    False Awakening

    1. A Wand made out of Cheetos.

This is my very first DILD.

I'm in a field with a couple other people. This field is so lush and green it's almost criminal. We are all lined up side by side dressed in Hogwarts uniforms awaiting for our wands. I get mine and notice that it's actually a Cheetos so I say to myself, "I must be dreaming." I pinch my nose and realize I'm still breathing. The excitement that comes over me is surreal, my heart begins to pound out of my chest and immediately the scene begins to change. Now I'm falling, free falling through this clear blue sky. I try to calm myself but all of a sudden I see the ground beneath me getting closer and closer. I close my eyes, preparing for the hit but when I open them, I'm in my bed, in my room. Being a bit disappointed that I woke up, I count the fingers on my hand and counted way too many so again I say to myself, "I must be dreaming." The scene looks so realistic, I'm afraid to do anything. After about a minute, I get up and head towards the living room and begin jumping, higher and higher until my Dad stops me and asks what I'm doing. When he asked that question I begin thinking again it's all real. I apologize to him and return to bed. I wake up again, thinking this time it must be for real. I get ready and head out for school. I meet some of my friends on the way and I'm telling them about my lucid dream when out of nowhere a bright orange and green striped cat walks across the street. I remember telling them that this is not normal and begin doing a RC. They start laughing and reassured me that this is in fact normal and I'm definitely not dreaming. Since my RC failed I believed them. That's when my alarm clock woke me up for real. Now I'm a believer.
