    Introducing myself

    by , 11-16-2010 at 01:13 AM (680 Views)
I am a longtime lucid dreamer
(10ys+), although I go long periods without much recall of my dreams. I have recently once again begun to suplement with b vitamins, specifically b6, and I have had extremelely vivid dreams and very detailed dream recall ever since I started on this regimen. Most of my dreams are to varrying degrees semi-lucid, with the occassional full on lucid dream. My dreams are so damn vivid and logical that I often cannot distinguish between reality and the dreamtime.

I usually dream of people I have never met, though in the dreams I often feel as if I've always known them. I sometimes dream of people whos faces shift with each passing moment, though usually the people I dream of are solid, complex, and unwavering in charachteristic, physiological aspect, and personality. I have slowly become (sort of) convinced that many of the people I interact with in the dreamtime are other dreamers who actually exist in the waking world.

I often wake 2-3 times a night, each time remembering wild and vivid dreams that are often semi or fully lucid. I can follow the paths back through dreamscape after dreamscape, in what seems to be many hours of experience, even when Ive only been asleep for a couple of hours.

Over the years I have come to expect lucidity in my dreams, so I am no longer forced awake by my excitement at the realization of the fact that I am dreaming, as I once was.

I am often a total horn dog in the dream world. Its embarassing, but I must admit that I love having sex with random hot guys in the dream worlds. Especially when lucid.

'Ello! Name's Tigress and I would like to welcome you to Dream Views! Interesting view on dreaming, particularly the shared part. There is a group of us that meet up on the moon and regularly share dreams (though there are some who debate this). Anywho, feel free to come by anytime and introduce yourself. Until then, Lucid Dreams!

That would be a shared dream or a mutual dream, something I have done quite a bit of over the past 15 years or so, first with my boyfriend (now ex-boyfriend) and now with several other users on Dreamviews. We have a meeting place on the moon, which is where many dreamers tend to show up, though often they aren't lucid. Feel free to come by the next time you become lucid. Here is a photo that looks like the place by the koi pond, which is inside a biodome on the moon, and it's where people usually tend to meet. This should give you an image to focus on.

I tend to look like an Assassin from Assassin's Creed, in the white robes, so maybe I'll see you there some time.

Unfortunately I can rarely fly in dreams. Maybe once or twice a year at best. And I havent been out of the earths atmosphere yet. I hope I get a chance to try it soon, on the moon.

I'm not really convinced on the shared dreaming thing, although I'd like to believe. It seems to me that many of the people in my dreams are simply far too complex and solid to to be imaginary. Who knows?

I feel that most people forget the majority of what they dream most nights. I know I forget a whole hell of a lot if I don't focus on moving back through each successive dreamscape imediately upon waking, and there are always fragments of even more interesting, vivid, and possibly lucid dreams lingering far off on the horizon, but by the time I get that far I've been awake for several minutes and can't access the memories. I wish I could skip all the fluff memories of what happened just before waking so that I could go straight to the good stuff while still half asleep. Sometimes I can, but usually I have to view all the "fluff" backwards in order to glimpse the deep stuff.
