The Persistence of Dreams

I was with some friends (DC's that I don't know honestly), and there was this snow storm. We had some type of objective, but we were sliding down a slope of a mountain. There was ice everywhere, and one of the DCs had yelled to watch out, as the ice may break and we would fall into the ice cold water and freeze to death. As I was sliding down, I had leaned to the right to get onto more snowy ground. The next thing I know, I'm hurtling face first into the snow. As dusk approached, we had to find shelter, or else the Others and Wights will find us. We took shelter into an iced cavern, where we had to break down an ice wall to baracade ourselves from the outside. We were warned about the Wights and the Others.

All I remember after that, is that one of the members fell far behind us, and was killed (we heard his screams as he tried to jump into the cave) by an Other. We quickly ran far into the cave, until we knew the Others had forgotten us. One of the men had said we had to light the body on fire, for fear of it turning into a Wight. Then, I woke up.

It was very surreal, as the references from Game of Thrones (I'm a huge fan) came out into my dream. However, there were many elements that weren't part of the GoT story. While I am writing this a day late, I'm missing a few other chunks from it, but this is the gist of the dream itself...
