason it takes longer for some people.

      Good luck and happy lucids!

I recall dreaming about the RV and stressfully navigating tight spots through road construction.

I recall a Hotel and telling the maid she could clean whatever it was that was on the wall and door, but we were still settling in so nothing else was needed.
She then said she had friends who could help her- implying she could get us unpacked and organised- but I told her it wasn't necessary.

I also recall being at a large school and offering a teacher my DSi to reward a student with some game time. Almost all of the kids were miserable. Some were in tears. She was suspicious about my motives but named one student.
Then I suddenly regretted my offer because it then occurred to me the kids could actually break my device lol

I napped in the car while my son was in Court.
I had a False Awakening of Ray [son] coming up behind the car and saying he was going to jail. But then he smiled and said he wasn't.

Later that evening, I had an absolutely epic dream but I fell back to sleep and forgot most of it.
I don't think *I* had an active roll in any of the dream.

I recall numbers. Not the #'s themselves, mind you lol. It was a string of several and at the end of the dream, a random female DC was mixing up the original digits to create new strings and she was complaining that she was finally running out of combinations.
She played those #'s somehow, at the horse track. She kept winning, only the money was then given to ppl who had been somehow hurt by a curse surrounding the original digit string.

Then I had an incredibly intense sex dream.
I complained to my hubby- a random DC- that he never touched me anymore.
I made a real issue out of it and he became angry. He then, almost violently, screwed me.
Afterward, he was tender and affectionate
There was a lot more to that dream, but I've forgotten it.

I also dreamed of roads; a new road being built over a steep hill; a stadium; a storm; water; a little girl; an ancient statue. But I don't recall the story/stories behind them or how it all fit together.

    6. Epic Night of Dreaming [TRUE LUCID]

by , 06-20-2012 at 06:11 PM (Dream Trek)
      Dream #1: Lucid
The first dream I had for the night was my very first true lucid... I was in some strange place that I don't remember very well. I remember that it was a sort of mansion, and I was under the control of some sort of evil mastermind. The situation was very much like that of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Somehow I found out that the situation at hand was impossible to occur, so I determined that it was a dream. I abandoned the entire plot of the original dream and decided to fly away. For fear of falling, I flew over a large pond instead of more dangerous landing sites. I remember, at one point of my lucidity, I walked into a room full of people, and punched one of my dream characters in the nuts.

      Dream #2: Party + Nightmare
The lucidity had ended by this point. I remember I was in a large, dimly lit room, with tables all around, including one pool table. I had found a friend who wished to play pool with me, so I made myself a drink and brought my pool cue and some balls. People were already sitting around our pool table like it was a regular table. We kicked them out and made them go to a regular table. After a while of playing pool, some older gentleman came in and proceeded to bitch at me for doing something, which I cannot remember. As soon as he left the building, I shouted "My father, and my friend's father... TWO different things, asshole".

Surely enough, he heard me, came barging into the room and pinned me against my chair. I told him "Look bud, if you want to talk about it this bad, I'll talk... But you'll have to get off me and take a seat."
He told me to begin talking, but didn't move. I told him that he had five seconds to comply, or I would leave without saying a god damned thing. He did not comply, so I broke out of his grip and shoved him to the ground, and then began walking around the house gathering things.

The scene suddenly changes a little - but the story remains similar. The house is mine, the party is at my house... But it's not technically my house. It's my parents house, and I have long since moved out. And I'm not me, but rather, a female figure, for a few minutes in the dream. I remember that I may have been slightly lucid because I said "He tends to forget things all the time", and I was excited to talk about myself from the third person, as a different person, and I'm pretty sure I knew I was dreaming at that point.

I continued to my truck to load my possessions into it, and then walked upstairs to make the final sweep of the area. I looked on the ground to see an old stuffed animal of mine... And walked off to the next room. After a few minutes of searching through my room, The stuffed animal walks into the room, and at his side is a small skeleton figure. I begin to scream, and it runs at me, so I jump onto the bed to evade it. They both become inanimate again, and then awaken again, and send me to screaming...

      Dream #3: The Airplane Massacre
The scene changes.. I'm with my family at an airport landing strip. Except it's not MY family. I'm the oldest son in some random family We're directly in front of a wing, inspecting something. I notice a truck driving from my left, slowly. The truck turned its headlights off and began to move slow. For some reason, I got the impression that it was going to try to run us over. But I also noticed that the wing was too low for him to drive through, so it could work as a good obstacle for us. I said "Quick, get on the other side of the wing!" I did, but nobody else complied with my demands. The truck comes flying into my family, a few survive, including my father and my younger sister. We begin to run, and somehow I become separated from them... But I notice the truck behind me, quickly closing on me, and I see a mobile staircase ahead of me, which I can use to get to the plane's deck... I climb the ladder, and the truck misses me. I drive the ladder to the flight deck and hop on right as the truck rams the ladder out from underneath me. This plane is no usual plane... It's got a deck surrounding it, where people can go DURING flight and sit around outside, given they wear the appropriate gear. Anywho, I see my father tending to my injured sister.

I run off and try to put in cheats, but find out that there's no R2 on a N64 controller, and that I couldn't cheat in this version of grand theft auto (Idk where that came from)

Last nights dreams were so boring in comparison to the one last night, I almost lazied out on writing this morning.

Dream One (Fragment): I dreamed that I began work at a gaming magazine. In the dream it's just me and a handful of guys though. They want a female perspective on their magazine, and I tell them the biggest qualms I have with gaming magazines as both a chic and a mom. I feel like chic games don't get as much article space as "manly" games, and as a mom I wish they had a section for tiny gamers. I wish they showed more games for preschoolers and showed a better idea of what ages can play the game based on how difficult it is, and what games would be good for beginner gamers.

Dream Two (Fragment): I'm getting a new apartment. I'm looking for it in the building, and discover it's right next to the on site auto shop (do they even have those in apartment complexes? I've never heard of such a thing, lol) and I worry I'm not going to be able to sleep there and my quest to lucid dream is going to go down the drain. Never did realize I was dreaming while I was worrying about lucid dreaming -_-

Dream Three: I'm suddenly attending some strange boarding school. I'm walking to my class, and I notice we have three green houses, but none of them actually have plants in them. Instead two are being used as cat houses and one is being used as an aviary for tropical birds. So I get to my "class" and it's just a couple other students, and a professor... except we're not in a class room, it's an outdoor class on the playground. Me and the other students sit on the swings and the teacher is sitting on a seesaw. He's teaching about taking care of our surroundings and doing volunteer work for the good of the community. He mentions that the playground needs to be repainted, especially the swing set, and I volunteer to do so. None of the other students want to help though. The teacher tells me he's got to go buy the paint, so we'll do it later, then class is dismissed. I then walk inside the school building, where my aunt and uncle are waiting for me. They are talking to me about how my cousins are and if I like this place. I tell them it's cool. then my aunt gives me a couple of gift packs of bath and body stuff, it's supposed to be rose scented, but it says Star Trek on it and it has... the millennium falcon on it? I don't know how the heck I missed that reality check. I probably laughed it off as the manufacturers not doing their research -_- I take the bath sets to my room and set them in the bathroom, then I wake up.

Dream Four: I'm walking down a hall with my son. We're at the movies looking for the theater. We find it, but they lights keep going down then coming back up, and the volume is sooo low we can't hear the movie. A girl with long straight hair comes in to fix it, but it keeps going down again. Then everyone in the theater starts talking, and a boy with sandy colored hair starts talking about how we should all be friends because he could use some more friends and at least making friends with people would turn this otherwise negative movie trip into a good one. He starts assigning everyone jobs as his friends. He's going to make one dude his gaming buddy to play video games with, he assigns one girl the job of his girl friend, another guy his shopping buddy, and another one his nerdy friend to help him fix his computer and stuff. I just sit back and watch all this, then wake up before he's done.

    10. the fading lucid

      by , 06-20-2012 at 05:11 PM
(i wake up and i try to recall, however i did not remember anything do i go back to sleep and begin to dream) i am at my Dads place with a bunch of family and i remember spending the night there and i couldn't sleep because i was in the same room with an evil plant that slowly warped around peoples neck and strangled them. i do a RC and and count my fingers, 5, it doesn't feel right so i do it again, as i recount i see six fingers, i now know i'm dreaming and my goal is to fly. the dream fades out into a moment of nothingness and fades back in where it left off just before fading out again, it repeats this several times not giving me enough time to even try to fly. (i eventually wake up and remember my dream instantly)

      Sasuke's Ultimate Attack (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

      +

Lol, this Ultimate Attack was so funny....

Alright, I'm watching Sasuke Uchiha from Naruto Shippuden face Orochimaru again, and he already has Orochimaru trapped in some kind of Susanoo hand that's starting to form from the bottom of his feet.

The hand gets bigger and bigger and eventually contains Orochimaru almost completely. As the hand or whatever part this glowing violet aura is getting close to reaching completion, I think I stepped on a wire.

The Susanoo starts degrading......LOL, it needs a power outlet.

LMFAO, what kind of ultimate attack is that if you need an electrical outlet???

Instead of almost rolling on the floor laughing, I quickly plug the plug back into the outlet.

      Lmaooooooo.

I forget what happens next, but I guess Sasuke succeeds.

      Riding my Bicycle (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I'm riding a bicycle, and it seems to be the one I use in waking life, but I didn't pay too much attention to verify that. Someone says my bicycle is for little kids basically, and I get a little mad because the size would be too much for little children anyway.

I ignore the person who tells me this, and I continue riding until I reach an intersection. I wait for the Walk sign to turn on, and I go on the wrong lane (left side). Someone else was doing it, which prompts me to do so as well.

I didn't hear any honking from the busy traffic, so I guess the logic of the America road system was eradicated in this dream. I continue riding my bicycle on the left lane, and see a car coming up.

I quickly shift to the extra lane to the left, and let it pass. After that, I presume I continue riding on the left lane.

      Age Regression? (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I'm following some tall male in the dream, but I can't see him at all. Seems we're at some party, and it's very dark outside. There's quite a few people here as well. Some are already leaving to come home, and some are coming through the garage that is open to enter through the door where one section of the party is held.

While I'm following this guy, I think I see some small hairball with a small piece of transparent tape on it. I don't know how it appears, but I quickly throw it somewhere else. The guy I'm following says we're going to get something to eat, probably because the food in the party sucks or some weird excuse, not too sure.

I think I see my mother, lol.

Okay, she's wearing a black dress I believe, and I can't see much of her visage because it's dark outside, but the guy said she was my mother, I think.

The car we go inside of is dark red, and it seems the seats were flooded with water a little, but it didn't bother either of us. I wanted to ask this random dude I still don't know who I'm following where we are going to eat, but I kept quiet.

For some reason, I felt like I was a 6 year old child in this dream, it's like some kind of age regression occurred at some point here.

I think the guy said I could go anywhere I would like to eat, and I made a joke and said,

"Let's go to Canada and eat at Tim's." (The Tim Hortons place)

I don't know how I came up with that as an initial joke, but I acknowledged to the man that I was merely joking. I have my elbow on the side of the door of the passenger's seat, and look through the window as the night starts to fade away and early morning makes itself apparent.

      That's all I remember.

I don't think the male was my father, it was definitely someone else. But the fact that I didn't even see his visage or any signs of obvious physical attributes annoys me a bit.

      Wolf Armor (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

It seems I'm playing Runescape, but how I'm experiencing it is weird. It feels I'm controlling the character while moving at the same time simultaneously.

I think I'm killing some Greater Demons, or some kind of weird dark red monster that was way taller than I was, at least for the character I was playing.

Then I see someone wearing a Wolf Mask, along with some weird looking armor. It was black and had gold trimming, but this armor was only placed on the elbows and the needs of the person. The person had a wolf-like body, a skinny torso and slightly wider hips.

You could say that it was like a Lucario from pokemon, just for the body structure, not the face. The person in this wolf form was attacking another player who was trying to kill Tormented Demons in Runescape.

Wow, that would be a horrible experience for the player being attacked because Tormented Demons uses all three forms of attacks: Mage, Range, and Melee. Just keeping track of which protect prayer to use to make yourself invincible to the attacks of the Tormented Demons is one thing, but if you add that player attack him, it makes it even more complicated.

I don't know what happens to the Runescape character, but I assume he got destroyed pretty quickly. I remember the wolf-like character doing constant verticle flips and even floated in the air while rotating when he attacked the player.

      Crazy.

      Age Regression Part 2 (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Seems I feel like my age in this dream now, and I think I see the guy I'm following a little better now. I believe he's wearing a blue dress shirt with black slim corporate type of pants.

He's shaking his head about something, and I think I tell him that there's some other way we can approach the matter that I forgot about.

I woke up 4hr30m after originally going to sleep to attempt a WILD as per the current homework task in Sageous' WILD class. I stayed up for approximately 30 minutes writing down my dreams and generally walking about as suggested.

I laid back down to attempt a WILD and repeated my mantra while focusing as much on self-awareness as possible. I think my main issue was that I got a bit too focused on the HI and what I guess was the beginning sensations of sleep paralysis because each time I noticed it I woke myself up too much.

I probably could have gone a bit longer, but I was laying there for about 35 minutes and decided I'd roll over onto my side to try another attempt. At some point I guess I must have just gone to sleep, but it must have somewhat worked because I was partially aware of the fact that I was dreaming when I got into the dream, I didn't even perform any reality checks.

I was back in this test lab style location, the same place I was at in my previous dream of the night, only this time instead of being a test subject for the experiments of this lab I was in a quarantine prison. I was somewhat aware of the fact I was dreaming at this point but the dream is also somewhat hazy. I remember breaking out of the quarantine prison with another person who was with me, and from this point we avoided the guards and made our way to the exit of the test lab.

Upon getting outside, the dream world was somewhat restricted, there was a small patch of grass outside and then the world just cut off in a perfect line and disappeared into a void of many, swirling colours.

I decided I would jump off the edge and as I was falling I repeated to myself "I will fall into a lucid dream"

After a few moments of conscious blackness I open my eyes and see I'm in this room and lucid, there are no ends to the room and it seems to stretch on forever, but it's quite narrow. Both walls are different colours and there are doors on each wall, in more colours. There are lots of objects, kids toys mainly, scattered over the floor in assorted colours also.

I look at the wall and for some reason decide it'd be a good idea to try and "pull" a rainbow from the picture of swirled colour on the wall, but then I stop myself. I remember that I need to do the Task of the Month which is a revelation for me as I never remember to do anything in my lucid dreams.

I remember what Sageous said about forming your dreams, using schemas to build a world around you. I notice one of the kids toys on the floor is a train and I focus on that and try to build a scene around it. I put my hands together (though unsure why, I guess I thought it would help) and close my eyes.

When I open my eyes I'm in another small box area, there are brick walls all around me but there is no roof, I can see the sky above me. There are inactive trains, train carts and coaches on multiple tracks in this around and running through the middle of the area was another track extending into dark tunnels on each end.

I looked into one of the tunnels and a train just kind of "appeared", I move out the way and it speeds by out of the tunnel and quickly disappears into the tunnel at the other end. It seems my subconscious mind had created the most convenient location possible for me to do the Task of the Month, because every 15 seconds or so another train would appear and speed by before disappearing into the tunnel.

I spend a moment and try to figure out how I'm going to jump on top of this train, I focus my mind above the entrance tunnel and try to pull out a ledge from the brick wall that I could stand on, but I couldn't seem to make anything budge. I decide that I could make a jump from one of the nearby stationary trains and onto the speeding train, if I jumped far enough. For some reason just flying up never crossed my mind, which is strange because flying is usually one of the first things I remember to do in my lucid dreams.

Just as I'm preparing to jump I notice the exit tunnel isn't that large and I would probably go smashing into it if I jump on top of the train. I make an attempt at expanding the area so I could fit through, but just like the wall previously it wouldn't budge. I figure that this is a lucid dream and I would just chance it, hoping my subconscious would follow my will to not be smashed to death by a brick wall and expand as I approached it on top of the speeding train.

A few more trains pass and I prepare myself, eventually I leap and just manage to latch on to the train. I climb up and the train appears to be quite thin so I'm laying on top of it clutching on for dear life, as I approach the tunnel I feel the top of the roof scrape my head and my back and then it seemingly disappears, no troll subconscious for today!

I assume I get too excited riding on top of the train as I pass through the tunnel, because next thing I know I'm back in my bed.

I open my eyes and start recalling my lucid, excited that I completed the Task of the Month and couldn't wait to get on the computer and write on DreamViews about it. I look at the time briefly and then pick up my dream journal and read over the dream I had previously that night and as I pick up my pen and begin to write down my lucid, my vision becomes really blurred. I couldn't quite figure out what was going on. I rub my eyes and when I open them again I've seamlessly transferred back into my bed, laying down again.

I'm obviously completely blown away now, I had never experienced such a realistic False Awakening before, I even checked the time and read over my previous dream! When I sat up I had to perform multiple reality checks just to make sure I still wasn't dreaming because I no longer trusted my reality. I even specifically recall reading what was in my dream journal, and when I picked up my actual dream journal the previous dream in there was different to the one in my dream and I wasn't sure which one was real and which wasn't.

All in all, an amazing lucid and I guess a half-successful WILD, maybe.
    14. My Dream Life

      by , 06-20-2012 at 04:08 PM
I am recording every dream I can remember, from Wednesday 20th June 2012. I hope I can carry this for a long time and eventually be able to fully control lucid dreams.

      Tues 19th June 2012

      Dream 1;
      scene setting/thoughts non-lucid lucid

I can't remember how I got here, but I'm rushing into the entrance of a large food store, perhaps a Tesco, due to the large amounts of white and blue I saw. Behind me there's a large black bus, like one of the fancy ones that celebrities use to tour on, I can't remember any other scenery, except the fact there's many table and chairs outside the large store.
I was running inside the store, I was with my family and there were many strangers along with us. It seemed we were in a battle, to do the usual amount of food shopping in the quickest time. I can remember being shunted and pushed as we first entered. My family and I ran for the crisp section, I noticed the prices were very very cheap, and everything was in bulk. Nothing was sold separately. We ran around the store with unlimited amount of money. Picking up food and throwing it at the other families which were competing with us. I can't remember what happened next

      Dream 2;
      scene setting/thoughts non-lucid lucid

      I am in the car park of a large Temple, the temple was filled with Blues and Greens, it had big yellow doors and to the left hand side there was a huge wall, and opposite was a large forest. The car park was exactly same layout as my old High School. My friends, mum and dad were here, not with me but they were inside the Temple/Castle. The temple was filled with strangers whom I've never met before. [COLOR="black"]Drinking something in the car park, I saw my dad (influenced by alcohol possibly) getting in an argument with some hard looking men, they had bald heads with red face paint. He got into a fight and I ran across the Car Park, the faster I ran the longer the area would become, so I ran at super speed, as if I was traveling countries and got to the fight. Punching the first man in the face, with all my might, I felt as though I didn't barely hit him, and that it didn't hurt. But he fell to the floor, in agony. I then turned and punched the second man, with exactly the same sensation and he did the same thing. Their body's disappeared to another place, I don't know how, but I could feel their presence, it was evil. I ran into the large temple, It was split into 4-6 sections, each section contained some sort of boss and a selection of weapons just before the main boss rooms. I turned back and ran over to my friends from school, I remember yelling at them that my dad was getting beaten up and I needed their help, they followed me outside, getting outside was fairly easy, as though I just had to get across a bar filled with people. I don't remember any rooms or pathways but I was outside very quickly. When we got outside there was about 4-5 men, they looked half-serpent and mermaid, a bit like these Characters from World of Warcraft;

They were dark blue/black and had bald heads, with red facepaint going down their whole body. A bit like the men I was fighting with earlier. Everyone hushed as we got outside, I saw the serpent-men coming closer, they forced me to sit down, as well as my father so they could investigate us and the whole fighting scenario. I noticed they didn't speak, they traced their hands over our heads, poked and squeezed a little. As if examining our brains. Behind me was a female, and she walked around infront of me and stared into my eyes, she was an attractive lady, even though she was half-serpent. She had very very long fingers, with large red finger nails, they were very long, almost a yard long. She started to trace her fingers around my face and neck, examining. She then put her finger inside my mouth, I couldn't feel her fingernails at all, as though they disappeared as she touched my mouth. I can still specifically remember the taste of her fingers, they were sweaty, slightly salty as well. They had a damp feel and I could taste the skin. It tasted just like a human finger except from certain things, her skin was wrinkly but had a very smooth texture. I think there was some blood on her fingers aswell, I could taste blood.
      I can't remember how, but
my dad and I were suddenly in a green bubble, I couldn't see out of it and I didn't struggle to get out. Instead I just let it ride, I looked around and was in a mountainous region, but I could still see the sea about 200 meters away, I couldn't see the Temple, I looked to my left and noticed a large lake, it seemed very deep and the water was quite clear. I couldn't see the bottom, as I went closer to examine the water, a human, with blue skin and a very large body jumped out of the water. Just like a dolphin, it swam towards me the same way a dolphin would. I panicked and couldn't find my dad behind me, I was alone. I looked in the palm of my hands and I imagined a sword, a large scimitar suddenly appeared in my grip, I imagined armour on me, sure enough I tried walking and I was much heavier, I looked at my feet and saw chainmail. I was waiting for the Dolphin-Man to come attack me, but it just turned around and swam peacefully. I then saw my dad behind me, as though he disappeared when danger was near, he was back. He also had a scimitar, shorter then mine, and chainmail on. Suddenly I turned around again, and there was a large boss, I can't remember how it looked or how big it was, but I knew it was a boss. It swiped at us with something, then I woke up.

    15. 06/19/2012 and 06/20/2012 - "Pre-emptive Scare" and Fragments

by , 06-20-2012 at 03:13 PM (Oneironaut Zero: Dreamwalker Chronicles)
      06/19/2012
      Dream Fragment One:

I was in some large, cylindrical chamber, and had just 'acquired' a bad-ass, jet-black racing motorcycle. I spent a little while in this chamber, spinning the tires and riding up and down elevations in the architecture. Later, I had gotten the bike on the night road, and was riding along side some friend of mine, but don't remember the rest.

      Dream Fragment Two (I think):
(I'm pretty sure this was a separate dream, but can't say that I'm certain.) I was with BR, T and maybe one or two other friends. We were riding BMX bikes and jumping some dirt ramps in the woods. At one point, BR jumped off a short ramp and didn't quite clear the gap, but was able to jump his feet off of the pedals with enough time to catch himself on the elevated platform, before falling back down into the gap. A short time afterward, I was going back the other way - jumping from the elevated platform, and using the short ramp as a catch ramp - and caught my front tire on the catch ramp, face-planting in the dirt. I remember getting up and wondering about how strange it was that it didn't hurt, though I wasn't aware enough to become lucid.

      06/20/2012
      Dream Fragment One:

I was splitting two adjacent hotel rooms between myself and about 4 girls, some of whom I recognized - some I didn't. It was just all kinds of fun. Lol. I really don't remember all that much, besides all having a lot of laughs as we moved from room to room, and then sharing a bed with two of them, when it was time to crash. The next morning, something happened to where we found out that there were some people after us, and the 3 of us in the room I was in had to use some secret tunnel to take us from our room and (somehow) across the hall to the other room, so that we wouldn't be there when our pursuers busted in our door.

      Dream Two:
      "Pre-emptive Scare"

One of those strange "in-between" dreams, where you can't tell if you're fully-awake, dreaming, or just having some hypnopompic hallucinations...)
I was lying in bed with my eyes closed, facing the wall, when I heard my mom getting ready for work and talking to my daughter out in the hallway. I then heard someone messing with my doorknob, which is locked. Then, I heard CJ whispering to my mom to unlock the door, so she could come in and scare me while I was sleeping. Somewhat smiling at myself at this, I decided to play possum for a minute, to see if she would really try.

The door quietly creaked open. I could hear it from behind me as I continue to face the wall with my eyes shut. I began wondering if this was really happening, because it was so out of the ordinary (my daughter would have never unlocked my door to come in my room), but the more I questioned it, the clearer I heard her feet softly shuffling across the carpet toward my bed. Still not really sure whether I was really awake or not, I turned really quickly and sort of half-shouted "raaah!" at where I knew she would be.

But she wasn't there, and I was now fully-awake, and staring at an empty room, feeling a little foolish for having tried to scare someone who wasn't there.

(As much as I'm fascinated by those 'threshold-of-waking' tricks that our minds play on us, they do have a way of making you feel stupid when you fall for them. Lol.)
