We are in the garage. There is an old mattress on the floor. It is covered in small patches of ice and snow. I make a snowball and throw it at the wall.

My partner AB is here. We discuss her uncle apparently touching up one of AB's younger cousins. (Not true IRL, AFAIK) It is clear AB is very angry and upset about this. We discuss confronting him, but AB seems to have very violent plans, which concern me. Although the knowledge of what he's done sickens me too, I want to protect her from doing anything that would land us in trouble with the law.

The dream changes and has me exploring a bookshop. The lights flicker and go out, but then the power comes back on. After some searching I find the section with sci-fi and fantasy books. There is a book called 'The Cery Spar'. 'Cery' apparently means red. Maybe it was supposed to be 'Cherry'? It has a red dragon on the front.

An image of a white ceiling forms. Knowing my eyes are shut, I try to control the excitement rush of an impending WILD (I don't often manage WILD).

Feeling vibrations I wait and allow the dream to form. The I rub my hands to stabilise. A black guy walks in, smiling. He asks me about my holiday in China. It seems I have earplugs in as the sound is distant and muted. So I mime pulling out earplugs to try and correct this.

The guy wanders out of the room, talking about how China is basically like Bulgaria. Heh sure.

The room leads out onto a large balcony on which a friend of mine is sitting having a smoke. He is looking out at the view, so I slap him on the back/shoulder in greeting and say hi before climbing over the balcony and starting to fly.

Below are rows of tables filled with DCs. Some kind of party is going on. This reminds me that mind control was a technique I struggled with last time.

Spotting a pretty blonde girl at one of the tables I land nearby and use telepathy to send her a mental command, asking her to come over. She stands and starts walking towards me but then starts moving a little further away. She glances back at me, then walks a few more steps. She seems to want me to follow. Who is controlling who?

Despite my attempts at mind control it seems she wishes to lead me away from the others. There is now a path leading off into a forest. I give up and decide to just follow along, but wake up after a few steps into the trees.
