The computer monitor is an ancient beige cathode-ray-tube monster with terrible resolution. It makes me question whether this is a dream. My hands look perfectly normal though. On the screen is something about a goddess. It looks like proxima midnight, a character from a mobile game.

Closing the computer, I hurry out of the room and down the staircase. The front door is like the one in my parents house, a mix of patterned distorted glass and wood. I phase directly through it without really thinking. Definitely a dream.

The sky is cloudy and it is raining. I feel the rain on my skin. Gentle, warm, spring rain. The rain droplets fall on my bare arms and chest. It is pleasant, calming. For a short time I just enjoy the sensation, practising a moment of mindful meditation.

Recalling my new 3 step I attempt to teleport to a place in China. The attempt fails and dumps me into the void before a false awakening.

Sitting up in a yellow room I find a pair of spiderman pants. I stare at my hands and find they are perfectly normal again. To be sure I try the pinched nose check and it is inconclusive. Maybe my nose is blocked by a cold. While thinking about this I wake for real.
