NobodySpecial

It's less a recurring dream, more of a recurring direction any dream may take. I could be dreaming of anything, no matter how unrelated, and then find myself noticing what looks like snow. The heavier it gets, and the more I pay attention, I notice that the snowflakes are actually white petals. Once this realization sets, I find I am suddenly looking down a path. It is a dirt path, with grass on either side. Up ahead, the path takes a hard right, and I cannot see what is ahead. Just before the bend, there is a hill, a short raise, and then what seems to be a drop off behind. Not a cliff, just background. I see this beautiful tree, with white petals, and a very short trunk. Underneath the tree, as if the tree allowed only the amount of height necessary for this, sits someone very close to me. She is always dressed in a white top and shorts with white shoes. She doesn't say anything, just a look. The look communicates what feels like "Finally, there you are." I try and get closer, and I always wake up. The only thing that ever seems "out of place," is that her normally wild and curly hair has been straightened. A look which I do not find preferable. I hope to be able to find stability next time I find myself here, as I am very curious as to what it is I am meant to learn from this. I will post any developments as they happen, in case anyone is interested.
