I had a weird dream that has sort of confused me to what it means. It was the shortest day of the year, and even though it wasn't Autumn all the leaves were falling. I was walking outside in a courtyard (similar to the one at our house IRL but not quite the same) when I looked up and saw this guy in a tree, with a sniper rifle aiming at me. Instinctively I drop to the ground, but suddenly the ground gives way and I fell. Waking up, I find I'm in my bed, and so I swing out and almost stand on my cat, Georgie. It's at this point I realise I'm dreaming, because Georgie died a while back. I rub my hands against my bed, and strangely enough it feels like cat fur. After 'stabilising' my now-lucid-dream I go outside and into the courtyard again. The ground is intact and the sniper is still in the tree, but this time I yell at him, and he gets angry and pulls the trigger. I hate dying in dreams so I quickly wake myself up, which I've always found easy to do once I know I'm dreaming. So I suppose that was lucid and also had a false awakening in it. It wasn't scary or anything, just strange and memorable...
