    1. Chain of non-lucids and DILDs

      by , 12-30-2014 at 10:44 AM (Snehk's Dreamlands)
      Crisis and sleeping in wardrobe

I was in my home. It was during the great crisis. Government have sent a message to citizens, that there can be no more than three persons in home. My family told me to hide in the wardrobe, and they won't find me there. I tried to sleep, but I couldn't. My youngr sister came. She tried to hide with me, but I told her to get lost. She went to mother, and told her that I'm drunk and rude. Mother came to me. I told her that I'm not drunk. She told me that government overcame the crisis, and I can sleep in my bed again.

      DILD - the friendly wolf

I was outside my home, tidying our barn. Then I saw a wolf. It was angry, and barked at me.
I become lucid, and started whistling to the wolf. Then I told Why are you so aggresive? Confused wolf replied I am a wolf! What I'm supposed to do? I told Of course you are a wolf.... The wolf attacked me before I fully replied. Then I shouted You are a wolf, but kind and polite one! The wolf stopped barking, or trying to bite me. It replied Oh, I'm sorry about that, friend.
I wanted to go somewhere with my new friend, but I lost my lucidity, and another non-lucid dream started.

      Detective haunted by nightmares

It was in 1923. I was a private detective. I drove to the great metropoly by train. I went out of train. My client told me to search for some bodies in the sewers. I wanted to go to the city instead. I walked from the train station pavement to the cobbled road. Suddenly I heard moaning and screams. I went on, a little frightened by the voices. Then I heard a gravely voice telling me Go straight that way.. I have moved back, but I overcame fear and went on. I felt stron pain in my chest, and my body was more and more numb. Then, I have reached a chapel, and all the voices ended.

DILD - being a security camera

I was back in primary school. I made an RC and become lucid. I saw a security camera hanging from the ceiling. I went to it, jumped and hanged from it. I pushed myself into the camera, and become one with it. I sensed someone close. I turned right, and saw a confused man looking at me. While turning, I felt like my whole body was streched. I haven't seen any camera effects while being one, my vision was the same all the time. I tried to stop being a camera. At first I couldn't change back, but I focused and went out.
I went straight the corridor, and lost lucidity. I woke up.

Morning of December 30, 2014. Tuesday.

My family and I, as well as my (deceased) sister Marilyn (who appears only about thirty in-dream) are in an unfamiliar residence. On the other side of the large room and partly blocked by the fact the room is L-shaped as well as us (sister, son, myself) being in an alcove (the rest of my family in another part of the residence), is a television showing, it seems, an old black-and-white Bela Lugosi movie (though not like any real one) and the audio is oddly of what seems like a rude sonnet by a narrator rather than actor dialog. The sonnet is at least partly about manually pleasuring oneself, but there are other aspects.

There is an alcove (to my right) where a larger table extends outward from it and about halfway out from the alcove. My oldest son, his back to the television, is somehow “on” the inner wall of the alcove closest to the television, possibly somehow sitting on the upper left corner of a cloth wall calendar. It does not make much sense how this could be and something so absurd does not trigger even the slightest lucidity. My sister is the only one facing the television across the table from me, though I sometimes turn around to look at it. The sonnet contains crude adult humor though I am not sure my son understands it as his face remains without emotion. There is a line about someone having their hands in their pants (for self-gratification).

The volume is low and I notice earlier on that my sister is leaning forward a bit as if in attempt to hear it better. I turn the audio up with a remote control and ask her if she can hear it better and she nods.

I then look at the beige cloth wall calendar. It is possible that my son is actually “sitting on the wall” like Spider-Man rather than his weight being on the left edge of the top of the calendar. I notice a rather large spider crawling on the lower left corner of the calendar. I tell my son to look (as he has always had a real-life interest in arachnids) and he tries to capture it. He tells me that it is not venomous when I ask him about it.

The spider’s abdomen is quite strange and strongly resembles a darker beige pair of bowlegged corduroy pants (though the “legs of the pants” are not actually spider legs, just the odd abdomen shape).

Because a spider typically represents hands, this echoes the earlier line about “hands in pants” and the fact that it is not venomous reflects that self-gratification is not “bad” as spiders in dreams sometimes represent metaphorically (although spiders sometimes have other hand-related meanings, such as a fear of being punished - this I learned from my childhood spider dreams).

    3. Jeremy

      by , 12-30-2014 at 07:48 AM
At the McKittrick Hotel, I ran an errand for Hecate, and in return she's granting me access to a certain flight of stairs. I hand her written note to this effect to the doorman, and he removes the rope blocking off the stairs. He looks bored. He warns me that the things I'll see up there are just ghosts, so don't take any of it too seriously. I tell him I know. I'm still looking forward to seeing something new.

At the top of the stairs, everything is airy and bright, and there's the dead body of a soldier in dress uniform sitting against the railing that overlooks the ballroom, arms spread and head dangling forward in a way that reminds me of a scarecrow. His name's Jeremy. A woman in white walks up to him - there's something careless about her. Jeremy gets up from the railing, and they begin to dance through the rooms of the hotel. There's no music.

Man I am really late with this one. Anyways...

For some reason, last night I had that paranoid feeling when I was in my room and in bed. I had a dream of me being in my room with a panicked feeling. I also remember thinking that I was in a dream but never gained lucidity. I woke up shaking. I waited for that feeling to wear off, did a nose check and went back to sleep.

In my larger dream, I was in a playground when I saw an electronic-looking sphere that was light blue. There were words on it that said something about a video game and I went inside. I remember thinking that It looked not as real as I would have liked it to. I went inside the sphere anyways and saw I was over a light colored ocean. I tried to dive from the air into the water but once I got in I did not feel any water and the “game” restarted.

I then was flying over the tropics for a while and remember seeing crocodilians. At some point, I was in the store I work at, walking behind my dad. I remembered that it is possible to eat and drink in dreams so I tried to drink some Gatorade. It tasted very watered down. I then saw one of my middle school friends had a stand with brownies. I took one and could feel the texture of it as I ate it. I then woke up.

      December 29, 2014

Had a pretty long dream, but I didn't write it down or think too much about it (or anything, really) when I woke up, so I can't recall much of anything from it. Zukin was there, and we were on a mountain or in some forest, but I can't remember exactly what we were doing. It was probably shenanigans :)

Hoping for some lucidity tonight or next night so as I can keep my wingses. Let's see if tonight is the night. I have a really good feeling about it for some reason :)

      "Once the Sun Goes Down..."
      (Lucid)

I was in a supernatural town, where everything apparently goes ape-shit, after dark. (Think 'Silent Hill''.) People turn into zombies; monsters come out to prowl - the whole nine.

My first experience with this town was absolute horror. Everyone around was sporadically transforming into Nightmare Creatures, and it seemed as if they were fixated on me. I was constantly on the run, with a new 'breed' of monster popping up around every other corner. I came to be sprinting through the high, balcony walkways of a massive castle when I was confronted by some sort of 'spinning wheel of death'. It radiated red and orange sparks and whizzed through the air like a large Frisbee, ricocheting off of the walls and stone surfaces as I ducked and dodged out of its way. Shortly after escaping this disc, I began to hear thunderous footsteps approaching me from behind. Something big was coming. I ran faster through the hall, trying to put as much distance between myself and those giant footsteps as I could.

      Then, the dream reset.

I don't know if I was eventually killed by something, or what, but the dream suddenly zapped me back to sundown, and to the very start of this town's hellish transformation. This time, though, I was aware fact that my experience had just started over, and that it wasn't simply Deja Vu. I realized that this was a dream! Again nightfall came, and again, the populace of this city turned to hideous, blood-thirsty monsters.

This time, though, I was able to tear through the beasts with little resistance, acting as a warrior god among these now-harmless hordes. Utilizing mostly telekinesis and simple energy blasts from my hands, and following pretty much the same path as I had previously taken through this world, I was soon back up in the castle, confidently (and whimsically) fighting my way through the hallways and back onto the balcony. Just as before, I saw the 'spinning wheel of death', however, this time, it was inactive. It looked to be just a rickety, old sewing wheel with blades set around it, propped up against the balcony, but it lacked the glowing, rotating element of 'surefire death' that it had, the last time I saw it.

Then, those booming footsteps returned, just as before. Instead of running, though, I turned back to face their origin, surprised to see Thanos, of all people, stomping his way toward me. Even while lucid, I hesitated to rush at my mental projection of an advancing Thanos, so I took a flying leap off of the balcony and dove all the way down to the ground level. The titan followed suit and landed directly behind me. We then began a sort of cat-and-mouse down the side of the mountain upon which the castle rested. Even though I was lucid, I was admittedly on the defensive, but I was doing a good job of blocking and dodging his rushing attacks as he pursued me down the mountainside.

The chase was the last thing I remember.
    7. 12/10/2014 - "Highway Risque"

      12/10/2014
      "Highway Risque"

Hanging out in DeLand, mid-day, with BR and L. We had gone to a bar. The only thing I really remember about being in the bar is that some belligerent (presumably drunk) girl started mouthing off to us and telling us to be quiet, even though we were among the quietest groups in the bar. We just exchanged "WTF?" glances and brushed her off.

Later that night, we were driving up the highway, when we saw a commotion up ahead. The light dose of traffic had snarled as there was another, random girl walking along the ledge of the overpass, looking down at the highway below her. She was also completely disrobed. She began to do some daredevil acrobatics on the ledge, stretching up into a handstand which looked like she could topple down to the street at any moment. There were times where she stumbled and flailed to catch her balance, but she never fell.

Soon, she climbed down the stone pillar and to our level, then moved through the crowd, seducing random guys as she passed. From nowhere, it seemed, a girlfriend of hers appeared and began to join her in making their rounds from guy to guy, entrancing them with lustful gestures. The crowd was gathering, and everyone was chomping at the bit at these two girls. Then, another friend of mine, P, pushed his way through the crowd and brazenly stepped up, took first girl and began making out with her. I remember this pissing me off, because I knew my friend was in a committed relationship.

I woke up immediately after this.

    8. 12/08/2014 - "Social Slug"

by , 12-30-2014 at 03:32 AM (Oneironaut Zero: Dreamwalker Chronicles)
      12-08-2014
      "Social Slug"
      (Lucid)

I was swimming in a lake or pond, and I could see a large, unfamiliar creature nearby. I couldn't get a good look, at first, but finally saw that it was a long-face creature that, aside from its exaggerated snout, looked like a big, green manatee with triangular, spinal protrusions on its back. It was very docile and social, swimming around idly and playing with everyone. Overall, it was about the size of a full-grown hippo; large enough to come from beneath someone and toss them in the air, playfull, and into the water. We were all having a great time with it. Over time, though, we could see it becoming more and more 'clingy'. It didn't want to let anyone swim away, or take their attention from it. It would follow as all relentlessly, until we managed to slip away.

Later, still hanging out in a wooded / park area (it seemed like a campground or something), we did some level of research on this thing; on our phones, I believe, and saw that it was some kind of mutated sea slug or something. We eventually found another, smaller version of the slug. This one was much more lively, and running and from person to person and trying to get everyone to pet it. Then, even more surprisingly, the zippy little slug revealed that it had the ability to speak. I believed the thing to be alien (and I think, at one point, it told me it was, but I'm not sure on that one).

We played with this little guy for a little while longer, and over the course of this time, the slug continued to talk about him and his kind - about how they grow to be such 'loving' creatures. I said the other slug was more "clingy" than "loving". This little one said that he was much different. And, for a moment, it seemed like he was. But..then it was time to leave.

He began following us. We would look back and gesture and hint that it was time for us to be parting ways. He was having none of it, and would faithfully follow every step we took, continuing to banter on like our visit had just begun. Once we got to our canoe, though, his entire behavior change. He became manic and aggressive, demanding that was stay and starting to scamper around, enraged. By the time we got about a dozen feet from the dock, the slug shot into the air and then dive-bombed our canoe, bouncing around it like a ricocheting bullet and capsizing it, dumping us into the water.

Finally, soaking wet and chest deep in this water, I realized that this was all a dream. Instead of swimming, I attempted to levitate myself out of the water, but the dream quickly unraveled, here, and I woke up.

    9. A tale of two Pats

      by , 12-30-2014 at 12:04 AM
      12/29/14 non-lucid dreams:

Earlier I got the distinct impression I missed out on a RC and was disappointed/frustrated. Did not wake up to write down any details.

I'm going for a walk in a very new subdivision with nice sidewalks (quintessential suburbia). I need to cross the street, but it's full of water from recent rain. I'm wearing my 5 finger toe shoes and they start to get wet (one of my real anxieties). On my way back I overhear a guy saying he's going to find J from dancing and go shop at Whole Foods (which does not actually exist where I live). I run ahead to find J and demand he go shop with me. I also see Pat from work. For some reason I call them both Pat and say I'm shopping with the Pats. Then I'm sitting in the store dining area with other people. Someone's daughter wants a candy/cookie she had had before. It's like a waffle cone bowl except it has licorice flavor in it. I look it up on my phone (excellent time to do a RC, but didn't!!) and it's actually slightly burnt which gives it that licorice flavor. I ask the girl's dad if we can find it and buy it in the store; he says yes.

Earlier...something about a guy taking the fall for something he didn't do and serving time in prison for 20 years. He's ok with this and R greets him when he gets out. This dream is from a 3rd person perspective (a majority of my dreams are first person).

Dream signs: anxiety, coworker, 3rd person perspective
    10. Help me figure this out please!

      by , 12-29-2014 at 11:44 PM
I am a 15 year old female . I have a boyfriend named Terry, and we have been together for about 10 months. Last night a had a dream that i did not like at all!

I was at school with my boyfriend,Terry, me and him do not go to the same school in real life though. In the dream i was in my third hour class (social studies) i had him in that class but i couldn't find him through the whole hour. After the period ended i waited for him outside. While waiting a guy i knew in elementary school who also goes to my current school starts talking to me;Greco. In the dream though he looked completely different, his teeth were black almost falling out he was taller than usual and he talked different. Terry saw that he was talking to me and i was talking to him back, I was able to see myself from his eyes! i felt his anger too. Then i turned around i saw him staring he looked angry but yet he was about to cry. Seeing him like that made me tear up and feel like somehow i betrayed him. I ran after him calling his name once i caught up he didn't talk or walk anymore. I asked him what happened and he just quickly walked into his next class. I followed him determined to figure out what was wrong. He was talking to a girl, one i've never seen before with his eyes watery. I grabbed his arm and slowly pulled. My goal was to get him out of the room to talk it seemed like he was actually going to come outside with me but instead he slapped my hand and sat at a nearby desk. I looked back at him he didn't want to look at me. I left the room crying , i stayed outside his class just crying. At one point he realized i was crying and walked out of the classroom. The only thing he said to me was "im aloud to leave the class whenever so it's okay." Suddenly two of his friends appeared they all walked me to class but Terry did not say a word to me he just continued to talk to his friends with his arm around me. Then time in the day passed and it was time to go home. I left the classroom ten minutes early along with my friend Perla. We were outside playing soccer (We both are soccer players) then she tells me shes going to go use the restroom she never came back so i left to the buses and there she was waiting for it. i got mad at her for a second . Then the bus came and as i was waking in she quickly turned into my other friend Itzel . I was still a little mad at her then i saw Terry's best friend; Frankie. Since he was also my friend i sat with him on the bus. He looked at me in a strange way. This is the weird part. I heard noises coming from his backpack so i got closer to it. He asked me what i was doing and i told him. Then after a few seconds of silence he said "Dude smell my shirt it smells really good!". The area he was pointing to was an area between his shoulder and neck. As i was going in to smell it all i could think was "Please don't kiss me,please don't kiss me." Then the first thing he does was kiss me. The kiss was a really passionate one too. In my head i saw and felt like i was kissing Terry so i kissed him back. He slowly laid me down i opened my eyes and pushed him off. I couldn't believe what i did, i was devastated i felt sick but yet he still kissed me once more. Again i kissed him back. I stopped him again and asked him why. He then old me it was all going to be okay that he would ask TERRY'S mom to marry us !! Nothing made scene to me! All of a sudden i woke up but i knew i was still dreaming. I was on a bed with my hands on my tummy, pregnant with Frankie at my side and Terry's mom marrying us. She called me a bunch of nasty names making me fill up with anger and tears. Then i gave birth, the baby came out looking exactly like Terry but girl version. Frankie automatically loved her. We named her Terresa. I did not see Terry throughout the whole rest of the dream. Apparently we lived happily ever after.. well he did .

Can somebody what this all could have meant? One thing i forgot to mention in real life me and Frankie don't talk the last time we talked was before me and Terry started dating. Thank You.
    11. 3rd person omniscient, The French Family

      by , 12-29-2014 at 09:25 PM
      12/28/14 Non-lucid dreams:

PM has been trying not to stay the night in LB when she gets off work. What ends up happening is that BM sees how difficult it is on her and agrees they can move to LB and try to rent out their old place. They end up moving into a house with M (does not occur to me in the dream this is not where M lives!) and demanding she get rid of J (the cat they gave her in real life) because of the baby arriving soon. I think this is unreasonable to get rid of a cat for a baby. I don't seem to be an active participant in this dream, more like a 3rd person omniscient who sees and knows everything.

Earlier...I am interacting with a French family: a man, his wife, their son, and his mother in law. The MIL drives by and says fur in French (not sure if I even know what word that is) and then "bye-bye!". I get the impression she is commenting on my unfashionable-ness and inviting me to leave. I ask the man to repeat what fur is in French and he does, but I can't seem to grasp the word or hold onto its sound. I'm usually very good at picking up words and sounds in Romance languages so this is frustrating. I ask ",But isn't "eau" fur?" and then "oh wait, that's water like eau de toilette." We were all standing outside the house and so I make to leave.
Something about papier mache fruis and greeting cards...
Then the wife and I are alone and she's trying to engage me in sex.

Dream signs: sexy time, feeling anxious, not being able to say/hear words well

      12.29.14

      Last night bed 10ish - 8:30ish

Woke up few times last night, recalling dreams, and retelling them each time so I imprint them on waking life memory.

      DR1

I'm traveling in a tour bus on a busy street in Bangkok. Side streets are rather narrow, full of small shops and people. Another large bus drives up along our and comes very close. It's red and I'm thinking that it will sideswipe us. In a few seconds it sure does. Comes even closer and sideswipes us.

Now I get a 3. person view from behind and above. I see the other bus pushing ours to the left and onto another sidestreet. I'm thinking "I hope that's not the one with river in the middle of it" and I have a feeling I have walked those streets before, that's how I know. And yes, as I see the bus being pushed to the sidestreet, now I have persepective both from the bus and from 3.person view, I see the river in concrete banks and my bus is on the sidewalk next to the river, still traveling.

I'm telling people to get ready for emergency exit, in case we get into the water. I see an axe type of a tool hanging above the left window and I look to the right if I see another one there, and I do. I point them out to others to use them to break the windows if we need to.

Now we have stopped. Someone is pushing the emergency door to open in the back of the bus - like on school busses. It doesn't budge so I kick it open. We get out.

      DR2

I'm with others out in the fields. We can see a city in the distance. It's San Franciso. I tell someone to go for a jog with me to the city. My eyes zoom in and follow a dirt path along the field and a river to the bridge and to the city.

    13. The Most Beautiful Starlit Night Ever

      by , 12-29-2014 at 08:41 PM
This dream happened Dec 26, 2014 while I was staying at my father in-law’s house way out in the wilderness. I was between lucid dreams, consciously awake, but my body was asleep. I heard somebody talking in my room, and I figured it must be wife. Then I felt very mild vibrations in my torso propagating out to my limbs. I waited patiently for ‘the vibrations’ to increase in intensity and magnitude, so I could do an OBE, but it wasn’t happening. I decided to try an OBE exit anyway, and to my surprise, I popped right out of my body and stood beside my bed. I couldn’t see anything because my blanket was still over my face. I decided to ask for assistance to remove the blanket from my face, “I can’t see, please help me.” Now something new happened that I have never experienced before; as I spoke, my body beside me spoke instead, and it was lagging behind what I was saying by a fraction of a second. My voice also sounded hollow and distant. I repeated my request for help and the exact same thing happened again! My body was saying what I was saying, so I guess I was talking in my sleep. The weirdest part about this was the lag time from when I spoke in my OBE to when my body spoke. Maybe this could be one of the reasons why people talk in their sleep? Anyway, back to the dream (OBE), or whatever you want to call it.

I still couldn’t see anything, so I resorted to ripping the blanket from my face piece by piece until all was clear. It was very dark in the bedroom, and I headed for the door. I carefully opened it so as to not make any noise because everybody was asleep. Click, the door opened, and I walked out into the hallway. My wife was sleeping in the adjacent room (away from me and my CPAP machine), and I wanted to go and see her, but a golden shaft appeared in front of the door and blocked me from opening the door, so I headed downstairs. I didn’t want to go into the living room, because my father in-law’s bedroom is right there, and I was concerned about waking him, so I decided to go outside into the cold of winter, but there was one problem, I only had my gitch on. I figured, well, you can freeze when you’re lucid, right? I opened the door carefully so as not to make any noise, and then the screen door. Well, holy crap, it was cold out there. I could feel the cold air passing right through me, and into my lungs, and I instantly became very cold. It was like jumping into snow naked. I stepped outside and closed the doors, and I slowly warmed up to where I was comfortable. The snow sparkled and glittered. This is when I saw the most amazing thing.

There were no clouds in the sky, and all I could see were beautiful, brilliant stars everywhere. I’m talking 100 times more than what you normally see, and a 100 times as bright. The night sky around the stars was perfectly black. It was like a super HD IMAX experience. I was speechless as I simply stared up into the night’s amazing sky. It was like I had Hubble telescope vision. I’ve never seen anything so beautiful. Then some white fireworks went off in the distance. I decide to fly up into space and take a closer look at these beautiful stars, but as I launched, I was knocked back to the ground by some mysterious force. I looked up to see what I hit, and all I could see was the overhead power line going to my father in-law’s house, so I moved over about 20 feet and tried again. On the 2nd attempt to fly, I didn’t even get off the ground. So I decided to go for a walk, but then I woke up in bed. Strangely, I was getting intermittent cold shivers in bed, for about 10 minutes afterwards, even though I wasn’t cold. This description really doesn’t do justice for what I experienced; it was nothing short of magical.

    14. Tom DeLonge and missed Lucidity :(

      by , 12-29-2014 at 08:24 PM
This dream is from a couple of weeks ago. I have been writing down dreams on paper, but not getting them online.

Last night's dream is a good example of how my brain attempted to hand lucidity to me on a golden platter, yet I ignored it every time. I completely missed each and every dream sign.

      So here is the dream.

I was sitting in a Japanese restaurant. I suddenly look up and see Tom DeLonge walk in with a couple of other guys. They go to the front and sit at the bar. This alone is a dream sign, since I have met Tom many times in dreams but not in real life. But instead of questioning my reality my mind starts thinking of ways I can go talk to Tom without coming across like an overly enthusiastic fan. I can't come up with anything. But I do notice the restroom was just beyond where he is sitting. So I get up and head to the bathroom hoping that something will happen. But I pass Tom, and there is no eye contact, and I didn't want to just tap him on his shoulder.

Once in the restroom I look in the mirror. To my horror, I see that I hadn't freshened up since my workout. My hair is still sweaty and I have no make up. Furthermore, there is some weird white powder all over my face and hair. This was a double dream sign. I often have strange reflections in dream mirrors. And I also often find myself looking terrible in dreams right when I want to meet someone on whom I want to make a good impression. But again, I miss it completely and just think about how thankful I was that I didn't get Tom's attention. I take a few minutes trying to look better, then go out and again pass Tom uneventfully.

Before anything else can happen, Tom and his friends leave. I also head out the back door and try to think of a way to meet them outside. I see a truck slowly passing with him in it. Since this is my last chance I decide to be bold and step out to the truck. It stops, and I look inside. The driver is a guy. Tom is seated next to him, and there are two girls on the other side of Tom. I said something like "So sorry to bother you guys, but I just wanted to say hi and shake hands with Tom. And I reach my hand in the truck. Tom is looking down and is motionless. But one of the girls grabs my hand and start to lick it. She says, "Mmmm...it's salty," Instead of thinking that this was too strange for reality, I just think, "Well, yeah, I was just working out. I guess it's sweaty." Then the other girl grabs my hand and licks it too. All the while Tom is sitting there seemingly passed out. And finally the dreams ends. And I missed all the chances I had to become lucid with Tom right there in front of me.

    15. Impossible Hill

by , 12-29-2014 at 06:46 PM (Schmaven's Dream Journal of Randomness)
Riding my bicycle along a road, it begins to get steeper and steeper. There are other people also on bicycles who had to stop and walk their bikes. I even see a few cars that are unable to climb the hill. It's so steep, that it's hard to walk up. I'm in a higher gear, but the hill came on so fast that I am unable to downshift as quickly as I would like, and just muscle through it for a few pedal strokes as the bike downshifts. People tell me I can't make it, but I believe I can. My legs feel like they are on fire, as they shake with all my energy going into each pedal stroke. I'm still not in the lowest gear, but I know that if I downshift, I will lose all my momentum and that will be the end of it for me. So I push on, letting my legs burn, shake, and otherwise crank the pedals in each revolution. As the hill gets even steeper, I push even harder - beyond where I thought my maximum limit existed. I even start to gain some speed as the hill gets steeper. It's like my legs are growing stronger the more I push myself. Passing beyond everyone, I feel happy that I didn't give up when no one else believed in me.

I take this dream as encouragement to always believe in myself and give life everything I've got, no matter how things look to others, and even no matter how hopeless things may look to me.
